TTHH is an experiment of mine where I am attempting to create a "choose your own adventure" type of story on Webnovel. THIS IS THE FIRST OF ITS KIND. If all of the reviews are complaining that the chapters are literally tiny, that's true, for now. I am just getting a feel for the situation before diving in. If you have some comments, please feel free to leave them in the comments or the reviews section.

Ren Suo turned on his computer and waited for more than a minute before a message from 360 appeared, saying: "Current boot time: 10 seconds. Your boot-up speed is faster than 99% of the country's computers!" Unhurriedly, Ren Suo opened a Word document.
Another 10 seconds passed before the 2003 version of Word launched.
At this point, the capabilities of the computer Ren Suo used must be obvious: it was a faded beauty. Nonetheless, the computer was able to meet Ren Suo's daily needs, and he was still able to watch videos and write documents with the computer without much problem.

His current computer was old and did not have much 'commemorative' value. Furthermore, while new technology products serve the same functional purposes as before, their appearance would still become more appealing and striking.

As Ren Suo had some accumulated merits, not only did the system show the highest possible rewards he could obtain for each game (this was not shown for the free game of the previous month), there was also a prompt which said: 
"Upon completion of any free chapter from a game, the required merits to acquire the game would reduce accordingly."
"The total merits required to acquire the game can be found through the search function of the World Shop."
For example, Ren Suo had completed the chapter [The Bloody Banquet] from the game [The Hitman], and thus the number of merits he needed to acquire the game would be reduced if he searched for it in the World Shop. However, he did not know how much fewer merits would be required for he was not about to spend 10 merits to perform a search to satisfy his curiosity.
[Over My Dead Body: Chapter 1] was an economic simulation game. The synopsis read: "Giving the player the opportunity to experience what it is like to operate a family business! In a world of natural and man-made disasters, in a world of ghosts and spirits, in a world full of crises and calamities, the player needs to protect and save his own family in the complex world. The player would also need to be courageous and brave enough to break free from the cursed spell of life and other external vulnerabilities."
[Lurk: Chapter 1 was an interactive narrative game. The synopsis read: "With a stone-cold heart, yet bustling with activity, would you choose to sacrifice yourself wholeheartedly for the better future of your nation, even if it means you would fall into the bottomless hell pit of lies? Or would you choose to be indecisive for your own glory and honor?"
[Massacre in the Underground City] was a card-based action and adventure game. The synopsis read: "The rotten culture of the abyss hidden within the underground city has infiltrated the world. To save yourself, you have to emerge from the corrupt metropolis, travel through the darkest of caverns and leave the horrid underground city by fighting against the strongest enemies at the heart of the deep abyss in a battle of life and death."
Ren Suo lifted his hands off the keyboard and looked at what he had just typed as he contemplated carefully over his options. 
All of the three free games for the month seemed fun. 
But Ren Suo could only choose one out of the three to play. 
It was not impossible, however, to play all three of them. The system prompted that as the player's level increased, the number of free games each month would increase, and the player would also be able to choose more games to play each month. However, Ren Suo still had no idea how he could increase his player level, so he was left with no choice but to select only one out of the available three. 
Furthermore, there was no longer any discount for the purchase of games. If Ren Suo did not choose to play any of the free games, he would not be able to play any. With his very limited amount of accumulated merits, he would definitely not be able to afford anything after spending some merits to search for games in the store. 
"What should I do?" Ren Suo pondered. 
If he only considered the rewarded merits from each game, it was obvious that he should choose to play [Lurk]. The short-term benefit was the earned merits, while the long-term benefit would be the discounted game cost. Unfortunately, the specialized reward [The Art of Deceiving] did not seem to be functionally useful. 
The next best option would be [Over My Dead Body]. Although the number of rewarded merits was fewer than that of [Lurk], the specialized reward [Heart-strengthening] seemed to be useful, but Ren Suo had no idea what the ability entailed just yet. 
The last option would be "Massacre in the Underground City", with the lowest amount of merits rewarded. Both the short-term and long-term benefits were unattractive. Furthermore, no specialized rewards would be given. Unless he was left with no other choice like before when he only had the option to play [The Hitman: The Bloody Banquet], Ren Suo would definitely not pick this option. 
However, if he took the game content into consideration, the choice would not be as straightforward. 
[The Hitman: The Bloody Banquet] had a difficulty rating of 1 star. Similarly, [A Strong Warrior Ascends 10,000 Meters] had a difficulty rating of 1 star. 
Without a doubt, both of these games were two of the easiest games available, but were they that easy? The former required some amount of brainwork to complete, while the latter required Ren Suo to stay up for a few nights to complete. 
Even though Ren Suo had not owned any other game console prior to the Mini Worlds Gaming Console, but he was still a frequent visitor to cybercafes. While he could not be considered a legendary player in the online games, he was not a clumsy amateur either. He was not one to neglect his studies and ruin his future, so he always played with moderation. Nonetheless, Ren Suo was essentially one of the best few amongst people of his age. Many of his schoolmates would flock to team up with him to play FPS and MOBA games. 
Ren Suo was essentially a decent gamer, but even the 1-starred games proved to be a significant challenge to him. How difficult would the 2-starred games be?
After some time, Ren Suo figured that he would not choose a game just yet. He had just returned home after a long ride anyway and instead decided to take a rest first. 
CTRL + A, Delete. 
Ren Suo deleted everything that he had just typed and went for a shower. He heated up the yee-fu noodles with beef briskets in fried bean sauce which had already turned cold, then held it in his hand as he returned to his computer. He navigated to the video site GiliGili, preparing to watch videos as he ate his...supper?
However, as soon as the website loaded, he spat out a mouthful of the simmering hot noodles, which covered his screen and keyboard with a brown layer of a hot, gluey mix of noodles and fried bean sauce. 
At the top of the webpage was a horizontal banner that usually showed seasonal news and the website's large-scale promotion events. Yet, it was now replaced with six large words in a black font over a white background:
"A Strong Warrior Ascends 10,000 Meters!"
Ren Suo hurriedly cleaned up the mess on his computer, then took a deep breath before clicking into the page, to realize that it was a...what on earth?!
Large-scale serial documentary film?!
There were a total of 55P (number of separated parts to the entire video), and apart from the last two Ps, they were all 120-minute-long videos! That was a total of 4 and a half days long!
Each individual P had its own title stating the corresponding timestamps. For example, the first few Ps had the titles "3 April 00:00~02:00", "3 April 02:00~04:00", "3 April 04:00~06:00", while 54P was titled "8 April 10:00~11:43".
The last P was a "Highlights" video, which seemed to be a cut and combined version a staggering 200 minutes long! That was almost three hours!
3rd of April...?
Ren Suo recalled that that was the first day of his training camp. 
However, that was also the day immediately after he uploaded his score for the game!

The girl pondered on what races is best, If you are looking for a tank type a dwarf is best, for physical damage beastmen, for mages elf is fine and for balance human.

"I choose human" she confirmed.

She chooses the human for now since she doesn't know how this game work and what classes it can offer.

"hmmm" The beautiful woman nodded.

"Next is your name, please think wisely of your name because you cannot change it when you start your journey" the woman reminded her.

The girl think for a second before looking again to the woman..

"Karen, Karen will be my name." She think this world as a second world so she chooses to use her real name because she wants to exist in both world as she is.

She just changes her hair and eye color to blond and scarlet because this is what she usually do when playing VR games.

She appear in the middle of a look like a plaza where a big magic circle on the ground is beautifully drawn, she look side to side and find more light is appearing one by one different faces can be seen but all of them is human, well if you choose human thn you will be sent to human kingdom and if you choose beastmen naturally on the beastmen kingdom and same for the rest of the races.

A huge sword that was as long as one person lay on the ground on his right. He was dressed in a simple short vest, which didn't seem like his clothes.
"I'm…" Luo Piaoling shook his head and found some information and memories in his head. "Is this the Slayer?!"
With wonder and surprise, he looked at his left hand which seemed to contain demonic strength. "Kazan…?"
Dark-green skinned monsters walked out from the shadows in the forest and surrounded him.
Each character that the players controlled in the game came to this land with their own dreams and goals. The slayers wanted to find Kazan and seek revenge, male gunners were squeezed to a corner in the Empyreans and fell onto Arad, priests fought with the imposters of 'Curse of Blood' with holy missions, and the female slayers came to this land to seek revenge on the empire as the products of the empire's Metastasis experiments…
The slayer on Luo Piaoling's screen waved his huge sword and slaughtered all the goblins that surrounded him in the forest. The adventurers (players) who walked out of the forest would enter Elvenguard, the spawn place in the game.

Li Wei opened his eyes and found himself standing in the middle of a small room. He calmly examined this new environment, in front of him was a giant screen with these words. The room was empty, except for the screen, a door on his left and a bed behind him.

The screen quickly continued to play accompanied by an epic background music: 

- "Greetings human, welcome to New Earth. Zero, a once flourishing planet is now at the mercy of monsters. Humans once ruled most of the planet, but greed is the root of all evil, they could not be satisfied with what they had and the great empires fought each other. After countless wars, when humans were at their weakest, came the other races; the elves, the dwarves, the mermaids... all tried to expand their territories and 10 years later came the invasion of monsters from other worlds "

- "Realising their mistakes, humans unified themselves and with this accumulation of power, they were able to resist the assault of monsters. But it was too late and more than 75% of the population perished in all these wars, now only 10 empires are still standing."

- "Zero is now ruled by monsters, each race can only defend their own territories. It is a land full of mysteries and magic, the possibilities are endless, it is up to you to make you of your own ingenuity, skills, and talents to survive in this world. This was undoubtedly the usual introduction texts one would see when opening a game for the first time. It was very vague but could still bring excitement to the heart of the players.

Li Wei did not know it yet, but his attributes were pretty good. In average people would obtain a total of 25 starting points based on their physique. But Li Wei obtained 30, this was due to his diligent work at keeping a fit body by doing some training every day. Although he wasn't muscular, he was in decent shape. As for the bonus stat points, the Middle-class capsules gave 2, the High-class capsules gave 4 while VIP capsules gave 6 bonus points. It wasn't much but it was just one of the advantages the difference in capsules provided.

-"This is your character, please choose a name and allocate your stat points. You can also make some changes to your appearance, but we won't tolerate a distorted appearance, we can only allow up to 5% change in appearance. "

-"Ok, got it. However, can I have more information about the game before I do my customization. I know about the different classes, but I would like to have more specific information before allocating my points."

As you can see at the top of the screen there is a timer showing how long is left before the start. You can do whatever you want as long as everything is ready when it reaches zero. Additionally, you can also access the forum through your interface, it is useful if you want to ask questions or discuss with other players. With that I will be going. Just say my name if you need more information. I will also come back 5 minutes before the end of the countdown for the last-minute review."

After that, she slowly became transparent, she made a smile and then completely disappeared. 

Li Wei did not lose time, he quickly sat on the bed and started reading through the information. Even though he had 2 hours available that wasn't enough if he wanted to correctly plan his path. Li Wei did not like to face the unknown, he liked to always plan ahead, such was his nature but he had to admit that this situation was quite exciting.

Being an experienced player, Li Wei did not need long to get the information he needed, and it was quite disappointing. Upon reaching level 5, players could choose between 6 main classes namely Warrior, Paladin, Mage, Ranger, Rogue and Priest. 

They were common classes in RPGs. Li Wei had a lot of experience playing and knew which stat to prioritize in each class. He did not really mind which class to play but since he was a solo player, he was more inclined towards Rogue that usually walk alone or a balanced class like Warrior.

"Never mind, let's decide after reading the forum. I might find something interesting there."

Unfortunately, he found nothing interesting, the forum was full of posts like "Excited for New Earth", "Let's go save Zero", "Why can't we change race... I wanted to be an elf", ...

Disappointed, Li Wei resumed reading the rest of the information, especially the beginner guide compiled by the Beta Testers. It contained some information about the beginner's village. But since the play time was short, they themselves did not get a lot of insight in the game. Out of the 5000 Beta Testers, none of them were able to leave the beginner's village; the highest-level player was named Shadow Tiger and only reached level 8 after the one-week playtest.


30 minutes before the end of the countdown, Li Wei finally stood up and approached the screen. He decided that upon reaching level 5, he would go with Warrior, facing the unknown, it was better to have a balanced character. He then decisively added the 2 points to Strength before he started doubting his choice again.

He then made some minor modification to his character, just enough so that people won't directly recognize him; longer nose, bigger eyes, lighter skin tone, slight changes to his body profile. Li Wei wasn't especially good-looking. You could say he was slightly above average, and so was his new look, he did not really mind his appearance so only slightly changed it. He liked to be alone sometimes; Li Wei wasn't a loner and actually socialize quite well, but he did enjoy the time he spent alone playing his games.

"And now all that's left is the hardest, finding a good name..."

"There is still 20 minutes left. Let's read the lore, maybe I will find some inspirations"

The lore wasn't very interesting, it only vaguely described each war that happened, how some heroes rose up from the masses but ended up falling in battle. In the Dominion Empire, only 1 Guardian Hero is still alive and is now the Grand Commander of the royal army. It had to be known that each person's provided "Basic Information" was different. Since each player would spawn in different villages in different empires, each player was given the lore of his empire and in the case of Li Wei, it was the Dominion Empire.

-"Hello again Li Wei"

-"Ahh it's you, I did not expect time to pass so quickly"

Gaia chuckled and quickly said, "I see that you have not yet chosen your character's name, is there an issue?"

-"Not really, it is just the lack of inspiration and the names I tried were all already taken, so..."

She smiled "I understand. But if you do not find anything before the end of the countdown, I will have to allocate you a name of my choice"

"That will be my pleasure," answered Li Wei while stealing a glance at Gaia's face to see her reaction.

However, the latter remained expressionless.

-"Anyway, let me give you some information. You won't directly be sent to Zero, this is because you are too weak, consider it a tutorial period. All players will be sent to different Beginner's towns and these towns reside in a different dimension to Zero, once you reach level 10, you will finally be able to enter the open environment of Zero. This isolation method was used to prevent Beta Testers from getting too much of a lead over other players. Players will be allocated according to their residence's location. Since you were living in Beijing before the disaster, your starting town will be 'Little Root Town'."

-"Is there a difference between the Beginner's town?"

-"No, they are all identical, this is just to avoid the traffic of players at the beginning. There will be about 5000 players per town. There will be lots of opportunities for you to gain experience and equipment during this tutorial. However, you will be forced to leave the beginner's town when reaching level 10 if you want to continue your adventure and let me tell you that Zero's environment will be much harsher. So, you should take advantage and familiarise yourself with your character."

-"Got it. Is there anything else I need to know?"

"That's it, Zero is meant to be discovered by the players, it will ruin the fun if I give you too much information. And... your time is almost up," said Gaia while pointing towards the screen. The timer was still slowly decreasing with only 15 seconds left

Li Wei was startled, he looked at his hand and found that they were slowly becoming transparent, actually his whole body was starting to disappear... but then a thought passed through his mind "Oh crap! I still don't have a name"

-"This is farewell... Best of luck Li Wei... ah no... from now on your name shall be... Seven"

-"Seven? What kind of name is that? "

-" Well I am just an AI... and you are the seventh person to whom I am bestowing a name" Gaia smiled while saying that, she then chuckled and waved her hand in sign of goodbye.

And at that moment, the timer finally reached 0:0:0. This was the last thing Li Wei saw before completely disappearing.

Jam was recognized in the library by the receptionist, and allowed to go to the third and fourth floor to pick out his two techniques. On the third floor, Jam picked up a technique simply called Intent. 

[Intent: An auxiliary technique that suppresses and applies pressure on others through the user's killing intent. The effects of the suppression can range from decreasing the combat prowess of the target(s) to directly killing the target should their cultivation be weak enough relative to the user. After picking the Demonic Technique in the third floor, Jam moved up to the fourth floor, and started searching for a Yang technique. Because the Library was shaped like a pyramid there would be less books the higher up you went. 

The fourth floor was the highest floor in the library and had very few books in its own right; there wouldn't be many books for Yang techniques, that Jam could pick from. Luckily, Jam found a skill he liked. 

[Solar Upheaval: Incorporates Yang Dao aspects and energy into already existing skills. This technique allows the user to gain access to the Yang Dao aspects of Purification, Light, Heat, Hardness, and Virtue — 0% | Evolvable]

The Yang Dao was very similar to the Dao of Fire, as they shared two aspects, the aspect of Heat and Purification. However, while these aspects were technically the same, the differed slightly. 

The Yang Dao would push these two aspects to the extreme. For example, Heat for the Dao of fire, could be interpreted to be hot or cold, and some Fire Dao practitioners would use a cold flame. However, for the Yang Dao, the concept of  "coldness" didn't exist.

With these two techniques picked out, Jam headed back to the receptionist to pick up the jade slips for these techniques. These techniques weren't like the free techniques, that had their respective jade slips in the little book introducing the techniques. Jam would have to take the introductory book for his Demonic and Yang techniques to the receptionist, where he would then be given the jade slips for each of the techniques.

Jam won't back down stairs and received his techniques. He bade farewell to the receptionist and headed for the core disciples classroom. Evangeline told Jam she would be waiting for him to pick up his technique outside the library, and when Jam came out, the two of them headed to their classroom.

On the way to their classroom Jam and Evangeline saw Rina. Jam shouted at Rina and after some formalities, Rina was added to Jam's party.  Rina was still not perfectly acclimated to Jared becoming Evangeline, but that didn't influence her too much in the way she behaved around Evangeline. 

As they were walking and chatting, Rina suddenly asked Jam "So… what's your IGT?"

"What?" Jam had no idea what Rina was talking about.

"You know, an Internet GamerTag." Rina responded.

"Sorry, I still have no idea what you're talking about." Jam was still confused.

"Do you have a computer?" Rina asked.

"Not here. But I did have one back where I lived, before coming to the academy." Jam confirmed.

"Have you ever used the computer to play games on the internet?"

"Nope." Jam only used the computer in Woody's house to search for the most optimal training methods, or other things related to cultivation.

Rina face-palmed herself before saying "You should get a computer and make an IGT, so you can play with us on The Cloud"

"Who is "us" and what is "The Cloud?"" 

"You might be the only person in the academy without a computer to play games with, so when I say "us" I'm referring to all the other core disciples. I mean seriously, even Evangeline has an IGT and plays games every once in a while. The Cloud is just the name of the system where people go to play game on the internet, from all over the Mortal Plane." Rina was trying to be friendly with Jam by having him join her friends list.

Jam turned to Evangeline to see her avoiding his gaze, as much as she possibly could.

Jam faced Rina and said "Fine, but won't this take away time from our cultivation?"

"Yeah, but cultivation is boring and dull." This time it was Evangeline who spoke up.

"Well, what kind of games do you play on The Cloud?"

"Lets see. You can play the traditional games, where you look at your computer's monitor, or buy a virtual reality capsule and play games in, well, virtual reality. There are RPG, Action, Adventure, Cooking, Fantasy, History, Romance, … , and even Card games and Board games!"

"That sounds stupid. Why would I play a dumb game, when reality is much more fascinating. We are literally cultivators! Our lives are literally chuck-full of action, adventure, fantasy, and so on."

"Yeah, but it's hard work, and the action, adventure, and fantasy has to wait for you become powerful through the endlessly repetitive training. Don't you want to have a taste of what being super powerful is like, without having to go through the trouble of cultivating and training to reach that level?"

"The would be nice, but every moment I spend pretending to be almighty, is a moment wasted from cultivation that can actually make me that strong!" 

There was a long pause after Jam said this, and both Rina and Evangeline were looking at him, in a way that made him uncomfortable. To recover from this apparent blunder, Jam said "However, you're right in saying that cultivation is repetitive, dull, and boring,... I'll get a computer, make an IGT, and play with you guys when I'm relaxing."

Since there was still time before the class started, Jam's party went to the Hall of Affairs, to buy Jam a computer and set up his IGT. The Hall of Affairs was a place that sold almost anything to a disciple of the academy, so long as buyer had enough money. 

With Jam's wealth, buying a state-of-the-art computer and virtual capsule combo was not an issue. After buying his computer, Jam made an IGT before leaving the Hall of Affairs. Jam had no idea what his IGT should be, so he asked Evangeline and Rina for their opinion. Oddly enough, they both told him the same thing "Your IGT should be your Daoist name."

"I don't have a Daoist name."

"Well make one up then." Evangeline responded

"Is that how that works? Aren't you supposed to get your Daoist name from your reputation?"

"Nah, you can just call yourself by whatever Daoist name you want."

"Mhmm..." Jam thought about it for a minute, when all of a sudden a name just popped into his mind 'Purple Sunshine!'

This Daoist name was totally random, and had nothing to do with the Daos Jam studied, his personality, or really, anything about him. But after the name appeared in his mind, Jam couldn't forget it, and decided his Daoist name should be Purple Sunshine.

Jam typed "Purple Sunshine" into the computer and confirmed this name to be his IGT.

Evangeline and Rina were surprised with Jam's choice, but the matter of one's Daoist name was up to themselves, so they didn't say anything. They took this opportunity to tell Jam their Daoist name, since he would have to know anyways when they went to the Titanic Beast Mountain Range.

Evangeline's Daoist name was Returning Void, and Rina's Daoist name was Shinestar. 

Daoist names would be used when cultivators left their sect — or academy — and interacted with foreign cultivators. Jam would come to know members of other sects by their Daoist name until he reached a close enough relationship to know that person's real name. It was a way for people to recognize cultivators by their own merits, instead of their ancestry.

After Jam finished setting up his computer, virtual reality capsule, IGT, and Cloud account, he stored everything he bought in his Spatial Storage Dimension. Jam's group then left the Hall of Affair, and walked to their classroom.

Jam's group finally made it to the classroom. There, they waited for Cecily to come and pick them up. Cecily would take the core disciples into her flying vessel, to reach the Titanic Beast Mountain Range. 

The Titanic Beast Mountain Range is outside of Yhamnigh. In other words, the core disciples would be traveling through space to reach their destination.

One by one, the rest of the core disciples entered the classroom. They passed time by chatting amongst one another. Evangeline and Arnold were the only two core disciples that didn't participate in the chatting. Evangeline still didn't treat the rest of the core disciples as equals, and Arnold was cultivating the aspect of Self, until Cecily entered the classroom. 

It was seven in the morning when Cecily reached the classroom. Cecily looked into the classroom, and after confirming that everyone was present said "Good. Seeing that everyone's already here, let's go."

Follow the adventures of a boy named Jam on his journey to gain a purpose. Thrust onto the world of cultivation because of the silly encouragement of his foster grandmother and his ridiculously one-track-minded self, Jam's adventure is bound to be full of action, comedy, and self discovery. Hopefully, his stupidity will be cured before it affects his life too badly.

See, as soon as a truck hits you, you will only appreciate life. Hahaha. And seriously, you won't appreciate it, because if you just have a truck and you will die. Funny truth, I had it and I'm standing in a darkroom, it's fucking dark and boring. It is true that I float in the air, you heard so well. But what if I got bored after a few seconds.

On a deserted island in the middle of the ocean, a man is waking up. 

"Oww my head. What the hell? Where am i?" 

This man is Stephen Harker. On a flight from Boston Logan International Airport to El Prat Barcelona his plane was caught in a freakish thunderstorm and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. He was on his way to meet his friends who were already in Barcelona for Spring-Break. 

"Ohh now I remember. The plane went down into the ocean. So that means I must have somehow miraculously survived the crash and now I am on this island." 

Looking around the island Stephen was confused. Despite the fact he is a survivor of a plane crash, his clothes looked like they were in pristine condition as if the whole crash never happened. The island itself didn't have any debris of the plane wash up on its shore. It was like the whole thing never happened and yet Stephen could still vividly remember the plane plummeting to the surface and he could still remember the feeling when the plane touched the ocean surface. 

The only thing he found was a book next to him with a strange title: "Open this book when you wake up Stephen". Looking around the rest of the island Stephen could see that it was basically empty with the exception of a few trees. The island itself was barely any bigger than a tennis court.  

Deciding that he had nothing to lose he proceeded to open the book. The moment he opened the book a blinding light suddenly erupted out of it. A few moment later after the light died down a chair with a desk and what looked a TV screen appeared in front of him. Before he could even question the absurdity of the situation the TV suddenly springs to live and what appeared on it was a man in white beard wearing a white robe sitting at a table. 

"What the hell is going on around here?!" 

"Ahh Stephen, I see you are finally awake. Very good. Now I know you must have like a million questions, but let me speak first before you ask your questions. 
In case you are wondering what is going on? Let me answer it for you. You, Stephen Harker, are dead. You have died in the plane crash and are right now in a processing station. You are neither on Earth nor in Heaven or Hell. The reason for why you are here is because you are being offered a chance to live another life in a world of your choosing. So what do you say about it Stephen?" 

"What are you talking about?! And first of, who the hell are you?! And what is this bullshit about some chance to live in another world?!" 

"Ahahaha.... My boy Stephen, calm down first. And second, I am what you people on Earth would call God. And the reason why you are here and not in Heaven or in Hell is because of the opportunity I am presenting you right now. The reason for this opportunity is because of a little girl named Clarissa Anderson. Do you remember her?" 

"Clarissa? You mean little Clarissa from the woman's shelter I volunteered at in the weekends?! What does she have to do with any of this?!" 

"She has a lot to do with this. That little Clarissa who you have spent so much time with in the women's shelter, she grew up to become the president of America. After your death she was so heartbroken that she almost gave in to despair, but remembering all the weekends that you spent with her playing games, watching TV and such has left a lasting impression on her. Thanks to your selflessness in spending so much time with her, listening to her and frankly making her temporarily forget her horrible life she was inspired to work really hard to repay you for being her best friend. She went on to become a women's rights advocate and eventually became the Senator for the State of Massachusetts. And later on she became the first female of America and signed sweeping anti domestic violence bills into law, doing great work to slow down climate change and overall improving the lives of regular people of America. So in short, thanks to your work at the women's shelter and especially with Clarissa Anderson you have managed to impact the lives of many people for the better. And because of that I have come her to offer you a choice. 
I will give you three choices:  
A - You will move on and go to Heaven  
B - You will be reborn in your world but without your memories  
C - You will be transported to a world of your own choice    " 

Hearing how his life had managed to make such a big, but indirect impact on the lives of many and how the little girl who he used to play with at the women's shelter became the president left Stephen in tears. But hearing the fact that he was offered a chance to another world, the otaku in him just couldn't pass up this opportunity. 

"Let's say I want to go to another world. Does this mean I will be reborn in another and lose all of my memories and such?" 

"If you do choose to go to another world, you will be given the option choosing how you wish to go there yourself. Whether you want to be reborn or not, whether you want to keep memories and such is all up to you. So tell me which world do you want to go to?" 

"You already knew that I would choose the third option huh. Well then, I want to be transported to the world of One Piece but with my memories intact. I want to be transported to 5 years before the main story begins, I want to be at the age of 14 when I enter that world and lastly make me look like Counter Guardian Emiya from the Fate-series." 

"Very well then. In addition to that I will also grant you three wishes. Consider it a little extra for your charity work and subsequent the impact it had on the lives of millions. But before you make any wish, here is a warning to you. You cannot wish for any kind of system like power to bring with you. Other than that you are free to wish whatever you want." 

Being told that in addition to being transported he would also be granted three wishes was like a dream come true, despite the fact that a wish for a system is not an option didn't deter Stephen even a tiny bit. 

"Well for my first wish, I wish to be granted all of the ocular powers of the Sharingan, the Mangekyo Sharingan and the Rinnegan. 
For my second wish, I wish to have the Dark-forged blade Yamato.
And for my third wish, I wish to have the bloodline of Vergil with all of his skills." 

"Well then consider it done." And with a snap of his fingers God had sent Stephen on his way to a new world armed with magnificent skills for him to use. 

Waking up a little while later, Stephen found himself again on an island. But this time the island was much bigger and it was basically a jungle. Just as he wanted to get up he notices something in his left hand and quickly realizes that its the Yamato. Looking around he sees a letter on the ground in front of him. Opening the letter and reading it, he reads that its a message from God. The letter says that he has been transported to the world of One Piece and as of this moment he is on an island in the East Blue 5 years before the start of the main story. The letter says that God had transported him to this island so that he could train himself to become stronger for the story, but that he was free to leave and return whenever he wanted. At the bottom of the letter was a tiny mirror included. Taking a look in the mirror he was met with the face Counter Guardian Emiya but much younger looking and the Sharingan's. Looking around he truly came to the realization that he was in another world and that  

"Hahahahahahahaha, it's real!!! IT'S ALL REAL!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA.... I really am in a new world!!! Ohh man, I am gonna have an adventure of a lifetime HAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

Mesa Uchiha, after dominating the ATG universe decided to take a vacation. And for that he entered the One Piece Universe and decided to tag along with Strawhat Pirates Crew. And along the way, fight against the strongest that world has to offer and finally see what this legendary 'One Piece' is.
