So what happens when he has the usual cliche death and resurection, but with a twist?

Forgetfully, he played around with it for an entire morning. During the process of dubbing, Meng Fan also tried to control the appeal of his voice the same way he controlled his smile appeal in addition to controlling his sound. Simply put, it was how much emotion he was putting in. To put it in a more complicated manner, he was controlling the density of energy that was being put in. 　
Meng Fan's original voice was average. The increased singing skill brought a wider vocal range, better tone, and sound quality in his voice. Even if he wasn't completely stage-ready, his voice was very charming. If he spoke seriously, his emotions could be felt heartily. Meng Fan felt he could talk to Wu Tong in this voice, but it was a bit inappropriate to speak like so to anyone.
The thought of talking that way to Wu Tong made Meng Fan's body tremble with silly laughter.
Including the time he spent yesterday, he had been practicing for a total of seven or eight hours. He was quite familiar with it, so he decided to carefully select a clip to dub and use it as his "resume".
With his dubbing abilities, Meng Fan wanted to try actual voice acting and use his voice to shape a character in the process as well.
In this regard, Meng Fan had resources and connections. Meng Cai Wei aside, he made friends with a group of people through dubbing who had the same interest; there were several people in one group alone.

Of course, most of these practitioners worked through the internet or online dubbing, and they mostly participated in network dramas or online TV series. Most of them didn't have professional backgrounds and were all enthusiasts like Meng Fan who didn't have the proper education.
This was the largest group of dubbers in the industry as well.
Speaking of enthusiasm, making money had nothing to do with this group. It wasn't that they had enough and didn't care, but it was because they really couldn't make money in this industry.
If they wanted to make money, they had to convert to the business sector which was basically commercial dubbing.
Simply put, dubbing in the business sector was essentially just famous people dubbing. These were the top practitioners in the dubbing industry and were very rare.
Not including the internet, nowadays as Chinese TV series come and go, it was basically the same four people in a relationship back and forth.
It was excessive, but this was a fact.
These four voice actors were not only incredible and trusted by the crew, but they also reflected the scarcity of Chinese voice actors.
The main reason for this scarcity, of course, was undoubtedly the low pay.
Several hobbyists had entered the profession based on their enthusiasm, but they quit after two or three years because they got jobs that actually filled their stomachs. There weren't many people at the base of the pyramid, so there was less who emerge on top. Because of this, there weren't many crews and production companies that specialized in this industry, so they could only give little pay. The less these films pay, the fewer people enter the industry.
This negative cycle had been going on for years.
But recently, with the booming development of the entire otaku industry, there was a bigger demand for dubbing for both animes and video games. This enabled more network partners and even businesses to have more choices and a larger development platform. At the same time, it further highlighted the value of voice actors, allowing the entire industry to move in a straight path.
For example, in the past, animes were usually introduced directly from Japan and America. There weren't many that were aired on TV, so there were no Chinese dubs for them. The rest were screened online with the original soundtrack. There were some famous shows that were dubbed in Chinese, but those were all done by hobbyists free of charge.
Nowadays, the annual output of domestic animations was pretty high. As long as it was an animation, it would need voice actors. Since there was a demand, the salary naturally became high as well.
Being able to make money from a profession that a person loved was the cornerstone of development for every industry.
Besides, to solve the problem of low income for voice actors, "Bian Zhang Qiao and Ji" and other famous voice actors began their own forms of experimentation, such as setting up a voice acting studio or becoming a voice director for a film crew and starting a related platform that offered teaching institutions and platforms to interested students.
It might sound like a stretch, but in Japan, the most developed land of anime, the voice acting culture was already very mature. They had evolved from basic sound-shaping characters into the seiyuu era. The seiyuu not only act as voices for animations but also work from behind the scenes all the way to the big screens, working on albums, photoshoots, posters, TV programs and even hosting concerts.
In addition to his idol Shan Jin bro, Meng Fan's idols consisted mostly of these famous CVs!
Before his reincarnation, he had flown from Singapore to Japan just to see a CV's concert!
Having said that, Meng Fan had gone to vocal training with the help of Meng Cai Wei, so the teacher had been pretty great. The group formed by this teacher was also pretty impressive, and most of the voice actors in it were capable of professional dubbing. They also had some guiding and directing jobs on hand as well.
Of course, it was because the teacher knew Meng Fan was introduced by Meng Cai Wei, so he didn't kick Meng Fan, who had no qualifications and previous works, out from his group in recent years. He was hidden deep in this powerful chatroom of many connections.
Meng Fan went around to send his voice-over clip to a few dubbing directors and then waited for the result. Although it was possible to find a dubbing job through Meng Cai Wei, he was not in a rush. He became anxious when he thought about it though. Besides, since his vocal abilities have changed so much, he could say he had been practicing hard and Meng Cai Wei would still ask around.
After sending out the clips, Meng Fan went to school to eat with Wu Tong. They had classes in the afternoon, and he had no plans of skipping.
He didn't physically skip, but Meng Fan was focused on drawing his manga during the entire lecture. Qin Jiao, who had been lecturing on the podium, did not even look at him or say anything to him. However, she did call him over after class.
"The money you transferred last time has been donated under your name. Here's the receipt." Qin Jiao handed a certificate to Meng Fan, gesturing for him to leave now. "Are you busy this afternoon?"
"Busy with what?" Meng Fan asked.
"Did you know that your sister told everyone that I started a studio in order to find you work?" Qin Jiao asked. Seeing Meng Fan nod, she continued, "So I established one."
"You… made one?" Meng Fan was stunned this time. "Isn't this a bit much?"
"It's alright." Qin Jiao walked onto the road and took out her car keys, pushing the button. "Let's go. I'll take you around the studio. We can sign the contract on the way, too."
"Why am I signing a contract all of a sudden? What does this have to do with me?"
"What do you mean 'what does this have to do with you'? The studio was made because you wanted to find poster drawing work, right?"
"..."
"Come up quick, or else I'll tell Wu Tong who your mom is."
Meng Fan heard this and wanted to say she already knew, but on second thought, he swallowed his words and compliantly stepped into the car.
Of course, he trusted Qin Jiao enough to know she wouldn't force him to sign an unfair agreement. Plus, he really wanted to see the studio.


To reward Meng Fan for his bravery before his heroic death, the cosmos rewarded him with a 'system', sending him back in time to three months ago, alive.

3:30 PM – City Mall Bacoor West Wing, TechZone

Inside a store, Mark sat on a wheeled high-back chair. In front of him, it was a long counter table what was supposed to be used when attending the customers of the store. There were six laptops placed in a row on the table. Interconnected cables were lined on the floor. Some cables were plugged into extension sockets while the others were connecting the other five laptops to the one he was currently using with a router.

The screen on the laptop he was using kept switching and every time he did something at the current screen, the screen of one of the other laptops would also change. Mark was using the laptop in front of him as the server and controlled the other laptops by remote access. 

What was he doing? Mark was downloading a lot of things with haste, Anime, Offline Games, Softcopies of Novels, Movies, and etc. using the other five laptops. Other people who would see what he was doing would say that it was stupid and unnecessary but to him, these are the few things he would not let go.

He knew that these things would be gone for who knows how long or might never even return as the apocalypse ensued. He was an Otaku after all.

Satisfied with how much he did, he extended his hand upwards and stretched his back. He sat here for about an hour already so his body felt stiff. 

Mark looked outside the store. The people who survived the massacre that happened inside the TechZone were proactively cleaning the place.

When they finished killing all the zombies in this place more than an hour ago, including the zombies stuck inside some stores, the people inside the closed store voluntarily went out of hiding. There were only twenty-three of them. They had been watching all what transpired inside the TechZone through the gaps and holes on the steel shutters that protected them.

As the survivors stepped out of the store they hid at, many of them found their own places and vomited while the rest had pale faces as they looked around. When they were hiding, what they could see outside was limited and that was why they had extreme reactions after seeing the whole scene. That was just how nauseating the aftermath of the event inside the TechZone was.

It was then that the shutters in front of another closed store were pulled up and fifteen people came out. Surprisingly, the ones who came out were survivors that came from the floors below. 

Mark expected it that there were people hiding in that store but what startled him inside was the two people among that group. One was the man wearing a suit and sunglasses before, though the sunglasses were missing now. The other was a man in his twenty's who had a shaggy short hair, raised nose and sharp eyes, wearing a dirty-yellow uniform and black slacks. He remembered that this guy was among the group of college students he saw before, together with Ange and Paula.

When that student saw Paula, he ran towards her and gave her a tight hug. Paula was startled and she immediately pushed the man away. Paula's face really looked bitter and sad. Still, the man did not stop on trying to talk to her. Even if he did not receive any reply.

Seeing what was happening and since the place was already cleared of zombies, he decided to fetch the girls left on the rooftop.

As Mark walked back into the TechZone along with the girls, he could see some of the survivors crying beside some of the bodies while some of them were looking around checking the bodies one by one.

When Reyah followed Mark and entered carrying her daughter, her face immediately paled and she covered her daughter's eyes. She then saw the dead children inside. By reflex, she hugged her daughter tighter as negative thoughts entered her mind. Seeing her reaction, Mark led her to one of the clean stores to sit down and bring her daughter away from the gruesome scene.

Ange also paled when she entered but the pale color of her face turned red when she saw Paula being pestered by the male student. She immediately stood between the two protecting Paula behind her. The male student did not immediately recognize Ange as she came wearing her armor and helmet so he protested and question who she is. When she removed her helmet, the male's face turned pale but he still tried to argue back. 

He was then flung away by a single right straight from Ange to his face. If Paula did not stop her, she might have done more than just that.

Mei on the other hand had no reaction on what she saw inside. She even stared at the mangled bodies a few times while following behind Mark. 

By this time, Mark already removed his helmet as he felt suffocated after wearing it for a long time. Because of this, they could see his face not showing any emotion as his gaze roamed at the dead bodies.

Ange noticed that Mark and Mei who were walking around without changes in their faces while looking at the nauseating scene around them. She then said something, though not loud, was enough to be heard by Mark. He then coldly glared at Ange making her hide behind Paula.

Ange just dubbed the two as the "Broken Couple".

Well, who would not think of that after seeing their unchanging expressions?

Still, many of the males inside could not help but glance or even stare at Mei. She could only move closer to Mark and held his left arm as she tried to shrink away from those gazes.

Feeling her insecurity, Mark immediately brought Mei out after bringing the mother and daughter into a store. He also called Paula and Ange who followed without a second thought. They only wished to find a reason to get away from this lecher. Still, the male student tried to follow the two. 

That time though, it was Mark who blocked him. Mark did not call him so there should be no reason for him to follow. The student tried to argue with him flaunting his relation to the two girls. Apparently, this guy was Paula's boyfriend.

As Mark was already irritated with this guy as he also threw gazes at Mei before and his gaze was a very unpleasant one.  So, Mark went for a harsher move.

He pulled his shotgun from his side and shoved the barrel at the guy's forehead and said in a very cold voice.

"I ONLY CALLED THE TWO OF THEM AND NOT YOU. SO, SCRAM."

The male student paled and his back was drenched in cold sweat. He gulped before he nodded and backed off slowly.

When the hindrance was gone, he brought the girls at a storage room of a certain store. Inside, there were a few round containers of mineral water, cosmetic products like soap and perfume, there was even a set of gel plaster, and looking around, the large storage room had clothes, lots and lots of women's clothes.

Ange and Paula immediately understood what Mark wanted them to do. The two looked at Mei then to Mark and nodded. He did not have to say much about it. Mark told them what clothes they needed to choose using a zombie apocalypse perspective before he stepped out of the room. Outside, he leaned on the wall beside the door and stood there guarding the room.

While waiting, Mark fiddled with his phone and checked if the mall's free Wi-Fi was still working. There, though as slow like a snail as usual, he still managed to connect to the internet. Seeing this, he felt happy. He would be able to proceed through his plans and gather information at the same time.

He then opened the social media account that he rarely opened and logged in. While reading the posts of his friends online, it seemed many of them were trapped on their work places or at home. Some were even calling for help. The desperation was present with a few of them that they even posted their addresses online despite the danger it could bring.

At that time, Mark realized that he had to change some of his plans.

It was just a normal morning but it was unknown to many that the apocalypse already started.

The origin was not determined but the infected started to appear after a cosmic event happened just outside of the Earth’s atmosphere.

The people and animals turned into man-eating mutants and zombies while some of the lucky ones gained superhuman abilities. Every living creature that had not "turned" started to evolve as the whole world was affected by the Mutagen. 

Follow Mark, an Otaku, a Gamer and a Shut-in that got trapped in the middle of the apocalypse due to an uncanny reason. Using his unconventional thinking, knowledge and abilities, how far can he go in surviving the apocalypse filled with zombies, mutated beings and dangerous people as a survivor in an overpopulated country?

Seeing the Weibo post Mo Xiaoqing posted a month ago, Xu Moyan felt that something was fishy no matter how she looked at it.
It mentioned letting Qing Siyu and Qi Shaofeng continue the previous affinity they had. From the way it sounded, why did it feel like similarly, Mo Xiaoqing wanted to continue the former predestined affinity with Wei Zilin?
She knew that the dubbing for the movie, "Massacre", was different from dubbing for a game. The NCD of the game which she dubbed could be done at home and it was acceptable for it to be fine-tuned at the production stage later on.
However, the "Massacre" could be regarded as the biggest production of the country at the time, having an immense amount of investment. At that time, the entertainment news reported on it scrupulously. It was certain that one had to go to a professional recording studio to dub for a movie. In particular, Qi Shaofeng and Qing Siyu had a lot of scenes together. Wei Zilin and Mo Xiaoqing also probably opted for parts that specifically only had interactions with other people.
As Mo Xiaoqing has kept in touch with Wei Zilin, it was very normal to have thoughts about him. 
Thus, Xu Moyan looked at him with a teasing gaze, "Do you think Mo Xiaoqing is having thoughts about you huh?"
Wei Zilin did not mind the question as his eyes were focused on her. At the corner where the fragrance of the coffee pervaded, he flashed a warm smile, "I don't know, I never noticed her. I don't even remember what she looks like. It seems I didn't really get a good look at her properly."
"The amount you two have acted alongside one another is quite substantial." Xu Moyan said in shock; her eyes opened widely looking surprised and innocent.
"Yes, but I'm not someone who dubs professionally; I have a career to be busy about. I was called in by Zhuo'zi to go over and help with a bit of dubbing but the condition I agreed on at the time was that it had to work around my schedule. For the greater part of the time, I'd go to the recording studio after work at night. Only me and the few who hadn't finished dubbing would remain in the recording studio. Since I'm only responsible for Qi Shaofeng's part, I didn't need to work together with Mo Xiaoqing. Sometimes I'll dub for a while when I'm not particularly busy at the company on that day or I'll do it during the weekends. I actually met her a few times, but I've never dubbed in the same recording studio together with her." Wei Zilin finished explaining earnestly.
Looking at her with a stifled smile, he slightly grazed the tip of her nose, "So I don't interact with her much and you don't have to be jealous."
Although this was what he said, he was smiling with joy overflowing in his black pupils, as if he was happy that she felt jealous. 
Xu Moyan felt that she might turn into a vinegar jar[1] because of him.
Slightly puffing up her cheeks, she said in a soft voice, "I don't really consider it as feeling jealous. I just think that what she said doesn't really feel right."
"Does this stem from women's intuition?" Wei Zilin asked, smiling.
Being stared at by him made her uneasy, Xu Moyan's gaze fluttered a little, "You could say that."
Wei Zilin pulled up Mo Xiaoqing's Weibo again and showed it to Xu Moyan. Beneath the Weibo post, she posted yesterday in the middle of the night; a bunch of Mo Xiaoqing's fans were comforting her in the comment section. 
"Qing-chan you're the best."
"Qing-chan, how can you be so kind? Your job has been snatched by someone else, yet you still want to help her promote it. Do you know you get bullied by people very easily as you're so kind?"
"I feel so sorry for you, Qing-chan. I think she knows you're so kind, that's why she dares bully you this way. Although we like the kind-hearted you, you also have to know when to stand up for yourself!"
"She doesn't dub well at all. A layman is indeed a layman; her voice cannot be heard. Forego the fact that her voice doesn't have a unique quality to it, but her dubbing doesn't consist of any particular technique and sounds slightly pretentious as well. Such work truly cannot be given credit especially after having obtained the job through a back door."
"Isn't she seducing Yu Linling and Guan Xuan from Nan Yin to become popular? This woman is certainly very sly. What a pity that she is notorious now, instead of famous. Ha ha ha ha ha ha."
"I wonder how "Massacre OL" will turn out having someone like her who likes to stir up drama. We must make Nan Yin regret asking her to dub. It's pointless trying to get things through a back door!"
Mo Xiaoqing cleverly chose to remain silent regarding the comments of these fans and did not reply to anyone.
Xu Moyan returned the phone to Wei Zilin and smiled with indifference, "Don't worry, I'm alright. The matter is only occurring online anyway, and it won't affect me. I'm so glad now that my identity hasn't been exposed. Letting them scold me online can't hurt. I just didn't expect that merely dubbing for a game can actually involve plotting like "Beyond the Realm of Conscience"."[2]
"It's not easy working in the dubbing industry. As it's all behind the scenes, wanting to become well-known is very difficult. Currently, only a few people are recognized in the entire industry. Those who are unknown struggle to get gigs and they have to work hard in fighting for it. Mo Xiaoqing is exactly like this; she obviously wants to take this opportunity to use you to become popular. Besides, "Massacre OL" is released by Nan Yin. Working with Nan Yin is such a large blessing in itself, exposure won't be something to worry about." Wei Zilin explained, slightly pondering and squinting his eyes.
Mo Xiaoqing's must be blind for wanting to use his woman to become popular.
Mo Xiaoqing was not blamed for being like this as Mo Xiaoqing absolutely had no idea about Yu Linling's true identity.
At the time, Wei Zilin had been requested by Han Zhuoli to go help out, it would be like help just fell from the sky. With that being said, the level of quality in his work was of a very high caliber and it was difficult to come across. Though his techniques were perhaps lackluster, the deficit in technique could be salvaged by his voice. In addition, Wei Zilin had high acuity, so he grasped a plethora of techniques within a short period of time. The quality of his dubbing did not fall short of those who dubbed professionally. Therefore, no one fretted over the fact that he appeared out of nowhere. 
On top of that, Wei Zilin wanted to keep a low profile. Thus, Han Zhuoli did not go to the recording studio and only spoke to the director through the phone.
Although the director took great care of Wei Zilin and speculated that Wei Zilin might know someone on the inside, the director did not read into it too much. He did not realize Wei Zilin's true identity and that he was actually brought in by Han Zhuoli.
Despite so, Mo Xiaoqing also deeply remembered Wei Zilin on the several occasions that they met.
Some men do not need the assistance of status and money, merely depending on personal charisma. They could still make people admire them wholeheartedly and incessantly. This would then be Wei Zilin. 
Mo Xiaoqing only thought that Yu Linling was a man full of charisma then and had a particularly favorable impression of him, but she did not know that he was Wei Zilin.
Thus, she only now had the guts to use Xu Moyan to be popular. 
Nevertheless, Xu Moyan did not take the matter seriously, so her mood was not affected.
When Wei Zilin saw that, he felt relieved. After the two of them finished drinking coffee, Wei Zilin decided that since they had nothing to do, he would take her to go watch a movie.
Come to think of it, the two of them had not yet gone to the cinema for a date. 
On that afternoon, "Massacre OL", including Nan Jingheng himself had made a statement.
The official Weibo account of "Massacre OL" stated that they had never invited Mo Xiaoqing before. On the contrary, Mo Xiaoqing took the initiative to contact their company, expressing her desire to dub for Qing Siyu. 
However, the official Weibo account said without showing any deference that Mo Xiaoqing maybe suited to dub for the movie as the sound effect was different from the game when it was being played at the cinema but she was not of a high enough quality to work on the game.
While "Massacre OL" was selecting people to dub, what would be considered first was whether the voice corresponded with the distinct characteristic of the game or not; the important points of selecting a game character were different from the movie. The other very significant deciding factor was the popularity of the voice actor on the Internet.
Thus, the majority of the NPC voice actors of "Massacre OL" were popular online voice actors. They may not be very famous in real life and never took any gig of commercial dubbing previously, yet they had a respectable reputation in the fictional world of anime, comics and games, and able to call for a very large number of fans. 
Even if some commercial voice actors were invited, it was not difficult to discover that they were all gurus who turned into commercial voice actors from regular online voice actors. Even if they did not dub online, they still had a large number of loyal fans on the Internet. 
This was one strength that the commercial voice actors did not possess. 
On the other hand, Mo Xiaoqing was not considered famous in commercial dubbing and had much lesser fans compared to other online voice actors. As a result, she did not have the power to rally people.
Therefore, Mo Xiaoqing would not be chosen even if Moyan was not selected.
As for Moyan, the boss appointed her after hearing her voice. It also went through the approval of the professional staff, thinking that she truly suited the set up that was given to Qing Siyu in the game.
Regardless of the timbre or the popularity on the Internet, she corresponded with the requirement of "Massacre OL".
Apart from Massacre OL Official, Nan Jingheng also posted a statement on Weibo.
He said that only the developers of the company behind the game and those at a senior level knew about "Massacre OL" wanting to update the game, creating new ranks, maps, duplication, and NPC. Before "Massacre OL" made an official release, he only let it spill that one time at Weibo.
However, the news was always kept confidential before this. Of course, it did not prevent Mo Xiaoqing from making use of connections to discover the news.
That being said, the company had never publicly recruited anyone to dub and never contacted Mo Xiaoqing before. They never even explicitly or implicitly stated that they intended to let Mo Xiaoqing dub the voice of Qing Siyu. All of this was nothing but Mo Xiaoqing's wishful thinking; even the Weibo post she posted a month ago was baffling as well.
The company and Nan Jingheng himself never paid attention to Mo Xiaoqing; hence, they were not aware of the Weibo post. As she only had a small number of fans, the Weibo post did not give rise to a substantial response. 
To be frank, they would look for someone else other than Mo Xiaoqing.
The manner in which Nan Jingheng spoke in his Weibo post was extremely rude and straightforward, his words hitting Mo Xiaoqing like a truck.

When Lin Chu met the ridiculously rich and affluent Yan Beicheng, she did not expect him to act like an immature hooligan, shameless in every way whenever they bumped into each other. Yet, every encounter had him come to her rescue, from saving her from the humiliation of watching her ex-boyfriend marrying her adopted sister, to whisking her away from petty colleagues and lecherous clients.Whether this is true kindness remains to be seen, as he never forgets to take advantage of her whenever he can. Warning: Some not so happy latter half that comes out of left field because I'm saying my thoughts.

A great man once said: "When I cut my finger, is a tragedy... When you fall into a sewer and die, is a comedy." In this trail of thought, one might decide to be a sadist to their character and play it for laughs.

Not saying that angle won't work or anything. After all, Charlie Chaplin didn't get famous for no reason.

What I'm trying to say is that comedy is derived from the absurd. Things that don't normally happen is happening and no common sense is needed for the fictional characters involved since people being dumb is funny in its own right. I mean, go ask Disney for advice on writing overly dumb characters who couldn't possibly exist in real life at all.

This doesn't mean that a pure comedy needs to be all laughs though. It is becoming strangely more common to weave plot threads together in order to make even more absurd scenarios for the characters involved. I remember watching an Anime called 'Gamers!' about a group of teenagers gradually falling into the rabbit hole of misunderstandings since they wouldn't outright ask each other anything.

It was to the point that Otaku online dubbed it with the meme-like name of 'Misunderstandings: The Anime' in the face of how complicated the story was becoming because of what was happening on screen.

Just me writing the word 'absurd' twice should be enough for those reading this to understand that making it 'out there' is what's comical. Even 'Kaguya Sama- Love Is War' derived its comedy from the absurd humour that is what WOULD happen when two geniuses won't give up in trying to win over the other in their battle of over-the-top scheming.

Reactions that are so over-the-top they are comical in itself are also common to comedies. Even in those fictions that try to balance their comedy with heavier moments that were built to be tear jerkers.

However, to actually be able to overcome the hurdle of making the sadder moments impact instead of making the reader laugh, what is most needed is the inclusion of something 'mundane' in a character's life which can be subverted. There is a reason The Simpson's and other comedy tv shows go back to the status quo after a joke has ended, it is because seeing something mundane turn hilarious is subversive.

And what is comedy if not a subversion of what we are expecting? The reason everything used to laugh in high school when someone fell after another guy pulled his chair before he sat is because something even as mundane as 'sitting' didn't follow the tradition, turning into something they didn't expect.

A long comedy story needs this sense of returning to the status quo even if it has changed a little after the previous punchline. You can't always throw in punchlines without proper build up to it.

There needs to be at least some time for the characters to take in an exciting incident before the next one comes, and that is especially true when it comes to punchlines. It's just how comedy works.

Now you may be thinking of writing a character who has some funny joke that consistently happens in the story. Maybe your character keeps on falling asleep in climactic moments or maybe your comic relief has a catchy catchphrase that he always NEEDS to say.

In the case of the latter: Don't... Just don't...

As for the former, new scenarios for the same joke can lead into an even bigger joke. Bonus points if whatever the character's main joke is actually coincides with some sort of characterisation.

You can have a guy who gets angry all the time have to ACTUALLY go to anger management courses or maybe the guy who falls asleep just doesn't get any most the time due to insomnia. I know something so 'real' shouldn't be funny, but remember my earlier advice, something 'mundane' can ground the story.

To have a higher purpose than just the comedy happening itself, this sense of realism is required and can't be forgotten if you want to make stories that can have a higher impact on the audience.

Generally, you can go berserk with this kind of story since any joke is acceptable as long as they don't are not moral ambiguous and don't go at the expense of a certain group of your audience. I mean, 9/11 jokes may seem funny but we've already got to the point that the terrorism itself is not to be joked about.

On a side note: Why is it that Kyoto Animation burning down is a tragedy but people falling off buildings in 9/11 is funny? I remember a guy even adding cartoon sound to a video of people falling...

Sorry, back to the topic at hand. Your sense of humour is your own, but be sure to be sensitive to the people around you and not be a sadistic bully who takes pleasure in the suffering of others.

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

Virtual reality massively multiplayer online, atau biasa disingkat VRMMO. Adalah game yang selalu di pikirkan oleh para pengembang game. Bagi mereka, membuat game tersebut adalah tantangan. Dan akhirnya...

Pada tahun 20XX, sebuah perusaha'an game terbesar berhasil membuat sebuah hardware yang sangat luar biasa, yaitu VRMMO. Sebuah game yang selalu dinantikan oleh seluruh pecinta game di dunia. Termasuk aku.

Tapi nyatanya, aku bermain game hanya untuk bersenang-senang saja. Aku bukanlah seorang gamers sejati, aku hanyalah seorang pemuda santai yang kebetulan menyukai game.

Dan saat aku mendengar berita tentang sebuah perusaha'an game berhasil membuat sebuah VRMMO bertemakan dunia bebas tanpa hukum, yaitu Free World Online. Tanpa berpikir dua kali, aku langsung pergi ke ATM terdekat dan menarik uang untuk aku membeli Hardware untuk game VR tersebut.

Free World Online. Rasanya seperti sebuah game VRMMO yang tidak memiliki latar belakang, tapi nyatanya memiliki cerita yang sangat menarik. Tentunya bagiku.

Setelah mengantre selama sepuluh jam dan menghabiskan dana lima juta lebih, akhirnya aku berhasil mendapatkan Hardware untuk game ini.

Awalnya, dunia Free World Online sama seperti dunia kita yang sekarang, tapi pada tahun 20XX, terjadi sebuah ledakan di matahari yang membuat bumi menjadi hangus. Hanya ada beberapa orang yang selamat dari insiden mengerikan tersebut.

Bertahun-tahun berlalu, dan seorang ilmuan berhasil membuat sebuah dunia baru yang terbang di atas bumi. Nama tempat tinggal baru bagi Manusia tersebut, adalah Sky World. Sebuah tempat yang sangat luas dan terdiri dari sepuluh lantai yang masing-masing lantai memiliki dunianya sendiri.

Seperti contohnya lantai satu, adalah lantai yang terlihat seperti sebuah kota indah yang memiliki segalanya, dan lantai dua adalah sebuah desa hijau yang sejuk dan segar.

Masih ada delapan lantai lagi yang belum di jelaskan di kotak game ini.

Terserahlah, aku mau langsung main saja.

Aku membuka kotak berisikan Hardware tersebut.

Hardware tersebut berbentuk seperti kacamata besar berwarna hitam untuk kacanya, dan putih untuk setiap sisinya.

Di sini di jelaskan kalau aku hanya harus memakai kacamata itu sambil terlentang. Lalu setelah itu aku hanya harus mengaktifkan tombol ONnya, dan tunggu selama lima detik sambil memejamkan mata, maka secara otomatis kesadaranku akan berpindah ke dunia bebas itu.

"Cukup mudah."

Aku langsung berbaring di kasur gulungku dan memakai kacamata game itu, dan menekan tombol ON yang ada di bagian kanan kacamata ini.

Saat aku menekan tombol ON, ada gambar batre yang bertuliskan seratus persen. Bagus.

Aku memejamkan mataku, dan tiba-tiba aku tidak merasakan apa-apa. Rasanya seperti seluruh tubuhku menghilang begitu saja. Dan secara tiba-tiba juga, pandanganku menjadi putih. Ada tulisan di kanan dan kiriku.

Yang kiri bertuliskan 'Buat karakter' sedangkan yang kanan bertuliskan 'Diri sendiri'.

Aku tidak mau repot dan langsung memilih yang kanan.

Saat itu juga, aku seperti tertarik masuk ke dalam lubang cacing berwarna hitam. Dan hanya butuh waktu sekitar dua detik untukku untuk tahu bahwa sekarang aku ada di dunia game.

Ini, sangat luar biasa.

Pembuka'an game baru akan di mulai setengah jam lagi, tapi sudah ada banyak pemain yang Online dan sedang berbincang-bincang dengan sesama player.

Aku melihat tubuhku sendiri. Aku memakai sepatu kulit hitam dan celana hitam bersama'an dengan pelindung lutut dan tulang kering. Aku juga memakai sebuah baju lengan panjang berwarna hitam lengkap dengan pelindung dada, siku, dan juga sarung tangan kulit berwarna coklat.

Ini keren.

Aku memegang rambutku, dan merasakan panjang rambutku sama persis dengan panjang rambutku di dunia nyata. Ngomong-ngomong, panjang rambutku adalah sepuluh centi. Aku pernah mengukurnya menggunakan penggaris, dan berakhir Ibuku menjambak rambutku agar aku mencukurnya. Tapi aku menolak dengan lembut.

Di depanku, di sampingku, dan di belakangku. Semuanya di penuhi oleh gedung-gedung tinggi dan beberapa robot yang berjalan-jalan. Robot? Benar juga! Dunia ini sudah maju.

"Hei!"

Seorang pria berkepala plontos melambaikan tangannya ke arahku sambil berlari.

"A-Apa? Apa kita pernah bertemu?" Tanyaku.

Pria botak itu tertawa bodoh, "Wajahku memang aku edit, tapi rambutku tetap tidak ada."

Aku tidak bisa menyembunyikan rasa senangku. Temanku di kampus dan jurusan yang sama, Rio.

"Kau juga membelinya ya?"

Rio mengangguk senang, "Aku kira hanya aku saja yang bermain game ini, ternyata kau juga ya?"

Aku tersenyum, "Iya, aku langsung berlari membeli game ini, karena jumlah Hardwarenya hanya sepuluh ribu saja."

"Acara pembuka'annya akan di mulai, ayo ke pusat kota!"

"Pusat kota?"

"Aku rasa sama seperti biasanya, kau selalu langsung saja bermain tanpa tahu tempat-tempatnya."

Aku tertawa bodoh.

Setelah itu, kami langsung berlari menuju pusat kota. Yang mana tempat ini terlihat sangat luas. Tentu saja, tempat ini di desain untuk menampung sepuluh ribu player yang hari ini Online. Aku heran, apa tidak ada sistem Channel atau semacamnya ya?.

Sesuatu di tengah-tengah pusat kota itu tiba-tiba terbuka, dan sesuatu seperti kristal runcing berwarna putih keluar. Di atas kristal itu, ada hologram seorang pria tua. Dia adalah si jenius yang mengembangkan game VRMMO ini, Jack si jenius game.

Kerumunan orang-orang ini bersorak gembira saat Jack si jenius game itu keluar. Walau hanya hologram sih.

"Terima kasih, Jack!"

"Kau luar biasa!"

"Aku suka VR!"

"HAHA KEREN!"

Aku juga ingin berteriak mengekspresikan rasa senangku, tapi aku terlalu malu untuk melakukan itu.

Berbeda denganku, Rio temanku bersorak sambil melompat-lompat.

"Hari ini," Jack si jenius game membuka pidatonya. "Adalah hari di mana game VRMMO pertama di buka. Sebelum memulai game luar biasa ini, aku ingin mengucapkan terima kasih pada kalian yang mau mengantre dan bahkan menghabiskan dana lebih dari lima juta rupiah untuk game Free World Online ini."

"Tidak masalah!"

"Sebanding dengan gamenya!"

Jack si jenius game tersenyum lepas, lalu dia mengangkat tangannya tinggi-tinggi, "Kalau begitu, kita MULAI SAJA GAME-NYA!"

"YYYEEEAAAHHHHH!!!"

Setelah itu, sepuluh ribu player langsung berlarian keluar dari zona aman lantai pertama dan langsung mencari sesuatu untuk di bunuh.

Tentu saja, dunia ini juga memiliki bermacam-macam senjata. Pedang, tombak, panah, tongkat, perisai, sarung tinju, dan masih banyak lagi senjata yang bisa di pakai. Mau bagaimana pun, nama game ini adalah Free World Online.

Kita bebas melakukan apapun yang kita mau, kecuali tindakan seksual. Karena aku yakin aku tidak akan punya alat vital di antara selangkanganku.

"Benar kan?" Tanyaku pada Rio.

"He?"

Tentu saja Rio akan merasa aneh saat aku tiba-tiba bertanya begitu.

"Tidak ada! Ayo pergi berburu!"

Rio mengangguk semangat, "Oke! Kau yang memimpin!"

Tidak kusangka, aku bisa masuk ke dalam game seperti di anime-anime saja.

Pada tahun 20XX, sebuah perusaha'an game terbesar berhasil membuat sebuah terobosan baru. Game yang selalu dinantikan oleh para gamers di seluruh dunia, yaitu Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online, atau biasa di sebut dengan VRMMO, akhirnya tercipta.
Free World Online, adalah game VRMMO pertama yang bertemakan dunia yang bebas tanpa hukum.

"How about buying some herbs and borrowing the alchemy lab from the academy? Adding on to my knowledge, this money will be doubled in no time," the Alchemist suggested　
"How much can we make with only 50 gold coins? There won't be much left after deducting the cost of the raw material," a Walker nicknamed the Blacksmith retorted. "Alchemy is a trade that will yield great profit IF the investment is high. The investment of 50 gold coins is just too little."
"Or how about we just create some magic scrolls to sell? This should be a faster method. Even if these scrolls cannot be sold, Mia-chan could also use them on her test," the Sorcerer proposed.

So, if we really want to sell scrolls, we would have to get the patent and selling rights first. The process is very tedious. I'm sure you know very well the efficiency of the Association too, right?
"More importantly, all of the magic and spells that are invented by some of you have been recorded as having no inventors as they could not find the original creator anymore. So, the patents of these magic and spells are either possessed by the Association or by other people who have registered these spells under their name first. Therefore, if we want to sell scrolls, we would either have to look for long-lost magic or develop our own new spells. This also requires the Association's patent certification and the process can be very cumbersome, " the Apprenticed added on.
It seemed that this world's protection of intellectual property was by no mean less accomplished than that of Earth's. It was probably the second thing that could keep up with Earth's advanced way of life other than the designs of women clothing.
Only the Sorcerer scoffed at the progress. Irritated, he said, "Why did everything become so troublesome? An indecent thing such as secretly learning other people's magic even need to be bound by terms and regulations now? Don't these people have any sense of dignity and conscience?"
"Well, in the face of profit, dignity and conscience are not worth mentioning anymore. Not everyone can be as disciplined as in the past..." the Painter said with a wry smile on his face.
"You are one to talk! If it wasn't for you, this kind of misconduct would not exist at all! Let alone all these troublesome patent thing," the Apprentice said snappily to the Painter.
The 32nd Walker, nicknamed the Painter was formerly known as Kashi, his original occupation was indeed... a painter. He had an extraordinary memory and he could perfectly copy the power of his opponent just by looking at the floating runes that the opponent had casted. Does it not remind you of a certain ninja with a similar name? [1]
... So, this "Copy Painter Kashi" whose strength had finally awakened at long last embarked on this plagiarism journey and never had looked back. In just a short amount of time, his power made a leap of progress. And then, by maliciously copying other magical scroll to disrupt the market, he managed to earn a lot of resources and was known as one of the most powerful being in that era. Even though he finally died when he was arrested by the Association and his soul was exiled to the Void, he had successfully set off this trend of plagiarism in every part of the world. It was only until the coercive measures was enforced by the Association that the situation got better.
Even though this man who was first dubbed "Copy Painter Kashi" had finally repented after going through a long and boring prison life, the damage that he had inflicted on the academic field was irreparable. At this time, no amount of regret and self-condemnation could help turn the situation around.
"And that is why even if Sir Hope managed to find a way to free us, I will not leave at the moment. Instead, I will continue to repent here until the healthy practice of the academic field is restored again. This is my punishment for myself, it's also redemption for the sin that I've committed before my death," the Painter announced in a somber tone.

Seriously, are you trying to make money or court a girl? Even if you look past that obviously super-backward, super-low technique way of courting, how do you expect me to court a girl with this Soul Armature body of mine? ...Sigh... I guess I just can't expect much from somebody who managed to enter the Void by living off women. Now that I think about it, you must be the lowest scum among us, Baiyi howled angrily.
"Buy an axe and the necessary ration and then board a ship to the Northern Wasteland where there are countless of beasts there. Each of this beasts would drop a large amount of gold coins..." the Caveman interrupted.
Although I can kind of understand the things that you are trying to say but must you describe it like an online game? Besides, please get your facts straight! The only character that will drop gold coins is the humanoid okay? Er... Okay... Let's get back to the topic. Are you sure that such a long trip to the wasteland would not result in Mia coming back with a baby instead?
"Ah damn it! I did not think of this... err..." the Caveman pondered for a moment before he added again, "That's right! Why haven't I thought of this before? OF COURSE she would need to bring Teleport Scroll or Hearthstone or something along with her during the journey!"

Because of those two people, the rest of the discussion basically fell into chaos. Their topic had long veered off to some ridiculous abyss.
Not only had he not been able to pick out any useful suggestions, he was plagued to death by this group of people to create a simulation battlefield. All because the group was divided into two sides with different opinions, where both side insisted that their own opinion was the correct one and verbal arguments did not seem to be enough for them. So finally, the argument evolved to this: Nvidia VS AMD[3] --- Who has the best performance?
In order to avoid being constantly harassed by this group of people as well as being bombarded by all those rubbish discussion, Baiyi was forced to construct a simulation battlefield[4] for them. Not long after, he could see the notifications popping up in his mind:
"The Lich has chosen the Lich."
"The Devil has chosen Doom... and he requested for a Devil Blade as an accessory or any other treasure will also do…"
Can’t you be a little less shameless?
"The Assassin has chosen the Sacred Warrior."
"The Paladin has chosen the Crystal Maiden."
Why the hell didn't you choose Omniknight? Can't you see that everyone is choosing a warrior that is similar to their own class?

Imagine being forced to live, after death, as incorporeal bodies trapped in a vast space of nothingness for thousands of years, with nothing to do but exchanging past memories with other cohabitants (read: weirdos).  Everybody wanted out, but there was no way to leave the Void... 
Until one day, a young man was finally summoned, as a powerful but reluctant mentor, by a bubbly and motivated but completely naive young girl. Baiyi, finally out of the Void, was the only one who could save all of the other 32 souls from their prison and his summoner might just be The Key to their freedom.
However, Baiyi had to use the techniques and abilities the other souls had taught him throughout the years, and together with his own extensive knowledge of anime and game tropes from his shady and dangerous past as an otaku, to face the biggest challenge of them all: training the clumsy young girl he was forced to partner up with… into a competent sorcerer!

For today Roland had free time, no worries, no town to look after and no witches, though he sighed at missing Anna he was still a man from earth who liked to have a day off.
Like always he thought back to his days of watching his secret shows and going online to vent his frustrations from work, those people always making him work overtime, he even recently stopped doing what he loved, that was... he secretly was a troll on the internet the greatest there ever was, his secret hobby had died in this world and he had straightened out, though he would still remember those days.

Chen Yan (Roland) just having gotten off work could finally watch his favorite anime, he was a huge otaku but due to others finding it unsightly he could only share memes around and make fun of anime to find someone who he could confide in, sadly he gave up, becoming an internet troll attacking others waifus.
One afternoon just having finished work he found a bunch of random users, 'humph you dare to say Yunyun is worse than Aqua hah, today I Rollin'dough420 shall show you what waifu bashing is!'
After writing a wall text he ended up with a poop emoji having destroyed the dreams of FriendlyAnimeWatcher as he remarked how the voice actor made the character and marking the purity and innocence of Yunyun, after bashing the panties thing of Aqua, Friendly apparently couldn't take it, to which Rollin' sent a voice call chat while he sounded kind but ended up bashing and making Friendly cry and ask for a new waifu.
Satisfied Chen Yan (Roland) went online and checked a new witch body pillow to which he lamented not being able to get.
Afterwards Chen Yan as the master troll continued his active business of getting some weapon companies mad by spamming the formula of gunpowder on them.
Next came the building website where he remarked cement was dirt cheap and yet they charged like it was their blood, those vampires, after being banned Rollin'dough420 was remade with another proxy.
After enjoying himself he decided one last trolling post before the night in a monogamy app chat, its name would be "I wish I had a harem" eventually he fell asleep and ended writing some jumbled mess that contained an ero image of him and a certain fire red flat witch, that became famous due to it being photoshopped with Chen Yan (Roland), who knew before he found out he was a new viral meme THAT would happen and it wouldn't matter anymore.
Memories are like a flash of inspiration sometimes they appear and change your mind even for a moment, coming from a troll story it's kind of heartwarming, but not all memories bring out the best in people. 
Roland drifted away from his thoughts and wrote a letter, 'why I think my new sister's waifu sucks.' A sadistic smile hung on his lips before he hid the letter away.

The holographic eye darted around on the small metallic sphere.

"What! What happened! Hey! Anyone there!!!! Help! I have fallen and I can't get up??!..... Anyone? My name is Al?... Help?"

A small wind blew past the sphere as if the sphere seemed to be waiting for a response. The eye was slowing down it's frantic looking around, now focusing on its surroundings.

"How... Did I end up in a dump..."

The eye looked at the nearby wall of junk, the eye slid along the surface of the sphere, looking upwards, the never-ending steep inclining hill of rock, cement, junk, and metal reaching endlessly upwards, till a dense fog made it impossible to look any further up.

"... When did the city block junkyard get this full?... Urh! never mind now AL! Focus!... Wait... My arms?!! Where are my arms!!!" Al frantically tried to lift his arms and look at his fingers in a panic, the eye growing in size on the sphere as it darted around in a flurry.

As Al thought that, four of the larger shutters on the sphere suddenly flew open and from each of them, tiny thin shiny metal tendrils, burst out and lay flat on the ground not moving. The eyefroze and then looked back and forth over the mess of tendrils splayed out before it.

"....."

A shrill mechanical shriek that sounded a lot like a girl, rang through the massive canyons of the junkyard hills.

The holographic eye had increased in size and looked panicky again darting around looking at each tiny tendril exiting the sphere, the sphere actually beginning to jostle around from the tendrils flapping about as if trying to escape them.

"My hands!! My beautiful hands! How will I ever build my mech figures without my hands!!... Gasp... No, wait... How will I ever stroke my mighty tool to give praise to the moe girls of the Mecha Dorm High school Series!!!!..... Wait... Where is my mighty tool!!!"

The sphere seemed to be lifting the tendrils as it spoke, looking at its poor excuse of mighty tool stroking tendrils, when it worried about its mighty tools location, One of the large shutters flew open and a much larger thicker tendrils burst out, flipping the sphere over from the force of its ejection and rolling the sphere onto its side. The larger tendrils resting on top of the eye, that began blinking as if it got dizzy from the sudden violent jostle.

"...What...What is this?!.... No.. Not my mighty tool!!!!"

Another shrill mechanical shriek was send out through the canyons.

Al calmed down after flailing out of control for a while, the tendril flopped away from its surface as it tried to move them away. The eye slowly pulsing and the sound of breathing coming from the sphere, as Al slowly tried to calm himself down, after a short while he focused and tried to examine what he was seeing. 

The smaller tendrils were alternating black and white-colored of small coils incredibly thin and intertwined much like muscles, that gave them the ability to move, each tendril seemed to have small glowing lights every so often pulsing between the coils down along the length of them, and they were extremely flexible, they could wrap up into tight little balls if Al willed it. 

The larger one was covered in interlocking plates that covered its length much like scales, the same pulsating lights being visible on occasion from beneath them, it was more rigid and sturdy. As Al was examining it he noticed the end a lot of flexible variously shaped bits that Al could wiggle about, when he focused on one of the bits that seemed to have a glowing covering, it turned around on the tip until it was the central one and then it suddenly gave an extremely bright glow, his holographic eye suddenly turned into a welding mask on its own.

The tendril moved away from him in shock from the extreme light, the tip of the tendril came to a rest against a piece of metal jutting out of the ground, a red sizzling line came across the metal piece, the metal having been heated up by it.

The tip stopped glowing as Al focused on it.

".. Is that a plasma cutter??"

The thin tendrils all suddenly flew back inside the shutters that snapped shut quickly, causing the sphere to roll briefly from the sudden force, the eye vanishing the sphere becoming completely inert. With only the large tendril staying outside with the glowing light at its tip.

The eye once more slowly appeared and carefully looked around, the eye now had a picture of a drop of liquid at the side of it, making it look as if nervous.

"Hello?! Who was that?! Help?! I was not exposing myself!" The large tendril slowly pulled back inside after the tip rotating back into place after shutting down.

"... Oh... " The drop beside the eye vanished and was replaced with two gentle red glowing lights at either side of it.

Al could "hear" the voice, but he could also tell now that it was not an audible sound somehow, it spoke and appeared in front of him. He finally began to look at himself properly.

"... I am... A .. robot?.. A drone?.. Did i forget to take off my VR gear before i went to bed?! I do not own a drone-like this!... In fact, I have never seen one like this before" The eye moving around on the sphere after flipping around, as if looking - inwardly - onto itself.

Al knew that people could use both their VR gear to take control of physical drones and robots in order to send them out to do shopping or go to work even, or instead play the online games and go to work in the online network. He himself had a basic full size maid robot he had made sure to resemble Alice from Mecha Dorm High school, his favorite anime character. He did not take full control of it though as that felt wrong, instead of that doing his best to program it with more autonomy. It did his basic chores while he reveled in his NEET lifestyle.

He never needed to leave home thanks to her, so he could focus on his hobbies and the occasional horrible job request he could handle on his computer designing software, robotics, and engineering designs. He had now calmed down sufficiently, the thin tendrils he dubbed Grippers, were extremely flexible but strong enough to lift his own body up with three of them working together. Each shutter had three tendrils, for a total of 12 tendrils, each of them could shoot out to 1-meter distance from his sphere or his body.

The grippers were able to stick to surfaces at will, incredibly tiny filament "hairs" would spread out to increase surface area and snag onto every tiny surface that could be gripped. The tendrils were also covered in a holographic projection skin that the body was cover in when Al tried he could move the eye out to the end of one of the tendrils, absorbing light through the holograph like a real eye, and moving his perspective to that location.

His new body was 50 centimeters in diameter, he could also tell he was able to roll from some internal mechanism. His holographic eye was kept leveled when he did so in whatever direction he decided to go, though he only did small circles around where he was. 

The sphere was covered in the same tiny unseen holographic projection system, it worked as both a projection and capture system. Light being transmitted along the holograph both ways. Giving his eye complete freedom to appear on any side of his skin.

"Right then... Console!"

Al tried a standard command with the VR gear he had, but nothing happened. Normally that would have brought up his Gear interface with all the options like logging out or information on the game or drone he was in.

"Open Console?, Console Open?!, Open Menu?! Open System.."

With that, he could now see before him a booting system that showed him options much like the VR gear but not quite, the keyboard interface was not there.

But Al did not get further than that thought before he noticed something jump out from behind some metal pipes, he turned to focus on it and recoiled in horror. The eye shrinking back almost to a small dot, but still wide opened.

A Rat the size of a large dog, with green pustule wounds here and there on its body that only had two-thirds of its body covered in fur. Its jaw was mutated and wrong, large teeth and its eyes were not even on its head.

It noticed the moving sphere and its tendrils and hissed at him, green spittle flying out of its mouth.

".... Shiiit!!!!"

Al yelled and began rolling full speed away from the rat that took chase right away.

On the junk yard world of Sendaris VI, a cargo ship had just unloaded its most recent collecting of garbage from its home system.

As I open my eyes, I find myself in a familiar scene. Hundreds of people have gathered in one place. I quickly panic checking If i'm still human. For once I'm relieved to be in my kid form. Although I am getting some looks from a bunch of people, silent whispers of how adorable I am, can be heard...

A Tall man dressed in a red robe, floating in the sky, suddenly forms out of red ooze.

This is very familiar… Oh its SAO it looks so much more realistic than it did in the anime, I could barely tell. Well I guess the massive figure and the red ooze falling from the ceiling is a dead give away. I didn't expect to see it here, I was expecting more modern anime like Kenja No Mago.

"My name is Kayaba Akihiko. At the moment I am the sole person who can control this world"

Ugh… Am I going to have to sit through this intro?

"Other than a few anomalies that were found. You are the players in MY game."

Wait, that's not how it went…

I open my inventory, It's much different than Pixies UI… I look at my Class, Skills and Magic. All of my previous stats and information is still here. My stats have been converted to SAO, will they convert back after I leave? 

My Class is unique class though... It turned my Dragon race into a Dragon Knight class. I can use my half-Dragon form but not my full form.

Wait… If I use this item, wouldn't I turn back into a dragon? I don't want to use it, I might be targetted....

"Some of you seem to be a bit reluctant, so allow me to help."

"What, are you?" I'm shocked by his appearance but if I dont act accordingly, things might get rough…

"... Please don't kill me!" I bow my head strongly as if scared for my life. My acting skills are superb.

"I shall ask again. What are you? You were not in the Database before, your code and information is almost encrypted to an impossible level, for which I do not even have access.. How and why did you get into my game."

Damn it... What should I do?

"I don't understand what you mean? I'm just a normal student."

"For whatever the reason. You will not interfere with my game, I will make sure of it."
Kayaba waves his hand as he enters his menu. He starts to select something before…

"WHAT?" He says as Errors from every angle start to pop up. Can he not get rid of me?

"I see. You cannot be dealt with so easily. I will deal with you in the future, though. But for now… Have… Fun" He says as he grits his teeth as if not accepting the reality of the situation.

"We will meet again… My little... Error." He says as he starts to vanish.

"My name isnt Error its--"
"Annnnd he's gone. What a dick."

"System, you there?" There was no answer, only silence. I guess the system is really gone for now.

If I remember correctly, Kirito said that the Town of Beginnings would be hunted clean, it's probably better to head to the next village straight away. Unlike Kirito, I don't know the easy paths, but as a level 1… I'm much stronger, as I kept my previous stats. I won't have to take the hidden paths and routes to get there, luckily for me because they weren't shown in the anime.

I check my map and in the direction of the next village…
