The next morning there was a huge quarrel at Ador's home.  It was like a verbal battle of accusations thrown towards Ador from Unma. Ador understood her sibling's  pain and humiliation.  She promised Unma that if there is a next time,  when Dev tries to meet her,  she will make it very clear to him regarding how important Unma is to her.  Ita  and Kir were unhappy.  It had been many years there was no quarrel in the house,  that also due to an outside element,  a boy.   Ador too felt low and closed herself in the room for introspection of the situation, her past life and  her present. 

During her college years,  there was a guy called Jeev, who proposed love to her during her second year of college.  It was her first attempt in finding out about love and infatuation.  She had asked for some time to ponder on the matters related to heart.  Jeev had agreed,  since he knew Ador would agree.  They started off being good friends first and when she used to meet him without any inhibitions,  he took the next step forward.  In the valleys of Sikkim,  when they went for their first official date,  they walked hand in hand,  feeling all silly. Ador was blushing and Jeev was smiling foolishly from ear to ear. They ended the date with mutton dimsums. a delicacy of the hills.  Then came half yearly examinations and both were busy studying.  Ador always wanted to excel in studies, so during study break, they did not meet.  Post the examinations both Jeev and Ador met, they were excited that the exams were over, and it was time for Ador to accept him as a part of life.   As usual they met in a restaurant serving mutton dimsums, Ador's  favourite, during dusk.   Prior to eating,  Jeev started being all romantic and gave  Ador a rose. She was enjoying his pampering. Then suddenly he pulled her close and kissed her on the lips.  It was a small peck first,  then when Ador did not stop him,  he started to get deep.  He planted a wet kiss.  Ador had her eyes closed during the first peck. but when his saliva touched her,  she felt all jittery,  vomitting types. She stopped him,  then and there and went to the washroom to clean her mouth.  When she came back,  she was all furious.  Why did he use saliva??? "eeks" ,she said.  Jeev felt hurt,  he said,  he too was unaware that he was full of saliva. She called it quits.  Ador was angry,  she went back to the girls hostel.  Jeev went back to his , and was sad and gloomy.  The next morning,  at college a rumour spread that Ador was a lesbian. 

First it was just a talk between classmates,  then it spread to seniors and juniors of college.  Ador became furious , when she came to know about what her friends were saying behind her back, and had a verbal spat with Jeev in front of the whole class,  post which she despised the company of guys.  Two and a half years passed this way and she left college with good grades, back home and then to the plains of Bengal in search of a job. 

Though she had a lot of male colleagues at work,  but she kept her distance from them.  Then Dev happened.  She felt hurt when post their first meet,  they were not in touch.  Now,  though Dev  made the first move and kissed her,  and though she did not feel a thing like those described in romantic novels called love,  she wanted to give herself a chance.  Ador wanted to make Dev,  only hers.  The word "lesbian" was ringing  in her ears.  She wanted to get out from the shackles of her past.  " I will make you,  mine,  Dev" she promised herself.

As one grows up,  in the Indian subcontinent,  marriages are arranged. 
This story revolves around a boy,  who was immature enough to get married,  shoved into the rat race of work and earning money and before he could realise his goals in life clearly,  he was put into an arranged marriage. 
As years go by,  he though bodily matured,  but emotionally still a boy gets involved into alcoholism,  smoking,  women,  gambling.  He took his arranged marriage as part of life's  adjustments. 
I  don't love you anymore is contradictory as he falls in love with his wife past 25 years of marriage,  whereby he realises,  friends who seemed friends actually,  were enemies in disguise.He goes for rehabilitation,  due to alcoholic tendencies but does not recover.  He does not succeed in business world and feels all these bad things that are happening to him is because of his wife.   She is the greatest bad luck in his life is what he feels. He never loved his wife,  from the first day of marriage,  took her just for sexual needs,  made her his 24*7 secretary,  beat her to pulp due to alcoholism and frustration.
But she never left his side. As years go by,  he sees his wife as the only strongest pillar of his life. So when at the age of 60, he thinks of telling her his true feelings for her,  his wife says that she has moved on in life.  Now that her children are grown up,  she is tired of his bickering and fights.  She confessed,  I don't love u anymore and goes to enrol in an old age home,  to live a life  without any pain and emotional struggle.

Even when you look at the book cover of two ducklings, here in this book, looking at opposite directions, this also has a lot of significance,  as per the storyline.  Both are in the same pail,  as in marriage,  at a young age, tied to the family, but both looking in opposite ways.  One into family bond,  taking care of in law's,  children,  daily grocery shopping,  cooking and doing all household chores.  The other has his life outward bound,  partying around,  drinks and friends, women,  gambling, earning money and travelling distant lands,  passports filled with visas of countries around the world, no strings attached to the family. 
As years fly by and things don't change in the scenario,  the wife at old age walks out of marriage, to lead a life as per her choice, at 62 years,  the man has now stabled up and looks forward to live his old age along with his wife,  but here is the cliche,  she simply walks out without looking behind to a life where she relentlessly always gave without any returns or favours asked. She walks towards an unknown voyage at old age where nobody expects anything from her and she does not expect anything from anyone, a house she would learn to call her home,  an old age home.....

This is my first attempt in weaving a story.  I would appreciate for a genuine feedback from my supporters in the form of comments,  votes and spirit stones.

After deciding that they will start an all-out war with the dark organization without any plans to follow, Morgana open the door of the walk-in closet and was surprised at what's inside. Even her sister's eyes bulged out of their sockets upon seeing it.
Wow!!! Sister, those are my favorite colors can I have it??? Arriane said as she suddenly gets up of the bed and walked over to Morgana grabbing one of the gowns which are delicately embroidered with a red rose. The gown is made of Burmese lotus flower silk and it was so meticulously sewn by an expert couturier and designed by a famous fashion designer. The other gowns are made of the equally expensive quality of fabrics and also made by the same famous designer. There are countless beautiful accessories too, the accessories are all made of gold diamonds and priceless jade that accentuated the design and quality of each gown.
Hahaha, of course, you can have it, you can choose anything you want, I'm not going to use all of these clothes anyway, there are a few more in the back, let's check it out. Morgana said to her sister noticing the sets of clothing at the back of the beautiful frocks
Morgana pulled the inner layer of the closet and it reveals different kinds of nightgowns, pants, shorts, shirts, and jackets. There are sets of black pants and black hooded sweatshirts. Below are shoes, boots, and stilettos.
Ah??? Where are the undies??? Morgana said as she realized that there are no brassiere and panties among all the garments in front of them.
Ahahahaha, sister, it looks like the system is not yet familiar with undergarments, I guess that we need to buy it at the department store ourselves lest we go out wearing beautiful frocks but no panties hehehe. Arriane said jokingly to Morgana as she saw her creases her head.

Oh, maybe there's a dryer that we can used to dry it in the laundry room, let's just but more undies tomorrow. Morgana said decidedly as she gives up the idea of buying underwear from the system's store.
Yeah right, just don't ask me to buy the underwear for those men. Arriane said to Morgana as she continues scrolling down the system store looking at all the beautiful clothes that were on the display and catches her attention.
Morgana: hey, stop what you're doing for a while, just do it later before you sleep, let's go downstairs and look for something to eat. We have a guest in the house with us, maybe it will be better if we go to the department store now and buy supplies for the house and the underwear that we need, so that we don't have to sleep without underwear tonight.
Arriane: Oh, okay wait up. Arriane said putting the beautiful gown back in its hanger and hang it back where she took it.
Downstairs, the living room is empty. Not a single soul is around, the living room is quiet as if they are alone in the big mansion. Morgana looked at her sister, wondering where the others are, or if they fall asleep in the room that they picked for themselves.

"According to your situation, I suggest you raise a British Shorthair," Zhang Zian said to a customer who was hesitating about buying a cat.
"OK, let me consider." The customer had not decided yet.
"Eeek!"
Zhang Zian was startled, and he looked back to the stairwell to the second floor. He saw Pi extend its little head and beckon to him quietly, and then immediately withdrew its head.
"What is that sound?" The customer looked around and wondered. "Mr. Store Manager, do you have other pets besides cats, dogs, and birds?"
"No, I don't. It is the old stairs that creak when they are stepped upon." Zhang Zian made up an excuse. "Feel free to look at the pets here, and if you have any problems, you can ask the cashier for help. Now excuse me, I need to go upstairs."
After he finished the words, he quickly went back upstairs.
Recoiling in fear, Pi was waiting for him in front of the living room.

"Meow! Welcome!" Galaxy said happily. "Let's play hide-and-seek together!"
"Wait a minute, I'm going to ask Famous to play with us. That guy has been sleeping all day long. It's time for it to wake up." Zhang Zian rushed downstairs.
After a while, he returned to the second floor with the sleepy Famous and asked, "Who is going to be the seeker? Let's decide by playing rock-paper-scissors! Ready? Rock, paper, scissors!"

"Heads or tails? Who will guess first?" he asked.
"Meow! Heads!" Galaxy answered first.


Famous was even more speechless. Isn't it obvious that I will lose to Galaxy when it comes to guessing heads or tails? The probability of me winning is simply zero!
Zhang Zian looked at Famous mischievously and asked, "Famous, so you will choose tails?"
"No, I don't choose either side. I admit defeat." Famous sighed. "Forget it, I'll be the seeker. Why are you bullying me today?"
"What are you talking about? We were not bullying you! You lost in the rock-paper-scissors!" Zhang Zian laughed. "Just go to count—right, you must not use your sense of smell to seek us, you will be cheating if you do!"
"You are in no position to accuse others of cheating!" Famous reluctantly found a corner. Facing the wall, it closed its eyes and said, "1,2,3,4..."
Galaxy first sought a place to hide. Zhang Zian squeezed its eyes to Pi and gestured that they should hide in different places.
Pi had seen Zhang Zian and Galaxy play hide-and-seek before, but it was the first time that Pi personally participated in this game. It had been staying in the living room almost all the time and was not familiar with other rooms. Since it did not know where to hide, it finally hid itself under the desk.

Hindi niya kasi matanggap na ganon na lang ang tingin nito sa mga bata sa ampunan. Kahit na ba sa tingin niya ay nagiba na ang opinion nito hindi pa rin niya maiwasang pagtripan ito paminsan-minsan.
"Ah, pwede mo bang ihatid si Dan—" pareho nilang nilingon ang binata na ngayon ay kinukuyog na rin ng mga bata. Hindi niya maiwasang matameme na ngumingiti ito habang nakikipaglaro, ang gwapo nakakainis.
"Hindi na pala kailangan." 
Sandali niyang pinanuod si Dan, hindi niya kasi akalain sa pagkakakilala niya rito ay mahilig ito sa mga bata. Dagdag pogi points na naman ito sa kanya, hindi niya tuloy maiwasang isipin kung nagkaroon na ito ng sariling anak.

Mabuti pang lumayo siya nang konti at mawala ang nandedemonyo sa isip niya. Mahirap nang mabuko ang awkward kaya 'non at nunca tatagal siya sa ganong scenario.

Siguro hindi lang niya maiwasang ma-fascinate sa dalaga, ibang-iba kasi ito sa mga babaeng nakakasalamuha niya.

Ano bang nangyayari sa kanya? Bakit ganon na lang ang reaksyon niya pagdating kay Athena?

     She was working as a cashier at a the supermarket close to her house she only worked for a small period of time, four hour per day so it was quite fine to keep going.

INSOMNIA 
   She looked at the time and it was time for the pill that helped her to keep going.
   It was for her to sleep well,feel less anxious feel less unhappy. It was her lifebuoy.
She took he pill and went to the kitchen ate some instant noodles and went to her bed.
But she wasn't sleepy at all, taking the pill only half helped with her sleeping problems, she had that for way too long to a simple pill to cure it. She got up and smoked a cigarette before heading back to her bed.

SHE WAS BORED
 She played her mobile games for a while than read some chapters of her favorite novels, she put real money on reading, she loves reading and spend almost a third of her payment on Spirit stones, no regrets after all is one of the thing that are more pleasurable to her, reading novels, writing a novel help her improve her English but reading one helped her getting out of the hell-like life she was  in.

She fell sleep after midnight totally forgetting about YBS. YES her memory is that bad.

Carlos and Alex went back to the motel still very quiet. They can't help but to be awkward with each other and they also had to pretend like nothing happened.

For Alex, she regretted kissing Carlos. Her main purpose for doing it was to stop him from talking but she never thought she would feel something different. There was like an electricity that attracts her to do it again.

For Carlos, he respects Alex and he doesn't want her to feel awkward towards him. He wants the two of them to get to know each other more. He wants the two of them to help each other and be comfortable with each other. He hopes they can be bestfriends.

He doesn't want to fall for her or the other way around, that would make things complicated. He was happy at first to know that Alex is a lesbian so he thought it would be easy for them to pretend to be happily married after their wedding in front of their families. He has to make sure that everything will go according to his plans.

After arriving in their room, they both put their plastic bags of food on the table. Alex sat down on the bed while Carlos went to the bathroom. As soon as he entered the bathroom, she grabbed her hair and slapped her cheeks.

"What were you thinking?" She whispered to herself. "Have you lost your mind?"

When she heard the door knob of the bathroom door opening, she fixed herself immediately and took the bag on the table.

"I'm good. I don't drink yet. I promised granny I won't try alcohol until I reach 18. You should have bought some on our way here." Alex answered.

"I forgot. Someone makes me stressed so I couldn't think clearly. I wonder what she really likes." He said. He started teasing her again.

Alex felt relieved to know that he is not that affected. She hopes they could just forget what happened and spend the night at peace.

"I'll be back immediately. Don't leave. I'm scared of ghosts. I will tell granny that you kissed me if you escape from here." He said smiling before heading for the door.

Alex can't help but smile to what Carlos said. At least now, she could feel relaxed. She started eating the burger she bought and decided to check her social media account. She is not the type of person who likes posting things about herself. She only uses her account to know what is up with her friends and to stalk women. This time she decided to check Carlos' account.

She typed Carloz Mendez on the search panel.  She found his account immediately and was surprised to see the number of his followers. He has more than 3 thousand followers and he is only following more than 200. How can he be that famous? Alex don't find him handsome and he is not charming as well. She admits that he is cute at times but still most of the people she knows, even the most beautiful girl she knows in her school only has more than 1 thousand followers.

She then checked the pictures he posted. He has a picture of him topless, showing his abs in a beach. He also posted pictures of himself which Alex thought has been edited since he looks handsome in them. She got curious with the comments since almost all of his pictures have more than 100 comments. Most of the people who left comments in his pictures are girls. One said, "You look so yummy. Please marry me." This comment makes Alex feel sick. Women nowadays have a very low standard she thought.

She pressed the locked button on her phone immediately when she heard the door opening. Carlos is now back with a box of beer.

"What the heck is that? I thought you only want a bottle?" Alex asked.

"The seller in the convenient store is so pretty. I asked for her phone number for this box of beer." He said proudly.

"Childish!" Alex whispered.

"You should try drinking a little. You are already 17 anyway and I won't tell granny about it. It will be our secret." Carlos said.

"Forget it. I have to go to school tomorrow and besides, I don't trust you. Men make women drunk nowadays to get what they want." Alex

"You're not a woman though." Carlos said. Alex couldn't explain the sudden feeling of pain when she heard that statement from him. Yes, she is a lesbian but it doesn't mean she is safe with him. It is painful to know that Carlos doesn't see her as a woman.

Carlos opened two bottles of beer and handed one to Alex. "You don't need to finish it, just try. Do you want me to order other food? We can have pizza or how about chicken?"

"Up to you. I will order pizza for myself." He then used his phone and checked on something. Alex stared at the bottle of beer in front of her. She couldn't stop thinking about what Carlos said. She is not a woman. "What a jerk!" She whispered.

"You're saying something?" He asked.

"I'm talking to myself." Alex couldn't understand why those words could hurt her so badly. She grabbed the bottle of beer and engulped it. She didn't stop until she was able to finish the whole content of it.

Carlos didn't notice what she did since he was busy looking at his phone. When he was finished ordering, he looked at Alex and smiled. "So, tell me about yourself? What kind of women do you want? Have you tried having sex with your gf? Do lesbians have any positions?"

Alex felt embarassed with his questions. He got the bag of burger Carlos bought and threw it at him. "Too personal. We are not that close."

"Hahahaha" Carlos laughed loudly. His voice echoed inside the room. "I was kidding. You are so serious. Why are you blushing?" He said and continued laughing.

"It's not funny." Alex answered.

"Are you always like that? It seems like you always want to argue with me? I'm sure you also have male friends. I guess they are worse than me." Carlos

It is true that Alex has many male friends but no one among them asked her such vulgar questions. They respect her, maybe because she is famous in her school and the fact that she is a Lopez.

"Why is your face so red?" Carlos asked. He then check the bottle of beer he gave to Alex earlier and was surprised to see that it is now empty.

"When did you drink this?! I thought you are not drinking tonight? I told you to try drinking a little, not to get drunk." He said. His statements make Alex confused. He sounds angry but based on his facial expression, he doesn't look serious.

"The taste is not bad. It's actually not my first time to try beer. I had a sip before from my friends. I won't get drunk with just a bottle." Alex

Carlos smirked with what she said.He then started drinking. "I planned for us to go to a club tonight. I thought it would be more interesting to spend our night around girls, you know. But now, I think staying here is not a bad idea. At least we can talk."

"Whatever!" Alex got the bottle opener which Carlos used a while ago and opened another bottle of beer.

"Are you sure you want to drink more? You said you have a class tomorrow. Don't blame me if you got drunk." Carlos warned.

"There is a school event tomorrow so students don't need to attend our regular classes. I can skip going to school." Alex explained.

"Oooh! Let's get drunk tonight then. Deal?" Carlos

"Only if you promise to keep a distance from me. No touching and no kissing." Alex

"Hahahaha! You're the one who kissed me. We are bros, don't worry, I always keep that in mind." Carlos

"Bros." Alex repeated. She then looked down on the floor to hide the bitterness she feels. She got the bottle of beer and started drinking again.

"Don't drink too much. I don't want to take care of a drunken lesbian. If you're a girl, I would love to, but the problem is you're not." Carlos

Alex can't take it anymore. She got up from her seat and stood in front of Carlos who is now looking so confused. She touched his cheeks with both hands and put her face so close to his.
