Ancient Greek prophecy is revealed that Zeus may be dethroned by a human boy who just started puberty and some weird things are happening. Cao Cao turned to look at the statue of Osiris again and recalled back to a conversation slightly before he returned.

"How does the Underworld work exactly? When humans pass on."

"When humans die, their souls will return to their resting place. That differs between every mythology. For example, those who believe in our Egyptian Mythology will return to the Duat while those who believe in Buddhism will return to theirs. Likewise for the Greek Mythology. Every Underworld is ruled by different Gods and Transcendental Beings. While I rule over the afterlife in the Egyptian Mythology, other Gods rule over theirs. The Greek Mythology has quite a few; such as Tartarus, Erubus, Nyx and Hades. From the Norse Mythology, we have Hel while Great King Enma is associated with Buddhism and the Hindu Mythology. Angra Mainyu is also a God related to Zoroastrianism."

"I see. So that's how it works. Then, let me ask you next, before you send me back. Does the legend of the River Styx works?"

Upon hearing that, Osiris put on a serious expression.

"You are not planning to...--"

Osiris countered his face as he started speaking.

But, what you want to know is not this right?"

"That's right. As a God of the Underworld yourself, I want to know whether it actually works."

Cao Cao finally left the temple.

However, before he could do anything else, he needed to settle the issue that Osiris gave him in exchange for returning him back.

Suddenly--

With his keen senses regained after getting back his past memories, Cao Cao sensed something approaching him at a very fast rate.

Enemy attack!

A black shadow leaped out in an ambush.

Cao Cao took a back step while a beam of light streaked out from the mouth of his Spear.

The first and second slash carved up the black shadow roughly into pieces.

'beshari,' with a wet sound, the thing that was cut by Cao Cao fell on the surface.

"...What is this?"

Cao Cao spontaneously groaned when he saw the dead body of the thing that attacked him.

The thing that was ceasing to function there was a grotesque organism.

If he expressed it strongly, the organism was a lot of tentacles that were bundled together like a bouquet of flowers. The tentacles were attached with countless suction pads for the sake of capturing its prey. The root of this thing was a bloodshot eyeball, rough breaths were released from it's tusked lips.

It resembled an octopus, but it looks slimy in pink color, it's size was around the size of one person. It was liked a byproduct of a failed experiment.

Could this be...

Cao Cao had a faint clue on the origins of this unknown creature.

Strictly speaking, Cthulhu Mythos is an [original setting] that was created by an author named Lovecraft for the purpose of spinning a story.

Lovecraft's fellow authors also shared this and wrote their work using this setting, the world view of this work was developed rapidly, finally it turned into a large scale systematic world that was fitting to be called a Mythology. 

However, in the end, it was supposed to be nothing more than a setting for the purpose of literary creation.

This was because the soul of the world was shaped by the magnified human's mind, only Gods whose existence could possibly be interpreted by humans are allowed to exist.

Someone had chosen to artificially create such a being while knowing it's origins...

All the clues pointed to one thing.

The Longinus that was said to be able to create countless monsters with it's ability and the creatures were created based on the user's imagination.

The city lay in ruins as we we pushed further and further back, the ancient battlements of the greek heroes were constantly getting ripped apart by the advancing Turk army, the Greek army left in the city was falling quickly, my mercenary group was being ripped apart, the Turks had the numbers advantage and the the Artillery advantage.

In the first day of the siege, 3000 of us died, the next day, they flung diseased animals over the walls, thousands of troops fell ill, a week later and here we are, 600 men facing off against an army of 40,000. I mean we were going to die anyway however Hades promised me a glorious death, not one like a dog.
Now would be a good time to mention that I have seen and been a part of the supernatural world since my birth. I had an extremely good magical affinity with fire magic and was apprenticed to a wizard in northern France. That feels like a different life, 10 years ago, I would have never predicted being here, stuck in a siege and left to die by my patron God.
"The Mercenary named Leon De Lumas, our seer requires your presence, God has passed on a message for you. You will be able to return to your lines once you have received the message, we swear this on our own God."
Laughing at the thought of another God involving themselves in my life, I opened the gate and walked out, two Ottoman foot Soldiers lead me into a tent where a decrepit old man sat over a small table with leaves scattered across it. The sight was enough to make me laugh, the old man smiled and said" I wonder if God's message will make you laugh this much, Leon."
"Your Family has been ousted in France and are set to be executed for believing in the Heritic God Hades, God, Praise be upon him, is willing to save your family if you return to the temple in Athens and slay Hades were he stands. If you fail to do this your younger brother and sister will be burnt at the stake while your mother and father will be publicly executed as Heretics."

I smiled and turned around, putting my helmet on my head, I made way back into the Greek camp, climbing the Stairs I reached the entrance to the temple, standing in the doorway was Hades and Cerberus, seemingly waiting for the battle that would decide both of our fates. Speaking of fate, I was once told by a mad prophet that I would either start a dynasty that stand the tests of time or die facing Death itself, I guess that old bastard was right huh?
"Leon, you were meant to be the champion that would free the Greek Gods, not destroy them. You were my chosen, the Reaper I had selected to hold the Turks back, why did you side with them? Your family hate you and you know this, you were never going to be selected to rule, even with your exploits as a Mercenary, so tell me why condemn us to death for those who abandoned you?"
"Do you remember Maria?"

"Maria? No why shou--." Hades face exploded into a cruel smile as he said" Your Fiancee? The One I took from you to serve as my concubine? What did you expect? She is a beauty and I'm a Greek God, you had it coming."
I sighed, looking up to the sky, a felt a single raindrop hit my cheek, looking back at Hades I said" It looks like the Heavens will cry but I wonder who for? Call off your dog, let us settle this like men." 
Hades laughed as Cerberus vanished, leaving the two of us staring at one another atop the temple stairs, I guess it was time to open the box I had kept hidden with me, it was a box that I had faced trails for when i was a young apprentice, a treasure kept by my late master, he said to open it when I was confronted with an impossible enemy, I mean the Lord of the Dead is as good as any.
A pool of spirits surged out of the tiny wooden box, their screams covered the temple, a dark aura surrounded it as I stared at the item on the box, a small ring lay in the centre. An inscription that read 'Pandora's Freedom' was carved into the inside of the box, seeing this as a hint, I took the ring out and placed it on my index finger.
*Would you like to form a contract with the Goddess Pandora?*
"I got nothing else to lose, I do."

The world around me froze as I felt my entire body being re-written, I grew to the height of 6ft 4. My armour and clothing stretched to fit my new body, the new strength in my body caused me intense pain at first, then everything became lighter and finally,  felt normal.

Time unfroze around me as my body began to overflow with strength, unsure of what Pandora wanted of me, I drew my sword and flung myself at Hades..

Leon De Lumas was a french noble during The Great war, he fought as a mercenary, siding with whoever paid him the most money however after killing Hades, he became a Campione.

Since he can kill a celestial being, he can therefore call on the sacrosanct, divine powers wielded by the gods.

A man was born with the power to challenge the Divine, Leon would start a Dynasty that would spread to the modern day, protecting the innocent Humans from the Supernatural.

This will be the first in a series of books that will tell the story of  the De Lumas family as they fight the supernatural over the ages....

but the scene see saw after opening of the door was beautiful 😍 she was speechless that how to express that scene .

a man wearing a hand made sweater which was sexly covering his upper body and 8 pecs abs was visual and a black trouser. he had blond hair messily spreaded on his forehead , blue color eyes with some sting of green in it if anybody saw it they will want to be mix in it but by seeing it carefully they will know that the eyes was giving cold aloof sting of loneliness. he had a good height and a well defined nose and jaw line and most important was his thin kissable lips. her stupid mind and heart was shouting Greek god, be my husband. she was dazed by her Greek god. then the Greek god ..... I mean thean said " miss what do you want?" . but there's no reply. then again he said " miss" . but nothing came again.he swing his hand in air in font of her face . 

realization hit her and she feel ashamed of herself for not being attentive in front of her Greek god and said shyly " hello my name is Yue Chan I'm from Korea for work in New York and I was searching for a house to live for few months , so can  " before she could complete the man said " miss this house is not for rent I'm sorry" . she tried to explain him and said " sir your house is only house in this area and also very near toy workplace so please sir" . but the man said" sorry" and closed the door in front of her. she was disappointed but it was too late to go in night and she just wanted to live there only and sit stubbornly on stairs , her back was facing the door .

few minutes later she noticed that the door opened and she was again mesmerized by her Greek god and stands up facing him and said " sirpleaseletmelivehereicandoeverythingicancookalsopleaseletmeliveherepleaseplease" the man was confused and said " what?". then she realized that said everything in one breath which make the man confuse. then she explain " sir please let me live here, I can do everything, I can cook also, please lete live here" . then the man said " miss you can live here just doe a favour". she excitedly said " tell me sir I can do everything for you just trlell me what do you want" . " just do a favour and just shut your mouth close because I don't like noises". she understand that he was indirectly telling her to shut up.

And in walks the god of all that's sexy and sin... a sculpture made by the finest artist. But hey that's not me who thinks that. It's what other fifteen girls are swooning about right now. I'm so not like that... I mean, of course the guy is super-hot with the perfectly toned body, almost 6'3'' height, brown hairs and not to mention his eyes are a shade of green which is rare to find even in the contact lenses online these days (Yes Sire, I've checked because I wear thick rimmed glasses...though those are in trend too).

Oh, but he didn't come alone. Of course, he wouldn't! let me tell you something, people who're unbelievably handsome do not come Alone. Nope, they bring their own army with them and so does he. Like the blondie on his arm who looks like a model straight out of a magazine cover with her barbie looks, branded clothes and shoes, perfect makeup and the smile for which (I'm sure) all the guys would fight in this college. Not to mention she has her own two copies behind her... which gives me a feeling of one of those mean girls' character. Or the guy behind them who's muscular unlike the Greek God (ummm... hello, the superhot guy I just spoke about...not that I'm paying attention to any of this) tall, dark, brown eyes and black hair. Or the guy beside him with sandy blonde hair, white skin and blue eyes.

Even the professor is so engrossed in staring at them that he doesn't notice them taking a seat in the class, at least not until the tall, dark and handsome one speaks up and asks if the professor would like to start any day to which everyone erupts into laughter. Stupid kids... or teenagers or whatever. Hiding back a smile, I look up only to catch that the Greek god is already looking my way. I look around to see if any of the girl behind me has picked up his interest or something but no. The fact is I'm surrounded with boys and girls who're nowhere near to pick up the interest of someone like him... not unless he would like to memorize a whole book of amino acids on a date.

When I look back, the Greek god is still staring at me but I'm not the one to back out from staring competition. No, nope! I raise my eyebrows and stare back. Few minutes later, the Greek God gets the idea that I'm not the one to back down as he smirks and gets on to the conversation with his friends. Huh! I give a satisfactory smile...Score one for me.

There I was minding my own business sitting in my apartment, although I can say with certainty than I was in the upper class of Britain, my apartment is what my friends call 'average', it being in a building with slight modern style located on the 8 floor. With sparse decoration, and furniture than can mostly be found in IKEA 

Many hearing, of my wealth and obvious social status of being the heir of the Infernum business empire, an empire spanning all over the world in nearly every profitable field. However it is commonly brushed over that I am the only Infernum left. With my mother dying while giving birth to me. My farther soon after my mother's death began to become depressed but always wore a smile when facing me. Sadly, my farther was put out of his misery just a few days after I became 18.

After his death i soon became 'detached' as I ignored all those people close to me, to focus solely of my late farther businesses. I began expanding, and exploring different country's and ideas, so much so that my tax alone not even mentioning the economic growth i and brought, tripled the UK's income.

Anyway back to me at my apartment.....I was sitting there reading a recently popular book 'Percy Jackson, and the Lighting Thief'. I has recently just got to the part were Percy, Annabeth reached the underworld and met Hades. At first I got confused because Athena was a Virgin Goddess had a child. (A/T: Depends of the source but for this small segment it will be the first one I found.)  But soon got over it when Hades was introduced, he was an outcast. Abandoned by his own family because of something that was out of his control his dignity. Frustrated with the book I set it down on the coffee table, and snuggled myself into a corner my head resting on the armrest of the sofa, I slowly closed my eyes trying to forget my grief in sleep.

Louis: "So....where the fuck is this!?"

Last thing I knew I was snuggling up on my sofa, now I'm in a white room with a small coffee table and tow chairs! As Louis was questioning if this was a dream or not, a white light began emerging. The white was like a gradual flash bang. (A/T: Just google it...) An old man appeared out of the light, his bead rugged yet well trimmed and hair a pale grey, he wore pure white robes of a simple fabric. 

???: "Hello young man, I am what you mortals call God although far from what I actually am I suppose the name still stands. And you my boy have been selected to win the one of a time multi-universal lottery!"

Louis: "...Pft!...Old man, I know this is nothing but a dream but I'll go along with it, what my prize then."

Wiping away the tear from my face i stifled out with laughter as if mocking my own subconscious.
The old man, let out a small smile, not a mocking one but a heart warming one like my farther use to wear.

God: "oh yes the prize! You've won the highest jackpot I've ever seen! Your luck must be good."
The man seemingly joked. He then with a wave of his hand man a roulette wheel appear, the wheel had countless different sections with tiny little writing unreadable to the naked eye.
God: "all you have to do is spin that wheel, to pick your next world. The wheel has worlds from anime, tv, books, films and countless other realities. After the wheel I'll given you a little surprise, then you can make five wishes with some restrictions" 

Louis: (well this dream is certainly odd, like one of those fanfics I read during my free time.) Louis then rose off the floor, and walked up to the wheel in a relaxed manner. He lazily flung his hand along the wheel to give it a spin.
 
Wheel: "Tik tik tik tik tik...tik..tik...tik....tik"  The wheel span at a decreasing speed constantly hitting the small metal fin to slow it down. The wheel came to an end with a final tik....landing upon....

Louis: "So God in this world will the Greek gods be the only pantheon or will there be others?"

God: "Good question boy,the Greek will be the only pantheon. However when you get strong enough you can meeting high beings such as myself. And don't confuse us with Primordials for they are nothing but mere ants in my eyes, even Chaos.

Louis: "Thank you. Now if you don't mind I would like to move onto my wishes please."

God: "Very will boy, what do you wish for? With that new thought power of yours it should take no time to discover the best wishes." He finished with a proud smile.

Louis: If I may you said there would be restrictions? May I ask what they are?" Louis asked with a slight tilt of the head.

God: "To save the time I'll just tell you if you run into them, but I'll say the major ones now, nothing to do with omni-....."

Louis: "Fine by me Sir. Okay then for my first wish I would like to be reborn as hades." Louis waited a second to see if he broke a restriction, but received a simple nod in reply. 
Louis : "Okay secondly, I would like have the ability to steal over peoples divinity's and gift and receive them..thirdly," Louis tried to continue but was interrupted by God.

God: "Sorry to interrupt but for the second wish, I will limit it to only if you kill the God or Goddess will you get it's divinity. Okay?"

Louis: "Yes that is fine, thank you for clarifying. Thirdly, I would like to have a ability of unlimited growth, including divinity's and domains. Fourthly, I would like to have complete control of my looks and appearance." Again waiting for god to respond.

God: "Both granted, on the fourth you would have to use the system to design the appearance you want to change into, I'll also add a feature similar to saved slot."

Louis: "Thank you. For my final wish I would like to have complete control over the underworld."

God: "Mmmm.....Granted, now I'll send you on your way. Good bye and do enjoy your self." And with wave of his hand Louis or rather Hades vanished.

God/Supreme Existence: "Sigh....My one and only son. Me and your mother will see you again soon. But for now enjoy yourself." He murmured in slight saddens but with an almost reinvigorated spirt at the last few words.

Alec- ''Kukukuku... It doesn't matter whether or not I need to build the mine for the special ores, as long as I got the resources for it to build, then I pretty much got infinite amounts of it. Right. First off, I need to control my powers. Hmmmm... what to do. I would also need to learn how to fight. Just because I'm the God of War, doesn't automatically give me the knowledge to fight and the knowledge to use weapons. Heck I've never been in a fight throughout my whole past life. The only 'fight' I've been on was when the maniac just abruptly stabbed me with his spear. Then again I wouldn't call that a fight, more like a mugging, or an unforeseen and unfortunate event. Anyways I definitely would need a teacher to teach me to fight and help control with my power. For now, I guess I'll have Cortana to seal my power to a reasonable level.
Alec- ''Hey Cortana, can you seal my power for now to that of the level of peak human, like the elite of the elite Olympians. Just keep my almost infinite stamina so I could move around at full speed without getting tired''
Cortana- ''Sure, I can seal your divinity and make your body similar to Steve Rogers or Captain America''
All of a sudden, my body become sluggish, almost feeling like I'm neck deep in slime, feeling restricted. I stood up, walked around and did some simple exercise to get familiar with my body. After an hour of continuous exercise, I finally had the hang of my body and since I still have my original stamina which is almost infinite, I didn't feel tired at all. Now I need to find a suitable place to start building my base or kingdom even.
Alec- ''Cortana, is there a suitable place for me to start building my base. I kinda want to build my own Greek pantheon since I loved reading about Greek myths and legends back in my old life. And since this is the MCU and not the Comics, I doubt that there is a Greek Pantheon currently present since there wasn't any mention of other pantheons beside the Norse pantheon and Bast the Panther God or Goddess, I can't remember. Anyways, since I'm gonna have a Greek theme here, might as well have my own Mt. Olympus. So is there anywhere you can recommend for me?''
Cortana- ''Actually, before you came to this world, the entity that you met gave you a going away present. He made a land that is roughly 100km West from here. On the land, there is a mountain that pierces that clouds, where from the bottom you won't be able to see the top. Even with people who has divinity, if they tried to use their senses, they won't be able to sense the top due to the entity giving the mountain it's own laws. Which is that to get access of the mountain, the ruler which is you, has to give permission to said individual that wants access to the mountain. Even if you get permission to climb the mountain, if you say otherwise, they can only climb the mountain using their physique, no usage of their divinity or any ways to fly is prohibited without your consent. Any attempt to climb or access the mountain without your consent would just repel them and keep them at bay, almost like an unburstable bubble that protects the mountain''
Hmmm... so it's pretty much an unpenetrable fortress. Excellent. Whilst Cortana was explaining to me about Mt. Olympus, I was already running towards that direction. Something also popped into my mind. I haven't seen myself yet. Thinking this, I bought a mirror from my shops section and look at myself. I had almost like a diamond shaped face. I had a strong jaw line, pointy chin, my brown eyes, nose and mouth had western features to it. I also had a 5 o'clock shadow going on and thick eyebrows whilst I had a set of black hair that goes to my shoulder. My hair had braids here and there with hair on my left and right side braided and going around my head and ending into one braid. I had a tanned body that is also so defined with packed and compressed muscles that it looks like somebody sculpted my body. Overall, I looked like what a Greek God should look like. My height is also hovering somewhere between 7'5 to 8ft tall. 
It took me a couple of hours to get to my location. What I saw just left me slacked jawed. In front of me there was a river that had a width of what looks to be 200m that encircles a massive plot of flat land that I can't even compare it to anything. In the far distance, I see a lone mountain that pierces through the clouds where you can't even see the tip even from afar. I just stood there, marveling at the view.

Meet Alec, an average early 20's guy who loves playing RTS games and watching the MCU movies. One day, as Alec was walking on the side walk coming home from watching Avengers End Game, a maniac suddenly showed up with a spear and stabbed him in the guts for no reason! Watch how Alec reincarnated as a God with some cheats in the MCU.

   Despite his words of disbelief, it was plain as day that the pheonix's eyes were sparkling with approval that didn't leave the girl's eyes unnoticed.
  Should this child actually become his daughter, she may be able to accomplish more than what she tell, such was his expectations upon her now compared to before. Oblivious, she frowned unperturbed and curious, "Nothing comes without a price. That much I know. Rarely do charity comes with the pure intention of good will. If I take this offer and avoid punishment by correcting my own mistakes, it does not mean that it would be solely to aid me."
  The girl paused before she continued to clarify her words, "If the condition to becoming the demichild of Lord Feng was to perish with fire, many have already been consumed by the flames started by this sinner. All would even be candidates to take my position and stand here before you. Moreover, why a stranger such as myself? Strong feelings?"
  The girl gave a harsh laugh as she scoffed, "There are other people filled with anger upon their demise under the scene I aided. Rather they are from hope and relief or revenge and despair. Any would be a perfect candidate. Moreover, if it were origin, my parents abandoned their homeland, their place of birth, for another to escape the government's oppression of speech. Abandoned their place of birth for freedom from your stance, perhaps."
  Seeing the woman's looks of confusion, she explained, "I wasn't even born upon the lands you rule. Perhaps not even a citizen under your presence. For someone born from such circumstances to return to the place of origin and ruin, it would certainly not give them the qualifications you've offered to me."
 
   Each of her words brought the corner of the woman's lips to inch lower into a frown. But, they knew what she spoke was true. Even if they weren't the God of the Underworld, it wouldn't be difficult for them to know the background and sins of the humans they rule over.
  With her circumstances and background, they knew she was indeed unfit to take the position offered by the Red Dragon. Moreover, the child knows her place well. If it had been the woman, she would think twice before choosing such a person, unlike she had previously. But, the situation was different.
  She was not the one seeking for another child. No, it was the entity from another land rivaling that of hers. Both, like all, came from high society and loyal to their own lands. However, she was not the desperate one this time.
  At this very moment, the woman glanced over to the phoenix only to find the phoenix's sharp eyes curve into a pleasant expression as he spoke, "You spoke of the truth, my child. Your condition certainly would not grant thee condition for revival, but what I require does not align with the random choosing of fate."
 
   "So, I was chosen randomly?" Her eyes widen in bewilderment and disbelief. 
 
   "If so, why would I waste effort to show my presence before one such as yourself?" Feng reasoned with an arrogant huff, "Though you stated correctly that you would be unfit with your background, I cannot say the same for your family."
 
   Her family? His words surprised the child as he continued, "Leaving our land is one thing that we can choose to tolerate, but choosing to abandon us would've been another. Yet, they still chose to worship us albeit for personal reasons. As you say, good will does not come naturally. I'll say this only once, so listen well. Of the few demi children I have, my most beloved and my wife's more accepted child have been taken control by a mere child of a greek god and disposed of like trash."
 
   As each words left his beak, the heat around them began to rise with his anger burning in his eyes.
 
   "Like pawns, our children were used one after another. Like damaged dolls, they were disposed off after they had been done, like trash! This is unacceptable!" The bird screeched in frustration having finally let out his thoughts from his chest, "They dare look down upon me and then pick on little Huang as if our strength meant nothing to them!"
 
   It was as the girl thought, after all. These celestials do have their own agenda in using her. 
 
   As if finished venting his anger, the bird finally settled down his ruffled feather orderly and continued, "If I revive you into my beloved daughter's body, I have a short list of requirements for you to accomplish in her and our stead. Aside from saving the world and punishing those that caused this catastrophe, punish the remainder of that god's children that even thought once of benefiting from this situation."
 
   The woman froze in bewilderment, "We're talking about the god of death, Hades."
 
   "Hades?" The child frowned, "You mean, the greek god of the underworld?"
 
   Having loved tales of folklores and myths, she was well-versed with the greek legends.
  Though not the god of death, he was the god of the underworld and ruled over the dead under the earth. His name alone had once brought fear or awe upon the Ancient Greek people while his brothers brought both fear, awe and hope in others.
  She was no fool to understand that what they wanted her to do must be something they, as celestials themselves, can't do without. Otherwise, why use a mere human soul for help?
  She knew that, aside from being noble, some were more cunning and used their wit to ascend to the heavens during the ancient times. Asking a human for help would be a taint their clean name plate as the most powerful beings in the world. Only the wise and desperate ones would be willing to ask a sinful human for help.
  She frowned, "The God of the Underworld, Hades. We're talking about a big figure against a human soul. Since ancient times, only a small handful of humans could ever bring down a god in the entire world. What make you think my puny strength could rival that of a god over the dead, unless..."
 
   She frowned, "What you want isn't my strength, but you want me to use wit to overcome this trial?"
 
   "There's that." The phoenix concurred with a shrug, "I do not care if you capture them alive or dead, scathed or unscathed. Punish them as you see fit, but I have no use for their lives."
 
   The child frowned and turned to the woman, "We're talking about threatening the children of another land. I have no quams hunting down the children that caused this mess, but the other Greek celestials might not appreciate children of another land interfering with their internal affairs."
 
   Seeing her identity partially discovered, the woman sighed shaking her head in dismay, "I fear that even we have little choice now. Our chosen child is still growing and require time to help us quell the tantrums of her niece and nephews."
 
   "Niece and nephews." The phoenix grumbled, "If afraid aside from yourself and a small handful of the gods and goddess, none sees their family relations as closely as they had years prior. If it weren't for that, my wife wouldn't be..."
 
   Without showing her emotions, the woman was silent having heard this. 
 
   The phoenix shook his head with a disgruntled sigh. The woman then continued, "You have no need to worry over the affairs of the gods and goddesses, dear child. After such an event as this, we'll no doubt be on the end of everyone's grudges regretfully. Our chosen child is also in no better position as you would after completing the task be."
 
   The phoenix scoffed, "When that time comes, I'll definitely protect her."
 
   His words startled the woman who looked to him with clear surprise over her face. The phoenix purposefully ignored her reaction as if not noticing then continued, "You don't require permission to hunt down them. Like I said, I don't want their life. They'll only further taint our name with their smelly blood."
  The bird quickly added, "Moreover, they're already wanted by all of us, so there's no need to ask for permission. That's your first task. Then, I want you to patch up the situation in the human realm as best as you can. We already have our hands full with prayers requesting an end to these..."
 
   He sighed, "Natural disasters... Listen, just stop those demigods and bring the situation under control while we work on revitalizing areas the kids can't reach, got it?"
 
   His half-hearted words was easy to detect. She also knew that he wasn't trying to hide the frustration and fatigue he was feeling with the current situation.
  She imagined the amount of blame the children's celestial parents would have to take on for the fault of the kids, whether they choose to or not. Not to mention, the Greek celestials even have their hands full with problems of their own.
  If even their so-called chosen child was having personal problems before having completed the task, then this will become nothing but trouble. 
 
   "Next." His words broke her chain of thoughts, "We want you to snap the strings off the other children. They'll become a nuisance upon the other celestials otherwise. If not dealt with before the other gods reach them, I can't assure my colleagues of those rascals' life."
 
   Basically, don't further bring their troubles to the other gods and goddesses before the others decide to cut them off socially and literally. she thought for a bit before responding, "All right. I can't guarantee that all have been forced to comply with those children of Hades, but, more importantly, I can't guarantee that all will come back to their senses unscathed."
 
   That was the reality of it all. Truth be told, bringing them back to their senses if they want it was fine and all, but she can't guarantee that some of those children did it out of their own personal benefit or their own tantrums. 
 
   Feng watched this child of the humans before he sighed, "Why ask me? If you can't bend them, then do what you can. Those children have already made a lot of trouble for their parents. Even if they do return before their parents, I doubt they'd escape punishment for their own doings. As long as what you do don't disturb the peace, like those children have, I won't say much about what you choose to do after this either. This is your life. Oh, I mean, this is your new life, after all."
 
   Obviously. Hearing this, she nodded, "All right."
 
   Personally, she couldn't care less about what the god would do to her new life or that he knew she'd take the chance to reincarnate into the body of an already grown child. If he were to interfere with her own mission, however, she wouldn't hesitate to put her life on the line again for what she want to do. 
 
   The woman then stretched out her hand again and said, "Then, will you choose to reincarnate and correct the results of your wrongdoings or will you decide to go through hell as planned?"
 
   This time, this child didn't say anything but clenched the woman's outstretched hand, "It's a deal."
 
   Feng stretched out his wings as five small feathers flew down before her and flames suddenly erupted from her body. The pain was excruciating, but she didn't scream. She was already too tired after all that thinking. Instead, she sucked in a breath of warm air unable to do anything in the flames. The bird's cry penetrated the air as she could hear his voice in her head, "From this day forward, you are my new daughter, Willow Li of the Li family."
 
 
 
   When she awoke, she found herself buried under a pile of rotten brown plants. She quickly sat up shaking the pile of dead plants off of her body as she found that her red qipao clothing with silver embrioderies were both torn and bloodied.
  Images filled her mind causing her head to swirl in pain. Shaking, she slowly got to her feet before tottering towards a tree. Her body was in pain as she scowled and reached out to the dead tree.
  Shortly after leaving the pile, she heard the sound of a breeze and turned around to see that the pile of dead plants have suddenly been lit ablaze!
  It burned smokeless till nothing was left. Her bare foot stepped on the root of the tree as her other foot with the tattered red silk shoe was tettering on the gravel. With a pounding head, she leaned her back against the tree trunk and slid down onto the ground as she struggled to wrap her mind around the images.
  Weariness finally consumed her mind as she began to drift into a deep slumber under the tree.
  Unbeknowst to anyone, the tree began to flower as cherry blossom petals drifted upon her slumped body and a red mark burned in between her brows till the shape of a five petal flower bloomed the size of her thumb.

That day, during an apocalypse, Willow died on the front lines of the medical battlefield. Volcanoes erupted, earthquakes shook the mountains, and plagues devasted the people. It was the very definition of the end of the world and she stood futilely at the the edge of it all riddled with symptoms of the plague and ashes till she became one with it. She was one a famed doctor of many fields and the best physician of the best medical company in America. Yet, that all crumbled down the day she learned the existences of celestials and heaven. Who would've known that the company who she was working for was on of the masterminds of the apocalypse or that she was one of the pawns that helped them kill so many people?! 
   Abandoned by everyone and stranded in China as she passed, her only regret was her own weakness in the situation and was left with silent cries of the dead. Her guilt. However, after the end of her life, a hand appeared before her offering her a second chance at life as well as the shocking truth of the world but for a price, a mission involving the imprisonment of the God of the Underworld. Can she stand up again and complete her mission or will she shirk back into her shadows and lament at her own weakness again? 
   Just when she thought that everything was futile, she discovered that she was being stalked by a shady guy! 
   "I can help you if you want to succeed in your quest, but you must come with me." He said. 
   "Um, how about no."
   "Then, I'll take you away by force, if I have to!"
   "A challenge? Great! I've always wanted to see how much my bombs have progressed!"
