This is just a collection of various short stories I've written. Some may be FanFics, original ideas, or drawing inspiration from a prompt (either a quote or a phrase). Of course, I'll write more, but this is what I want to do as a bridge to improve my writing before tackling any big projects.

This is my first book, so I do not hope anything much from it.

And my native language is Bengali. So I have tried my best to put in, the minimal vocabulary I have. Feel free to point out any typos.

I used to be a huge twilight fan. Then I shifted to TVD, The Originals and currently Legacies. Other shows included Lucifer, Teen Wolf and a lot of reading. I loved supernatural fantasy and still do. All these together inspired me with this story. I love this baby.

This is Book 1 of the series.

Book 1 of The Cursed Realm Saga

In a world where supernatural beings exist, where magic brews darkness and darkness tends the souls, where creatures bearing fangs and those with claws consider themselves the superior creation of nature... there, peace is just a metaphor.

"ᴀ ᴄᴜʀꜱᴇ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ɪꜱ ᴅᴏɴᴇ ᴄᴀɴ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʙᴇ ᴜɴᴅᴏɴᴇ ʙᴜᴛ... ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ'ꜱ ᴀʟᴡᴀʏꜱ ᴀ ʟᴏᴏᴘʜᴏʟᴇ."

A war of power between the dark and the light was enough to put the fate of the entire realm at risk. Now, to save the realm, the chosen ones must enter the wicked games that had been waiting to be started for centuries in the form of a curse that will put the realm in a turmoil, impossible to overcome.

Gwenneth Sienna wasn't aware of any of this... Even when she is sent into the realm of chaos, she doesn't know a bit about these people and their true nature. Every face here wears a mask, hard to recognize.

Gwen has to survive long enough for her mother to come and get her out of here. But when two gorgeous brothers are willing to do everything to keep her bound to the castle grounds, she must choose between following her heart and following her destiny.

And her destiny may not be the safest choice out and neither is following her heart.

"I'm home."

As expected, nobody answers the young man's half-hearted call. With an exhausted sigh, Ng Yan shuffles into his small apartment, dropping his satchel carelessly on the floor and heading straight to the shower in an attempt to wash the exhaustion weighing down on his shoulders. Robotically, Ng Yan quickly washes himself down, only taking a minute to soak in the precious hot water before reluctantly jumping out and immediately shivering from the cold. 

After putting on his warmest and most worn out pair of pajamas, he immediately slips into bed, phone in hand. It's only six-thirty in the evening but Ng Yan didn't have the energy to do anything else. He can't afford to go out or watch television, he has no motivation nor interest to practice his hobbies, and he constantly feels tired to the point that it feels like his very bones have been injected with lead. All he has left is the WiFi he's stealing from his neighbor, his warm blanket and the many pillows he has for comfort. 

Hugging one of the softer pillows into his arms he can't help but smile as he enjoys basking in his bed, his happiest place since forever. With one hand he scrolls down a list of online stories to distract himself with before he finally feels tired enough to go to sleep. Unfortunately, none of his favorite novels had updated enough to warrant a binge-reading session and there was no interesting new stories that caught his eye. 

Reluctantly Ng Yan decided to fall back on his current back-up for times like this, a stallion novel called Half-Blood. 

Half-Blood was a generic cultivation plot with an optimistic, handsome protagonist that somehow, despite his original mediocre cultivation base and initial bullying in the beginning, manages to shoot up to become the strongest cultivator in the world through hard work, friendship and love. A lot of love. Really, Ng Yan wasn't even a third of the way through and the main character, Wang ZhongYi, had already caught five girls into his harem despite not even having reached eighteen yet. It was rather disturbing. 

Ng Yan scoffs as he continues reading the story. Love interests aside, the plot was decent, the twists weren't original but they were satisfying enough, and the world building was actually fairly good despite it being clear that the author doesn't have a good grasp on what cultivation generally does. Still the fact Ng Yan hadn't dropped the story completely proved its potential. 

Of course the eighteen paragraphs dedicated to talking about the newest pretty sister of the month was making him seriously reconsider. 

"This is ridiculous," Ng Yan mutters, "she's probably not even going to stay that long in the story, who cares if she has eyes like a young jaguar?" If only there was just as much screen time for the male comrades Wang ZhongYi had picked up, Ng Yan would've been far more invested. 

Soon the story started picking up, introducing a mysterious demon mentor and another competition held in the Heavenly Cloud Sect. 

This, in Ng Yan's opinion, was his absolute favorite part and soon he was grinning and wide awake as he quickly read through the short Dancing Leaf competition arc. He'd always had a weakness for arcs about training and competing in contests, and apparently the Heavenly Cloud sect master seems to love the latter just as much as he does. There was always an interesting competition being held with various rewards which would prod the plot along and allow the still young protagonist to explore parts of the world with various results. Many readers found this incredibly repetitive but Ng Yan never failed to comment and praise the ingenuity, the different sets of trials, the reactions to each seemingly ridiculous tasks, ingenious ways to overcome them, the eccentric personalities they meet during the arc, hotblooded rivals, the deception, the enthusiasm- such simple hot-blooded fantasies in an already fantastical setting was addicting.

Finally though, Ng Yan's eyes grew sore and his eyelids became heavy. Reluctantly, he set up his alarm for five in the morning and snuggled into the warmth of his bed, hugging a pillow tightly in his arms and another between his legs. He imagines his bed as a giant, delightfully comfortable cocoon and he is the fat caterpillar ready to sleep until he either dies or becomes reborn as a butterfly. Honestly, at this point, he wouldn't mind either outcome right now.

This is his last thought before he slips easily into his slumber.

When he went to sleep, he went calm, peacefully and comfortably, even if a little depressingly.

When he woke up, he was screaming himself hoarse and it felt like his whole body was crawling with angry fire ants under his skin.

'Well,' the small part of him not crying in agony mildly comments, 'this isn't right.'

That was a joke. There was not even a minuscule part of him not crying in agony.

After what seemed like an eternity and a half, someone blessedly must have rushed in and knocked him into the sweet bliss of unconsciousness. Ng Yan didn't even have the energy to question it, despite the fact there should be no one beside him in the apartment.

Now Ng Yan wasn't an exceptional person. A quiet temperament with above average grades. He made good first impressions but because of his lethargy and anxiety he was always failing to nurture any prolonged communication and as a result only held superficial relationships with people outside his immediate family. 

No stand out job, no friends, no energy. The type of young man can't help but let opportunities slip through his fingers like water and regret afterwards. 

The only thing this person could be considered blessed with was a strong imagination and a well-trained ability to more or less completely control his own dreams however he wished. In his dreams he is the king, changing the script, skipping through periods of time, rewinding and re-altering however he wished. If he comes across a nightmare he can force himself awake with a squeeze of his eyes. If he dislikes the direction the dream is going he can jump back and remake a decision for a more satisfying story. It's not the most useful skill, arguably it cannot even be considered a skill, but for a person so worn down by his own reality it was the ultimate form of pure escapism. 

It had been a while since he had dreamed something so beyond his control though. 

He's a baby, already an odd way to start, and no matter how much he forces his mind he can't change a thing. Under the fuzzy blanket of sleep that dulls his higher cognition, his consciousness doesn't panic but he knows something isn't right as a couple he doesn't recognize comes to scope his small body up. 

Maybe he picked their faces up subconsciously, he's never been good at remembering faces anyway. But somehow it feels wrong. It's too vivid and detailed. 

The couple is cooing and smiling at him, even the man who looked quite stern and regal had a dopey expression on his face. As they continue fussing over him, more people enter the room. When he catches sight of them, he knows that something is not right.

There was no where he would have completely forgot such handsome looking people in his life. He couldn't have imagined them. His imagination was good but not this good.

Two men in similar light blue robes were brimming with elegance and nobility. They both shared some features with each other however the taller one had sharper eyes, a more defined jaw and musculature as well as an innate radiation of power and majesty that could just not be denied. Next to the taller man was a woman of equal height and handsomeness, though while the tall man had a stoic, neutral expression, the woman was far more expressive and cocky, between the pair it was like ice and fire. Despite all three being gorgeous beyond compare, it seemed the taller man and the woman were cruelly outshining the other man just by virtue of being in the same room. 

"Xia Zhijun, Xia Lin, Xia Ling," The stern man greets, "Come meet your newest brother." 

Before the trio can step forward the scene shifts forward. Snippets of a life of a young master flashes past. He marvels at the nature of the mountains and forests. Gawks at the architecture and treasures as he explores his home with small feet. Gasps at flying swords, fighting, fantastical spells and beasts. It was a cultivation world. 

He feels himself being so very happy and content, if a touch superior. As the son of the sect master he was a little prince in a large kingdom. He is loved, adored and pampered. A blissful life already paved with guaranteed riches and happiness. 

But then that night happened. 

The little prince was a light sleeper, and so he woke up when he heard a rustling sound next to his body in the middle of the night. However he was still too young, too weak and more importantly, too late. 

Before he knew it, he felt a thousand tiny hairy legs fall down his face, skittering over his body like a nightmarish waterfall. It was the worst thing he's ever experienced. It was falling straight from heaven into hell. He couldn't see clearly through all the spiders- and they were spiders- horrible, blood red spiders. When he tried to scream he found himself choking on them. They bit him too. Sharp, and cruel, uncaring where they attacked as he got pierced by thousands of tiny fangs all over his body. Pinpricks of burning pain and the feeling of hairy little legs constantly scurrying everyone, it was enough to go insane.

"Make it stop!" He wants to shout, "Please, please, I'll do anything! Please! Stop it!"

No matter what he tried he couldn't break free of this nightmare. He had to watch and feel and suffer until the very end as the little prince collapsed underneath the barrage of arachnids. 

And then Xia Yan woke up.

Ng Yan was young, tired and bone-weary. After another day of thankless, mind-numbing work all he wanted to do was read something entertaining on his phone, snuggle into his bed until he became one with it and sleep until the next lifetime. 

And he does.

Technically.

When he opens his eyes the next morning he finds he had become a five-year old child named Xia Yan, current youngest son of the Heavenly Cloud sect and well-hated cannonfodder in the second-rate stallion novel Half-Blood Hero who ends up a human skewer by the antagonist's callous and cruel hands. 

Xia Yan: '...' 

Xia Yan: _(:3」∠)_ 'I know nothing, just let me sleep until next lifetime again please.'

Antagonist: 'I do not mind as long as I sleep alongside you as well.'

Cultivation is a way to ascend to immortality.

However, the huge difference of strength between the strongest and weakest affects the natural order.

Hence, nature divides the world into three (plus two) major planes.

The known planes are: Mortal plane, Spiritual plane, Heavenly plane, God plane, and the Devil plane.

𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲

As the name suggests, this is the plane where mortals reside. 

Among all the planes, this is the most unique plane despite being the weakest because it consists of numerous worlds, each of infinite size.

Nonetheless, only a few of them are connected to the spiritual plane by leaking qi. The center where this qi is concentrated is the place where civilization that can later ascend thrives.

The world within which the story begins is a cultivation world of the mortal plane.

The orthodox power bloc of this world is divided between five major parties:

The four major sects which have ties to upper plane.

And the Qing Shan imperial family which governs the mortal lands along with their vassals (the eight kingdoms).

Although Qing Shan Empire is the strongest among the five, they give concession to the sects in exchange for receiving backing in the Spiritual plane after their members ascend.

Similarly, there is also the Church of Blood among the unorthodox side which contests itself as the strongest power of the world.

Here, the stages of cultivation can be divided into six stages – Qi Refinement, Foundation Establishment, Free Travel, Broken Sea, Spiritual Core, Spiritual Arrival.

𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲

This is the plane where the numerous connected worlds of the mortal plane converge.

The major power bloc of this plane are the four major clans.

After them are the numerous sects who are the branches to their sects of upper plane.

Since spiritual plane acts as a hub to numerous worlds, the culture of this world is very rich with various modes of entertainment.

However, since the technologies of other worlds can be replicated by using their own native methods, the scenery of Spiritual plane is still Xianxia-like.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲

The major power blocs of this plane are the seven holy hands which have existed since ancient times.

The four major clans of the spiritual plane usually choose to be a part of the holy lands after ascension.

Notable power blocs after them include local and regional powers like the main branch of Immortal Divinity sect.

A ruined plane where the laws of nature no longer resides.

Hence, this plane is a plane of chaos with no separation between the strongest and weakest.

It was once one of the two strongest planes alongside god plane before waging war and barely winning against it.

The reason behind the war and how they managed to win is unknown.

Rumors exist that some of the top brass are still alive.

Although it cannot be verified because they cannot descend to other planes.

This plane is also connected to all the other planes and is the origin of blood cult which is the largest unorthodox influence in all planes.

𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲

A plane where god-like beings once resided.

They lost the war waged by the Devil Plane and thus, now the said plane no longer exists.

For me, the world of cultivation was divided into three difficulty levels:

The easy level Mortal Plane where I made mob characters cry the name of their ancestors.

The medium level Spiritual Plane where mob characters made me cry the name of my ancestors.

The hard level Heavenly Plane where I joined my ancestors.

After experiencing all sorts of turbulence for more than thousand years and somehow restarting my life again in the middle of easy level (Mortal Plane), I wanted to do nothing more than become an NPC and peacefully ascend to higher planes without fighting like those hot-blooded lunatics of shounen manga.

As such, I painstakingly taught my dear disciples all sorts of knowledge in hopes that they could provide senior support for their master in the future.

Yet… how did things turn out this way?

What do you mean you are going to destroy the Heavenly Demon Sect? Isn’t that supposed to be the duty of high spec MCs? Oh wait, you are a high-spec MC.

Wait what? You want to rule over the world? Go and cure your chuuni disease before you come before me again.

And you, you, and you. What do you mean by you will not let anybody take our master? Wear your dress properly and go meet the therapist immediately.

Feng Zhu finished his father's story, and finally, he talked about himself, "My grandfather and my father have rested their hopes of being in the National Team on me. When I was 3 years old, my grandfather started to train me to play ping-pong. To be honest, I can't remember things clearly back at that time. I only remember that my grandfather emptied the living room and bought a ping-pong table especially for me, even though I was no taller than the table."
"Then, not only my grandfather, but my father also joined in to train me. I was never in kindergarten when I was a child. I was trained by my grandfather on weekdays, while my father trained me on weekends. My family spent a lot of money on my training. They bought nutrition supplements to help me get stronger, and engaged a coach to help my training. Almost all my father's salary, and my grandfather's pension, were spent on me."
"When I was 7 years old, I started to participate in ping-pong games between amateurs. When I was 8, I got my first achievement, the champion of our City Table Tennis Match Children Group. It did not take long before I was selected by City Sport Team. Then, was recruited to Provincial Youth Team. And later, when I was 14, I went to Provincial Sport Team."
"Soon after I joined in our provincial team, a national team coach came for selection. He gave me high praise. However, since I was only in this team for a short time, he didn't take me to the National Team immediately. He let me stay here and practice for 1 or 2 years to accumulate more experience."
"From then on, I started training madly, and had an additional training day and night. I knew both my grandfather and my father were anxious for me to enter in the National Team. I didn't want to let them down."
"When I was 16 years old, a National Team coach came here again. It was another coach who came specially for testing me. But in the end, I was not chosen by the National Team." Ending here, Feng Zhu showed a painful look on his face.
"Why?" asked Dai Li.
"The coach thought I lacked strength, and my techniques were outdated. I was really thin at that time, thin and short, and not strong." After a short pause, he went on, "What's more, I learned my ping-pong techniques from my grandfather and my father. The techniques in their time was different from modern times."
Dai Li nodded to show his understanding. In the past decade, International Table Tennis Association had modified the competition rules repeatedly, and started to use new table tennis equipment. The major purpose was to restrict our National Team and break the monopoly on table tennis.
These changes had slowed down the speed of the ping-pong ball, which on the other hand, made it easier to play stalemate ball. Given an example of match ball, 38mm-diameter balls were used in the past, while 40mm-diameter balls were used in recent years. Although the diameter disparity was just 2mm, the ball speed slowed by 17%, and the rotation degree was cut by 23%, which made the previous playing style of fast and flexible become obsolete.
Almost all the world champions twenty years ago were the kind of players who had flexible bodies and fierce playing styles. The most popular style was like a fierce tiger, which gave the opponent a rush in 2-3 rounds and ended the fighting in 5-6 rounds. It was almost impossible to play stalemate ball!
Especially some short players were at a disadvantage on movement, because of their heights. They had to take two steps, while their opponents only took one. Therefore, these short players had to pursue fast and fierce playing techniques, so that they could gain the initiative and not be led by the nose.
Once they kept playing stalemate ball for a long time, or did not gain the initiative, their shortcomings would be amplified, which brought increasing probability of loss. However, it did not work to use the previous playing style. Modern table tennis not only needed techniques and flexibility, but also ample strength. Without strength, the ball would lack high-speed and rotation, then an attack would be not fierce enough. In this case, the opponent would catch the ball and launched counterattacks easily.
As for strength and rotation, the players who were tall with long arm spans certainly had advantages. That a big player would have more power, was a common view in the sports field. What's more, based on the leverage principle, players who had longer arm spans led to a bigger ball rotation. So in recent years, there were no more short world champions.
Feng Zhu was not very tall. He was less than 1.7 meters, in fact. Among males, this didn't matter 20 years ago, but now, it was definitely a disadvantage. The influence of height would not be obvious when players were teenagers, but the disadvantage would show up after they became adults.
That was what professional sports were supposed to be like. No matter what kind of sports, being outstanding when one was young was not real success. Many talented teenagers became ordinary and unknown after they became adults.
One of the important reasons for this was a change of their physical condition.
Youngsters engaged in sports didn't need to be at high physical conditions, and there was no big gap between youngsters. But after they became adults, being too tall, too short, too fat, too thin, or having arms that were not long enough, legs that were too short, shoulders that were too broad, hands that were not big enough, etc, all those factors would be obstacles to progress.
Take basketball for example, it was almost impossible to be a professional basketball player if one's height was only around 1.8 meters. But if one was 2.2 meters tall, basketball coaches would find one voluntarily, even if that guy could not play basketball at all.
Beyond that, Feng Zhu's playing style was another problem. Feng Zhu was trained by his grandfather and father, whose techniques were popular in the last century. Of course, Feng Zhu, who was trained by them, hence, used obsolete techniques.
Pursuing speed and having fierce techniques were nothing wrong for teenage players, and Feng Zhu could easily win against all his peers. In fact, Feng Zhu became the star of hope by his techniques.
However, in the National Team coaches' eyes, such techniques were out of date. At least, those skills could not survive in the National Team today.
There were too many table tennis talents in the country. Many teenagers' techniques and experiences were worse than Feng Zhu, but they had better physical conditions. This gave them better potential. National Team coaches valued players' potentials, rather than their current abilities.
Because there were too many talented players in the National Team, immediate force was sufficient. A lot of players, who stayed in the National Team for 7 or 8 years, hadn't waited for the opportunity to become the major force, so how could Feng Zhu's inconspicuous achievements catch those coaches' attention?
Feng Zhu continued, "After the coach left, I started power exercises. I knew that, compared with those tall players, I didn't have any advantage in strength. The only thing I could do was to work extremely hard. If others exercised for 1 hour, I exercised for 2 hours. On techniques, I started making adjustments, and began to use strenuous techniques."
"I heard it from Coach Ping Wang!" Dai Li thought back for a while, then continued, "Coach Ping Wang said that your strength was great, your serving speed was very high, and your rotation of the ball was powerful. In this respect, many tall players were no match for you. Therefore, you are the No.1 of our team!"
When Dai Li was speaking, he greatly admired Feng Zhu in his heart. Although Feng Zhu lacked physical talent, he made up for it with efforts. In the respect of power, he had to make a lot of efforts, so that he could fight against big players.
There is no doubt that Feng Zhu is very hard-working. But I can't understand why such a diligent player bribed a coach in order to enter the National Team. Perhaps his obsession to enter in the National Team is too deep. Dai Li sighed in his heart.
By his side, Feng Zhu sighed, "I did obtain better strength, and changed my techniques. I had expected that I would be in the National Team by doing so. But two years ago, when National Team coaches came here for selection, I failed again."
"Why did you fail this time? You were 18 years old two years ago, which was not too old. It wasn't your age, was it?" asked Dai Li.
"It was flexibility. The coach thought that my technical movements were too rigid. They deemed that I was not flexible enough, which would influence many difficult technical movements and the continuity of actions. But I didn't have such problems in the past," answered Feng Zhu.
"Because of power exercises?" Dai Li asked at once.
Feng Zhu nodded, "The coaching staff analyzed it. My body flexibility declined because of overloaded power exercises."
Too much power exercising must lead to the decline of body flexibility. Perhaps there were many people who thought that, male gymnasts or divers who had many muscle groups, including eight abdominal muscles, could still make difficult technical movements. They were undoubtedly flexible. This had proved that muscle men could acquire high flexibility.
But in fact, those difficult technical movements were driven by power. Just like body varial in both gymnastics and diving, it was finished not by flexibility, but by great initial force and lumbar abdomen power in midair instead.
Overloaded exercising on muscles would decline the body's controllability. Many muscle men in the NBA, who had amazing talents, had poor free throw performance. That was because of physical controllability. They had too many muscles and too much power, which affected their strength of free throwing.
Plus, due to some mental factors' negative influences, they rarely threw accurately.
But on table tennis, flexibility was a necessity. From characteristics of ping-pong, it was a kind of a skillful sport. In professional contests, players had to make judgments within a few seconds, because of the high speed of the ball. And they had to switch fine stroke movements, which required flexible joints all over the athlete's body, and high expansion of action range. To achieve this, one must have strong body flexibility.
From technical development of ping-pong, a small ball in the platform had been more and more important. If the player could handle the ball in the platform successfully, one would not lose the game, even if he couldn't make trouble for his opponent. If one couldn't handle the ball satisfyingly, one's flaws would be exposed to, and seized by, his opponent.
To deal with in-platform balls, the player needed fine body flexibility. Body flexibility was closely related to players' sensitivity, speed, strength and endurance, all of which were essential factors for playing ping-pong. Having fine body flexibility could help players make bigger ranges of actions, as well as aiding them in improving joint flexibility and muscle elasticity. Hence, athletes could move easier, while saving more efforts. Therefore, for ping-pong players, low flexibility would be a shortage, let alone no flexibility at all.
National Team coaches selected the best player out of merely good ones. There was a huge ping-pong talents reserve, so the national team didn't worry about shortages of players. Even a tiny blemish would be a reason for rejection by National Team coaches.
Feng Zhu continued, "From then on, I had tried many exercises to improve my flexibility, but..."
"But the effect was not obvious, was it?" Dai Li interrupted him.
Feng Zhu nodded and agreed, "There was almost no effect. I was too old to practice flexibility, which was indeed a little late."
The lack of flexibility is indeed Feng Zhu's current main shortage. Dai Li thought.
Dai Li had studied Feng Zhu before, and already knew his shortage. His training program also aimed at enhancing flexibility. But, to a 20-year-old adult player, it was hard to enhance body flexibility. Female gymnasts, who had fine flexibility, were at their best status when they were 14-16 years old. They should probably retire at 18. The main reason was that they couldn't improve their flexibility anymore at that age, or even decline, no matter how many exercises they did.

Instead of residing alone in this hard-times, they looked for an apartment together and shared rent from the earnings they made.
Looking at each other now to find themselves earning a bit of recognition for their film, and feeling blessed to have all those tough times paid lastly, everyone had nothing but a proud smile for themselves.
David's stomach made a loud growl, and everyone laughed.
"Let's eat lunch first!" Parker announced to bring out the takeout bags.
"So, what are we doing?" Ivy asks without a clue while digging into her chow mein.
Bethany glanced at Parker and David haughtily to announce their plan of getting drunk and binge-watching movies for the rest of the day, eventually hoping to crash altogether on the couch.
They anticipated for Ivy to jump out in joy, knowing that she enjoys watching good movies, but Parker found Ivy's face turn to an endless maze. He wondered why, but he still heard her dubiously agree to their program.
Finishing their lunch paired with smooth champagne, the gang dived straight to watching films- a basket full of exotic choices: both old favorites and new likely ones.
As time passes by enjoying films and discussing their favorite scenes, one of them displayed tautness. 
Ivy's often departure to the bathroom appeared weird when she got caught red-hand by Bethany, who left her seat to grab more beers. Bethany asked Ivy of what happened in the movie. However, seeing Ivy struggle to answer, Parker stepped in to fill Bethany with the details.
Soon, Parker's eyes kept catching Ivy display restlessness with her presence. She appears not to be sick but reluctant as time passed. And her frequent visits to the bathroom spurred his suspicions. Other than him, none others doubted her strangeness since they matched her need to go with the number of beers she consumed.
When you got to go, you got to go! - They believed in the saying.
The next time when Ivy left her place, Parker noticed and sparring a few seconds, he went to follow her as well.
"I hope you two aren't making out!" Bethany exclaimed when she saw Parker leave his seat. Meanwhile, David couldn't care less of what went around him as his eyes fixated on the screen, and he enjoyed an old classic movie.
