Anna Sebastian had her heart broken by Benedict Jay Tan Jr. when they were in high school. Now that their paths crossed as adults, Anna was afraid of the same feeling towards the guy suddenly resurfaced. Will she keep her lessons of the past rule or will she allow herself to get burned again?

"This, this is also true." The political commissar felt that what the young lady said was fairly reasonable. 
He had fallen into the usual teaching routine that he had almost forgotten his original intention of getting his soldiers to learn English.
Only those military experts who were specially trained in the army needed to meet the strict requirements that Qiao Nan mentioned. The army would only have high requirements for these people. 
As for the rest of the soldiers, it was sufficient for them to know some basic English. 
"Besides, there's another point that the political commissar might have neglected. These people are not young students. It is easy to get young students to memorize and copy the words they learned multiple times, but the people in the army are adults. All of them are older than me and they want to maintain their dignity. It is tiring enough to go through the training in the army. It will be unrealistic to get them to memorize English vocabulary and grammar during their hard-to-come-by free time just like students would."
Once this happened, all male and female soldiers would no longer be interested in learning English. 
Everyone was interested and curious about English, but it was just for the sake of leisure. They were unlike students who had to follow strict rules and requirements. 
Therefore, the teaching method used in the school would not work in the army.
"Do you understand?" Lin Yuankang touched the goatee that he had kept for two years. "Have you heard of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude? This is exactly what we are doing. My disciple may be young, but she has learned well from me and has picked up almost all of the skills that I imparted to her."
Lin Yuankang was shameless. Previously, he had the same doubts, but he knew to grab the limelight at times like this.
"I understood." The political commissar was without any temper in front of Elder Lin. Besides, after Qiao Nan's explanation, the political commissar felt that Qiao Nan was right and had made careful considerations.
If Qiao Nan was to teach according to what he had originally envisaged, then his good intentions for arranging the event would be ruined. All the efforts would be wasted.
A one-time failure at English would be a blow to their confidence and would affect their English learning in the future. This was definitely not what he wanted.
"Comrade Xiao Qiao, you have worked hard. This is very thoughtful of you and what you said is very reasonable. I am very glad that Elder Lin brought you here with him. Otherwise, we might waste a lot of time and use the wrong method to teach the soldiers. Moreover, it would take a lot of effort to correct the wrong." The political commissar was very polite to Qiao Nan on account of Lin Yuankang. "I will have to trouble Comrade Xiao Qiao for this period of time. If there is anything that you need, please feel free to talk to us. I will definitely arrange it for you right away."
"The political commissar is being too polite. This is what I should do. I always feel that soldiers are the loveliest people in the world. It is my pleasure to sacrifice some of my time for them. In fact, my dad used to be a soldier. It is just that I am not fit enough to join the army. Otherwise, I would like to be a soldier." Her weight to height ratio failed to meet the standard requirements, so she could not enlist as a female soldier. 
"I see. It's no wonder that Comrade Xiao Qiao is so approachable and spent so much time before the class to do the lesson plan. We are all one big family." The political commissar was more than happy. The descendants of soldiers had to be a good choice.
Looking at how Qiao Nan shone among the crowd, Qiu Chenxi was so angry that she bit down hard on her molar tooth.
Elder Lin had to take all the credit for Qiao Nan's good performance and recognition by the political commissar. It was Elder Lin who taught her well.
In other words, if Elder Lin took her in as his disciple two years ago, Qiao Nan would not be in the limelight today. The one who was popular and won the favor of everyone would be her instead of Qiao Nan!
Qiu Chenxi took a few deep breaths. There were countless advantages of becoming the disciple of Elder Lin. Given Qiao Nan's family background, if not for Elder Lin who taught her well, Qiao Nan would not be able to speak her mind in front of the political commissar.
Qiao Nan had such a weak foundation and yet she could have such fabulous performance. If she was Elder Lin's disciple, her performance would be much better than Qiao Nan!
Even if she was late by two years, she still wanted to give it a try to know if she really had no chance at all. "Elder Lin, do you still remember me?"
"You…" Elder Lin frowned and thought for a while. "I can't remember. I'm sorry. Now that I am old, my memory is not as good, and I can't remember faces."
"Elder Lin, my name is Qiu Chenxi. Two years ago, I went to meet you."
"Oh, the lady from the Qiu family. I have some impression. What's wrong? Why are you here?" Qiu Chenxi turned black with anger at the forgetful expression on Lin Yuankang's face.
Qiu Chenxi forced a smile on her face. "Elder Lin, you should know that I have always liked English. It's just that I didn't have the chance to get your advice. I have graduated from college and the results were pretty good. This is a rare opportunity. I also want to do something for the army. Elder Lin, political commissar, is it possible if I teach the lesson tomorrow?"
She would definitely teach better than Qiao Nan. By that time, Brother Zhai, Uncle Zhai, and Elder Lin would be in awe of her outstanding performance. Qiao Nan would be nothing to them.
She wanted to prove to everyone that she was the best choice!
"Comrade Qiu…" The political commissar knitted his eyebrows and was in a difficult position. "Comrade Qiu, it's good that you want to teach the soldiers, but can we do this at a later time?" Elder Lin and Comrade Xiao Qiao did not have all the time to spend in the army. They were only allocated a certain amount of time.
In the short amount of time that Elder Lin had promised to give lessons to the army, he certainly hoped that Comrade Xiao Qiao could utilize all the time to teach the soldiers as much as possible so that they could master some basic English and build up their foundation.
When Comrade Xiao Qiao had finished her lessons, and if Qiu Chenxi still wanted to conduct her own lessons by then, he would be very glad to have her do that. 
"Political commissar, do you not believe in me? Do you think that I don't have the ability?" Qiu Chenxi's face turned red. "Political commissar, I know Qiao Nan as well. Come September, she will be a second-year student at Ping Cheng High School." She was a college student, while Qiao Nan was only a high school student. Did the political commissar felt that she, who was a college student, could not compare to a high school student?
The political commissar was in a difficult position. He had to take into account the Qiu family's position as well.
If not for the Qiu family's sake, Qiu Chenxi would not have the chance to go to the army.
The political commissar sighed and looked at Lin Yuankang. "Elder Lin, what do you think of this?"
Lin Yuankang lifted his chin and said nicely, "They are teenagers after all. In fact, they can discuss and come to a conclusion by themselves. She may be my disciple, but she is still very young and doesn't have enough life experiences. It's certainly a good idea for them to exchange ideas with each other. That's a good thing."
"Elder Lin, do you mean that you agree to it?"
"Why not?" Someone was stupid and willing to volunteer to act as a contrast to his disciple. Through comparison, everyone would know how outstanding his disciple was. He was more than willing to agree to it.


Qiao Nan: Crap! I am your biological daughter, yet I am treated as if I was picked up from the streets. In fact, you treat me worse than that!

Mother Qiao: Qiao Nan, you are not as pretty or smart as your elder sister. You are not as blessed as her. You have no right to study, marry, or to have your happiness!

Qiao Nan: Why am I not allowed to study, marry, or to seek my happiness? I will find a man right now and marry him!

Qiao Nan is dumbstruck upon discovering that the man right beside her is a powerful figure in the quad—the person who has the most promising prospects to be the future Chief.

Qiao Nan stares at the well-built man in front of her. He has firm abs and cold, chilling eyes. She swallows the lump in her throat as she says her greetings, "Good Morning, Chief!"

Luckily the rest of the lessons went by normally which didn't help the growing paranoia grown from Mr Michael. Each teacher I met could be an accomplice to him and trying to explain this to Sylvia will probably be a bad idea because those same teachers could be Derek's extra eyes and ears. In the end I had to leave it to stew inside my mind and hope Sylvia doesn't see anything off. She hasn't grasped the idea that I'm acting overreactive to her comments, she mostly finds my reactions funny. The lessons we had were Biology, maths, music and art. She excelled in all of them except for Art. She was authorised to work on other lessons in art, so she worked on English.
"Why don't you just goof off?" I asked her when she began to answer the questions from the English class we missed, Derek must have emailed it to her.
"My mum will kill me if I'm off track in my lessons," she explained.
At the end of the school day she was taxied out of school by Derek while I walked. Before leaving she gave me a small object which had a few numbers and letters on it.
"What is this?" I asked.
"I don't know, Derek asked me to give this to you," she shrugged and got into the car. 
The screen of it read: firespark_2171. I stored it in my bag and walked the busy streets home. Living on a space station can be busy, loads of traffic on the ground and the air as cars travels up and down levels to reach their destinations. I always had to head through an alley o reach my home and it always made me anxious. I'm going to end up being attacked in this alley way, aren't I? I usually ignore these thoughts and speed on through however the event that happened this morning has reinforced the problem. While walking through I hand griped my right shoulder and caused me to go pale. I was spun around by the hand to see a woman. She clicked her free hand and pointed at me.
"F I r e S p a r k 2 1 7 1?" she read aloud.
"The numbers Derek gave me," I whispered.
"Aye your agent name, you're the VIP's primary protector?" she asked.
She looked young, around her twenties and looked like she was going out to a party, she had a belt with a bunch of metal objects which had lights emitting a soft blue.
"I'm agent Lightshow, aka your protector," she bubbled while grabbing one of objects on her big belt.
The object was a large metal disc, it had many bevels and was very thick. She held it out to me and accepted the gift. It suddenly flew out of my hand and landed on my left wrist. There it wrapped around. I gasped when I glowed brightly, and a field of energy quickly spread from it, while this happened a handle grew out to wrist in my hand. It was a shield made of energy!
"That's your main tool," she motioned to her left wrist which had a similar object.
She pressed a button which made it create its own shield. I pressed it and it vanished.
"You know I thought spies would have something like a grappling hook," I said with dismay.
"Sure," she said but activated the shield again "but they can it do this."
She looked like she was guarding against a garbage can then she pressed a button on the handle and a flash and explosion of energy sent the garbage can flying several meters away.
"Now use this wisely, if you use it willy-nilly against anyone your cover will be blown, and the shield deactivated," she pressed a button and my shield lost all its light "once you've gotten more training more features will be unlocked as well as gadgets."
"When is the first training?" I asked.
"Looking at the time," she looked at the inside of her wrist a hologram showed up which showed info to her.
I did the same however my hologram was huge and very blight, I threw my head away from the intense light.
Lightshow laughed "oh I got you ha-ha."
"Ow ow ow," I said while rubbing my eyes with my other hand.
"Ok I've had my fun, the user settings are now editable by you only," she swished around with the hologram and my hologram became duller.
"Alright have fun I'm heading off, ta ta," she turned around and walked away.
She's likely going to be following me though. I remembered where I was, and the alley seemed to close in around me so continued walking speedily through it. Once through the alley I was practically home free, I walked up the empty driveway of my house and opened the door. I walked into the living room and suddenly hugged from behind.
"Oh, I'm so proud of you," it was my mother.
"What did I do?" I was confused.
"You can't hide it from me, a man from the government came to our house and told us you have been selected to be a part of a special VR training programme," she looked so happy.
"Oh yeah," I played along with it "I was just acting dumb, so I could surprise you!"
She squeezed me again "oh I can't wait to tell Sharlene she's going to be so proud of our little trooper." 
Sharlene is my other Mum who works as Nurse, same sex parents are common.
"Oh, the man said to go up to your room as soon as you get here, they replaced you old VR machine with a new one so that you can do the program," she kissed my cheek.
"Ok ok stop smothering me then," I wheezed while I was being crushed.
She released me and went back to what she was doing. She's a VR artist who works in architecture to create a simulation of a new building. 
I walked up stairs to see the new model they place in. It was a lot bigger than my original one. A VR machine is a big machine, dominating half my bedroom which seems to have been increased in diameter to allow more space. It creates a force field around itself, so the user can't fall out or injure people around them. The machine simulates the environment using Nano-cubes which quickly build together to create objects seen in the virtual world for example a table or plant. It can create the climate of the place as well. It monitors your vitals so that you will not die in the machine however the more realistic ones can cause injuries. If a mace flies towards you in a game, a real one will but with a softer impact. It appears mine is the newest model which has these as features. I was so excited, this machine can give me levels of immersion that my previous one couldn't, I will be able to touch the stuff I can see in the game, feel the climate the weather like I was there! My version of VR used wands as the way to control actions however this one uses gloves. My excitement was distracted by a Duffel bag Within the machine, it had a post it notes attached.
It read "uniform for the 'training programme' from Derek."
I crushed the note with an angry face. Derek is such a smart ass. I went to the toilet then suited into the uniform. The uniform was a jump suit with thick padding and made of a black material. I switched on the machine and the VR helmet lowered along with gloves and realisation lowered onto me as well.
"I'm gonna be trained to be a spy," I exclaimed with a half-smile.
I'm being forced to do a hellish version of the gym.

A boy in secondary school meets a Home schooled girl. something seems off with her and causes his life to become more complicated than a maths test.

Shino sighed as she popped a lollipop into her mouth. The room was silent. The only thing to be heard was the familiar beeping of the cardiogram. She ended up in the hospital only a week after she got out. Things we're going great for some time. No problems occurred at all. She was keeping her suger intake constant and didn't suffer any major headaches. Everything was great until earlier in the day when she was suddenly overwhelmed by her own senses. She could suddenly  hear things far out of her range of hearing. Different scents assaulted her and confused her to no end. She was picking up on everything around her at every moment. She was doing way to much at the same time and she was aware of it all. Her headache returned and the pain in the throat. Before she knew it she was coughing up blood and passed out again. 

And just like the last time she woke up in the hospital. 

She woke up to the familiar annoying beeping and found some odd device over both her ears and a smaller one over her nose. 

The door opened and the familiar doctor strolled in. She found out that he was her family's personal doctor and the only doctor in the hospital that's  aware of their status. 

"Hey there little Kiddo"

"Hey doc. Where are my parents "

"They'll be here soon. Your butler made sure to call them and fill them in on what happened"

"I had a sensory overload didn't I? "

"That you did. Those devices you're wearing are making sure you don't enter it again. The second those are removed you'll overload again"

Shino sighed and plopped back onto her bed. 

"Was it my brain? Was it working to its full capacity again? "

"Yes. The last time it had stopped when you lost consciousness, but it looks like it's still working double time"

"No wonder I felt like I was picking up on too many things at the same time. Am I going to be able to control my senses? "

"That I do not know, but for the time being you'll have to wear protective gear"

"What's the status update on my quirk? "

"Those stem cells of yours are still mass producing and replacing dead cells. That's all they seem to be doing. They stop producing temporarily and start up again once cells need to be replaced. Its an odd pattern. To me it seems as if they're waiting for something "

"My cells are waiting for something? "

"Yes"

"Alright whatever you say doc. I'll watch out. Anything else? "

"I don't think so. For now we just sit and wait on your parents so I can fill them in"

And so they waited. Shino had managed to pull the doctor into a game of gold fish when she saw a pack of cards nearby. Shino won for the most part but the doc was pretty good himself. Around a half hour later Shino's parents arrived looking as worried as ever. 

"Are you OK? "

"I'm perfectly fine, dad"

"Are you sure"

"Of course I am mom"

"Shiro, Nico, let me fill you in"

Shino was left in the hospital room while the adults had a conversation outside. Every now and then she would fidget with the device on her ears. She was too aware of the thing to not notice it. She was aware of a lot of things. She was aware of the amount of heartbeats she produced in a minute. She was aware of the tubes in her arms. She was aware of the shift in temperature from a couple of minutes ago. She was aware of the practically unnoticeable stain on the white ceiling. Every little detail caught her eye and every bit of information was processed within seconds. Was her new awareness due to her brain working to it's full potential? 

She was clear to go home after the adults had their chat. Before arriving home her parents had stopped at a crafting store to get a special pair of headphones and a scarf made for Shino. It would take around ten days for the project to be completed. Shino would have to be hyper aware of the odd devices on her ear and nose for ten days. Oh joy. 

When Shino arrived home she made a bee line for the kitchen. The second her hand touched the fridge she felt an electrical jolt starting from her hand and flinched. 

"Mom, why? "

Nico stood behind her with a small smile on her face. Rose gold electricity  jumped between her fingers and when Shino made a move to open the fridge again electricity  was shot towards her hand. 

"No cake"

"But mom"

"No, you have plenty of other sweets. Leave the cake. If you eat it we won't get you any more for two months"

Shino  paled at the threat and stepped away from the machine. 

"I'm glad we came to an understanding "Nico patted Shino on her head and pecked her on the cheek. 

"Mistress, the Young Master's tutor has arrived for today's lesson" Kinji stood in the doorway looking as neat as ever. Black hair was slicked back and suit was sleek. 

"Thank you Kinji, let him know that we'll be with him soon"

"As you wish"

"I completely forgot about my lessons"Shino sighed as she made her way out the kitchen. 

It was Friday meaning she had martial arts training. It was a lesson she looked forward to most. Martial arts lessons as a four year old weren't that impressive but it was better than nothing. For the time being she only had to learn the basic steps of her four chosen fighting styles. Baby steps as her instructor says. She may not be kicking ass. But she was on her way. 

Martial arts lessons are on Mondays and fridays. On Mondays she had two hours of training while she only had one on Fridays. Her lessons always start at three in the afternoon.  She wished she had more hours of training. She actually enjoyed learning different fighting styles. Her instructor always commended her for her fast learning. She took pride in her ability to learn so quickly. 

An hour flew by pretty quick and soon it was over. Shino was tasked with basic exercises for the week. She had to do a set of ten push ups, pull ups, sit ups, chin ups and squats everyday.

After her martial arts training she had an hour of English lessons and she would be free for the day. On the weekends she has piano, kendo and soccer training. Shino took interest in a lot of things and her parents happily supported her in all of them. Her parents decided that home school would be the best option for her. They were both well known heroes and had collected a number of enemies. Enrolling her into any school was a bad idea. News spread and even if she was kept a secret people would have some way of finding out. Izuku, Katsuki and Sora were in the same boat as her. Their parents were pro heroes that were well known so they needed to be extra cautious. 

Shino found that being home schooled was amazing. She was in her own house and free to eat whenever she wanted to. Her parents made sure she had a tutor for the basic and must need subjects and let Shino choose if there was anything else she wanted to learn. The perks of being homeschooled is that she could learn a lot more than she normally would. A normal four year old would be learning to write and what not. Shino was already getting middle school level math. 

"I wonder how Sora and the others are doing" Shino wonders aloud at the dinning table. 

"You should call them" Nico suggested

"I should shouldn't I? It's been a while"

And so after having dinner with her parents she made her way to her room. She got herself cleaned up for the night before grabbing her tablet and video calling Sora. 

Soon Sora's face appeared on her tablet. He had a huge smile on his face and was shirtless for some reason. As always his orange hair was a mess and his rabbit like bangs hung haphazardly in front of his face. 

"Heeeellooooo"

"Why are you shirtless? "

"No reason"

"Whatever you say. Could you add Katsuki to this call while I add Izuku"

"Sure thing "

In a minute the two mentioned boys were displayed on the screen as well. Each was dressed in their pajamas and seemed ready for bed.

"Yo, guys, guess what" Katsuki had a broad grin on his face and looked as if he knew a great secret. The only time he wore such a look was if he was up to no good. Or he actually did know a great secret. 

"What?" Sora tilted his head to the side and looked genuinely curious. 

"I have some great news too" Izuku perked up. 

"Me first nerd"

"Okay what is it Katsuki"

In reply Katsuki only grinned and brought his hand in sight of the camera. For a few seconds nothing happened, but then there was suddenly a small spark and soon a couple more surfaced. 

"I got my quirk"

"Already huh" Shino pulled a lollipop out her pocket when she started to feel a headache build. "What news do you have Izuku"

"You got your quirk too didn't you? "Sora said with raised eyebrow. 

"I did. I did" Izuku bounced excitedly on his bed and the screen shifted and suddenly went black. There were incoherent sounds and soon Izuku was back on the screen. "Sorry "

"So what's your quirk? "

"I'm pyrokinetic" to prove his statement he lit his hand on fire. The fire soon spread to his wrist and then climbed up his arm. Izuku adopted a look of panic and fell off his bed. The three friends watched and listened to the panic screams as Izuku ran around his room trying to out the fire. 

"He's going to burn his whole house down" Sora snickered. 

Shino only sighed as she watched her youngest friend fall into a state of utter panic. She continued to watch for the next ten minutes until he finally deactivated his quirk. By this point Sora and Katsuki were in a laughing fit while Shino had to stop herself  from suffering the same fate. 

"You ok Izu? "

"Y-yeah"

"Are you sure nerd? "

"Uh-huh"

"You really panicked there"

"I-I...I know"

He fell silent and kept glancing at his arm as if he expected it to catch fire again. 

"So your quirk is pyrokineses"

"Well yeah. But the doctor said that I show dragon like characteristics like dragon lungs, fangs and scales"

"Scales? "

"Yeah, but I don't see them. Apparently they're not visible or something "

Shino was quiet for a moment. Izuku's quirk description seemed very familiar to the dragon slayer magic in Fairy Tail. Specially Natsu's fire dragon slayer magic. She always wondered if a quirk similar to that type of magic existed. 

"Hey Shino, what's with those things on your ears and nose? " Sora asked. He had finally put on a shirt and was munching on some chips. 

"I have to wear them to prevent sensory overload"

"What? Sensory overload? Did you unlock your quirk too? "

"In a way, I guess. Apparently my brain works to it's full potential so I'm always aware of eeverything going on around me. My senses are heightened to the point where they are a hundred times stronger than they should be and my body is continuously producing stem cells. The doctor said that I do have a quirk, but he cannot identify what it is at the moment "

"That's weird"Sora mumbled. "A human's brain should not be capable of working to it's max"

"Yeah, its very dangerous. Have you had any seizures? "Izuku asked. 

"Yeah, a generalized seizure"

"Holy cow your entire brain shut down" For some reason Katsuki said this with a smile and it disturbed Shino. 

"Why are you smiling? "

"For some reason it sounds cool"

"Katsuki you are weird" Shino sighed. "Look at us. We're  a bunch of four year olds having a casual discussion about seizures and brain failures "



"We're geniuses " Sora said with a puffed out chest. "Oh and I unlocked my quirk as well"

Of course Sora would be utterly casual with announcing his quirk. 

"How are you so casual? "

He shrugged and munched on his last bit of chips. "As it turns out I can generate psionic force fields and have psionic manipulation "

"So you gained a tiny part of your mother's psionic powers. Nothing from your father" Katsuki didn't seem all that impressed. 

"Nah. You know how his quirk works. He said that he'll pass it on to me when I'm old enough "

"Why do you get two quirks!? "

"Katsuki calm down. He just happens to be the son of the number one hero couple "

Katsuki grumbled but calmed down. 

"So we all have quirks? "

"Looks like it"

"Well then. We are one tiny step closer to achieving our dreams"

So where do we go after we die? There are a lot of theories on that matter

Most people all over the world assume that the dead move on to the after life. The good people end up in heaven while the bad have to suffer in hell. Others assumed that you just wake up in paradise or something. She even remembered someone saying that maybe you get to watch over the lives of those you love. And others like the Hindus and Buddhists believe in reincarnation. They believed that someone who died with good karma they would be reborn into a good life. Those who did not have good karma end up with a bad life. 

Like any normal anime fan that had read a ton of reincarnation fan fiction of course the thought of being reincarnated into a cool anime world crossed her mind...

Danny looked at the names and the teams submitted by the students before the break. It was quite an interesting combination with the special class opting to split from their usual combination to even out the playing field. On the other hand, the misfits were also doing well with their strategy of gathering those quick with their minds and those good with their minds after Jasper's declaration of the prizes and penalty.
More amusingly, the children had come up with names for their teams that reflected their personality. Danny couldn't think of a better match for these names and snapped a photo of it before forwarding it to the principal. Philip would love the gossips and behind the scenes of this interesting class-bonding activity. It was the main reason why Danny was sent to supervise them.

Danny was a little surprised as to why Samuel was in the group. He was aware that the rest of the members idolised the young writer to varying extents but why did that mysophobic german choose that team?

Danny took a look at the submitted names for the second group and felt like it was no surprise. Jasper's strong leadership and Elfie's expert support would make a good team. It was a rather well-balanced team and Danny's only concern was for Ria who was the only girl present. Would the dancer be able to cope without her sister interacting with a group of boys?

The third team was something that made Danny burst out in laughter. Their team name couldn't be truer. In fact, as Danny ran through the names on this list, he didn't know if he should be worrying how Issac was the only one who didn't count as a dreamer.
He knew how Farid and Jean quarrelled earlier about the position of the leader and Alex was pressured into voting for one of them to be the leader. Eventually, it was decided that the two squabbling students would play a game of rock-paper-scissors to decide. Farid sulked the entire afternoon when Jean won all three games. The counsellor couldn't help but worry about the dynamics of this team.
#4: Team Action First

True to the team's name, Danny felt a headache thinking about Rebecca's strange request to go to the indoor sports hall for their team's lessons. With the exception of jun Le and Vivian, the rest of them were rather athletic and sporty. Danny really didn't want to judge but the term 'muscle heads' came to mind immediately when he heard the request.
Still, he couldn't deny that Dragon learnt best when he was given the chance to move about while learning.
Now that they had their teams, Danny asked each team leader to submit a crash course training program covering all three major modules after the 2-hour compulsory lessons every morning until the date of examination. The teams were discussing it over the break and Danny was excited to know what these kids would come up with.
For the sake of the slower students, Danny had to revise his lesson plans and put into consideration that the students of the special class had different examination papers from the delinquents. Not all of them took the standard papers for their respective ages. Lin Lin, for example, was too young to be skipping years so she was still taking examinations for eight-year-olds. On the other hand, there were academically advanced students like Scarlet, Jasper and Alex who skipped a year and were taking examinations for eleven-year-olds. Nathan was exempted from sitting for Math and Physics examinations etc etc.
"They would need at least three one-to-one study sessions with me during the next two weeks," Danny murmured and drew out a timetable. He couldn't host a general class for the special students and there simply wasn't enough time after school to complete all the individual lessons.
There was only one way to do this and Danny didn't know if it was a good idea to host private tutoring sessions while they tutored the EC class. Danny decided to take the gamble either way. For now, it was the most effective method and anything conventional can be ignored while his students competed against each other.
Lesson plans aside, Danny was secretly thrilled when his son proposed creating a secure chat room for the EC class and the special class. It didn't take long before Elfie became attached to the other kids and it was something Danny was very thankful for. Without the influence of Wilmer's children, Danny didn't know how to give Elfie a somewhat normal childhood memory of school. Thanks to their influence, he was now able to see EWlfie act like his age, sparkling with excitement and running around enthusiastically doing silly things with his new friends.
The friendly rivalry between teams as they passed teasing remarks and poked fun at one another made Danny smile. So far, the mood was good and nobody has started making any toxic remarks or started any form of drama that Danny always saw in the other classes. Rich snobby kids with too much time on their hands tended to do that. Putting other children down seemed to be some kind of mean sport that every rich snobby child participated in. Of course, the school didn't condone such acts but with powerful parents backing such uneducated behaviour, even Philip's hands were tied.
Strange as it may sound, Danny didn't think that the students in the special class and EC class were too different. In fact, they shared more similarities than other people might think. All these were only possible because Jasper decided to take that first step into meddling with the EC class as part of his grand plan.
In times like this, Danny wondered if fate had a heart. Danny tried for years to encourage the misfits but they'd completely shut him out of their world. All it took was for Jasper to make a ridiculous bet to break down that wall they built. the rest was easy after that as Scarlet built a bridge and the special class crossing it to meet the EC class halfway.
Maybe there was nobody else who could understand the pain the EC class felt until the special class came along. Both classes understood what it meant to be different, to not have a place to belong, to crave normalcy and embrace their true selves. Danny envied how easily the children accepted each other's quirks and personality. The teams started out as strangers but now, they were bonding over food, songs, games and even books during their break.
As a counsellor, nothing was more touching than seeing faith in humanity restored. If children could accomplish things that adults couldn't, it would be totally humiliating for adults to not be able to clean up the mess they made. Both he and Wilmer had to buck up if they didn't want to lose to their children.
The feud with Anastasia must be ended by them.

No matter how much Lu Chen wanted to stay by Xiu Mei's side as of now, he still had some important events to attend to which requires his presence. Otherwise, Lu Shao is the one attending in his place. Before it was Xiu Mei's responsibility to appear in that kind of events but with her being injured, she has to pass the baton to Lu Shao as of the moment. 
Now that Xiu Mei has been moved to Lu Chen's house for recovery and security, Lu Qiang can now easily accompany her and attend his lessons at the same time. She already called her family and friends awhile ago, telling them not to visit for now since she wasn't really comfortable with talking so much right now. But she assured them that she's fine and well under the watch of Lu Chen. 
Xiu Mei is can also move on her own now without needing much of other people's help. She might still be a little weaker than normal but walking down the stairs and strolling along the backyard should pose as a problem. 
���Madam, here's your tea." 
"Mm, thanks."
She happily accepted the cup of tea given by the maid and took a quick sip from the cup. The taste of slight bitterness instantly refreshed her tastebuds that had been drinking so much Chinese medicine for weeks. 
Placing the cup back on the saucer, she glanced at Lu Qiang who was sitting a few meters from her. He was sitting on a cushion and was doing his homework on the center table. She could see faintly read the words Lu Qiang was typing in his laptop, and from time to time, she would hear him speak in English. 
She quietly observed the focused form of the little kid. Lu Qiang is in his second year of primary, but since he was being homeschooled coupled with the amazing genius genes of the Lu family, his studies are way more advanced than the ones taught in school. 
Xiu Mei enjoyed watching the little kid learn, but at the same time, she slightly pitied him. After all, Lu Qiang is still a kid. It would be infinitely better if he could interact with kids his age unlike right now, all the people around him are mostly adults and elders. 
She already noticed for quite a while but the little kid would only show his childishness in front of her but when he interacts with others, he may be better than his dad but he's still a lot more mature than the normal children.
Xiu Mei wondered if she should talk with Lu Chen about Lu Qiang's education? She really did not want him to grow so aloof and cold like his Dad, and to prevent that from happening, the little kid should learn how to communicate with kids like him. 
She remembered her first meeting with Lu Qiang on the playground and his soulless eyes at that time. Now that she's by Lu Qiang's side as his stepmother, she did not want to see Lu Qiang being like that anymore. 
Ah, speaking of. It still felt unreal when she woke up this morning, but she is really Mrs.Lu now huh. At least, temporarily. 
Xiu Mei deeply sighed. To think that a few weeks ago, she was still arguing with Lu Chen about marrying him for Lu Qiang's sake and now, she's Mrs.Lu. If she had known she would end up as Mrs.Lu either way, she wouldn't have argued with Lu Chen anymore and wasted so much energy being angry at him. 
"Mom," 
Her trail of thoughts paused when she heard Lu Qiang calling her name. 
"Yes, darling?" 
"Can you help me with this part?" Lu Qiang showed an open page of his workbook and pointed to one of the problems he was trying to figure out. 
Xiu Mei scooted closer to him, taking a look at the workbook he was doing. She skimmed through the problem and tried to remember which topic was this. Hmm… these are functions. This is a bit easier. 
As soon as she grabbed a pen for her to write something, her actions paused when she realized something. Wait… wasn't functions a topic she learned when she was in the last year of primary school? Or was it in middle school? 
She stared agape at Lu Qiang with the realization that Lu Qiang was really learning too advanced from the norm. Why is a seven-year-old kid already studying this topic?! 
Damn, was the kid too much of a genius or was she really just that stupid? 
"Mom?"
"Oh? Ah! Yes, so this is how you do it…" And she quickly went on with teaching Lu Qiang on how to solve that problem. She also helped in teaching some of his logic lessons and English. With Lu Qiang being a quick learner, he was able to learn a lot of information in such a short amount of time. 
Nighttime quickly came and Xiu Mei is now in Lu Qiang's room. The kid originally wanted her to take a rest first at her room but she insisted on putting him to sleep first before resting. Besides, her room...is in the master's bedroom. 
Meaning, since the time she had moved in, Lu Chen and her had been sharing the same bed! 
With Lu Chen's EQ, Xiu Mei is very confident that Lu Chen didn't imply any meaning behind these actions. He would probably just say, "Which husband and wife sleeps separately?" 
Anyways, all she had to do now is tell Lu Chen to give her her own room first once he gets back. Technically, Lu Chen is still at the courting stage of this relationship despite having the little red book in their hands. 
Since Lu Qiang didn't want to tire her mother out, he just convinced her to lie down beside him first as he sleeps. Xiu Mei was very happy to fulfill his wish and quickly squeezed in on his bed. Fixing his covers, Xiu Mei placed her arm over Lu Qiang's body and pulled him near her. Both of them warmed up each other as they cuddled through the night. 
Despite having such long days of slumber, Xiu Mei eventually fell asleep on the bed. She was too deep in sleep that she didn't even realize that someone had entered the room. 
Lu Chen, who had just come home from the tiring event was welcomed by the Butler. Since it was already quite late, he already expected the two to be asleep already but as he was checking out his son's room, he was surprised to see the two people cuddling with each other as they slept so sweetly. He really didn't know whether to laugh or drink vinegar. 
The two of them looked so perfect together as if they were really blood-related. Lu Chen watched them for a little longer before deciding to finally return to the master's bedroom. He gave Lu Qiang a peck on his forehead, something that he would sometimes do when he's checking on Lu Qiang. He pulled the duvet that had slipped off from his body and tucked him properly. 
His gaze moved on to the woman on the other side of the bed. Lu Chen chuckled as he walked around the bed and bent down his body. Slipping his arms behind her neck and knees, he easily princess-carried Xiu Mei. 
Xiu Mei did not wake up at all but instead, she pressed her body closer to the source of warmth that was hugging her. She unconsciously grabbed onto Lu Chen's and reluctantly let go once he laid her down on the king-sized bed. Lu Chen tucked Xiu Mei in under the covers properly before he started washing up to prep himself to bed. 
Lu Chen took a quick shower before finally going to bed. He calmly walked at the other side of the bed that was spacious and slipped inside it. He glanced at Xiu Mei quickly before finally turning off the bedside lamp. 
Lu Chen calmly did those things as if he had been doing it for years. Even when Xiu Mei had been recently moved to his home, he didn't have any problem adapting with the changes of having someone sleeping beside him on his bed. He was able to survive sleeping peacefully in the past 3 days, unaware that starting the day Xiu Mei had woken up from long slumber, his patience and control would be vehemently challenged. 
Just like tonight. Lu Chen already closed his eyes and had almost gone to sleep when he felt the bed move a little until he strongly felt the warmth of someone on his left side. He opened his eyes to check on Xiu Mei but the moment he turned his head on his left, he froze. 
Inches away from his face were Xiu Mei's, her eyes squeezed shut and her mouth were left slightly open. In the dark, he couldn't entirely see her face but the moonlight slipping in from his windows was enough to highlight Xiu Mei's features.
Etherial. Seductive. Captivating. 


"Be my son's mother." 

He stated as he pushed the marriage form in front of her. 

"Marry me."
As his secretary, she was used to his glares but this time, his stare felt like he was gobbling her up into his stomach. 
It was hypnotizing yet, she didn't fall for it.

Anger filled her up as she stood her ground. 
"I refuse." 

His gaze hardened as the both of them stared at each other. Slowly, he rose from his seat and held her chin.

"You won't be able to escape. You're mine." 

She slapped his hand away and stood up.

"We'll see about that." She made her way to the door and left the room.

"Alright, class" Ms. Smith clapped her hands to get her students' attention, "I know you're excited for the new semester. Reading and analyzing books, writing reports, pop quizzes… loads of fun!"

Alex plucked out her earphones and placed them inside her jean pocket, followed by her phone. She tucked her hands inside her gray hoodie's arm holes. She slid her bottom closer to the edge of the chair and slumped against the backrest. She had her right ankle placed above her left knee.

Unlike her, the rest of the students began to groan. 

Ms. Smith cackled. She had predicted the same reaction and none of them could dampen her mood. Her voice remained loud and cheery, "But! We'll be kicking it off with a bang! So, new project!"

On the first day of their Junior Year, the class erupted in surprise and in complaints. They had expected to do nothing. Normally, teachers would brief about classroom rules and about the coming lessons but after that, they let the students have some free time until the end of the class. Now, here they were about to receive their first project.

Safe to say, none of them looked forward to it.

Alex rolled her eyes. Teachers always gave projects. From what she heard, Ms. Smith happened to be the only one who gave the major project at the start of the year. The rest of the faculty liked to hand them out at the end of the year. That meant the students had one less major project to cram in the few weeks left of school.

Why didn't they understand that?

"Oh, shush!" Ms. Smith stomped down any protests and wrote on the board. Her curly hair swayed with her movement, "I do know a thing or two about teenage classic favorites. So far, the most popular would have to be Romeo and Juliet."

At that, a few girls squealed and gushed about the movie adaptation with Leonardo DiCaprio. Alex shook her head. Of course, it had to be Romeo and Juliet. That play happened to be every English teacher's favorite topic.

At least, that had been her observation.

Meanwhile, the male students mocked the fangirls for being so cheesy.

"You guys are just jealous because you would never be as good as Leo" a girl scoffed in their direction.

"Who even wants to be like Leo? Didn't you see how long it took before he won an Oscar?" The boy next to her snickered, "Besides, Romeo? Really? The guy was such a nerd, speaking in poems and crap."

"Oh, don't give me that." Ms. Smith interrupted, "Don't act like you haven't used this classic in any way to pick up girls."

The boy merely rolled his eyes in answer.

"It's not like that, Ms. Smith. Who needs Romeo when I'm around?" Max, a basketball jock, announced to the room. A few girls laughed while some boys threw paper balls at him. The guy deserved some credit for that confidence but he deserved a knock in the brain more like any other playboy.

"Ah, Max" Ms. Smith sighed, "Maybe you could turn that into good use for this assignment."

"Oh, yeah? Am I gonna get an A?"

"Sure, if you can pull off playing Juliet."

"What?"

Ms. Smith ignored him and addressed the whole class, "Now, here's the project. All of you will be divided into two pairs, one boy and one girl. Each pair would choose a part to role play. Each scene must consist of one female character and one that is male. It doesn't necessarily have to be Romeo and Juliet unless you have the guts because... the catch? The catch is cross-dressing."

Alex scrunched her eyebrows. A project done in pairs? And with cross-dressing? That sounded like a double blow. Around her, murmurs started to fill the air. It seemed like she wasn't the only one who had troubled thoughts about the project.

Ms. Smith grinned at the sudden change. She may be in a room full of teenagers that thought they already knew everything about life but she could overpower their mischief any day, "That's right. The female would be the male character and the male will be the female one. You have a week to prepare. Props are allowed but make-up and costume is a must. Don't be cowards, gentleman, this play was created during a time when only men performed in the theater. If you're a real man, you'd be able to pull this off."

The boy from earlier turned to the girl next to him, his eyes filled with horror. The girl saw him move from the corner of her eye. On reflex, she also looked over his direction with the same expression on her face.
He said, "I'm gonna be Juliet?"

"And I'm gonna be Romeo?" She shot back. 

Ms. Smith's perked up at their conversation. She walked over to them and placed a hand on their backs, making both students jump in surprise.

She smiled at them, "I'm glad to see your enthusiasm. You two will be the first pair for the project."

The two students gulped. They glanced at her only once before they shared another silent conversation with each other.

"Any questions?" She provoked. Ms. Smith's smile was friendly but neither of them spoke up. She had a way with people that made it almost impossible to reject her.

"Sorry for being late, Ms. Smith. Am I in trouble?"

All eyes turned towards the door. A male student stood by the door with his disheveled dark hair and a backpack on one shoulder. Ms. Smith let the two students go and walked back to the front of the class. 

She stared at the newcomer with calculating eyes, "Well, well, Logan. I do not tolerate tardiness but there will be no detention for you."

"Whoo, thank you, Ms. Smith" Logan sighed in relief. He tried to smile but Ms. Smith's eyes made it hard for him to do so. They pierced through him like he hadn't gotten out of trouble yet.

"But…"

"But?" The word came out with a hint of fear. Logan cursed in his mind. He knew it had been too good to be true. Did another punishment exist worse than detention? Hopefully, there wasn't so he'd have nothing to worry about.

"But you can't go unpunished. Instead, I'm taking your lateness as your consent to volunteer"

"Volunteer?"

"We have an assignment and it calls for a pair composed of one boy and one girl. Unfortunately, our class' female and male students aren't equal. Two boys would have to be one pair."

The class erupted in laughter, considering the egos men—even blossoming young adults—had plus the idea of two guys forced to act intimate was just plain comical. If Logan was lucky enough, he'd be paired up with a friend and it would be easier for him.

"Ah, gee, Ms. Smith. Do I have to?" Logan scratched the back of his head, his ears tinted pink. He didn't dare to look at the rest of the class. He just had to be late for his first day of school. This was just perfect.

"Yes, Logan, but don't worry. I'll pick out the best partner for you so don't be too upset."

"Ooo—pick me, Ms. Smith. Logan and I could do some loving" Max naturally offered. He turned in his seat to fake make out with himself. He wrapped his arms around his own torso and wiggled. 

Logan already felt terrified—even if he could only see Max' back.

"Ew, that's disgusting, Max" Lauren, the girl behind him, said. She sat in the wild zone where Max's kissy face was only inches away from her.

He dropped it immediately and smirked, "So you try to say, baby, but I know you want some."

Lauren gripped the pen in her pocket and aimed it at him, "Want me to skin you alive, pervert?"

"I like to see you try, snookums."

Before anything else could happen, Ms. Smith ceased the fire, "Alright, that's enough and, no, Max. I already had someone in my mind for Logan's partner."

Max, with his drama queen attitude, clutched his wounded heart and asked, "Who?"

Ms. Smith smiled. Then, her eyes scanned the room. She looked at each student. She watched as the faces she gazed on turned pale. It amused her to see how the boys pretended not to be nervous until she made eye contact with but... only one student met her interest and that student happened to sit at the very back.

She had only heard rumors about this student before. Since she taught juniors, she hadn't had the chance to meet the student until today. 

From her viewpoint, she could tell that the student had a small face and a fair complexion. She could see a pair of stunning gray eyes barely peeking out underneath cropped black hair. With the gray hoodie on, the student looked like a character from a black and white film.

Out of all the students Ms. Smith looked at, this one didn't avoid her stare.
Dread filled Alex's mind. The moment Ms. Smith talked about the perfect partner, her flesh had turned into stone. She noticed the innuendo of the statement right away.

Unlike what Ms. Smith had said earlier, the class actually had an equal number of male and female students. What the rest didn't know was that one of the 'male' students happened to be a female. The project called for one boy and one girl, it made sense that Ms. Smith would pick this 'male' student.

When Ms. Smith smiled, Alex's veins turned into ice. 

"Alex, you'll be Logan's partner."

Forget about what she said earlier, this project turned out to be a triple blow.

Nao retrieved the English book from the women's tent and returned outside.

Gori had already taken a seat on the log by the fire. Remembering how it had felt to sit close to him, Nao approached slowly.

Was she going to continue this? It was more than just language lessons. She knew that.

She stopped in her tracks.

Gori was watching her, waiting. She could see the clear blue of his eyes, the hard cut of his jaw, the tension in his shoulders.

He always seemed to be watching her, didn't he?

His eyebrow lifted and he beckoned to her with his hand.

She couldn't help feeling a bit trapped.

But another feeling, deep and warm through her middle, told her being trapped by this man would be amazing.

Nao approached again, Gori's eyes on her the whole way.

To her relief, they got right to work, and Gori was more determined than ever.

They looked through her book and took turns saying the translations aloud. He had certain words he wanted translated: please, thank you and you're welcome, man and woman, who and what, go and come.

He wrote phonetic spellings of Japanese words in his book, and Nao motioned for it, enunciating each syllable and writing the correct character with the black stick.

It was fun to use. No ink required!

"Arigatou," he repeated.

"Hai."

"Arigatou, Nao. Nihongo."

Her face heated. "Nn. Douitashimasite. You arre werucomu."

"Well," he pronounced clearly. "Cum."

"Werr—"

"Lll!"

She twisted her mouth at him, making him smirk in that dangerous way. "Welllcumu. Nn. Welllcumm!"

"Hai!" he affirmed proudly. His teeth were bared in a confident, attractive smile.

She wanted to kiss him.

Blushing hard, she looked away.

"Nani?" he asked.

Even if she knew how, it wasn't something she could tell him. If she could, she had a feeling he would tease her. The strangest thing was that she wanted him to.

He watched her curiously. "What?" he whispered.

She dragged her finger diagonally down her lips, much the way she'd dragged her finger through his drawing of a wife yesterday.

Did he understand that she couldn't say?

He repeated the gesture, dragging his finger across lips that suddenly looked incredibly soft. "Hai."

He thought he understood, then. Nao wondered if he really did.

They continued working until, once again, they were the last outside other than the guards.

He gestured for the English book, and when she passed it, he opened it to the very back and wrote something in that still mysterious alphabet.

She looked up, a question in her eyes.

He dragged his finger across his smiling mouth.

Her heart pounded in her ears.

Before he could get away, Nao took his book and stick and wrote in the back: I wanted to kiss you.

Then, blushing furiously, she passed it back.

Gori studied the characters, but of course, there was no way he could read them.

Nao is a quiet, well-behaved, young woman, working hard to maintain the warrior camp of her father and brother.

Gyuri is the warrior responsible for saving the men of Nao's camp. He's huge, strong, and doesn't speak the language.

He seems to have no interest in the women in camp.

Except Nao.

After the break is almoast done.

Joanne come back to class pretty early. Plus all of my friends are going to the toilet and haven't come back yet, so there is only me and her in the class.

She come to her spot preparing her books for the next class. I do really want to have a chat with her so I came up with an idea.

"Hey" I called her.

She looked at me with those sharp brown eyes. In that moment I suddenly forgot what i want to say to her.

"Uh, ah, what is your name?" I asked. Stupid! She just introduced herself several sections ago, in that moment I cursed myself.

"I assume that I already give my name, but I will repeat it once more, my name is Joanne Clare and you can call me Joanne" She said coldly. Then she turn back and face her book.

Great! Now I lost my chance to talk with her, so I just waiting Kaleb and others to come in. The moment they came in, the bell rang.

"Hey, how you doin'? Why your face like that?" Kaleb says.

"Nothing, I thought that I forgot something" I said.

Then I suddenly notice something. Rick Hart, one of my friend that usualy have his hair bright yellow, with black eyes, short and wear glasses. Suddenly he has red hair with blue eyes and without any glasses.

"Did you use softlens? And when did you dye your hair?" I asked.

"What? I look like this since morning, how come you didn't notice me?!" Rick said

"Well? Maybe because you are to short" I reply.

Then Rick become mad but I heard a giggle and I bet it is from Joanne.

"Yes? Something wrong Joanne?" I asked her.

She didn't say anything and she act like that she didn't hear it but her giggle stop.

Well, I know it's to good to be true for her to like me too. Then the classes started so I and my other friend prepare our book for next lesson.

Our next class was math, it was taught by ms. Cole, she was a young women which prefer to taught us by the "learn by playing" technique. Regardless any way of teaching or the teacher I like math I mean how come people prefer physics, chemistry or other lesson more than math?

My point was, math was more easier than those lessons because you only need to use your logic than count several numbers and Boom! You got the answer.

So back to the class. In the class our teacher just review last week lessons about logarithm. I know I'm not that smart but I do think this one was fun and easy but the others doesn't think so.

I want to see how smart Joanne is, she was quite passive in the class, she didn't asked any question to the teacher. I dont know whether she is that smart to understand or to shy to ask since she was new to this school. Then the teacher give us exercise to do, in her class when we given an exercise to do. We can discuss it with our friend, and Kaleb was discussing it with Rick and Jojo, Jojo Chuck is my newest best friend in school. He is Indonesian, with black hair and black eyes, his skin was brown. But he moved to Boston since 10 years ago. Then they weren't notice me so I try to acted cool and asked Joanne

"Hey, need some help?" I asked.

She didn't immediately answer me, after several seconds she writing she says shortly "No thanks". Then he focused on her exercise again.

Phew, no luck for me. Now I know she is smart, since she was writing it non-stop. What a perfect girl, I wonder how I make friend with her.

Then suddenly my "gang" called me and asking me to help over. Ofcourse I help them, I mean I'm a generous person.

An hour pass and the lesson is already done. We move to our subject and it is Chemistry, the lesson that I hate the most.

The teacher who taught us were mr. John. He is the most boring teacher I ever seen, he always put a message that says "Chemistry = chem-is-try" in every test paper he give to us. But many says that he is a thoughtful teacher. He is kind and other.

Then in the middle of his lessons he asked me randomly out of the blue. "Jake, what is the name for H2O?", I was not ready and I said "silver?". Then everybody start laughing including my friends and Joanne. Then mr. Paul says "you are wrong Jack learn more about periodic table" then the other start laughing again.

Than in that moment I start thinking again, "how will my friend thinks?" , "what will Joanne think about me?" , "Will she call me stupid?". Then other thoughts.

I felt dreadful until the end of the lessons. Then we move to English lesson, the last subject before lunch. I felt relive because of that.

We study like usual nothing special then it is lunch time. 

"We will go to the canteen to buy lunch first okay?" Rick says.

"Okay" I say shortly.

In the class there is only me and Joanne AGAIN, I just eating my lunch and she didnt eat anything and she only read a book.

"Are you not going to have lunch?" I asked her.

"No" she reply shortly.

"Why?" I asked back.

"Im having a diet" she said.

"Oh, okay" I reply. Then im out of topic then suddenly she close her book than say.

"You know? You are funny enough in the chemistry class, and you seem really want know me, so, what is your name?" She said.

"Jake, Jake Cravy that is my name and you can call me Jake" I say with a smile.

She smile and then she reply "nice to meet you".

With that only simple moment I was very happy and give me an extra boost of mood and energy until the end of the school.

Ring! Ring! My alarm clock goes off.
"Ugghhhh." I groan.
I still get up in a rush and brush my teeth then get dressed pack my lunch and get my bag and run out skipping breakfast. I get on the school bus and I go to school with ten minutes to spare.
"Hey Reo!" I wave to my bestfriend.
"Oh hey Takeo!"He waves back. As I run over to him. But when I get there he points somewhere and I look to see what he's pointing at.
"Dude your girl is cheating again." He says angrily.
"I know man....." I try to chuckle but fail hardcore.
"Dude why can't you just leave her already?!" He shouts.
"I'm sorry man but I have hella feelings for her." I say looking at the ground trying to smile.
"Dude I'm trying to help you but you wont listen!" He yells at me.
I suddenly see my girlfriend Amber running towards us and Reo scowls at her looking annoyed.
"Hey babe!"She says with a fake smile.
"Heh heh hey." I try and smile.
"Can I borrow $200?" She asks.
"Yeah sure."I hand her the money.
I'm the richest guy at school because my dad is one of the most successful businessmen in town. Not to brag but I'm going to be the next CEO of the company when I turn eighteen and become independent. As for my mum? She stays at home to take care of me. My dad is barely ever around so I feel bad for her she's pretty lonely.
"Hey man. If you want Amber's real attention you should make her beg for it." My friend Reo says.
I look up at him to see a mischievous grin on his face.
"Dude if you want her to try and get your attention you should ignore her,talk to other girls make her worried you'll find another girl man." Reo says.
"I suppose I could try."I sigh.
I start to walk towards my locker to grab some books so I don't have to do it in between lessons. When I suddenly bump into a pretty cute girl who I think is from my class she's one of the shy ones. She has medium blonde hair and blue eyes as adorable as a puppy. Shes really cute. I think to myself.
"Oh I'm sorry do you need help?" I smile at her and give her my hand. She looks at me shyly and hesitantly takes my hand.
"Are you ok Akira?" I ask her.
"Y-Yeah I-I am Takeo...."She mumbles quietly I can barely hear her.
"Well I see you at class!" I say and wave at her she waves back after a few seconds.
I see my best friend Reo approaching me with some papers in his hand.
"Hey man look! One of the student council is going to transfer schools and since you're the student council you're going to pick a new student council!" He says.
"Ehh alright." I say still thinking about Akira and how cute she was.
"Hey man are you ok? Did you meet another cute girl?"He winks.
"Actually yeah I did it's Akira from my class you know class 1-A."
"Oh yeah dude! I'm getting transferred to class 1-A because I'm now really smart!" Reo glows with happiness.
I suddenly feel a light pull on my sleeve I look to see who it is and see Akira pulling on my sleeve.
"Can I help you Akira?" I ask her.
"Y-You dropped y-your homework from l-last night." She mumbles and hands me the homework.
"Wow thanks Akira!" I smile brightly at her and she goes a little red and looks away.
"S-So see you at class." She mumbles and walks away.
"Wow she is pretty cute,intelligent and nice! You got yourself a good catch man." Reo winks at me.
"Haha I hope!" I chuckle.
RINNNNGGGG!!! The school bell goes.
"Well let's go to class man!" Reo says
"Alright!"I say back.
"Class who can answer the question on the bored?" Our homeroom teacher Mr.Tullin says.6÷2 (1 + 2) =?
Everybody is silent and they look a bit shocked when I raise my hand.
"Yes Takeo?" Mr.Tullin asks.
"Nine sir!" I answer.
"Correct! Takeo good job!" The teacher claps and so does the rest of the class I even notice Akira clapping and I smile.
The lesson continues for an hour before we go for our next class english. I walk through the halls heading to my next class when I see my girlfriend Amber. She noticing me too and looks like shes about to say something but I just walk past her. She looks a but shocked but carries on talking to her friends. I keep walking when I suddenly bang into something and fall off my feet.
"Oof!" I say while falling.
"A-Ah! Sorry T-Takeo!" I see Akira looking at me shy and concerned at the same time it was actually pretty cute.
"Its ok I'm fine Akira. Are you ok?" I smile her. She blushes and looks away.
"Y-Yeah I-I'm good." She mumbles.
I stand up I give her my hand. She takes it and blushes more.
"So would you like to sit with me during lunch?" I ask.
"E-Eh? M-Me?" She says.
"Yeah!" I smile at her.
"W-Well s-sure if your friends don't mind." She mumbles.
"They won't. They're really nice people!" I give her a reassuring look and for once I actually see her smile just a bit.
RINNNGGGG! The school bell goes.
"Well let's walk to class together!" I smile at her.
"S-Sure." She says.
We walk done the halls to our english class. We mostly have the same schedule so we can walk together most of the time
"Ok class let's start with a simple one." Mrs.Quin says writing something on the board. If you didn't know I'm top of my class and the teachers love me a lot. I'm excited for my future job but I still want to go to university.
"Class can you see the mistakes in this sentence?" Mrs.Quin says.
