I wrote this book because I really want to find a book that I read on here before. If you have also had this problem, leave a comment with the best description of the book you can give and I'll post it in a chapter.

A friend gave me two things: a blank book and a wish for me to find happiness. I decided to write my thoughts upon the former as I go on my way to search for the latter.

The sun is up and the city of Tokyo where I was transferred to was already rumbling.

I get out of bed and put on a set of clothing that I find in the closet which was probably prepared by the system.  

I find a cellphone in my jackets side pocket along with a wallet and a set of keys...

I get on the computer in the hotel and search through the web for a nearby convenience store and find one just a couple blocks The away from the hotel I'm at currently.

I get out of the building and head to the small convenience store.  I head into the kitchen tools isle and buy a kitchen knife then I head on over to the toys section because I spot a toy I'm interested in, it's a toy hand extension clamp and also pick up a binocular.  I head towards the counter and see some buns on display in a warm food display counter and I picked a couple as well as a bubble drink,  I wait my turn and then take out my wallet to pay for the goods.  The moment I open my wallet my face darkens.  I only have (3) 10,000 yen bills.   

I quickly pay for the food and mutter to myself of how cheap the system was.  It sent me a billionaire into the center of tokyo with only clothes a phone and 30,000 yen... (Note: Its about 272 dollars)

"This will probably last me about 2 days..."

sigh*

Now I need to find where his school is.

I don't remember the name of the school but I do remember that the school was near some railroad tracks.  

I head back to my apartment and get on the web's map and I start searching for high schools near railroad tracks and I find one nearby with the name of Daikoku Private Academy.  I look at pictures of the school and it matches up to the one in the anime.  If I remember correctly the book drops through from the shinigami world during lights class and he picks it up after the bell for his last class ends so it should be near the end of the school hour.  I patiently walk towards the school using the navigation of my phone and find myself in front of the school building.  It is around 12:00 now so I walk towards the school gates and find that the gate in front of the school is shut and there are security guards nearby...

hmm... I need to get past them first then... I don't believe I can just walk into the school with a kitchen knife in hand... 

I first run to a nearby store and by a backpack and stuff the items into the bag and then I move back towards the back of the school by the wall.  I throw my backpack over the wall and hear the noise of it hitting the bushes bellow. 

I then check the time.  It's only 12:30.  The classes end at 3:30 and Light can pick it up around then so it is safe to assume that no one is going to take the notebook until after the bell.  I now need a way to bypass the security and get into the school.  I'm not exactly a student so I can't just get inside  passing through the front gate by disguising as a student,  so maybe the brother of a student...

I wait 2 hours at a cafe near the school and when its around 2:30.

I walk up to the front gate.

"Hello, I'm here to pick up my little brothers backpack he forgot it yesterday, and he's sick so I was asked to come into get his stuff."

The guards look at each other and open the gates door and I verify my ID with them.

"Head straight and go through the front entrance there you'll need to go to the Main Office.  You can sign in there."

The ID is basically a real one given to me by the system upon being sent here and it's not like I'm going to head towards the office to actually sign in so it didn't matter if they saw it or not.  

I head straight down the hallway at a leisure pace and get to the back of the school.  I see the back pack that I threw in land on a bush near the back of the school and I quickly pick it up.  

Then I search the open ground area for notebook and find it under the shade in the grass.

The Death Note I finally see it.  

But I seriously can't take the book as it would effect some plans I have, the book is Ryuk's so he can trace where the book is and I don't want a book that can have a shinigami brought to me, If possible I'd like a book that isn't owned by a shinigami.  Such as Rem's Death Note so what I need is for Yagami to kill Rem first and then steal that unowned death note after he becomes L.

But even though I can't take the Death Note as a Whole I can take a page of the Notebook and as long as I don't touch it, the shinigami won't have a reason to come toward me to erase my memories.  I use the toy clamp to flip the notebook to it's last page and using the knife I bought I cut out the last page.  Just a single page of the Death Note is useful enough for me to accomplish a myriad of things.  

I stuff that page into the backpack I just bought and leave the Death Note back in its original position.  As long as I don't touch the book the death god shouldn't come towards me and that page isn't the main part of the book so Ryuk should be heading towards the book that will eventually land in Lights hands.

A single page is more than enough for me to earn some money and learn all the secrets I need about modern weaponry.

I walk out of the school without a hitch no one asked me a question as why I had a backpack with me.

Then I quietly wait for Light to come out of the school and just like the anime the book was slightly popping out of his bag.  

The storys finally starting.

During the night of a stormy weather there was an Elite NEET living on the top floor of a skyscraper reading mangas and novels and watching anime...  

A stroke of lightning hit the top floor and this NEET died a miserable yet Fascinating death...

Why miserable because the otaku had yet to finish the last page of his manga...

Why fascinating because he heard the sound that all NEET's strive for...

I go into the library making everyone quiet. All you can hear was my heels clicking on the floor board. I feel the presence of people staring at me and I hear slight whispers. I stop at the librarian and look at her straight in the eye. "I'm back for my book.. Ms. Ha" she glared at me without saying a word. "Awe! Come on Ms. Ha tell me where my book is! I am your favorite delusional girl after all!" I say with a smile. She'd roll her eyes and point to the very far bookshelf. "Thank you Ms. Ha! After all you are also my favorite mute." I'd walk in a normal pace towards the bookshelf till I hear a big slam behind me. I turn around seeing a boy that seemed to be about my age. He had a handsome look but with a frown. He slowly walk towards me ignoring his friends warnings. "May I help you sir?" I ask. "Do you treat your elders like that?! That is not lady like!" his reply was insulting to most girls but I didn't bother. "Sir. Whoever you are but a tip for you is to listen to your friends over there. After all I am the psycho of the school. But since your new I won't do anything to your young self." I'd turn back around and go towards the bookshelf. 
I once again hear whispers all around me. I turn around making everyone silent again. I spot a whiteboard in front of the library. I go toward the whiteboard grabbing a marker from the cup. 

'Whoever wants to talk to me. Talk to me don't be afraid of the psycho of the school. 
Also I hate all those whispering about me I love to be admired out loud'

I'd put down the marker and go back to the bookshelf. I go to the very back hoping that I'll find my book. I go through shelf to shelf trying to find this book. 
I was finally at the last shelf. I have my hopes up trying to search for my book. I look down crossing my fingers that this book would be found. I look carefully finally finding the book I needed. I reach for the book, but then I saw someone eyes through the shelf that frightened me. I scream from the surprise which also made the person jump as well. I grab the book and go behind the bookshelf seeing another boy. I'd groan "Is this another lecture for earlier because I had enough of people talking to me" the boy looked at me confused and just stood there "Okay if there is nothing to say I'm leaving." I turned to walk away before he grabbed my hand which startled me. "Whoa whoa! Hey touchy, personal space!" I tug my hand out of his grasp and started to walk away. "B-but that's my book." I heard him before I walked out of the door. "Excuse me?" I turn around seeing his eyes locked onto the book. "T-That's my book.." I'd look at him and point at the book. He would slowly nod his head. I clear my throat "Sir. But do you have the key to the book? I'll take that as a no cause nobody has the key. Am I right?" his face expression changed. "B-But still you're not allowed to take books from this section unless your the owner of the book." he look down unlocking his eye contact with the book. "Oh. Okay then.. Well I'll return it to its rightful owner. Me." I turn back around and head for the door till I hear someone else's voice. "Return the book it's not even yours anyways the book hasn't had an owner for about 2 years already." it's that boy again. I'd groan "Do you know how to mind your own business?" He'd look at me in disgust "Well.. You shouldn't be stealing!" Oh my god.. He still didn't get that I am the owner. "So you don't know who the owner is?", I look at the navy blue book with a gold lock. I grab the key from my pocket and I unlock the book with with the key. The lock would click when I turn the key."Do you understand now that you shouldn't be assuming random people for committing theft?" The boy looked at me with huge eyes "Y-You weren't kidding about you being the psycho of the school.." I look at him in disgust. "You didn't believe me?" I would scoff "You'll regret for confronting me little boy". I would turn around and walk out of the library. 
I go to the bleachers at the back of the school hoping nobody would find me. I open up the book seeing the first page gave me back memories. 
Seohyun's Diary 
I held the book tightly and slowly flipping the pages that tells the story of my life two years ago...

From what I experienced over the past week, and from the reading materials Amber gave me, it didn't seem like Badoth was in any way chaotic or disorderly. As a functioning and stable state, Badoth could have readily established neutral or friendly diplomatic relations with Kitrod. What caused these two kingdoms to go to war with each other? Why did nobody ever decide that 70 years was too long for a war?
The texts Amber gave me didn't talk much about the Demon King Badoth and the history of the kingdom he founded 70 years ago, so it was probably unlikely that I would ever find the answer to my questions unless I had the chance to talk to the king himself.
In any case, I have the demon language's alphabet drilled into my head now, so I should be able to read any text written with it. I wouldn't be able to understand what it meant, but I could always ask Amber to translate that for me.
"Are there any diviners or warlocks in town, Amber?"
"None. Why do you ask?"
"Well there aren't any herbalists or alchemists around, so the only thing I can learn here in Badoth is new magic. For that, I need someone capable of using advanced spells."
"Aren't you retired from that?"
"Just because I retired from being an adventurer doesn't mean I can't still be an archmage. I still feel an urge to learn new spells every now and then. Whether or not I can actually cast it is a different issue, though."
"So you want to learn useless knowledge."
"Hey, it's not entirely useless. Learning a new spell, regardless of whether or not it's usable, allows me to recognize when someone is about to cast that spell and properly assess how dangerous the situation is. Of course that scenario will probably never happen, but you never know what life might throw at you. Who knows, maybe someone might challenge me to a duel some day."
Amber gave a long sigh to my response.
"…You might want to try the library."
"Do they have spellbooks there?"
"I'm not sure. They might, though."
"Then please show me the way there."

The population of Sachiru was less than 20000, so there was only one moderate sized public library serving the entire town. It was located at the very center of town, a fifteen minute walk from the shop.
It was currently around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, so the streets of the market district were bustling with townsfolk trying to purchase the freshest food they could find for making dinner. As we left the market district, the bustling sight gradually faded away in favor of quiet residential areas. There were children playing around on the wide empty streets, occasionally stepping aside to avoid an oncoming carriage.
Looking at the children having fun on the streets, I couldn't help but reminisce a little about my childhood, when I could live every day without a single worry in the world. It was only unfortunate that those days couldn't last long…
"It's quite a relieving sight, don't you think, Blaze?"
"Hm?"
"We're so close to where the war takes place, but people are able to live on their daily lives normally."
"It's always good to have some optimism even in times of crisis, I guess…"
It's hard to ignore the atrocities of war, but if the people are still able to continue living their lives normally with optimism, the soldiers can at least etch in their minds the sight of the peace they're fighting to protect and fight on. It would have been pointless to go to battle for a group of unhappy people, after all.
We arrived at the library before long. At first glance, the library building looked no different from a stone fortress. On each side of the entrance was a statue of what looked like a goblin man sitting on a raised platform and reading a book. The fortress was minimally decorated, having only one single banner above the entrance, with a drawing of an open book painted onto it.
While a fortress shaped library building was great for asserting that "knowledge is power", I can't say I'm fond of the building design at all. With the exception of the ground floor that had none, the upper floors only had two small embrasures on each side of the building. The library's interior would no doubt have received very little natural lighting because of that.
"Is this… really a library?"
I couldn't help but wonder what I was looking at when I opened the door and went in. It was far different from what I had in mind. While there were several bookshelves in plain view, the interior gave off a wholly different vibe.
There was no natural lighting due to the lack of embrasures, and the ground floor was only dimly lit with faint red lights. Small reading desks with empty flasks on top were scattered throughout the floor, and there were numerous drapes hanging from the ceiling that one could pull to create an enclosed private space around each reading desk.
A very light flowery aroma was lingering in the air. It was hard to imagine anyone being able to read normally in this kind of environment. Better yet, how is it even possible to read anything under this dim lighting?
"Huh, they remodeled this place. It looked a lot brighter the last time I was here."
Seems like even Amber is surprised at this sight.
Out of curiosity, I moved towards the nearest bookshelf and grabbed a random book. Like with the rest of the books on the shelf, the book was unlabeled and had a solid color cover, so I had no idea what was even inside. After taking it out of the shelf, I quickly flipped through the pages to see if I could figure out what it was about. Apparently the dim lighting in this library was sufficient for reading. One would have to focus on a page to make out the details, though.
A brief glance at the contents soon made me realize the meaning behind the library's interior design, but to confirm my suspicions, I took another book out and flipped through it. As expected, this book was yet another provocative magazine full of lewd female pictures. Were it not for the red lighting here, one could probably see my face turn beet red.
In any case, this floor's ambient lighting and abundance of private space certainly was a great setting for those looking towards partially satisfying their sensual needs. I reckon the flask being there was to make sure the carpeted floor wouldn't be ruined.
"Oh, a living human? This is quite a surprise!"
Turning towards where the voice came from, I saw a curly haired short woman walking towards me. She wore very revealing tight clothes, which emphasized certain female parts of hers that already had an unnaturally large size. She had a small pair of wings on her back, and a slender long tail with a pointed tip, suggesting that she was a succubus.
"Welcome to Sachiru's one and only public library! I'm the librarian. Very curious to know what your tastes are like."
The succubus librarian had a somewhat devious smile as she said that.
"I don't think I have the time for that today…"
Succubi were a female-only race that needed to consume the bodily fluids of males to sustain themselves. Normally they would achieve this by giving men erotic dreams, so I found it quite abnormal to find a succubus stocking the library's ground floor with countless lewd magazines… Well, at least I know why there were flasks on the reading desks now.
"Is it even appropriate to arouse people here?"
"The orcs and goblins in this town keep flailing about dangerously in their sleep, so I had to find another place to do my work."
"Still, shouldn't a library be a place for learning, not for sexual pleasure?"
"The upper floors are normal!"
"Also, just curious, how long ago was the library remodeled?"
"About half a year."
If the library has been like this for half a year already, then I guess the authorities are fine with it. If anything, having a lewd collection of books here for everyone to access might even have a side effect of lowering the rate of sexual crimes in town. Not only that, the library would actually encourage more people to come in and read books… assuming the readers still had the energy and motivation to go upstairs.
"Well, since you're the librarian here, could I ask where I could find spellbooks?"
"Libraries don't usually carry those. You have to find a warlock or archmage for that. I think we have books that talk about magic, though."
"That's close enough. Could you tell me where I can find the magic books? Preferably ones written in the demon language."
"Let me check on that. Nobody ever reads books about magic in this town, so I never bothered remembering their location."
"I'll come find you in a few minutes, then. Thanks."
I kept watch of the succubus librarian as she walked away so that I would know where to find her later. Speaking of finding people, I wonder where Amber headed off to. She disappeared somewhere after commenting about how the library was remodeled earlier.
I walked around the ground floor in search of her and eventually found her sitting at one of the reading desks, looking attentively at a book with a plain blue cover and occasionally making sounds of surprise.
"So there are lewd magazines aimed at women here too, aren't there?"
"Seems like it."
"Are you enjoying that book?"
"Yes."
"Can I take a look at the types of men you're making sounds at?"
"This book doesn't have men in it."
Well, this is quite a shocker. If Amber wasn't looking at a book with lewd male pictures, then…
"Wait a minute… Does that mean you're into other women?"
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
Amber looked up at me with a confused look on her face.
"If you're not looking at a book with male pictures, then you're looking at one with female pictures, right?"
"There are other kinds of books on this floor, you know… And for the record, I prefer men."
"Oh… I'm sorry for misunderstanding…"
I really shouldn't have jumped to conclusions so quickly like that. It felt rather relieving that she didn't appear to be mad at me.
I walked over to Amber's side to take a look at the book she was reading. It was filled with pictures of what looked like fish.
"That isn't a book full of lewd fish pictures, is it?"
"Not everything on this floor is lewd, Blaze."
Come to think of it, that was probably a stupid question. What in the world would even count as a lewd fish picture?
"I want to see the ocean once in my life, but it's so far away, so the only way for me to learn about what it holds is through books like these."
"That's interesting. Can I read that when you're done?"
This continent was so large that most people have never been to the ocean because it would have taken an extremely long time to get to the coast. Stories of the majestic aquatic creatures that lived in the ocean occasionally got told and spread around by traveling merchants, but it was hard to take them seriously since word of mouth tends to get exaggerated after going through several people.
Nonetheless, I've never been to the ocean, so I know hardly anything about it. The fact that Amber was learning about the ocean through books piqued my interest.
"There are plenty of books like this one here. Look for a shelf with a missing book."
Before I knew it, I was taking out and flipping through the pages of random books about marine animals. I should probably borrow some of these to read at home later.
I couldn't help but feel like I was forgetting something, though…
As I was busy immersing myself in the illustrations of the mysterious creatures, I felt a sudden light tap on my shoulder. Standing behind me was the succubus librarian, with a slightly annoyed look on her face.
"You kept me waiting at the desk for so long!"
Right, that's what I was forgetting. I was supposed to come to her desk to know where those magic books were located.
"I'm sorry, I got too excited about all these animals I've never seen before…"
The librarian let out a soft sigh at my response.
"…Well, we only have a few books about magic since the demand for those is low. You can find all of them on the shelf labeled 'M' on the third floor."
"Thank you. And sorry for making you wait like that…"
Amber still seemed to be busy reading her book, so I think I'll just go upstairs by myself. If I find any interesting books, I could bring it downstairs for her to translate.
Contrary to my expectations and to its downstairs counterpart, the upper two floors of the library were actually very brightly lit. I don't even know how that was physically possible, since the embrasures on the wall were relatively small. Tiny windows like these shouldn't be able to let so much light through.
There were long reading desks lined up in an open space along the floor, with chalkboards placed by the end of each desk. There were scribbles and formulas written all over the boards, making these floors actually feel like a place where people would come to study or research and hold scholarly discussions with their peers. Too bad it was empty at this hour… and most other hours for that matter.
Now then, time to look for a shelf labeled "M"...

Some say that being an adventurer doing quests for a living was a wonderful job because of the freedom and exploration that comes with the job.

Unfortunately, that kind of life wasn't suited for everyone. A mage who found the life of an adventurer too difficult decides to retire and operate an alchemy store instead.

He gains a bit of fame from running one of very few alchemy stores in the world, but things don't go too smoothly for him, as he is once again forced to go on adventures...

"Aaah", I woke up to a sharp pain in my head. I was in the bed and was in a quite familiar room, my head and my arms were covered in white bandage. Suddenly I heard a "Meow?". It was frost, it excitedly climbed on top of me and sat on my lap. "Hey Frost" I spoke quite weakly and with a much deeper voice than I had before, Frost rolled on my lap as I took a looked around. I was at my grandmothers house. I had so many questions going through my head, remembering my father caused me to become emotional. I was there for a while until my mind stabilized.
I was sure I was not unconscious for just a day, traveling all the way from home to my grandma's house along with Frost and my belongings would take 3-4 days give or take, but how long was I exactly out for? What happened? Why are we here? Where is mom? These questions plaguing my mind I could not rest anymore. I had to get out of bed and find someone to talk to.
I lifted Frost and put him beside me, to my surprise he felt as heavy as a bowling ball. I tried to get up on my feet, but as soon as I stood up my legs started wobbling and fell back on my bed. I tried to call someone but to no avail. Frost seemingly understood what I was trying to do and stepped out of the door heading downstairs. With the help of Frost's annoying calls my mother stepped into the room.
As soon as she saw me she hugged me with little tears around her eyes "You scared me Dave" She told him hugging me tighter. As I looked at her, she looked a lot older and a bit thinner. I wanted to ask her about what happened, but I was interrupted by my grandparents. Mary Dunkeld my grandmother she has the same red hair like my mother, she works as a nurse, she is really kind and sweet women. My grandfather is Adolf Dunkeld he is a retired army man, he has a weird way of showing his love but he is a great person. My grandmother spoke to me while handing me some water "Thank god your awake do know you gave me and your mother a scare". "I am sorry" I said weakly.
I slowly drank some water to regain my energy. My grandfather Adolf Dunkeld stepped into the room looked at me as he spoke "Are you fine?" without waiting for a reply he proceed to sit in his arm chair across me. I answered "Yes I am fine".
After a few minutes of my grandmother checking if I was good. My grandmother and mother sat on either side of the bed, Frost too made himself comfortable on my lap. My grandfather still in his arm chair with his hands clasped together.
I knew I need to know what happened, Why are we here? How long? How bad is the situation now?
So I asked "What happened? Why are we here?".
The mood darkened a bit, they were emotional but not crying, I knew at moment that while I was taking my little nap they were the one's who had to suffer.
"Do you want me to tell him?" asked my grandmother. "No I will tell him mom" said my mother. "Son, I know you loved your father very much, I know it must be hard for you to take it. It is hard for me too, just know this we are going to get through this together." As she finished she held my hand. I was filled with emotion, I had to get this off my chest, I had to cry, I had to shout, I needed to scream.
But.. in the time I was unconscious I knew I had to face reality. I nodded as I held my mothers hand, holding my self together I said "I understand". My mother was the one to deal with me and deal with my father's death. I could not support her then, I cannot imagine how much she had to go through, now it is my turn to support her. I kept holding my mothers hand for a while looking down at my sheets hiding my emotions.
Then I asked "Why are we here mom?". At this point my mother hesitated to speak and looked sad. My grandfather chimed in "Because you are homeless boy". "What are you telling the kid, Adolf "said my grandmother. "What?" I was confused. "The truth Mary, what were you going to say, that a UFO came down and swooped down took away their house." said my grandfather. My grandmother became silent and glared at my grandfather. He continued "That secret society where your father worked took away your home and kicked your mother out."
'This was absolute bulls*it, first they frame my father for something he did or did not do, next he dies on their watch, now they take away our house. really?!'
I felt my mother's hand loosen its grip around my hand, so I grip it a little harder. I looked at her she was looking at me with a tear and a smile. I was angry on myself 'How could I rest while she had to go through adversity on her own just to keep me safe, if only I was stronger, if only I wasn't so pathetically weak'.
After a moment of silence. Mary spoke " You don't have to worry about any of that now, we are here for you, once you are all better we can check out the schools around here and live a happy and normal life."
"What do you mean?" I asked. "Now you don't tell me that you want to go back on being a magician, just think about you and your mother" she said.
Now I was worried, I had only talked about growing stronger and take care of my mother, while if I could go to a normal school then my mother would not be exposed to harms way. But if I choose the second option forget my dream I would really completely lose my father along with all my memories of him.
That moment I had already made my choice, I wanted to live for what I had left in my life, I could not put my mother in harms way.
But I said "I need some time to think about it." My grandmother smiled and said "Ok then take your time, and I need you to get ready for dinner, you need some food to recover faster." My mother and grandmother stood up as they slowly walked to the door and down the stairs. My grandfather sat there for a while, then he stood up looked at me for a moment and walked out of the door.
After a while I set Frost by my side, and with a little support of the bedroom furniture. I made my way downstairs to the dining room. After a short prayer we started eating food. Once we were done I asked my grandmother where my clothes were as I wanted to take a bath. She pointed me towards a trunk, I walked towards the trunk to pick my clothes.
As I opened the trunk I saw a book, it was a black book, this was the book my father wrote to help me prepare for Hogwarts, I had to check the book, as I opened the book I found my admission letter to Hogwarts on the first page, I started flipping the pages to find something useful. I hear my grandmother "Did you find your clothes?". I was alerted I quickly tucked the book into my shirt and grabbed a couple of night clothes to wear and replied "Yes". I quickly made my way up the stairs to the bedroom.
I quickly hid the book in the pillow cover, took my clothes as I went to take a bath. I needed to see what my father wanted me to know as I was leaving to Hogwarts. I needed to know the reason why we are homeless and why I am a 11 year old without a father. My father was still writing the book before he died, I needed some clue just something that helps me understand what happened.
With these thoughts running in my mind I went to the bathroom to take a bath. I filled my tub with warm water. As I finished my bath, I looked at my self in the mirror. My skin was much better it changed from pale to a healthy color. But the backlash made me a little bit skinny and frail but with a bit of time I am sure it will be fine. I put on my night clothes, I was tucked into bed by my mother.
I lay in bed for at least an hour, then I opened the cabinet beside me, took a flashlight from inside, draped the covers over me, pulled the book out from the pillow cover. I started flipping the pages to find anything my father left me that might be helpful in uncovering what happened to us.
I spent 30 minutes flipping the pages still having nothing to find. I then tried to find what was his last account in the book. The last page contained the words 'Son, the spell of converting objects to runes is a spell created by the Morton family, secrets hidden in runes cannot be retrieved by other people without harming the object.'
Another dead end. I still could not find anything, I was starting to lose hope. I was fed up and angry I needed a break. I closed the book and lay back.
'I need to forget about this, having this false hope does not bring me anything, I need to put this book back in the trunk.'
As I thought that, I saw the back cover of the book, it had a rune on the back, it was shaped like a compass it was light blue in color. As I saw it, I was excited, it is a rune that can be opened? I put my finger on the rune and started tracing it. As soon as I finished I chanted "Objectify".
As I finished I felt a sharp pain in my head, it might be the effect of overusing magic. In my hands lay a large leather book with a leather strap tied across the book. The cover of the book contained the same compass as the rune.
I slowly unstrapped the book, the first page contained the initials "RM". I was happy and somewhat relieved, as I turned the pages of the book I understood that it was a diary belonging to my father.  He began writing this diary the day I was born, I started to get to the final account it was written exactly the day before he passed away.

I have come to my wits end, I had no choice, I could not back away from the deal, I had to make a choice between not going to prison for someone else and have no family or going to prison and have someone to still call family. They made me a deal that during my stay in Azkaban they would post my money to my house and my son and wife would be fine. She pinched my cheek before I could come to sense.
She didn't wait for me to respond and directly pulled me towards the mansion by holding my wrist and went inside. The people who were waiting outside the mansion, greeted us as ' Madam and young master' and followed us inside the mansion.
Each of them went in different direction and only one man followed us.
She took me to a room which was neatly decorated with many postures. The boy in the posture looked a lot like me.
I sat down on the bed as she instructed and waited for her explanation.
For some unknown reason, I wanted to be near her. I wanted to feel the warmth of a mother. When she called me her son, I was so happy that I actually forgot that I was kidnapped.
I looked at her as she sat next to me.
Her smile melted my icy heart. She reminded me of my mother so much that I wanted to kidnap her and lock her in a room, so that she doesn't disappear like my adopted mother.
(Irene) "Do you remember your adopted mother?"
The question she asked, gave rise to my hope.
I nodded slightly.
She smiled even brightly and gave me a soft hug.
(Irene) "I am your adopted mother. I died in your world and came back to my world."

I  tilted my head and looked at her confusingly.
She immediately freed me from her grasp and looked at the man standing next to her. He took a book from the drawer next to the bed, where a dolphin shaped lamp was placed and gave it to her.
(Irene) "Here.... take this. This book will give answer to half of your questions."
I took the book from her hand and read title of the book.
(Jude) "'The twisted fate of Hero and Villain'....."
I paused reading and looked at her.
She nodded her head and asked me to continue reading.
I slowly read the context of the book without making any noise.
The book seemed like a novel. It had two main characters. One was the hero of the book and the other was the villain of the book.
The hero character in the novel reminded me of my enemy, who always takes everything away from me. He is the only person whom I hate to death.
Whereas the villain character in the novel reminded me of myself. The character setting, the past and the chapter where the villain died, it seemed too familiar.
After reading the book, I looked at mom, who was silently watching me.
(Irene) " You came from this novel."
(Jude) "What???"
[ What is she talking about?? How can a person from a novel come alive?? ]
I looked at her as though she had lost her mind.
She looked at me and laughed so much that she had a stomach ache.
(Irene) " Ah...my stomach....(after 5 minutes)

Well.... do you want me to explain to you in detail??"

(Jude) "I want you to tell me even the smallest detail about what happened, I.....I want to know everything"

(Irene) "I had a car accident 12 years ago and I was in coma. After that accident when I opened my eyes, I saw a baby lying beside me with all the necessities necessary for the growth of the child as well as a handbag full of money.
I was shocked for a second. I couldn't match the events happened. But that didn't restrict me from moving forward. I picked up the baby and walked for a long time. Finally I found a small village.
I went there and asked for their help. At first they were not willing to help me. But later on, when I gave them enough money, they were not only willing to help, they also decided to give their furnished house to me.
I gave a nice bath to the child, fed the child and made him lie-down on the bed. I sat beside him and started to rearrange the events that had happened till now.
But I couldn't find anything, so decided to take care of the child until I found his real parents.
3 years passed by and I still couldn't find his real parents. But I never knew that searching for his parents through advertising in the newspaper was a bad idea, until I found people following me.
I silently moved as fast as I could and escaped from their sight.
I was trained to swiftly move fast when I was a kid, for emergency purpose.

Half way while talking about her past, she raised a question suddenly.
I was dumbfounded to hear a question out of blue, but still gave her an answer in a low voice.
(Jude) "Hmm.."
She continued to tell about her past, in a mysterious tone, which kept me interested in learning about her.
(Irene) " Ok ....let me continue.....
I eavesdropped their talk and found that the child was the second heir of a dangerous mafia group. They found the real heir who was lost since birth and decided to kill the second heir when the time comes. But the maid working for the mafia group escaped with the second heir and she was never found.
When they saw the picture of the child, they decided to kill him, without giving a second thought.
After knowing about the child's background, I didn't want to get involved with him. But I didn't want him to die. He was nothing but a small child who didn't know about himself.
I hid myself from their eyes for another 3 years. They were quite powerful. Even after changing the place and deleting the CCTV footage with the help of a hacker, they still found me.
When I saw them coming inside the house, I threw him in the underground secret passage, built for emergency purpose and locked the door while telling him to keep quite for a while, until I return.
I was beaten badly by 2 men and the other 3 men searched the place. When they couldn't find you, I laughed at them and said that I abandoned the child in front of an orphanage.
When they knew that they were fooled, they hit me even hard and left me half-dead.
After that I felt dizzy and closed my eyes slowly while hoping that someone could come and save the child.
When I opened my eyes again, I was in the hospital.
I saw my parents standing beside me an crying.
I felt that the dream was too realistic.
The days with him were too realistic to take it as a dream. 
The thought of leaving him made my heart beat faster than the time I fell in love. It was beating crazily. Even-though I had explained that I was his not his real parents and promised to find his parents, I was the only person whim he could rely on.
I told my parent about the odd realistic dream I had. They thought that I was bluffing and asked me to rest well instead of wasting my time thinking about useless dream.
But I was not convinced. I asked my butler to find a boy and gave him few hints as to how the boy would look. He called artist and described the features of the boy.
The artist drew the image which satisfied me.
The butler used all his connections to find the whereabouts of the child, but everything went in vain. 
When I was about to give up, my friend said that the characteristic I said matched with the villain character of a novel. She asked me if I was playing around with her, joking and telling that I transmigrated into the book.

I heard many novels about transmigration, but I never thought that I will have this experience.
After reading the content of the novel, I was sure that the villain character mentioned in the novel was the child I raised.
I immediately called the novelist and asked him to put the child as a sub-villain and kill him in the middle of the plot.

I keep calling the villain of the book as 'child' or 'he' and not as 'you' because you were never the villain of the book. That character died long ago, when you came to this world.

So from now on you will get a new identity and live a new life with me, your mom."
My eyes teared up. I hugged her and cried for the first time in my life, after I witnessed her death inside the novel.

When it comes to mana power, the difference of 1 or 50 mana power doesn't make a huge difference but even a mana power of 1000 may make a huge difference. If you have wits and strategy, you maybe able to defeat a higher level mana power. But looking at a difference of almost 23,000 between me and him...That's kind of nuts how powerful this man is...I wonder...What's Ilora's mana power...

Talking about a such huge difference, I will never be able to catch up to him as of right now but if I do things correctly in the next 3 months, then yes! I will be able to play the catch up game. Matter of fact, I will start playing the catch up game starting today! I get off my bed and head to the academy's library.

No time to rest when our dreams depend on one tournament, first thing is first, I need to find something on creation magic. The library of the wise and knowledged is a place here in the town of Vesta. This is the biggest library in all of Regina. No one has ever seen a library with over 100 million books and no one knows what all of the books within the library represent. The only thing people know is, you demand a book and the library gives it to you and then you have to either pay for that book or return it in 7 days.

We walk a few miles and reach the biggest library in all Regina. It's so huge...This building...No wonder there are so many books here. "There's your library." Jian says pointing at a grandma at a vendor store. "Huh? What?" Wait a minute... "Is this some kind of joke, Mr. Xong? Because it isn't making me laugh." I say. "I am dead serious kid, walk up to that old woman and ask her for a book you want." Jian says. "Alright...If you say so..." I say. I begin walking towards the old lady in the vendor shop.

"Ah! A strong one with a righteous heart. He doesn't know about it yet." The old woman says. "What a great potential." She says to me. "Huh? What?" I ask. "Nothing, may I ask your order?" The old lady asks. "Is there a way to cultivate creation magic? I would like a book on that." The woman smiles. "You can have all of the creation magic books for free." The old lady says with a cheerful smile. "HUUUUUH?!" Not only my but Jian's jaw drops as well. "They are useless and no one buys them." She says. "It's better, I give it to you for free as I have no use of them." She continues. "Can I ask how many of them are there?" I ask. She smiles, "Only 1" She says. "What? Why were you referring to a single book as books then?" I ask. "Because you asked for books." She smiles as she answers. Did I? The old lady swipes her hand and a book with white aura around it appears. "That's your book, take it." The old lady says. "Thank you, old lady." I say. "Call me Mary." The old lady says to me. "Alright...I guess, old lady Mary..." I say to her. She smiles again. I walk back to Jian with the book. "It's a surprise you got it for free." Jian says. "Yeah..." I say.

With this my training begins! I didn't know about this but...The book had so many tricks and tips up it's sleeve then I could have imagined. Plus, I didn't need a training ground through this book to cultivate the magic. So, I just used the space at the side of our dorm to cultivate my magic. In just 4 days, my mana sky rocketed to almost 10,000...Not only that, In just a week, I was able to create more then multiple things at the same time without exhausting my mana. 

Cyan is passing by with her friends. "His training..." Cyan says looking at me. I can hear it...What? "Yeah...Unbelievable...He thinks Rizing can be on the top." I can hear them...How? This isn't creation magic...Don't tell me...My senses have also increased along with my magic...This book...It's unbelievable...

Cyan smiles, "Don't underestimate him, his a reckless fool who can get you in a bad shape." She says as she leaves. I smile. "THIS BOOK IS AWESOME!!!" 3 months...Just 3 months remain...I will definitely beat you...Hayden Rider...That is for sure and this time...I will make sure you don't looks down on people for who they are.

I woke up; feeling mum screaming at me to wake up. After getting fresh I went downstairs for breakfast. I saw mum serving food for my brother and father and she gestured me to sit. I was holding a book in my hand, which I wanted to complete today.

I sat on chair and then kept a bookmark in the book, so that later I won't have problem finding the page where I left. Then I kept the book on the table and was about to eat my breakfast.

"Dear, at least for now; find some internship and keep those books aside. You need to find a job." I heard dad say and my gaze went to him, he was fully focused in the newspaper headlines.

"Sure dad." I said almost with no feeling and a forced smile; looking all cheerful, one fake smile is enough to make others believe that you're okay.

"What are you going to do today?" dad asked

"I'll be going for an internship today." I replied.

"That's good then. I hope you get a job after your graduation." Dad said and smiled at me. I completed my breakfast and took my book and kept it inside my bag.

I took my bag and headed out of my house and bid a farewell, "I'm going." A lot of thoughts started coming into my mind while walking. 

I always wanted to tell them that I don't want to do what they want. I want to do what I want and I have a dream. I want to live my dream not their. Someone told me once "Don't be trapped in someone else's dream" and I want to live my dream for my happiness. Sometime being selfish is better than losing everything including your happiness and regretting.

 While walking suddenly a figure caught my eye; I saw her face. She was wearing a white dress and she looked like she is either lost or finding something. And after looking at her; I again started walking towards my destiny.

I opened the door, "Hey Min. Welcome to work." I love books; frankly if I could then I would love to spend my whole life with books. Being with them gives me happiness. I work as a part timer in bookstore. I did lie to my parents about internships.

I saw my co-worker smiling at me. He was Gguk. He was calm guy. I went to him and smiled. He's really a good guy and both of us share the same dream. We are University mates; with him I share nearly everything.

I started arranging some books. I kept them on their places and sometimes some books caught my attention and I used to stare at those books. 

Sometimes I just wish,only if I could live in the world of books then I would have brought a library under my name and definitely a music studio. I would love to spend my time with books and music. Reality hit me when a book dropped from upper self on me. and while keeping that book. A book caught my attention; so I kept that book and took out the new book "Let It Snow" which I left in middle once and then someone took it and again returned it.

Right now, continuing that book seemed as the best thing so I started reading. After sometime I saw the time; I kept it hurriedly and started to work again. I kept a bookmark on the page where I left. Arranging the books are best. It feels so good. Literally so good

I went back to the counter and while staring at the door; it opened and revealed a girl; the girl whom I saw on streets. She looked at me and we had a short eye contact. I saw her staring at the books and going from one self to the other self. And then I saw; she took out a book. She was reading and smiling and I also smiled at that thought that she must be enjoying that book. But then my eyes landed on the book and I figured out that; the book she was holding was the one which I left. I again smiled; unknowingly. I saw her reading and I resumed my work. But I felt nervous; all of a sudden. I just hope that she doesn't buy this; I haven't completed this book yet.

She walked to me and she was holding my bookmark.

"May I know whose bookmark is this? It was inside this book. And it's written that 'I LOVE BOOKS NO MATTER HOW THEY ARE, LET'S TRUST THEM AND FIND OUR THE DESTINY; OUT OF THEM.'" I quickly bowed her and said "I'm sorry. It's my bookmark." And I looked at her, she was smiling sweetly.

'Everytime she smiles; it makes my heart beat fast.
Unknowingly she was special for me.'

"Do you want to buy it?" I asked her still feeling nervous because I wanted to complete that book but if she says she will buy; then I'll definitely give it to her.

"It's a bit costly." She kept that book on my desk and before leaving she smiled at me. She left with her pretty smile. Soon after she left I went to keep that book in its place; keeping that bookmark in it.

While keeping "Let it Snow" I thought about that girl; she was definitely the one whom I saw in the morning while coming here. I wonder how she is and hope she will find her destiny soon.

I shrugged her thoughts off my mind and kept"Let It Snow" where it was; I went back to my counter and resumed my work. 

After some time, customers started coming and I became busy and didn't get chance to think about that girl again.

My shift was over by now. The door opened and I stepped out of the bookstore. "Goodbye Min. Have a nice day ahead" I heard Gguk said and I smiled at him and left. I looked at the streets and it was raining.

"It usually rains here? I was caught up in rain yesterday too." I heard a voice.

"I hope I can be with you for just one day."	

It's a story of a boy and how he met a girl for the first time and wanted to spend the first and last day with her. Something was there between... them. They had somewhat similar story; they shared the same taste in books, music. Even though they met for the first time and the feelings were new to them yet they felt each other very comfortable.
After they spend their first and last day... will they meet ever again? Or their fate has decided something else?
