Oliver was a human, but he was hit by a car and was reborn as a earth dragon. Oliver will take what he wants and build dungeons.

"Hey, Ubel", Olleus said. 

"Hmm, what is it?" I replied. 

Olleus looked sort of spooked. "It's very surprising how fast Dark elves grow during their growth period," He said.

"Just get to the point," I said. 

Olleus got a point though, I used to be really short before. However, it seems that I have grown quite a bit. I had the body of a teenager; my snow-white hair has grown to shoulder length, and my eyes have grown a little bigger. Right now, I am 18 years old, still, it's a little early for my growth period.

"Well, Sanjo has requested that you and Isao go training together in the dungeons," Olleus said. 

"Is that so?" I said with a non-interested voice while reading the book. 

"So, are you going or not?" He asked, concerned

"Of course, I'm going, Isao is very important," I said. 

"Go then, they are waiting for you," Olleus said. 

"See you, Olleus," I said, Olleus waved back.

Apparently, we are going to train in a new dungeon that appeared. Isao was waiting outside the dungeon. "Isn't Sanjo with you?" I asked. 

Isao looked around before answering, "I can't see him, but who knows where he is". Creepy, Sanjo is creepy.

"So, should we just go in?" Isao asked me. 

After a short pause, I said: "What's the worst that could happen?"

We entered the newly established dungeon; the dungeons are classified the same way as the Adventurers ranks. G – SS, the G class dungeons were simply rooms with nothing inside. The F class dungeons have some Rank 2 monsters inhabiting it. Rank – E may have several floors. This continues to SS, SS dungeons are literally mazes, filled with demi-gods, dragons, and ancient undead heroes. No one really knows the purpose for the dungeons, it is a subject that I, myself have researched.

This dungeon is classified as D-rank, a quite common rank among dungeons. Walking in, you can see that it has a classic cave-design. It is roughly 4 meters in height and 5 meters in width, and it is quite easy to know where you are supposed to go.

"Uwahh, this dungeon is scary," Isao said.

"If you think this is scary, wait until we start with B-class dungeons," I said.

"I'm scared just thinking about it!" Isao slightly squeaked. 

The monsters in this dungeon weren't that hard to beat. I think we could take on around 15 of them if we fought together.

We continued down the dungeon, "Hmm, this is weird" I mumbled, 

"What is weird?" Isao asked. 

"Well, the dungeon is getting more complex the longer we go downwards. This is normal of course, but we are starting to exceed D-Rank difficulty." I answered Isao's question. 

"Should we go back?" Isao asked.

"Nah, we can go on for a while." I decided.

After going deeper into the dungeon it started to get ridiculously hard for a D-rank dungeon "Ehm, Ubel?" Isao had a question.

"What is it Isao?" I said.
"Isn't this getting too difficult?" Isao asked.

"You think so too, it would seem that this isn't a D-rank dungeon," I said. 
Just now, we were fighting against three Rank 6 – Rock Trolls. 

"If this were a D-rank dungeon, then we would have reached the boss room already," I said. 

"Then should we return?" Isao asked. 
"That isn't possible," I said. 

"Why?!" Isao screamed.
"After reaching the Tenth floor, the wall closed upon us, remember?" I answered.

"That did happen, I must've forgotten it. But, what do we do then?!" Isao shouted.

"We continue down to the boss chambers" I wiped the blood off my sword and continued downwards.

After intense fighting, we finally managed to arrive at the boss chamber. 

"Seems we managed to get to the boss chambers" Isao panted as he said this. 

"Yes, now, the only thing left is to kill the boss, and in order to that, we have to be prepared." As I said this, I took out a few potions. 

"You can make potions?" Isao asked.

"Yes, according to Olleus it was important for me to learn" I answered.

"Well, it's good that you have potions with you," Isao said.

We drank the potions to prepare for the boss battle, Isao played with Wolfie a little. Although my attribute is unknown, I can still use Iron and fire for some reason. So I decided I'd prepare a few iron spells.

Isao prepares several shadow arts spells to use during the battle. Isao drinks more potions to replenish his stamina.

After resting both our minds and bodies, we decided that we were done with preparations and slowly opened the door. What awaited us was an gigantic… rock. What was at the end of the dungeon was a rock. Some might think that, but I know that that is not a rock. It is an elemental, a rock elemental.

Normal elementals are around Rank 4–7. However, this thing must be at least Rank–8. That is the same level as a Low class-dragon. 

"Defeating this thing won't be easy," I said. 

"I know, but it's not gonna kill itself," Isao said, 

"Hehehe, you're right about that" I chuckled a little.

The battle started with me launching the first attack, it was a simple destruction fire spell… "EXPLOSION!". The spell perfectly hit the sleeping elemental giant. 

"It's waking up!" Isao shouted. 

"Don't reveal yourself yet!" I shouted back.

The Elemental got up on its two feet and started to run towards me. Its movements were sluggish but all of them held destructive power. The elemental was about 20 meters away from me, when suddenly thirty iron spikes came out from the ground and roof, the elemental let out something that sounded like a groan. Then it started running again, but Isao was prepared to deal the finishing blow. Completely hidden, Isao suddenly appeared by the elemental's head and activated a second spell he prepared. "Shadow binding!" Isao shouted the spell name. Several black ropes came out from Isao's arm and started to twirl around the elemental giant. Successful! Or so I thought.

Just before the rope managed to bind the elemental giant, it started flailing around with its gigantic arms, and it successfully managed to break the rope. "Damn it!" Isao shouted just before he received a small finger flick from the elemental. Isao was shot away like a bullet.

He's OK, I've seen him get out of worse situations.

Damn it, this is way harder than I expected. I have no choice but to activate the second spell I had prepared. "Spike ball!". After I shouted these words, a giant spiked iron ball fell unto the Elemental. Crushing some of it. After this, it became furious. It started to run towards me again.

Tch, when will this thing die! "Fireball!" I shot out a classic magic. Damn it! Using this no-chanting thing is taking a huge toll on my magic capacity! 

The giant is getting closer!

The giant appeared right in front of me, I had just fired around 18 spells. Some of them were really strong too. Is this thing unkillable?! What do I have to do to make it fall over and die?!

Just when I thought everything was over, just when the gigantic arm was just 3 meters away from me. Everything froze.

"What is going on?" I asked the void. 

"Chi", I heard a childish laughter behind me, I turned around only to find a little beautiful girl, she had quite the smug expression. 

"Hmm? Who are you?" I asked the little girl sitting on a rock behind me. 
"Who I am? Didn't your mom tell you?" The girl asked. 

"I don't think a dead person can talk much," I said. 
"I know she's dead, but did she never mention me?" She asked again.

"Can't remember her telling me about a girl with long colorful hair" I said. 

"Isn't it beautiful? Well, enough about me. It would seem you're about to die, am I correct?" She asked, 
"You're not wrong, I mean not now after I moved over here," I said. 

"You still need to defeat the thing, don't you?" She said. 
"Well yeah, I do need to get out of here," I said. 

"Well, I have just the thing that you need." She said sounding like a businessman, "God magic" She said.

"What's that, some sacred type of magic?" I said. 

"It isn't sacred, it's not something "we" the gods give," she said. 
"What is it then?" I asked.

"Remember when the aptitude tester just exploded in your face?" She asked.

"Yeah, I do. It appears that my attribute is unknown" I answered.

"Don't you think it's weird that you can still use basic attributes like iron and fire?" She asked again.
"Of course I do" I answered.

"Well, all that is related to god-magic. Your 'unknown aptitude' actually is simply called 'Creation'" She explained.

"What's that?" I asked.
"Let me show you," She said and moved away from the gigantic arm made of rock.

Our protagonist, named Ubel, is a boy born into a rich family. One day his father tells him to work hard and study in order to become a great leader in the future.

However, after a tragic incident, he meets Ailen, who's a scientist. Ailen takes custody of Ubel and trains him in many different combat styles. 

After Ubel's 19th birthday, Ailen takes him to a room. In that room, Ailen tells Ubel something very interesting.

A way to enter a different world!

Join Ubel as he traverses the unknown, and learns the secrets of magic.

If one would stack the powers the Third Walker possessed up like a lego tower, it would reach all the way to the ceiling. Nevertheless, a mighty being like it was still obsessed with 'self-cultivation' mainly because it wanted to obtain a set of all-new, all-different powers. It knew that the stuff in those novels were fictional, but it just absolutely adored the spiritual systems described in books. To the Third Walker, it was inspiring because of its novelty.
There was another minor reason behind its aspirations, of course. Well.. it was jealous of the dragons in those novels.
Those dragons enjoyed higher positions and were even more powerful than the Third Walker ever was—at least, as depicted in the books anyway. Additionally, in the fantasy book, dragons were imperial symbols—the sacred beasts worshiped for a few millennia by about ten billion people. The Third Walker could act mighty all it wanted, but it would always be treated as a dangerous monster by the humans here. It didn't want that!
Regardless of the reasons, Baiyi knew for sure that this lizard was not gonna succeed in its bid to become a Daoist deity. One would have to work their butts off without a wink of sleep in order to turn into one, while all the Third Walker did—whenever there wasn't much to do—was sleep!
Still… The Third Walker could still be considered an expert in the subject of dragonkins. After all, it was once a Divine Dragon. This was not an actual dragon species, but a rank or a position akin to the leader of the dragons, or the dragon king, or the dragons' protector.
A Divine Dragon commanded loyalty from all dragonkins. If that wasn't impressive enough, the Third Walker was of the Silver Naga subspecies— high-class elder dragons that could bend lightning and thunder as they willed.
"So, O Most Respected Dragon King, what do you think?" Baiyi probed in jest.
"Brother, I request for a change in the manner of address. I know my preferred title would be a 'funny' name that is given only to the least skilled of all henchmen—who wouldn't even be able to outwit a monkey, or perhaps given to a member of a Chinese mafia gang—but..." The Third Walker noted in a sharp tone, as it attempted to change the Fifth Walker's nickname for it, "Please call me names like Proud Dragon of Heavens, True Dragon Lord of the Truth[1], or something similar. I love names with twangs like these."
Baiyi was about to give Mr. True Dragon Lord of the Truth another lesson by barring its consciousness in the Void again.
It relented. "Fine, fine! Let's move on! Er, the topic of the day! Yes, topic of the day."
What used to be the Divine Dragon had become a household lizard. This fate was an inevitable one whenever someone depended on another this heavily. Just as they say — a dragon that has accidentally waded into shallow water, is bound to be played by the land-dwellers.
"To be frank, my guess is not different with you humans," It said. "I don't think anyone could bewitch a dragon's mind, even if they were of the lower class. As a whole, our kind has an outstanding resistance to magic of that kind. That's why I agree with what that bag of stinky bones said; these dragons must have been motivated by fear."
The Third Walker had not hidden its scorn towards the Lich, yet "that bag of stinky bones" did not dare retort, so it could only mumble something under his breath in rage.
'Well, what can the Lich do when he is weaker than the commenter?'
"Well, what could possibly terrify you all to this extent? I always thought your kind to be the very definition of fearlessness," Baiyi asked.
"Between life and death lie much to be feared—no no no stop don't do that, Brother, I wasn't trying to act like any character! I was being serious!" The Third Walker said. "It might have been dangerous to go into a restricted zone, but at least they still had the hope of survival afterward, right? Unlike being outside? This is the only reason why they dared to breach in, acting as if they were crazy! Isn't this simple enough to be figured out? I don't believe for one that you people didn't think of this!"
"Are you messing with me?! Even a cottontail rabbit wouldn't leap into a burning furnace just because a wolf is chasing it relentlessly! The rabbit would still run around the furnace!" Baiyi retorted in displease.
"You know what this means? It means that there is no safer place than the furnace itself," The Third Walker uttered the dreaded words.
It was a plausible and simple conjecture, but the situation would have to be too ominous to get to that point, so no one would have jumped to such a conclusion immediately.
"That's not possible! If there is an impending Armageddon capable of destroying the entire realm, there will be signs! The wise and powerful ones in this realm, or even me, would have seen the signs already!" Baiyi's reply belied his disbelief.
"This would mean that the upcoming apocalyptic event lies outside the senses of humans, and the animals could only pick it up due to their acute senses of nature," The Third Walker concluded sternly.
"An Armageddon, huh…" Baiyi fell silent at the prospect. He turned his head to Aya in reality and asked, "Is… Is there gonna be an important festival coming right up?"
"Well, we were going to celebrate Harvest Day. There will be a lot of celebrations, but with what was going on right now, security has become a grievous issue," Aya replied gravely.
"Oh… I'm sorry," Baiyi started apologizing.
"Hmm? Why apologize?"
"Nothing," Baiyi shook his head, finishing his own sentence in his mind. The Voidwalkers really aren't meant to relax with festivals…
"More peculiarly, why did you think of coming to Gouve for a vacation?"
The Archmage, who had been silent for a while, suddenly spoke.
"Was it because the perilous environment here made it easier to connect with the children?"
"What? No! You don't think of me as someone this devious now, do you?" Baiyi rose to explain himself. "The children themselves wanted to play, and I just thought it was a good idea of a getaway to come over here! It's serene, and it's beautiful. It's normal to choose a location based on its marvelous nature, right?"
"That's what alerted me, my child," The Archmage's tone was solemn. "How did you even start building on the impression that Gouve is anywhere near perfect for a vacation? You did not even know such a realm existed. More importantly, next to you, none of us had considered this place a vacation destination. Most people would regard Gouve as a place too fickle in climates and seasons, and a place filled with threats of powerful wildlife and natural disasters. It's great for an adventure, yes, but not for a family vacation."
Baiyi froze.
Just as the Archmage had said, Baiyi was different from the other Voidwalkers in that he did not originate from this dimension. He was, essentially, a dimensional traveler. His knowledge of Gouve was not his own; it was a collection of the impressions and past experiences of the other Voidwalkers gained from their memory exchanges.
When Baiyi exchanged his memory with the others, he re-lived their lives through and gained their perspectives and judgment. Even after he removed all of those memories from his head—in fear that they would cause him to lose his identity—he still could not rid himself of certain thoughts and instincts completely. Case in point: his first impression of a certain object or event had always been made based on the instincts he gained from the other Voidwalkers, because Baiyi himself had never interacted with such a thing in his own life.
The first impressions that a person makes easily highlight their values, forming a base for the opinions of the world around him, and that was why Baiyi's basic view of the world was similar to the Archmage's because the First Walker had been the first to offer his memory to Baiyi. His mental modes were even more akin to a Rohlserlian sorcerer's than any of the others, while his general behavior was more lawful and neutral[2] purely because most of the Voidwalkers were lawful and neutral.
If the Void had been filled with the evil types like the Lich and the Devil, Baiyi might have become a different kind of person altogether.
This made Baiyi's idea of Gouve being a good vacation spot particularly alarming because no one in the Void shared those sentiments. There were many more realms that could boast of sceneries just as beautiful yet far less dangerous.
"So someone had planted the suggestion in my mind without me even noticing, is that it?" Baiyi concluded steely.
Subliminal messaging was quite similar to a common hypnosis, but it was not as miraculous as those performed on Earth. It had specific techniques to execute—something the Charlatan had been very good at. Unlike mind control or other kinds of psychic attacks, subliminal messaging was covert and hard to notice, yet at the same time, it was usually too weak to be of much use. Most of the time it was just to leave little impressions or opinion that the victim would not have formed otherwise; most aristocrats only use this technique to get some girls.
Yes, a technique like this would be way too incompetent. Anyone who has a slightly better psychic resistance would break the technique with ease, let alone someone with as much caliber as the Fifth Walker.
"That's preposterous! With your indomitable will and ungodly reservoir of psychic energy, who would still be able to do that to you? Some kind of god?" The Charlatan, who was the Voidwalker with the most expertise in such techniques in the Void, exclaimed incredulously.
"Maybe it was some kind of god," Baiyi muttered quietly.
"You mean…. The War God?" the Archmage chimed in. "That… is possible, yes. Your consciousness has met with his, so he could have planted that idea in your head at that time. Plus, as a god, he does have the necessary strength and ability to do so… While you had always been confident of your own capability, so you would never entertain the possibility of someone invading your mind. This created an opening."
"Hmph, that must be it. No wonder he has been relaxing the terms and conditions for using his stupid sword; he had already taken me as his pawn. Let me guess, it had been planned out ever since I've gotten Attie, huh?" Baiyi's tone was chilly. "You think that I should become your pawn just because I took in a maid and that poor excuse of a sword? What a pleasure doing business with you, War God."
In a flash, the Fifth Walker had scanned through every inch of his memory to see if he had done anything else that was unintentional. Luckily, it seemed that the subliminal message only painted a very good impression of Gouve.
"Looks like he just wanted me to go to Gouve. Is it because of this unknown apocalyptic event?" Baiyi resumed his train of thoughts. "Maybe something important is at stake in this event…"
"If that's the case, you can't withdraw yourself out from the game field, mate," the Thane chimed in to finish the thought.
"You're not half-wrong. I'm now very interested in seeing just what the fuck exactly would prompt Mr. War God to play such a risky game."
Baiyi turned his attention back to the reality again, thinking of getting more information from Aya.
But to his surprise, the dragon-lady had backed into a corner and had both hands covering her chest defensively. Her expression was one of intense alertness while her gaze, which was fixed on him, was complicated.
'What the hell are you doing? Why are you protecting your breasts? Are you trying to fend off the advance of a pervert? …Why would I be interested in a dragon's mammary glands?' Baiyi thought as he said out loud, "What's wrong?"
"Y-y-you… w-w-were terrifying…" Aya gulped as she whispered. "I t-thought you wanted to e-e-eat me…"
'E-e-eat? Of all the words you could use, you used that one word that may bring up some M-rated implication?'
Baiyi put up his hands apologetically. "Sorry about that. I was just pondering on some dire situations, and I guess I accidentally reacted to that."
When he finally noticed the War God's cheap manipulation, he was enraged. As a result, the Fifth Walker accidentally released his true aura, and the ever-sensitive elder dragon had detected it easily.
Ergo, it terrified her enough to back in a corner.
[1] ... Those are more like rejected ninjutsu technique names in Naruto, dude.
[2] For those who had never seen this before, this is per the Alignment type in Dungeons & Dragons! If not mistaken, I remember that Lawful Neutral was the most common alignment… Huh, I always thought Baiyi was a True Neutral. Apparently he's the type to cross red lights sometimes, but would still finish his homework on time!


Imagine being forced to live, after death, as incorporeal bodies trapped in a vast space of nothingness for thousands of years, with nothing to do but exchanging past memories with other cohabitants (read: weirdos).  Everybody wanted out, but there was no way to leave the Void... 
Until one day, a young man was finally summoned, as a powerful but reluctant mentor, by a bubbly and motivated but completely naive young girl. Baiyi, finally out of the Void, was the only one who could save all of the other 32 souls from their prison and his summoner might just be The Key to their freedom.
However, Baiyi had to use the techniques and abilities the other souls had taught him throughout the years, and together with his own extensive knowledge of anime and game tropes from his shady and dangerous past as an otaku, to face the biggest challenge of them all: training the clumsy young girl he was forced to partner up with… into a competent sorcerer!

Dang, it! Dang, it! Dang, it! How long was I in there? How many did I spawn? Wait, how many did they kill? I bring up the semi-translucent tab to check my stats.

Jesus Christ!!! How many was it before? Like, forty-something? So, the dragons killed over nine thousand people already!? And since none of their victims attacked me, it's a pure kill and not even a combat one. That most likely means that I get no increase in stats also. I close the 'Stats' bar and open up the 'Status' bar to confirm.

Yeah, I expected as much— Ah, 1796!? That means—
"Freeze!" I shout without aiming, but it's too late. Another water dragon rises, of the ever-growing lake about a hundred yards away. It appears head-first, its jaw pointed at the sky, like some summoned abomination. Water is flowing out of the blue dragon's gaping maw like an overflowing manhole, except, like, fifty times worse!
And now I'm without the mana to do anything against them. And even though I'll regenerate my mana points fast enough, actually dealing with them is going to be a whole other issue. I was planning to wear down one of these drakes using the adventurer's as shields, but a whole flock of them? The whole point of making the dragon uncontrollable was to make it strong enough to pose a threat, not create a whole Dragon Apocalypse!
I might need to do some 'leveling' before I can solve this. Ack! I notice the water level rise—it's already at my knees.
"Ahem!" I hear a familiar cough. It appears that the panther girl has finally stepped outside the Guild building. She takes a look around and then brings her left hand to her left ear and says, "Level 6 threat has appeared. Local adventurers too useless to handle it. Begin evacuation. Engage plan Omega."
Woah are they seriously planning to help? Perhaps they're not as bad as I suspect—
With a thunderous roar, the earth trembles and I fall over into the water, along with many other adventurers. I look up and see the Guild building rise into the sky, powered by over two dozen rocket engines, spewing hot flames and deafening, roaring noise, that sends nearly everyone flying away, except for me, panther girl, the grizzly bear and two metallic golems.
The girl herself suddenly has the top of her head open to the side like a can lid. Out of it two thin, metallic blades rise and unfold. They soon take shape of two giant propellers, each at least six feet long. Additional two metal rods pop out of the girl's head forming handles which the girl grabs. The propellers begin spinning, picking up speed fast and with a 'chuff, chuff, chuff-chuff-chuff' sound the girl rises into the air, flying after the Guild building.
I rub my eyes in disbelief, pricking my skin with my fingernails to make sure I'm not sleeping.
"Ouch!" I wince from the pain and a tiny drop of blood forms, where I pricked my skin.
Meanwhile, the three circling water dragons see the gigantic, rectangle building rise to their level. One of them unleashes a water torrent at the Guild building, but it is repelled by a golden circular shield, made out of shining hexagons, that appears around the building.
The engines change their angle and the building flies diagonally side-ways and up, picking up speed. The dragons pursue the building at first, but with none of their attacks being successful, they eventually give up.
The Adventurer's Guild flies away ever faster and soon, with one last spark of light like a glowing star, disappears in the distance.

"You killed someone in front of your son!" Rhea threw a book at me, though I luckily dodged it. "And not just that, you had the GALL to declare HIS betrothed the Queen of Love and Beauty, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" She screamed, throwing more books at me. "Seven above, calm down woman!" I yelled as she held firm, though obviously close to shirking back.

"I didn't intend to kill that boy, It was an accident!" I said, rather angry, slowly walking over to her as she calmed down some. "That still doesn't explain why you took your lecherous gaze to your son's betrothed." She said as I hugged her, with my hands on the small of her back. "I don't plan on cuckolding my own son if that's what you're worried about..." I said, before groping her ass. "Besides, you love it when I bring other women to our bed." I said as she moaned. "Dae-Daemon, he's just in the other room!" she said, fighting back a moan. "He's old enough to know to fuck off when the time is right... Now C'mere" I smirked, ripping open her blouse.

After the tourney and the... escape from my parent's own escapades, I found myself in my private room, just... staring at the metaphysical glowing box in front of me. This whole, kenjutsu thing is confusing. Like, I know that Kenjutsu is a pretty good form of using a sword and all, but would it be effective against medieval infantry? It was good enough that they kept it up until just after the industrial revolution and all, but It's mostly focused against people who aren't wearing steel plating. Oh well, no need to complain about it. Cortana, open Kenjutsu crate.

The crate disappeared before Three glowing lights engulfed my sight. Slowly the lights dim before Cortana shows me my newly attained items.

Each Dungeon is foolproof, if you die in the Dungeon, you won't die in real life, though it will be immensely painful, whilst in a Dungeon, time in the real world does not continue, so no-one will think something is amiss. Once in a dungeon, you will be given armor and a weapon of your choice depending on your level if you do not have one. You can do three Dungeons in a row before you pass out from exhaustion. 

The Blank Dungeon is as it is named, It is an entirely blank void with nothing in it, excluding the floor. It's the perfect place to train skills. 

The Wight Dungeon is a low-grade dungeon (1-15). Each Wight has a chance to drop a Silver Stag, various pelts, and a bronze sword, with the rare chance for one to drop a bronze ingot. You get between 25-65 XP per kill, depending on the level of the wight, which come in twenty-one different waves (each containing between 150-300 Wights, excluding the final one), the last being the Wight King, a Level 15 Boss which drops a Gold Dragon and an iron ingot, with 100 XP once killed. After the Dungeon is beat, there will be a chest for you to open, which will carry between 200 Silver Stags to 30 Gold Dragons, with the occasional Customization Token tossed in. (0.5% chance)

The Orc Dungeon is an Easy to Medium Dungeon (10-25) It is large, a three leveled tower with waves, ten per level (100-350), with the final level having 11, with the Orc Chieftan being the final boss. Each orc can drop various bones, deer jerky, and a barbaric iron sword, with the rare chance to drop a Gold Dragon, each containing between 150-300 XP per kill. The Orc Chieftan is a Level 25 Boss which drops anywhere from 10 Gold Dragons to 20 Gold Dragons, with the chance to drop a steel sword. Killing it will get you 500 XP. Once the Dungeon is completed, a chest will await you with anywhere from 15 Gold Dragons to 50 Gold Dragons, with the occasional Customization Token tossed in. (1%)

Holy shit! Like, seriously, at this rate, I'll be LIVING off of Customization tokens. They seem to be the ONLY thing keeping me alive... or at least with proper equipment. I guess I should explain the level's in this world, hmm?

Children are always level 1, no matter their age or race, until they are ten years old, then, and only then, can they level up. Gaemon is the only occurrence of this not working out.

The smallfolk are usually levels 1-5, with a few that are level 20, though you could count that number per generation on your fingers and toes.

Animals are between 1-40, being of course, animals.

The Nobility, namely the lords are level 1-50, the best example of this is Eddard Stark, who reached level 50 in the Ironborn's attempted revolt. 

Royalty can be between 1-150, though mostly they stay under 50, due to not having as much free time as everyone else.

Dragon's have the highest starting point at 25-300, they are the strongest starting point, but can be felled if they aren't paying attention, by another dragon, or by a damn good shot.

White Walkers have the highest level, however, being 10-500, with the Night King sitting up at that glorious 500 mark, who knows, I may involve the Night Queen if you wish. The only way to kill them is with a levelless blade, which is only created from obsidian or Valyrian Steel.

The only way to surpass the given level of your species is to have a System, oh our lucky protagonist~

What Cale said about finding the world to be wrong, Isabelle understood it well. However, since Cale was simply an ordinary person, Isabelle thought that Cale seemed to think that it was himself who had issues.

"Cale... what you said about feeling like something was wrong with this world... you aren't the only one to have that feeling." Isabelle said.

Cale inwardly laughed as he thought that he was just making some shit up. Who knew Isabelle would actually get baited, but he continued to maintain a surprised look at her statement.

"Do you want to find out the truth about the world?" Isabelle asked. Cale acted confused. "What do you mean?"

Isabelle took out an old pocket watch from her pocket and told Cale to hold it. Cale did as he was told, but he had already checked it out with his eye of insight.

When Cale held it in his hand nothing happened. Isabelle had a sigh of relief. She was sure that Cale was a human, but she had to make sure.

"I want you to make me an oath that you won't tell anyone that I revealed the information that I will reveal to you in the next hour."

Cale acted confused and did as she was told. He felt a weird energy string tie around his wrist as he did that. He could see the string of blue energy using his eye of insight. Cale thought that was interesting.

Isabelle nodded. She had already made sure there was no one else around 

"This world is not normal. Like you said." She sighed. "This nation of flowers, the country we live in, is controlled not by humans, but fantastical beings called dragons."

Cale showed disbelief on his face. But Isabelle continued. "This world, under the veneer of this ordinary world, lies a hidden fantasy world. A hidden war for power is being waged between human's and different races. Dragons... they are one of the most powerful races and they thoroughly defeated humans and took over this country.

Over the past thousand years, humans with power have all moved to the first heaven, a land in the sky and the races like dragons have taken control of the earth. Humans who have power on earth are hidden from the world."

Cale sighed. "So... you're one of these hidden humans?" Isabelle shook her head. "You can say so, but I'm just an ordinary student, I'm too weak to fight for the human race yet."

"Fight? Is that the goal of humans with power?" Cale asked.

"Yes. It is to take back control from these creatures. They have disguised themselves as humans and taken control of society, created a fake world where powers, abilities and skills don't exist." Isabelle looked at Cale. "I was staring at you, because I noticed that you have the talent to cultivate. I was observing your behavior to ensure you weren't suspicious."

Cale looked at the ground. He didn't speak. He learned some new information, humans with power are actually oppressed and most don't even live on earth, but in a land in the sky! That was probably why Isabelle learned the disguise skill, Cale hypothesized that perhaps most humans with any power would have learned that disguise skill.

Isavelle stayed silent. She thought that Cale must have been shocked by what he heard and probably doubted her and gave him time to process it.

Cale looked at her. "It is truly hard to believe, but your serious look tells me you aren't joking." Isabelle nodded. Cale continued. "Why did you tell me this? Isn't this probably a big secret?"

Isabelle instead asked. "Do you want to become stronger?"

Cale shook his head. "I don't know about that. I am guessing becoming stronger means entering this dangerous world with a double life?" Isabelle sighed. What Cale said was indeed true. Cale spoke again. "I know too little about this world to make a rational decision."

Isabelle nodded. "Take this flash drive. It contains a lot of basic information about the world, however, destroy it once you read through it. If you agree, I can let my master meet you." 

Back at home. Cale took the flash drive in his hand. He realized that his eye of insight was indeed marvelous. He could directly form a display within his vision that could explore the files in the data drive. 

It told him about the state of the earth. How humans with abilities are at constant guerilla war with the dragons and how they have to stay in hiding. It also gave him information about different races, about monsters and finally dungeons. Apparently there are many dungeons around the world. They are the source of monsters. 

Most keep dungeons as training grounds for their races. Dungeons are hard to find and most dungeons are actually found when the monsters overflow out. It also pointed to locations of known dungeons.

Cale thought about the dungeon he controlled. He wasn't sure how he became its owner, but from the tutorial he had received, he found that his dungeon would not be detectable to anyone else for a year. This was time for the dungeon master to create a dungeon. 

Thus Cale had to collect a lot of DP to expand his library dungeon at the same time he needed to level up. But he didn't have a desire to join Isabelle's group, whatever it was. He wasn't interested in a life long war, just self preservation. Cale was selfish that way.

He did however, desire the disguise skill, so he could fake his level. Although Eye of Insight seemed to be a unique skill he got as a dungeon master, he had to be prepared for an enemy to potentially have the skill.

He selected a dungeon to try out, that was not very far away, since it was within the Rinlo City itself. He would have to take a taxi. Dungeons had been classified according to their difficulty and this particular dungeon was labelled as beginner grade.

"Sure!" Seven Stars Warrior replied and immediately hatched the Dragon Egg.
"Crack… " As the Dragon Egg cracked, Seven Stars Warrior felt his heart jumping out of his chest. The strength of this pet depended on what kind of defect it had.
"Purr… " Following a tender purr, a tiny dragon broke out of the Dragon Egg.
"What the f*ck! This stupid-looking thing is a dragon?" Little Rain who was at the side sneered.
"It's so cute!" Gale Eversummer and the other girls instantly fell in love with it.
Although adult dragons looked ferocious, baby dragons were adorable. They had small fat bodies and a pair of cute little wings. They were so cute that people could not help but feel like pinching them.
Seven Stars Warrior's pet was no exception. As it had just hatched out of its Dragon Egg, it had the cute baby dragon look. In contrast, even though Anew Returner and the others had lower Quality pets, their pet eggs were all in a sealed form. So, their pets were already adults when they were first summoned.
After the pinkish baby dragon came out of the Dragon Egg, it waddled around a little. However, it quickly recognized Seven Stars Warrior among the crowd.
"Flap, flap… " The baby dragon flapped its little wings and flew to Seven Stars Warrior's side. Then, it snuggled into Seven Stars Warrior's face. It looked like they were extremely close to each other!
"Ding!" A golden light fell and the Pet Contract was established. Seven Stars Warrior saw the pet's attributes.

"Phew… " After seeing the pet's attributes, Seven Stars Warrior sighed in relief.
At this stage, the Bloodstained Light Dragon's combat power was very average. Its skills were absolutely useless and its attributes were similar to a Green Fine Quality pet. However, Seven Stars Warrior was already mentally prepared for this. After all, his pet was only a juvenile dragon now. Before it became an adult dragon, it would definitely not have much combat power. It was impossible to compare it with those sealed-type pets that were already adults as soon as they were summoned.
However, Seven Stars Warrior could completely accept the defect of this Ancient pet. It would just not fight with other pureblood dragons. The defect was not too serious.
"How is it? Warrior, is your pet powerful? Show us!" Anew Returner who was on the side said.
"Rustle… " 
Before Seven Stars Warrior could reply, the baby dragon held onto his thigh and rubbed its face against it. Obviously, it was acting cute and asking for food!
"Sister Casanova, do you have any Mana Crystals with you right now?" Seven Stars Warrior asked Lady Casanova. He was not a Profession Player, so there was no way he would carry Mana Crystals around.
"I don't have any, ask Rose!" Lady Casanova shook her head. All the Mana Crystals they obtained from Dungeons had been placed in the guild storage. Moreover, Rosette Rose was in charge of everything financial.
"Seems like I have to use up all my points again!" Seven Stars Warrior sighed. Although the Dragon Egg did not consume all his Contribution Points, he still had to use the remaining to get more Mana Crystals if he wanted his little pet to become strong.
"Come on! Let's go to the next Dungeon!" Jiang Fei immediately called everyone to get ready to go to the Dark Dragon's Lair.
After exiting the Light Dragon's Lair, Jiang Fei went straight to the next portal.
"Ding! You have cleared the Dragon's Dungeon and the Dungeon will be reset after one day!"
"F*ck! What the?" When Jiang Fei tried to enter the Dark Dragon's Lair, he got such a notice.
"These Dungeons probably share cool downtimes!" Lady Casanova guessed. Even though the contents of these Dragon Lairs were not really the same, they shared the same cooldown time. After clearing one Dungeon, parties had to wait a day for the Dungeon to reset before re-entering.
"Forget it! Tomorrow then. Let's see how everyone's Dragon Eggs are!" Jiang Fei shrugged helplessly. He could not do anything to override this system setting.
"Right right! Our Dragon Eggs!" The other players suddenly remembered that twenty Dragon Eggs had been hatched in the last boss battle, but most of the players still had their Dragon Eggs.
Light Dragon Egg (Pet Egg, Fine)
Use: Hatches a juvenile Light Dragon to become your pet.
Remarks: Juvenile Light Dragon can only evolve into a Young Dragon at most.
Obviously, although these Light Dragon Eggs would hatch small Light Dragons, these Dragons could not evolve infinitely like Seven Stars Warrior's juvenile Dragon. The juvenile Dragons that hatched out of these Fine Dragon Eggs could only evolve into a Young Dragon and it would no longer be able to evolve.
"It seems like the Dragon Eggs stolen from the previous four Dungeons can't evolve. They can only hatch juvenile dragons. The Dragon Eggs stolen from the Golden Dragon Dungeon can probably evolve into young dragons. I think only the Dragon Eggs dropped by the boss can evolve into adult dragons!" Jiang Fei guessed.
"Isn't it Warrior's lucky day then? He has a Dragon King Pet Egg! Can it eventually evolve into a Dragon King?" Little Rain cried out.
"I don't know… " Jiang Fei shook his head. After all, this was the first time Dragon Pet Eggs appeared. No one knew anything about them.
"Forget it, let's go back for now. We can only continue with the Dungeons tomorrow anyway." Jiang Fei shook his head.
"Mmm! I'm heading back!" Seven Stars Warrior was the first one to tear a Return Scroll. After all, he was eager to go back and feed his pet with Mana Crystals. He was curious about the extent to which this pet could evolve into. 
Speaking of which, pet evolution was definitely something which burnt a lot of money. Mana Crystals were very rare Profession materials only used by Enhancers and Engineers. Enhancers used Mana Crystals to directly increase the total Mana Points of Magicians while Engineers used them to make cannons.
War weapons were naturally worth a lot of money and there was only one Class that required a maximum mana limit—Cursed Magicians! One could tell how valuable Mana Crystals were just by looking at these two ways in which they were used. Moreover, the price of Mana Crystals had soared due to the emergence of a huge number of Dragon pets which required Mana Crystals. So, an astronomical amount of money was needed to evolve a juvenile Dragon!
In short: if poor, do not play with Dragon pets!
Fortunately, Empyreal Dragon had a rich reserve of resources. Seven Stars Warrior also had a lot of Contribution Points left, so he could still exchange some Mana Crystals from the guild storage for the time being. However, he did not know how big the appetite of this little Dragon was. Would Seven Stars Warrior be able to afford it? If his Points were not enough, he would probably have to work for the guild and earn more Contribution Points for some time.

After Ren and Hilda got the sleeping Lara, they headed straight towards the Dungeon Core. The room the Dungeon Core was located was supposedly the area where the treasury was located as well. 

When Ren heard this, a lot of questions were raised. Why is the Dungeon Core placed in the treasury? Also why does a Dungeon that spawns monster have a treasury to begin with? Finally what will they do with the treasury? Do they the ones who cleared the Dungeon acquire it? 

Hilda answered all of Ren's questions. The answer to the first two questions was no one knows. Same as Dungeons and Dungeon Cores, no one truly knows why they exist. She also explained that the treasures found in the Dungeon are divided with the adventurers who cleared the dungeon, the adventurers guild, and the Kingdom where the Dungeon is located. 

Obviously Ren asked what happens if he takes all the treasures for himself. The answer was as expected. 

"After a Dungeon is cleared, the surrounding monsters are lessened. If the adventurer withholds information regarding the clearing of the Dungeon, the royal family sends someone to inspect the Dungeon. Once the inspectors report that the adventurer who cleared the Dungeon was hoarding the treasures, he or she will become the enemy of the Kingdom." 

Ren didn't really care about the Reschbeauch Kingdom that he is a citizen of. Still if he did do something, not only will he suffer the consequences everyone he knows will also suffer. So he decided to just follow the proper procedure for this.

When Ren and his group got into the room where the Dungeon Core was, Ren was surprised in what he saw. He wasn't surprise by the mountain of treasures, no it wasn't that, what surprised him was the Dungeon Core and the room itself. While Hilda looked around the room, Ren started to recall some things.

The Dungeon Core looked eerily similar to a young Dragon's heart. Ren couldn't understand why it would look so similar. He couldn't believe that a young Dragon's heart was a Dungeon Core. It might just look really similar to it, but Ren knew that was impossible. 

Yet why create something like this? What's its purpose? Or is this really not a young Dragon's heart? Ren had only seen a young Dragon's heart once back in his previous world. An arrogant young Dragon wanted to show how weak he Demon lord Kretos was, by killing him. Yet after battling for three days, Kretos had finally defeated the young Dragon, and took its heart as a prize. 

That was one of the best fights Kretos at his peak ever had. The arrogant Dragons, well the adult ones, would never stoop so low to attack a lower life form. Which is to them everything that is not a Dragon or a God. So that was the only time Kretos had fought a Dragon, and it was glorious. 

So seeing something similar to a young Dragon's heart as the Dungeon core was a frighteningly amazing concept. That would mean that something, or someone had killed young dragons, and used their hearts to make Dungeons; and this wasn't done by killing one or two young dragons, based on what Hilda said their were dozens of Dungeons scattered throughout the continent. That means there was a being that for a time, hunted young Dragons. 

The idea that there was some being powerful enough to kill young dragons and create these dungeons, was truly intriguing. Is that why the Dungeon Cores where in the treasury? Because whoever hunted the young dragons treated their hearts as treasures.

Ren was getting excited just thinking of such a powerful being existing in this world. Ren really wanted to challenge that being to a battle to the death. 

Ren who got excited again, then thought of another question. Why does this room seem familiar? The moment he entered the treasury, it was not only the young Dragon heart that triggered memories of the past, but the room itself felt nostalgic. 

'This room looks the same as that room, where I fought the fourth hero. Yet back then it wasn't a treasury, it was his personal room. Still the design of this Dungeon and the overall feel, reminds me of the fortress the fourth hero owned.'

Ren then started to reminisce about the fourth hero. Among all the heroes Ren faced, the fourth one was the only one who had escaped death by his hands. This was an impressive feat considering the time he fought the fourth hero, he was already at his strongest. 

The fourth hero was the hero who truly believed in his mission. Among all the heroes who were pretty much obsessed with justice the fourth hero was in a category of his own. He made justice the thing above all, compassion, love, kindness, all of these things were secondary in the face of justice. 

Even during their final battle when he learned it was not Kretos who destroyed his village, but the royal family. He didn't finish the fight and went to annihilate the royal family, from the main family to every descendant they had. 

It was at that time, Kretos wasn't considered the worse enemy of humanity, it was the fourth hero. They even labelled this hero who saved thousands as the greatest traitor of humanity. He was hunted down by the people he once protected. The final fate of the hero was a tragic death, supposedly by the hands of those he sought to protect.

Hilda who was done inspecting the room, looked at Ren weirdly. Ever since coming down to this Dungeon this overconfident man kept on staring at the distance. He would suddenly keep quiet and not say anything for a few minutes. Was the Dungeon having some kind of strange effect on him? 

"Oh are you done checking the room? So are we going to destroy the Dungeon Core now?" Ren who was having sudden flashbacks to the past, finally noticed Hilda was looking at him.

"Yeah you can destroy it now." When Ren heard the okay from Hilda, he used an unknown darkness spell and engulfed the Dungeon Core with a ball of darkness. 

Hilda who was unaware what kind of spell was used, simply looked on. The darkness that shrouded the Dungeon Core disappeared alongside the Dungeon Core itself.

"There, gone. So how do we bring the treasures back up." 

"Don't worry about that, the Guild will handle that. The guild will be processing the treasure and will give you, your share of the treasure." Hearing Hilda's answer, Ren simply shrugged his arms and went out of the room. Hilda felt like Ren's nonchalance about the whole sequence of events was normal with his arrogant personality. 

Little did she know Ren didn't actually destroy the Dungeon Core, he simply hidden it from Hilda's view, and took it with him.

The strongest Demon Lord dies, and reincarnates as a human. Not only that, he because of various incidents turns into the hero's best friend.

Follow his journey as he tries to help the hero escape his fate, and on the sideline to conquer the continent while he's at it.

We are doing the "real world screen recorder and alarm" thing that Elicia first thought of a couple months ago.

The idea is to use a few thousand Mana Gathering Arrays to gather mana and Ultimate Mana Crystal to store it. Then, we just need to access Shabes' Will by ourselves and make a connection with a Reflective Clairvoyance Crystal Screen made with Dungeon Alchemy. Once that is done, we link the Clairvoyance Screen and the User Interface together, so the screen actually "spies" on the User Interface.

Easier said than done, though. A huge chunk of my dungeons' mana is consumed to empower this thing.

Still, it is worth it. Elicia even managed to put in an alarm function by adding a smaller alarm spell which is connected to the flow of mana. So, if the flow chances to show the activation of either the chat or stream options, or even both, we will be alerted.

I guess Elicias' dungeon mana has been used almost exclusively to do that...?

No wonder she likes my treasure vault so much… but then… couldn't she take another dungeon or something? My precious gold…

- It's not only you who likes to be lazy sometimes, you know? Besides Hon, there are plenty of NPC dragons acting wild and a lot of dungeons have been taken already. I won't risk fighting then just because of this.
