The tent was very spacious and it was not as cramped as he had thought it would be. There were two beds, two cupboards and two desks which were arranged neatly.

"There used to be two people, but you're the only one now."

"Yes," Elder Fan replied nonchalantly, "they have all left. At the moment, there are only two of us in the Sharp Vigor Battalion, but now you've joined us!"
Xu Cihang added, "There were six people the day before, but only the two of us returned."
"At the beginning, there were thirty people in our camp." Elder Fang pointed at the surrounding tents. "It was quite boisterous. However, when the battle began, the Sharp Vigor Battalion was heavily overwhelmed. Our men were like a bunch of dumplings that were fried in a wok and eaten!"

"There's no need to do so." Xu Cihang twitched his lips and commented dismissively, "If I were you, I would've kept quiet and laid low. Once I have become a Priest, I would get rid of this Altar Leader and let him have a taste of his own medicine."
Chu Li said, "He was in Falling Autumn City. After this battle, he would probably become a Priest."
"Sigh… No other choice, then." Xu Cihang nodded. "You can only take action as early as possible. You're unfortunate."
Chu Li smiled. "Can't help it, that was the only thing I could do."
He could tell that the two men respected what he did and this brought all three of them closer together. Everyone liked a person who honored friendships.
"I doubt the three of us will live long." Fan Yang chuckled. "You'll meet your loved ones soon. I'm the most pitiful one, I don't even have a loved one!"
As they chatted, the soldier in armor returned again. This time, he was holding a long, sheathed blade in one hand and a set of armor. When he entered, he threw the items on the ground. "All set!"
He left as soon as he finished speaking. It was as if he was afraid of coming into contact with bad luck.
While Xu Cihang stared at the back of the soldier and snorted, his eyes gleamed with ferocity.
Fan Yang laughed. "Come, try it and see whether it fits. An armor is something that will protect you."
With that, he got up and handed the armor to Chu Li.
Chu Li held it in his hand. It was light and it felt like cloth armor. However, he tapped it and found it to be very tough. Although its quality was not as good as his floating silkworm treasured clothing, it still helped with blocking attacks.
He picked up the long blade and unsheathed it. The sharp blade glimmered under the light. It was not a treasure blade, but it was still razor-sharp.
Chu Li nodded with satisfaction.
"What do you think? Does it suit you?" Fan Yang asked. "It isn't as good as the weapons in the Holy Church of Light."
Chu Li remarked, "It isn't that bad as compared to the ones in the Holy Church."
Fan Yang smiled. "Is it really that good?"
Chu Li nodded. "The Holy Church of Light has a Divine Infantry Hall and the crafted weapons are similar to this one. Of course, the treasure blades which are a cut above are better than this."
"Sigh… I heard the martial arts world of the Qiu Dynasty has a Royal Blade Palace with an abundance of treasure blades." Fan Yang sighed. "If we have a treasure blade, we will have an easier time on the battlefield."
"Get real, Elder Fan!" Xu Cihang scoffed.
Chu Li placed the long blade aside and put on the armor.
"Let's spar together." Fan Yang chuckled. "From today onwards, we are on the same team. We'll know each other's strengths and weaknesses too."
Other than that, they too wanted to learn about the martial arts techniques of the Holy Church of Light's disciples. It would be exciting if they could defeat the Holy Church's disciples.
The three of them arrived in the martial arts field. Each of them held an ironwood blade that was as heavy as an actual blade. It was so heavy that it would hurt if one was hit with the ironwood blade.

The soldier in armor was the same person who brought Chu Li here. His surname was Jiang and his full name was Jiang Jinfu, the General's personal scribe.
Bearing a wide smile on his face, Fan Yang approached him.
"Elder Fan, I shall hand them over to you. They are prisoners on death row from the imperial court, none of them are good guys!" Jiang Jinfu declared.
Fan Yang nodded with a laugh. "Just hand them to me!"
"Train them properly, or else they will face instant death when they enter the battlefield!" Jiang Jinfu ordered.
"No problem!" Fan Yang smiled.
Jiang Jinfu raised his voice. "Zhao Dahe, the newcomer! Come with me to get the equipment!"
Chu Li sat still on his bed as if he did not hear anything.
Fan Yang spoke quickly, "There's no need for Old Zhao. I'll go there with Xiao Xu!"
"Eh?" Jiang Jinfu looked at him with a frown.
Fan Yang grinned. "He has been training hard these past few days."
Jiang Jinfu's expression darkened. "Looks like I can't order him around!"
Fan Yang smiled. "He's busy, but we're free!"

It was a famous place in the Northern Continent — Sul'Tharra. Known for their warm reception, the area was an accessible location for nobles from all around the world to visit. This was especially so for those who were conferred titles of nobility due to their military backgrounds. Therefore, it was rather common to spot quite a few captains within the army sauntering around the streets, swords dangling at their waists.

To the dismay of many citizens, hosting such influential figures at all points of the year was exhausting. As such, there was a spot in Sul'Tharra where several powerful figures would usually stay in for the night. Naturally, this place was the church. An oratory of enormous size, sporting four separate spires which seemed to rival the nearby mountains in height. Nothing in a thousand kilometers could match this chapel's splendor, so it was the perfect hotspot for foreigners.

Even now, a few men of varying sizes were praying inside the spacious halls. With two rows of benches on each side of the room, a lengthy blood-red carpet was unfurled in between. Accentuated by the elegant paintings on the walls, the chandeliers hanging from above truly made the church a work of art.

Kneeling on the carpet, two middle-aged men and one young man were praying toward a statue. Their expressions conveyed the utmost of sincerity, and even the priest in the far corner of the room couldn't help but nod at the sight.

Clad in sturdy steel, the two middle-aged clearly hailed from an illustrious military family. Two long swords were clipped to both of their belts, sheathed in goatskin and hard leather. On the hilts of the blades, a sigil that represented a roaring lion presented itself. Although not too grand in appearance, it was this very background that allowed both of them to enter the church without disarming.

On the far right of the carpet, just nearly touching the granite, the young man was a stark contrast to the other two. He adorned a simple tunic that was coupled with a pair of black slacks. His brown shoes were run down, and the hair that greasily draped over his eyes indicated he was in dire need of a shower. Thankfully, the church allowed anyone to pray during the evening, no matter the financial situation.

Cheeks sunken in, the malnourished youth was the first to stand up. A strange light gleamed within his ash mauve eyes, but the self-deprecating smile on his face meant that whoever he was attempting to speak to did not answer back. Sighing, he scratched the sides of his right cheek and began to walk out of the church. Right now, only he could hear the strange robotic voice reverberating in his ears.

"So, I can't become a priest either, huh?" The boy whispered to himself on his way out, voice tinged with disappointment.

Now known as Leon Arthurion, the blonde-haired teen had not always been a resident of this world. Just two weeks ago, he had been living on Earth as your everyday white-collar worker. Going to work five days a week and busting his buttocks off seven hours each day for a minimal wage. With no real goals or hobbies to speak of, Leon spent most of his time drinking at bars with his friends. He enjoyed playing billiards at the pubs and playing videogames when he was alone.

Abandoned as a child, Leon was adopted from an early age. Usually, this would place him in a loving family, but he received the exact opposite. Used for nothing more than the stipends from the government, he was pretty much ignored for most of his youth. Often times, he would ponder as to how his family made it through the strict regulations set in place for adopting.

As such, it was without much loss to Earth that he was suddenly transported into an entirely different world. Equipped with nothing more than his modern knowledge, which was admittedly hazy, Leon was launched into his current gaunt body. And, honestly, the kid didn't fare much better than he did on Earth. Born into the slums, Leon transmigrated into an even more pathetic life.

Then, when he was at the cusp of despair, a robotic voice sounded out in his head. Introducing itself as a "system" of some sort, Leon was once again enlivened. He had indulged in many games when he was back on Earth, so he was quick to the uptake. Furthermore, there were plenty of novels that depicted such miraculous encounters. Just, none of them started off as bad as his did.

However, just when things were starting to look up, never in his wildest imagination could he have ever imagined having such lousy talent. No matter which class he tried to become, it would always end in failure. As a result, Leon strutted down the crowded streets with a dejected smile.

'Why is it so hard to possess a natural affinity toward one of the various classes?' Leon mused to himself, sighing deeply.

Over the last week, he tried converting to a multitude of different classes. Praying at the church to transform into a priest, or hitting a wooden dummy to become a warrior. To no avail, he was always informed of his bad affinity or lack thereof. Thus, with no talents to speak of, it wasn't very easy for him to even procure food.

It was with these depressing thoughts in mind that he eventually arrived at his home. Located in a secluded alleyway, a small tent made out of straw welcomed Leon. Weathered down by the elements, it couldn't be considered sturdy, but it was all he had. No matter how bad a home, it was still a home. At least, that's what Leon comforted himself with.

He pulled apart the ragged drapes hanging from one side of the entrance to the other and slipped into the tent, sitting down in the middle. Light escaped through some holes in the straw, revealing the insides of Leon's tent. On the ground, a small pillow was used for his bed, and some bones littered the edges. Toward the entrance, two empty bottles were firmly secured into the dirt; they were used for catching rainwater.

Once seated, Leon began deliberating about his class. The system had given him a mission, but there was no advice to help. It was due to his own efforts that he had figured out the requirements for a warrior and priest, but his talents were subpar. So now, he had to try and shoot for a different class, but which one?

Suddenly, the sound of rushed footsteps entered Leon's ears. In response, he raised his chin and squinted his eyes. Pushing aside the drapes, he stepped out of his tent to see an old and decrepit man standing just a few breaths away.

Shaking, the older man was barely able to keep sturdy with the thick cane at his side. "Leon, have you heard about the recruitment fliers?" He asked in an excited voice, taking a breath in between every few words.

"The recruitment fliers? What are you talking about, Ronny?" Leon questioned, tilting his head to the side.

Eyes brightening, Ronny took a few steps forward. "My boy, your time has finally come!" He announced.

Leon rolled his eyes and placed the palms of his hands on Ronny's shoulders. "Calm down, just what is getting you so riled up?" He inquired, chuckling. "I haven't seen you so excited since I gave you that chicken bone; the first piece of meat you've eaten in a decade!"

Apparently, Leon's words had an effect, and Ronny calmed down a bit. Coughing into his hand, Ronny continued with a much more gentle grin. "There will be a skirmish in Bloodthorn Forest just thirty moons from now," he said. "The military has begun taking in any male under the age of twenty to participate in the battle. Naturally, this means you can become a soldier!"

A little surprised, Leon wanted to respond, but Ronny continued pestering. "Before you even think of declining such a great proposal, think of the salary! Ten copper coins each week. That's nearly half a silver in a month!"

"Uncle Ronny, the terms are exceptional, but great reward always comes with high risk," Leon said coolly. "The military wouldn't hire snot-nosed brats so quickly unless they were in dire need of new recruits. This also means that whatever they are facing in thirty days from now is a real threat that cannot be underestimated!"

Although his words made sense, Ronny was not at all impressed. "Who the hell cares?" He asked, glancing down at Leon's stomach. "You'll die of starvation in a week, or worse, you'll be lulled in by a slave trader. At least this way, you have a chance to be something, be better!"

"Ronny..." Leon grumbled, unable to refute his remarks.

The old man had been somewhat of a father figure to the boy before Leon had taken over, so some of those feelings still remained. As such, there was no real way to just come out and say he had been magically blessed with a system, or that his soul was swapped. No matter where he went, he'd be considered a crazy person.

Just as Leon was going to continue arguing with Ronny, a robotic voice whispered into his ear.

[Host is too weak to carry on without proper nourishment. Without selecting a class, you will die within the next month]

"...huh?" Leon blurted out, unintentionally.

Unaware of the robot talking to Leon, Ronny was immediately enraged by his stupor. "What about my words do you not understand?" He roared. "Goddamn it, you unfilial dummy, I'm trying to give you something to cling onto! The life of thievery and begging is not meant for such a young'un, you deserve something more — a life!"

Leon was still attempting to comprehend the words of the system, but it only took him a moment to perceive the path of least resistance. "Okay, okay, Ronny, I get it," he surrendered. "Where do you write up an application?"

A bit surprised, Ronny's wrathful expression was instantly replaced by one of bliss. "At the city hall. You just need to sign your name, and they'll enlist you right away!"

"Sounds easy. Do I need to be literate?" Leon probed.

Laughing, Ronny slapped Leon on the back. "Of course not, silly. Usually, only the nobles and high-ranking generals can read and write. Though, if you render great meritorious service, I'm sure you could learn!"

Leon nodded.

It had to be understood that in a new world, they would use entirely different languages than the ones on Earth. Therefore, although he could speak relatively fluently due to the kid's past memories, there was no knowledge regarding reading, nor writing. Unfortunately, unlike a good portion of the games and books he had read in the past, there was no free meal.

"Mithril, more than 50% pure," he muttered to himself. He placed the ore in a wooden trunk to his left. He then picked up another ore from the pile in front of him and began the observations again.
After a few minutes, he shook his head, muttering "silver ore" before throwing it far, far away into a rattan basket.
This difference in treatment was due to the vast disparity in value between the two types of ores. The silver ore had little value, and even if it were to be refined into sterling silver, it would also only be used for silver coins. For the stone that he had just gotten rid of, after extraction, it would only be able to form about ten silver coins. After paying for the extraction process, it would only be worth two silver coins. Two silver coins, to Hopes, was a meager amount. When he treated his friends to meals, the total bill would exceed that significantly.
However, Mithril was different. Although the one that he had just picked up was a lower-value Mithril, after extraction, its value could be counted in terms of gold coins. On average, it was worth about one gold coin per gram. The piece that he had just examined could extract about 40 grams of Mithril, and that would be about forty to fifty gold coins!
If this had been the naturally-occurring Mithril mine, one piece would be worth about two hundred gold coins or more. If it were made into an actual product, it could even be worth more than five hundred gold coins, and that was higher than his pay for a month!
Coming from different backgrounds, one's status was naturally different as well. Even though there were many men on this expedition related to mining, the people on the exploration team were mainly appraisers for the two masters, helping them to select materials and extracting secret silver ore. However, the masters were in charge of choosing the innate secret silver mines from the secret silver ore. With this difference in workload, there was also a difference in authority and thus, status.
Hopes' salary, along with about seven or eight of the workers, added up to that of one master's salary. This included the bonus allowance that they received from the Republic of Northwest. Otherwise, if it were strictly in accordance with the standard of the Commonwealth, it would be only a minor fraction of the master's pay.
However, Hopes was satisfied with his current pay as it was suitable for his job scope. He knew that he had limited abilities, and thus, this was the best pay that he could get. For example, if a piece of naturally-occurring secret silver ore and acquired Mithril were given to him, he really would not be able to tell them apart. To do so, the easiest way would be to use magic. One had to use the advanced identification spell. However, this spell was an unconventional magic technique that could generally only be achieved by a high-level wizard, and that would be a waste of his time and energy. A normal, high-ranking mage would also only be able to do this spell five to six times a day, and each spell could only identify two to three of the ores. That would be an incredible waste of magic overall! If not for any special deals, at the market rate, such an inspection would cost thousands of gold coins… When compared like this, the masters of identification's pay did not seem that ludicrous after all.
This was why Hope's friend, Cambrona, constantly urged him to train hard while he was young to become a high-level druid and earn himself both wealth and status in the future.
Among the Void gods in Void Mask City, the God of Agriculture had a special bias for druids. Currently, he had about twenty high-level druids invested in him. His church also had few pastors, and the spellcasters were mostly druids.
The God of Agriculture was developing technology to improve agriculture so that people could gain more resources from the limited arable land. "Another silver ore!" He threw yet another piece of ore into the rattan basket. Hopes felt rather tired and stood up to take a break. He walked over to the poolside to wash his hands and take a walk in the camp.
Choosing ores was a meticulous and detailed task that required immense focus. If one was not in the right mood, it would affect the quality and speed of work. Thus, it would be wise to take breaks every now and then. Looking at Hopes' free and easy style, the workers from the Commonwealth of Golden Coins stared on in envy. There were many differences between the workers of the Commonwealth and the Republic. For example, in terms of workers' treatment, the Commonwealth workers were subject to a much stricter protocol as they had different statuses.
For example, in this join exploration team, there were also miners from the Commonwealth. However, when they were tired, they were not allowed to take random walks. They could only take short naps in the tents before returning to work. Although their pay and work quality were about the same, Hopes did not have a minimum requirement of ores. Without caring for a minimum load, he could rest for a few days without any issues, and he could still get his allowance.
However, workers from the Commonwealth had a minimum quota to hit per day, and if this was not met, then their salaries would be reduced. Their pay was already meager, so if it were to be further reduced, it would be hard for them to sustain their family expenses.

Too much of wealth were governed by the influential people, clans, Pavilions and Churches in the Celestial Realm. It didn't allowed the wandering cultivators to make much wealth for their future development. 

But the Holy Maiden said that she is going to purchase hundred Spatial Rings in an instant. As per The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception, each Spatial Ring costs around 200 Green Ranked Spirit Stones. If she had to buy hundred Spatial Rings, then it will cost her around 20000 Green Ranked Spirit Stones!

20000 Green Ranked Spirit Stones is a huge number. And yet the Holy Maiden of the Sleeping Forest Pavilion is spending that wealth on hundred Spirit Stones. Everyone couldn't help but sigh in depression. The wealth of the Sleeping Forest Pavilion is truly incomparable. They could do nothing but to envy it.

"Is there any discount?" ,Holy Maiden asked in a sweet voice after checking the authenticity of the Spatial Rings with her limited knowledge. After her heart told her that everything was fine, she asked. 

The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception bowed down and said, "I am extremely sorry, Young Miss! You have to understand that we are not like the Church of Knowledge. We are very tight financially. We hope that the Young Miss understands our situation. Unfortunately we can't give any discount."

"It's alright." ,Holy Maiden said indifferently. No one knows what exactly she was thinking. She said, "I still intends to purchase it."

"Thanks for your understanding." , The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception said with a gentle smile on his face, "I will immediately commence the transaction procedure."

The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception immediately started the transaction procedure. As everyone were watching, The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception completed every step systematically. Very soon he completed all the necessary procedures and handed over the total of hundred Spatial Rings to the Holy Maiden. 

"Thank You." ,Holy Maiden checked the Spatial Rings twice making sure that there were a total of hundred Spatial Rings. 

She then took out a communication crystal which was in Yellow colour and gave it to The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception. 

"Is that Business Communication Crystal?" ,Someone from the crowd asked in astonishment.

"It is." ,Another person from the crowd replied, "It looks like the Church of Deception's services or that Unknown Genius' crafting skills has gathered the attention of the Holy Maiden."

Business Communication Crystals are different from the Ordinary communication crystal. Ordinary Communication Crystal will be used for only end for end Communication system. One person could speak to only one person at a time. 

But the business communication crystal is different. This communication crystal was built based on the client-Server based system. Here a server is someone who provides the services. And there will be multiple clients. The Clients are someone who receives the services from a server. 

Here there will be only one server. This one Server will post any business related news like the new products for sale and stuff like that. All the clients in the who were in contact with the server will simultaneously receive this message and gets the opportunity to learn the name of the products and it's functionality. 

If the client feels that the product is within their interest, then they will attend the auction house on the mentioned time and date. That's how exactly the business transaction takes place which involves Business Communication Crystal.

After receiving business communication crystal from the Holy Maiden of the Sleeping Forest Pavilion, the hands of The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception trembled a little. Others might have different opinions about the business communication crystal, but for The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception, it hold entirely different meaning. 

Only the Influential organisations like the Church of Knowledge or the Church of Thunder has the ability to use the Business Communication Crystal. Since the geniuses in their Church are enormous, they have different geniuses with different new products for sale. 

Because of their fame and popularity, the number of clients who wishes to buy their products are huge. Hence the business communication crystal came into light. They had too many customers. 

But the Church of Deception was a declining Church. They couldn't enjoy the same atmosphere as the Church of Deception and the Church of Thunder. They have their own business communication crystal. But the number of clients are very few in numbers. 

This was the first time someone from an S-Rank Pavilion like the Sleeping Forest Pavilion to register as the client in the Church of Deception. And the person who enrolled for the membership was none other than the Holy Maiden herself. How could The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception not be excited. All this became possible because of that unknown genius. 

The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception immediately copied her identity details from her business communication crystal. After copying it down, he returned her business communication crystal back. 

"I await for your Church's genius's new product." ,Holy Maiden said this and immediately left the Stall of the Church of Deception. The crowd immediately gave her the way as she left under everyone's envious gazes.

"Is there anyone else that wants to buy the Spatial Rings?" , The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception asked indifferently. 

"I want to buy three Spatial Rings!" ,This time it was Damien who proactively came forward and very quickly took out 600 Green Ranked Spirit Stones. He then handed it over to The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception. 

The Stall In Charge of the Church of Deception received the Spirit Stones. He calculated the Spirit Stones's number. After assuring that there were a total of 600 Green Ranked Spirit Stones, he handed over the Spatial Rings. He didn't calculate Damien's Faith Power for any discounts. Because the situation is complete mess at the moment, he dealt the transaction only with the Spirit Stones.

After receiving the three Spatial Rings, both Neel and Damien hurriedly left the vicinity. Looking at the simple transaction, the crowd erupted in uproar.

William looked completely shocked when Dagwood gave him the news and slowly turned his head towards Rain. "Many apologies Mr. Yakov, I heard many tales of you but your appearance today is a little... different from what rumours say." William said as he eyed Rain. From William's memories people often described Rain Yakov as a meek, shut in, who only knew how to come up with magic. He had no communication skills and hair that covered his grotesque face.

However the young man standing in front of him now was someone proud and dignified. His voice was deep and powerful. He had his brown hair tied back into a top not while whisks of hair  gently fell over his face. His skin was fairer then fair, to the point it almost looked translucent, his face was slightly above average, his eyes were sharp and upturned with a stunning dark grey colour.

"Of course the rumours revolving around me are different. I act according to my environment, if I was so useless as what people say then how am I a member of the board... ha! Let alone a teacher? I thought the Council was more intelligent then to listen to what envious people say about me?" William flushed a bright red while the others avoided eye contact. An older looking woman who sat in between Dagwood and Lidia coughed to break the tension.

She looked bored from the start of the meeting and was quietly writing away but now she looked positively delighted as she examined Rain through her horned rimmed glasses. "Mr. Yakov, may I call you Rain?" She said with a sweet voice as she moved to pull out her bun. Locks of silver and chestnut hair tumbled downwards as her caramel coloured eyes sparkled with anticipation. "Please do, Miss?" He  replied as he kept his poker face.

"Wanda Nestle." The woman said with an arrogant laugh that it sent chills down Breeze and Ariana's spines. "Please tell us why would the Academy want to send someone so 'prestigious' to our little meeting? This child is being questioned on something so simple, that the Academy should not feel the need to bother." Rain raised his eyebrow in question as he looked at Wanda. "Something so simple?" 

"Why yes! This child of no social standing or proper backing insulted Lord Romanoff and caused harm to his bodyguards. He has put in a formal complaint and asked us to investigate the matter. If not for our busy schedules we would have done this far earlier. Besides this student looks like she is wasting your valuable time... I mean she is only a girl in the top 10%, who would even bat an eye for someone so disposable." 

Breeze could feel his temper rising but Ariana moved to grab his hand. He took a peak at her side profile and saw that she was barely holding it together herself. With a heavy sigh he released his temper and waited for his master to speak. "My dear Wanda, if you think this child is so disposable why would I be standing here?" Rain said as he flicked his index finger. The ribbon tied around Ariana's neck was instantly untied and gently floated towards each Council member to inspect. "So what? It's just a red ribbon!" Yakira scoffed and shooed the ribbon away. Rain let out a small chuckle and let the ribbon float in front of William a but longer.

"Countess Drake would you like to inform them of the wonderful news or should I?" He said with a wicked smile. Lidia brought her hands up to her temples and started to rub them with the tips of her index fingers. "It seems this child scored a perfect score in the examination and even presented a project that will help with the food shortage problem. So they presented her a special ribbon." The members of the Council all gasped and stumbled onto one another to get a better look at ribbon suspended in the air.

"Bronze stars." Dagwood mumbled as he eyed the ribbon. "Correct, bronze stars. Now, as per our school regulations and procedures we must always be diligent in investigating any students backgrounds if they manage to get into the top 3%." Rain said as he curled his index finger and the ribbon went back to its owner. "I personally investigated Ms. Drake's background, upbringing and character and found nothing."

Benjamin pounded the desk with his fist as his eyes became bloodshot. "Lies! Why would Lord Romanoff demand that this child be put into the hands of the church if she didn't do something wrong?!" Rain smirked as he looked at Benjamin. "I thought you said that she offended him? That there was some sort of bloodshed?" Benjamin's face drained of colour and he started to cough.

Yakira looked at Rain as she fiddled with her pen with one hand and cradled her head in the other.
"There was a bloodbath in the area that Lord Romanoff was found." Rain brought his hand up and started to scratched his chin.  "So no witnesses, no testimonies, an accusation against an outstanding child who gives back to the community and future star student of the Academy did what exactly?"

The room was silent for an eerie amount of time when suddenly Fabiola pounded her fat fist against the desk.  "Why is this monstrosity here by herself?!  Even her own family scorns her!  We all know how Lidia detests the child and her own family fled this morning at sun rise!  If she wasn't a wolf in sheep's clothing then she would have been showered with the love and support from her family!"

"Quite Fabiola!" William commanded causing the plump woman to shrink back into her chair. "Enough of these games! Lord Romanoff put in an official complaint two years ago and we must exact justice on this child's wrong doings! I decree that this child will be handed over to the ward of the-?!" Rain sliced the air with his finger causing William to loose his voice. 

"I agree. Enough games.  The simplest way to get to the truth is to use this." He said darkly as he cupped the air  with one hand and moved his other hand in a circular motion over top.  Smoke started to escape from the palms of his hand and a white stone in the shape of a tortoise shell materialized. Rain looked at each Council member and spoke slowly making sure he enunciated each word. "I invented this lovely little device to help pass judgment at the Academy... you see you never know if our students are behaving or not and we can't force them to speak if they have free will.  So why not test their courage?  If they have what it takes to bully someone and lie to our faces then certainly has the ability to risk their lives by putting their hands on this lovely shell!"

Rain's eyes started to turn mad and Ariana tried to take a step back but Breeze kept her firmly in place. Rain turned to Ariana and shoved the shell into her face. "I call it my truth stone! Place your hand on the stone and if you dare to lie, a wonderful toxin will be magically injected into your bloodstream! The only way to get the antidote is to confess your lies while your hand is on the stone. Careful though you only have 30 seconds before you start to feel the effects, 20 more seconds before the pain starts to become excruciating and a minute and 10 seconds later it's lights out, perminately! I would never force someone to go through with it... I mean you all have free will but if you don't use it then punishment can not be given to the deserving."  

William was pounding his fists in excitement as his face turned different shades of red. Rain's eyes calmed down and he coldly turned to William. He moved finger across the air and returned his voice.  "Excellent! We must definitely us this to determine her wrong doings!" 

Rain raised the stone shell to his face and rubbed it affectionately. "Sir Atlar I am so glad you see the value in using such a device.  May I have your permission to use this?" William puffed out his chest and looked at every Council member.  Each one nodding their approval.  "Please do." He replied.

Rain brought the stone shell forward and held it in front off himself with an absolutely delighted face. "I'm so happy!" He said as his face slightly flushed. He took a few steps forward and started to rise into the air. He placed the stone shell in front of William and waited with a child like smile. "Mr. Yakov... Why are you giving this to me?' William said as he tried to press his back further into the chair. "Well I have your permission to use it." Rain replied with his cheerful tone.

"Well yes but to use it on the girl." William said as he broke out into a cold sweat. "Why would I do something like that if I have already done my research?  As far as I can tell someone here is lying and I don't like it." He said as his tone drop a few degrees.  William started to shake his in protest. "That's not a valid excuse! We are not the ones on trial!" William shouted. The room became silent again. "Can that girl not go first? If she's not lying nothing will happen to her and we can end this." Lidia said as she stared down Rain.

"Fine, but if you want to ask her a question using my device then you have to truthfully answer a question of my own." Rain said as he shot Lidia a disgusted look. "Does everyone agree?" Lidia asked, everyone nodded their heads and waited for Rain to step down. "Alright Miss Ariana, place your hand on top, center it and relax. I will ask you a question and all you have to do is simply answer yes or no. There are no excuses, no do overs, no passing questions, the stone will only take blunt honesty. If for whatever reason you lie you will have the toxin injected into you. Do you understand?" Ariana looked up and nodded her head. "Good. Now proceed."

Ariana slowly stretched out her hand and placed it on top of the stone shell, right in the center. She felt a warm sensation wrap itself around every finger as a pale light glowed from the stone. "Now Ariana, at the time you claimed to have met the man in question, were you exactly as you are today? Of sound mind, body and heart that there was no mistaking that Lord Romanoff came to you, accused you and tried to abduct you from your family on the day of the examination?" 

Ariana hesitated a little, she understood what was going on. With a determined look on her face and unwavering eyes, she took a deep breath. "Yes!" She proclaimed. Everyone held their breaths as the watches the stone shell, 25 seconds went by and the stone turned a beautiful shade of jade green. "Truth, the child is not lying." He said with a giant smile. "Preposterous!" Benjamin yelled as he practically jumped from his desk to attack Ariana. 

"Oh? Would you like to give it a try?" Rain said as he raised up the stone shell. Benjamin quickly recoiled, afraid to even come into accidental contact with it. "Then how else will you test out it's credibility?" Rain asked innocently. Lidia coughed and everyone turned to look at her. "I will test it out and as you promised I will get to ask the child a question." Rain nodded his head in agreement. "Since you are the first, I will not ask something difficult." Rain said as he walked right up to the Countess as if there was an invisible stair case.

The Countess laid her hand on top of the shell and waited patiently. "Alright, Ms. Lidia Drake did your family feel proud that Miss Ariana achieved a perfect score?" Lidia silent stared at the stone shell before she looked into Rain's eyes. "She did not bring shame to the family and I am able to hold my head high when people walk by." Rain. shook his head and locked gazes with the Countess. 

"Simple yes or no." The Countess sighed and allowed her shoulders to sag. "Yes." She answered and everyone watched as time slowly ticked by, the stone shell turned jade green. Rain took the stone shell and bowed as he returned to Ariana's side. She put her hand on top again and looked at her grandmother. "Child did you in any way, shape or form assault Lord Romanoff or instigated any altercation?" 

Ariana kept her poker face. "No." She said proudly and waited for the stone shell to turn green. "Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait! I want to ask this child a question!" Wanda spat as she gripped the edge of the desk. "Was my question not to your standards?" The Countess asked and Wanda bared her slightly yellowing teeth at her. "You don't know how to ask proper questions?! No one has my level of intelligence! No one is more knowledgeable or suitable then I! I know almost every little thing that goes on with palace, so of course I would comply and bring this child to Lord Romanoff! I am the chosen one! I am one with his holiness, I will prevail! No one can beat me!" 

Rain placed the stone shell in front of Wand and waited. Wanda raised a finger and waived it in the air. "No personal details about my life." She said with a giant grin. Rain nodded his head in agreement and watched as she placed her hand on to the stone shell. "Wait! Can I ask her a question?" Ariana shouted. "What could a brat like you possibly want to know? You are beneath me, better yet you are lower in status then the dirt I walk on, I have no reason to provide anything to you."

Rain gave Ariana a half smile and waited for her to continue. "The doors that were commissioned for this room... were they a gifted from the church?" Wanda gave her a wickedly, crooked smile as her eyes grew wide. She lazily cradled her face and looked directly at Rain. "What a lame question! Where we got the doors is of no concern to anyone in this room! It's a perfect embodiment of what the Grand Council stands for! Honestly children.... Rain, darling get on with your question already, I have a particular query for that child."

Ariana shook her head no. "Maybe I should rephrase my question, were you aware that the church abducted civilians so that they could do horrific experiments on them? I mean you should know being the all knowing person in the room... I mean you would have realized that those doors are the bi-products of those experimentations."

Wanda broke out into an awkward laugh and looked at Rain. "What vivid imaginations children have... please Rain, honey, sweetheart ask your question already so that we can move on to mine." Wanda pleaded as she tried to remove her hand from the stone shell. To her horror she couldn't remove it. Rain smiled radiantly at Wanda but it only caused her to feel more afraid for her life. 

"Answer the latter part of her question." He said coolly and Wanda started shaking violently. "I have no need to answer such an irrelevant question." She said as she tried her best not to wet herself. "Oh it has great relevance... it'll show that you have been in the church's pocket from the beginning, that this sham of a meeting was really a trap... something that the church ordered you to do. So get on with it already, answer honestly or have your life flash before your eyes?" 

Wanda broke down into tears and a small puddle started forming under her chair. "Enough Mr. Yakov! We have come to the conclusion that Ms. Ariana Drake is innocent, she will be released! Now release Wanda and you can get on your way." William shouted as he slammed the table. Rain cocked his head and stared viciously at William. "I'm afraid I can't do that." Benjamin stood up and ran towards Wanda. "Why the hell not!" He shouted as he moved to grab the shell. 

"I wouldn't touch that if I were you." Rain said but Benjamin scoffed at his weak threat and grabbed the stone shell. White strings shot out into the air, Benjamin became wide eyed and tried to run but the strings moved forward and dug themselves into his body, pinning him to the ground. "Now you are an accomplice, if Wanda can't answer truthfully you will die an even more painful death then her."

Benjamin looked up at Wanda, eyes wide with terror. Wanda with a tear and snot streaked face shook her head no. "Yes! What you said is true, yes! Now release me!" Benjamin shouted as he tried to pull the strings out. "I'm sorry Benjamin but the question is for Wanda not you. So Wanda what is your answer?" 

"Just answer you stupid b*tch! I already shouted the truth! Just say yes and set me free! If you want to die then die by yourself! I have people to live for, dreams to fulfill and I will not let you take me down with you!" Benjamin shouted as he tried to stand up but found that the white strings had more force then he imagined. "Wanda just answer the question." The Countess said as she placed a reassuring hand onto her wrist. 

"You don't understand I can't..." Wanda said with a quivering voice. "Wanda what are you talking about?" William asked as he stood up and looked down and the trembling woman. "No matter what I answer, I'm dead."

First Arc:

"Don't leave me! Just look at me and stay awake!" Words that haunted Ariana's dreams for as long as she remembered. Dying in the arms of her lover as they both are surrounded and engulfed in flames. 

However Ariana's quirks never stopped her from living her life. Her journey starts from when her adoptive mother sells her at the tender age of 12, afraid that she was stealing her adoptive father's love. A blow to her head unlocks her past life's memories and life skills. 

Any object she touches relating to her past life unlocks her past skills and education. Using her memories she changes the brothel she's sold to into a maid cafe, and slowly changes her community. 

While creatures called Lumas are born from her powers to protect Ariana but who are the Lumas really protecting? Especially when she gets her period on her 13th birthday and it morphs her into a humanoid garnet dragon.

Second Arc:

In a world full of magic, beast men, warriors, adventurers and elementals could there really be something more frightening then a girl with mixed blood? Garnet dragon, child of the jewel eyed priestess and the soul of someone who was summoned from Earth.

Ariana is fully awoken to who she is and has started her life in St. Verusha Academy as their perfect score student. She will have to grow into the young lady she wants to be while trying to unravel the mysteries of her life. 

With the help of Cayden, her childhood friend and the the Lumas, Ariana will discover the roads she can walk down. The only problem is will she choose destruction or human evolution? Love or world dominance? Revenge or forgiveness? Or will she allow her human mind and heart to be devoured by the darkness inside of her because of a massive betrayal from the one person she thought meant the most to her?

I'm back into my schedule the next day – Wake up and eat at six, pray until Lunch at noon.  Study before dinner, and into bed by nine.
	-But my schedule is not exactly the same.  The first day my chores are doubled, for the day I spent 'sick', but after that, the chore amounts are back to normal.  And as the days go on, my 'praying' changes.  At first, it's normal.  The routine I've held for as long as I can remember.  Then, my praying is more like asking questions.  What does all of this mean?  Why was I awake that night?  Why did I see the star?  I want to ask the Priestess the hard questions, but she's away on some duty or another.  I also want to see her to find out what it really means to be a Cleric.  
	When I was younger, I thought that it was just something that you did as a member of the church.  Now, with the system, I'm sure that it's something that I could learn.  And seeing the REWARDS that I got through the system so far, I could only imagine what else it held.
	What I held was the Ruby of the War Mage.  By the time that a week had passed slowly in town, my prayer time wasn't so much spent in prayer as in thought, and one day as I was holding the Ruby in my hands, concentrating on it, the system chimed in.  
  *ting!*
   I was so startled that I looked around me in the chapel, certain that I'd interrupted the silence of the moment.  I was alone in the pew, though, and no one noticed the sound, or even my glances.  Of course they didn't!  Remembering that I was the only one that could hear or see the system, I brought up the window in front of me.
  *ting!*  "Item identified."


Ruby of the War Mage
Wondrous item, Common (requires attunement by a spellcaster) 
This ruby allows you to use a simple or martial weapon as a spellcasting focus for your spells.  For this property to work, you must attach the ruby to the weapon by pressing the ruby against it for at least 10 minutes. Thereafter, the ruby can't be removed unless you detach it as an action or the weapon is destroyed. Not even an anti-magic field causes it to fall off. The ruby does fall off the weapon if your attunement to the ruby ends.

	The details are dizzying.  A spellcaster?  I can't cast a spell.  Maybe I can attach the ruby to my axe, though.  There's no way I can wander around holding it...  I haven't taken it out since I got back to town.  
	The ruby isn't the only development within the system, however.  While reading the system in my quiet time, I've been looking at the Background page, and found more information.  Lying in my bed, one night, I'm reading the details of the other backgrounds.  The Acolyte background at the top is mine now, and I'm curious about others.  The second background can be expanded, and it reads like this;

Charlatan.  Earned 1,000 by confidence tricks or with scams.

	I'm not surprised that the number is zero, but I'm a little bit surprised to see any number at all.  I scroll down the other backgrounds, but it's mostly things in which I have no experience.  Things like performing for crowds or time spent in seclusion – or in the wilderness.  This one is interesting, because it shows the few hours I spent on the night of the star.  These other things, though; spending time on the high seas or in an 'active military unit'.  …Maybe they're not for me.
	One holds promise.  There's no moon out, and it's so dark that I can see nothing but the system.  Still, my eyes widen.  

Sage.  Spent 10,000 hours studying and practicing arcana and history.

	But how?  Servants of the temple don't really have a school to speak of, so I can't think of anything.  Sure, I've read over the years, and once in a while I must have picked up something on the way.  The matron's occasional lectures… sermons on the history of the church or the local area… maybe a lot more has sunk in then I'd have ever imagined.  And I'm so close!
   So, I start to study.  
   The next day, I'm in the library as soon as I wake up.  I only have an hour to study before the bell rings to call all to prayer.  I groan inwardly, not wanting to leave the books… but maybe I don't have to?  No one will miss a few books here or there, I grab a few and I silently tuck them into my inventory.  I file into my own pew and take a few furtive glances around before I open the tome.  It's a dry treatise, but it doesn't matter.  Over the next half-dozen weeks, as spring begins to turn into early summer, any time I can, I'm reading anything that I can.  Have you ever heard the history of the nearby village, Tubb's Vineyard?  Well, it's NOT interesting.  I read every word.  Did you know that we even have dry notes on the history of law in water deep?  Because I do.  I fell asleep reading them nine times.  The ones that are hardest to keep straight are tomes of experiment after experiment done by scholarly wizards in pursuit of such overly specific knowledge that it hardly seems possible.  But I read them all.  I'd keep a few at a time in my inventory and read them whenever I could.  
     The second strangest thing that happens one day is that I'm reading a long (and I do mean long) description of different "somatic components", and it starts really making sense.  I've read it before, and barely understood that it was the way that you wave a wand to make a spell happen.  That's true, in a crude sense, but it's so much more!  The way that a body moves to coax The Weave - the pattern of energy all around us that makes magic work – is like a dance with the laws of the universe.  I'm so lost in my epiphany, that it barely registers in my head when the system rings.

He sat opposite the computer desk. The computer was linked to multiple servers, necessary for hosting a website. 
The wall behind the computer was decorated with over fifty posters of women. Some were in modest clothing, while others in not-so-modest clothing, especially a few who were pretty much nude.
They were from various backgrounds and professions: Actresses, models, socialites, businesswomen, housewives, and so on.
Furthermore, the women were from different ethnicities, carrying ranges of skin tones. One can say the posters were truly inclusive.
Even the greatest feminist couldn't find a single point of discrimination. 
"Lord Kiba never discriminates!" The young man thought with reverence. "He has relationships with women of all backgrounds and colors!"
People around the globe love to preach about equality and brag how they don't judge others on their color of skin or their backgrounds. 
Reality couldn't be more different. History was the greatest proof. People were prejudiced and they always discriminate while trying to appear politically correct. This hasn't changed despite the era being that of evolution.
"Lord Kiba is the only broad-minded person in the world!"
Just how many people can be as open-minded as Lord Kiba who doesn't care about ethnicity or background?!
The young man's eyes were full of admiration as he glanced at the poster in the middle of the wall. It showcased Kiba as the rightful emperor, sitting on the golden throne, surrounded by his harem.
"No! He is not a human but god!" The young man corrected his thoughts.
Only god can be so inclusive and show 'love' without discrimination!
"Yet the world doesn't know of his noble deeds!" The young's man eyes shined with determination as he typed on the virtual keyboard. 
The screen flashed with the welcoming page of Wife Hunter Society.
It was him who created this secret society to enlighten the ignorant masses! The world needed to know of the sacrifices his lord had made!
The time would change and so will the people. The men of today will be ashes of tomorrow but the records of history would last forever.
He wanted to create annals of the great lord so that not only the current generation, but even the future generation know about the noble deeds!
"And earn some money in the process!" A faint sound of reasoning ringed inside his brain.

The cafeteria, Royal Heart Academy.
Zed, Felicity, Loren, and Jessica waited in anticipation as the waiter served the lunch dishes: sandwich, salad, pasta, casserole, enchilada, and soup. In a minute, they started savoring the dishes.
While enjoying her pasta, Felicity turned her head to glance at the table of Gante and Ralin.
"Why are they acting like that?" Felicity asked. They were sitting far too close, their eyes on their laps.
"No idea," Zed answered as he sipped the soup. He couldn' care any less about the two for he has a schedule to follow, as his alter ego has many tasks that need to be completed.
"There is something strange!" Felicity remarked.

[Wife Hunter Society - The savior of women]
Gante and Ralin looked at the welcome banner with shock on their faces. They glanced at each other to make sure their eyes weren't playing a trick on them.
"Savior of women?" Gante faintly muttered. He wondered what deeds had Kiba done to deserve such a grand title.
Does having affairs with married women and taking maidenhood of young women counts as qualifications to become their savior?
"If so, I want to become a savior as well!" Gante and Ralin thought in their hearts.
"There should be some real content!" Ralin was sure there has to be a reason for the website to be on top search results. "Scroll down!"
The two were so engrossed that they didn't care about the lunch dishes on their table.
"What are you two being so secretive about?" A voice came from nearby.
Ralin and Gante abruptly turned their head.
"F-Felicity?" Gante stammered as he saw Felicity standing across them.
"What is so important for you to ignore the lunch?" Felicity asked.
She was curious about their activities so she left her table and arrived before them.
Some distance away, Zed and others were looked at Ralin and Gante. Not only them, but almost everyone in the cafeteria had their attention on the duo.
They have seen the engrossed expression the duo carried while staring at the phone. Most wondered if Gante and Ralin had found a leaked question paper or something like that.
Some thought they might be looking at nudes but the majority disagreed. The cafeteria was no place for such things!
This was why everyone was delighted when Felicity moved to find out the truth!
"N-nothing really!" Gante shook his head as his finger moved to press 'back' on the phone.
He didn't wish Felicity to see the types of the website they have opened. For a long time, he had a crush on her, and he didn't want her to know the types of websites he explored.
He wouldn't be able to show his face to anyone if she found about his activities so he quickly pressed 'back'.
"You sound suspicious!" Without any warning, Felicity pulled the phone.
"Please don't!" Gante and Ralin jumped together to grab the phone back.
They had pressed back only once so the search result was still open on the web browser.
"Definitely suspicious!" Felicity turned around to prevent the phone from taken away.
Gante and Ralin's hearts jolted with a bad feeling as they saw Felicity looking at the phone screen.
"Women seduced by Kiba!" Felicity read out the search topic.
WHAT?!
The entire canteen turned completely silent with everyone trying to make sure they heard it right. The next moment, everyone burst in a peal of loud laughter.
"Hahaha!"
"You heard it as well, right?"
"Maybe they think they can become Kiba by searching about him?"
"Seems so!"
"Truly desperate!"
"Wannabe!"
Gante and Ralin lowered their heads, their faces as red as tomatoes. It was the nature of people to take pleasure in the plights of others and the same was now.
"Shut up!" Felicity's voice cut through the laughter. "Does anyone of you dare show your browsing history?"
The laughter instantly died, no one daring to answer Felicity's question.
"If not then keep your trap shut," Felicity completed her words with full disdain.
Gante and Ralin were pleasantly surprised by Felicity's words. Earlier they inwardly blamed her for their predicament, but now she had helped them instead of taking joy in their situation.
"She is truly kind!" Gante thought to himself.
"An angel born on earth!" Ralin muttered.
He now believed not only was she beautiful outside but inwardly as well.
"What is this?" Felicity didn't really care about the duo's opinion as she brought her attention to the phone.
Her eyes turned wide in surprise as she read the top headline link on the search.
"Wife Hunter Society?"
There was absolute silence in the cafeteria so her words echoed. Everyone was dumbfounded by the mention of this strange society.
Even the cafeteria staff were equally startled by the clickbait title.
Kiba was famous in the city, very famous.

Kiba was the only Wife Hunter known in the city, and now a society on the same?! This was more than enough to arouse their interest!
Almost on a cue, everyone opened their phones to search for this mysterious society. The sound of screen tapping filled the cafeteria.
Only Zed hadn't laughed earlier, but when he heard the new words spoken by Felicity, his expression turned rigid.
"There is a society for my alter ego?"
He noticed Jessica and Loren searching for this society as well.
No matter how innocent and pure-hearted, there was always a deep sense of curiosity regarding the 'evil'.
This was the current state of many of the innocent young women here. The same applied to Jessica and Loren.
Even Felicity was checking the website, much less others. Of course, her reason was different for she didn't care about the gossips regarding Kiba at all!
The only reason she opened the society website was to know more about the man named Kiba since he wasn't afraid of dangers just like her!
After all, she was relying on Kiba to teach Zed on how to be fearless and live for the thrill. She believed Kiba can help lower the burden she carried by turning Zed into a fearless man.
Then she could freely leave the city and visit the Paradox Dimension without regrets.
Zed saw the expression on her face and he could pretty much imagine her thought process.
He secretly complained of hardship. How was he supposed to fulfill her impossible wish of Kiba meeting Zed?!
"This is a propaganda site!" A minuter later, Felicity muttered in disappointment. "That Kiba guy must have hired some PR company!"
Alas, Felicity's words fell on deaf ears for everyone besides Zed, Loren and Jessica were still glued to their phone screen.
The others didn't care about Felicity's remark and continued to browse the glorious website dedicated to Kiba. Even if she shouted, they wouldn't stop exploring!
"...I don't need a PR company!" Zed bitterly muttered in his heart.
Felicity sat back on the chair and resumed her lunch. She ignored Zed for she remembered how he was glued to the tv screen when news regarding Agatha's pregnancy was shown.
She was sure he would open the website sooner or later so she allowed nature to take its own course.
The only reassuring part for her was that Jessica and Loren didn't further care about the site as they too resumed the lunch.
"I should check as well!" Zed did live up to Felicity's expectations. He opened his cellphone and opened the website.
The very next moment, droplets of sweat ran down his face as he saw the image of Kiba sitting on the throne.
"Erone Ciun!" Zed muttered the name of the perpetrator. "It has to be him!"
The scene from a few weeks ago was fresh in his memories. He had seen the same poster in Erone's apartment, along with posters of women, so he was sure of the mastermind behind this society.
Zed was dazed as he scrolled further on the website's homepage, reading the titles Erone had given him.
He stopped scrolling and clicked on the menu to know more about the website.
"This..." Zed was terrified when he saw the multiple options on the menu.
Just how vast was this website?! How much content he has to build a website like this?!
