- Maddie... - I listen to a distant voice coming closer to me while repeating my name over and over again!.. Maddie! - suddenly I feel like someone grabs me by the shoulders and starts shaking me while yelling - Madison!!
Today I don't want to go to school- I stammered while I turn around and cover my head with the blankets.
-Maddie, classes start today and there are only 15 minutes left before you are in, wake up now! Someone orders me while pulling me out of bed to wake up
- but what?! Why didn't my alarm clock go off?! - I scream out loud as I get up from the floor and start running around my room in search of my uniform, but I stop doing this when she hears some laughter behind my back, so I turn around and discover my best friend Len, dressed in a beautiful sky blue knelt dress along with white gladiator sandals and a hat.
So I think, she's not dressed in school clothes. And that's when I realize, that it was all a joke and that there are no classes!
- liar! It was just a trick of yours to wake me up from my precious sleep!
- hahaha - laughs my friend as she sits on the bed - you are right, the truth is there are no classes but I cannot allow you to lock yourself up in this room for another day. - says my friend while she finishes laughing- Besides, you've been locked up in this room all summer vacation, you have to leave."My best friend exclaimed as she stood and stared at my eyes as she said the following - and that's why my friend, I've come here.
Go, take a shower and switch, or at least make yourself decent to leave, I'll be back in 30 minutes and swear that if you're not ready Troy will burn, so hurry up! "Ordered my best friend's madwoman as she left my room.
So reluctantly I went to my bathroom, I took a shower and got dressed.
Once I finished doing the above I went down to the living room, where I found my parents, my two brothers, and my best friend chatting excitedly.
- good morning! - greeting as I gave them my best smile
Ohh! A monster!! - screamed my younger brother as he looked at me with a terrified face, shut up Liam! - I ordered while I dedicate a look of death to my younger brother's rude.

Len told your mother and I that they were planning to go shopping, and later they were planning to go to the party that Gregory is giving at his house tonight, and we're all in favor of you going, but before you have something to eat, you can't go on an empty stomach. - says my father as he turns the page of his newspaper

- Yes dad, thanks for letting me go I answer while I sit down to eat
-Okay, then let's eat -said my dad while taking the first bite of his plate
After the family breakfast, Len dragged me out of my house and got me into the truck of his older brother, Carlo, who dropped us off at the mall and then left saying that he had things to do but that he would come back in 3 hours for us.
So first we went to the cinema to see a movie, then we went to visit all the stores and finally, we bought some things.
Then my friend suggested that we start something, to which I gladly agreed because my feet were already starting to hurt from so much walking.

We were on our way to the fast-food area when suddenly, I bumped into something and ended up falling on my back.
Everything was so sudden that I didn't have time to react, so I just closed my eyes and waited to hit me on the ground, but the impact never comes, and instead, I just feel like two strong arms hold me up and put me on my feet.
Then I open my eyes, and I discover a very attractive boy. He is taller than I, but only by one head, he´s athletic, and his hair is dark brown and curly, but I cannot see him well, as he is wearing a cap and dark glasses.

- Are you OK?" - that strange boy asks, making me come back to reality.

- yes, yes, sorry I haven't paid attention to where I was walking and ended up bumping into you - I say sorry.

- no problem, you don't need to tell me about yourself, you know, you can call me- says that boy as he gives me a warm smile.

-ok, again thank you so much for preventing me from falling - I say while I blush - by the way, I'm called Madison Mc Cartney, and you? "I ask while I watch him a little more."

-But how stupid I am, where are my manners? My name is Conrad,
Conrad O' Brien, but you can call me just Conrad.

-Well, just Conrad, it was a pleasure to meet you, thank you again for saving me."
I have to leave, maybe we'll see each other again someday. Goodbye! - I say goodbye to him as I start to walk to where Len is, who watches us curiously from a clothing store.
-see you soon Maddie - says Conrad as he starts to walk. But before he disappears completely from my field of vision, I can see that he's smiling on the side, and he has a friend
As if he were remembering something funny.
I end up downplaying his importance, and I start walking towards the store where Len is, who watches me "covertly" from a sideboard.
- you have to tell me everything now, says my best friend as she shakes me by the shoulders - who was that extremely handsome boy who looks like a supermodel? Where do you know him from? What's your name? Got his number? - asks my friend without stopping - wait, wait, wait, are you going out? Are you a couple? Answer!!
- take slow Len, you're worse than the mouse speedy Gonzalez when he said "go and go, up and up".
And to answer your questions, he's just a stranger that I bumped into by accident.  I didn't know him until 2 minutes ago when I bumped into him. His name is Conrad. I don't have his number, we're not dating, and we're not a couple.
"All right, if you say so." - says my friend, not very convinced- but I have the feeling that this will not be the only time you meet him... They may even become more than just strangers - my friend thinks as she makes up a whole story.

Sometimes I think that my friends should be movie writers because they invent each more extraordinary story than TV dramas.
In the end, I finally gave her by her side, pretending that I am listening to her, while she continues to tell me her stories.

Hours later, Scott came to pick us up at the mall and drove us to my house, where Len, Nath, Meg, and I arranged to go to the party later.
Around 8:00, the boys came to pick us up, and finally, we went to the party.

 
Cedren: "Well according to my parents, they are going to have someone here within the next two days to help out. That is the soonest they can get anyone here. According to this letter, they are sending my brothers second in command. He is incredibly good and takes direction well."
Nuvaro: "I will admit, I was not expecting your brother's second in command." 
Nuvo Hact: "Wow, that is impressive. Even for this family, that appears to be quite the treat apparently. I should take it as a compliment, yes?" 
Cedren: "I guess so. They appear to be overly excited about us having a set of triplets. Even my brother seems to be overjoyed or he wouldn't have agreed to sending his second in command." 
Nuvaro: "So your brother sent his second in command to help you out. Should I be jealous or overjoyed?" 
Cedren: "You should definitely be happy about it my love. He does not send his best people on a whim. And besides, I am his twin sister. That is the thing most people never get to understand, is the connection we share." 
Nuvaro: "You're right. I do tend to forget your part of a twin set. And that it is not common here. It always throws me off." 
Nuvo Hact: (He began laughing slightly at the banter between his son and daughter in law.) Heck son, I forget that she comes from a family line that can bear more than one child. I mean you guys are a big deal now and I keep forgetting that she herself is a twin. But her brother is sending his second in command, that is good enough for me. We will prepare for his arrival tomorrow or the following morning."
 Cedren: "I am sure he will help do the clans proud. He has been one of my best friends since childhood. And please, there is no need to throw a big dinner party or anything. He will most likely want to know where the barracks are and get familiarized with everything right away and get straight to work." 
Nuvaro: "Are you sure love, he is a friend of yours after all?"
Cedren: "I am sure. I do not need all the excitement. Too much activity now is getting to be a bit too much from just some of the house guest that visit. So please for my sake, keep it simple love."
Nuvaro: "You hear that father, please keep it simple. She is begging us to. Plus, her mandatory bed rest should come first." 
Nuvo Hact: (He started sighing grumpily as though he had been defeated.) "Fine, fine, I understand. Geeze, always stifling my creativity in party planning." 
Nuvaro: "It's not about that father, she is the first to have more than one child. You should be making sure your grandchildren come into this world in good health. You get pretty excitable when throwing your welcome parties." 
Nuvo Hact: (Sighing deeply as he let the words his son just said sink in fully…) "That I can't argue son. You are right, I do get overly excited when organizing stuff, especially on the spur of the moment. I will do my best to contain myself son, I promise." 
Cedren: (I laid there just chuckling to myself as I listened to their banter back and forth.) "I really do appreciate you trying. Don't worry, my friend can take direction well and he will do your clan just as proud as my own."
      Nuvaro walked up to Cedren and wrapped his arms around her. Laughing lightly, he helped Cedren lay back in bed and walked over to the table pouring her a glass of water and handing it to her. He then turned to his father and mother thanking them and asked his mother to bring in some bread or fruit. His mother smiled saying she would be happy to as his father walked out saying he would go and have a bed prepped in the barracks for the guest. We smiled saw them both off and relaxed back on the futon laid on the floor. He sat me up slightly, then laid me against himself. He caressed my hair as he slightly as he sniffed me once again with soft growls. I purred softly in response, slowly falling asleep against his chest. Noticing she had fallen asleep against him; he rubbed his chin along her neck softly. 
      He smiled as he reached down rubbing her belly ever so softly. He gently lifted her up, pulling some pillows under her so she was leaning against something soft. He then slowly got up and made sure she had a blanket over her. Before leaving, he put the water on a small table next to the fireplace within her reach. Leaving the room, he headed toward the dining room area where he met his mother with the dried fruit. She handed her son the dried fruit with a smile. He thanked his mother and turned to head back toward his room. Placing the dried fruit by the water pitcher, he checked his wife one more time and headed to the barracks where his father had gone to check on bed situation for the guest that would be arriving soon. After a few minutes, he was at the gates of the barracks, he hollered out to his father as he arrived. 
Nuvaro: "Father are you out here?"
 Nuvo Hact: "I am son, just come on in. I explained a little bit to the troops about there being someone from Cedren' s village coming to help out." 
Nuvaro: "You did? That is great, how much did you let them know about?" 
Nuvo Hact: "Just the bare basics. I thought I would leave the further explanation up to you. But I can help explain further if you would like." 
Nuvaro: "That would be helpful, by the way, did we have a spare bed, or do we need to bring one in?" 
Nuvo Hact: "Do not worry son. We had plenty of empty beds. Seems our regiment is down by at least a dozen recruits this time. But that is fine. The young ones have yet to finish growing up enough to join." 
Nuvaro: "That is true. Hopefully Cedren' s friend can help relieve some stress and get the troops in top shape in no time. Have his bed be put in the officer's quarters. Then we will go from there." 
Troops: "Yes sir. As you say." 
     The troops were off and running as they got things ready for his arrival. One could only hope things would go smoothly from now on. Nuvaro seemed to finally relax some as the thought of so much added stress would be alleviated some. As Nuvaro prepped for the arrival, back in Cedren' s home village, her brother and his friend were prepping to head out. Gathering all the things necessary for an extended stay on his friend's behalf. 
Cedro Taliesian: "Well now, she will be surprised to see her brother now will she not?" 
Ren Talis: "You are always too worked up. You know damn well your sister will be glad to see you and me. Hell, we all grew up together. She is like my own sister as well you know." 
Cedro Taliesian: "Do not go thinking I forgot already. I know better than anyone. It is just been a couple of years since I see her and then there was that thing with the traitor girl in their village. I just hope showing up for a few days will make her smile." 
Ren Talis: "You know it will. Stop worrying and let us get a move on. The sooner we get things finished the sooner we head out." 
Cedro Taliesian: "You are right. As always, that is why I made you second in command. But the man you have trained to help with your job has done everyone proud. That is why I agreed to let you go and help my sister out."
 Ren Talis: "I would have gone and helped anyway without your say so. Just so you know."
       They both laughed as they finished their preparations. Before heading out they gave one last report to Cedro and Cedren' s parents and sent a bird ahead letting them know they would be there within the next two days. Heading out of their village, they began their journey to his sister's place. Wanting a small feast of their own when they got there, they hunted along the way. After all, the thought of feeling like a free loader just did not sit right with Cedro. As planned, they arrived just shy of two full days later. Cedro was in hopes that one of the first people he would see would have been his sister, but that was not the case. Nuvaro was on the main steps straight away to greet the two of them and guide them back to his wife. And once again, Nuvaro and Cedren' s room seemed to get smaller as everyone gathered around. Cedren' s face lit up as soon as she seen her brother.

The sheer number of Beast-kin had dropped due to the fear from the human population. But hidden in pockets scattered throughout the county of Islatenne Empire, are those seeking others like themselves. Many, many Beast-kin males have tried taking human females as mates, but all the half-breed children never live to see their first birthday, this mix just doesn’t seem to work. Humans just don’t possess enough of the animal side of themselves anymore past a basic survival instinct. Besides, almost all the human females they tried to breed with usually died during or just after giving birth. The sheer size of the child was most certainly a death sentence to almost all human females. Now with the issue of few females pressing harder than ever, most Beast-kin are in danger of dying out in their areas. Most of their mannerisms border that of the pack mentality in most proper Beast-kin tribes. They must have a mate, so what female Beast-kin remain are forced to be the mate of more than one suitor. Making most males desperate to treat them as breading stock instead. Most of the males have become no better than the humans that took so many females away, basically treating them as slaves. Not even regarding them as equals. Now with this massive shift of things, it’s almost as if hundreds of centuries of progress have been lost to the ages. Including the prized traditions that just about every tribe held to at one point in time. Making those who believe themselves to have the power, seemingly rewrite things how they want. Therefore, bringing back an age of slave casts. And it doesn’t seem to matter if your male or female, Beast-kin or human. If your deemed slave cast, you will be treated as though you were disposable, nothing but a garbage item. Most females discovered in the bigger cities are never freed, for if they are not owned by someone for their ill-gotten purposes, the fate is that of breeder, and breeder only.  The females destined to be nothing more than breeders are bid upon as though they were just a piece of furniture. The highest bigger obviously got to breed for a child and paid a large sum to do so. In this new world, you are of one of three classes, Intellect, Warrior, or Slave. The Intellect class comprised of mostly scholars of various varieties, studying the old ways, make note of heritage, and battle strategies. Warrior classes went on the front lines to protect their people from any danger, trained in various forms of combat. Slaves were nothing more than those who served others for whatever their purpose was or is. From birth, you were distinguished through your eyes and markings alone. Those alone determined your status from birth. For many the fate of their heritage could be a devastating one or a rewarding one.

My name is Leah Coleman I'm 18, 5'6, I have a twin brother named Cole but we go to different schools, and an older sister Arianne who is 21. You must be wondering why my dad named my brother Cole Coleman it just makes sense to him I guess? I go to Bridgewood High with my best friend Stephanie and her brother Xavier Gabriel.
"You guys should get your butts down here now 'cause I'm leaving in one minute" I yell into their house and sit in the driver's seat to wait.
Then Stephanie runs out and shouts "wait you impatient little monkey" and jumps into the shotgun seat and I smack behind her head and mutter "idiot" and the so very mighty Xavier comes out in all his amazing glory slowly walking to my car like a model on the runway- and look one minute is gone.
"Bye Xavier" Steff and I shout while I'm driving away and once Xavier snapped out of his 'I'm awesome' stage he starts running down the street shouting "WAIT!! WAIT!! STOP!! LEAH!!" and I stop at the next street in front of the school gates and put my head out the window
Xavier comes out a few seconds later and glares at me and Steff, walks up to the car and says "I told you to wait but you didn't"
I reply " yes I did" and gesture to the school gate in front of us "I stopped in front of the school gate, so technically I did stop"
Then Steff butts in "yeah Xavier, she did stop and also it's your fault you said stop but not where" 
He frowns slightly " true, but I'm sure you know what I meant" and Stephanie shrugs
I finally say "okay let's get to school, I don't want to be late"
Then we strut into school like we own the place but Ms. Davis yells at us for walking too slow but we still strut anyways to our lockers and we put in our codes and get our books and we run to Mr. Allison's class.
I swear this man gives out detention slips like paper

Whatever, we get to class a second before the late bell is rung and breathe a sigh of relief when we find out the teacher isn't in class- scratch that here he is. Let the boredom begin. Yay!

After three hours of torture known as classes we head for break, not lunch but break like when you buy snacks or eat snacks you brought from home. I brought out some snacks and start eating. Xavier brought a ham and cheese sandwich with soda while Steff brought some carrots, an apple and fruit juice; Steff and I always bring sort of healthy snacks and eat junk food during lunch cause face it it's better that way so we maintain the body size we have I guess?
We didn't finish our snacks but stored them for later like when we are falling asleep our something like that and headed to class.

Two hours, four licorice and another juice box later we headed to lunch, today I selected two slices of pizza, a vanilla cupcake and a green apple- I like them don't blame me- the twins selected whatever they wanted and we headed to our table which is close to the popular table and sat down then Steff talks "so today during sports, some cheerleaders asked me to join the cheer squad"
I asked "what did you say"
she replies "I said yes obviously" and we squeal in delight then Xavier had to be the buzz kill "what's so awesome about being on the cheer team.
Steff smacked him at the back of his head and said "it's like having a free pass to everything"
He replies "I don't see the connection" and I say to Steff "boys are so clueless at times" and she nods in agreement and Xavier mutters a 'whatever' and runs his hand through his hair
Marcy walks down to our table and asks Xavier "you look like crazy Xavier, fix whatever you did to your hair '' and his cheeks turn slightly pink then he glances in my direction then she leaves the table to hers while shaking her head and smiling lightly.
*skip to ten minutes before lunch is over*
Like most high schools there's a slut or queen bee and so as our school and her name is McKenzie Hollister, she is not a slut -no she's more or less the queen bee, most popular, she pretty much has the whole school wrapped around her perfectly manicured fingers *cough* claws *cough* she can start a fight and get out with no trouble while the other person gets into a shit- load of trouble. Excuse my words. And she approaches or table while swaying her hips and sits very close to Xavier
"Hey Xavier" she twirls her hair- everybody knows she has a crush on Xavier except from him of course because he thinks she's weird.
He replies dryly "hey McKenzie"
She smiles and flutters her eyelashes  "so Xavier do you want to meet me um... after school tomorrow at the park by 5"
He replies "sure" she gets up with an evil smile and looks at me with a face that says 'I have what you want'
Yeah sure I have a crush on my best friend's brother, not that big of a deal, Steff knows and looks at me with them eyes- she knows about my crush but I shake my head and try to mask my emotions. Xavier looks at me almost questioningly and plaster a fake smile and say "Xavier I'm happy for you, enjoy your da-hanging out with McKenzie" and I continue with my food.
My phone buzzes in my pockets

S: r u good
L: Lol yeah, why won't I be?
S: well dumbass over there is going on a date w McKenzie and I saw your face- a flash of emotion u could say
L: you're seeing things again, I'm fine
S: i know what i saw....okie lets say ur fine, dont u feel jelly even a little bit
L: I am fine...also I'm not 'jelly' what's that?
S: jealous dont act stupid w me
L: I can't say I'm not jealous, I mean she actually asked him out but I'm here being shy and shii....heck I'm closer to him than she and I can't do it
S: it's different w u cause y'all r close which means it would be more awkwardish lol
I roll my eyes, like what she said helped at all
L: Tch, you're of no help whatsoever
S: that's ur opinion baybeeee

I turn off my phone and quickly finish up my food before the bell rings then I head to the library.

"Just be thankful too because daddy called Lie Ruge to say the closing speech or else I would have beaten senses into the two of you",
"Are you sick in the head?How can you say that you will beat senses into Ge'er and I?Can you listen to yourself,do you even know what Ge'er is capable of?You should never say such gibberish when Ge'er is sober or else I can't imagine what will happen to you?",Xiao Bai warned her.
"I don't think you still have the time to talk to me because everyone is expecting your drunk best friend to address everyone present here today.I think you should worry about that",Changle smiled happily.

"Ok,I'm so glad you are alright but don't forget to receive the normal punishment for deceiving me",Xiao Bai whispered back.The guy was quietly watching their exchange,he found them very cute.He was very mesmerized by their beauty.Too bad Xiao Bai interrupted his fantasy,"Hello,thank you so much for helping my best friend out.We will make sure to return the favour if we ever come across each other again",Xiao Bai said while escorting Lie Ruge to where Changle and her friend were nursing their wounds.Firefly was already there waiting for them."Boss I'm sorry,I was not able to protect you.Punish me for my incompetence",Firefly said sternly.
"You will have to await your punishments later on because as you can see,Ge'er is not feeling too well",Xiao Bai answered her in Lie Ruge's stead.
"I will escort the two of you out then",Firefly said.
"Who says you can leave after hurting me this badly?Just take a look at my hands and my legs,it is all bruised just because of you and my beautiful face was not spared in the process",Changle said painfully.By then her father was standing close to her.
"Are you sure you can handle the consequences?As you can see,this lady standing here can be very brutal",Xiao Bai said.
"Then let me see what she can do",Changle said while raising her bruised hands to give Xiao Bai a slap but Firefly held unto her hands with force.She turned her hands to her back with force which made her cry out in pains,even her father could not bear to see his beloved daughter in pains.
"Please let go of me",Changle pleaded but Firefly exerted more pressure to her hands which made Changle cry out even louder.
"Please let go of my daughter.Xiao Bai how can you be this heartless to do this to your best friend's cousin,aren't you afraid that Lie Ruge will make you pay for it after she is sober?Please tell your bodyguard to let go of my daughter's precious hands",Lie Feitian pleaded further.
"Director Lie,who do you think Ge'er will deal with after she is sober?Is it her best friend who helped her or her cousin who had the audacity to drug her?",Xiao Bai asked with a an indifferent expression.
"We will talk about that later.So please,I'm pleading with you,tell your bodyguard to let go of my daughter's wrist",
"As long as you have learnt your lesson",Xiao Bai signalled Firefly to let go of Changle's wrist.But before Firefly relieved her of her wrist she applied just a little more pressure which gave a cracking sound.Changle scream in anguish.
"The next time you try this nonsense again,it won't be just your wrist that will get broken but if you are lucky to be alive then your whole will not be intact",Firefly threaten fiercely while escorting Lie Ruge and Xiao Bai out of the ballroom.

I look up only to find the one person thats been replaying in my f*cking mind all morning running towards me. Deborah. I stand up as she approaches me panting.. 

"I have great news! " she says 

"Which is? " I ask in confusion. 

"I finally got Gabby to open up! " she says clearly excited. 

"Really!? " I question in surprise × seriously though, how did she do it??. I want to commend her when i recall my new resolution and she fu*king disobeyed me! 

"Yeah. " she replies with a beautiful smile. 

"Why are you so sturbon Deborah!?.... I clearly warned you not to do anything!! " I shout. 

"I wasn't planing on doing anything till that last minute idea came to mind and it actually worked! " she replies. 

"I don't give a hoot if it be a last or first minute idea! You freaking disobeyed me and that's all I think i need to see to know that you're just a selfish, impatient and self centered person! " I yell in her face. 

"What!?.... You know, when I was coming here, I thought I was coming to meet a friend but I forgot you're just madres little puppet boy! 

I tired my best to save a friend and if that makes me 'selfish, impatient and self centered'!!! Then so be it! 

And to think you were my friend! " she screams back at me and makes to leave. 

"We aren't friends!! " I reply her rather coldly. 

"Oh yeah.... Mate! " she replies facing me before storming off. × oh Lord, did I go too far!? 

Sonias POV;...... 

Stupid boy with his dang British accent! Who does he think he is, talking to me like that!?... Why do I keep falling for his stupid lies!?... I thought I was getting to know him better. But he's just a bi.... 

I keep fuming till I make it Into the mansion and bump Into something hard. I look up and my entire body dies! 

"You again." He says to me and I gulp. Before me is the white skinned, red eyed boy. Madres... Second? 

"S... Sorry. " I apologize. The fartellos around him charge toward me but he dismisses them with his hand. I sit quietly on the floor as I watch them all fly away. 

"Here." he says with his deep, smooth voice. holding out his hand to me. 

"Th...Thank you. " I reply as I place my hand in his slightly cold grip. He pulls me up. 

"Follow me. " he says to me and my heart skips a beat. I stand still for a few seconds as I watch him walk ahead before I finally get the balls to follow. 

I begin to walk behind him. 

"What's your name? " he suddenly questions. 

"S.. Sonia. " I reply. 

"Sonia what? " he questions as he slows down so I can catch up with him. 

"Sonia Smith. " I reply. 

He stops at a window and I stand beside him. 

"Are you scared?" He questions and I freeze. 

"I... I... I.. " I beging to stutter. A smile plays on his face. 

"Never mind. I'm Bryan Hugswort. " he replies and his name strikes a bell. I beging to dig into my memory to place his name. 

"It seems someone dislikes our little chat. " he suddenly says while looking outside. I follow his gaze and my eyes fall on Desmond who is equally staring at us. 

"See you later. " Brayan says as he turns and begins to walk away. 

~who is he!? 

I look down again and Desmond is no longer there. I have the free time to myself. Gabby, Tori and Rachel could be anywhere but, I don't wanna go look for them. I need some alone time. 

I begin to walk randomly with no particular destination in mind. Memories slowly creep into my mind.

"Give it back! " I scream at Oscar my second eldest brother as he's taken my phone. 

"Awww. He sent an 'I love you'! " he screams reading out Harry's message. 

"Why don't we tell him how much we love him too! " Andrew my third eldest brother suggests. 

"Stop! " I scream running after Oscar whoes way faster than i am. 

"I thought you're a runner. Now's the time to prove it! " Oscar taunts and I try to catch up with him. 

I grab his jacket and he throws my over to Andrew. I scream for fear of them smashing my phone. 

I let go of Oscar and begin to run after Andrew. 

"Dear Harry, I really wanna let you know that, you suck! " Andrew reads out as he taps away on my phone. No doubt that's what he's typing. 

"You! " I scream as I catch up with him and he throws my phone to Jason my eldest brother who then hurries Into our tree house. 

I make to go after him when Andrew grabs me and Oscar sits on my back. I keep screaming for them to let me go but they keep laughing. 

"And also to inform you that your fashion style is so outdated. You smell like stinky cheese and your jokes are so lame! " Jason reads out as he also taps on my phone. 

"Don't forget to add the fact that his body is too feminine for a male!" Oscar screams and Jason begins typing again. 

"Please don't do it! " I beg my eldest brother. 

"Oops.. Too late." He replies. 

"Mom!!" I scream out to the only person who could save me from these boys. 

"He replied! " Jason screams. 

"What did he say!? " Andrew asks. Struggling to keep me in place. 

"What did I do? " Jason reads out.. 

"He's asking what his offense is" Jason informs. 

"I don't know! It's over between us! Don't ever call me! " Jason reads out again as he types. 

"Jason stop!! " I scream.. 

"He sent a broken heart emoji" Jason screams laughing. 

"Mom!! " I call out to my only hope again and the boys all start laughing. 

"Come on now boys. Quite troubling your little sister. " My mother soft voice calls through the back yard door as her gracious self appears hold a tray of cookies. 

"But mom, it makes the weekend worth it! " Oscar says finally standing off me. 

Jason climbs down the tree house and hands me my phone. 

"Good luck fixing that. " he taunts. 

"Mmm cookies! " Andrew salivates.~That boy and his sweet tooth! 

"I so hate you guys! " I scream. 

"Aww... We love you too. " They all reply in a sync and my mom starts laughing. 

"You know, you'll have to start treating her nice soon. Cause someday, she's gonna be too busy with her own family and you'd all be left missing each other. " my mom says. 

"I won't miss them for a single second if I have the chance to do away with them! " I reply. 

"Oh you will little ma'am. Nothing would ever sperate us. You're stuck with us till the end of time! " Jason shouts after me as I storm into the house trying to he hold of Harry.

I recall this beautiful moment and I feel dead inside. How could I ever think I wouldn't miss them!.... I miss my brothers! I don't mind spending my whole life scream at their annoying ways. As long as I'm still with them. 

I pay attention to my environment and I find I'm by the lake Desmond brought me to yesterday. 

With a blind mind, I take off my jacket and shirt and I'm left in my bra and shorts. 

I walk into the water with a blank mind. I'm too far from the shore when I finally realize.... 

~what am I doing!? I can't swim!

The cold breeze in my face, clinging tightly to my bare arms. My arms wrapped around my torso in an attempt to keep me warm. Tears streaming down my face as memories of Harry's cruel betrayal flood my mind. Of all days, he chose my birthday to hurt me. 

My red pumps creating a gentle click sound with every contact it made with the tarred road. Creating the only sound the night breeze brings to my ears. Asides my sobs and the distant barks of the neighborhood dogs. 

My third sense is sudden activated as I sense I'm being followed. I smell danger. Walking alone on such desolate streets doesn't seem like the best idea I could have come up with. I wasn't thinking straight when I made that choice. I should have called my driver to come get me!. 

This creepy feeling becomes more intense and I decide to do the one thing I know I'm good at; run!. 

I throw my purse and phone away as I begin to run in frenzy I feel something hot on my trail, when I look back, all I see is dark fog. The more reason to run faster. 

The road fairly lit by moonlight, my heart in my mouth and prayers of help and mercy escaping my lips. 
Finally, I hear music playing from loud speakers. I'm close to civilization!. 

I keep running frantically. One of my pumps gone. Soon I see a club in sight with a few people outside. I begin to scream for help when a figure suddenly appears before me. In fear, I make to run in the opposite direction but another figure is right behind me. 

Next thing I know; i'm surrounded by darkness.

Jenrick is sitting at the chair where Piper is beside him sleeping. Jenrick remembers how he met this girl on the bus before.

He didn't know that he would fall in love with her. How he can't fall in love with her? She is smart, kind and pretty. She is too good for him.

Jenrick stands up when someone knocks on the door and it reveals that it was Zaizen.

"Piper is sleeping, have a sit," Jenrick said and he lends him his chair. Jenrick yawned and he gets the chair.

He sits beside him and he stares at Zaizen. He got thin and somehow he looks peaceful. 

"Are you going to stare at me?" Zaizen said and he glances at Jenrick. Jenrick chuckle and he put his arms around Zaizen's shoulder.

"How are you?" Jenrick asked and Zaizen looks at him. He smiles a little bit and he cough.

"Good, finding myself and loving," he said while laughing, Jenrick smirk and he pats his head.

"Healing that's good. So any college plans?" 

"Maybe going to vet," Zaizen said, he has been volunteers at the animal shelter this day and his heart broke when he saw a lot of dogs, cats are getting abandon.

"Vet? That's far from what I learn about you" Zaizen chuckle and he put the fruits he bought for the princess.

"Things get change, Mr Maximillian. How she is?" Zaizen asked while staring at Piper, who is still sleeping.

"Honestly, I thought she is getting better but the opposite. She has been troubling for her breathing and the hole in her heart start to bigger. Her parents are already looking for the donor. She needs the heart transplant" Jenrick said

"I'm an organ donor and if something will happen to me, I will give her my heart,t" Za, in said that made Jenrick look at him.

"What are you saying. We will find a way to get her heart as soon as possible. Don't ever do something stupid" Jenrick said, Zaizen sighs and he messes his hair.

"I will not don't worry"

Jenrick goes to the vending machine to get some coffee and Zaizen left with Piper.

"Why are you late?" Piper said and Zaizen looks at her. He flashes a smile before he waves that made Piper giggle.

"I'm sorry, I'm just fixing myself. How are you?" Piper smile and she nodded her head.

"I am good, how about you?" Piper said while her chest is going up and down.

"Trying to be good and fine. Things get complicated because of me. I'm sorry" Zaizen said while biting his lower lip.

"Apology accepted, I know what you did is wrong but always remember that you're still my friend," Piper said, he smiles genuine and holds her hand.

"Stay alive, please. Natty already knew about your condition and she said she want you to stay alive until she gets here" Zaizen said, his tears are falling in his eyes.

He can't bear seeing Piper like this, the Piper he knew is jolly, hyper and always smiling.

"Tell Natty to go home. I miss her" Piper said, her tears are falling in her cheeks and Zaizen wipe it quickly.

"Don't cry, don't cry. It's not good for you. Natty will go home, please be strong and always pray" Zaizen said, he holds her hand tighter.

"Zaizen, be happy and always remember that no one wants to lie especially to someone important to their lives. Zaizen, I want you to be happy with Pip, Rich, Catherine, Jenrick and Natty" Piper said while smiling.

Zaizen just smiles instead of answering her. Zaizen and Jenrick say goodbye as they need to attend their graduation pictorial.

Piper smile waving their hands and she is alone with her mother smiling at them. Minutes later, her mother goes to the pharmacy to get her medicine.

Piper left alone, she gets her special that smells good. She is glad that she made her twin bought some. She gets the mini table and writes.

Piper thinks who is the first she wants to give these letters. She smiles and writes 'Richy boy'

Piper writes her first impression about him. Piper smile as she writes about her observation to Rich staring at Natty.

"That's great my daughter, what about your breathing?" 

"Earlier I can't breathe properly but now it's okay," Piper said and her mother let her do what she wants to do.
