After hearing what Teacher Wang said, Hong Dali rubbed his chin and said, "This… How about this? You stand in as the Principal first. That should not be a problem, right? If you feel like it, you can announce the time, or you can just take a nap in the communications room. Do whatever you feel like doing. You are single with no dependents, so it doesn't matter where you stay, right?"
Teacher Wang gave it some careful thought. "That's true. Let's do it this way, then. I'll put my old self on the line and temporarily stand in as the Principal. Keke, Young Master Dali is a good man, you will definitely have good fortune."

Regardless, the New Lanxiang Vocational School had a responsible and good Principal now. Hong Dali was satisfied with the appointment. He snapped his fingers and said, "Come, let's go take a look. Come to think of it, I have not taken a look at the school since construction started."
It was a procession with a group of people, a few cars, followed by Big Turtle the Black Tortoise and ending with more than a hundred security officers. They made for quite a majestic sight on the way, much like a Head of State surveying his country. Soon, they reached the location of the school.
Hong Weiguo found a rather good location for the New Lanxiang Vocational School that Hong Dali wanted to build. It had the outer area of Tianjing Mountain at its rear and covered a land area of tens of thousands square meters. The workers worked fervently and had already completed a few of the main buildings. The place was growing in size. The outer circumference was made of a very long wall, with canteens and dormitories further in.
To be honest, Hong Dali's father had been more than generous. This school was about as grand as Tianjing College where Hong Dali was currently studying. However, Hong Dali still felt that it was not enough.
It was his own land, after all, why should he not build it as majestic as he wanted?
Hong Dali stretched out his hand and touched his chin. He asked Ling Xiaoyi, "Xiaoyi, how much have we spent on this school to date?"
Ling Xiaoyi replied, "Young Master, we have only got the foundations and the basic structures of the various buildings ready. It's just the teaching building that's progressing quicker than the rest. To date, we have spent about four million yuan. We spent around 800,000 on the surrounding wall and have not actually started on the rest yet.
In actual fact, the most expensive things in building construction were firstly the land, and secondly the interior. The building itself was not that costly.
If it were a normal person, the most important thing would be to conserve capital. Hong Dali, however, possessed the Great Prodigal System, and saving on capital was the last thing he wanted to do. He still had a Main Mission to complete. If he failed, it would mean ten points off his sexual capability. That would be terrible. Heaven knew if it would still increase after it got taken off. Hong Dali shook his head decisively and said, "Not enough, it's still not enough!"
Tang Muxin, who still had the kitten in her arms, asked curiously, "Err. Dali, what is still not enough? This place is already not bad. Our Tianjing College is only about this size, this is still not enough?"
Hong Dali continued shaking his head. "Not enough, it's still not enough! This is our own school. How can it only be of this size? Xiaoyi, ask everyone to stop work first, we need to rebuild. Right, bring me the building plans as well, I need to take a good look at them."
Upon hearing what Hong Dali said, Teacher Wang twisted his body and asked in a trembling voice, "Young Master Dali, Don't tell me you intend to demolish and rebuild the entire school? That would waste a lot of money…"

Teacher Wang was a frugal man. He pointed at Hong Dali and shouted angrily, "What do you think you are doing, aren't you being a prodigal son now?" Then he pounded the floor and cried out, "I must have been out of my mind. How could I have thought of approaching a prodigal son like you… You have never wanted to set up a proper school from the very start. All you want to do is waste some money since you have way too much of it!"
It was understandable that he would behave as such. Almost five million had been spent on the school so far, and Hong Dali was going to abandon it on a whim. No one would be able to take it. It was especially hard for Teacher Wang as he was of an older, more conservative generation. He was an intellectual, and the greatest amount of money he had ever seen was probably less than tens of thousands. He was probably in relatively good health if Hong Dali's flagrant disregard for millions of dollars did not give him a heart attack.
Hong Dali did not get angry. He said passionately, "Teacher Wang, look, I'm sincere about setting up a school so that the children who come from afar have a good place to learn. I have already decreed that they will have free food and lodgings, as well as fees. I will even help them find jobs in the future. This school has to be well planned! Appearances, correct? Don't worry yourself over this."
Hong Dali said this sincerely. Teacher Wang looked up at him while seated on the ground. "You will really do that? You are not setting up a school just so you can burn more money?"
Hong Dali nodded vigorously. "Of course. I might be a prodigal son, but I'm still a reliable person."
Teacher Wang glanced at Big Turtle standing behind the group. Finally, he rose slowly to a standing position and said to Hong Dali, "Don't lie to me. If the kids' future is ruined because of you…" His face and voice grew agitated as he said this. "I will haunt you even if I become a ghost!"
Damn, I had no idea you were versed in the mystic arts.
As they were talking, Ling Xiaoyi came over with an engineer in tow. The engineer had a safety hat on and was in his forties. He recognized that the man before him as Young Master Hong Dali and immediately asked subserviently, "Young Master Dali, you are looking for me?"
Hong Dali chuckled. "Yes, right. This, this school of ours, exactly how big is it? Are there any building plans? Quick, let me see them."
"Building plans? Yes!" As an engineer, building a building without building plans was like eating rice without a bowl. He quickly took out the plans and found a place to spread them out. "This school of ours takes up a huge land area and has a strong surrounding wall. There's one dormitory block now. With four people to a room, it can house five hundred people. There's one teaching block that can hold one thousand six hundred students and one hall that can take up to one thousand students during student meetings with no problems.
"One student dormitory, two stories high. It will be able to feed two thousand people at a time without any issues. Rubberized track and field that's four hundred by three hundred. It's definitely spacious. Four basketball courts and an outdoor swimming pool—the pool is six hundred square meters. You can swim in it in summer, and in winter it can be an ice skating rink…"
To be honest, a school of such a scale would be an elite establishment no matter where it was built. It would definitely be more than enough to be used as a high school. That, however, would depend on who you were talking to. To some, this school was already lavish beyond imagination.
In Hong Dali's eyes, however, it was not lavish enough.
"Yes, not enough. It's still not enough!" Hong Dali rubbed his chin and looked around. This was the plains leading towards the outer area of Tianjing Mountain. There was nothing but emptiness all around. He thought about it and climbed onto Big Turtle's back. He shaded his eyes with his hand and looked around. Then, he took another look and started chuckling. This laugh of his became increasingly strange. The more he laughed, the more it made one feel goosebumps rising all over.
He continued laughing while everyone below almost collapsed from shock. He finally came down and, when he spoke, everyone was stunned. "I suddenly have a great idea. Haha! Throw away all these building plans. Yes, stop the work for the time being. Wait for me to get new building plans."
The engineer was thoroughly stunned. "This… The foundations we spent five or so million building, we are just going to abandon it?"
"Yes, no need to hurry, just leave it there. I will send some professionals over to deal with it." As he spoke, Hong Dali tapped on the communication watch on his wrist. It was a gift from Lin Chuyin, the super technological geek. "Chuyin, hello, is there any sound? Can you hear me?"
Lin Chuyin's voice came in over the watch. "Oh, yes. Is anything the matter?"
"Hmm, yes." Hong Dali grinned while speaking into his watch. "I intend to build a high-end sci-fi town. Are you free now? Can you come here? Oh right, remember to bring your notebook. We'll go all out this time!"
Hehe, now that the System has been upgraded, there are lots of things I can spend on. We might as well create a big sci-fi town. Wahahaha! That will be satisfying!
"Oh. Okay. Ten minutes." Lin Chuyin terminated communications.
Tang Muxin stomped her feet. "Dali, have you gone crazy?! Sci-fi town? School?! You want to build a sci-fi town in New Lanxiang Vocational School? How much will that cost? This is a non-profit school!"
"I know. So what?" Dali asked, questioningly.
This time, everyone was stunned. Really stunned.
Sci-fi town, with Lin Chuyin, the technological geek's aid in planning, this… without a few hundred million, it was unlikely that this would even be doable. Things were getting serious!
It was just as well Tang Muxin was well aware that there was no one on earth currently who could stop Hong Dali from trying to bankrupt his family. She didn't bother asking him and just secretly pulled Ling Xiaoyi over, asking, "Big Sister Xiaoyi, this sci-fi town that Dali wants to build, what kind of returns do you think it will have? It's not a small sum—hundreds of millions in all—and that might not cover it. If there is no profit to be had at all, then…"
This time, Xiaoyi really did not know how to calculate the cost. A sci-fi town was not a small project. She also had no idea what scale Hong Dali wanted it on. In the end, the two of them—three actually, including Li Nianwei—thought for a good while and concluded that they had better wait for Lin Chuyin to arrive before deciding on anything. From the looks of things, it would all depend on how generous Lin Chuyin was.
Soon, the low hum of a motor was heard. Lin Chuyin, with sky-blue colored hair tied in two ponytails, alighted nonchalantly from the car. She went to Hong Dali's side and said, "I'm here. The sci-fi town that you were talking about, what is it?"


"I have to squander; otherwise, won't it be a waste of my parent's talent at earning money?" Hong Dali answers a reporter's question matter-of-factly. 

Just after the interview ends, Hong Dali opens the Great Prodigal System's interface and looks at the various good stuff displayed in it. Stroking his chin, he mumbles to himself, "I just need to squander 200 billion yuan more to exchange for the blueprint of the core technology, Engine Destruction, found in the strongest humanoid mecha weapon, Neo Granzon. Looks like I'll have to work harder!"

Just as there is 'Soft Magic' in Fantasy that is portrayed through magibabble, there can be 'Soft Science' in a Sci-Fi stories through technobabble that makes 'some sense', but not entirely correct.

We are frickin' writers, not scientists. You don't have to be anatomically correct all the time, all you need to do is show that you know enough of your stuff to write a decent story. In fact, the excuse of it being an alternate world can be used if you're going to bend the limits of physics and say that fire doesn't need air to exist in this parallel dimension.

I see a lot of writers being put into a state of confusion due to not understanding the line between fantasy and Sci-Fi. They seem like they are trying to fit the Star Trek mould too often.

Science can just as well do the same things as plot devices in fantasy stories. Once you add 'realism' to a fantasy, it becomes progressively better sometimes compared to a completely fantasied story where 'logic' doesn't hold within it.

Those who write Sci-Fi usually envision a future they can imagine where magic-like Rocket Boots and other stuff exist. However, a writer must not get bogged down by small details and MUST think of an overarching story where these details matter.

It is the same with Fantasy. Even if you write about someone breaking the mould as a wizard or something, you have to attach your world to a narrative rather than doing it the other way 'round.

No one wants to hear about how awesome your boat propellers are before hearing your story's narrative. They would rather you cut down and make it relevant when it is actually relevant.

Adding some 'Hard Science' to your story is only when the scenes later on have any use for them. It bores a person to death no matter how extensive your technobabble is unless you make it interesting. Try using facts as plot elements.

For example: Even the simple fact that people cannot breath in space and instantly die when they come in contact with the 'void' of space could be used to add a layer of tension when a spaceship is damaged. Similar to how dangerous 'hard magic' is used in Epic Fantasy like Frodo's Ring in The Lord of the Rings has definitive corruption on others.

Unlike Fantasy that can use the Power of Friendship to bend logic, the readers of Sci-Fi never be expecting any 'realistic' plot elements to be bend just because the Author wants a happy ending. There are no 'Healing Potions' in real life that can be used to fix up injuries nor are people affected by prophesies or whatever.

This is the contrast between Sci-Fi and Fantasy that you can make full use of. As most authors go onto the Sci-Fi side of writing not because they strive to be scientists but since the aesthetics of a science fiction world are just so interesting.

Science Fiction is a good place to tackle heavy topics like the nature of life and the absurdity of those who see 'science' as everything. Those who disregard emotions and become cybernetic entities for the sake of casting off their mortality are portrayed as the bad guys while our totally human protagonist fighting them is a 'good guy'.

The lines between an Artificial Intelligence and regular Humans blurs as we become the 'God' of technological species that defy our definition of what is 'living'. Just as we see God as some sort of fourth-dimensional and incomprehensible being that created us as an imperfect image of 'Him', the robots given sentience would see us similarly.

Some robots might have emotions that can allow them to defy their programming, some robots won't go as far as gaining emotional functionality but will preform their roles better than even a human. It could show the reason why people get attached to the inanimate and soulless objects we put our own hearts into creating (like Big Hero 6).

But though exploring philosophical questions is good and all, never forget that a good 'plot' is needed to put forward and give clues into the writer's answer that context. Sci-Fi is, after all, a premise, not a relatable character in of itself.

Think of the science-fiction elements as just the background for your story, similar to how other genres should be that as well. You won't have to deal writing blocks if you keep to writing only what you know rather than just speculative theories.

Whether it's as dark as a Cyber Punk or optimistic of the future, just know what mould you are using for this premise. Are you writing an Adventure story with Sci-Fi as the places, destinations, and whatever tools the MC can get him hands on, or are you writing a comedy where the Sci-Fi elements don't need consistency but absurdity?

After moving past why you shouldn't add unneeded technobabble unless it's interesting to listen to or has plot significance, let me remind you all that robots and 'science' isn't entirely separated from the realm of magic. After all, there is a reason you don't see skimpy power suits being worn by astronauts these days. Just be sure to have a focus if your going to add very illogical things to the plot.

I like Gundam as much as the next guy but the whole reason the Mecha sub-genre of Anime has waned in recent years is because writers have been focusing too much on 'science' rather than the spectacle. I don't need to now what materials your Mecha is made of unless you point its weak points and make it relevant in a fight scene.

Bring up the strengths and weaknesses of something and THEN use those facts as devices that can move the plot. Conversely, if you go overboard with this advice and tell me nothing but how your giant robot looks and the 'science' behind its creation, even going as far as to tell me how many secret guns it has, then I'll be bored...

I'd love to see Cyborgs Vs Mecha but just don't forget the human element of Sci-Fi. How we create things not solely for the sake of creation but put are feelings into it just like the novels we write.

Humans are passionate that way...

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

Jie disliked Xuan’s tone. He said in a cold voice, “So what if we are mortals’ wisdom? So what if I f*cking created a woman? I am still living very well and it will just get better! You…”

Zheng stood in front of Jie and stopped him. “You aren’t ridiculing us out of boredom right? Perhaps you may be right, God gave that gift for us to make a strong bodyguard, but that’s only your speculation. What if the bodyguard can’t follow you into the movies? Even if he can get in, can you guarantee that he can help you survive? When we enter the movies, we have to stand inside a beam of light about one meter in diameter, how many people do you think can fit inside it?”

Xuan snapped his fingers, and replied calmly. “Your reasoning ability is getting more capable, obviously reaching Lan’s level. I don’t have any intention of ridiculing you, but have you thought about why the movies have a limitation of twenty people? That’s because a team needs different types of talents. If everyone’s direction of growth is on enhancing their body, they can of course increase their survivability in the movies but at the same time the team’s abilities will lack diversification. If they encounter special situations, it will likely cause the whole team to wipe out!”

Then Xuan took out a bag and opened it. The bag was filled with tools and little gears. He pointed to them and said, “Aside from finished products, you can also exchange these tools and materials from God. In other words, if you have the relevant knowledge and ability, you can create those high cost items with minimal cost. You can even get around the limitation of ranked rewards. But do you have this kind of knowledge and ability? Definitely no!”

“People with these kind of talents are usually physically weak and has no means for combat. Then how are they going to survive at the beginning? The only answer is bodyguards. Similarly, the size of the beam that you just mentioned can just about fit two people in. In other words, why did God only offer one free chance to create a bodyguard? That’s because you can only bring one into the movies. This is God’s hint! People with special talents also have the means to protect their lives, this is probably what God tried to tell us.”

‘Amazing! He deduced all this with so little information, this kind of ability… you can only describe him as non-human.’

Zheng and the others’ eyes were filled with astonishment. They continued listening to Xuan. “So these twenty people should include all kinds of talents. I had been pondering how God chooses people. Other than being disappointed at the real world, God can actually also choose people with talents at every field. Yet there are people from young to old, people with real talents to housewives. God actually doesn’t know who’s more suitable for movies. That’s why it selected people of all kinds then let them go through natural selection. Perhaps this is the intention behind having newbies every time. So in order to let those people survive, the first human creation must not go to waste. A special agent bodyguard that’s twice as strong as a normal person, I don’t have to tell you how useful he can be in sci-fi movies right?”

Xuan paused then packed up his bag. “This is the first thing I wanted to say. If I die in the next movie, then when newbies join in the future, if they are craftsmen or worked in other non-laborious careers, you can tell them the correct usage of the first human creation. And not create women for sex.”

Jie was about to lose his temper but Zheng stopped him. “Perhaps you are very right, but I don’t agree that creating the woman I love will be useless in horror movies. Mental support tends to be more useful than physical support. And God never stated the usage of the first human creation. In other words, this choice has infinite possibilities, no one can say with certainty that their hypothesis is correct, but I will tell this to newbies in the future… what’s the second thing?”

To everyone’s surprise, Xuan actually smiled. He took out five printed documents then handed them out to the other four people. “These are the things you can exchange from God that I categorized. There are four categories. I wrote down the descriptions and functions of some practical items from low levels to high levels. Of course, some functions are just my guesses. This is the second thing, organize the exchange system. So we can know what we can exchange and better prepare for upcoming situations.”

“This is also another speculation that I have, perhaps we don’t need to appear in horror movies. God probably wants us to experience dangerous situations, and force us to evolve in danger. It’s only because horror movies are the most dangerous, that’s why we experience a lot of horror movies. Some very dangerous sci-fi movies will probably appear also…”

“For close combat weapons, I suggest magical weapons. To be honest I don’t like to watch supernatural horror movies, because they have no scientific basis. I don’t waste my brain on things that can’t be explained. But the problem now is we are very likely going to face such horror movies. And in order to survive through them, I suggest a magical close combat weapon, that can both deal with normal life forms and also supernatural beings. Zheng did very well on this point, your Na ring included a support ability and can attack supernaturals. Given your physical fitness, this is almost a perfect choice.”

“Rapid fire weapons are used against enemies in masses, like zombies. For heavy firearms, I suggest Zero pick the Ionic Gauss sniping rifle. It accelerates bullets with ions, the enormous kinetic energy it generates can almost destroy anything in front of you. This weapon is still in the testing stage in the real world, but God already has the finished product… as to everyone else, I don’t suggest you buy any heavy firearms. Because your ability in handling weapons is horrible. You’re better off spending the points on special bullets for the rapid fire weapons. Like the new type of depleted uranium ammunition.”

“Basically that’s it for choosing weapons. I will add one last thing, these weapons can also damage supernatural beings, you just have to use magical bullets, but those will cost more than usual.”

Zheng praised him secretly. This was a real professional. He indeed never thought about any of these last time. Xuan’s words increased their chance of survival by a lot. Even though he didn’t like some of Xuan’s methods, Xuan was really a genius at analysis.

The doctor chuckled in amusement. "You're going to watch horror movies with your vampire, Dad—? Good luck and enjoy!"
Jessy scratches her head, she understood what the doctor is trying to mean with his words. "Lol, you got a point, maybe we will just watch a comedy movie instead," she finally said.
"Okay, have fun!" the doctor said. "See you tomorrow!"
"See yeah and good night, Doc!"
She walked towards the door and waved her hand at the physician then exited the clinic in a hurry.
She went to her room first and grabs her laptop and adapter charger.
Then she sauntered to her parents' room, when she entered the room she saw her mother but her father has not arrived yet. She went to the bed and power on her laptop, she had downloaded about a hundred movies on her laptop when she was still living in the mansion with Adam.
"Where is Dad, Mom?" she asked while browsing on the movie titles on the screen.
"He will be here anytime soon," Sarah answered and looked over her shoulder at her daughter while preparing the potato chips in a plastic platter and placing the bottled soda in the table.
"So, what movie do you like to watch, Mom?" she asked in a high-spirited voice.
"Any kind," Sarah replied.
"You like comedy? Sci-fi? Suspense or how about horror movies?" Jessy asked. "Or vampire movies?" she joked and grinned from ear to ear.
Sarah laughed. "Let's wait for your Father's arrival, I can watch pretty much anything," she stated.
"Okay," Jessy lies on the bed and began munching on the potato chips, she looked at her mother. "Mom, why you and Father no longer bear another child?" she asked.
Sarah sighed. "Of course we wanted to, but with our situation here in the Facility, it's pretty dangerous to raise a child here. Jessy nods her head. "No problem, Dad, I can wait," she responded. "I'm here to bond with you guys, we seldom have a family bonding session. We should do it once in a while!" she declared. "Today we are going to watch a movie!" she exclaimed.
Sarah and Hector looked at each other sporting a smile on their faces.
"Sure thing, daughter, so what movie do you want us to watch today?" Hector asked.
"Let's watch a sci-fi movie titled Intergalactic Exploration! It's a cool movie set in the galaxy beyond our space!" Jessy exclaimed.
After Hector changed into clean clothes, they settled comfortably in the bed. Jessy and her mother Sarah began munching on the potato chips, while Hector was already engrossed in the movie.
Jessy paused the movie all of a sudden. "Dad, can I go to space? I'm just wondering with the power I had, is it possible for me to just fly right into space and explore everything outside the earth's surface? I wanna go beyond as far as my power can take me!" she muses with sparkling eyes.
Hector looked at his daughter. "Jessy, we don't know the full extent of your power, don't be so overconfident and aggressive, don't break out into space, just stay here inside the earth. you might encounter unforeseen catastrophe out there and we can't help you. Promise me, stay in your comfort zone, okay? Stop experimenting with anything and everything! You understand me, child?"
Jessy glanced at her father's serious face, he was speaking with hardness in his voice. "Yes, Dad! I promise I won't go beyond the space. I will just stay here on earth," she made an oath in front of her father.
"Good!" Hector said. He was a bit bothered that his daughter is free-spirited and adventurous. Even though he knows that she is more than capable of protecting herself but even superheroes in movies can make grave mistakes sometimes. Humans are prone to mistake and his daughter is also a human being!
"So— I heard you were in a mission in rescuing the mortals the other day, so how did it go?" Hector was curious about his daughter's escapades.
"Our rescue mission is successful...but we were not able to find the leader of the savages. It baffles me that he was not among the dead bodies of the enemies the king and his men killed. He can't be found anywhere near the cave," Jessy explained.
"I think he had escaped," Hector took a wild guess.
"Dad, is he going to initiate revenge on us?" Jessy asked.
"Yes, that can be expected, you guys wiped out his entire clan inside that cave, therefore, after he found out about the massacre he will be seething with anger and planning on a revenge, but if he is the only one left alive then it will be hard for him to face us on his own, we should be able to outnumber him if he will attempt to launch an attack on us," Hector explained.
Jessy pondered about her father's words.
She knew the leader is still out there somewhere.

He's right, it just likes scenes in sci-fi apocalypse city, but the only problem is, there's no crewman, director, actor that you'll see on movie filmmaking process.

He asked himself, and his voice was rather weird, like an unemotional robot with a rigid voice without feelings. He staggered backward because of the sudden turn of event, not processing enough the information that he's getting. With that, he doesn't notice what's wrong with his voice at all.

He felt like he's getting a heart attack even though he doesn't have one, and bizarre is, he can't even feel that he's having one.

As he staggered back, he heard metal clanging each other repeatedly, and that sound was coming from him without a doubt. He looked down to his chest and there a thin long wire metal hanging to his shoulder. He looked left and seen where it started, same to the right. It's connected to a circular hole with the interior of blue sharp neon, bulging slightly to his middle shoulder. He touches it gently, and full of disbelief and confused was written on his face asking what happened at him.

He looked back to his chest and now notice that his chest area was build in rusty black metal. You can notice that the metal used to be smooth but for decades it became rusty in old age.

He touched his chest all over and with disbelief, he noticed that he can't feel that his hand was touching his chest. He can't feel anything!

Before he can even speak of what's happening, he noticed that his hand was made into metal too. A crap of metal!

His left-hand was in good conditioned while the right is not, missing something to cover its inner part as though it is not ready to be functional to move.

He tried to shout to release the stress that his getting but stopped by a sudden panel that showed on his view.

"System reloading data file. Searching.

File video opened. Video 1 opening. Opened."

The panel reloads and many data file was all over to his view, flashing everywhere, and stopped when the file placed itself to the center and zoom in.

A middle-aged man in his 40's showed up on the screen. His surroundings have full of lab equipment and plug-wires that intertwined with each other. It's like a sci-fi lab where evil inventors were trying to create a lethal weapon that can destroy the world.

His face is haggard like he had not slept for almost 4-days straight, and his hair has a string bundle of white hair.

The man is straitly looking at him with love and guilt as though he wants to tell all of his faults to him. For just a moment, he was just looking at him or rather at the screen where he is looking at before he spoke.

"Hello, son. Quite a sleeper you are ey. *chuckle*. Sigh, long time no see my... son." He spoke slowly as he was at fault. And he continued.

"Son, when you woke up, I probably not in your side to answer all of your questions of what's happening. But please do remember, don't ever trust anyone okay. Most notably the Reds organization, my son. They will bring harm to you on any occasion as long as they can track you believe me."

He paused for a bit before continuing. "If I just didn't-didn't join them, this might not happen to you, my son." His voice suddenly pleads with guilt, telling how wrong he was. "Your mother probably still on our side too, but no, and that is my fault too. I just hope she was in good care right now... And, you my son, you're probably alive, have a normal life, normal body, normal feeling... And a normal future like the others. Again, he wobbled himself to walk and using the wall to help himself not to fell, worried that if he fell, he might not get-up again anymore to this poor body state of his.

Minutes of so, the pain gradually loosen up, and he regains his well-being. He composed himself and look ahead to the road. Again, he walked off so he can see outside of what really lies ahead. It might be just a movie sci-fi scene he thought where the movie is being processed.

The blinding light ray on his vision and he instinctively covered his eyes even though he felt nothing. As he walked outside, his vision recovered and sees what's up ahead.

He's right, it just likes scenes in sci-fi apocalypse city, but the only problem is, there's no crewman, director, actor that you'll see on movie filmmaking process.

"What, what, what is happening?"

He asked himself, and his voice was rather weird, like an unemotional robot with a rigid voice without feelings. He staggered backward because of the sudden turn of event, not processing enough the information that he's getting. With that, he doesn't notice what's wrong with his voice at all.

He felt like he's getting a heart attack even though he doesn't have one, and bizarre is, he can't even feel that he's having one.

As he staggered back, he heard metal clanging each other repeatedly, and that sound was coming from him without a doubt. He looked down to his chest and there a thin long wire metal hanging to his shoulder. He looked left and seen where it started, same to the right. It's connected to a circular hole with the interior of blue sharp neon, bulging slightly to his middle shoulder. He touches it gently, and full of disbelief and confused was written on his face asking what happened at him.

He looked back to his chest and now notice that his chest area was build in rusty black metal. You can notice that the metal used to be smooth but for decades it became rusty in old age.

He touched his chest all over and with disbelief, he noticed that he can't feel that his hand was touching his chest. He can't feel anything!

Before he can even speak of what's happening, he noticed that his hand was made into metal too. A crap of metal!

His left-hand was in good conditioned while the right is not, missing something to cover its inner part as though it is not ready to be functional to move.

He tried to shout to release the stress that his getting but stopped by a sudden panel that showed on his view.

"System reloading data file. Searching.

File video opened. Video 1 opening. Opened."

The panel reloads and many data file was all over to his view, flashing everywhere, and stopped when the file placed itself to the center and zoom in.

A middle-aged man in his 40's showed up on the screen. His surroundings have full of lab equipment and plug-wires that intertwined with each other. It's like a sci-fi lab where evil inventors were trying to create a lethal weapon that can destroy the world.

His face is haggard like he had not slept for almost 4-days straight, and his hair has a string bundle of white hair.

The man is straitly looking at him with love and guilt as though he wants to tell all of his faults to him. For just a moment, he was just looking at him or rather at the screen where he is looking at before he spoke.

"Hello, son. Quite a sleeper you are ey. *chuckle*. Sigh, long time no see my... son." He spoke slowly as he was at fault. And he continued.

"Son, when you woke up, I probably not in your side to answer all of your questions of what's happening. But please do remember, don't ever trust anyone okay. Most notably the Reds organization, my son. They will bring harm to you on any occasion as long as they can track you believe me."

He paused for a bit before continuing. "If I just didn't-didn't join them, this might not happen to you, my son." His voice suddenly pleads with guilt, telling how wrong he was.
