I remember when I was seven and my mother confessed to me she had a lover.

Of course, I had no idea what that meant and just silently comforted her with a hug.

Nobody blamed me.

I was ten when I had found my first little crush. 

He was the smartest guy in our grade and was hopelessly childish.

I couldn't help but compete with him over everything. 

Exams, quizzes, activities, group projects.

And I failed miserably every time.

Then the whole class found out and I was teased for it. 

I, who at the time was too busy studying, didn't really care and continued to like him freely.

In the next grade, I had confessed to him.

I was rejected.

I expected it of course, but I still liked him so much.

There was even a time I kept crying because of him.

When our grade separated during senior high, he had suddenly confessed to me.

And me, being stupid, accepted his confession.

For the first few months, everything was fine.

But after that was a never ending cycle of fights.

I got sick of it.

So I confronted him and told him how I really felt.

After that we never contacted each other again.

I liked him for six years.

Ten years later I haven't found anyone yet. 

Maybe I still like him.

I'm not sure yet.

I was ten years old when I told myself that I would like to be an author.

I hadn't exactly found my purpose yet.

So I started writing on my phone in the hopes I could improve my writing.

In the midst of high-school I lost my will to write.

I wasn't exactly sure of the cause.

Maybe it was my family.

Or my studies.

Or maybe I had given up on myself.

But halfway through college, I met my professor.

I became fond of her and wanted to be like her.

Before I knew it I started to write again.

Sure it was silly and my writing had much to improve on but...

I felt happy.

And I had found my purpose.

Jiang Shan prefers to be left alone, leaving her with fewer friends than her peers.

After starting senior year, she is determined to spend her days at home to think about her plans for the future.

The strained relationship with her family, her unstable mental health, a complicated relationship with a boy, playing her part in the student council, and studying for the coming entrance exams.

All of this had been managed to be swept up in a storm called Yang Mu.

8th grade year was pretty slow in the beginning. I made the basketball team and I also got into honor band which is pretty hard to do. I also liked this year because I got to try new things and have new classes. One class that wasn't the best was history because there was one girl in that class that didn't like me. Most girls on the basketball team didn't like me for reasons I never figured out. They never passed the ball to me and my coach also didn't like me because I didn't have to pay for any of my basketball fees. My counselor paid for all my fees along with another parent of a basketball teammate. I had fun at all competitions from band and cross country all the way to basketball. Over the year I became really close friends with Kaitlynn and I had my first sleepover with her. We both learned how different we were but also how well we went together. 
  I had some good times during this year going to my first school dance with a group of my sports friends. The last dance I went to was my 8th grade dance and I went with one of my band friends because he asked me to go with him. The dance pretty much was screaming to music and no dancing. Our group of friends just took a bunch of photos together and goofed off in them. 
  After the dance we were planning our graduation and our last days of middle school. We got our year books ready and was writing each other notes people were just all over the place. The band got to go to six flags before we graduated. When I was looking for my dress I wanted to look cute because I was more of a tomboy growing up and it was one of the first times I wanted to look really cute and show off a bit. After I got my dress the next day was the last day of school and all of us were just ready to leave that place as fast as we could. Summer was calling us and all we wanted to do was to go for it. I wanted to sleep in for once because my dad worked I got to school at 6am. So that was the last day to wake up that early for awhile. The bell rang and everyone went running and I went to cross country. After that I took an ice bath at home and went to bed early to be ready for my 8th grade graduation ceremony. For band we played the national anthem and then we went to our seats to get called for our diplomas. After I graduated and got my paper to prove it I wanted to get home and sleep because it was my time for a break which I needed. Summer was a constant reminder that I was getting older and I had to start thinking of what I wanted to do. I was contemplating on which activities and sports I wanted to do during my high school years. Because those were just around the corner.

This is a journal entree type book starting as years then weeks 
So the book starts out fast then goes slower.

Nakagawa Aokiji did not mean literal sacrifice.
"The game that was created by Class 4 of the second grade was a game called [Nonexistent Person]. The rules of the game were straightforward, select a person from the class and ignore him completely. Treat him like an invisible man and pay no attention to whatever he did. In short, treat him like a nonexistent person."
The winter was over, and the spring weather was nice and cool. Even though it was close to dawn, the temperature at night was still freezing.
After listening to what Aokiji just said, a sudden chill came over them as they felt a strong sense of absurdity. It was not because they were frightened, it was because they did not expect that the vast fire incident was all because of a game.
They didn't really understand the details of the incident. They knew that the protagonists of the event were all the students from the fourth class of the second grade, and a transfer student, Ito Shunji.
Indeed. At that time, the students intended to choose the person by drawing lots after they came up with the game.
However, nobody wanted to be the [Nonexistent Person]. So someone suggested that since all of them already knew about the game, it would defeat the purpose of the game, even if they succeeded in choosing someone to be the [Nonexistent Person].
The reason was that the chosen person would have known about this game and that everybody else was just acting. If it were the case, the game would be meaningless and therefore, no fun.
As a result, the students of Class 4 of the second grade racked their brains to think of a way to optimize the game.
Just when they almost wanted to give up, the teacher announced that a student would transfer to their school in a few days.
The students from Class 4 of the second grade were very excited. They had finally found the most suitable person to be the [Nonexistent Person]!
And this was the initial cause of the fire incident in Akichi High School.
"Aokiji, how could we not know about this incident?!" Masato Yamazaki freaked out upon hearing it, but he was not done talking, "You didn't even inform us before coming here."
The others nodded along. Although they did know a little regarding the incident, they were definitely not as well informed as Aokiji.
Aokiji smiled, "I'm telling you guys right now for the sake of intensifying the atmosphere. Wouldn't it be very boring if you knew about it earlier?"
Even though they came to Akichi High School without preparation, Aokiji had already inquired into the incident, mainly to enhance the atmosphere while exploring the high school.
Based on what he could see, it was beneficial.
"But wouldn't the teacher step in?" Chiba Shiori suddenly opened her mouth. She looked at Aokiji and asked, "Normally, when a student transfers to another school, he would have to make a self-introduction… Don't tell me, the game had already started that time?"
Even if the game started and all his classmates treated Ito Shunji as the [Nonexistent Person], he could still talk to the teachers and students from other classes.
If this happened, Class 4 of the second grade would not be able to pull off the game.
Kimura Kazuki glanced at Shiori and nodded. This story was indeed full of flaws from his point of view. Maybe it was just like what Aokiji said, it was only to enhance the atmosphere.
"It was said that even the teachers participated in the game," Aokiji did not ignore Shiori's question and replied directly. "As for the students from other classes, Class 4 of the second grade had told them in advance. The game that was only supposed to be played amongst themselves eventually became a game that was played by the whole school."
Aokiji noticed the doubt on Shiori's face and smiled.
 "At that time, the President of the Student Union of Akichi High School was from Class 4 of the second grade, and he was the biggest delinquent in the school."
"Huh? I thought only those who are good in studies and of excellent moral characters can be the Student Union President?" Suzuki Aichi remarked, "When I was in high school, a senior of that nature held the post of President of the Student Union."
Without waiting for Aokiji to reply, Yasuda Aoi, who was standing next to him, smiled and said, "Aichi, yours was a special case. For the sake of the college entrance examination, the majority of high school students were devoted to learning, both mentally and physically. Along with the addition of club activities, they couldn't serve in the student union."
Aokiji rolled his eyes at Yasuda Aoi, who talked out of turn. He knew that Yasuda wanted to show off in front of Aichi and thus, decided not to say much.
Kazuki nodded quietly, seemingly deep in thought.
One could only do so much. Kazuki could study and hold the positions of the Head of Department of Sword Believers' Club and the President of the Student Union at the same time.
He believed that no one in the school would reject him if he wished to be President.
In spite of that, he did not do so as it would be very tiring. There was a limit to what a man could do, it would be impossible for him to do that.
The person who was serving as the President of the Student Union in Sakura Kyu Academy was one of the members of the Sword Believers' Club, Yanagawa Izumi.
This guy's grades were awful, he did not have the inborn talent for studying. His study plan for the guy was basically useless, which was why Kazuki told him to be the President of the Student Union.
The college entrance examination in Japan was different from those of other countries.
The examination was divided into two sessions. The first session primarily consisted of written exam to examine the capability of mastering knowledge from textbooks. The second session would be either a college interview or a professional assessment, testing one's ability, and also his skill in answering questions.
These two sessions of examination could help in further discovering the students' potentials. They would then enroll the students based on their performance or overall results.
If Yanagawa Izumi fails his written exam, he might still get a chance to further his study, as he was the former President of the Student Union.
"Those female leads in anime, paragons of virtue, serving as the Student Union Presidents and the Head of Department in clubs, bantering flirtatiously with the male lead, are fictitious," Sakai Reiko who was next to him mocked.
Aokiji could not help but smile. The horrifying atmosphere that he rendered just now dissipated after all the interruption.
Contrary to what one might expect, Shiori had been thinking. Unlike Kazuki, she was a real novelist. Even though the sales of her first published work was not very good, at least she had taken the first step to become a novelist.
The editor told her that there were two quick ways to gain popularity.
First, she could write a light novel that was guaranteed to be popular. As long as it was well-liked, manga, cartoon adaptation and popularity would come surging.
Secondly, she could write a non-mainstream light novel, gather some fans first, and make steadfast progress. There was no need to reach for what was beyond her grasp.
Which was why she chose the supernatural genre. And for the sake of writing, today she deliberately came to Akichi High School, a school that was discussed on all paranormal forums and infamous for its supernatural incidents.
"Mr. Nakagawa, how did you know about these?" Shiori realized that she was straightforward and smiled faintly.
"I apologize, I just wanted to know about the incident five years ago as it will help me in my writing."
Aokiji laughed, "There really is nothing to hide. If you investigate thoroughly, you will find out something about the fire incident five years ago. Almost all the students in Class 4, the second grade were taken away. There was actually a sick student who had requested a leave of absence and was resting in the dormitory. He managed to escape death by sheer luck."


Time travelling from the majestic era after the Recuperation of Reiki, he became Kimura Kazuki, a 16-year-old high school student in Japan, one year before the Reiki Recuperation.

19 years ago (before the events on Entry No. 1)

Carrie woke up due to the buzzing sound of her alarm clock.

'Hello, first day of school', sabi niya sa sarili habang bumabangon mula sa higaan niya.

Habang bumababa siya mula sa taas ng double-decker bed ay napansin niya ang iba niyang mga dorm mates na isa-isang nagsisibangon. 

"Ano ba naman 'yan. Gusto ko pang matulog. Pwedeng bukas na lang ang Monday? I wanna sleep," said Nikki, isa sa limang dormmates niya sa Goldwest Fields School. 

Goldwest Fields School is an elite high school where children of influencial families from all over the country attend. Some are from families owning big businesses while some are from political families. Sons and daughters of celebrities, and even young celebrities themselves, are studying here, too. 

The school, as seen from above, forms a big trapezoidal shape. As seen on the front, it has an enormous, 15-foot tall, black steel gates. High class din ang security ng school dahil na din sa estado ng buhay ng mga nag-aaral dito.

Pagpasok ng gate, makikita ang napakaluwag na driveway papasok sa loob ng school premises. Along the sides are colorful flower beds with a variety of beautiful flowers.

A few meters from the gate, at the center, was a big fountain and a tall clock tower, with the driveway forming a big letter "O" around it.

At the back of it facing the gate was the main building, the Gold Hall. It has six floors and a big entrance at the center of the first floor, leading to the inner parts of the campus. It has the name of the school at its topmost part and the school's seal below it. The building holds all the offices, conference rooms, and the infirmary. 

At the heart of the campus, fronting Gold Hall's big entrance was a soccer field to the left and an oval track to the right. Between them were two flagpoles, one having the Philippine flag and the school's flag on the other. 

To the left, beside the soccer field was the school library, the Jewel Hall. Next to it was the Diamond Hall, which holds all of the students' laboratory activities. At the back of both buildings was a mini forest with benches and kiosks where students can cool down and spend their free times in peace. 

To the right, beside the oval track were the two 6-story adjacent buildings, Opal and Jade Halls, where all the classrooms are located. At the back of these buildings was a wide parking area.

Next to the soccer field and oval track were three buildings facing the Gold Hall (from left to right): Silver, Ruby, and Crystal.

The sports center, Silver Hall, is where all indoor sports activities are held. It also has a big swimming pool inside.

The Ruby Hall is a two-story building with a big function hall on the ground floor, where the school holds various occasions, and the theater room on the second floor.

The Crystal Hall has the school cafeteria on the first floor, student organizations and club rooms on the second, and a rooftop where students hold their club activities. The rooftop has a mechanical roof, which can be spread out during rainy days and kept on the sides during sunny days with just a single press of a botton.

At the back of these three buildings was a wide enclosed cemented space which can be used as basketball, volleyball, or tennis courts. Athletes often spend their free times here. Students named it the "Sports Corner". 

Goldwest Fields School also has its own condominium-type dormitories inside the campus located at the back of the school premises. Facing each other were the female dorm, Sapphire Hall (left), and the male dorm, Emerald Hall (right), both with six floors which houses all of the school's students, faculty and staff.

These buildings were the biggest ones in the campus, with the both of them occupying 30% of the whole school's land area. Both dorms were separated by a mini garden, with a fish pond at the center and a small fountain in the middle of it. They also have car pick-up and drop-off areas fronting their entrances.

The first floors of each building are for the faculty and staff, and from the second to the fifth floors are for the students. The sixth floors have a mini pool, a gym containing various workout equipments, shower rooms, vending machines and a number of bleachers on the sides. A wide fluffy carpet can also be seen there. Everyone calls it the "Entertainment Space" which covers about one-third of the floor's whole area. Students can play games or sleep there or watch a movie since there is a wide flat screen TV on front. Both buildings have rooftops, too. 

Each dorm room was big enough to accommodate a maximum of six occupants. Basically, it has all the things one needs in a house. Each room has, at the very least: three sets of big double-decker beds with adjacent bookshelves; six individual study tables and chairs; a long study table suitable for group discussions or as a dining table; three big cabinets for clothing and a number of smaller ones; a small kitchen; its own lavatory with a large human size mirror attached to the wall; and, a shower room with three separate shower cubicles and a bath tub. Carrie's dorm room is on the third floor, Room No. 5.

Napakaswerte nga kung maituturing si Carrie dahil nakakapag-aral siya sa napakarangyang eskwelahan na ito. Kung tutuusin, ni wala sa kalingkingan ng mga buhay ng kanyang mga kaklase ang estado ng buhay ng pamilya niya.

Nakatira siya sa isang probinsiya, malapit sa tabing-dagat kung saan pangingisda ang pangunahing ikinabubuhay ng mga naninirahan doon.

Mangingisda ang ama niyang si Gary samantalang mananahi naman ang kanyang inang si Erika. Pangalawa si Carrie sa tatlong magkakapatid.

Ang ate niyang si Samantha ay kasalukuyang nag-aaral sa kolehiyo sa isang malaking unibersidad sa bayan. Third year college na ito sa kursong Computer Science. Ang kanilang bunsong kapatid na si Lester naman ay Grade 6 na sa pinapasukan nitong public school sa lugar nila. Siya naman ay graduating student na rin sa Goldwest Fields. 

Maraming mga kabaranggay nila ang hanga sa kanilang pamilya. Ang swerte nga daw ng mag-asawang sina Gary at Erika dahil matatalino ang kanilang mga anak.

Scholar ang kanyang ate sa university na pinapasukan nito, na gumraduate bilang isang honor student nang magtapos ito ng high school. Si Lester naman ay malaki ang tsansang maging bronze medalist kapag nagtapos na ito ng Grade 6. Valedictorian naman si Carrie noong gumraduate siya sa elementary.

Isang hulog ng langit ang pagpasok niya sa Goldwest Fields. Naging beneficiary kasi ang baranggay nila sa isang community project ng eskwelahan.

Labing-isang taong gulang siya noon nang dumating ang isang grupo ng mga guro at mag-aaral sa lugar nila mga ilang linggo pagkatapos niyang gumraduate sa Grade 6. Tatlong araw din ang mga ito sa kanila.

Nadiskubre ang katalinuhan ni Carrie sa pagtatapos ng programa nang magkaroon ng isang mini quiz game ang lahat ng mga bata. Namangha sa kanya ang isa sa mga may-ari ng GWFS na si Raul Fuentabella.

Goldwest Fields School is a family-owned school of the known Fuentabella family, na pinamumunuan ng ama ni Raul Fuentabella na si Don Jaime Fuentabella.

Nang matapos ang mini quiz ay agad siyang nilapitan ni Mr. Fuentabella. Sinamahan niya ito sa kanilang maliit na bahay upang ipakilala sa mga magulang at mga kapatid niya.

Nakita nito ang napakaraming medalya na nakasabit sa kanilang dingding, na tuluyang nag-udyok dito na mag-offer ng scholarship sa kanya. Noong una ay nag-aalangan pa ang kanyang mga magulang dahil malayo ang eskwelahan nito sa bahay nila, ngunit nang sabihin nito na may dormitoryo naman sa loob ng paaralan at ibibigay nila lahat ng mga pangangailangan ni Carrie doon ay napanatag naman ang dalawa.

Kahit na alam nilang malalayo sa kanila ang anak ay pinayagan nila itong mag-aral doon dahil sa tingin nila ay ito ang magiging daan sa pag-abot ni Carrie sa mga pangarap.

Hindi naging madali para kay Carrie ang unang mga buwan niya sa paaralang iyon. Many were looking down on her.

Pero nang maging honor student siya sa unang grading period niya sa first year, nabawasan ang mga pumupuna sa kanya.

Meron din naman siyang naging malalapit na kaibigan sa loob ng apat na taon, ang mga roommates niya sa Room 3-5 ng Sapphire Hall: Ali, Nikki, Nae, Jan, and Raii.

Alesia Montevallo, or Ali, hails from a family of doctors and nurses. Her family from his father's side owns the Montevallo Medical Center while her mother was a nurse there before. She wants to become a doctor someday like her dad. She is the Goldwest Fields' Student Council President and the Top 1 student of their batch. 

Nikki, or Nikhaila Hidalgo's family is composed of lawyers, from her grandfather, who is a Supreme Court Justice, down to her elder brother, who just passed the Bar Examinations the year before. The interesting thing was, ayaw niyang maging lawyer tulad ng mga kamag-anak niya. She wants to be a writer pero pinipilit siya ng mga magulang at lolo niya na maging abogado, na dahilan ng munting away sa pamilya nila. 

Danielle Evans, or Nae, has a half-Filipina, half-American blood. Her parents met in California where her mother's family migrated many years ago. When she was 12 years old, her father died, after which she decided to leave the US at dito na magtapos ng pag-aaral sa Pilipinas. Umuuwi lang siya sa family niya during Christmas and Summer breaks.

Jan, or Jannine Madrid came from a political family in a province around North Luzon. Her grandfather was a Governor, while her titos and titas even her own parents and elder siblings are either mayors, vice-mayors, city councilors or congressmen. She promised herself na hinding-hindi siya papasok sa mundo ng pulitika kahit kailan dahil sa sobrang gulo nito.

Rachel Gonzales, or Raii, is the only child of the President and CEO of Glimpse Corporation, which owns a chain of malls all over the country. She was treated like a princess sa bahay nila, which she never liked, kaya pinilit niya ang ama niyang i-enroll siya sa Goldwest Fields para makalaya siya sa mundong palaging nakabantay sa bawat kilos niya.

"Rii!" Jan called out to Carrie habang naliligo siya. "May package na naman para sa 'yo!"

"Paki-receive na lang. Patapos na 'ko," she replied. 

"Okay!" sabi nito then afterwards was a brief silence. "Thank you po!" narinig niyang sabi ni Jan sa nagdeliver ng package. 

Ilang sandali pa ay lumabas na siya ng banyo.

"Sige na. Maligo ka na. Thank you, ha," sabi niya kay Jan. At naglakad na ito papunta sa shower. 

"What's in it? First day of school pa lang, ah," Raii asked while pointing at the package on the long table. 

"The usual, I'm sure," sabi ni Nae na nagluluto ng breakfast nila sa kusina. 

"Oh, come on, that again?" Ali said habang naghahanda ng pagkakainan nila.

"Your secret admirer never really gets tired of it. Bakit 'di pa siya magpakilala?" sabi naman ni Nikki habang nagsasalin ng malamig na tubig mula sa pitsel.

Tinatawag nilang "secret admirer" ang nagpapadala ng package para kay Carrie. Since first year pa lang ay nakakatanggap na siya ng package at hindi ito pumapalya taon-taon.

Isang clue lang ang mayroon siya sa kung sino ito: ang may-ari ng librong napulot niya habang nagko-community program ang GWFS sa lugar nila dati.

Pangalawang araw na noon ng mga taga-GWFS sa baranggay nila nang may napansin siyang isang maliit na bagay sa buhangin habang naglalakad siya pauwi sa bahay nila mga bandang alas-singko ng hapon. Nilapitan niya ito at isang libro ang nakita niya.

Pinulot niya ito at binasa ang title: 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians - The Lightning Thief'.

Binuksan niya ang libro. Baka may pangalan ito sa loob nang maisauli niya. Ngunit ang nakita lang niya ay ang mga katagang isinulat sa cover page:

Happy 10th birthday, son! From Mama. 

"Baka taga-Goldwest ang may-ari nito. Isasauli ko na lang sa kanila bukas pagbalik nila," sabi niya sa sarili. Nagpatuloy siya sa paglalakad pauwi. 

Habang nasa bahay ay tinititigan niya ang libro. Binasa niya kasi ang teaser nito sa likod at gusto na tuloy niyang basahin ang nilalaman nito. Mahilig kasi siyang magbasa ng mga tungkol sa Greek and Roman Myths sa maliit na library sa paaralan nila. Gustong-gusto niyang tumambay sa library kasi walang manggugulo sa kanya doon.

"Hindi naman siguro magagalit ang may-ari nito kung babasahin ko. Magpapaalam na lang ako sa kanya bukas," sambit niya sa sarili at tuluyan nang binasa ang libro.

Pinagpuyatan niya ang pagbabasa kaya naman tinanghali siya ng gising. Naligo kaagad siya at nagpaalam sa ina upang pumunta sa covered court kung saan gaganapin ang mga palaro ng mga taga-Goldwest para sa mga bata.

Pagkarating niya ay agad siyang lumapit sa isang teacher at ipinakita ang librong hawak niya. Nakita niyang nagliwanag ang mukha nito at sinabing kilala niya ang may-ari na kahapon pa pala ito hinahanap.

Wala pa doon ang may-ari kaya humingi na lang siya ng isang maliit na papel upang isulat ang mensahe niya para dito. Pagkatapos ay ibinigay niya ito sa guro.

First year siya noon at katatapos lang ng kanilang first quarter examinations nang matanggap niya ang unang package. Isang note ang nakalagay sa ibabaw ng box nito:

'This is my "thank you gift" to you for returning my book. You said on your letter that you liked the story so I thought that maybe you'd like what's inside. Enjoy reading!

(Don't ever think of returning it. It's for you.)

Inside the box was five books: the complete Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series.

Pagkatapos noon ay taon-taon na siyang nakatatanggap ng libro sa series na ito. And today she received the third book from the popular sequel series Heroes Of Olympus.

"The Mark of Athena," said Raii, reading aloud its title. "You really like this Greek and Roman stuff, don't you?"

"The events got really exciting on this installment. You better read it immediately. Mr. X," Ali reading the note accompanying the package. "The same boring note. Here, take it."

She took the note from Ali's hands and put it inside the little box on the top of her study table, which contains all the other notes she had received before.

"Can't he be more romantic when it comes to writing those notes? They're too plain," Jan said aloud from the shower.

To be honest, I was kind of nervous when I saw the designs, as they were a lot, and I needed first to modify each one of them before forging. The first thing I did was to study the materials needed to make these equipment. 
Per my previous experience, I learned how to organize the materials of each design rapidly, and I was surprised to find out that most of the materials were nearly similar in all of them. 
Dealing with all of this took nearly an hour from me, but I wasn't worried as I knew this would save a lot of precious time later.
I would lie if I said I wasn't worried about Shin and my team, but I knew my job here was more crucial than running to them and fighting these players from Solaris group, so I focused all my energy on learning how to draw these letters and find a way to modify them.
Luckily for me, I had a general grasp on how to modify a standard design and make it mine, the secret lied in the small changes that I could do in writing these letters, as I searched for any letter that resembled some of my own kingdom language, and I began to modify these letters and replace them with my own kingdom letters.
Design after design was modified by me, as I had no other way to do this except in practical forging, it took me a couple of hours to finish remodeling all these designs, with a bunch of system notices that came with that.
Each new design I named after the same name I chose for my sword, Elmante. So generally speaking I had now a whole set of different equipment suited for many classes, but in fact they weren't a set yet. 
To form a set, I needed to forge at least four similar pieces of equipment for each class, which was something I couldn't accomplish now, however I planned to do it in the future.

I had successfully modified twenty two designs and named them after Elmante. They were enough to arm eight main classes with three pieces of Elmante gears. The hardest part was over, and now I had to finalize my preparations and start melting down materials.
My maximum ability was to deal with five pots at the same time, and as I wasn't aiming for making huge amounts of gears, I decided to do it on rotation. Each pot was enough to make from two to three successful equipment, which I hoped to have one of them at least belonging to silver grade.
I started with the first design, as I melted the materials at first, a task that didn't take five minutes for me. Then, I started to forge the melee armor. 
What I noticed was this armor had much more writing work to do in comparison to the sword, but the cleansing part wasn't hard in comparison to the sword. 
This armor was flat, so each strike from my short handed heavy hammer caused a better result than hammering the narrow surface of the sword.
It was a pleasant surprise to be able to forge twenty two melee armor in the first hour, half of them was silver grade, while the other half was bronze, with zero percent of white trash grade. That was a huge success that I never expected.
I needed to make thirty two melee armors, so after two hours I was able to make forty three armors, with twenty silver grades and the rest were bronze grades. 
I took a deep breath but I didn't rest at all, as I had some leftovers in my five pots, so I could make another armor which shares the same materials with melee armor. 
In fact, the magician's, the archer's, the healer's and the assassin's light armors shared the same materials like the melee armor. While all heavy armors had the similar materials needed to make them.
I started to make the assassin's light armor first. I chose it spontaneously while my mind was recalling the secret class I had in my inventory regarding assassins. I hoped I could find a suitable player to give this class to him, as this would raise the strength of my group by a notch.
It took also two hours to make forty six assassin's light armors, an hour and half to make thirty two magician's light armor, an hour to forge twenty archer's light armor, and two hours to make forty two healer's light armor.
After that, I started to make the heavy armors, as my mind was in the mood to make these armors. The silver grade to bronze grade results was fifty-fifty, with nearly zero percent of white trash equipment. That made me quite happy and very content.


This story is about Agatha, a princess from a weak magic-based kingdom. She was forced to be engaged to a sex maniac which also happens to be a crown prince of a mighty technology-based empire. 
To escape the fate of being part of his harem, she requested to join the training program of the empire. This training program is a VR game called Destiny. Upon entering the game, she receives an exceptional evaluation and gets the very rare rank called the Guild Master. 
She will meet a swordsman later on named Shin, as he will help her a lot throughout the story, though he also happens to be the archenemy of her fiancée. 
Follow this story about love struggle between the three and the ambitions of Agatha as she try to raise her guild to be the most powerful in the game.

The party's level grinding process was going smoothly. Everything, ranging from Gu Fei luring the monsters, the ladies hitting the monsters with their Descending Wheel of Flames spell, and Gu Fei delivering the final blow on to the monsters... to Luo Luo winking at him from time to time, was going off without a hitch.
Not being able to stand it anymore, Gu Fei called Ice Glaze over during their latest timeout session while he munched on one fruit. He passed her the apple that she preferred and asked, "What's the matter with Luo Luo—did you see what she just did?" He indicated Luo Luo who had just winked at him for who knew how many times already.
"Yeah, I did," Ice Glaze cheekily pursed her lips.
"What's wrong with her?!" Gu Fei asked thickly.
"You are so oblivious to this!" Even Ice Glaze felt comfortable enough to joke with Gu Fei now, bluntly telling him, "Sis Luo Luo is lovestruck!"
"Lovestruck? How is that possible?" Gu Fei understood the term; what he could not fathom was why it only happened now, considering that it was not the first day that they got acquainted with each other. Having a sudden fondness for him just from finding out his other identity as the Close Combat Mage or Fugitive 27149 seemed a little too frivolous and farfetched. Besides, why would a level-headed person like her had such a superficial obsession? This was the second matter that Gu Fei could not fathom. 
"Well, for matters like this..." Ice Glaze shook her head, saying, "Sometimes, we just feel the chemistry on the spur of the moment."
"How tricky," Gu Fei looked over at Luo Luo as he said that. Luo Luo noticed his gaze once more and immediately winked at him again. The way she winked… It did not seem as if she was making sheep's eyes at Gu Fei, nor did it seem like an act of seduction. It was more like... teasing… As the word 'teasing' flashed through his mind, Gu Fei could feel himself crumbling apart inside right there on the spot. Never would he have thought that he would be teased by a lady... He wanted to weep, but no tears came out!
"Miles, have you finished eating yet?" Luo Luo called out in a singsong tone.
"It's blatant teasing!" The ladies were giggling while admiring Gu Fei's current state of embarrassment. Gu Fei stood up without replying to her and headed to a slightly distant corner of the field to continue the task of luring the monsters.
"He didn't confront her! How boring!"
"Is that so? I think it's more interesting that he's not confronting her..." The ladies had different views about Gu Fei's reaction to being teased.
The level grinding resumed under the current situation. Although he was under a different kind of 'assault', Gu Fei's monster luring remained flawless, showing everyone just how strong his willpower was. He remained calm in everything he did; he calmly lured the monsters, calmly ate a variety of fruits, and calmly took Luo Luo's blatant teasing. Gu Fei's present mentality of 'ignoring the issue until it went away by itself' was obviously an outdated approach. For the young ones of this generation, they would often face with stubbornness and perseverance the things that they were interested in.
Now that Gu Fei had made changes to his grinding strategy by doing the monster luring himself, the ladies were no longer standing in positions that would be targeted by the monsters and he of course was able to dodge the monsters' attacks with his fighting prowess. With nothing left to do, Luo Luo decided to bestow Heal on to him repeatedly, making the latter feel as if his entire body was being displayed to all with how it kept on glowing.
Gu Fei kept on luring the monsters and Luo Luo continued to bestow Heal on him unnecessarily … Both remained like this until the end of their level grinding session.
The ladies' gaming hours were quite to Gu Fei's liking, as they suggested to conclude today's grinding session just as he deemed that it was time to log off. They gathered up to leave the level 50 grinding map together, feeling very satisfied with their accomplishment today. "What time are we meeting tomorrow?" everyone asked Gu Fei.
"I am just a substitute…" Gu Fei said instead.
"Come together with Royal, please! You're also grinding for levels, anyway!" all the ladies pleaded.
"I am used to grinding alone—"
"What's fun about grinding alone? Please come!" The bunch of ladies surrounding Gu Fei was adamant, cajoling, "We'll bring different kinds of fruits for you! You just need to be present!" One of them even said, "You like bananas, right? I'll bring more for you tomorrow."
"Am I a pet that can easily be swayed by bananas alone?" Gu Fei laughingly asked.
"There are still apples, peaches, and pears besides bananas… Which ones do you want?" the ladies answered with a question.
Gu Fei explained to them patiently, "Look. I've been a member of Amethyst Rebirth from day one... When did I ever grind with the other members before?"
The veteran guild members turned silent, and only the four newcomers curiously asked, "Why is that?"
"Because I'm used to grinding alone—"
"What's fun about grinding alone?" They went back to that same question.
"Oh, great hero, Miles, don't be so small-minded! Take all these women under your wing!" Luo Luo finally spoke.
Gu Fei did not say a word. He had always been grinding alone not because he was opposed to grinding with others but because nobody wanted to grind together with him. When he first started the game, he thought of grinding together with Fireball. However, Fireball valiantly declined his offer, not wanting to depend on Gu Fei to level up easily. He also learned that the other five members of Young Master's Elite never grinded levels together after joining that mercenary group. As for his Amethyst Rebirth's guildmates, they previously did not welcome his presence with such enthusiasm like right now. Since he also usually went to high-level grinding maps, the chances of him making new friends or meeting new people in those maps devoid of other players were virtually non-existent. All sorts of reasons led to Gu Fei grinding by himself all this time, but he definitely did not do it to get used to becoming an independent expert like Sword Demon and the rest.
Had it been the typical Gu Fei, he would not have rejected the ladies' request, especially after seeing how enthusiastic they were to grind levels with him. Right now, however, Luo Luo's sudden transformation into someone who was infatuated with him frankly left him quite shocked.
"What? Could it be that you are afraid of me?" Luo Luo smilingly asked.
"What's there to be afraid of? I'm just not used to getting preferential treatment from a Priest," Gu Fei answered lightly.
"Then, get used to it!" Luo Luo remarked.
"See you tomorrow," Gu Fei said.
"See you tomorrow," Luo Luo said as well.
All went their separate ways once they arrived at Yunduan City, either heading to the log-off points or going to do their personal matters. The level grinding session's end did not mean that everyone would get offline. Out of consideration for people who worked and slept at regular hours, guilds and mercenary groups would do their joint activities during the peak hour of the game – from the time after dinner until the time before bed. The really large-scale or lengthy activities would only be conducted during the dead of the night when the 'normal people' were fast asleep.
Gu Fei saw Young Master Han, with eyes brimming with vigor, exit Ray's Bar as he passed by it. "Hi!" he greeted.
"Time to work," Young Master Han greeted Gu Fei with a liquor-induced burp and headed to the direction of the city gate. This one was obviously among those with irregular lifestyles that would energetically do their businesses once others were sound asleep. 
Gu Fei headed to a safe zone to log off.
He had more free time the next day, so he logged into the game earlier than usual. He had a lot of idle time before the peak hour arrived, so Gu Fei hung Moonlit Nightfalls on his back and flashily wandered the streets, hoping to encounter a few robbers. In the end, his effort was in vain. Most players were law-abiding; even if they saw some top-grade equipment, they would at most fantasize about owning it inwardly and would never actually try to steal the item. As for those who would do such felonious act, they began walking on a more rational path after Parallel World's release to the public. Although they could see that Gu Fei's Moonlit Nightfalls was top grade, they would not hastily steal it without uncovering its traits through the Appraisal skill first.
Top-grade equipment referred to an item that possessed strong traits, which had obvious edges over the weak traits of regular equipment. If the traits of an item were lousy, then that particular equipment would be nothing but lustrous trash. Those who wanted to rob equipment would never do so for collection purposes; since equipment-looters were either thinking of using the equipment themselves or selling it for money, none of them would of course steal equipment that they had failed to appraise. Killing a player for his or her particular equipment to drop was not an easy task, after all.
Gu Fei inadvertently found himself arriving at Ray's Bar after roaming around and failing to attract any robbers. He went inside and greeted Ray who pointed him toward the mercenary group's usual private room. This gesture meant: "Someone from your group is inside."
Gu Fei walked inside and indeed saw one member, Royal God Call, writing by a corner!
"What's the matter? Bringing homework to do in-game again?" Gu Fei asked.
Royal God Call lifted his head at Gu Fei's words before lowering his head to continue what he had been doing, "I'm writing the secret manual for Mages!"
The legendary 'Mages' Secret Manual' was supposed to be written by Royal God Call, but it turned out that he had merely promised to write one on a whim. Royal God Call previously bringing Gu Fei along to buy stacks of booklets and pens caused the latter to mistakenly assume that the former was about to seriously write the manual. When Gu Fei inquired about it several times afterward, Royal God Call always put it off as another day's work. A month later, Royal God Call resorted to putting up a blank look on his face and pretending to not know about it whenever Gu Fei brought up the issue, so Gu Fei eventually stopped expecting anything about it from Royal God Call. Thus, Royal God Call resuming his initial plan today made Gu Fei think that he had eaten something wrong. Gu Fei picked one booklet up, casually flipping through it before dropping it down. He asked, "How's your 'Bounty Mission' going?"
Royal God Call's expression dimmed, answering, "I managed to kill three, but the fourth one is on hiatus."
"What happened?" Gu Fei pressed on.
"My target has many companions, so I dared not make my move." Decision-making was an important quality expert gamers like Royal God Call had; when experts were faced with an unwinnable situation, they would oftentimes refrain from making a move. "What would you do if you encountered a situation like that?" he asked Gu Fei. Since players usually grinded together with others, Royal God Call firmly believed that Gu Fei had likely stumbled upon a situation like his more than once.
"Make my way over there and kill the target," Gu Fei answered simply.
"Sh*t! That only applies to you!" Royal God Call felt foolish for asking such a question. Gu Fei's circumstance was clearly different from the rest of them. Putting his ability to insta-kill his opponents aside, Gu Fei was a super melee expert, and many methods applicable to him were simply not doable for them. "It's impossible to consecutively complete 'Bounty Mission' for one hundred times at this rate!" Royal God Call exclaimed in anguish.
"Want me to help you?" Gu Fei asked.
"How can you help?" Royal God Call asked with eyes wide open.
"By accompanying you, of course! I'll slightly reduce your target's HP, and then you can settle everything by shooting the target from afar!" Gu Fei replied.
"This...This..." Royal God Call stuttered, shocked. It was not that the idea was not good, but that it would waste a huge amount of Gu Fei's time. Since the final objective of doing the 'Bounty Mission' was to get Royal God Call the reward, Gu Fei himself would not gain anything from helping him out. Even biological brothers were not necessarily willing to help each other like this, right? 
"What is it?" Gu Fei asked while looking at him in a puzzled way.
"Bro, you are a real brother to me!" Royal God Call was moved to tears.
"You brat! That's very rude! Call me your uncle!" Gu Fei scolded.
"If you manage to get me the boots, I'll even call you grandpa if you want!" Royal God Call threw himself at Gu Fei, saying, "Let's go! Let's go!"


He is a great fighter in real life, but he is mistakenly assigned a "Mage" job class in a virtual reality game! He is someone who uses power to conquer power, so he makes the most out of the mistake and transforms into a fierce Mage, versed in close combat, in the blink of an eye! By perfectly combining strength and spells, he uncovers a new path of gaming!

Fireball? Chain Lightning? Frost Mirror… Wait just a minute; I’ve come to practice kung fu! Spells have nothing to do with me! What’s that? I’m a Mage? Oh, right! I am a Mage indeed. But… Are you certain I’m one? Alright… Feel the might of my saber! My sword! My hidden weapons! What? You’re saying I’m no Mage now? Let me prove it to you if you don’t believe me! Dear Diary,

2nd day of school down and.... *sigh* a lot more to go. Oh well, its school.

Anyway, it was an okay day at school. English was kinda fun, Mrs. Berry asked us to create a list of five goals that we want to reach by the end of the year. My five goals were:

1. Get all A's
2. Pass all test with 80% or better ( Getting a B- minimum shouldn't be that hard.)
3. Read more books
4. Form good study habits (Mine were horrible last year!)
5. Be more involved in school activities

Those are the goals that I thought were something that I could do, but at the same time weren't to difficult that I wouldn't be able to consistently hit my goals. After doing that for Mrs. Berry, I thought I would make my own for my freshman year. Let's see what do I wanna to do this year.

1. Get all A's. I still want good grades, plus I know it would make my dad happy. 
2. Be more involved in school activities, like maybe join a sport, team, or club. High School has a lot of those compared to middle school and I didn't do much in middle school. Time to make some memories. :)
3. Spend more time with my besties. Even though I want to go out and try new things, they are still my best friends and I want to spend time with them. Even its its studying for stupid school test together.
4. Get a boyfriend. :) Only if dad approves though. Now that I think about I don't know, how he feels about me dating... I'll ask him if it ever seems like a possibility.
5. First Kiss. <3 I know totally depends on number 4, but I can dream. Haha.

Speaking of boys and boyfriends, I did manage to see Dylan today. He was the eighth grade hotter when I was in middle school, even us 6th graders would stare at him and he looks hotter than he did two year. Is that even possible?! To bad he is a Junior though, I won't have any classes with him.

The speeches of the presidential candidates were always scheduled to be held on the Monday of the last week of September. Followed by the debates on Friday and the primaries on the first Monday of October.
I sat beside Leo at the gym during the morning ceremony as usual. Leo was wriggling around, feeling restless. A teacher is currently speaking on stage.
"Are you feeling nervous?" I whispered in a concerned tone.
"No. I'm just so excited!" Leo replied. "I can't wait to go up!"
I rolled my eyes, thinking that I shouldn't have asked.
After the teacher finished speaking, he invited all the presidential candidates to come forward and go up on stage. Leo stood up, winked at me and headed to the stage.
"I really hope he doesn't embarass himself up there." I thought to myself.

There were a total of 5 candidates that is running. Most of them were seniors, with Leo being the only sophomore. Leo was scheduled to be second to last in making his speech.
After each candidate made their speeches, it was Leo's turn. When he arrived in front of the podium and waved, many students started cheering. However, they were mostly women.
"OMG Leo is so cute!"
"IKR he's so adorable."
The women made similar comments throughout the gymnasium.
Leo smiled and tapped on the microphone, making a sharp electrical noise.
