Astharos was one of the chosen to play the beta of the game know as 'Fantasy'. He had played the Shadow Era for around a year, but he completely forget it in the only week that the beta of Fantasy was online. Not only him, but every player chosed to play the beta described it the same way:

"Hola you awake?" a bright glow blinded him as he blinked several times to adjust his eyes. -'Where the f*ck am I ?'- he thought as he stood there dazed at the bright glow.

 "Hey its impolite to ignore your one and only savior!" a voiced echoed around him.  
"Ok let's keep this short and sweet, you died full of vengeance and blah blah blah so I'm going to revive you so pick. Fantasy with magic, Demon Lord and swords ° or ° Wuxia world with cultivation, and arragont as*holes. Pick." 

After retracing his steps from killing himself to now, many question surfaced his mind "Who the f*ck are you? Where am the f*ck am I?And why the f*ck did you have to 'revive' me when I wanted to die?" 

after hearing him speak out all his questions the only  response was "You done now?" before getting to say yes, the glow began talking.
" 1 I'm Whoerver the f*ck I want to be
   2 you are in the astral planes, or to be more simple the place where souls go
   3 I revived you because your soul was full of impurities that even demons dont have that much so I decided to give you a new life to help dwindle the amount of impurities you have." after thinking he finnaly responded with "what were the two choices again?" 
the glow,  surprised of how fast he composed himself
" Fantasy world with magic, sword , and DemonLords ° or ° Wuxia world with cultivation and arrogant as*holes." The glow  repeated. -'so like those online novels I always read..'- he thought. 
"Hey one question, do I get those system things like in other novels?" he thought as he remembered a particular novel genre. "Hmm? Sure if you want." the glow replied nonchalantly. After a breif silence
 " I'll chose Wuxia world " he said outloud after confirming with himself. "Alright, before I send you off I'll tell you some things. The person you hate most will also be reincarnated but in different places."

 As soon as he heard that his eyes grew cold and sharp. Seemingly enjoying it he added " you can kill him if you want but I'll advise you to get stronger first. Now make a choice, I'll give you a cultivation manual that suits you but its 5x harder to train in or a manual you pick yourself so chose." after breathing a few deep breaths he asked 
                 " 1 is the one you picked the for 
                      me stronger than the other
                      manuals?
                   2 You said he reincarnated 
                      so will that mean he will also
                      possess a cultivation manual
                      given by you?
                    3 will I still be able to receive
                       the system I asked?"
The glow listened patiently before saying 
" Yes, Yes and Yes. anymore questions?" 
the glow cut him off saying " good, hope to see you again, Bye!" Everything got dark, he was wondering how he was going to get out of here when a light was in front of him  coming towards him.

Chapter 2. Back to the starting line (2)

Light novels in this world are quite similar to his previous world.

There were many similar genres like isekai, battle academy and mechs but the story in this world make more sense.

Light novels in his previous world often has plot holes but in this world, the plot holes are minimum.

But the overall quality of light novels are still less when compared to his world.

Most of the stories are of the harem and fantasy genre but there were not many novels he liked.

Rei was looking for a classic novel like «Sword art online» or «Konosuba» but there weren't many classics.

Although he found some good novels, they weren't able to captivate him like the light novels from his world.

As he was not finding any good novels, he started searching information about the publishing houses in Sakura island.

He found out that there are three major publishing houses in regards to light novels. 

The first was <Syotsu publishing>, it was a famous publishing house and has quite a reputation in the industry.

It also has produced many works and many promising authors wanted their books to publish in this company.

The second was the <GM publishers>, it was a publishing house which had grown in the last few years. 

It has published some bestselling novels which also had gotten adapted to animes.

The third was the <Shino medias>, it was a newly established publishing house which was just started 2 years ago but it had produced some good works.

It's best novel has been the «Mech contractors», a story about a 15 year old mechanic who got transported in the future.

The novel has been made into a manga and a anime series has also been announced.

That was the information Rei was able to find about the publishing houses and the novels.

He also noted down some information about the top literature books and some light novels, he will buy when he got his pocket money.

After doing that, he noticed that the day had already ended.

After eating dinner, he moved to his bed to sleep but he wasn't able to sleep.

It was a daily occurrence, Rei wasn't able to sleep properly as he was afraid that when he wake up tomorrow, he will be in his own world.

That was Rei's fear as he didn't wanted to go to his old life.

He started thinking about different things to stop him from sleeping but he wasn't able to stop himself from sleeping.

Like that, several days pass away. It was the start of his vacation, so there was no school. 

Rei was able to laze around everyday and think about his future.

He will sometimes read books he had bought from his savings and contemplate if he wanted to take the same path or not.

Rei knew he wanted to be a writer but he was too fearful to do it, he was scared of failure.

At one side he wanted to be a writer but the other side was telling him to be a star.

The previous host dreams and desires were still with Rei and he can't do anything about it.

There was a war going on in his insides. 

Rei started to notice that he would subconsciously always pick up a pen. His instincts were telling him to write but he didn't knew what to write.

"Ah, let's take the chance"

Finally, after struggling with it for some days, he finally made up his resolve to write.

He didn't knew if he will succeed or not but he will accept any result.

It was his second chance, he didn't wanted to waste it away.

As for becoming a star, he decided to take it one by one.

Now, the question was to what to write, Rei had several stories in his head but he didn't knew which to choose.

He also didn't knew if he will able to write like before. Because of alcohol and drugs, his writing had degraded and he wasn't sure if he will able to write like before.

That's why he decided to write famous novels to make his writing better.

Rei didn't get any cheat from his reincarnation but he did get something.

It was his mind, which was changed to become something like a memory chip.

Rei can literally remember everything that had happened in his previous life.

Not in brief but in full detail. If he tried to remember a book, he will able to recall all the lines of the book in a serial order. He was even able to tell where the commas would be.

He can recall every book, movie or song he had read or seen in full detail.

It was like his brain was a computer.

That's why Rei was able to easily copy the famous novels he had read in his previous life.

He started copying novels like «Harry Potter and the philosopher stone» and «Your name».

That's how he spent his remaining vacation. Copying works from his world and and writing his novel alongside it.

It was tiring to write everyday but he got used to it and the main reason he was doing it was because he was enjoying it.

He didn't have many friends, so he spent his vacation in his room only occasionally going out for his meals.

Although his parents were worried about him, he didn't care as he was really enjoying it.

He poured every bit of frustration he had with his life in his original work.

And after writing and revising for a whole month, his first book was finally completed.

1. JinxXaphyre. Love the story and look forward to every chapter, always hoping for a mass release lol. my question is, why a fox? 
Thanks! And at the time, I had stumbled upon a translated novel about a fox consort which had around ten chapters, but in those ten a love triangle was already being introduced, and I was quite unhappy with that development. Thus, I picked the idea of a girl turned into a fox, chose a baby fennec as her form since they're just the cutest, and here we are ^^

2. Andrwood. I will not ask the original question. Why did you start writing a novel? What about other novels? You will write something after the end of this story. 
The answer to the first question is really simple - I LOVE writing. I started writing when I was around ten. First it was in my notebooks, then I stopped around the end of middle school, then began again at the end of high school but this time online, then stopped again, then restarted it with Fox Life. It's a long story, lol, and one wrought with trouble. 
I have two other novels online under another name - DarkSun in rrl. Flight of Icarus is my self-proclaimed masterpiece, Dream Chaser had a good premise, while Stories of the Wide World is just oneshots I wrote at some point in time. What concerns future, I will certainly be writing something, but as to what, who knows. I have ideas for various different stories - some of them deal with Virtual Reality, some with witches, some with surviving in an apocalypse, and some more cliche and simple ones like a contractual marriage or finding a stray cat who turns out to be a shapeshifter. Or maybe even something else. It all depends on what I'll be interested in the most once I finish Fox Life xD

3. Deviii. I want to ask if you will ever explain the reason, in the coming chapters that what exactly was the reason of her turning into a fox.. as in a hypothesis about it? 
I can't say it here, but yes, it will be explained. This is what the next arc will be all about. 

4. MilkOfCow. Easily my favorite book on the app - I was curious what kind of prewriting do you use? 
Thanks, and haha… I'm not really good with this stage of novel writing. I started Fox Life on a whim, truth be told. Some twenty chapters in, however, I realized that it couldn't work like that and made an outline. Some fifty chapters later, I decided I didn't like it much and stopped following every detail of it. Currently, I have an idea for an overarching plot, like currently it's Gale and Elise's mini-arc while the major arc is still Dioscuri being in trouble which started some time ago. Besides that, I'm writing chapters on a day-to-day basis, thinking up an idea for the next day before going to sleep and writing it down in the morning before I need to leave for classes.

Hey! And as I mentioned before, part of it was me not being happy how almost every romance novel contained a love triangle while the other half was just me trying to test myself. I've never tried writing a romance before, and I wanted to see how it goes. To not make it too hard on myself, I chose a comparably simple setting of a rich CEO and an easy-going girl of common lineage, but since I'm addicted to fantasy, I just had to spice it up somehow. And that's how Iris ended up as a fox. 
Oh! I might as well mention a random tidbit. I once had a cat, and its name was Iris. She was a really smart little devil.

I have insufficient common sense, crappy knowledge of the world around me, un-athletic, lazy, tends to avoid people, likes to be alone, likes to only read about supernatural fantasy novels just like now in my small rented apartment room. 

I am reading a novel about a person who died and was reincarnated into a fantasy world with cheat type powers. The story goes on how he with great effort saved the suffering people with his past life knowledge and new found powers, made a harem and eventually defeats the evil God who was making the world suffer. How I wish I was him. There are days when I am crossing the road when going to work that I think about the famous truck of reincarnation in novels which kills me and sends my soul to a parallel world with cheat type powers just like the novel I read. I threw the book away and rested on the bed thinking. Even though I wish to get reincarnated I actually don't want to. There are many reasons for this. First although I am not afraid to die, I don't like to feel pain. I am actually interested in life after death but suffering unbearable pain is not on my list and if I had to die I wish I could die painlessly. What kind of a reincarnated protagonist is afraid to get hurt. Secondly if I die what about my family, I can't bear to imagine their faces at that time. Third even if I reincarnate, I am not the type that puts much effort into anything I do. Even if I do something I would eventually get bored of it. A similar thing happened before. I wanted to make an PC game from scratch. I already planned the gameplay and it's plot in my mind. So I started learning programing and due to the effort I put in at first, I was actually not quite bad. But not even mid way had I reached while studying, I just gave up when I faced some obstacles.

Today was a no work day and I had not taken a step outside my room, not even to eat something as I think that I can survive without food for one day. I only go out if it is to work or to meet my family or if it is unavoidable like to eat when feeling starved. Reading about the impossible was the one thing I never gave up on. But I cannot make a living out of that. From childhood I wanted to become the impossible. I had never told anyone except the rare few people who I knew would not laugh at me if they heard this. I did not want to become a superhero, I wanted to become free from everything and I believed that only absolute power can really do that. When I think about subjects like magic I feel incredible. I was so entrapped by the supernatural that sometimes when I was alone I would try to meditate and try to attain mana, ki or enlightenment but to no avail as after I close my eyes I don't know what else to do. "Clear my mind!?" was what most of the instructions online said. But what does that even mean. I tried not to think about anything and I did. Guess what? There was nothing there was no ki, mana or enlightenment, absolutely NOTHING. I also tried to practice telekinesis by making an object fall into my hands by concentrating on it but the only thing I caught was a headache. Thinking about it doesn't help so I closed my eyes and fell asleep. My uneventful life went on and I was only able to dream about my desires.

An average man named "Lyle" who does not have any special qualities. He searches for his impossible desires. The fantasies which he belives exists somewhere hidden from him.

A story of a lazy man who loves to read novels about the supernatural. He did not believe that these things did not exist. He refused to accept it. He had nothing but questions like "How to use real magic? How can I sense ki? What is outside this world? Do legends speak the full truth? Is science and technology the only way to go forward?....". He lives an average life and acts normally but wishes to find the answers but knows that he is extremely limited in what he can do to find them.

For years he lived his life thinking he will never find them but still he never gave upon these thoughts because it was the one thing that made him feel like he was living. Finally he stumbles upon a thought which led to more questions and among which finally an answer.

That was his starting point and he swore that even if he dies he will unravel his questions and the endlessness around him.

Chapter 217. Training start 
"You are sure you would be safe?"
White bear asked Ren as they entered the outer courtyard of the dojo.
Today was Ren's first lesson here and he was feeling somewhat sleepy as it was just 5 in the morning.
He had an interview with a newspaper today and thinking about his work, it was decided that he would learn swordsmanship in the morning.
"I will be safe. Why do you think I won't be safe?"
"No, it's just a feeling. My intuition is saying something is wrong."
White bear said as he shook his head. Ren became wary when he heard that.
There was a scary aspect to White bear. It was just his intuition. Ren has noticed that he's intuition will be on the mark 9 out of 10 times.
Ren can just hope that he would be wrong this time!
"Hey, that's him, right?"
"Yeah, he looks the same as him but why will a celebrity be here?"
"Yes, I can be wrong but ain't that fat man with him, his manager, I think I saw him on that reality show."
"Should I go talk to him to find out?"
Ren and White bear can both hear murmuring from their surroundings. It was the disciples of the dojo.
They were surprised seeing Ren here. He was also not wearing any kind of disguise, so it was very easy for the disciples to recognise him.
But they won't dare to approach him. It was because the instructors would scold them and give them a beating, telling them to focus on their training.
The way of the sword was a dojo which was really harsh on their disciples.
"I think you should have worn a mask at least?"
"I wanted to but that old man told me that it would be okay and I wasn't able to object."
"But what if the media gathered here?"
Celebrities are objects which naturally attract media attention. If the media knew that Ren was training in a dojo, then they will surely gather here.
They would want to know the reason behind it and everything else.
"I don't think it's easy to enter here."
If the media really managed to get here, then the instructors would be enough to scare them away.
Ren has noticed one peculiar thing about this dojo, most of the instructors of this dojo were scary and burly men. Anyone can get easily scared by them.
"By the way, where were you yesterday?"
"Oh, that, I was.…"
When Ren asked that, White bear expression became strange. He fidgeted with his fingers as he thought of an excuse.
But at that moment, someone interrupted them.

"I think everyone is talkative in this line as we have to meet different people everyday. Directors, producers, actors, actresses."
"You said you meet actresses?"
Xian Ju suddenly asked, showing interest in this topic.
"Yes, I have met many actresses as Ren has worked with many different actresses. There are some actresses in the agency too."
"Then, can you get me an autograph from someone?"
"That will be a breeze. Whose autograph you want?"
"It's…."
As Xian Ju was answering him, he was interrupted by the old man.
"Xian Ju, start the basic training with Ren."
"Ah, yes."
He stopped talking with White bear and started telling Ren about the basic postures and the correct way to hold the sword.
In martial arts, there are many different forms of posture and if one doesn't even know the basics of it, then he can't be said to be learning martial arts.
Holding the sword was a very basic and important thing. It was because it was directly related to how tight one's grip on the sword can be.
'Will he be okay?'
White bear thought in his mind. The same thought was on the mind of the old man as he left the training room but he shook off these thoughts.
'At least his face would be okay.'
The old man has commanded Xian Ju not to hurt his face and he was sure that he would not go against his command.
But the old man was not sure about anything else.…

I thought about what to do for a second then it hit me  just ask the system. System how do I use  my points {host you can use sp to raise skills to another level making them stronger.} {Attribute points can be used to raise things like strength and other stuff related to that.}I tried to use the status screen and the same screen came up .

I decided to put 5 of my attribute points in endurance remembering the damage I took from fighting the rabbit the rest of my  attribute points went into my mana because I wanted to be able to use the powers I saw in cool fantasy novels I read online after I did that my body became warm I felt a weird energy inside me I tried to manipulate it . I heard a ring in my head {skill learned mana manipulation.} {Then I tried to make it go all around my body {  harden  learned} I looked at my status screen it now looked like this.
