In the City of Sin, there is a very strange restaurant.

In this restaurant, the elves and dwarves must share a table, the orcs are strangely quiet (instead of being rowdy), dragons are only welcomed on the small square in front of the restaurant, and the demons must bring their own stool.

But this strange restaurant with their strange rules continuously attracts a long queue of customers.

“This place serves the best food! The chef of this restaurant is a genius!” Some of the guests in the restaurant left glowing reviews. But these guests have a word of warning for other guests, “And, no matter what you do, you should not attempt to kidnap the boss or try to ‘eat and run’, or you will die.”

A cute lovely girl near the door, and demanded in her small voice, “You have eaten the food, now pay up, or I will beat you to death.” The five-meter tall dragon suddenly felt a chill running up its spine.

Sora, a guy who was reading up on "That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime", had not been paying attention when he got struck by a moving truck. 
  
  He was taking his final breaths and he said to himself "wouldn't it be cool if I was in one of those isekai things? I mean, I just got hit by a truck. 
  
  I would love to have some cool powers and be able to live how I wanted to live. I guess dragons are pretty cool and they can do whatever they want, but it would kinda suck to be a slime though". 
  
  After everything went black, he thought it was strange since he could move around, except he was trapped in a circular object. "Why can't I get out? Why do I feel lighter? and why do I have claws as hands!"

"This is incredible…"

I stared at the screen in awe. The scene where rabbits and boars trampled on their predators, the wolves, was breathtaking. My jaw was wide agape the whole time since they first clashed.

"OP monsters… Thank goodness God Abruptum didn't nerf this…"

I made a joke in the spur of the moment to relish in aftermath of the fight. The scene that was displayed on the screen now was the celebrating rabbits and boars after defeating the wolves.

I let out a sigh and took a look at the items next.

Since the items were delivered into my <Pocket Dimension> by default, I only had to exit the window to be done with observing and keeping them.

I closed the <Dungeon Menu> as my work was now done. The first floor of the dungeon was secured with tight security, even though the bodyguards were only rabbits and boars, and the treasures I set up were still untouched.

"Anyway, since I can open the <Dungeon Menu> anywhere, I don't have to be in this room every time I need to open it."

I turned around and headed back to the passage where I first went through to get to the core room. I went up the stairs leading to the living room from the basement and then went straight to the second floor. Looking for the room where I can get comfortable with, I set up my sleeping space on one of the guest rooms. The master bedroom had a huge bed good for about 4 people, so I had to give up on it. I can't sleep properly with that kind of bed.

I went towards the bathroom to freshen up and after the refreshing shower I headed back to the guest room and lied down on the bed.

"Fuwwaaahhh… So comfortable…"

*Grumbling Sounds*

"…"

It looks like because of the tension earlier, I forgot to eat. I went to the kitchen to whip up some food from the corpses of the animals I hunted. I took a Horned Rabbit corpse out of the <Dimension Pocket> and laid it out on a tray, but…

"…"

'I forgot… I don't know how to dismantle them… I don't even know which part is edible or poisonous…'

"… Shit…"

A curse naturally flew out of my mouth at the regret of letting TB no. 2 leave earlier.

"I should've asked it first how to dismantle the corpses…"

I sent the corpse I took back and instead, took out one of the foods that the organizers left with me after my transfer.

But for some reason, the food that they left me with was something that was very familiar to me.

After a few seconds of shock and nostalgia, I smacked myself in the head with my right hand.

'What the heck are you getting surprised about? Don't mix up common sense with fantasy damn it!!'

Once again, I reinforced the 'Common Sense Does not Work in Dungeons and in Fantasy' belief in my head to the extreme.

Since there was running water in this house, as shown back when I was showering, it wasn't that hard to get clean water. Pouring in water to the kettle, I placed the kettle on the stove and opened the gas.

After waiting a brief moment for the water to boil, I poured the boiling water into the cup where the instant noodles was waiting for its demise.

A few minutes later…

"Fuuuhhh…"

After having my fill of cup noodles, I threw the cup into the trash. Surprisingly, the trash can here instantly disintegrate anything thrown inside.

"…I'll have to be careful next to this trash can…"

I went back up the stairs and to the guest room where I will stay for the night. I lie down on the bed to get comfortable and feel drowsiness overcome me… not.

"I can't sleep…"

Maybe because all of the tension from earlier still didn't disappear, I felt lively enough to not drift into slumber.

"What to do…"

Contemplating on what to do to relieve the tension, I remembered something very important to my livelihood.

"The book… I forgot the book…"

I quickly opened up the <Pocket Dimension> and took out the book that was given to me by the organizers to learn about the world. By the way, picking out items from my <Pocket Dimension> inside my <Pocket Dimension> was pretty weird, but whatever…

Seeing the book once more made my mood worsen.

"Oh god… This is very thick…"

I flipped open the book and into the first page. And thus starts my grueling activity of reading myself to sleep.

Long, long ago, in the distant past, there exists a singularity within the empty void. This singularity had the power to fabricate the very existence of worlds itself. During the period when the singularity had started to generate an ego for itself, it had a thought.

'This place is so dark.'

Thus let there be light!!!

With a single will of its thoughts, the light took place in the form of a sun. The void lightened up that day, making the singularity full of joy. Time passed then the singularity had another thought.

'There is nothing here…'

Thus the creation of the world!!!

In but a moment, a huge land of mass was created in the lonely void. Various beings came into existence here, such as trees, grass, etc. The singularity enjoyed itself creating all these things into existence and as such, more time passed.

'It is very lonely…'

The singularity had developed emotions. After eons of creating and more creating, the previously empty void was now filled with various huge lands of masses, each ranging in different sizes and shapes. But one thing in common could be seen on each of the lands of masses, there was no life. In reality, there was life, but the life that the singularity sought was one where they could communicate with each other.

Thus started the day where humans were fabricated into existence.

Drake, a game developer, after finally finishing creating his new game called "Dungeons and Mayhem", gets sucked into a parallel world where swords and magic rule the continent, as well as where various monsters and dangerous creatures roam about. The only forgiving thing is that he was transported with a benefit where he doesn't know left to right, and that is the power to view and manipulate the status!

Of a dungeon of course.

Legend has it that this word can be used in several ways. A fantasy narrative, if we used this meaning we are reducing it to something imaginary, but this is not the explanation we want, after all, the one who reads it may confuse it with a myth, which would cause a problem, because legends are based on real facts and, although they are distorted with time, they arise from a true context.

There is importance in defining terms, words have weight when used and, although they may have different meanings in different contexts, there is still the weight of their emergence, the reason for their use. The expression 'legend' perhaps needs, more than others, a meaning that comes close to an idea of accuracy, since the very creation of this world is mixed with its letters.

It is not known for sure when "or why" the gods will come to this world, but its importance for the development of today's world is well known. With the coming, there was also the arrival of the greatest gift, the appearance of rational races, those that populated the world and where the fuse for its transformation.

Five of these gods were stronger than their fellows, those who would later come to be known as the great pentagon, the basis of the religiousness of the greatest nations of the world. Believing that each god was responsible for the creation of a thinking race, the five most powerful in the world were those created by the quintet: Half-Heavenly, Glubinus, Dadízhi, Diaincis, and Spioradros. The others, created by gods of lesser importance, were left only the acceptance that they could not be the protagonists of their history.

The dense trees prevented the sight of those who passed through a path that passed by the origin of the noise. Soon after the answer a loud sound resounds, as if something big had collided with a tree, the shaking of its leaves amazes some birds resting there.

As I run towards the river I'm also picking up wood for my campfire. It will only take me 9 minutes with [Windrun] but I'll hunt beasts while on the way. It'll take me longer but hey I need Exp.

First beast I encounter is a Poisonous Black Anaconda Lvl 18.
"Goddamn it's huge and it spits poison."
I killed it in a few minutes and raised my level to Lvl 13. I met 12 more of these stinking snakes with same level and killed them. Now I'm Lvl 19 and halfway through Lvl 20.
Next I fight is with a Bloody Berserking Gorilla Lvl 25. Damn that HP: 2098. Took me quite a beating there but I still got it. Now it raised me to Lvl 24.

All in all in this farming session on the way to the river I got additional 35 SCP, 7 lottery tickets, 8 Poisonous Black Anaconda, 9 Snake skins (cause yeah some are burned to death and the system deemed it as trash or has a lot of holes thanks to lightning), 1 Bloody Berserking Gorilla core and lastly it's hide.

Finally arrived at the river I started preparing the bear when I realized I don't have condiments. 
"System, how many SCP and how long for the condiment creation magic?"

After 30 minutes, finally it's done. Now I want a good rest for my first night here in this world. Nemesis finally fell down to sleep like a puppet whose strings are cut.

Waking up from my slumber where I slept under the shade of a tree, I stood up then cleaned myself and the clothes I wore with a non-elemental spell [Detergeo].

The clothes I wore were products of my creation magic. The same goes to my weapons and needed useful objects such as my wallet, bed, "mini-mansion", and so forth.

For my upper body, I wore a gray shirt beneath the beige combat jacket. The combat jacket is not really a combat jacket but more of a thing I found interest for myself in internet that I enchanted with numerous combat related and useful spells which a couple of them boosted performance and efficiency, [Detergeo] for automatic cleaning of any kind of dirt and stains and [Protection] literally for resistance against slashes and anything that can ruin its appearance from battle to accidents.

As for my lower body, it's some matching plain-looking combat pants. Nothing special appearance-wise but deep down it's enchanted and enhanced too like my weapons and gear. The smell of magical enchantment and enhancement is gone too for obvious reason and common sense.

I wore my black combat boots obviously in my feet. It looked too normal; appearance wise it'll give an impression of "everyday adventurer can buy it".

You could say all of my personal possessions are like that, being enhanced and enchanted with the fact all of them were made of my personal award-winning god class versatile creation crystal snow white colored alloy element called badassisum or Snowium.

Of course, I made sure my clothes does not show a 'figure' of Snowium outside at first sight by any means because of generic stupid canon fodders. Also, it does not stand out too much.

I wonder how will I go in this world starting today? The old man told me many things since my very day one. Yet here I am, a damn good looking silver white-haired god in search of adventure or whatevs.

Looking at the skies, clouds slowly drift as I hear birds chirped above.

After making a walk for like many hours without using my magic in this safer trail while slightly checking the top ten trending headlines at this point of time to kill my boredom of walking that'll put walking trips to Hong Kong and Japan a joke, I began to think of my situation.

My situation's not bad since I don't need food and drink because of 'me being a god' condition.

I have creation magic that I can use to create objects to sell but my being a god condition caused my mana pool infinite due to godly regen meaning it'll look suspicious if I take an artisan job and mass produce my creations, for example, making hundreds of weapons per day by myself without getting mana drunk. Again, it's out if I do it publicly. Perhaps, I'll take the adventurer occupation instead of making money.

While I was walking with me being thinking about what to do in this world, a sound of moving carriage entered my hearing. From the things I saw thanks to my cheat that gave me no need of looking back and more, the appearance of it was white painted luxury carriage of high levels of craftsmanship and art. It looked expensive to me at first glance because of money and resources. So it must be some noble or someone of importance?

In my former life before my former counterpart pulled and merged with me, I am not fond of arrogant elite because of their selfish nonsense and my counterpart's traits of disliking stupid idiots resonating from our unified soul essence. Those things shown in my cheat opened my eyes after the day I merged with him. What it did basically scanned the character's soul and purity. So when I tried it on suspected not perverted handsome merchant during that time, the cheat showed he's very rotten. I was so shocked that I 'accidentally' assassinated him because it reminded me what happened to my uncle when I was a young kid on Earth. That's why never again to associate with despicable ones. Never again to give them a chance, but to eliminate them on sight. Steer clear and keep distance.

Still, this cheat I have is ideal for leaders and for kind of kind-hearted gentlemen who hold a special kind of dream.

As the thing approached behind meters by meters per seconds, I gave way to the carriage by sidestepping to the right side so that they can move faster in case of them possibly in-rush of their schedule. I don't know, I had to do that as a small courtesy but should they be rude and arrogant, I'll flash them with my blade defensively for a 'message'.

You know what they say, don't mess with me and my ramen or else get rekt.

We both hopped into his carriage.

True to his profession as it was appraised by my cheat earlier, he truly was a merchant who sold clothing. Everything from fashion to normal clothing but not the magical enchanted and enhanced ones. Only those who were into fashion will understand the feeling. I am not one of them though.

Speaking of myself, a sight of Valencia town made me enjoy the scenery of various infrastructures and stuff. People who yearned magic back on Earth thousand years ago should get to this life today there because starting today this fantasy world is now my homeworld.

For all that life is worth, we can never understand it's counterpart. it is something we don't quite understand. Well, more like we don't know, and what scares any creature that can think is not knowing anything about something so terrifying.  the question still remains, what happens after death?Are we reincarnated? Do we go to heaven or hell? Maybe we are reborn as cows? Who knows, maybe we all just float in darkness, or just cease to exist.
Then again i know what happens after death since i'm.. dead. Floating in darkness for the rest of time and space. it wasn't what i was expecting, since i believe in god. But it seems there is no heaven or hell for me, i guess. Or maybe thi is hell? who knows? although if this is hell then it's doing a good job of driving me insane. only reason i still hold my sanity is me simply looking through my memories and thinking n how life would be if i was still alive. It's what i think about the most about being in here.  Just thinking of the posibilities makes me forget about being here, being dead.
but then i realise that i cannot  enjoy life anymore as i am now dead. My body destroyed so much that it couldn't contain my soul. Even when i had my life i barely had enough time too enjoy it as i was just 25 years old. I realise that in that short period of time i never really got anything noteworthy done. all i could do is think on how my life could have been, but it's all fiction, not reality.
An whenever i am knocked out of my fantasy my mind, well my soul thought drift as too how i died.How did i die? this is a thought i had for a long time since  i can't remember what happened that lead to me dying at such a young age. i mean i remember everything else that's important like my work, my favorite food, favorite sport and  my famili-!

"Ding!" Before i  could even finish my thoughts i hear that sound coming from every direction, before i could think anything over the noise a screen popped out from existence directly ahead of me. it said this:

I stared at this screen as i feel multiple emotion flooding into my soul, emotions that i had lost being here return full force. shock, anger and confusion. But it seems being in here for so long dimmed those emotions. So much that they left as quickly as they came.
though the emotion that stayed the longest was confusion. confusion as too why someone would do this, i mean it says it just picked someone ramdom but why even make this? Why would god make this? is he bored? is this just repaying me for being in this void? And if it is then i must have been in this void for a long time then. I mean in the void time is just, none existence really. 'But it doesn't matter anymore, if he is giving me such a chance am i one to refuse?' i thought as i looked at the screen.
On the bottom right there was an arrow. I touched it and then the screen changed.

The screen changed into a lottery wheel. On top of the screen it said power. It then began spinning and a button showed up saying stop. I looked at the wheel trying too read whats on it but i couldn't.

' May luck bless me.' I thought and press the stop button as the wheel slowed down. After a couple of seconds i could read whats on it. Multiple abilities showed up and some i recognized  like 'legendary super saiyan bloodline ( no rage) and gate of bablyon(infinite items). It eventually stopped and landed on-

[Congratulations! You have received the ability art creation! With this ability anything you draw comes into existence! This ability needs creation energy. But don't worry, you will gain some energy and be able to increase the amount you have by meditating!]

... isn't this a little to op? Oh well, i'm not complaining.

I see a arrow and click it and another screen popped up this time on top of it it says world and the wheel. A click the stop button and it lands on rwby..... and the word changed in bracets behind it.

'Well i only hope their are only small changes.

I then see a button saying [start].

Before i clicked it i started thinking about everything i have done, everybody i care about and then..... i clicked it.

intresting facts: the rwby world changes will be that the rwby world is a bit more in order. There is a rather simple system i created just for remnant.

It was only after I had dealt with the Sithern that I allowed myself to pay attention to my surroundings.  The blizzard had ended, and there was a quiet stillness that sometimes greeted the new day.  The sun reflecting so brightly off the freshly compacted snow that glare and blindness were real concerns.

Earth was a beautiful world, and winter enhanced that beauty.  The snow blanketing everything in a pristine newness.  A fresh and unspoiled vista of possibilities, each snowflake proof of the wonders and innovation of Nature.

But already there were noticeable changes from the System integration.  

Traffic was stopped.  Cars abandoned as people had been transported to tutorial and lower level zones.  Nature was already reclaiming what man had so industriously built, reclaiming what had been lost, even in Winter the changes to land and buildings were obvious.  Plastics, rubber, garbage; the flotsam and detritus of modern life was decomposing at an accelerated rate.

Animals both indigenous and mythological were prevalent, an ecology that was being restored as life replaced the sterility of concrete and steel.  The most notable new life-form was the nest of Griffins that had claimed the CERN Dome as their new home.  They had managed to open a hole in the base just large enough to allow them to enter easily, and they were working to transform the space, to build an aerie for future chicks.  

I wasn't sure of the logic behind their appearance in this area.  We were in Switzerland so it seemed that the mountains would make a more suitable location, but perhaps they considered the nearby river and repopulated wildlife as a food source more important than the protections the mountains might give.

And it was entirely possible some Wyverns and Dragons had claimed those mountains.  If all of Earth's myths and legends were returning, then those beasts would certainly make an appearance.  They were part of the folklore and fantasy for most countries.

It was also likely that dwarves, kobolds, and Drow might populate the subterranean levels.  If they existed and needed to forage for food, placing nests within reach may be more problematic than somewhere in a lower-lying area.

The land the Sithern had been located at was flawlessly restored, any minute changes to landscape undetectable from the surrounding field.  There had been subtle changes hidden by glamour and illusion when the Sithern was active and in place, but everything had been wiped clean.  Even the drifting snow was uniform, the false spring that had protected the area nothing more than a distant memory.

"It's time," the Duchess reminded me, rousing me from my reflections.  Deliberately, I focused on her and her people, turning my back literally on the World that was like the fallen snow, fresh and filled with magic and possibilities.

"I agree," I said harnessing will,  intent, and word. 

"[Portal: Summerlands]" I intoned.  The activation and creation of the portal much easier this time than when I had attempted it from within the CERN Dungeon.  There was none of the inflexibility or rigidness as realities fought to link, no clashing of dimensional magics as each location fought for dominance. The dungeon had been closed, and it not only made opening the portal much easier, but the resulting structure was that much sturdier.

"I haven't visited the other side," I informed Duchess Wynne, "so, I'm not sure what will greet us.  You should go through first.  If there is something dangerous on the other side, you have the best chance of defeating it and protecting the others until I come through."

Nodding her head in agreement,  Duchess Wynne stepped into the portal authoritatively.  Unafraid and certain that she would be fine.  She was a Power, and without the threat and blackmail those holding her daughter had used to restrain that power, she would have leveled Haygan's land and Kel's Fief.

Her people followed quickly, their absolute devotion and faith in the Duchess obvious, as they too harbored no fear or hesitation.  Once the final Knocker had entered the Portal, Aspen and Pine moved to follow.  They paused at the threshold, turning for one final glimpse at the World that had been the place for their birth.  

Bowing their heads in benediction they released a blessing on the small field that had been home to the Sithern.  These lands were not claimed by the Sidhe, but their blessing would endure.  It expanded until it included the Griffin Aerie, restoring Spring to Winter.

The snow melting, becoming rivulets of freshwater that filled a small pool.  Flowers and fruit bushes bursting into full bloom and heavy with ripened fruit.  They created a close replica to the Sithern field, almost an exact replica of the place where their race had been born.  A final footprint, a lasting testament to the power of Creation that had been the epicenter, the place that had ushered in the new world order and System paradigm.

[World Announcement - The Cernunnos have created and gifted the World the first Landmark. The Nexus of Creation has been named.  Landmark protections have been activated.  Griffin Aerie identified as the Nexus of Creation Landmark Guardian.]  

Examining what it was they had wrought, the Cernunnos seemed satisfied.  I wondered if they regretted that they would have so little time with the world that birthed them.  It was impossible to tell.  Once they had left their gift for the people of Earth, they didn't allow hesitation or reluctance to affect their decision to enter the portal.  Once their benediction and gift had been accepted by System, they stepped forward with a certitude that belied any unwillingness.

As for me?  I had already severed my ties with Earth.  The changes that had been made to heal the chasm of my soul, the integration of my Caraid's memories had already begun to subsume my own old life.  That life, those memories were quickly fading, and any emotional lingering investment I might have in the people or the planet were fading along with those memories.

There was no more grief.  No sense of loss of purpose.  This world would fade becoming nothing more than vague dreams, occasional reminders, until those too faded.  

My duty was done.  I stepped through the Portal into the Summerlands, closing the Portal to Earth behind me.  

Forever.

Transiting between realms made no logical sense, but then magic wasn't based on logic.  But there did seem to be rules, Universal Laws that even this type of travel adhered too.  The person that took that step into the unknown, that traversed wormholes, or dimensional rifts, or magic gates, whatever the reality behind the Portals was, that person was destroyed.  Rendered into the composite molecules and atoms that made me, me.  

And as my body was torn into its constituent parts, the final changes were made to my memories. I would remember Danu, Beleros, Cyronax, and System.  But the rest, those memories of S-Prime and the rules of Karma and the multiverse I had learned during reincarnation were removed.  Caraid and I became who we were meant to be.  

I was now and forever Teigh Mac de Beleros y Cyronax.

I dismissed the notification negligently. Perhaps I should have wondered how way-stations could be removed from my Spell list,  but I wasn't unduly concerned.  The Portal to Talahm remained, and that was all that I cared about.  I wanted to return and begin.  It was time to build and claim a home.

"Where will the Portal to Talahm open," I asked Duchess Wynne once I had taken a visual headcount and assured myself everyone had arrived safely and at the same location.  I was more than happy to find that the first phase had worked as I'd hoped, but I was unsure where we would arrive at on Talahm since I'd not created a waypoint as a saved location.

"Chances are near the last location on Talahm you were before entering the dungeon and left Talahm.  It should  be very close to where the CERN opening was located."

Understanding the logic, we decided to move on quickly.  The time vagaries of Summerlands may already mean we returned dozens or hundreds of years from the moment in time when CERN dungeon had been closed by Cedric.

A quick cast of [Portal: Talahm] and a new dimensional rift was quickly opened.  We entered in the same order.  Perhaps it was psychological, the knowledge that we were finally returning home, but the excitement and sheer joy was obvious as one by one each individual, those long trapped in CERN, rushed to finally be done with this part of their travels.

I did take a moment to save the current location as my default setting for Summerlands.  The area was uniformly bland, seemingly benign.  Nothing but sparse vegetation and broken boulders littering the ground.  With nothing dangerous apparent, it would be a safe location for quick egress if I needed to teleport here in the future.

Once done, I too quickly entered the Portal, happy that I would soon be reunited with friends.  And people I was quickly coming to consider my family.

The Duchess had been correct, we had arrived in the cave system where CERN had formed.  I had barely got a moment to get my bearings before I was overwhelmed with System Messages.

I was given a second chance.  I could choose how to reincarnate, who to be, and what Universal constants would impact my next life.

And when I learned that creatures of mythology, the ancient Gods; Olympians, Asgardians, Sidhe, lived and ruled, how could I resist?

This is a slice of life type novel that deals with RPG elements including System, Leveling, Politics, Transmigration, and Killing.

My demon sister puffed, finishing the special curry omurice I made with a satisfying smile.

"You should try savoring the food," I wiped a speck of curry off her cheek with a handkerchief. "It's not like I am stealing it from you."

"Ara~ you should have licked it off," Amae giggled playfully, "That's because I can't help myself after the first bite, your cooking is utterly delicious."

I felt my cheeks grew warm. As a chef, my pride came from my food and I loved how expressive Amae was during our meals. She would provide suggestions so I could improve my recipe to cater more towards the monsters. Through the tastings, I discovered they prefer a lighter taste and my guess came from their heightened senses, which intensified the salt and spice flavors.

"I guess it can't be helped," I smiled, bringing out my latest creation, "Now then, are you ready to try some fried tofu?"

"Always~ ♡"

Around two weeks flew by since the creation of my first meal. Rumors of me being a 'food magician' rapidly spread, elevating me into a unique position. In fact, Amae and the Guardians appointed me as the palace's supreme head chef.

Similarly, I taught Neko and other maids on the fundamentals to culinary art. Through lessons and live demonstrations, the catgirls made simple beginner dishes such as Alfredo pasta and soup dumplings. 

"So Neko, where's the cooked salmon?"

"Please forgive me milord, it looked too appetizing and the feline in me could not contain myself..."

And occasionally, I would have to stop them from temptation.

I also started doing Amae's laundry, which included handwashing and drying an array of lavishing robes and evening gowns. When I first asked, she responded with helping out hmm... then you can take care of my clothes! 

I still became flustered when I reach the lingerie portion. It was interesting how my demon sister wore bras and panties.

Memories of our hot spring ritual reappeared, reminding me of her perfect human features — her bare skin, voluptuous blossom, slender waist...

My mind erupted like a volcano once again.

I feel like a househusband.

And honestly, I did not mind being a homemaker. The thought of my demon sister fighting against the entire world while I tended our majestic palace sounded like the perfect melodramatic fairy tale. Except this was the sheer reality and I loved it.

But every day was the same — it gradually became boring.

I can't help but feel this way. 

It's wrong to deny my feelings.

That was because nothing new ever happened, except for the occasional gossips on the latest combat report. And due to my authority and "human" values, I found it difficult to establish commonality and ultimately, make genuine friendship with other monsters.

Soon enough, I was daydreaming, pondering about the outside world.

I wonder if there are technology and cars.

Or is it a fantasy world with castles and floating islands?

Or maybe it's something beyond my imagination.

After dusting the cabinets in our bedroom, I took off my face mask and let out a deep sigh.

"If only there was Wi-Fi here."

"Hey, big sister."

Amae glanced up from her sorcery tome, which depicted floating holographic-blue icons and symbols I did not understand.

We were relaxing in the Great Library, located beneath the depth of the earth. My sister decided to take a break from the frontline to research for the upcoming campaign, which involved fighting against high elves with vast magic potential.

"I want to go outside."

"But we are spending quality time right now."

Conversation on this topic always went something like this. Typically, she would act playful and exuberant. But whenever we talked about the outside, her tone instantly sounded hesitant.

I shut her book with my hands and sat on Amae's lap, looking at her straight in the eye and pouted like a whiny little brother.

"Outtttttside!~"

My big sister smiled mysteriously. She placed her hand on my cheek, studying my expression with an earnest look. The softness of her touch instantly placated my mood. As our eyes locked gaze, my heart skipped multiple beats and I found myself lost in this entrancing moment.

"The outside is a dangerous place for a human, filled with constant threats and erratic creatures beyond your worst nightmare. Do you still wish to go?"

I nodded, "I have no need to fear because you'll protect me."

She grasped my hand tightly as if she was afraid of something. 

"Without a doubt, I'll guard you with my life. But there are ancient beings who wield similar strength and magic power as me," Then she said candidly. "In such an unpredictable world, I don't trust myself enough to ensure your complete safety."

I see... that explains why she was so reluctant.

It's selfish for me to keep insisting.

Because it would put her life in danger too.

Someday... I'll get over it.

Suddenly a voice appeared behind us. It was Kai'Sa, one of the offensive generals for Amae's army. The apex predator wore her void suit, which was skin-tight and pulsated with an omniscient purple energy.

"Then my lord, how about we assign three Commanders and the Honor Guards as your escort?"

"Request denied," Amae responded with an inscrutable expression. "I do not wish to put my subordinates in unnecessary danger."

"Lord Amae, it is only natural that you have doubts in us protecting your little brother. After all, our abilities are miniscule in your reckoning."

Kai'Sa continued in a respectful tone that was laced with a stern strength.

"However, we are your vassals who swore our life's allegiance towards you. Your happiness is our purpose. We — all the Commanders will accomplish any tasks assigned to us, no matter how difficult or onerous, with every ounce of our strengths. Thus, if you wish to bring your little brother outside, then the entire army will comply with your request."

Her voice was filled with power, and in it was the adamant loyalty and representation of the other Commanders who seemed to felt the same.

"What are your thoughts?" Amae smiled and turned towards me. It seemed that I was making the final call.

"I want to see the outside world. Not only that, I want you to be my side as I experience your world for the first time."

Amae's expression seemed to change when I said first time.

"If that's what you want," My big sister patted my head lightly and turned towards Kai'Sa. "You, Warwick and Shyvana will be leading the escort."

"Yes, Lord Amae! Thank you for presenting me this opportunity, I will protect our supreme rulers at all cost." Kai'Sa prostrated deeply and her voice sounded more animated than before. "Rest assured, the two of you will be able to fully enjoy your date."

Then she looked at me and bowed again.
