Ajith was holding the first letter he picked up from the wooden box in his hands as, he doesn't know whether to be touched by his mother's unconditional love or laugh at how jumbled the letter she wrote was. He felt really touched by his mother's love even though he never really meet her after his birth. He learned about his mother, her family, her background and more about tattoos. He put the letter back inside the box and picked another letter, he slowly stared to read it.


"If you reading this then probably everything is still fine. I'm Arash Richtigkeit, half dark elfen and half human, most importantly husband of Ceferina Drachen and your father. I will tell you more about myself we meet. I believe that you will be smart enough to understand both my and your mother's letter."

Ajith's heart and mind were in great turmoil, he felt that everything he learned about this world so far couldn't even considered to be one percent of its total. He felt that his obsession for the previous world's techniques made him neglect a lot of this new world's information. He first didn't think much as he didn't find much useful information on the books he bought. Everything on the books were the basic information common people required not something an ink masters would need. These two letters from his parents made him aware of his mistake, his negligence, and turned him to a totally new path.



"A member of dragon slayers family and human dark elfen hybrid. So basically I'm a hybrid myself? Why they didn't mention about the accident mom had during the pregnancy? Is it because it's nothing serious as they already feed me with Earth and Heavens treasures? OK now should I feel proud about my background or worried about it? Tattoo patterns? Tattoo materials? Trustable Inkmist? So basically I can't use their tattoo pattern as I might get in trouble. Then why do they left me with it? Just to look at it and feel how powerful and awesome my parents are? Soon he calm down and thought about his mistakes and what he should he do next. 

"Haste makes waste uh.. I didn't thought much about this world as I was preoccupied with my practices with the scriptures and techniques from Aidni. I can't really say that I made waste here because I'm clearly stronger than the average adults of this village but I can't give any excuse for my negligence. I should go find Evi as she's the only Inkmist I know in this world. Whether living in the ocean or on land, one thing Ellery discovered was a wealth of knowledge he could attain through intense study and practice. In the first three and a half days, he lived as Starling and mastered the basics of being a female. When it came to creating clothing and accessories, she preferred bright colors and flashy glittery accessories, completely unlike Ellery who preferred being inconspicuous and skulked in shadows.
"You're learning quickly." His mother informed him calmly. "I like this eagerness to learn."
"Knowledge is power." Ellery murmured. As Starling, he proved that using both male and female magics, she could create anything that was necessary to survive, even basic knives' and cooking ware.
His mother inspected them with a frown. "I think you should focus on cooking meals, rather than making the utensils." She declared after some time.
Ellery shrugged. "I'll admit, some elements such as metals aren't my forte." In his dreams he'd run across a boy around his age, maybe a little older, who often meddled with metals if they were butter in his hands.
She eyed him. "Is there something that you want to ask?"
Ellery sighed. "In the dreams, maybe out of them as well, I've come across someone." He provided an image of him to his mother. "He's always working on some project with a smith that seems too big for him."
Her eyes widened a split second. "Have you ever met him before?"
Ellery shook his head. "No, I haven't and that is why I'm confused to be honest." He appeared familiar but he couldn't put a finger on why.
Siona listening in the background sighed. "You may have already found your one partner." She told him bluntly. "If he keeps appearing in the dreams and on the astral paths." She shrugged when he eyed her in askance. "I've seen you go to them without even registering the change from mortal to dream to astral."
"Eh…I guess that happens a lot then." Ellery was bemused. "I've found fascinating information and books there as well." He saw his mother frown and swallow in consternation. "Is that a problem."
He hoped not.
"Not exactly, though it may depend on what answers you sought." She admitted.
"I was trying to find information for creating shields and barriers." Ellery shrugged. "I haven't really discovered anything that would be useful, to be honest." He noticed she visibly frowned at what he sought.
"Is there a particular reason why you need those types of barriers?" Clearly, she didn't quite believe everything he'd told them about his sister and father.
Ellery shook his head and gave up. "While I'm here, not necessarily." He would have to find his answers somewhere else. "Up top, the world is filled with spies and intrigues, machinations and potential death around every doorstep and alleyway."
"Oh, yes, I forgot about all that." His mother became absentminded. "I'll consult with other sources and see what I can find."
Ellery decided to be satisfied with that response. "Thank you, dragon mother." He bowed his head politely to her.
Siona huffed. "I hope they won't always be necessary." She muttered, glancing at him. "It will make my duties much difficult as a result if they are."
Ellery frowned at her. "Care to elaborate?" If he knew what she meant, he could work around the difficulties. If she didn't tell him, then he couldn't work around eventualities and complications when they cropped up.
"In case you haven't noticed, there's a dragon tattoo gradually becoming darker on your left arm." Siona indicated it with a frown. "That is my way of remaining with you at all times unless something requires me to separate and scout ahead."
An instinctive shudder of distaste rippled through Ellery. "You couldn't have told me this from the beginning?" That didn't appeal to him at all.
Siona shrugged. His mother scowled. "Well, in certain cases, familiars don't bond and merge with their hosts, but those are rare."
Ellery sighed. "Let me get used to the idea." He really didn't care for the notion of something bonding to him either.
As he worked with Siona and his mother, they gradually warmed up to him. He proved he wasn't a complete numbskull when it came to be mastering anything regarding water magic. When it came to other types such as defensive and combat, he had difficulties.
"You're definitely blocked in that aspect." His mother frowned. "I believe I'll let Mentor Ceylon deal with that part of your education." She stared off into space. "Have you ever considered the possibility of attending the royal academy education complex?"
"I've always wanted to. I'm almost past the age of voluntary admittance." Ellery shrugged. "For whatever reason, my father refused to allow me to attend." His face darkened. "Perhaps it is due to the fact that I'm limited in magical scope." He hesitated. "I've sort of hid what I can do from him."
His mother and Siona frowned at one another. They sighed. "All right, I will search out some basic techniques that'll assist you then." His mother informed him reluctantly.
As for Siona she scowled and pouted. "For what it's worth, when you finally find a man you're interested in, besides the one. I'll take my leave well beforehand." She shuddered. "That type of scene I don't want etched into my mind."
Ellery smiled at her. "Then I can tolerate you being attached to me in the form of the tattoo." He offered a peace branch. "As I said, I need to become used to the idea." He frowned. "I'll need a way to conceal the tattoo. They're somewhat forbidden in my home and the society in which I reside." That complication he didn't want to remember.
At last, on the second to final day of living beneath the ocean, Ellery, now back in his male form regarded his mother and Siona calmly. "What I wish to know, is how to create shields and barriers." He held a hand up when his mother opened her mouth. "I just need the type that prevent people from finding things I don't wish them to discover."
His mother sighed. "That I can understand. Though I'd like to know why you think it is truly necessary."
Siona bit her lip. He'd talked to her in private with more information.
He shook his head at her in warning. "I'm just the private type." Ellery realized she was going to be a tough sell. It wouldn't be the first time this type of thing happened. "Some of the knowledge I gain, would be used against father's enemies in the most horrific way possible. Usually ending in death."
His mother blanched. "Well that wasn't something I realized he'd use any information for. He has changed since I left that plane." She sighed. "Either that or he just hid his inclinations very well."
Either way, Ellery didn't believe he'd changed one bit. If anything, after her death, he became unhinged because nothing controlled his wild appetites. He shrugged as he added something else that would make them more willing to provide suggestions. "I've no privacy wherever I live, except in here." Though he as dubious about the latter. "I just want to find a way to maintain some secrecy in my life from my sister and blood sire."
"All right. I can see that, especially after what else you've told me." His mother handed him three books. "I found these. I recommend that you give them over to Mentor Ceylon to hold onto when you're in your parents' abode."
"Thank you, dragon mother." Ellery bowed his head. He turned to Siona. "If I'm going to become used to you traveling around with me, how does the bonding work exactly?"
Without saying anything, Siona touched the dragon tattoo gleaming in the light. For once he'd worn only breeches, no tunic in sight. He stood still watching her warily. He really didn't care for the touch of females on his flesh.
"You're really a virgin." She shook her head in bemusement. "You really don't know the ways of the world." She grimaced. "Well except for the situations your father placed you in." She shuddered. "Yes, he needs those barriers and shields." She informed his mother who'd also glimpsed what Siona already saw.
Ellery gritted his teeth and endured the torment. Gradually Siona turned into black smoke and faded into the tattoo. It rippled and the eyes opened to stare at him. "How are you doing?"
"Hmm, better now that this finally happened." Ellery wished it hadn't taken Siona's probing to convince her and his mother about the necessity of those stupid shields and barriers. "Shall we continue practicing?" He didn't want to think of what else would need to happen before facing his father again. He just hoped he wouldn't remain in his father's possession much longer. Else he would go stark raving mad.

DAY 5, ALEX'S MANSION, SUB WORLD, ??????

Waking up, Alex realised that he could not remember what caused me to fall asleep, he only remembers what happened before falling unconscious and he started to panic, he looks around to trying to find the person he loves.
As he  turned besides him, he saw a figure sleeping peaceful.

'That's a relief, she fine, but I recall that Mei died how is she still alive, forget it what's the use of cracking my brain if I can not remember anything, let's just leave at that now.'

[Good morning master, it seems that you are  awake.]
"Good morning Alice do you know what happened to me and prepare our clothes."
[Sorry master i am not also sure but I think I have an idea, Alice understands master.]

"Tell me what you think happened." Alex said  anxiously as he puts on the new clothes which was the same he happened.

[I think master was angry and lost his sanity as he realised he have lost Mei and started destroying everything but someone or something intervened to save master then created a body for Mei.
That person also created a world system that allows any person to trade for cultivation technique and also ruins. Alice advice master to visit the ruins.]

"Ok now why would this someone saved me and the created  a new body for Mei." He asked doubting what Alice have said.

"Hey look who got a tattoo." I tried teasing her.
"Are you talking about the tattoo on your forehead, if it is, then it looks fantastic."

She made him realize that he also have the same tattoo as her. He told she also have one, but this never shocked her and she just murmured, ' I becoming more close to Al.'
Her chicks turn bright red and she looked very cute.
 He felt like he should just eat her up.
They chatted for hours and they took a bath together, then prepared to cultivate.

Alex sat in a lotus position face Mei who did the same and they start cultivating.
Not long after they started cultivating, they began achieving a rapid improvement because  of the pure dense energy, they broke through to the peak of the orange powered energy mortal realm and their yin yang core have change into a Divine Dragon Yin Yang core, then continued to the low Brown realm, Mid, late, then they stopped at the peak of the Brown realm. Information about the Brown realm flowed in 
Their heads about the ability.In the Brown realm one is able to manipulate the powered energy better and people a able to get a beast flame, natural flame, bloodline flame or source flame.
This flame usually  cannot be used I combat.

[Ding all skills created now add to the Dragon combat technique, all techniques are now copied into the mansion's library. ]

'Now then let's start solidifying me cultivation.'

Alex knew that a very rapid improvement was good but without a foundation it will bring him problems in the future.
With that thought at mind Alex started cultivating the black golden dragon strengthing technique and solidifying his cultivation together with Mei until he achieved a level where he can breakthrough to the green realm any time then his stop and the increase in their body strength. He open his eyes saw that Mei was also up.

"Let's eat and start combat training." He said.
"Okay." Mei moved close as they created their food and eat their heart to contain.

After finishing eating Alex viewed the new swords to Mei and asked her to choose one.
Without hesitation Mei took the black sword.

"Okay let's have a spar." He suggested, but she only responded with a nod on her head.

"Alice show us a place suited for a spar." He requested.

[Yes master.]

With Alice responds as they were teleported to a arena about 100 square metre.

"Alice will you take the honour and oversee this match." Alex asked.
[Alice will do it master.]

They took their stance and wait to officially begin the match.

Mei took the first move with fast attacking style, while Alex took a defence style. Her style focus most on speed and accuracy while his focus on strength on defence. Mei starts driving him in a corner, seeing that he can't use this type of style when fighting with someone with the same strength and that his moves were most for show of not for life and death battle.
Alex now also started using a style with more speed and accuracy.

Their power, strength were easily matched but one could notice that Alex showed a little upper hand.
Seeing that they have adopted to they new strength and speed the decide to us martial technique.

Mei took the first move again. 
"Black Dragon sword technique, first move Dragon's claw." A sword move that shaped the powered energy  
Into black claws with a majestic aura was executed by her.

"Dragon's shield." Alex executed a defence move 
that created by a mix of gold and black forming an energy shield with a projection of dragon scales.

After the moves collided it created a shockwave that caught Mei of guard but Alex was prepared because of move he executed absorb the shockwave, the turn it into powered energy to restore the energy used on the move.

Mei got pushed back 3 step and Alex attack with,  "Dragon fist technique, Dragon's roar."
But Mei we prepared and counterattack executed 
" Dragon's sky steps." then followed by , "Beheading dragon technique." She created a perfect combination. 

Seeing that he was not in a good situation Alex made a follow up move. " Dragons  flipping the mountains."
This was a horizontal spinning move.

Alex decided to counterattack speed with speed.
Then he executed a final move. " The black dragons destruction slash." This move adds destruction energy to an attack and it is very deadly.
Even if Mei executed a perfect combination of attack, Alex attack was a sure kill move a wave attack followed by a spinning attack powered by destruction energy.

Mei did have anytime before Alice intervened to  stop the match, The attacks enter a void then Alice announced that  Alex winner.

The continued spar and experiment with move as the created the best combination of executing move, making more kill sure moves.
Even if Mei won some matches, Alex showed to be the most dominating in every spars.

After sparing the started training together for team work and to have a better fighting coordination between them. The created some simple attack pattern for weak enemies and unique attack patterns for strong, difficult to deal with opponent.

They continued combat training and cultivating  the body strengthing technique for a Month straight with out much rest. They only reach the first stage of the body cultivating, bronze dragon body. They have learned their lesson last time  and it is better to be prepared than sorry.

Alex was now very satisfied with their improvement in combat and cooperation so he it was now time to find resources to continue cultivating.
 "Okay Mei let's take a bath and rest will, we will be going back." Alex said in an excited tone, he is an adventurous person.
"Okay." She was not happy going back to the real world because she will have to deal with people.

" Why the long face, do not worry I will most likely not get involved with other people." He said in an assuring voice, he the pull her closer and give her a long kiss.

With this they bathed together then they had a long nap. When Alex wake up he felt very refreshed and energised. "Alice take us to the real world and how far are you able to collect thing into the sub world?" Alex said while asking at the end.

[Okay master, Alice can collect any in the 5 kilometre  radius of master.]
"The collect the rare plants we pass by." He commanded.
[Okay, teleporting master to the real world.


Day 5, WEST 45 STREET, NORTH A CITY, AZ ISLAND,
12:01 PM.

Alex and Mei appeared in the place were they last disappeared from.
They walked back to Mr Hans house and got to their car which was interacted. As the reach their car the found seven people who were trying to break into the car.

Alex frowned then he spoke to them.
"what the heck are you doing to my car."

They turned around and for two people infront of them. Michael recalled  who the two were and started laughing from happiness due to his excitement. 

"Hahaha,  so it's your car, then give me your keys and also the lady."

Alex glared at him then spoke only two words.
"Get lost." All the man busted in laughter.

Then one commented, "Is that kid a fool, doesn't he know that boss Michael is a martial artist."
"That kid is dead." other said. 
"Doesn't he know that boss already started cultivating and already a Red mid realm." Most of them started talking of how great their boss was and only boosting his ego.

All of them expected to see Alex rolling on the ground but what happened shocked the all.
Alex moved at a fast speed then kicked their boss, who was sent flying like a bullet and bring down three buildings as he crushed passed them, then finally being nailed into the fourth building.

"I told you to get lost." Alex said as he cleaned of the imaginary dust from his hands. 
He turn around and ignoring the dumbfounded gang.
"let's go." He said as he walked  to the car holding Mei's hand.

He took out the key and open the door for Mei, he then went to the drivers sit and started driving.

"Alice start gathering the plants and herbs with a higher evolution possible, adaptation and high energy absorption." He commanded as he drove the car planning to go his house after he have achieved his first objective. In his memory his parents used to collect rare ancient herbs , rare plants, ancient books and ancient items. He plans to take all those into the sub world that fall of pure dense energy and faster time ratio the the real world.

As the car travel alot of plants and trees vanished into thin are. Alex first stopped was the A Citys Agricultural and traditional herbs Market. He plans to take alot of seeds and plants them into the sub world.

His previous life was horrible and was betrayed by everyone who he thought was his friends.
so in this new life in the apocalyptic world, would live it to the fullest with Mei his new girlfriend. He faces my dangers and overcome them as he grows strong in the new world.

This world will us a cultivation system for power and it on Earth.

After that one month of training they were finally ready for the dungeon. Mickey bought them armors and weapons. Leo chose a sword, Raphael chose a Warhammer while Donny and Mickey chose a staff and a battle axe respectively. 

They went into the dungeon and like any other dungeon the first monster was a horn-rabbit Leo went with Mickey and Raphael went with Donny. A month later all of them went their respective paths as they now could fight the rabbits by themselves without help. 

After they finished the first level, their strength increased to 3x that of an average human and their magic capacity was now equals to Proffesor level and their control was good enough for them to levitate themselves they could also levitate around 50kg object for a long time.

Three years went by like that only thing they did was eat, fight the monsters in the dungeon, train their magic and eat and sleep. It continued for three years and their strength now was equals to 50x the average human. 
They finished the dungeon as it only had 100 levels god promised them he would increase their dungeon when they reach eleven because their magic core has yet to be formed and could lead to danger if he placed monsters that were 100x stronger than them right now. 

He gave them three gifts in their three birthdays. Mickey he gave a black wolf that had the same golden eyes with white wings. Donny he gave  a green qilin egg Raphael he gave a silver dragon egg and Leo he gave a white winged lion with the same azure blue eyes they called their familiars fenrir, Kirin, nala and mufasa respectively. The first year the familiars gave their owners a blood contract which meant that they will die when their owners die. After the blood contract the familiars become a tattoo on each back of the boys. 

The second gift was a golden fruit that would stop them from aging when they turn 20 and the third gift were weapons that were forged from the strongest metal and inscribed with the most powerful inscription. They dripped their blood on their given weapon and the weapon were soul linked to them and now rest in their souls because they do not have the power to even control 1% of their weapons. Mickey was given a golden battle axe Donny a green staff and Raphael and Leo were given a silver and blue Warhammer and sword respectively. 

Raphael Leo and Donny opened their bloodlines on their eight birthday. Raphael got full control over the pure fire and could speak to dragons he also got wings and could transform into a dragon if he wished and he couldn't be burned by fire at all his senses and strength and endurance increased by a large margin and became immune to almost all magic. 

Donny got the power to see good and bad  in all life forms even gods and demons alike and he has a flame that can burn them his strength and endurance and sense and intelligence increased by a large margin. He also could transform into a qilin by will and he is immune to almost all magic. 

Leo got the power of rebirth and he got flaming wings and also his sweat and tears could regenerate a man that with a last breath to life. He became immune to almost all magic. Mickey became a bit jealous at their power ups so he bought himself the bloodline of his familiar Fenrir.he has now wings and can turn into a wolf with golden wings. He has the ability to breath ice and his senses and strength and endurance increased by a large margin."hey bro's  I'm bored" said donny. "Yeah so are we man" said Mickey back at him. 

Leo went into thinking and came up with a plan."hey Mickey buy all the books about magic and all in the shop and also buy Hogwarts year 1 up to 7, we are going to study for a year and half a year into adapting to it and then the last half year we'll see what to do" he said to the rest. Mickey bout all the books he could find about magic and they went into their own rooms to study. 

6 months went by like that only times they came outside was in the morning to train their bodies and to discuss about what they could not understand. After 6 they had finished all but one Occlumency and Legilimency. They went into their rooms and went into organizing their minds.
mickey created a palace of gold in his mind and it was being defended by an image of Fenrir which was being defended by a wall of ice. 

Donny created a magnificent library that. Was being defended by an army of Sphinx which was being defended by a humongous door.
Raphael created a dragon and locked his mind into its scales. It is sleeping in cave that was defended by giant rock. Leo created a swords where he ingraved his memory in the hilt and put the sword into a stone that was being defended by the image of his familiar mufasa. 

For Legilimency Mickey got a pill that would give full experience on how to use it so they were experts in it. Half of their 10th year was spent mentoring and training their powers and the other half  year everyone went to work on projects they wanted. Leo and Raphael continued mastering their powers while Donny went to work on a project that Mickey begged for. 

Mickey went in his personal world and created landscapes and forests and bought any creature he wanted. He basically went Minecraft on his world. Their eleventh birthday came and they celebrated it a day before with god who gave them again gifts.he gave them a ring that could protect them from everything and thus became immune to all magic.

Their capacity was so big that the had to share with their familiars and personal world.their familiars became twice as big as horse.lucky for them their tattoos remained the same.they replaced their clones on their birthdays and used the memories of their clones as a front if anyone use Legilimency on them. Their birthday is on 12 mei and a week later their later to Hogwarts came.

Three other letters like that came together with a woman that was wearing weird clothes.a pointy hat and witch costume but baggy. we had given ourselves a last name when we were 6.

Once there were 4 brothers,they lived for 16 years together, nobody wanted to adopt them because of their rule: adopt one and adopt all, nobody wanted that because the youngest had a disease which had no cure so they lived together in the orphanage. 

They always did everything together, they watched all kinds of movies together,their favorite was teenage mutant ninja turtles because of the brotherhood. At the age of 16 the youngest died due to his sickness, they promised themselves they would live for him but one year later and the oldest died by a truck(truck-kun is out there I can smell it?) the other died due to corona(man corona made me fat and bored?) 

the last one remained for a few days but also died by corona. When the last arrived he saw his brothers there standing and waiting for him, they were happy to be reunited again till a voice disturbed their reunion, 

they looked up and saw a blinding light.'oh sorry’ the light dimmed to a level where their eyes could see who the owner of the voice was.’ Hello my children i am what you call GOD and i have brought you here because i pitied you so i have brought you here and will give you 4 wishes and a chance to reincarnate in any world you like. Elder Ryo's P.O.V.

    "What news have you on progress with the search?"  I ask into the mirror portal. The Octavian dragon Elder speaks to his translator in the primordial language of the mythical creatures. He then comes forth to the mirror and into its view. The boy stands beside the dragon Elder's large head.

    "The Elder says he believes that I am the one," the boy speaks as he shrugs half  his jacket off to reveal his left shoulder. A black tattoo spreads down his arm to his elbow. The Elder speaks to him again. "But he is not sure. The Awakener is the one who can confirm the mark. We'll know for sure once she is found."

"I see." I pace over to my desk, the mirror turning on its rotating axis to follow me. "If  I have calculated correctly, she will awaken herself  very soon. I already know who she is, it is just a matter of  timing. The mark will unleash itself only when the guardians are needed."

"Have the other Elders found their mark holders?"  translates the boy. 

"No, they have only gotten slight rune sensors in the Astral Field. They have not been able to pinpoint the whereabouts of  them, though."

The door to my study bursts open as Rick explodes in with a look of fear distorting his face. The heavy wooden door slams back against the wall and bounces off it. The figurines on the study's shelves shudder momentarily. "Elder Ryo! There's a storm of Black Magic approaching fast!" Rick's chest heaves in a large breath and his features relax partially.

"Black Magic?" I say incredulously. But that cannot be! I turn back to the mirror and try and hide my horror with a tight smile. "I must go dragon Elder, please excuse my abruptness. I will contact you as soon as I can. I must deal with an urgent matter. Etunya rilorsil."

"Etunya rilorsil," the dragon Elder replies in his own, deep rumbling voice. His large head dips in respect. I return the gesture before ending the mirror conveyance. When his image is gone I let my features drop and I spin on my heel to face Rick. 

    "There's a storm approaching and it will be here within the next half hour, possibly less," Rick sputters quickly. "I was in the Astral field meditating when I noticed it. A black mass heading this way."

    I can feel it now, slowly making it's way towards the castle. The disturbance is upsetting the Astral field. It hasn't seen such a thing in so long. There's no trace to lead it back to it's starting point either. Where could it have come from? Black Magic was lost with the books, how can it possibly be here now?  If there had been a summoning or creation of it then all of the Elder's would have felt it. It's impossible to go unnoticed. No masking field is that strong. 

    "Notify the town. I want everyone inside the castle. I cannot stop this storm. I am incapable of  that amount of power and I do not know what this storm is or if it has a purpose. Someone clearly sent it. Go to every house. Send out the guards too. Make sure that everyone is alerted," I order sternly.

    "Yes, Elder." He leaves, not bothering to close the study door. His voice carries throughout the halls as he yells orders to the guards posted at every corner. On my desk, I push papers aside to uncover the foretoken message scrawled on a piece of royal blue paper. Its inky letters were written by a very old hand. 

    "Blackening forest, burning mark, forsaken/ Bearer beneath struggling, to Awaken," I read. My fingers linger over the page. A blackening forest... I suddenly sense a presence, like a spirit, somewhere at the edge of town. It's probably just a wandering spirit. Its aura is a lazy navy blue. In the Astral field, its movements are drifting back and forth as it makes it's way across the town towards the other side where the edge of  the Silver Mountain Forest is. I dismiss the sensor and leave my study, locking it behind me. 

    When I enter the entryway of the castle, guards and servants are rushing about while townspeople are ushered inside. It's a frenzy of fear, near panic, and confusion.

"This way, please!" I shout over the commotion. I wave my hand towards the ballroom which is large enough to hold everyone. It's hundred foot doors open when I whisper a rune. They tower over us as they echo on their hinges. The townspeople look to me and follow as I lead them into the vast ballroom. There's a steady pour of them streaming through the foyer into the castle. "Please make yourself comfortable. I will explain when everyone is inside!" I yell to reassure them.

Axion has never really known what she wanted to do in life and when she turns 18 she is faced with this question. 

Her whole life she has lived in Cobblestone, the biggest town in Kunari, and has never left. Her mother struggles to keep food on their plate while Axion is shunned by everyone else around her. No one wants to go near the girl with the strange tattoo, something she was born with. 

Axion always wondered what it meant while also longing to see other places. She had read many books on the other realms and of mystical places. Floating pieces of land in the air and a glass Castle in the sky. Other races and exciting adventures. She wanted to see and do it all. 

In Desistar, however, a sinister evil is lurking and waiting for it's moment to seek revenge. Slowly, gathering knowledge and planning. What will hapen to the realms? And what does Axion's tattoo mean?

"Dean, have you ever traveled to the core region and met the peoples there?" Gin asked. He was curious about the peoples in the core region and how strong they will be. 

"I am a person who was born and raised in the core region of our continent, how can I not know about it?" Dean Alfin smilingly said.   

"What?! Dean, then tell me about it and how strong they are?" Gin eagerly asked, forgetting his hunger. 

"You know about the Sacred Province and different domains, right?" Dean Alfin asked while Gin nodded. 

"The sacred Province is the heart of our human continent while the Eight Domains surrounding it are equally important."

"Many strong organizations, academies, and powerful families reside in the Eight domains. I hail from the 'Silver Dragon' Domain." Dean Alfin revealed.

"Every organization, academies, and families in the core region are very powerful, surpassing anything you can imagine."

"A truly strong person can kill you with a single look; It's how strong they are."

"You may think there are only three stages in cultivation and can easily surpass them, but it's not true. You will understand my words as time passes." Dean Alfin solemnly spoke. 

"Take a look at this," Dean Alfin said, while a creature materialized and fluttered in his hands.

Gin was stunned, the creature looked like a half-dragon and half serpent; Its entire body is covered in black and silver scales.

It's beast-like blue eyes curiously gawked at Gin. 'Is this Dean's spirit seal?' 

Presuming Gin's thoughts, Dean Alfin answered: "Yes, it's my spirit seal – Silver Dragonic serpent." 

Gin knows about spirit seals as some of his friends brag about their spirit seal by flaunting it to before him. Spirit seal can grow anywhere on one's body — chest, arm, spinal region, leg, etc. 

The spirit seal he has seen before all looked like a tattoo or symbol of different forms.  

But, its Gin's first time witnessing a conscious spirit seal that can even materialize out of one's body.

Noticing Gin's stunned expression, Dean Alfin lightly laughed. Soon, the Dragonic serpent transformed into white particles and moved inside Dean's body. 

"D-dean, I didn't know spirit seal can be handled like this." Gin spoke, little unsure of what he witnessed. 

"Haha, a normal people can't do this; Only persons who destroyed at least one hidden seal in their body can do it." Dean Alfin said. 

"Dean, you are a Seal Destruction Master!!" Gin asked. 

"Yes, as far as how many seals I have destroyed – it's a secret. My Spirit seal may look undersized and even cute, but it has the ability to destroy any Seal Opening stage practitioners with its breath." Dean Alfin explained. 

"What? that strong?" Gin asked. 

"Haha, you don't know about the strength of those peoples. Even with my strength, many peoples in the core region can easily defeat me."

"Unlike Seal Opening practitioners, the 'Seal Destruction" masters are powerful with unimaginable strength; Their powers increase exponentially with each hidden seals they destroy." Dean Alfin said. 

Gin was not depressed but excited hearing Dean Alfin's explanation. A strong yearning originated from his innermost soul as if his soul is tired from being idle and wanted him to challenge the mighty peoples of this world. 

"Gin, I think what you lack isn't training, but experience and knowledge. Read the books in the library, it will show you a path." Dean Alfin suggested. 

"Yes, Dean" Gin was also thinking of the same thing, he first wanted to understand more about this world and the peoples. 

"The food is ready!" Mina came back, bringing a large tray full of aromatic meat - enough to feed three peoples. 

As soon as Gin saw the food, hunger returned while his stomach growled again. 

"Haha, Gin, what are you waiting for? Dig in."

"Here, it's your student ID. Keep it safe. I am leaving, if you have any doubts regarding cultivation or in other areas, you are free to approach me and ask; I will be at my office." Dean Alfin informed.

"Dean, you are not eating?" Gin asked, accepting his student ID. 

"No, I am not hungry." Dean Alfin said and left. 

Gin gobbled the magical beast meat in a few minutes which in turn subdued his hunger. He quickly thanked Mina and left the food court.

After dropping the things in his room, Gin went towards the library located in the central building. 

Gin was surprised by the number of books arranged row by row, and what he found interesting is, there are no guardians or caretakers in the library.  

The books in the library are organized neatly with respective sections they belong to, which made it easy for him to choose. 

Gin began to accumulate knowledge starting from the History section, he picked four books to read first.

Days passed by one and one, swiftly one week passed. 

In these one week, Gin spent his entire days in the library apart from eating, sleeping, and training for a few hours in the morning.

He read several books - history, cultivation, powerhouses of the continent, a person's experience, and much more.

Now, Gin was not the same ignorant person he once was as his knowledge about the world reached a certain degree.

The most important thing is, he learned about the kind that every human hates in the human continent - FIENDS.

Fiends don't originate from this world but of a different world. No one knows where they came from, but they suddenly appeared 10,000 years ago. 

Some say, everything happened because of a particular meteorite fell on our world. While others say, they came here in search of a treasure.

No one knows the truth. 

After they came, the entire world was filled with war, blood, and slaughter.

War birth heroes and warriors. Every single hero and warrior of the human continent united and fought a bloody battle with fiends - exiling them to the barren continent on the other side of the world. 

That war ensured victory, but not peace. The fiends who got exiled survived and formed their own continent which later came to know as a Fiend continent.  

The conflict between Human and Fiends were still continuing, unlike before the fiends are much stronger now, both in strength and numbers.

The fiends are evil, ruthless, inhuman and very strong. They are not demons or beasts but humans just like everyone else. 

It's just after practicing a technique called 'Fiend Arts', their personality and disposition become twisted. 

There's no activity of Fiends in the Silver Mist region because the silver mist is considered as backwater region. But in core regions and outside, you could see a lot of fiend activities.

The worst thing is, if the fiends don't activate their 'Fiend Arts', you can't determine whether that person is a fiend or not. 

In a battle, they will be your worst nightmare if you don't have vast combat experience and strong skills. 

Like Fiends, there's another strong kind in our world - Magical beasts. Unlike Wild beasts, the magical beasts are very strong and smart. 

The magical beasts cultivation differs from humans and Fiends. The magical beasts only have 9 ranks starting from Rank-1 magical beast to Rank-9 magical beast. 

A Rank-1 magical beast will have a single Elemental core in its body while Rank-9 magical beast has 9 cores. 

A Rank-3 magical beast will be as strong as peak 'Physique Enrichment' stage practitioner while Rank-6 magical beast will be as strong as peak 'Seal Opening' stage practitioners and so on. 

Rank-9 magical beasts are said to be as strong as peak 'Seal Destruction' stage masters. 

They are smart, strong and capable of commanding other lower-ranked beasts. It's said that magical beasts are the true strongest race in our world. 

The knowledge Gin read from the books broadened his horizon, and showed him a path that is suitable for him. 

Gin doesn't have a desire to be a ruler or to be the leader of many followers, he just wants to reach the summit of martial arts and what it feels to achieve the absolute strength. 

He also read about the 'Contest of Gifted ones' which transpires every two years. 

The last contest took place one and a half years before; six months remain until the next one. 

This contest is an opportunity for Gin, to meet Yirene again and to battle the true strongest powerhouses of the core region. He won't miss this god-given chance. 

The only problem he's going to face is a lack of combat experience and strength. Even though, the contest is only for students below 21 years of age. 

It's said, in the 'contest of gifted ones' you may even meet some super-geniuses who reached Seal Opening Stage and opened 2 hidden seals or possibly even more.

If you are not strong enough, you may not even pass the qualification round.

'Six months...it should be enough for me to improve my strength.' Gin mused. 

The most important thing is, he doesn't have any good martial skills to bring out his full strength. He can only ask Dean Alfin, after exiting the library.
