Hiccup, Anna, Kristoph, and the dragons trekked up a mountain peak. 

Anna turned to look at the landscape, she gasped when she spotted Arrendale down on the coast frozen solid.

" Arrendale." Kristoph and Hiccup stood behind her.

" It's completely frozen," Kristoph stated looking shocked, Hiccup gasped he had never seen such power before.

" It will be fine Elsa will thaw it." Hiccup said filling with hope, knowing she could.

" That's right she will." Anna agreed with him. Kristoph looked at the two of them.

" Will she?" He asked he wasn't too sure that Elsa would.

" Now come, this way to the north mountain?" Anna asked him while pointing in a direction.

" Anna it's more like that way." Hiccup told her while the trio looked up at a rock sticking up out of the cloud cover. 

                      ~ Line Break ~ 

A waterfall was frozen solid, it draped down a cliff and into a pond at its base. 

Pine and willow trees surrounded it, making the most beautiful landscape.

Toothless, Sven, and Stormfly ran through the willow trees looking up at the crystals hanging from the leaves. 

Kristoph ran his hand through the vines and made a tinkling sound. 

Sven, Toothless and Stormfly looked at each other with a smirk and began jumping around making more noise.

Liry just rolled her eyes at the three of them, sometimes she felt so much like the mum of the group. 

Anna, Hiccup, and Kristoph slowly walked further into the grove gaping at the beauty, Sven, Toothless, and Stormfly cane up behind them covered in willow vines. 

" I didn't know winter could be so beautiful." Anna exclaimed gaping to the trees. 

Suddenly a voice echoed behind them, they looked at the dragons, but they just shrugged.

" Yeah, it really is beautiful isn't it, but it so white." Anna, Hiccup, and Kristoph walked a few steps forward.

" How about some colour, I'm thinking crimson, chartreuse, oh yellow." A snowman walked up behind them and gasped.

" No not yellow, yellow and snow, ah no go." The snowman walked between the dragons and stood in the middle of the group.

" Am I right?" He asked the three humans. 

" Ah!" Anna screamed and kicked its head off the body as he landed in Hiccup's hands.

" Hi." The snowman said to him, Hiccup looked at him.

" Your creepy." He threw the head at Kristoph, who threw it to Anna.

" I don't want it!" She said throwing it back at Kristoph.

" Come on it's just a head." Kristoph chucked it to Hiccup who soon noticed the body moving towards him.

" Eww the body." Anna screamed as Hiccup threw the head back at the body sending it into a snowbank. 

" Oh, ok I think we got off to a bad start." The snowman said as he got up, Hiccup realised his head was upside down.

" Wait what am I looking at right now, why are you hanging off the earth like a bat?" He asked as Hiccup walked towards him.

" Ok hang on, wait one second." Hiccup spun his head around and sat it the right way up.

" Hiccup you do realise you're talking to a snowman right." Anna asked him.

" Anna, I've lived with dragons my whole life, I think a talking snowman isn't that bad." He said back to her. 

The snowman looked at Hiccup and smiled.

" Oh thank-you, now I'm perfect." Anna giggled and pulled a carrot out of her bag.

" Well almost." She tried placing the carrot just on his nose, but he turned around and the carrot went straight his head with only the very tip sticking out.

Hiccup and Kristoph winced at the pain the snowman must feel.

" Are you ok?" Anna asked while hoping to fix it.

" Are you kidding, I always wanted a nose, look at it it's like a tiny baby bean." Hiccup put his hand on the back end of the carrot and pushed it through his head.

" Oh, hey, what, whoa." The Olaf tried to stop Hiccup.

" Oh, I love it even more, ah, ok let's start over." Olaf slapped his hands to his side.

" Hi everyone, I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs." He happily chirped holding out his arms.

" Wait, Olaf?" Anna looked at him, Hiccup had a memory flash through his head of him, Elsa, and Anna playing in the ballroom with the snowman.

Olaf held his arms out further, knowing she remembers him somehow.

" That's right, Olaf, "Anna stated happily.

" And you are?" Olaf asked Anna.

" Oh, I'm Anna." Anna said.

" I'm Hiccup, this is Toothless, Liry, and Stormfly." Hiccup gestured to the dragons, Liry was intrigued by the talking snowman and began sniffing him.

" Oh well aren't you an interesting creature." The snowman said patting Liry on the nose, the dragon reared back and growled.

" Liry don't hurt him." Hiccup told the female, who huffed sitting next to her mate.

" And who's the funky looking donkey over there?" Olaf questioned Anna and Hiccup.

" That's Sven." Anna told him.

" And who's the reindeer?" Olaf asked again referring to Sven.

" Um that's Sven." Hiccup snickered, this was priceless.

" Oh well that makes things easier for me." Sven launched forward trying to bite Olaf's carrot nose.

" Ah, look at him trying to kiss my nose. I like you to." He said pointing at the hungry reindeer. 

" Olaf, did Elsa build you?" Hiccup asked leaning down to him. 

Kristoph grabbed one of the snowman's arms inspecting it.

" Yeah, why?" Olaf said with a smile.

" Do you know where she is?" Anna asked eager to get an answer. 

" Yeah, why?" The snowman said again. 

" Do you think you could show us the way?" Hiccup asked him hoping to see Elsa again. 

" Yeah, why?" Olaf said.

" How does this work?" Kristoph questioned as the wooden hand slapped him across the face. 

" Stop it, Sven, trying to focus here." Olaf took his arm back.

" Yeah, why?" Hiccup sighed and clenched the bridge of his nose. 

" Look I'll tell you why, we need Elsa to bring back summer." Hiccup told him. 
Olaf got all happy and gasped.

" Summer, oh I don't know why but I've always loved the idea of summer, sun, and all things hot." He said making a face. 

" Really, I'm guessing you don't have many experiences with things to do with heat?" Kristoph questioned him, Olaf stared blankly at him.

" Nope, but sometimes I like to close my eyes and imagine what it would be like when summer does come." He closed his eyes and he was soon standing in a field of dandelions. 

                    ~ Que singing ~ 

" The bees will buzz, kids will blow dandelion fuzz and I'll be doing whatever snow does in summer." Olaf waved his arms in the air as the bees flew by.

He picked up a dandelion and spun it around as the seeds flew away. 

He danced down the hill shaking his hands to the tune.

" A drink in my hand, my snow up against the burning sand, probably getting gorgeously tanned in summer." Olaf was lounging on a beach chair wearing sunglasses, holding a glass of lemonade. 

He closed the umbrella that was opened above him and pulled out a tanning mirror letting the sun rays hit his face. 

" I'll finally see a summer breeze, blow away a winter storm and find out what happens to solid water when it gets warm!" He lay out on a boat looking up at the sky and threw his sunglasses into the water. 

He then jumped into the ocean as his body separated. 

" I can't wait to see, what my buddies all think of me." He floated down to a beach.

" Just imagine how much cooler I'll be in summer." A seagull flew beside him and flung a hat and walking stick into his hands.

"Dah dah, da doo, uh bah bah bah bah bah woo" a flock of seagulls all wearing hats and carrying walking sticks danced alongside the snowman in sink. 

" The hot and the cold are both so intense, put them together it just makes sense!" Olaf was sitting in a hot tub holding a mug of hot chocolate and chinked it with another snowman. 

" Rrr Raht da daht dah dah dah dah dah do." the same seagulls danced behind Olaf clicking their wings.

" Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle, but put me in summer and I'll be a - happy snowman!" Olaf ran down a path then paused at a puddle staring at it for a few seconds, he jumped over it and ran up a hill.

" When life gets rough, I like to hold on to my dream, of relaxing in the summer sun, just lettin' off steam." He flung a checked blanket onto the grass and stretched out on it.

" Oh the sky will be blue, and you guys will be there too." Olaf looked back at Anna, Hiccup, and Kristoph.

" When I finally do what frozen things do in summer." He rolled down the hill and jumped into the air.

" I'm going to tell him." Kristoph smirked, Hiccup elbowed him and Anna hit him.

" Don't you dare." Anna said sternly.

" Yeah man don't ruin the moment." Hiccup and Anna walked after him.

" In summer!" Olaf ran and Anna, Hiccup, Sven, and the dragons followed. 

Toothless flung the snowman up onto his head and began bounding around.

" So come on Elsa's this way." He pointed north as Toothless ran.

" Let's go bring back summer!" He shouted excitedly. 

Kristoph stalled for a few seconds dumbfounded.

" Somebodies got to tell him?" He questioned as he picked up his bags and followed after them.

King Agnar and Queen Iduna of Arrendale had been inspecting new ships added to their fleet when a fisherman brings a large basket to them saying he found it tangled in his fishing nets north of the kingdom. 

The King and Queen are shocked to find and small baby wrapped in cloths alive and well inside the basket. 

They soon discover that this child is no ordinary baby and he is, in fact, the long-awaited Dragon Prince. 

The King and Queen decide to keep the child until they can get word to whoever may be looking for the child. 

Four years past and the King and Queen welcome their second daughter into the world. 

Elsa, Hiccup, and Anna have become like siblings, but it is not to last. 

One night a flock of Dragons arrive in Arrendale and demand that the Prince be handed over to them.

Elsa and Anna are saddened that their "brother" has to leave, but their parents knew this day would come. 

The dragons leave and Elsa was never the same after that day, her powers soon started to become uncontrollable and erratic. 

Twenty years later Elsa is crowned Queen and she meets and a man who she can't help but feel could be her long lost love. 

Will Elsa and Hiccup be able to recognise each other or not.

After all of the equipment was distributed, all was left to give out were random ETC items including [Skill Point Crystal], [Advance Aura Stone], a few [Level 8 Gemstone], and a few skill books.
Zhang Yang did not participate in the roll for the [Skill Point Crystals] and the [Aura Stone] for he already had more than enough.
"Hue..? What's this [Aura Skill Book]?" said Wei Yan Er as she picked up a red leather-bound book.
[Skill Book: Burning Aura]
Use: Teaches you the skill {Burning Aura}.

"It's an aura book. Dimwit!" Zhang Yang pinched Wei Yan Er's cheek and said, "Alright, those with their aura skills maxed out are forbidden from rolling for this. Please allow your juniors to have a chance."
Everyone else rolled for the skill book and it was won over by Lost Dream. Even though he was part of the main party, he had not invested a single skill point in his aura skill, even though it would not stack with Sun Xin Yu's.
[Burning Aura] (Level 1): Unleashes an aura 30 meters around the user to deal 10,500 Fire damage every 10 seconds. (Damage will increase with both Skill Level and Player's Level). Player can only have one Aura skill active.
There were more than enough Aura Stones of all tiers for Lost Dream to use. Plus, the few [Advanced Aura Stone] that were dropped by the boss were all given to Lost Dream to pump his Aura skill up. Lost Dream went back to town and had his skill maxed out before posting the skill to the party channel.
[Burning Aura] (Level 10): Unleashes an aura 30 meters around the user to deal 105,000 Fire damage every 10 seconds. (Damage will increase with both Skill Level and Player's Level). Player can only have one Aura skill active.
Unlike {Vitality Aura} or {Strength Aura}, Lost Dream's {Burning Aura} was not a party boosting aura effect. It was an offensive aura which could increase his overall DPS by 10,000. Naturally, the intensity of the skill will be enhanced if Lost Dream is in the middle of a swarm of monsters. That being said, he will also be the first target to be eliminated in a GvG war.
"Wuuuhuuu…I want that aura as well!" said Wei Yan Er after knowing its prowess in a fight with multiple targets.
Zhang Yang came over to her and made a pinching hand gesture to scare her. "Rather than standing in the middle and doing nothing, you'd be better off using your stronger {Strength Aura}!"
Wei Yan Er's {Strength Aura} increases all allies' Strength attribute by 20%. For Physical attack class, that was a boost of 10% DPS or more, even. The more allies she has around her, the stronger the effect would be, in terms of overall DPS. {Burning Aura} was different, rather than surrounding yourself with allies, {Burning Aura}'s effect will only stand out if Lost Dream surrounds himself with enemies. Both auras were strong and their own way and in different circumstances.
After Zhang Yang collected the quest item [Fire Essence Pearl], he led everyone to the next objective. There were no breaks in-between. The entire party rode down the volcanic mountain and headed next to the neighbor snowy mountain. They had only taken less than an hour to reach their destination, for they were lucky enough to not encounter any monsters during the journey.
'Ding! You have received the effect of {Frostbite Aura}!'
Once they left the foothill of the fiery mountain and stepped onto the first pile of snow, the {Burning Aura} on them disappeared and was replaced with another DoT effect.
[Frostbite Aura]: Receive 50,000 Frost damage every 3 seconds.
At that point, the prowess of the two Phoenixes had dropped exponentially. Due to the elemental conflict, they received additional damage. Zhang Yang and Fatty Han hopped onto the mounts to help reduce the load on the healers. After advancing for a bit, they encountered the first of the snowy monsters.
As expected, it was a snowman. Or rather, a huge monkey-like monster with thick white fur that stood on its hind legs like a gorilla. It looked rather cute when it moved around, exposing its belly whilst scratching its head with a massive hand. However, when it picked up a long spear of ice on the ground, its cuteness was immediately shattered.
[Guardian Snowman] (Elite, Elemental Being)

[Frost Arrow]: Launches a long arrow made of pure ice and deals 200% Magic Frost damage to a target. Slows targets for 50% movement speed. Last for 5 seconds. Casting: 2 seconds.
Note: The Guardian Snowmen are the creation of the Ice Lord Antoine. They were created to patrol and to secure his domains.
Similar to the previous fire monsters, the Guardian Snowman were all walking in a group of 8. However, since they were all magic type monsters, they would start chanting their spells from a great distance and launch 8 long ice arrows, or rather spears towards the party.
Luckily, monster count was only 8 at a time. If the number were to increase to 12, one single wave of attack would immediately kill players with lower tier equipment like Cheng Xue Yao.
Zhang Yang, Endless Starlight, and Ten Dusk took the lead, each taking on a few monsters to their limit. Zhang Yang went ahead and kited four to allow the other two tanks to have a better time at tanking. With his current Defensive ability, each attack will deal around 80,000, 4 of them would be 320,000 damage. Although the DPS of the monster attacking Zhang Yang was around 160,000, it was a number which Han Ying Xue could heal easily.
As per the rules of gaming, magic type monsters or players will naturally have lower defense and HP as to compensate their powerful destructive attack. Unfortunately, the monsters were all Elite tier, hence, both their attack and defense were high enough to create a problem! They were as tanky as a physical attack monster!
Still, Zhang Yang's party was the anomaly among all parties in the world. In a few seconds, the entire group of 8 Guardian Snowman were all reduced to a pile of lifeless snow. 
"Aww Yis! There are set equipment!" cried Wei Yan Er as she picked up a long, translucent, one-piece dress.

"Hmm. If each of the set equipment has a 10% Frost attack reduction, the total Frost Reduction gained from equipping all three sets will be 50%." Said Daffodil Daydream.
"Since the boss will undoubtedly use Frost Attacks, we should gather a few more sets to reduce the attack of the boss," said Hundred Shots.
"It's a wise move. Even though they are only Ethereal tier equipment, three of them would not reduce our overall attack by much."
Zhang Yang nodded and "dumped" the dress to Han Ying Xue. All Cloth Armor will be handed to her in the future while Leather Armor will be taken care by Hundred Shots. All Heavy Armor will be in his hands. If the boss does have too high of a damage, they might actually need the set equipment to survive.
 The party continued through the thick snow mountain. They managed to haul more of those sets after a few encounters with many groups of Snowmen. Although the drop rate was not too good, they would not have trouble farming more of them, since the snowy mountain was just too huge. There are bound to be more Snowman groups patrolling around. The problem was that the monsters used magic attacks. Zhang Yang nor the other tanks dared to kite too many at a time. At most, Zhang Yang would take 5 while Endless Starlight took 3, and Ten Dusk took 2.
As such, the hiking speed was extremely slow. The party had taken more than 20 days to find their way to the peak of the snowy mountain and find the boss, the Frost Lord, Antoine.
Despite being a boss, it was only a 30 meter tall, larger Snowman. Somehow, due to is nature as a Snowman, its massive building-like size was a little cute. The boss was wielding a long white magic staff instead of the snow spears.

[Fire Beacon]: Randomly inflicts 100,000 Fire damage every 3 seconds to a random target. Lasts for 15 seconds. [Fire Beacon] will dispel the effect of [Cold of the Bone] Frozen effect. Targets that are released from Frozen effect by this skill will gain an effect of [Beacon's Radiance], dispelling all targets that are Frozen within 20 meters.
[Frost Arrow]: Deals 200% Magic Frost damage to a target. Gains 100% Critical strike rate whenever used against Frozen targets. Casting: 2 seconds.
Note: The King of Ice, Snow, and Frost. Birth from the Ice Essence Pearl after absorbing all the essence from the Water Elementals on the mountain.
"Huh. That's surprising. The boss does not have any recovery skill! We can kill it easily!"
"Don't be too happy just yet. Pay attention to the skill {Cold to the Bone}. Damage aside, the slow effect and the Frozen effect will kill us all!"
"True. The only way of dispelling the frozen effect is the {Fire Beacon}. That would put a lot of pressure on the healers and the DPS of the entire party! If the boss does have any recovery skill. We're be popsicles for the Snowman!"
"Don't forget that after Frozen, the boss will deal more damage to us! I don't think players can be healed during a Frozen effect. Unless the boss decides to use {Fire Beacon} we will be ice cubes instead of popsicles!"
"Correct. The main point of this fight is to rely on the player that receives the {Fire Beacon} to rescue the rest of the teammates that are Frozen. Accessories, skills and status removal skills, will not be enough to save our butt!"
Zhang Yang nodded at the party's serious discussion and praised them for the effort. He then formulated a plan and a formation to allow for maximum coverage of the {Fire Beacon}.
Since the boss did not have any recovery skills, there was no need to prioritize on DPS. Instead, this match called for survivability instead. Frozen effect will only allow the boss to kill the party faster and easier. Although it cannot instantly kill a player in a Transformed state, it will still be a massive pain in the butt in terms of attacking. Everyone in the vicinity will be frozen after 10 seconds! In fact, after being freed again, they will only have a 10-second attacking window before they will be frozen again. In terms of defeating the boss, they might not stand a chance if something goes horribly wrong.


The phoenix is a creature of legends, a wonder of the world, an imagery of life and destruction. This fabled creature signifies the rise of a hero in a virtual world where battles occur for the sake of honor and glory!  

Zhang Yang was a professional gamer in the first and most fantastic game that revolutionized the world: God’s Miracle. A game where traditional knowledge in RPGs did not matter anymore, players would have to manually target and evade attacks, giving rise to a significant gap in skill between a professional and an amateur gamer.

Zhang Yang’s downfall came a little too soon. His girlfriend was snatched, his guild was harassed and disbanded, and he was even driven to commit suicide! Jumping off the top floor of a hotel, Zhang Yang seemed as though he was soaring like a phoenix. Little did he know that the end of his life also signified his rise from the ashes! 

King of the North Ulyssan's tragic cries rapidly turned into a roar. Following that, a snowstorm engulfed the area outside the cave, reducing the visibility to less than five meters.
Howling gales swept up dense "goose feathers" as they covered every inch of space. Meanwhile, an icy-blue halo rapidly extended outwards, clinging close to the ground. It left frozen ice everywhere in its wake as it passed.
Klein, who had his vision and hearing affected by the blizzard, instantly had the corresponding scene surface in his mind. He hurriedly bent his knees and kicked his heels, jumping high up, allowing the icy-blue halo to sweep underneath him.
As for Mobet Zoroast, who wasn't adept at combat, he was already too close to the icy-blue halo when he noticed it. He didn't have the time to jump up.
At that moment, he was hoisted up by his shoulders as the bottom of his feet had a tempestuous hurricane lift him up into the air. With this combination, he instantly flew up into the sky, avoiding the outcome of being frozen.
Mobet turned his head and, without surprise, saw the deadpan Siatas. This Elven Songster could only muster up strong winds to glide forward due to the "law" forbidding flight.
Anderson, Edwina, Snowman, and Frunziar reacted accordingly, jumping in time and dodging the attack without succumbing to it. Only Groselle, who had just pulled out his broadsword from the snow, was hit in the legs by the icy-blue halo, as he couldn't dodge in time.
Layers of ice instantly surged upwards as Groselle stood on the spot like a frozen corpse.
Whoosh!
The exaggerated blizzard obscured all the Beyonders' vision, making them lose their vision of the frost dragon. All they could do was passively defend against any attacks.
At that moment, Snowman, who hadn't dropped to the ground, spread out his arms once again and said solemnly in ancient Hermes, "God says it's ineffective!"
The violent blizzard suddenly calmed down significantly. Be it the tempestuous hurricanes or the dense snowflakes, they were weakened or had been cut in half.
Siatas vaguely made out a gigantic face with an ugly lizard-like face. The broken arrow was still embedded in its forehead.
Ulyssan had taken the opportunity to close the distance between them!
Siatas didn't panic. The strong winds suddenly changed directions, sending Mobet and her floating backward. Meanwhile, her chilled, pale lips opened as she sang in ancient and abstruse Elvish, "The rocks are destined to be shattered by the waves;
"The trees are destined to be struck down by the winds;
"The mountains are destined to crumble by the lightning…"
As every word in Elvish was rich and filled with meaning, the constructed sentences were extremely succinct. Therefore, the lyrics didn't waste too much of Siatas's time. Furthermore, from the moment the first word was spoken and from the beginning of the beautiful and forceful rhythm, the winds in the blizzard began to experience changes!
The howling sounds of wind turned chaotic as it spread out in every direction. Ulyssan's massive figure once again appeared before Klein and company's eyes.
When Siatas sang the third phrase, Disciplinary Paladin Frunziar had already pushed out his right palm and profoundly said in ancient Hermes, "Imprison!"
Instantly, the frost dragon which was about to rush Siatas and Mobet had frozen on the spot. Surrounding it were layers of transparent walls.
And as Frunziar said that softly, Edwina, who had just found her footing, made her light-blue eyes turn black. Inside them flowed a sticky liquid that seemed to be the manifestation of all the evil in the depths of one's heart.
She gently clenched her right palm as Ulyssan stood up with a roar, instantly ripping apart the effects of Imprison.
The frost dragon's eerie-blue eyes were filled with blankness and pain. It seemed to be still immersed in the emotions of sudden madness and ruthlessness.
Even though this was a state it was always in, to have it fully triggered was uncomfortable.
Without a doubt, it was a dragon who found it difficult to control its emotions!
Seizing the opportunity of Ulyssan's brief pause, Anderson Hood condensed a burning-white spear in his hand. Then, he bent his back and threw it out.
Without waiting for the outcome, flames appeared under the Strongest Hunter's feet, turning the ice into liquid.
Sou!
The spear accurately struck the frost dragon's half-open mouth, quickly melting the thick armor plates of ice, with the excess force penetrating the upper part of its forehead.
Ulyssan let out another tragic cry as its hind legs stomped backward, sending its body lunging forward. It stayed close to the ground as it rushed towards Anderson with a terrifying speed.
The only thing in its eyes was this worm that had dealt significant amounts of damage to it!
Schwing!
The snow split apart as a deep and wide chasm opened up in the ground. It emanated all the way to where Anderson was as it continued extending.

Groselle was only a meter shorter than Ulyssan's non-humanoid form. His strength was equally ridiculous. As he clashed repeatedly with Ulyssan's front claws, occasionally wavering and retreating at times, he quickly recovered by taking a step forward and engaged his opponent.
With the Giant Guardian occupying the frost dragon's attention, the others reacted accordingly with relative composure.
Snowman maintained his spread arms as a sun-like halo appeared around him. It quickly spread outwards, warming up all his companions and giving them immense courage. Furthermore, he carefully ensured that it avoided the King of the North.
Not far from him, Siatas's hair flared up as she drew her bowstring. She shot out arrows that appeared to be formed by wind blades or lightning. Due to the massive target, every single one of her arrows had hit her target. Furthermore, all of the arrows struck the same spot—the frost dragon's "shoulder."
Mobet Zoroast worked with Groselle, occasionally stealing the thoughts the King of the North had and was about to execute, making it pause briefly. At other times, he would attempt to steal its powers, but in the few times he did, he didn't have any success.
With the pitch-black sword, Anderson carefully circled to the frost dragon's flank and attempted to strike a particular spot. Disciplinary Paladin Frunziar brandished his iron-black sword, using Prohibition and Imprison to aid Groselle's brawl with the frost dragon. Without his restraints, even if the giant was a Guardian, he would have long been sent flying, suffering from a fatal stomp or the spewing of breath.
Klein looked at Edwina and raised his hand to point at himself.
"Invisibility!"
He didn't know if she had the ability to mimic this power. If it wasn't possible, he needed to consider using other methods.
Edwina didn't ask why as her light blue and limpid eyes immediately reflected Gehrman Sparrow's body which lost its color and turned transparent.
Following that, Klein's figure became faint and vanished.
After confirming his condition, Klein quickly ran towards the intense clash between the giant and the dragon. With a roll, he arrived by the King of the North's left foot.
Then, as he focused on dodging Ulyssan's feet while it did battle, he emanated his spirituality to control the illusory black threads with the Spirit Body Threads vision he had long activated.
Right on the heels of that, he would roll or leap around, in search of space beneath or around the frost dragon.
Sou! Sou! Sou!
Silver lightning arrows and pure azure wind blades landed in a small region, shattering the armor plates of ice, tearing apart the resilient skin. Soon, the frost dragon's right shoulder was a swath of light-blue. The corresponding claw's motions also appeared to slow down indiscernibly.
Disciplinary Paladin Frunziar acutely noticed this point. As he dodged the icy-blue breath, he pointed in that direction and declared in ancient Hermes, "Death!"
With a bursting sound, the blue blood flowing from Ulyssan's right shoulder instantly dried up, and the tear allowed its translucent bones to be seen.
At that moment, Edwina used a palm-sized brass mirror and reflected parts of Ulyssan's body in it.
She reached out her right hand and grabbed at the mirror's surface, pinching the reflection within. Then, she forcefully pulled outwards!
Ulyssan's wound instantly worsened. It kept spreading as though it was about to lose one of its front claws.
It let out a tragic cry as it suddenly raised its body, standing on its hind legs.
Light blue light that was almost white surged out of the dragon. In a hundred-meter range, the temperature plummeted, followed by a fearsome force.
Suddenly, all the Beyonders were sealed in ice. Their bodies became extremely cold as they turned very stiff. They couldn't help but tremble.
Siatas, Mobet, Edwina, Klein, Groselle, Anderson, and Frunziar all shared similar symptoms. The only one who barely maintained his mobility was the ascetic, Snowman, thanks to withstanding the training of being frozen countless times.
He maintained his spread arms, half-closed his eyes, and solemnly said, "God loves everyone!"
Sunlight tore through the wind and snow as the warmth began to melt the feeling of being frozen.

Ulyssan sent Groselle flying with a claw, severely injuring the Giant Guardian by leaving a depression in his chest.

As he thought of here, the blood in Qin Wentian’s body started to seeth and surge. He called upon the power of his bloodline and executed the Fiend Art Transformation as terrifying amounts of demonic qi exuded from him.
“SHATTER!” With a howl or rage, the ice crystals forming on his arms shattered into fragments. The shadow of a primordial great roc could be seen flashing by above his head.
The sounds of freezing continued on, that icy energy still enveloped him.
“Fiend Art Transformation.” Qin Wentian growled, the demonic qi exuding from him surged in intensity. That terrifying energy currents circulated around him as his body underwent a transformation into a great roc.
However, the power of this transformation is by far weaker compared to the power granted by the Demon Divinity Sacrificial Transformation. Its physique was smaller by countless times, and its wingspan was only about tens of metres wide.
However despite transforming into a roc, parts of his body was still frozen by the ice. He flapped his wings furiously as beams of sword light shot forth from him. The countless sword beams coalesced into a giant kingly sword that pierced deep into the ground. That was his Astral Nova. That sword started vibrating as a strange keening resounded forth from it, the sharpness of the melody shattering the ice that bounded him.
But right at this moment, a violent storm of snowflakes danced wildly in the air, covering the great roc, turning him white.
“Bzzz!”
The body of the great roc shot up into the skies. The kingly sword on the ground flew up with him, circling around him as the keening melody continued on unabated. The terrifying sword might generated from it destroyed the entirety of the flying snowflakes.
Qin Wentian’s sharp gaze swept downwards. A moment later, his body transformed into a stream of light as he descended with the speed of a comet, instantly landing upon the ground. The Kingly Sword stabbed out madly, the power of laceration sweeping over everything.
The great roc was extremely decisive, since he couldn’t find the snowman. He might as well destroy the entire snow in this space.
However right at this moment, the snow on the ground shot to one direction and abruptly gathered with increasing speed. A few breaths of time later, a snow mountain appeared on top of the ground in a certain direction and was growing exponentially larger with every second. It was as though the entire snow in this world have all been compounded and were being concentrated on this snowy mountain.

Qin Wentian explosively retreated, the snowy mountain below him was still expanding in size and soon became a gigantic snowy mountain of over a few thousand metres in height. Rumbling sounds echoed out while the snowy mountain trembled. An extremely strange sight occurred, the snowy mountains was actually growing out arms and legs. In fact, facial features also appeared, it was none other than the snowman whom Qin Wentian fought earlier.
In the blink of an eye, that snowy mountain transformed back into that snowman. But this time around, it was a few thousand times larger compared to before. With a single glance, it caused Qin Wentian to feel as though even his soul was being frozen.

At this moment, Qin Wentian turned back into his human form. After which, fearsome looking demonic scales enveloped his body as the will of his Mandate of Demons unleashed to its limits. His body was protected by layers of incomparably tough draconic scales while the kingly sword was held in his hands as he strode forward.
With Qin Wentian’s current prowess, if it was in the external world, it was a piece of cake for him to kill a fourth level Heavenly Dipper Sovereign .
“I truly want to see how much attacks can your body absorb.” Qin Wentian’s speed abruptly heightened. A cold wind gusted as the will from the Mandate of Ice and Snow got increasingly stronger. Once more, his body started to freeze, every cell in his body felt as though they were frozen solid.

“Swish!” The icy palms violently pressed towards Qin Wentian. The kingly sword was left embedded inside the giant. With a twist to the side, Qin Wentian executed the Stellar Transposition and dodged behind it. An instant later, a Heavenly Hammer condensed from his first Astral Nova appeared in his hands as he smashed it forcefully towards the back of the giant.

“BOOOM!” His immense strength flooded out, the vibrational shockwaves of his second level insight coated his attacks. Spider-web like cracks formed at the point of impact while the next instant, as endless amounts of sword qi formed into a vortex, Qin Wentian stabbed out with a single finger, intending on breaking the heavens with a single stab! Heaven Breaking Finger, slamming right into the body of the snow giant before he once again explosively retreated. That icy intent radiating forth was too strong, he would be frozen solid if he stopped his movements.

Staying far away from the snow giant, Qin Wentian’s countenance appeared extremely solemn as he turned his gaze ahead. The combination of attacks he used, caused the entire immense frame of that giant to tremble unceasingly.
Finally, with a thunderous boom, the snow giant’s body disintegrated, as boundless snowflakes drifted about in the wind. That normal-sized snowman from earlier appeared once again, peering at Qin Wentian.
“Your combat strength is passable.” That snowman suddenly laughed, “Congratulations, you can enter the next level. However, it isn’t going to be so easy. In fact, in your current state, it’s almost impossible to pass the next trial. You better be prepared.”

As the sound of his voice faded, the snowman turned into the endless snow, dissipating in thin air. At the place where he vanished, a flight of stairs leading to another ancient pathway could be seen.
Snow, rained down once more, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. Very swiftly, the entire land was once again covered by snow. Qin Wentian stretched his palms out, allowing the beautiful snowflakes to land on his palm, feeling the tingling coolness of it before it melted away. He then turned his gaze onto that flight of stairs. According to the snowman, the difficulty of the trial ahead would be even higher.

The Vermilion Bird chosen the path of the Tyrant Emperor for Ouyang Kuangsheng and Chu Mang, the path of the Blood Emperor for Mu Feng, the path of the Chaotic Devil Emperor for Bai Qing. But what has it chosen for him?

Countless sharp swords were floating in the air and each of them were emanating tremendous amounts of sword might, as though wanting to pressure him to death. This forest, was a forest of swords. Each of them seemed alive and also seemed to be a single entity.

“This…” Qin Wentian stared at the hovering swords, they seemed akin to leaves on the trees of actual forests that moved with the wind. The tip of each sword were pointed right at him as beams of sword light sparkled resplendently. It was as though the moment he moved, he would trigger the swords into shooting out.
“This place, is the Sword Forest. If you are willing to give up now, I shall send you out, no harm will come to you.” A gentle voice echoed, seemingly originating from the void. A moment later, a silhouette could be seen walking out from the forest of swords.
That person moved at a leisurely pace, but the feeling he gave Qin Wentian was as such that each and every step he took, sword intent would breath in and out. It felt as though this man was the incarnation of a sword, and was also one with the Sword Forest.

“How do i pass this trial? Qin Wentian asked.
“I will only tell you after you’ve decided. But I have to remind you that if you choose to give up now, you can still exit safely. But once you decided to take the test, you’ll be at death’s door where the slightest mistake could claim your life.” The other party spoke. Qin Wentian inclined his head, staring at the surrounding swords. Indeed, he could sense that if he made the slightest mistake, he would definitely die.
But now, he didn’t even know what the test would be, how can he give up so simply?

This was something Qin Wentian would consider. Since he has already chosen the hardest path, how can he still retreat in the face of danger? If he did, was he still him?

When I was three, I met a walking snowman in the woods. It was the dead of winter, when children should not be out and about. But the cold is always stronger than caution.
There are wolves in the woods, and they grow hungry in the long winter nights. The people grow hungry too, but people are less likely to kill you so they can eat you. Still, a child should not be left out to wonder in the woods in winter, much less at night. But we needed firewood, and I had lost track of time, digging through the snow for twigs that could burn. Winter days are so short.
He was tall, gigantic compared to how little I was back then. He wore a white cloak that covered most of his face, and a bright red scarf. In my nightmares, the scarf is dripping with blood. But on that night, I thought it looked cheerful.
I was cold. My brothers had given me a pair of mittens, too small for them now, but they were old and worn. My little finger was poking out through a hole, and I was afraid it would turn black and fall off like Uncle Joseph's toes. I kept blowing on it to keep it warm, but I was tired, and even my breath was getting colder and weaker.
That's when I saw the snowman. I thought he was a snowman at first, because he was all dressed in white, and didn't move. But he looked so much taller and more slender than any snowman I'd seen. He looked so pale, I thought he had frozen over. But he moved. He turned to look at me, and smiled. His hood was covering his eyes, but I saw the corners of his lips twisting just a little bit. And I smiled back.
"Are you lost?" I asked.
"No," he answered. His voice was soft like the wind. "Are you?"
"A little," I confessed. "Aren't you cold?"
"No."
He did not look cold. He wasn't shivering like me, and his breath wasn't forming puffs of steam in the air like mine. I thought that the air was somehow not cold around him. I must have been quite a whimsical child at that age.
"Aren't you scared?" I asked.
"Of the wolves?" 
"Of the vampire."
I had heard stories. The stories grandma used to tell us to keep us from wondering out at night. And the stories the grownups told each other when they thought we weren't listening. Everyone was scared of the vampire.
The snowman did not seem scared. I wanted to be brave like him. I wanted him to know that I was brave.
"Don't worry," I said. "If the vampire comes, he'll want to kill me first, because children's blood tastes sweeter. I'll hold him off so you can run away."
A wolf howled in the distance. Then another one. And another.
"You shouldn't be out at night," the snowman said.
He knelt on one knee in front of me and raised his hood to look into my eyes. That's when I saw that his eyes were as dark as the night.
"Sleep!" he said. And his eyes seemed to engulf me.
They found me in the morning, huddled among the sheep in their pan. One lamb was missing, and father cursed to no end. But mother hugged me and cried and said she'd thought I was dead. Sometimes, in my nightmares, I feel two strong arms carrying me, and a soft scarf brushing against my cheek. The scarf reeks of blood.

I saw him again when I was sixteen. It was a hot summer night, and I had snuck out to look for wild basil flowers. Grandma used to tell us that if you picked the flowers at midnight and kept them in your hair while you slept, you'd dream of the one. I knew who my one was going to be. He was Daniel, the priest's son, and he was very strong and handsome. But he was older than me by five years and treated me like a child. It didn't help that all the girls his age were running after him. So I thought I needed proof, and that in presenting him with the hard evidence of my having seen him in my basil-flower induced dreams, he would have no choice but to accept that he was indeed the one.
I was no fool at sixteen. I had prepared myself very carefully, and rubbed garlic all over my skin before going out. Uncle Joseph told me I smelled like lamb stew, and I told him that I hated him. I'd give anything to be able to take my words back now.
The night was steamy and hot. Sweat clung to my clothes and dripped down the back of my neck. I had just attacked the basil bush, and was braiding the fragrant stems into my hair. And then I saw my snowman.
He wore the same white cloak he'd worn that winter night. It covered him from head to foot, yet he didn't seem to feel the heat. His face was half covered, but I could see his lips curl in a smile when he turned towards me. His scarf was as white as snow.
"Aren't you a little lost?" he asked.
I took a step back, suddenly doubting the strength of the overpowering smell of garlic that was enveloping me. I tried to be brave. I wanted him to think that I was brave. But I could feel my eyes bulging in terror.
I saw his nose twitching just a little. His smile faded away.
"Stay here," he said.
His voice was cold, and his fangs showed when he spoke.
I turned to run. One step. Another. And he was somehow standing right in front of me again. He lifted his hood to look into my eyes.
"Stay here," he said.
Sometimes, in my dreams, I run away. I make it home. I tell Uncle Joseph that I'm sorry.
Sometimes, in my nightmares, I hear the screams as I'm standing there in the woods, unable to move. Sometimes I hear the snowman whisper in my ear "I'm sorry." Sometimes I think it's a memory.
I stood frozen in the woods all night. It was only when the first rays of sunlight touched me that I could move again. I rubbed my hands against my neck, and felt no bite marks. I inhaled deeply the stench of garlic and thanked the gods for saving me. And then I ran home laughing. I couldn't wait to tell everyone how I'd met the vampire and lived to tell the tale twice in my life. But there was no one to tell the story to. And there was no home left. All I found were ruins and bones and blood. So much blood.

The night I fell off the mountain path, I dreamed of the snowman with his blood-red scarf, carrying me home in his arms on a winter night. Only this time, his face was singed and his lips contorted in pain, and he seemed much smaller and weaker than in my memories. And the smell of blood made me ravenous.

When I was little, all I knew was fear. Fear of the gnawing hunger that consumed us from the inside. Fear of the biting cold that seeped through walls and wools and nipped at our toes and fingers. And fear of the ruthless lords who partied in the castle, up on the mountain, living off our work, our tears, our blood.

We thought fear would keep us safe, make us cautious and wise. We prayed to our gods for protection, and paid our tithe to the vampire lords, and hoped for peace. Fear kept us in our place, my family and I. And it is in fear that they died. When I found them, mangled and covered in blood, l swore I would never live in fear again. If I were to die like them, l would at least die a brave death. I didn’t think that I might die a stupid death.

All it takes is one wrong step. Tread on a twig, and they will hear you coming. Step on a viper and you will never have a chance to take on the vampire. There are so many things that can go wrong in the mountains. One moment, one tiny slip, and your life flashes before your eyes, every memory vivid and painful like a knife through the heart. And when you breathe your last, labored breath, the last thing you see is the vampire, leaning over you in the dark, moonless night, savoring his victory.

My last thought, as I lay dying, was that, at least, there would be no vampires in the afterlife. Whether I was going to heaven or hell, I knew I had escaped him and his kind. There is no eternal rest for the undead, no passage into the world beyond. We would never meet again. Or so I thought.

For the briefest moment, when I woke up in the tight coffin, I thought that 
I’d survived. But only for a moment. Then the painful realization hit me: my heart wasn’t beating. And, instead of the hunger that had ruled my entire life, I felt a dire thirst.

The next day.
In the morning.
At a theater in Beijing.
"It's time for work."
"Little Liu, do a check on the equipment."

They punched Luke over and over. They had a twisted smile on their faces as they beat into Luke.

Why...Why are they doing this? I can't move...I knew I shouldn't have come. I'm just a human. No power or anything. I am so stupid. How could I have been so stupid? I should have just said no I would have been safe. I can save anyone. Luke thought as he was kicked more and more. Luke had bruises all over his body. Luke's eyes started to become heavy with every blow. Then Luke saw nothing as he fell unconscious.

" He's so light, I wonder how much he weighs." Something said in the darkness.

" I don't know. You are so weird. Why would I care about how much he weighs?" Another voice said in the darkness. 

Luke realized that he was being carried somewhere but he had a bag over his head. They carried him for hours down something that seems to be a hallway. They stop suddenly dropping Luke on the floor. They repositioned Luke to be in a sitting on his knees position. They snatched off the bag allowing Luke to see. He looked up with his bruised face. He saw a man in front of him in a throne made of ice like substance. He had a hazmat suit on. It was the man from Luke's job. It was Snowman.

" I told you not to bruise his face. Why is his face bruise?" Snowman said.  

" Sir, I'm sorry but when I show that pretty face I wanted to broke it." One of the men's beside Luke said. 

Snowman gets up off his icy throne walking toward the man who said that. Snowman took off one of his glove covering his hands. The hand was pale blue with lots of wrinkles. The room temperature immediately drops to freezing. When Snowman gets to the man. The man was petrified with fear. Snowman grabbed the man's face with his bare hand with a cold expression on his face. Snowman smashed the man's head easily. Chunks of freeze parts of the man's head flew every way.

Luke shook with fear. He looked at a frozen piece of the man's head slide next to him. Tears started to form in his eyes. I just saw... some... one... die!!! WHY ME I CAN'T DIE HERE!!! I DON"T WANT TO die. Luke thought as he tried to run away realizing he tided up. He falls. Snowman put back on his glove. 

" Now do you understand your place. You are a bug that I'm allowing to live. You don't control your fate I do. Do you understand me, boy? Every in your life thinks of betraying me. You will die you understand. You are just a researcher and I want to keep it that way. You may be the smartest man alive but, I'm the strongest. You can't ever touch me without dying. You are weak. You should know your place." Snowman said as he sat back on his icy throne.

Why...Why... I'm going to die. I don't want to die. I will do anything to survive please someone save me, please... Luke thought as Snowman looked at him. 

" I guess I had nothing to worry about. You are not worth killing. I want him out of my site. I hate looking at insects." Snowman said as Luke was kicked in the guts going unconscious. With the words "looking at insect" still in his mind. He feels lower than a bug, a mere insect. For the first time, Luke felt like an insect, a mere bug in his present. Fear and being powerless was horror Luke. 

Hours later. Luke is sitting in a hospital bed at Luke's job. Luke wakes up in a panic from a nightmare. Luke had serval bandages all over his body. Ms. Sten was at the computer as always. 

" So you're awake. How are you feeling?" Ms. Sten said writing code. 

" I feel terrible. It feels like I've been in a car wreck." Luke said laying back down. 

" You so lucky that he was in a good mood. What were you thinking why didn't you fight back? You know if you're in a life or death situation it is better to use your powers." Ms. Sten said matter-of-factly. 

" Oh, I don't have powers. I'm not a superhuman. What gives you that idea that I was." Luke said with a solemn look. 

" Will, I know roughly 50% of the population has a..." Ms. Sten said being interrupted by Luke.

" It's 42%!!! Not 50% not everyone has one. I may not be able to defend myself against someone with power but, that's O..." Luke said being interrupted. 

" What, it's okay being beaten to death because you don't have power. You sound idiotic. If you are the smartest man alive. Create yourself something that could make yourself stand toe to toe to superhumans." Ms. Sten said as she looked Luke in the eyes for the first time every revealing her face. She had a giant scar on her face across one of her eyes. The eye was a robotic eye. Her eye color was purple and black hair. Luke had a scared look on his face. 

" I can't...I can't... I can't...I can't...I can't...I can't" Luke said with a fearful look on his face. Ms. Sten stands on walking over to Luke. Slapping him with all her might. Luke's expression didn't change.

" Listen, You have to get over what you saw. Snowman is a monster. He is in a different league. He will not hate you. Rather he can't. You are very important to this city's future and he knows this he can't kill you. They will start asking questions. As long as you don't get in his way he will not get in yours." Ms. Sten said. 

" What if I don't get out of his way," Luke said fear still in his eyes. 

" Then you better find a way to win because if you don't you will die." Ms. Sten said.

After the calls were done, You Xi Wang accompanied his grandparents and aunt to have a hearty meal with the family he also broke the news that he needs to leave while the team can stay here to train. His grandparents asked him what was the hurry and You Xi Wang broke the news that the Tianlong group is about to introduce two products and he needs to be there to oversee the final proceedings. You Zhichi proposed to go back with him but You Xi Wang asked her to take some time off and relax while staying here with the grandparents for a week more. 
He also asked the team members if they wanted to leave or to stay here to train for longer. Unexpectedly, the team members all stayed here and train for one more week and they will return with You Zhichi before the battle fest begins. You Xi Wang called Adonis and told him the situation. The latter told him to wait while he discussed the matter with the school officials. You Xi Wang then took the kids to the ice pond near the family. 
The pond was naturally frozen by the climate. This area was under the Chen Family jurisdiction. Some elders would come here to practice their skills once in a while. Those seniors in the family liked nature to be raw, so this place was left untouched. In the past, Chen Limao used to take You Xi Wang and his sister here and they would both make snowmen and ice fairies. They would sometimes fight with snowballs. This video was just a memory and not for showing outsiders. Lily also made a small ball of ice and crept up behind Jojo, who was laughing at the scene. 
Lily pulled the back of Jojo's coat and dropped the snowball inside it. Jojo suddenly sensed something cold slipping down along his back, and he did the 'dance'. Celestia had already started recording another video of Jojo and Lily. The girls laughed as Jojo 'danced' the three then fought with snowballs. After fifteen minutes when they were tired they spotted a snowman in the center of the ice rink and Chen Qianbei was wrapping a scarf around its head with her back facing the kids. 
Celestia glided to her, and then she started laughing wildly. Lily and Jojo followed her, and their reaction was the same. The snowman was none other than You Xi Wang. They were lost in their snowball fight and did not know when Chen Qianbei made You Xi Wang a snowman. Only his head was revealed and the rest of the body was covered in snow. You Xi Wang carried a despondent look at this moment. 
Chen Qianbei said, "Gougou, smile, please. We will take a picture and aunt will post it on her Metro frame account." with that said she asked the three children to come and stand next to the snowman while she stood next to the snowman with her arm coiled around his neck. The picture was clicked and posted in a blink of an eye.
Celestia spoke, "Auntie Bei, can I also have this picture? I want to post it on my Metro Frame as well."
Chen Qianbei nodded with a smile and shared the picture. This thing did not stop here. They called You Zhichi, Yuki, Mu Qingling to the ice rink and let them take a picture with You Xi Wang or the snowman. The snowflake that has fallen from the clouds is stacking the snow into the ground and also the leafless trees. There are some evergreens planted randomly around the place. The lake around them also turned frozen solid in respect of the season of winter.
Valera has entered a place of winter wonderland.
Suddenly, a gust of cold wind hits her neck, making her flinch followed by a loud shriek.
After that, she started to feel cold. She crossed her arms to make her warm a bit.
Spirit notices her and gives her another silent treatment.
"...Alright. Stay still, Valera." He casts his spell once again.
Valera's body glowed a bit and eventually retracted itself into her body.
Suddenly, she feels warm, like she's inside a hot, but kind flame, the kind of flame that doesn't hurt when touched. 
She closes her eyes, taking deep breaths and holds both of her hands to make herself feel the heat inside of her. And with that, she felt cozy.
"...Thanks, Spirit." She gives him a heartwarming smile. 
"... Don't mention it." He can't help but to respond in her appreciation.
Valera then walks to the forest by crossing the frozen lake. With a warm sensation that she has, she feels at ease and continues on her journey.
"!" And just like that, she loses her focus on a slippery ice and slipped.
"... I'm not going to heal you from that." Spirit said to her bluntly. She stands up and continued walking, embarrassed of her actions.

As they entered through the woods, they walked around to find her memories.
While they're walking, Valera looked back to see her tracks in the snow. She then looked around and she still sees the flakes of snow falling in front of them. Of all the seasons she experienced, this season has to be her least favorite of the bunch. But because of the snow and the cold atmosphere, she takes it as an exception and enjoys it anyway.
"Valera?"

"Are you sure you're ok? You don't seem to enjoy this as much as before." Spirit said this because she looks as if she didn't gave an expression in this world like earlier. 
"It's nothing. It's just that... This place doesn't feel amusing as I was before. Everything I see here is just white, and nothing else."
"Well, I guess you have some opinions regarding in these types of topics."
"It's not like I love every view. Although all of them are pleasing in a way, I usually sort them on how beautiful those sceneries are."
"Let me guess. In order, from top to bottom, the views from the spring, the fall, and, lastly, winter."
Valera flabbergasted on his guess.
"How did you know?!"
"Your face, Valera. Your face."
Hearing his answer, she turned away from Spirit and pouted like a kid.
As they're walking, they saw some children playing ahead of them. Seeing an opportunity to regain her memories, she walked a bit faster and looked closely at the children.
There are at least 7 kids playing in the snow. Some of them are building a snowman and most of them are throwing snowballs with each other.
Two of the kids, Valera and her best friend, Maple, are kids that are building a snowman. The snowman they're building is the same as the snowman in the island.
She expected that Phillip would be one of the kids but...
She looks around to find him but none of them looked like him. Due to this, Valera is starting to feel puzzled.
As she looks around the forest, she saw a kid hiding in one of the trees.
"Phillip!" The kid Valera runs towards Phillip.
"You finally came!"
"Um... Yeah." Phillip is feeling anxious around the playing children.
"C'mon, we're building a snowman. So join us, okay?!" She pulls Phillip to the snowman. "Okay, okay. I'm going. You don't have to pull me, you know." To his perspective, seeing her joyful attitude makes him a bit better and tries his best to enjoy with the rest of the kids.
However, the kids saw him while they're playing a snowball fight. 
Almost all of them are approaching him. 
"Hey! I didn't see you around here. You the new kid?"
They asked Phillip like they wanted to fight him.
"Um..." Phillip flustered as he tries to make up an answer.
Valera saw him and the kids approaching him. She backs him up and talks to them while trying to be friendly to avoid fighting.
"He's just from the other street. I invited him here to play with us."
"Oh, really! You should've told me earlier!" 
He isn't actually trying to do badly to them. He's just trying to converse Phillip into joining their group. Although, his tone is a bit violent than it should be that it makes those two think of a misconception.
"C'mon, Phillip! Let's play over there! We should build the biggest snow fort we can ever imagine!" He points on his back on his other friends waiting for them.
"Wait! I asked him fir-"
"It's fine, but I really don't want to for now." Phillip interrupts her but looks at the other kid.
"Huh?"
"I think it would be better to play with her first. She invited me, anyway."
The other kid puts his mind into thought, trying to process on what's going on with them.
An eventually, he come up with a conclusion.
"Ah! You're in love with her, aren't you?!" He pointed at Valera. 
"N-No it's no-"
"Woah! You had a Boyfriend, Valera?!" The other kids also asked her.
"What?! I-"
All the kids heard what he said and they started wooing at them. Both Valera and Phillip doesn't have a chance to tell them that they're misleading about their relationship.
"Then we should be going! I swear we won't disturb you two!"
"C'mon! Let's go somewhere!"
"Woo!!"
The kids are starting to get noisy and ran to the opposite direction.
The two of them are just standing, blushing in red.
"you... have great friends."
She can't help but nods at him. She hides her face due to her embarrassment.
"So... should we build a snowman?" Phillip asked.
Valera actually forgot the reason why he brought him here in the first place. She looks at him while trying to hide her reddened face.
"Oh! ...um, Yeah. Maple should be helping with us so it'll be finished at
...any...
...moment."
As she looked at the snowman, she realized that Maple isn't here anymore. She also ran like the other kids.
"..." Valera has no words to express this situation.
While she's standing there with a blank expression, Phillip draws near the snowman.
"The snowman is actually almost done. Just the head, some rocks and sticks and it's done."
Valera got out of her fazed state and listened at him.
"I'll go find something to make his face and arms and you should make a head." He then walks to the forest.
Valera saw his natural face and began of thinking doubts about him. 
'Doe's he actually has feelings for me?' is what she's thinking right now.
"We should hurry up, y'know. We should catch up to them and play. Just as you said earlier, it's better to play with everyone." Phillip rephrases what she said to him yesterday.
Right now, she has abandoned that thought...
And just enjoy the time with him.
Valera, who is on the farthest side of them, looked closely at the two. She also started to feel like blushing on what she saw in that memory.
"So that's Phillip, huh?" Spirit said this out of the blue, due to the fact that he didn't see his face before.
Valera, on the other hand, recoiled at his response because she didn't realize that he was there.
Spirit then looks at her for good measure.
"You're blushing, you know?" Valera reacts with a blush.
"Red as a rose..." She looks on the ground and started to get irritated at his taunts.
"Shut it!" Valera throws a snowball at him. She uses her anger to hide her flustered sensation.
But since he's just a ball of flame, he dodged it without moving. After that, she throws another snowball at him, and relentlessly throws as many snowball as she can get.
Having so many snowballs coming at him, he dodges all of them without a sweat.
"Would you please stop? You're wasting your own energy."
... She didn't listen at him.
Annoyed, he uses his magic on the tree near her. He violently shakes the tree and eventually...
A pile of snow falls into her. 
She tried to struggle in the snow to get out but sooner or later, she stopped and has finally calmed down.
Spirit sighed out of pity.
After that, they walked again to find another memory or a portal.
"So, have you finally calmed down?"
"yeah... sorry."
Spirit heaves a sigh. "As long as you don't repeat that, it's fine."
"By the way, Spirit. Do you have a body before you became a spirit?"
Spirit felt perplexed at her question. "... Why are you asking me that?"
"I heard that every human has a soul inside of them. Technically, your appearance kinda resembles a human soul, so I got curious."
Spirit tries to think about this.
"Surprisingly, I don't know. 
I only existed because my thoughts tell me that I need to be with you and act as your guardian. As I told you before, no one ordered me to be your guardian. 
I just had to be one, out of my own free will."
"..." With his statement, Valera went silent.
"...Maybe, the answer should be one of my memories."
"?" He deemed baffled at her answer.
"If everything in this world correlates with my memories, there may be a hint of the cause of your existence. I don't know if I could find it or not but...
If I actually found something, I'll let you know." She makes a smile in her face to reassure him. As an entity whose role is to protect her, he didn't expect to join a voyage to also know about his past.
Hearing this as a promise, Spirit is pleased at her resolve.
"I thank you for that. It... It is reassuring of you."
She responded with a chuckle.
Eventually, the two stopped walking.
Ahead of them is an intense blizzard just a few meters away. Valera can feel the coldness of the blizzard just by standing here. It hinted her that it is dangerous to go on.
"I don't think this is safe, Valera. Let's go to the other side and-"
"Wait..." She told Spirit to stop while standing still.
"After I escaped from my dark memories, I immediately at the place near the portal. If I'm correct..."
Valera knew she has to go there to continue. But the feeling of having those memories implanted in her head shook her.
Her legs are shivering like there's no tomorrow and her breathing is incorrect.
Spirit detects her sign of anxiety and goes to comfort her.
"You're right. You've come this far, so it is best to go forward. Even if there are obstacles on the way, 
You can, and you will, overcome that fear."
He draws closer to her.
"Don't worry. As long as I'm here, you will be safe.
So let's go, Valera."
She never knew Spirit can be so supportive at her goal. But she realized that he's right.
Valera has gone far and escaping would mean her journey worthless.
Filled with determination, she agrees to him by nodding him.
After their confrontation, Valera and Spirit goes into the blizzard together.
Seeing Spirit with her side, she feels protected and now has the ambition to move forward, even if it means remembering those sad memories once again.
