"Do you girls want some Sugar Cloud?" Uncle asked which we nodded without hesitating.

"Two for them." Uncle said and took out his handbag. The Merchant Elf then nodded and then pulled some strings.

"May I see you hands, young ladies?" The Elf said. We looked at Uncle and he just nodded so we do as what we're told. The Elf tied a string to each one of us and we saw how the Sugar Cloud is really floating. 

" It's really floating, Uncle!" I said to Uncle still full of amazement. I pulled the string downward and pinched a piece of Sugar Cloud and ate it. It's so soft and yummy sweet!


"Wow!" Scarlett said full of amazement as she plays around with it. I would tell her to eat it, but she didn't need to because she won't get much from it. Hmmm. Does that mean that they can't taste it too? I'll ask that later when I had the chance.

We walked around more and there are alot of stores we went to buy products. I also bought some souvenirs and gifts for my brother since Dad said that we might go home tomorrow since his business here is done. It's a pity Mom and Dad have a lot to do right now, because Uncle Frederick needed the help because of visitors that are to come before a ceremony. Not really sure, I just heard it from the maids.

"H-how much is it..?" I asked. I'll just buy it and be on my way.

"This one right here is unique, Young Miss. Plus, this was created by a really powerful magician! Thus this is special! But since I seen a potential in you and I feel this is destined for you. I'll give it for 700 coppers! This was really a book cost 1 silver and 500 copper but I am giving it to you half the price!" I nodded. Oh. So this book was really expensive, but 700 coppers for this book is still...

"Uhmm who is the author of this book?" I'm really skeptical about this, but he said he's giving me half the price. This is surely a scam. He paused and think for a bit before smiling creepily again.

"The one who made this is the one and only famous magician of the whole Kentein! The Archmage of Royal Palace, Sir Fenwick Dorchen!"

"Are you sure, sir? It seems you're lying and another thing, the materials used in making this book are not good. I think the cost of production of this book is only 70 copper---" as I'm examining it, he suddenly pulled it away from me and a page was torn.

"You! You destroyed one of my merchandise, kid! Do you have 2 silver to pay for this?!" I looked at him eyes wide as he grinned. What?!

" I didn't torn it! It was you who suddenly pulled it away! Why are you making me pay!" 

"Huh?! Why would I do that to my one merchandise? Books are expensive. Why would I waste it?" He said grinning. This guy! What a total fraud! He's a disgrace as a person who works in a bookstore!

"Because it's fake!" I said to him. He shook his head and raised the book showing me the torn part.

"This is a clear evidence. You should pay up kid. If not, I'll get you arrested and you'll be sold off as a sla---" while he was talking, someone took the book away. 

"Evidence? Arrested? Who are you referring to?" I suddenly felt relieved when I saw Uncle Fenwick. How come I didn't think of it! Uncle is here!

"Huh?? Who are you? Are you one of this kid servant? If so, pay up! This kid destroyed a 5 silver worth of book." I was about to complain to him when Uncle stopped me.

"5 silver? For THIS book? Why is that?" Uncle adked. I looked outside and saw guards ready to enter.

"This book is made by the Archmage of Royal Palace, Sir Fenwick. Thus the price of 5 silver!" He arrogantly said. I heard Uncle laighed. It was not a happy one but a rather cold and mocking one. Uncle then removed the hood covering he's face.

"Oh really? This is one of my work?" 

The guy, looking at Uncle's face fell down to his butt on the ground.

"S-Sir Archmage Fenwick..." The Old Guy is fully shocked as he look up to Uncle who have a serious look at his face. Uncle made a sign and the guards came in.

"Thoroughly search everything in this store. Check if there's any illegal books and fake books being sell here. Then have him arrested for scamming and framing one of the royal family. After the festival is when his judgement will took place." Uncle declared. The guards immediately do as what they are told. Uncle then turned around to me and kneeled and he patted my head.

"Luxiain, you go out first and wait with Scarlett. We'll settle this out first." Uncle said to me smiling warmly.

She accepted her faith, but the ones up above have different plan. Reborn into a different world, what will be her faith?

Luxiain had a difficult life, she was considered as different and thus isolated by many. When her time came to an end, she unexpectedly heard voices. She wasn't able to pay attention to it fully, until later, she was reborn. To a whole different place with a new life and beginnings, where she retained her previous memories.

Daven had run to his room and started to go through the basic information about the mage and etherano. 

Magic in Earth Land is located inside the body of living organisms. In some races, Magic occurs in all individuals, but only 10% of humankind uses it. 

 Magic can be divided into two main classifications:

Caster Magic : It is Magic which, as the name suggests, is generated and expelled from the caster's body, as opposed to Magic done through the use of a weapon or outside source.

Some example of this magic are Different Slayer magic, Elemental make magic, etc.

Holder Magic : It is Magic that requires a Mage to employ an external source to be produced.

Some examples of these magic are celestial spirit magic, equip magic, holder magic, card magic, rune magic, etc.


Then he looked over the array which he had to inlay on himself through his magic. 

There was also some mention of Etherano in the book.

It mentioned ," Ethernano dwells inside all living organisms and throughout the atmosphere. Nobody knows when Magic began, or how Ethernano originated.

 To utilize Magic, a mage must use their power. Ethernano is the source of Magic Power for all Mages. Every Mage has a "container" inside their body that determines the limits of their Magic Power. This container is based on the physical strength and physique of the mage. 


 If the case becomes empty, Ethernano will come from the atmosphere and enters the Mage's body and after a while, their Magic Power is restored. 

Living organisms cannot live in areas of extremely concentrated Ethernano, as it apparently has detrimental effects upon the structure of the body.



He had slept already while reading the book and noone bothered to wake him up as he was tired from his practice in the clearing.


Daven had spent most of his time pn the book and only left it alone when Makarov and Laxus were heading back to Magnolia Town. 

Although they might fight each other on small matters the two are close friends and often back each other when others try to bully them or something else.


They both regard each other as their best friends and also a member of the family.

It can be evident especially since they almost she'd some tears during the farewell. 

Although Daven was an adult in the past life, he had fused with the soul of a kid which made him go through the similar emotional outbreaks a kid experience in his childhood. 

He controls most of his actions but the fusion of two souls imprinted some things a child possess. 


This fusion gave him an advantage too. The curiousity of a child and diligence of an adult were the greatest trait Daven currently possessed.


After they left, he tried to inlay the magical array three times and failed. 


It had been more than a week since Daven started his magic training, yet he still hasn't managed to complete the inlay process.


So he asked his father to get him more books and he could know where he was having a problem.

And his father brought some books about introduction, ways and theory about magics.

His father also mentioned that a mage must be smart or else he cannot be powerful in the future. The books will help him get a better grasp of magic. 


As he skimmed through the books a certain details mentioned attracted his attention.


He noted that there are some mention about the magic spells.


Each Magic spell has a specific formula through which gets incorporated on the array bit by bit. 

The more a mage masters a spell the quicker he could release it and a true master of spell doesn't require any array . All he need is a will to control and manipulate the magic to do his bidding.


These formulas of magic are the pathways to direct the flow of magic and type of magic. They are also amplifiers. 


For if a master knows how to use magic without array and seals then when he apply the array , the power is greatly  amplified.


To know more about these things, you can venture into the rune magic which details about what various arrays and runes in magic depicts.


Daven had spent another week to fully understand what was there in those books and he hadn't tried to inlay the primary array even once in this duration.

After he learnt everything he could from those books, he tried it once under his mother's presence and failed.


This failure helped him understand where he was having a problem.


He put the array around his body and let the magic in his container flow through it and circulate throughout the body. 


This way he could use magic from any part but he had obstructed the way for etherano to enter his magic container.


This made the circuit incomplete and the recharge route is forgotten by him. It has become a one way route instead of two way. 


But this time, he knew where he was having a problem and wasn't disappointed by the failure.


When he told about the problem he faced to his mother she gave him a smile and told him that She knew it already. Even his father knows about it.


This made Daven's childish nature surface and started to throw tantrum because his parents tricked him.


All it took was a light whip to grab Daven and use the light's soothing effect to calm him. This showed Daven that Claire had great control of her light magic as she didn't even use the magic array.


" This is your first step Daven. Now you know the importance of knowledge in the path of magic so you won't neglect your study and focus in this area too.

You are strong physically but you sometimes neglect the required bookish knowledge a mage must grasp to control his magic effectively. 


You look at your uncle Gildarts. He doesn't focus in his magic control and cause destruction wherever he goes. 

Do you want to follow and be like him?" Although she asked with a smile her eyes showed something otherwise. 


If he dared to agree now, he would suffer the wrath of his mother and his father wasn't anywhere nearby to help him too. 


He immediately said he didn't want to and rushed away to his room in case his mother's mood changes.


Currently he hasn't completed the primary magic array which can help him recover his magic and spiritual energy quicker hence he had to wait for three days for his next attempt.


During this time, Daven started to take note of the various magic array generated when s mage utilises a certain magic. 


He was attracted towards the rune magic and decided to learn as much as as he could before meeting the old man.


On the third day, he completed the first step and successful condensed the primary magic array. 


Now he can mobilise magic and all that is left out is the start training in magic spell.

The very next day, Daven and Ardent vis shadow travel arrived at the doorstep of Magnolia's famous guild, Fairy Tail.

And as soon as they arrived, Daven rushed towards yhr door and headed inside. Inside the guild, there was total chaos.


The Fairy tail guild was having another one of it's famous All out guild brawl. 


Daven saw this kind of thing for the first time and his father who had arrived there with him just smiled softly at the total chaos. 


He then pulled Daven towards the lone old man who sat at the chair by the bar.

He looked at all the brokrn things and cried faintly about how much he had to spend to repair and change them. 


When the duo father and son were just a few metres away from Makarov he sensed their presence and greeted them with a kind elderly smile.


" Look at who we have here, it is young Daven. So you finally completed the process. You sure took your time. It was nearly two week since I gave you the primary array. " Makarov said.

Daven was sad that he took so long since Laxus told him it took him only five days to complete the process. 


He felt he was weak and less talented than laxus and may have disappointed his grandfather figure with his delay.


It was his fatger who came to his rescue and explained," I and Claire thought it would do well to stress the importance of knowledge for a mage and we didn't help him directly pointing him a few books to go through. " 


Makarov was shocked by this discovery internally but didn't show it to the two. He then asked" So it was all young Daven's effort. It seemed you worked really hard to become a mage if it only took you two weeks to master the array implant.


Now, let's not delay it any further and head for the guild library to get your first Magic. " 


He jumped down from the chair and then took the two towards the guild library.
