A mage's chariot rolled through the city the magically made horse's hooves clip-clopped against the stone pavement as they walked through the bustling streets. People moved out of the large chariot's way as it made it's normal route through the city and to the circle's headquarters. The sound of rain pitter-pattering against the roof of the chariot echoed throughout the cabin.
 Terry sighed as they passed the Trader's Inn in the chariot. He looked over at Darryl, "Why can't we stop to eat at the Trader's Inn" Terry questioned.
Darryl sighed, "I don't know much about it but a class C died during her mission in an unexpected lich attack. I know we wouldn't need to worry about liches but it is a broad change in the system. We have to go immediately back after our mission's done."
Roger looked over at Terry who looked physically hurt after hearing Darryl's explanation, "So what's so good about the Trader's Inn Candlelight?"
Terry slowly turned his head to Roger as his face contorted to something nasty, "Why do you keep calling me that?" 
Roger shrugged and smiled, "It's a habit I guess." The chariot started to slow down as it approached the circle. When the horses passed the gate they disappeared in a cloud of grey smoke. With the horses gone the chariot instantly stopped parallel with the front gate.
"Well stop," Terry said jumping out of the carriage leaving Darryl and Roger behind, "I'm going to my room just take the gold for yourself." He yelled.
Darryl watched as Terry left, "Odd," Darryl smiled and turned his head back to Roger, "Don't worry about him. He's just acting a little odd right now."
Roger shook his head, "No I get why he's acting the way he is. I've been pretty mean to him in the past. I picked on him a lot in the orphanage."
Darryl nodded his head in understanding, "I see. Well, you are a part of the circle now a companion to each other. No more picking on each other understood?"
Roger sighed looking back down to the chariot floor, "Yeah understood."
Terry entered the circle and eyed the line, 'Darryl is going to have to wait a while to get his gold. That's a long line.'
'But he'll get it. Why are you letting him have the entire reward?' Erebus questioned.
Terry shrugged his shoulders, 'I still have plenty of money so I'm not too worried about it.' He walked through the hallway that leads into his room. With a sigh, he opened the door and entered, "Home sweet home."
'At least you are relaxed here. I was surprised how much you liked the boy I could have sworn you hated a week ago.'
'I… don't want to talk about that. It was just the way he was acting when his partner took over. It was… interesting.' Terry thought to himself as he took his shirt off to get more comfortable. He laid down in the large bed looked to the ceiling. 'I'm not tired.'
'I can tell.'
'Why don't you go to the library?' Erebus questioned as he brought Terry's attention to the pamphlet that sits on his desk side.
Terry sat up and reached for the pamphlet. The map to the Circle's building was on the front the library was down the hall. 'What can we do in the library?" Terry questioned.
'You can read spells. Try to learn and prepare some new spells as long as you aren't using our real powers.' Erebus responded.
'Fine, It's not like I have anything else to do,' Terry stood up and found a lighter shirt a tanktop that the circle provide for when it was warm. Terry put it on and walked out following the pamphlet's instructions heading straight down the hallway to the library of the circle.
Terry stopped at a set of double doors on the end of the hallway, "This must be it." Terry said to himself opening the doors leading to a massive expanse of books that lined the walls and rose to the ceiling. The shelves were at least three stories high and lined with books. A large see-through glass dome was on the ceiling the rain was continuing to fall but the sound of the water hitting against the dome was hard to hear.
"There's a lot of books in here," Terry said to himself looking around but the number of mages reading spell books was surprisingly non-existent. There wasn't even a librarian anywhere to be seen. Terry walked in walking through the aisles formed by the massive bookshelves. All of the books seemed to be color-coded and numbered.
He stopped at a red book that was numbered one, "This brings back memories." Terry grabbed the book reading through it. "Fire Magic For Beginners. This was the fire magic spell book I could read."
Terry smiled as his mind went back to the time when he had to choose his attunement. Matron Maya sat five books of different colors in front of him when he was twelve years old. "Now Terry we're going to figure out what magic attunement you have. Each of these books represents different elements. Ice, Fire, Wind, Lightning, and Nature." Maya said to Terry with a wide smile on her face.
 Terry nodded his head and grabbed the yellow book first and opened it up attempting to read it but it seemed blurry and unreadable, "Matron? I can't read this."
Maya smiled, "Then that means this book isn't for you. So you aren't lightning keep going. Pick another book." She said.
Terry grabbed the green book and opened it. It was unreadable at first but slowly it all came into focus and became readable in his hands. "I can read this one!" Terry said with excitement.
"Hmm, so you have an affinity to wind magic." Maya said with a smile, "Keep going through them."
Terry grabbed the blue book and couldn't read it followed by the brown book both were unreadable. Terry sighed grabbing the last book which was bright red. Just like the green book it started blurry then quickly became readable. "I can read this one too!"
"Oh interesting you have two affinities? So… choose fire magic or wind magic."
Terry smiled to himself putting the red spellbook back on the shelf. "I wonder if things would have been different if I would have chosen wind?" Terry said to himself seeing a series of blue books next to the red books. 
Terry smiled to himself grabbing the blue book labeled one it instantly became clear as day, "Heh…" Terry read a few pages and smiled putting his arm out looking behind him to see if anyone was looking, "Glaciar." Terry whispered. Instantly a large spear of freezing ice rose out of the ground. 
He slowly put the book back and then grabbed the yellow book it was readable as well. Terry laughed even harder as he read through the pages every spell he read he seemed to memorize instantly. Terry stuck his finger out toward the ice spear, "Jolt." The ice spear lit up in bright yellow lightning, "YES!" Terry exclaimed.
"NO YELLING IN THE LIBRARY!" A disembodied voice echoed around him yet still no librarian was in sight.
"Sorry." Terry said quietly, "Does that mean I can read all these?"
'I wasn't sure but yes it seems you can.' Erebus said.
Terry spent hours reading through each book without much time reading one spell at a time Terry memorized everyone he read on the first read. Yellow 1-8, Ice 1-8, Wind 1-8, Fire four through twelve finishing the entire series of fire spellbooks. Terry smiled to himself as he finished putting the last fire book away as he heard the door open and some footsteps a few aisles away. 
Terry stood still as a familiar face appeared in his aisles, "Oh Terry. How you been this last week?" Alison the Phoenix questioned looking past Terry seeing the melting glacier of ice, "Seems one of our ice mages made a mess again huh?" She questioned, "It's like they don't care that someone can slip and fall on their mess huh?" She questioned.
Terry shrugged and nodded his head, "Yeah it was like that when I got here. I didn't see who did it." 
"So what were you reading?" She questioned with a smile on her face reaching up to grab the ninth book of fire magic. 
Terry smiled, "I was just brushing up on my fire magic is all."
"I see I was trying to push past mine. I thought I got a lot stronger but I still can't read fire magic nine."
Terry laughed, "You'll get there eventually. You have a lot of people rooting for you so I know you'll get there."
Alison closed her eyes and sighed closing the book putting it back, "Thanks."
Terry scratched the back of his head, "Well I gotta get back to my room. I've been reading for a while and I'm getting tired." Terry said with a wide smile.
"No worries. I'll be here. I need to read some more on book eight anyway. There has to be something I'm missing why I can't read nine yet."
Terry smiled as he began to walk away, "You'll figure it out soon." Terry left Alison behind and the library going back to his room. He locked the door behind him and sighed, "Are we really this far ahead of everyone? Our power is ridiculous." Terry said quietly heading to the bed to lay down to sleep.
'Now you are starting to notice.'
"Yeah…"

"There are nine floors in the Ice and Snow Shrine and we're on the fifth floor. Does that mean we have to go up floor by floor? What will we find on the next floors?" whispered Lin Feng. The test on the previous floor was about determination, what did the test of the fifth floor consist of?
"Let's sit and see." Then, both Lin Feng and Yi Ren Lei sat down, surrounded by fire.
Most of the people there were ice cultivators, so the previous floor hadn't surprised them. However, that floor possessed a powerful fire which wasn't suitable for them.

"That's moon and sun dual Qi!" thought Lin Feng. Moon and sun energies were flowing throughout the book, changing and flashing. The fire in the book turned into ice, and then the ice turned to fire again.
Fire, ice, impermanence, the four seasons.

The moon and the sun were interdependent, the same applied to fire and ice. Ice could burn like fire.

"Let's see what kind of ancient scripture that is." said someone rising up. He looked at the book, but it seemed to contain ordinary scriptures, so he wasn't that interested. He came from a rich clan who had their own ancient scriptures.
A gigantic hand made of ice moved towards the book, however, as soon as it touched the book, that person was propelled backwards. The gigantic hand broke apart and the cultivator's very hand burnt. It was half burnt, half frozen, actually.
"Ah…" he gave a horrible shriek and shook his hand violently, trying to get rid of the pain.
Crackling sound ensued as he used his blood strength to heal, but it didn't work. Even though Zun cultivators could use their blood to heal and could even grow new body parts again, if the injuries were too serious, they couldn't completely heal.
After that person lost his arm, the fire continued to attack him, piercing him through his wound.
"No need to pay attention to that book right now. You need to understand both fire and ice Qi to take it." said Lin Feng to Yi Ren Lei using telepathy.
Yi Ren Lei nodded. She was wondering how to resist those energies herself.

As the netherworld ice gets weaker the air gets colder and colder until he finally reaches a room covered in netherworld ice. There was a small deposit of a crystal clear liquid. It was the culprit weakening the ice; it was sucking in all the coldness form the ice around it.

Looking at all NetherWorld ice Leon couldn't help but say. "There is so much netherworld ice here. I'm about to lose a treasure mine." 

He walked up i the pond, In it was a snow white egg. The egg had weird etchings of an unknown language in a faded black covering it.

"That's what I'm after, but first let's make the most of the situation."

Leon takes out the an empty bottle from the spatial ring in his mouth. It was the one he got from the treasury that had stored the Fire Winged Snake blood and filled it with the clear liquid. "It would be normally impossible to find Ice Crystal Liquid- especially something this high quality." He fills the bottle to the limit but still has most of the ice crystal liquid left.

Ice crystal liquid is found on the bottom of oceans when thousand year old ice is liquefied due to pressure over millions of years. 

He picked up a small piece of netherworld ice and swallowed it. Making sure to keep the spatial ring in his mouth away from the cold energy.

Leon started running the first level of the ice art he found in the clan treasury. It was the three pages of low earth rank ice technique he got front the clans treasury. At first he felt cold and started to shiver but then he stopped as he got more efficient at using the art.

But soon after he stated feeling cold and hot where his body started turning blue. The Phoenix egg in his soul book unconsciously responds by releasing fire elemental energy. at this point Leon felt his body tearing apart. He would feel a burning sensation then a freezing sensation, rather then cancel each other out they seemed enhance each other.

Leon let out a loud grunt and then scratches his nails across his legs. He crawled to the ice crystal liquid and dips his tongue into it. 

Leon starts to drink the ice crystal liquid. He drank it fast stopping any of the energy reaching the spatial ring. The Phoenix egg continues to release more and more heat energy. Leon eventually drinks all the liquid. He could feel his soul cooling and slowly freezing. He couldnt see any more, neither could he feel. His body felt numb, from muscles to emotions, even time seemed to have stop. Slowly he lost all his senses. He even felt his consciousness escaping. But he knew that if he faints now he would die for sure. 

Leon tries to move his body but feels no response but continues his action knowing that his body should still be able to move. with quick jerk, using the energy left his body moves almost instinctively and bites his wrist pouring his blood on the egg on the bottom of the now empty pond.

The human and the egg form a mysterious connection. Leon soul book manifests and starts to change, the pure crimson book had a little dot of blue on one of the edges.

Leon finally regains his senses, with his tremendously increased ice affinity and with the help of his new contract beast. The egg starts absorbing the ice elemental energy in him. The Mystic Ice art levels up to the second level and helps him send the cold ice energy into the egg much faster.

While in this time Leon starts to sulk. "All the ice crystal liquid I drank, if properly collected and used could have made dozens of beast go through major evolutions. Although it help increase my ice affinity, it is too much of a waste."

The egg turns brighter and brighter until it finally hatches. The shell breaks apart to reveal a small snake the size of a finger. Completely white with translucent black eyes.

The small snake started circling around the room and eating the netherworld ice on the walls as it was about to eat it's second bite Leon grabbed it and started running out of the cave. He spat out the spatial ring and put it back on.

The cave started to crack and all the ice shattered. Leon swiftly grabbed as many shards of netherworld ice as he could and ran.

He unsummoned the white snake and used the ice art to form a sludge hammer which smashed the resealed magma wall. He jumped into the magma and summoned the Phoenix egg and grabbed into it.

Using the Phoenix egg as a mount Leon controlled it out of the magma back to the surface. Over there he could feel a torrent of fire energy being absorbed by the volcano.

"So that is why the volcano erupted, it was being sealed by that cave so when I removed all the ice crystal liquid it turned active again."

"But how did Orion find this cave in the first place. I only know that he got his Frost Dragon from here after soul searching him."

But the white snake I got clearly is no Frost Dragon, it should be frost snake. Leon decides to face the problem on hand first. With a gesture he sends the Phoenix egg down into the magma making go as deep as it can go.

"I was not expecting such a large reserve of energy inside the volcano, I thought it would take around four years even if I sped things up using various methods but now it'll take less then three."

"Sorry buddy we will have to separate for now. I'll come back in a while, you should absorb as much fire elemental energy as you can and hatch out of that egg so we can be together."
Leon sends his intention through the blood soul pact and knew the Phoenix egg had accepted what he said. He felt as if he could hear a faint cry of the Phoenix resonate through his soul.

"Well it seems like the volcano won't be erupting as long as the egg is in the magma as it'll absorb all the fire elemental energy being released." Leon went around in the volcano erasing anything that would show his presence and told the Phoenix egg to hide its presence using the pact.

After climbing out Leon wanted to find a place to rest. Leon went to the cave with the pool of water. As he was about to wash himself he noticed his skin was fairer, his hair colour had changed, it had turned completely white and even his eyes had turned blue. 

"Well now I need to hide this, that ice crystal liquid was way too powerful, it even mutated my genes, well I can't go back to the clan like this."

Leon finished washing himself and sat down and started cultivating the formless aura art "If I reach level two I should be able to change my appearance, with that I'll be able to go back to the clan" he summoned the white snake and took out the netherworld ice shards giving the snake a few to eat.

The elemental energy flowed through him but the art was far from leveling up. "Well I guess I'll be going on a trip much earlier then I thought."

He looked at the soul book he summoned. There was a blue dot it was barely visible. Leon grabbed the book and started rubbing the blue dot. When he saw it didn't disappear started to think "soul books are known to always be the same color as they started. They may grow in shades but never to a completely different color like how my book has blue on it. This means my soul book has been mutated by the strong ice element."

He continued to look in his body for changes. using internal sight Leon could feel even his bones had mutated many of them had small parts of them turn into ice. He felt his blood carried a lot more ice energy. He dropped his blood on the ground to see that It froze the ground. He checked deeply into the ice in his body, his instincts were telling him there was more to it. Leon circulated the fire energy he could feel that the ice had a fire in it. It was trapping fire energy.

Long ago beast and humans were living together in harmony. 

But all changed the demons broke through dimensions and attacked.

Each book I picked up contained a level of profundity which was simplified but yet still complex, it gave the feeling that the answer was right at your fingertips but yet still far away. It would be as if I someone was using the horse and carrot trick to make the horse move. Each word contained a myriad of interpretations.
After reading over five books on the what cultivation meant I was able to figure out one answer and it seemed to be the only logical answer.
Cultivation was plundering what others have to make yourself stronger and there was room for the weak when it came cultivation.
A book titled 'At the bottom of the Well' written by a cultivator who was once clueless about the world of cultivation describe the world of cultivation as 'A world above a world, a power above powers and a world filled with mysteries and wonders unexplainable!' he went further to say;
'The world of cultivation is the world of the strong and the strong willed it was not a world for the weak of heart and frail of mind, anyone seeking to venture must first have strength before even being able to think about venturing into this world'
The book was all about how a person who had never come across cultivation perceived this world of cultivation for the first time as he interacted with cultivators, he said that the only way to even survive was to have strength. 
I picked up a different book about the what it meant to cultivate. Cultivating was described as communicating with the powers of the universe.
The power of the universe referred to a different kind of energy it was just like star energy but different, it was basically like Qi in Asia at least that was what they understood it as when they practiced, some people called it the energy of the gods, some Astral energy.
It was all of that and more it was the boundless energy of creation, it was called Cosmic Energy. I had no idea what was the difference between the Cosmic Energy and Star energy despite asking Blue, it seems that Blue could not answer all questions.
I kept flipping page after page as I explored the boundless knowledge contained in each book I picked up, it was a very worthwhile endeavor.
The knowledge contained in these books were sometimes too profound and from what I could tell most of these books had been translated which meant that in a way the profundity contained in each text had been reduced to a low level allowing people to easily comprehend the meaning behind each text but at the same a lot of key information may have been missed.
I eventually started touching more books with a simplified translation and yet the profundity hidden inside these books were on a whole new level compared to what I had been reading before. If what I had been reading before was a book containing simple one- or two-line sentences then right now I was trying to read a half an encyclopedia at least.
Energies were basically a different and more solid form of elemental powers, like fire, air, water, earth.
I was reading book on energies and the different characteristics of energy, each type being different with its opposing counterpart. Some of the book focused on a single kind of energy.
The first book I read on this topic contained numerous insights into various forms of energy but no concrete area of specialization instead letting me better understand the nature of each type of energy in a manner that did not really explain anything at all.
I easily skimmed through them as I picked one on Ice Energy, Ice energy was basically two elements combined together. Ice energy was the combination of the water element and air at a level which would produce cold energy and slowly turn into ice energy once mastered. Although people are attuned to a particular element some people may be able to connect to one or two more elements.
Elemental Powers were closely related to people's nature in attitude, most often people who were aloof and disconnected with their surroundings found it easier to develop Ice powers of the Ice elemental nature and fiery people who were easily angered easily connected with Fire element.
The concept of communicating with the elemental powers around us would make us more attuned to that particular element and strengthen the power of the cultivator.
Cultivation also depended on a person's location, for people who cultivating fire elemental powers they would progress at staggering speeds when they trained at places with intense heat and fire energy, places like an active volcano and areas with higher temperatures.
People who cultivated ice elemental powers would progress faster when cultivating in an area with lots of ice as it would help deepen their understanding of ice elemental power.
The location of cultivation would also depend on how abundant Cosmic Energy was in a particular place, some areas had a high level of cosmic energy when compared to others that it may even dwarf them but other areas lack Cosmic energy that it was hard for anything to survive in such areas and these areas were described as Void lands.
Each type of energy had its advantages and disadvantages, fire was easily countered by Ice and Water elemental powers if said powers were strong enough and Vice versa. Earth easily countered thunder elemental powers.
The Fire element was of a violent and destructive nature, while water element was of a gentle nature except under certain circumstances which were influenced by the cultivator, each element had a unique characteristic which was what made it different from the rest.
Earth element was of a sturdy nature and served as a great means of defense and also destruction but not to the level of the Fire element. The thunder element was of a more destructive and chaotic nature than that of the fire element. 
There was no weaker or stronger element, each element was as powerful as the other it all depended on the strength of the cultivation.
Cosmic energy was the combination of all the different nature of elemental energy combined together and balanced out in a way that made them all not just appear as one but rather become one.
It was a form of energy so profound it could no longer be understood and yet it was still much more than what Cosmic energy was supposed to be. After reading numerous books on Energies and elemental powers there was no clear definition or description of what Cosmic Energy was.
At the end of each book it was said that the what was written inside might be less than the tip of an ice berg of what Cosmic energy truly was and yet it had limitless forms and understanding.
There was never any mention of what Star energy was but I had the feeling that it was not that far from being something of the nature of that of Cosmic energy. I had no idea how long I had been reading the books for, so I just stood up and wandered to another shelf of books wondering what topic I might end up choosing now.
There was no actual right answer to anything I chose right now but I felt satisfied after reading all those books on cultivation and energy, I wanted to know more about the art of cultivating but I was hesitant, so far every single thing I had grasped about cultivation was barely the scratch of the surface.
I decided to ask Blue if it was possible form to cultivate.
[No, well not exactly no but right now you are already cultivating but it's not in the conventional method which other people do making it so they cannot tell if you are cultivating] said Blue.
[What's that supposed to mean exactly? Does that mean that I am a cultivator but so far I have not been communicating with Cosmic energy and all that other thing and I don't remember even having an elemental nature I am attuned to] I said.
[Look at it this way other people are normal but you are not exactly normal, are you?] he asked.
[It makes sense, I am truly not normal like other people which most probably mean that I will not be able to cultivate like other people] I answered as I scratched my head. All the reading had gotten to me.
[Look it's not that you can't cultivate like other people do but you just are not suitable for that method because doing so would cause you more harm than good] said Blue.

This is a story of 4 girls and they all have abbilities. The abbilities are speed, invisiblty, strength, and lastly fire and ice. One of them has two abbilities which is fire and ice.

In a world almost parallel to ours, Four Kingdoms stood. One was the Majestic Fire Kingdom and the other was the Powerful Ice Kingdom, whereas the rest were the Fairy Kingdom and the Nameless Kingdom. Both the Fire and Ice Kingdoms were the nearest to each other, thus they were great friends.
Now. at this very moment, the Ice King was pacing restlessly around the throne room, awaiting the news of the birth of his first child. Soon, the hurried footsteps of a maid could be heard from the corridors, eventually nearing the room. The doors eventually burst open, a haggard and drenched midwife rushed forward and announced, "Your Majesty! The Queen has given birth to a Princess!". The Ice King beamed with delight and thought to himself, "It is time.", he then hurried off with the midwife to the Ice Queen's quarters. 
As soon as they entered the Queen's quarters, the Ice King immediately hurried towards the Ice Queen's side. Seeing how exhausted she was after giving birth, he bent down and kissed her forehead, telling her to rest. He proceeded to carry his newborn Ice Princess from her crib.
"What should I name you?" the Ice King thought to himself. Just then, one of the maids exclaimed and pointed towards the scenery outside, "Your Majesty! Look! It's finally snowing!". The Ice King then turned to look out the window and noticed a snowflake softly touch the floors of the castle, with others following along. 
The Ice King smiled and announced, "The arrival of the First Princess brought snow back to our Kingdom, thus she shall be named Snow." After his announcement, everyone began to cheer for both the Ice King and his newborn Ice Princess. The Ice King then continued with a decision to host a party for the birth of his first child and everyone in the Ice Kingdom, as well as the other Kingdoms were invited to celebrate as well.
Let's pause for a moment shall we? Dear reader, you must have certain queries about the story up until now, am I right? 
Like, "Isn't this the Ice Kingdom? Isn't it supposed to snow everyday?" 
Well, you're not wrong, and in fact the Ice Kingdom did use to snow everyday. However, as soon as the Ice Queen became pregnant, the Kingdom stopped snowing with only little ice around and it only began snowing again when the Ice Princess was born. Alright, back to story.
The Ice King was a Man of His Word, as the moment he announced that he were to host a party in celebration of the birth of his firstborn, everybody at the Castle began working extremely hard to plan the event and invitations were sent to the Fire Kingdom, Fairy Kingdom as well as the mysterious Nameless Kingdom.
Suddenly, a thought struck the Ice King, it was time for him to pay a visit to the Book of Fates. The Book of Fates was a very special book that records the fates of each of the Four Kingdoms in that universe, and only one person of each Kingdom could access it. For this instance, from the Ice Kingdom; the Ice King, from the Fire Kingdom; the Fire Queen, from the Fairy Kingdom; the Fairy Princess and from the Nameless Kingdom; the No-Man.
Strangely enough, the Book of Fates enjoys changing the people who could have access to it and only those with a print of a star on their palms could access it. Which means when you are no longer accessible to the Book, the mark on your palm would vanish. The Book of Fates also has one other rule, which would be that the accessor would only be able to see the fate of their own Kingdom and can only share the information with their other half (legal husband or wife) and that if anyone were to expose and break the secrecy, their whole Kingdom would immediately fall into ruins. The Book is also only to be accessed when either a Royal is born or when the Kingdom is in grave trouble.
The Ice King rode his Ice Horse and headed towards the Forbidden Forest, inside the Cave of Life and Death, where the Book of Fates resides. The Forbidden Forest is located in the middle of the Four Kingdoms, making the Book accessible to them all.
Upon reaching the cave, the Ice King dismounted his horse and slowly entered the cave. Deep inside the cave, there was a golden stone podium and upon it stood the Book of Fates. As the Ice King walked closer, and stood at the step before the podium, four coloured crystals emerged to the cover of the Book, each representing the Four Kingdoms. The Ice Kingdom; an Aquamarine, the Fire Kingdom; a Red Quartz, the Fairy Kingdom; a Rhodochrosite and the Nameless Kingdom; a Serpentine. 
The Ice King then hovered his palm above the Book of Fates and the Aquamarine crystal began to glow brightly. The Book of Fates soon opened up to the pages which belonged to the Ice Kingdom. There is wrote:

As the snow falls, the Healer comes forth, bringing Prosperity to the Kingdom. Once Purpura* forms, the Healer would vanish and doom would reign until the return.

After reading, the Ice King closed the Book of Fates, his facial expression turned dark and he silently returned to the Ice Kingdom. He knew what that meant and what was to come, however there was nothing he could do. Their fate was inevitable as the invitations have already been sent out and it would have been rude to withdraw them, which could also result in the collapse of peace where the four Kingdoms have cultivated all these years.
The Ice King entered his throne room and sat thinking about the Prophecy, he was so deep in thought that he did not even realise his beloved Ice Queen's presence. "My King." she called out, the Ice King jumped a little due to the shock but recovered quickly and replied, "Yes, my dear?" The Ice Queen approached and sat next to him, asking, "Are you alright? You seem really bothered." The Ice King gave a small smile and nodded, whilst holding the Ice Queen's hand in his palms lightly caressing, reassuring her with his actions.
In the end, he still could not bear to bring himself to tell his Queen about the prophecy as he did not wish to burden her with his worries.
Meanwhile, at the Fairy Kingdom…
"Your Highness! The Ice Kingdom has sent an invitation." the fairy maid said whilst handling the party invitation to the hands of the reigning Crown Princess of the Fairy Kingdom. She opened the envelope and smiled to herself saying, "Finally, the time has come. I can finally avenge you, my dear Brother."

Walkthrough the life of Emma, an ordinary girl. Or should I say, Snow, Princess of the Ice Kingdom?

  After I picked up the history book and dusted it off I didn't realize it but it also said "Cursed Bloodline" in the title so it would be "The Cursed Bloodline of the Heavenly Ice Wolves".

  "Is my bloodline cursed?" I thought. I opened the book because my interest had reached it's peak and I opened it.

  Long ago before the fire dragons were kicked out of the Immortal World there were 2 races that had absolute control over ice. The Spiritual Ice Dragons and the Heavenly Ice Wolves had 2 different types of ice that made sure no one would go to war with them, they were respectively ice that could ignore all forms of defense if trained hard enough controlled by the wolves and ice that directly attacked the soul controlled by the spiritual ice dragons. Due to them being the banes of the fire dragons they were extremely wary when they descended into the Mortal Realm.

  The fire dragons in the Immortal World apparently eradicated the Heavenly Ice Wolves in the higher realms and then attacked the Spiritual Ice Dragons and killed off most of them before the entire Dragon Race threw them out except for their Godly Fusion experts and eggs because they attacked an ally and they locked up with the help of the Ice God who froze them with pieces of eternal ice to be unsealed at a later date.

  Despite this the heavenly wolf princess, Lui Mei was being pursued by the spiritual dragon prince Bai Gu. He got angry that she wouldn't accept his advances and attacked her secretly. This ended up becoming a life and death battle with the princess ending Bai Gu's life with some ice spikes.

 I was surprised and thought "didn't that describe the bloodline memory I received a couple months after I was born?" My thought was proven when I saw the illustration of the next page that show a wolf with a small portion of its back covered in ice and a dragon impaled in the mouth, foot, and chest. I got even more interested and continued reading.

  This caused the Spiritual Ice Dragons to become enraged and the Dragon Emperor of their race declared war on them and the Wolf Emperor did the same. After a century of going to war both of their races were dwindling in numbers. Each clan in the heavenly wolf tribe had less then a thousand members and the Wolf Emperor's wife had died along with all his sons and daughters while he had his soul severely injured.

  The Spiritual Dragon Emperor had died along with all his daughters (Bai Gu was his only son) and had left behind 2 eggs who had yet to hatch. Their royal bloodline only had the 3 previous emperors left to help them and they were sleeping throughout the whole war.

 The fire dragons acting as the oriole ambushed the Spiritual Dragon Race thinking they could kill the old dragon emperors in their sleep. They killed most of the Spiritual Dragon Race before the older emperors awoke. They had a massive battle with the fire dragon race along and they allied with the heavenly ice wolves who they recently ended their war with.

  One of the old dragon emperors managed to use his abilities by burning half his life force to put a seal on their 3 strongest bloodline abilities and their All Encompassing Soul Flame. This severely damaged the  fire dragons attack power and caused a turning point in the war and the fire dragons were on the losing side.

  Unknown to everyone the Wolf Emperor had thoughts of revenge on his mind betrayed the spiritual ice dragons and killed the Fire Dragon Emperor and one of the old dragon emperors. This causes the fire dragons to retreat and the one of the old dragon emperors to burn his life force to put many seals on the heavenly ice wolf bloodline which were their beast forms and half their top abilities including the piercing ice which could ignore all forms of defense severely weakening the heavenly ice wolves. From then on even though they were feared they were shunned by both the Spiritual Beast Race and the Human Race didn't accept them as one of them. There was a illustration on the next page and it showed a massive wolf in the middle of battlefield of dragons and wolves standing on a lotus of ice as shards flew outwards.

  Once the old dragon emperor completed the seals he died and the remaining old dragon emperor retreated collecting the 2 eggs the Spiritual Ice Dragon Emperor left behind and placed seals on them to slow their growth and hide their aura. From then on the Spiritual Ice Dragons disappeared from the universe.

  The Heavenly Crown Empire took advantage of this to suppress both the fire dragons in the Southern Region (not yet the Dragon Realm) and the Heavenly Ice Wolves in the northern region. The Heavenly Wolf Tribe secretly built up its strength to rebel from the Heavenly Crown Empire and achieved independence. 

  The Zhang Clan after a century decided the fire dragons were still weak since they haven't rebels yet. Even thought the other clans warned us not to underestimate them we stubbornly attacked the fire dragons believing due to their pride they would refuse to be under someone else.

  We were wrong. The fire dragons sacrificed their pride to boot lick the Heavenly Emperor and his grandfather who was a Godly Fusion expert. They were hoping to be let back in the Immortal World through him and received many resources aiding in their recovery although not being able to undo the seals of the old dragon emperors.

  We had no choice but to hide in the Sealed World as it was the last stronghold the humans had in the Southern Region which was soon to be the Dragon Realm. Ever since then we've been stuck inside the Sealed World and when we learned the Southern Region became the Dragon Realm we despaired.

  Eventually a live demonstration wasn't enough to cultivate the upper level of the heavenly ice manual and we were unable to enter Void Breaking Stage and we chose to remain inside the Sealed World and hoped the rest of the clans in the tribe would come retrieve us in the future.

(This has been been updated over time by different clan leaders otherwise the author would be 1,500,000 years old)

  I was surprised by what the book was saying. Did this mean I was a wolf? Was I not human? I decided not to go to the Zhang Elder and ask him about it.

  I knocked the door and he opened it. "What do you need child?" he said . "Elder I saw in the history book in the library title "Cursed Bloodline of the Heavenly Ice Wolves" and it said we're only humans because of the seal the Spiritual Ice Dragons out on us, is that true?"

  The elder sighed and said "Although I doubt a clan leader would lie when writing about our history I've been human my whole life and I have trouble believing I'm not truly human. There's nothing other then that specific book that says we're not human. The entire Zhang Clan believes they're human as well so unless the tribe comes to get us out of the Sealed World and tells us that we won't ever know for sure."

  "Ok elder thank you for your honesty" I said as I bowed and left his house. Unknown to me the elder left after me and told the library's receptionist to remove that book from the book register and give it to me.

  
  It was night by the time I reached home and I told my mom and dad goodnight. I went to sleep and had another bloodline memory that night. I saw a massive battle going on between red dragons and white dragons along with white wolves also attacking the red dragons. After a long time of watching this the biggest wolf there jumped into the middle of the battlefield and created ice lotus. It stating shooting out ice shards in rapid succession killing both the white and red dragons. 

  I already speculated that this was the battle told inside the history book but this proved it. It was exactly the thing that was drawn inside the history book! 

  Then both the old dragons and one young smaller dragon with a couple bigger dragons following it attacked the Wolf Emperor and when they neared both the ice lotus and the giant wolf exploded. The old dragon in the front along with the big red dragons and the smaller red dragon died.

  I heard howls and roars but somehow I was able to understand them. "THE EMPEROR IS DEAD!!!" They all said. The dream ended right there and I heard a system message.

I took a deep breath. I was so excited! My hard work finally paid off and I'm finally at the spirit absorption stage! These rewards were amazing too! I ignore the seal part because it didn't explicitly say that it was a seal on my beast form though.

"The Art of Catching Snow as a Fire Fly..." Lin Fan looked through the books that the Goddess of Ice had written with disbelief on his face. He was sure she liked the Goddess of Fire after seeing her gaze  at the latter when she was fighting Zhou Ra. However, he never expected she'd have written over 20 books with female leads that fall in love.

The Goddess of Fire seemed like a town boy when he talked to her as well, but she had extremely revealing clothing in her ring as well as dozens of manuals on Seduction Arts. The Seduction Arts, though, were only for luring females and had nothing to do with males.

'Clearly... She's most invested in the Goddess of Ice then I thought..." Lin Fan gulped as he finally found a single tome called the [Law of Fires Eight Princinples]. It was a book that was from the Sacred Light Academy Library, and had a past due date of six years and seven months. Lin Fan opened the book and found the materials, instructions, and techniques to understand the Law of Fire, but once again there was a bookmark with the picture of the Goddess of Ice.

The Goddess of Ice seemed to be wearing a bikini and was promoting a Sacred Light Academy Tournament with another buxom beauty that Lin Fan couldn't take his eyes off. He sighed and closed the book before he clicked on the cover, causing a prompt to appear to download the information in the [Law of Fires Eight Principles]

'Not the best name for a book, but what can you expect from a school libraries first floor... It seems this library has seven floors and the Law of Fires Eight Principles] is on the first floor... I can't even imagine the arsenal of things I could learn if I skulked my way into that campus...'

[Law of Fires Eight Principles costs one million sadist points, and will increase understanding of fire law from zero percent to three percent... However, body will need to rest after learning the fire law for a few days..]

[The system needs to connect the laws to your spiritual pathways, and does so by rapidly inserting infromation into your spiritual cavities, however, even this process needs time to rest... You could either decide to learn the principles of the law of fire, or stick to trying to master wood...]

'The only reason I'm leaning towards fire is because everyone from the Empyrean Leagues understands the law of fire... IF I understand it a little bit, things like Boris Lang's [Hell-Fire Prison] will do less damage to me in the long run... However, if I can get the law of metal to ten percent mastery,  I will be able to download new skills related to metal right?'

"I guess I'm going with fire..." Lin Fan decided to download the information in the [Law of Fire 's Eight Principles] and suddenly felt a swirl of information enter into his head. The information spread up his arms, his legs, and his torso, causing a warm sensation to reverberate outwards, and for him to gain connection with the fire element in the air to a greater degree. A small fire ring appeared in his hand as a water droplet appeared inside of it and coalesced into a small branch. The system seemed to allow him to help him switch between his laws seamlessly, which was a process that would take others years...

He was happy that the process of learning laws was so fast, but was also worried about the limits of the system. He thought he could learn all three laws up to ten percent before he fought Boris Lang, but every treasure had its limits. However, at least now he was pretty certain his life wouldn't end due to a surprise attack by the Empyrean Championship League...

"Let me make sure I put this back in the book..." Lin Fan slid the bookmark of the Ice Goddess back into the Goddess of Fire's book and blushed as he looked at a few of the other contents of the ring. The Goddess of Fire seemed to have a sadistic mind, and had a strange bondage set that locked both the arms and legs together and came with a choker for a girls mouth...

'However... I think some of these items I'm going to keep...' Lin Fan curled up a smile as he put everything back in her ring besides the new toys he could use on his girls... 'I do need to make some points before the next round of the tournament, and I'm sure the Goddess of Fire won't mind giving these to me now that I know her secrets...'

"What... what are you doing?" Su Fan walked into the room and saw Lin Fan's body glowing purple, which was the color of perversion... "If you were feeling so frisky, you should've invited me quicker... Now that I can almost see your face, I really want to see you experiment on me with my own eyes...'

"Su Fan... I think... I think we're about to have a lot of fun..." Lin Fan walked over to her and gently locked up her hands together before pulling her in for a kiss... "I... I promise to let you see me for a few minutes, but then I'm going to have to blindfold you... I know you can see all my intentions now, and it's going to cost me points if you predict my movements..."

"Blindflolding a girl who was blind... You wouldn't be that mean would you?" Su Fan bit her lip as Lin Fan grabbed her face as pulled her towards the bed... "You aren't going to torture me too bad... Will you lover?"

"I... I think torture is the wrong word... However, it's about time daddy gets some points!"

He saw all the women he'd now get because of the Sadist System, and all the revenge he'd make those who treated him badly experience.

There were thousands of planets in Horizon, and Lin Fan's planet was just one small planet in that ring of planets that led to eternity. However, he could see himself conquering the entire universe with his system...
