Xue Jing only wanted to sell to someone that gave him good vibes. Good vibes were hard to define, but somehow, he felt that he wouldn't be upset if he sold his flat to Fang Zhao and the apartment was completely renovated.
Just as Fang Zhao put it, different arrangers would handle the same song differently. Different styles would come out. Everyone was equally entitled to leave their mark. Any buyer was simply a temporary custodian of the property.
Property prices in Qi'an were quite high, especially in this neighborhood. Flats that were located on the 100th floor or higher usually cost at least 10,000 dollars per square meter. There was only one penthouse apartment in the building. The entire property took up some 200 square meters, but the flat only accounted for half of it. A garden and a parking space took up the other half.
The price tag was 10 million, which was cheap compared to similar properties in the area. The market value was no less than 20 million.
One of the reasons why real estate in that neighborhood was expensive was the presence of security guards and regular patrols. Quite a few Yanzhou celebrities bought homes in the area to avoid media attention. Xue Jing had bought this place back then because he'd wanted the peace and quiet. He was no celebrity, but he was quite influential in the music industry. Many people sought him out for favors, hoping a word from Xue Jing would translate into shortcuts. Xue Jing got so fed up he moved here. "There's another reason I invited you here, besides selling you my apartment. It's entirely up to you. No pressure," Xue Jing said.
Fang Zhao had thought a favor might be attached when Xue Jing had announced his asking price. Given Xue Jing was so generous with his pricing, Fang Zhao would comply as long as it wasn't too big of a favor.
"Please continue," Fang Zhao said.
"As you know, I'm not teaching these days, focusing instead on editing and writing textbooks." Xue Jing looked at Fang Zhao. "I'm working on a book about symphonic works. I'd like to use your songs as an example."
Xue Jing was writing a textbook that analyzed symphonies and served as a how-to primer. Symphonies were an offbeat genre. Music students tended to avoid the specialty. Even though symphonies enjoyed greater prestige within the industry, they weren't too popular.
Xue Jing wasn't only concerned with turning a profit. The elders in the industry didn't bother with symphonies, but the genre had to be preserved. Xue Jing didn't want to cut and paste like previous authors. He wanted to present contemporary examples. This would require Fang Zhao to discuss his creative vision, his sources of inspiration, and some memorable moments from the creative process. In short, Xue Jing wanted Fang Zhao to pass on his knowledge and expose more students to the genre of symphonies. It would be the equivalent of a master class in written form. Of course, it was up to Fang Zhao to decide how much to reveal.
"As you know, this isn't a hit single. There won't be much money in it." Xue Jing was frank.
Fang Zhao's emergence gave Xue Jing hope. The "100-Year Period of Destruction" series probably made for the most memorable symphonic pop songs in the past century. More importantly, the series was not condescending. It took the accessible form of pop music and reached a broad audience.
Many young composers were reluctant to share their creative insight, so Xue Jing thought Fang Zhao would take his time to consider the request. Little did he expect Fang Zhao to agree immediately.
"No problem."
But Fang Zhao wasn't actually that young. He was happy to share his knowledge and pass on the lessons he'd learned from the end of days. Human life was finite, but there were no bounds to shared experience and knowledge.
Xue Jing was delighted. "Terrific. Terrific. I'll add your name to the list of consulting editors."
Textbooks in the New Era—whether in print or electronic form—identified their authors clearly. University regulations also required them to identify their editors and consulting editors.
Normally, protocol dictated that if the length of your contribution was brief and the content wasn't essential to the book, you weren't listed as a contributing editor. Xue Jing was thinking Fang Zhao probably wouldn't share at length, but the fact that he was willing to open up and share was worth applauding. Xue Jing was glad to give him credit.
"My assistant will brief you on the mechanics of contributing to the book. You could also organize your thoughts ahead of time. As for the apartment, I'll send for packers right away. I'll have all the paperwork completed and the flat vacated in three days. There's no rush in paying me. If you can't pay the full amount in one go, you can pay in installments over a few years. No hurry."
"It's OK. I can pay in full now," Fang Zhao said.
Fang Zhao left the apartment after the conversation ended. Xue Jing had him chauffeured back to Silver Wing. Fang Zhao got a call from Zhu Zhen, Duan Qianji's assistant, while en route.
"Fang Zhao, someone from Leizhou wants to use the third movement in a movie soundtrack. They don't want to buy the song outright—just license it for 30 days." In other words, there would be a moratorium on the song's release in other formats for 30 days after the film began screening in theaters.
Orders like this from another continent were rare and often translated into new opportunities.
"We haven't discussed the price yet. Chairman Duan wants to get your OK first," Zhu Zhen said.
"To use on a soundtrack? It's a production company from Leizhou?"
"Yes. The deal will help promote the song, but the production company doesn't have a great reputation."
Every continent had protectionist measures in place to shore up their own music and film industries. "Cocoon Breach" was a good example that illustrated this trend. After the song was proven to have an impact on Hull virus patients, the publicity on other continents glossed over the title of the song or made brief mention of it. The focus was on its effect on Hull virus carriers and related topics. The medical discussion took precedence, obscuring any talk of Polar Light or details about the first and second movements.
It was one thing if the two songs were merely released as songs. But the two movements were inextricably linked to a virtual idol, so they were heavily censored in Leizhou.
Media coverage of the songs in Leizhou not only buried the title of the songs and the names of the composer and production company—Polar Light wasn't mentioned at all. Few people who read the news reports searched for the songs. The first two movements also weren't available for download outside of Yanzhou.
So what Duan Qianji had in mind was using the Leizhou film as an alternative platform, even though it might be a crappy production. Given the fact that the two songs were not available for download outside of Yanzhou, they could license them for placement in films. This didn't affect their marketing plan in Yanzhou.
But Duan Qianji was worried that Fang Zhao would find the placement degrading if the film was a mediocre production just judging from appearances. He might be turned off. That was why she had asked Zhu Zhen to run the plan by Fang Zhao first before entering into negotiations.
After being briefed by Zhu Zhen, Fang Zhao thought for about two seconds. "I'd like to get a sense of the plot of the film and where exactly the song will be placed."
"I'm not entirely clear on either. Let me get back to you."
Half an hour later, Zhu Zhen sent Fang Zhao an encrypted file that outlined the plot and where the third movement would be placed.
The document also listed the names of the production company and key investors as well as the main actors.
The credits would have meant nothing to someone outside the entertainment industry in Yanzhou. But anyone from Leizhou could tell from the names of the production company and investors that the film was a shameless ploy to promote a certain star. What wass funny was that, despite their corny story lines and shitty acting, films like this did OK at the box office. People usually bitched as they watched these movies online. They knew they were crap but they couldn't resist watching. Maybe it was a form of venting.
Fang Zhao spent an afternoon watching previous releases backed by the same production company and investors. He had his answer by sundown.
"I'll sign off on this. My only request is that the third movement only be used for the scene specified. There is no leeway on this. It can only be played then."

"What the heck? You want to share my room?" said Hyunwoo, expressing a blank look. It was as if he got stabbed in the back by Jinhon Kwak. Hyunwoo was embarrassed.
On the other hand, though, Hyunwoo felt Jinhon was commendable in a way. Instead of hiding behind his shyness Jinhon came forward and expressed his wish to share Hyunwoo's room. 
Hyunwoo didn't feel sensitive to sharing the room. He was not the type of person who couldn't sleep because someone was beside him.
"Got it," said Hyunwoo, giving a green light to Jinhon's request.
Lying on the bed, they talked about various topics, and the main topic naturally revolved around Jinhon's music.
"What is your dream?"
"Well, I want to continue my music career to the end of my life. I just want to perform music with my congenial friends without worrying about anything."
"How come your dream is so simple?"
"What about your dream, then?"
"Well, my dream is to get the returns from my investment in people like you. Hahaha."
"Is that all? I think your dream is more simple than mine."
"Really? In my mind, mine is more ambitious than yours."
"That's because you don't know well enough. Do you know how difficult it is to meet people with congenial minds? And you really can't make a living unless you hit gold."
"Don't you think you should have a dream such as being a millionaire with music?" 
"Well, I can make some money enough to sustain myself. Of course, the more money, the better, but music is more important to me," said Jinhon.
Hyunwoo felt good to hear what he said. At least his passion for music was pure.
He also agreed with Jinhon's remarks that it was difficult to meet congenial friends. 
When he thought as far as that, he suddenly thought of Raymon, the black guy who lived next to his room at the lodge in Seoul while he was an employee with Space Design.
Like Jinhon, Raymon's passion for music was enthusiastic.
Come to think of it, Raymon's deep husky voice was pretty unique.
He felt Raymon, Jinhon, and Angela, his Vietnamese girlfriend would be a great mix. 
"Hey, Jinhon. Don't you want to add a singer to your music video?"
"Singer? Which one are you talking about?"
He told Jinhon about Raymon in detail. Jinhon listened to him with great interest but declined.
"Maybe next time I can do with him, but this time I want to make the music video with Angela alone."
Hyunwoo giggled at that. 

The next morning Jinhon was going out with Angela with the excuse that he wanted to have her practice to participate in his music video 'Duckling Fly' as soon as possible.
"Where are you going to take her?"
"As you know, I attend an alternative music school. So, it's equipped with good practice rooms. If I pay 200,000 won per month, I can use the room indefinitely."
"Really? Let me know when you're done with practicing. You might need some big money if you rent a recording studio."
"Well, we have a recording studio at our school. They give us a 30% discount for the students. I think I can record for 200,000 won if Angela is fully prepared. Besides, there is a dance practice room there, too."
"Great school! Good for you."
"See you later then."
Jinhon went with Angela to the alternative school, and Hyunwoo went to the animation office in Bono-dong.

Manager Kim went into the president's room, holding a USB.
"I've done a thorough analysis of it."
As if he was expecting that, the president sat on the sofa, with a notebook powered up.
Inserting the USB, Kim said, "I think we can submit two entries under our name."
BNB was the biggest video media company in Korea. It was so big and competitive that almost all the video productions for the TV networks were made by BNB, but there was a popular backlash against the company. Because of its monopolistic business practices, other video companies couldn't get access to the market, let alone their growth.
So, BNB thought of some other tricks to avoid the criticism by creating sub-companies with different names such as Q1, Skyview, and Goldview.
BNB submitted to the Talent Donation Broadcasting Company a total of four animation works under the name of its four subsidiaries, but Manager Kim mentioned only two, not four. 
"Why are there only two?"
"I guess there will be competition in the categories of social security and history, and I feel our entries have less chance of being chosen this time." 
"Competition? Which company is competing with us?"
"It's called Ani & Funny."
It was new to the president. 
"Really? Okay, then. Only submit competitive entries."
Manager Kim played two videos in a row. One of them was 'Tuti & Angelica' submitted by Ani & Funny. The animation work in the history area was produced by Skyview, which the president felt was clearly inferior in terms of its contents and video quality.
The president frowned and said, "Ani & Funny? I've never heard of it."
"Based on my research, the company was founded this year. It has just a little over ten employees, and many of them are part-timers, and the full-time staff is only six."
"How come such a company made this kind of animation work so quickly? Find out who the core players of the company are and pay a premium to scout them. By the way, did you work it out well with Producer Hwang?"
"Well, Hwang is trying to wash his hands of this deal, citing his difficult position. It looks like the selection of the final animation candidates will be made not by individuals but by the committee, starting next year."
"Is he reneging because he feels this is the final year to get kickbacks from us?"
"That might be one cause, but the problem is Reporter Jaeyol Song."
"Reporter Jaeyol Song? Who is he?"
"He's a veteran reporter with Korea Broadcasting. It seems he is covering any possible secret deal in the selection process."
"Why is the Korea Broadcasting broadcaster going around for such coverage? Does he want to get some kickbacks for that?"
"Looks like he is backing Ani & Funny."
"Damn it. Why are there so many blowflies gathering like this? Don't care about Song. Give a little more bribe to Producer Hwang. You know how big a loss we can incur when we lose a slot in their TV programs, don't you?"

"Hey, everybody. Come over here. I've got some assignments for you," said Hyunwoo, calling the kids of Ani & Funny.
Inserting the USB on the computer, he played the music and video, which featured the main song of the music video and various dancing motions.
Jinhon's song was played again, which surprised everyone there. And the dancing featured in the video was exceptional. The video had a story in itself like this: some garbage is scared when dumped at the waste site, but it gained confidence with the help of its friends and becomes the light of the world by changing to recycled products. 
Jinhon already had a detailed plan on the insertion of specific dancing portions in the music video. 
The music and dancing were very pleasant and refreshing, which suggested the natural and freewheeling style was the life of the music video.
Watching the music video material Jinhon gave him, Hyunwoo was greatly impressed.
Wow, he really did a good job. I feel it's going to be a big hit.
The Ani & Funny kids seemed to agree with him.
"Can you make it like this one?" asked Hyunwoo.
Nodding their heads, they said confidently, "Absolutely. Though it will take some time, we can make it."
Hyunwoo wanted to have this music video produced by these amateur kids. So, he made sure not only the music and dancing but also the video was made by Ani & Funny kids alone. 
They were pretty enthusiastic. When they ran into difficulties, the professional staff working with them kindly solved the problem. Thanks to their work, the Ani & Funny kids' capabilities improved daily, though the progress in their animation work was slow.
Several days later, Jinhon visited Hyunwoo's office with Angela. Another student from the alternative school accompanied them.
It had been almost 15 days since Angela, the orphaned Vietnamese girl, arrived in Korea. As she, along with her friends, visited the main office in Bono-dong every weekend, they knew each other very well. 
In particular, Angela was popular among them because of her pure and beautiful image. Though Jungah was pretty, she was nothing, compared to Angela. 
"Finally, we're done with recording the music video."
"Already? In about 15 days?"
"Angela is a genius. After listening to the music, she instantly memorized it and showed the appropriate feelings and mood perfectly," said Jinhon, praising her.
With hearty laughter, Hyunwoo said, "Ha ha ha. Got it, dude. As you are praising her, let me listen."
When the music was played, the staff in the office opened their eyes wide. They looked at each other full of surprise as if they couldn't believe it because of Angela's clear and dreamlike voice which perfectly matched with the song 'Duckling Fly.' 
The peculiar sound coming out of the milk bottle musical instrument was also exceptionally appealing. The rhythm itself was very exciting, which made the listeners dance to its tune before they knew it.
Added to the tune was the singing of the duet Jinhon and Angela who made a fantastic harmony, which was another great attraction of the song. 
Even when the music was over, Hyunwoo made an absent expression for a moment until he was prodded by Jinhon.
"Can you play the next song?" demanded Jinhon.
"Oh… I forgot. Sure."
Hyunwoo refreshed his mind and played other versions of the music video.
Like Jinhon said, every version was different. For example, one version was serious while the other was exciting. There were four versions int total.
Hyunwoo liked all of them, the fruits of Jinhon and Angela's toil and sweat, but he liked the fourth one best, which Jinhon made light and playful.
In particular, he felt good about that portion in which they laughed playfully at each other. 
After enjoying the music videos, Hyunwoo thumbed up and praised them, "This is really the best I've ever seen. Yea, the best music video!"

Rias and her perigee see Issei killing one monster after a another.
Dungeons monsters are mostly dragons.
How can he kill such powerful monsters one after another so fast, asked Kiba in wonder?
After killing thousands of of monsters our level reaches level 400+.
We reach at a place where the boss is supposed to be, after searching sometime we see the boss of the dungeon and inspect it

After killing all the monsters, i asked all of them, so what level have all of you reached?
I am level 428 said Rias.

Asia said nervously, i am level 401.
Kiba said, Koneko is level 405 and i am level 411.

We feel little light headed, but mostly we are fine.
It took around 6 hour for us to clear a dungeon.
As you open your status windows you see free stat points, as you may have all ready figured out but these stat points can be added to your existing stats and and make them stronger.
Before we finish for today i want to ex-plane how to help you distribute them well according what you want to make your main stats.
What to you mean by that said Rias?
Rias, with leveling up you should have gained 1650 stat points am i right?
Since your main attack are revolved around support, strategy and magic, i recommend you to distribute your stats as followed, and i only recommend if you want to do it differently then to it that is your chose.

Distributing like that will help her unlock stats that will increase her all ready existing,main stats while not leaving her other attributes unbalanced.
What ever you do, to not ever but your stats only in one stat.
Because stats are related and if they are not high enough, then you will start to receive damage to you body.
For example if your magic is 400 then your strength and vitality must be at least 100 or you will start to receive damage over time, because your body can`t handle all the mana that is in your body.
What use are the stats anyway asks Aneko?

(Intelligence): Is useful for any type of magic user with out it you would be unable use magic, divine or devils powers. It all so will help you improve your memory related skills and information learning abilities.
(Wisdom) is related to any kind of power or mana regeneration. It helps with your logic and cognition related fields. Higher it is greater these functions will be.
(Dexterity): Increases speed of your body functions and mental response time between them.
(Strength): is related to your body strength and your physical energies strength.
(Vitality): Is manifestation of your life force and physical energies quantifier.
(Luck): Increases chances for you to have more positive situations happening to you.

Some stats that i haven't told you about yet are extra stats.
They are stats that can be gained by special action or trough luck,

Angor was glad he was not the one selling the music box, and that no one knew he was the creator of it, or he would draw a lot of unwanted attention. 
Prome did not have to worry about drawing attention, but he was quite shocked at the current bid as well.
"Who is Number 19? And why did he suddenly add fuel?" Compared to the insane price, people were more curious about whoever could offer such a price for a music box.
Even Lydia could not stay put now. "Who's that? Come, my friend. Let's talk."
No response.
Lydia grimaced. "So, are you doing this just to give me trouble?"
Again, nothing.
Twilight tilted her head and sent a transmission to a worker waiting behind the stage. "Who is Number 19?"
Chamber 19 was vacant at the beginning of the auction. Twilight took a guess that someone came midway.
She received an answer soon and her eyes widened in horror. She intended to assist Lydia. But now… after learning who was currently inside Room 19, she dared not intrude the competition.
She understood why Number 19 offered such a price, considering that man's identity.
She quickly decided to change side. When Lydia demanded a response from Number 19, she pushed the auction with her loud voice.
"Eight thousand by Number 19, going once."
"Eight thousand, going twice."
Twilight no longer cared about Lydia's opinion. She only wished to get her gavel down as soon as possible.
As she said "going thrice", Lydia's voice came again, in a colder tone this time. 
"Eight thousand and a hundred. You coming, Flora?" She looked at Chamber 35.
Flora giggled in her eerie manner. "It's yours, sister, since you want it so badly."
Lydia looked toward Chamber 19 next. "You. How about you? I wouldn't mind giving it up if you pay more."
The price was getting out of hand even for formal wizards.
Once again, Number 19 did not say anything, and the bid on Twilight's screen remained still. After confirming it three times, Twilight announced, "The 100th lot, Land on the Sky, goes to Lady Lotus."
Twilight "congratulated" Lydia. The music box both stopped Lydia from discriminating Twilight Auction, as well as getting them a higher share than expected. Twilight smiled and failed to maintain her neutral expression for a moment.
Before she could bring the 101st item though, Lydia suddenly stopped her. 
"Hold on."
"What's the matter, Lady Lotus?"
"I want to know who originally owned the music box. I really enjoyed the music, so I want to ask something regarding its composer," Lydia explained.
"I can't do that due to our policy, Lady Lotus," said Twilight as her smile disappeared.
Twilight was not the only one who was troubled by the question. Actually, Lydia shocked everyone in the auction hall.
Even Flora raised an eyebrow at Lydia's bold attempt. She already knew that 'Flaming Lotus' Lydia was known for her arrogance and indifference regarding social rules. But she still was not expecting Lydia to ask such a question out loud during a public auction. Lydia might find an answer from the auction house in private if she asked later. However, there was no way Twilight would answer her right here in front of everyone.
Also, there was someone who was in a completely different mindset. Daichese, who had been sitting at the backseat, suddenly had her face drained of color.
"Policy?" Lydia sneered. "Okay then, let me ask something else. Who was the alchemist who created 'Land on the Sky'? At least you can tell us that much, no?"
Twilight was relieved a bit since Lydia asked an easier question. However, she still could not answer this one. "Lady Lotus, please do not put me in a bad position."
"Not even its creator?" Lydia chuckled. "So your policy is all about serving your sellers, but not us buyers?"
Twilight tried to contain her rage. "We can try asking the seller about such information later. However, we'll ultimately respect our customer's decision on whether the information could be told."
"Please do then," Lydia chuckled again. However, people were unsure of what would happen when someone who never knew how to follow rules acted like that.
With that settled, Twilight resumed the auction.
Dave gave Angor a concerned look when Lydia mentioned finding out the source of the music box. However, Angor was completely fine with it—he was not the one selling the item, so nothing would come to him.
Angor successfully bought another item later called the core of a Black Dense Stone.
He needed three extra materials to craft a space storage, one of which was "core of a White Dense Stone", which was a very common object scattered around Vacuum Plane. Yet he never found one at the wizard stores.
Angor was planning to ask Prome to take him to the secret alchemy shops. To his surprise though, he found something even better at the auction.
The cores of White Dense Stone were easy to find because they were everywhere in Vacuum Plane. It was one of the most common materials used in making storage items, so people never bothered to find an alternative to it.
The core of Black Dense Stone was not an alternative. A Black Dense Stone which was originally white went through a reforming process for thousands of years. Apart from possessing all the attributes offered by a White Dense Stone, a black one could also maximize the construction of a space storage by its catalytic effect.
For example, if an alchemist prepared enough material to craft a space of 5,000 liters, the volume meant the max possible outcome of the final product, but not the average volume. Under normal circumstances, the alchemist would create storage of 3,000 liters or so.
The core of Black Dense Stone, however, could help the product achieved the upper limit.
Of course, Angor was happy at gaining such important material.
It cost him 1,300 crystals, but he still found it worthy.
In contrast to him, Prome's mood became worse and worse as more items were brought up. The 158th item was being sold now, and he still had not found an anti-undead weapon.
Angor was going to comfort Prome and claim that he was going to attempt drawing Prelude to Elimination. Before he could do so, the next auction lot drew his attention.
"This is the horn of an Abyss Nightmare," Twilight introduced the item in her good old neutral tone, "it came from the third level of Abyss Plane, and I believe you all know what it can do. We'll start at six thousand magic crystals. Only raises of one thousand or more will be accepted."
The initial price and increment limit already proved to them that the item was only intended for formal wizards.
Once again, the hall remained silent.
This was totally expected though. Abyss Nightmare's Horn was a rare alchemy material, and only master alchemists knew how to use it.
Real master alchemists all received their names because they could create high-tiered items. They were unlike Prome, who was only addressed as "master" out of courtesy when he was merely an intermediate apprentice alchemist.
If the item was sold at Floating Mech City where great alchemists gathered, it might go as high as ten thousand magic crystals. The problem was, people could not find alchemists as easily in Midnight Sovereign. An extremely rare material might attract enough buyers to achieve a good price, but the horn was not something THAT important. It held an awkward value which could prove to be superfluous in a place like this.
Twilight shook her head when a full minute had elapsed in complete silence.
Naturally, everyone understood the situation. Why would someone other than a master alchemist buy the horn? To place it in their homes as decoration trophy?
Twilight was going to ask the workers to bring out the next item when she saw a bid appearing on the screen.
She did not show it, but she was really curious to find out which master alchemist came to her humble auction. Even Floating Mech City had a limited number of alchemists who were considered "masters".
Nevertheless, she had to consider these questions later. For now… 
"Six thousand called by Number 187. Can we get another?"
Number 187? People all began to check the auction record. Gases, Rosegold Gargoyle's Tongue Blood, Chaos Beater Hide Paper, and now this, Abyss Nightmare's Horn. Number 187 only went for alchemy-related items.
People were now certain that Number 187 was an alchemist or at least someone who knew an alchemist and came to buy items in his place.
Buying the horn meant either Number 187 himself or the alchemist he knew could be a master alchemist.
Here, no one had to be reminded of the great value possessed by someone like that. No one showed what they were thinking about. But in the dark, people all made their own plans and plots.

Afterwards, Fatty went on to instruct the fellow cadets on how to disassemble the rifle on the maintenance desk, on the ground, and even on the thigh without using much strength. From this moment on, everyone in the machinery maintenance training camp had treated Tian Xing Jian as their idol, especially when several of them had read about the public record being five seconds for dismantling and seven seconds for assembling. Fatty had, at the most, taken two seconds to dismantle and four to assemble, thus all the cadets felt that this Fatty was absolutely a hidden expert.
After the training which ended before noon, Tian Xing Jian transformed from an instructor into a student. From today on, he would be receiving Russell’s tutelage.
Reaching Russell’s office, Russell did not even raise his head before he pointed to a huge pile of books and said, “This is basic theory. Familiarize yourself with those within two days!” Fatty felt his head getting big. Frowning, he complained, “So many books! And these are technical books, and not just some novels!”
Russell finally looked up: “Do you think you can succeed without hard work? Do you think it’s that easy to become a commanding officer that meets my standards?”
Tian Xing Jian was tongue-tied. These were the words that had seemingly been said by him to the cadets. Karmic retribution happened truly fast. Hanging his head down dispiritedly, he hugged the books and was prepared to leave when Russell said, “Why are you leaving? These books are for you to read during your free time. Right now, we’ll have lessons!”
Tian Xing Jian felt that he was truly a lowly person for he had been rushing to send himself into the hands of his enemy, especially when he became the student of someone whom he had offended before.
Russell had seemingly been reminded of that situation of when he was like a tiger that came down the hill—bullied by Fatty as a result. Right now, Russell had used the strictest of standards to teach him; there were too many battle examples and data being taught, and as long as Russell gave the command, Fatty would be required to memorize everything within a time limit.
Even though memorizing was tough, Fatty could not help but admit that Russell’s teaching standards were relatively high, especially his explanation regarding past battle examples.
Case after case of past battles had been dissected by Russell, revealing their true face. Several tactics and connections in the battle examples were things which he would never have thought of before. There were also many famous precedent battles that had been researched by many others, and Tian Xing Jian’s understanding of these battles had long reached the stage of knowing them like the back of his hand, but upon looking at those battles from another perspective after Russell’s explanation, Fatty felt that he was essentially ignorant. Amongst those, there were countless crucial data, terrain decisions, and scheming methods that had their original form revealed after Russell spun silk from cocoons [1], allowing him to clearly understand the reason for defeat and the important points of those battles.
Fatty was completely convinced that the other party was truly a famous general. Let’s not talk about others, just considering his ability of prying apart the dense fog in those battles was enough for Fatty to learn from him!
As for deductions, Russell had deliberately placed it aside. He did not wish to use his own school of thought to affect Tian Xing Jian’s current personal deduction methods. From Russell’s words, the Myth Legion was indeed the most loyal soldiers to the Empire’s royal family and were indeed the same as the rumors outside; this legion had been embroiled in war for several hundred years until now, and it was also the legion that could make the final decision on the outcome of war. Usually, they would be deployed in the most crucial places. If comparing the combat power of a single one of their soldiers, then even with the issues of the Gyaca Woods’ economy and technology, their Battle Mechas and the ordinary soldiers from the legion could still look down upon the Federation, a nation that did not put much focus on its military. However, if they were facing those special forces from the ultra-big nations, they did not hold any advantages at all; it was just that if they were to rank the coordination between small sections and the commanding abilities of troops above battalion size, the Myth Legion would absolutely be able to rank among the top five international special forces organizations.
Russell had not only given Tian Xing Jian the corresponding information regarding the Myth Legion, but he had even give him a set of regulations regarding how those Myth Legion trained their Battle Mecha controlling abilities.
As for the international circumstances, Russell had also intentionally guided Tian Xing Jian in starting his analysis as they discussed. For the current human society, other than several small nations located in the borders who maintained a neutral stance, the majority of nations had already either joined the Alliance of Fei or the West Faction. These two huge military alliances had already been facing each other for more than a hundred years, with this hundred years or so being truly the darkest period of the human race, as many small nations located at the center were entirely annihilated. War would sooner or later explode, and this time, it would be a war that would sweep all nations in, including the Leray Federation as well.
These conclusions made Tian Xing Jian feel worried in his heart. Fighting against the Gyaca Woods Empire was still fine, but if a cosmic war was to truly erupt, then nobody would know how the Federation would fare in the future. This was the first time he felt pressure in survival.

As Miracolo Planet continued their war development, news outlets had also made another move to garner the support of citizens, especially when the military had made that mysterious company commander and mystical staff officer into a special topic, causing those citizens to feel hung up in their feelings halfway up the heavens [2]. Fatty was worried that he might be revealed. By then, it would not be solely taking responsibility solely given by Father An. Who damningly gave him another responsibility? Well, who asked you to become a hero!?
Every once in awhile, he would snatch a moment of leisure amidst his business, running to Milan’s research lab. After transforming the virtual cabin into a gravity virtual cabin, the crisis he felt had forced him upon the route of self-torture once again.
In the gravity virtual cabin, Fatty had to put in extra effort all the time! Clearly, his hand speed was faster than the other party by nature, and he would even have energy left over after fighting them, but his potential just could not be unveiled like when he had reached his limits. Regardless of how he trained, there was no growth at all. Maintaining the speed of 40 APS, he could not last more than a minute before he would certainly get cramps.
That made Fatty felt anxious. Regardless of that super high ranking officers in the Myth Legion, the top 500 experts from the various nation in the 《Omnipresent Fire of War》, or the experts in Karl’s 《Battle Mecha Pilot Rankings》 book, none of them had a hand speed lower than 40 APS.

And what about a military officer? Are they expected to analyze the outcome of a battle? Or are they expected to create brilliant strategies to triumph over the enemy through a miraculous move?

For someone who excels in human psychology, deceit, assassination, and disguise, what happens when that person is merged with all those professions?

"What?!" Qiao Nan, who helped support Feng Qianqian, was thinking of sending her to the sick bay or to the hospital. Instead, Xu Shengnan ordered Qiao Nan to stand in for Feng Qianqian out of the blue. Qiao Nan was totally caught off guard and was dumbstruck. "Vice President Xu, what did you say just now? I didn't hear you clearly. A-are you kidding?"
Crap! In order to do better than the established English club and to hold their heads high, all the performers of the new English club had practiced for a long time.
They did not dare to relax or be lax with their rehearsals even during summer breaks.

They could change the program lists. However, it would be a big problem if the number of performances and the total duration of the whole program was reduced.
Nobody wanted to lose out to others.
It was especially so for Xu Shengnan. She knew the total duration of the entire program of the established English club.
Even though there were not as many members in her club, she had told her members that they must not lose out to the established English club.
In short, since they could not compete with the established English club in terms of their props or quality of the performances, they must not lose out to them in terms of program duration.
If they could not compete against the established English club, there was no need for the new English club to organize the event. They should admit defeat directly.
Because of Xu Shengnan's temper, even if they had better props and just as good performances as the established English Club today, she was unwilling to lose to them in terms of program duration. 
It was not easy for the new English club to defeat the established English club. However, Xu Shengnan wanted to put up a strong fight. She was unwilling to give up or be slipshod in her work. As long as it was within their means to put in extra effort to make it happen, she would make sure that they did it.

You can simply go on stage to sing a song. As for the accompaniment music… It does not matter even if there is no accompaniment music. Do any of you over here know how to play the instrument? Lü Yan felt like singing and dancing to celebrate the big crisis that Qiao Nan faced.

Another surprising thing for the students was that this year, the school had created a Student Council body based on the votes from the students.
Also, each class had a class monitor and deputy class monitor that's entrusted in assisting the teachers in class, aiding the weak students, roll call... and so on.
No matter what amongst the 2 leaders, one had to be female and the other male.
Generally, once the winners for both the Male Group and female group emerged.... the students would then vote between the 2, and choose who should be the class monitor or deputy class monitor.
For the biology class, the students were taught the basics like: cells, microbes, plant systems, animal systems, invertebrates and vertebrates.
In short, they were taught about all the classes of living organisms.
Of course for Math 4, they focused on simple variable math... like 5x=10, find X.
In that class, they focused on understanding one to two variable equations..... which were usually linear equations.
For chemistry 2, the students would still focused on reactions, atoms and so on.... but now with the use of calculators, they had begun learning about calculating molecular weight and so on.
Of course just so that the students could breathe a little, music, literature, physical education and arts & craft were essentially a must.
In short, this semester was a busy one.
Today, Linda and little Momo were heading towards the Chemistry Lab in the new school building.
Once they got in, they immediately climbed the stairs until they arrived at the 3rd floor... where they were greeted with a large group of students outside the lab.
The area was bustling with busy students.
Friends greeted each other with hugs or playful punches, while others had their eyes glued on their books as they continued doing assignments that were due in the next class.
Some already had their lab coats and safety wears on, while others were busy wearing theirs on now.
In fact, everyone was doing their own thing as they waited for the class to begin.
Instantly, the duo opened their bags and quickly pulled out their neatly folded lab coats and safety items.
For this class, everyone was required to wear their lab coats, gloves, rubber boots, and goggles.
Linda looked at her watch and knew that it would soon be time for them to go in.
And right on queue, Mother Kim and teacher Gophen opened the lab doors from instead and ushered the students in.
"Morning Teacher Kim!"
"Morning teacher Gophen!"

The Laboratory was massive, with several working slabs, cupboards with equipments stored in them, and a small storage room at its front.
Linda and Momo immediately spotted their other group members, and rushed over to join them.
Ever since the beginning of the semester, they had been put in groups of 5.

"Alright.... before we begin, you all know the drill.
In front of each group, are 5 question sheets.
You all have 7 minutes to answer them.

Linda immediately flipped her question sheet and got to work.
For this Chemistry 3 course, they had 1 theory class on Tuesdays, and 1 lab session on Thursdays.
And at the beginning of each lab session, they would have mini quizzes that would test them on what they had learnt in their Tuesday classes.
Chemistry 3 was a course based on Laboratory work, so they had to know about the equipments in front of them, safety lab hazards and so on.
In fact... Ever since the students knew that these questions were 20%, they had taken them seriously
Linda filled her name and school number on the question sheet, before proceeding to answer the questions.
The questions were straight to the point, and easy to answer if one was paying attention during lectures.
And just like that, time flew by quickly... 7 minutes later, the quizzes collected back by teacher Gophen.
And the papers were collected, Mother Kim began distributing the Lab manual sheets for today's experiment.

"Alright.... before we begin our Laboratory experiment, let's recap on what Teacher Winnie has been you all in Chemistry 2." Mother Kim said.
The students immediately took out their books and writing materials.... While others flipped the pages of their books to the last pen-filled page.
It was important for the students to know about what reactions they were going to perform today, hence it was good for them to recap on what they were previously taught.
"So as usual, let's look back on what you all have been learning so far.
I need a few examples of chemistry around us... anyone?" Mother Kim asked, as she waited for the students to raise their hands.
"Yes Filipa?" She said, while pointing at a little girl at the front of the room.
"Air is essentially chemistry, because it's constantly undergoing a chemical change.
For example, we breathe out carbon dioxide and take in oxygen... so air is always changing.
Also... air undergoes changes whenever smoke is released in to the atmosphere by burning, hence it's part of Chemistry."
"Correct!!.
Any other examples of Chemistry around us?" Kim asked.
"Our bodies."
"The ocean"
"When we make bread."
