My name is Crystal Bachleda and my PSEUDONYM Name is C. M. Brighid Bachleda, and welcome to my FIRST attempt at writing a Speculative Fiction of Echtra, Romantic Fantasy, Mythic Fiction, Urban Fantasy, Supernatural Fiction and Erotic Literature.

(Echtra: (plural-Echtrai) Old Irish word for adventure(s) or outing(s); modern and middle Irish language word is pronounced as Eachtra. Type of pre-Christian Old Irish literature about a hero's adventure in the Otherworld or with otherworldly beings.)

Echtra is an interesting genre and its plural form Echtrai makes for an interesting title; this story is my own Modern Fairy Tale mixed with Mythic Fiction and Urban Fantasy with a touch of Supernatural Fiction. I was inspired by *Hayao Miyazaki's* SPIRITED AWAY to try writing my own Mature version BUT with a gender bender twist to *Hans Christian Andersen's* SNEDRONNINGEN/THE SNOW QUEEN with a touch of H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos mixed with a twist to Tam Lin.

I am also trying Romantic Fantasy with a modern and supernatural twist; I'm taking a step out of my comfort zone as I try my hand at Erotic Literature. I did my research, even read erotic stories for inspiration and used my imagination with more research to the best of my abilities.

I have also turned this book into a TV Show of sorts told by the main character's view point; there will be episodes instead of chapters and story arcs instead of parts or books. I'm also taking a page from *Rick Riordan's* THE KANE CHRONICLES trilogy by making it into recordings of sorts and I am happy with the results.

(This Warning is to forewarn what *might* happen within the story; I want to make sure that the story I've written will not cause problems. This is ONLY a story that I made up and I will apologize if I made anyone uncomfortable but I also hope that you, Esteemed Readers, will give this book a chance)

As the title suggests, this section is of how I came up with this character. I'm doing this mostly cause I suck at writing and I can't come up with anything for the next chapter, so bear with it. I guess. No one's forcing you to.

This story goes back to a dark time in most people's life, high school. Ava didn't start out in her own world or her own story. She came out of a crappy Final Fantast 7 fan fic I came up with at some point. And her name was Eden at the time. Why? 'Cause I thought it sounded cool. The biggest reason she's female is because of how I grew up. I grew up in a mostly female household. My sisters always had control over the tv and movies and whatnot. So it was constant "girly" movies. Stuff like Mulan, Pocahontas, The Powerpuff Girls, Bratz and even Barbie. I never actually had a favorite Barbie movie, they were all torture. (Princess and the Pop Star. Fight me b****). Normally a young boy would hate this and would rather be watching Transformers or something, but not this guy. I liked these movies growing up. I discovered Final Fantasy around middle school and really enjoyed it. By the time I was in high school and, for some reason, decided to make a fan fiction and I made Ava. I automatically made her female because I grew up with badass female characters; Mulan, Pocahontas, Ripley, Wonder Woman, etc. So I wanted to make a character as awesome as they were. Originally I was going to make her more like one character that I had already come up with in middle school(still doing rewrites on that character to this day .-.). This was like peak emo phase so she was going to be extremely edgy. But then it hit me, none of my favorite characters were necessarily edgy. They had their dark moments, but they also had their charming and whimsical moments. So I strayed from making her too much like Elisa (that's the character). Back to business; after the whole fan fiction fiasco, I finally played a Final Fantasy (I did like Final Fantasy in middle school, but hadn't actually played one until high school). And that game was Final Fantasy 13, one of the worst in the series, but it is a guilty pleasure of mine. I got so into it that I researched as much as I could about 13 and found the whole Nova Chrysalis thingy. In the process I discovered Final Fantasy Type-0, a game out of the Nova Chrysalis mythology. It still hadn't received its western release, but I got my hands on a PSP emulator and downloaded a fan translation version of the game. Over time the FF7 fan fiction became a Type-0 fan fiction. It was then that I had finally named her Ava and in that fan fic she was actually one of the newest members of Class Zero. Throughout most of high school I kept that fan fiction until one day I thought to myself, why don't I make Ava her own thing? I didn't entirely scrap the fan fic however. If I somehow end up making more than one chapter, and if you've played Type-0, you'll notice that I kept a ton of elements from it, some stuff from 13, and some pretty heavy inspirations from Wonder Woman. Since then I've come up with my own things to add to her world expanding it as much as I can, but can't actually write any of it because it sounds better in my mind and when I finally write it I end up thinking "I am an insult to all writers out there". And that is her origin as a character. 

Small little bonus:
Sometime during my senior year I had gotten pretty decent at drawing so I researched all kinds of armor that I could apply to Ava. The female body has always been easier for me to draw so drawing Ava wasn't that much of a big deal (I once tried to draw Spider-Man, but I subconsciously drew a female so I ended up with Gwen Stacy's Ghost Spider instead). After much research on female armor I finally got down to drawing it. And it sucked. Bad. I did keep it though. Mostly because it's the only succesful one I've drawn and still use the armor design to this day. If I ever make it to the point when she gets her armor, describing it will be hell.

And I think that's about it. Toodles.

Tengda naturally was on holiday during the seven-day National Day Holiday.
The last cycle just ended. Pei Qian's personal wealth had reached 2.2 million yuan, which was very touching. He could take his opportunity to have a good rest.
His parents had finally moved to the new house.
Pei Qian's plan went very well. He first got them to choose the furniture and household appliances and got them to stay there for a few days to bring some life to the house. The house was a gift to them naturally.

The shock therapy was prepared for the department that made the most money but most departments seemed to be making money during the last cycle, but none of them made Pei Qian really anxious.
Obviously, the most profitable of all was IOI's 500 million shares. However, should this be counted towards Dream Realization Ventures or Shang Yang Games? None of them seemed very suitable.
It was a historical issue, strictly speaking.
Should he give Old Ma the shock? That seemed pointless as well.

Otto Technologies might not have done anything, but they had only spent money without production. That in itself was a merit.
It would be a waste not to give the reward. Find the best fitting one and make do with it.
Pei Qian handed over the commendation to Assistant Xin after he was arranged and then began to think about the new game.
This cycle only had four months, which was totally not enough for a well-made RTS game.
Not to mention CG, it was simply not enough.
Therefore, Pei Qian thought about dragging this game to the next cycle and spent more money.
However, he had no idea how to make this game.
Pei Qian did not want to decide for himself, let alone Hu Xianbin and the others. No matter which one it was, it seemed that there would be no good results.

What He An said made sense after thinking carefully.
Competing on the wrong footing would on the contrary increase the substantiality.

why waste time writing nothing? why the fuck not!

Hello lovely readers~ I'm sorry this isn't a story update, but one will follow shortly tomorrow! I just wanted to let you know that I changed the listed genre of this story to Realistic Fiction instead of Fan Fiction. I don't know how this will affect the story, but rest assured, the story will continue as intended with BTS and friends despite the change.

To answer the question in the title:

1) The MC is Iris Huang, a fictional character along with her family and the other Big Hit trainees. Any k-pop idols included in this story are secondary leads. 

2) BTS are not the only k-pop included in this story; thus, this is more of a k-pop fanfic if anything. With that said, they are more integral to the story than the others. 

But because this story began as an entry into the BTS writing competition, I have since after its end gotten some hate for writing it merely due to BTS fanfics swamping the Fan Fiction section. (I really don't see the case for it because the top popular fan fics listed only showed 3 BTS fan fics including mine much lower down the browsing results. But with the contest, the sudden influx probably messed up the New section.) 

In short, imagine this as a fictional story that's realistic in being set in the modern world and time with real-life people's names. This story was never completely about BTS, it was about Iris surviving in the music industry. It's like saying a fantasy story can't also be a romance; even though, the story may be listed under Fantasy as the main genre. 

3) I see stories on here not listed as fan fiction when they're based on TV shows and series, and the story MC is clearly the MC of that original show. Since I think my story follows Realistic Fiction more than as a BTS fan fiction since it isn't totally centered around them, I changed it two weeks after the competition ended. Additionally, now no one can complain about their favorite fan fiction being overrun by BTS ones.... I don't want to inadvertently add to the hate that BTS receives for stupid reasons like this.

Anyway, those are my reasons for both any new or old readers. I had initially created this story for the contest in hopes of being considered different from the ones commonly found on Wattpad. I wanted to remain respectful to BTS while creating a truly original but modern story.

Synopsis:

BTS, Bangtan Sonyeondan, Bulletproof Boy Scouts, Beyond The Scene. The idol group had various names, but to Iris, BTS would forever be her inspiration, both in music and in life.

She had first encountered them by accident during BTS’s American Hustle Life. Curious and smitten by the adorably awkward boys who couldn’t speak English very well, she later discovered that they were K-pop idols. Upon discovering K-pop, she realized her passion for singing and dancing. She joined the Korean Culture Club at her university and participated in K-pop dance covers.

But as a practical girl, she never pursued music seriously. As a second generation American to Thai and Chinese parents, she felt a responsibility to graduate college and be a successful businesswoman. But BTS was the wildcard in her life. When she fatefully met them again during their Wings world tour, her life would never be the same again.

Tossed into the brutal world of K-pop, she became somehow became a Big Hit trainee!

There is short notice for The Darkfallen update: the firth and last installment of this epic dark science fantasy currently on progress, is freaking long! Longer than I expected, had to split into two separate volumes parts maybe more. Have stockpiles of chapters ready but I'm very eager to complete the Shinsuke Saga. The fifth installment explore further into the nitty-gritty war-tore alternate world beset by hostile cosmic monsters and supernatural creatures. Although mostly a science-fiction setting, with touch of alternative history, firth volume adapts several tropes from fantasy fiction, such as magic, supernatural beings, mind possession, other dimensions, elements of cosmic horror. 
Dear Readers,
I'm still up to my eyebrows in other work commitments, and cannot find the time to write more about The Darkfallen. There's another epic fantasy story already written in my desktop as well several spin offs and prequels of Darkfallen universe. 
I'd like to finish what I had started with the Shinsuke Saga, with ample support and votes I would like to write and publish another book on this platform. Otherwise they will no new work coming however do enjoy the Finale of the Darkfallen!
