(Riveria POV)

Riveria arrived at a wooden door as she knocked and opened saying she was coming in as she was greeted with a weird smell as she entered. The place was filled with books as 2 grimoire and a magic array set were at the top of one of the shelves with a number on them representing the amount of money a person has bid on them.

Riveria looked in front of her as she saw a giant Kennel with liquids boiling inside with an old lady wearing a witch outfit that match her crooked nose bent downward with warts on it. The lady peeked through the side of her hat as she stirred the liquid while adding stuff.

"Oh, for you to come here so early I just fixed the magic crystals in your staff, Riveria. Don't tell me that  you broke them again so soon." 

"No, I came here for something else, Lenoa."

"Oh, for you to come here at all places. What do you want if its something particular you want it may cost you." Lenoa the witch said she displayed a very wicked smile at Riveria as Riveria just ignored her as she went on to ask. 

"I heard you heard, you have connections in Altena."

"Indeed I do. What would you like to know?"

"Have you ever heard about a purple dragon that can talk mentally, before?"

"A dragon that can be talked mentally. Interesting, but from the sources I received I have never once heard of them say anything about a dragon that can speak mentally, but I have some other interesting news that could help you."

"Tell me, Please," Riveria asked as Lenoa made a money symbol with her hands as Riveria pulled out a bag of money and handed it to Lenoa as she looked through the bag and put her hands in it as you could here cling cling sounds from her grabbing coins inside the bag and dropping them back in to make sure they were real and that a certain amount was in it. 

"This is enough. Several months ago in Altena, a 'Demon' appeared."

"A demon?"

"Indeed that is what my contact said he said the Demon was powerful it had 2 dark red horns that protruded upward before pointing forward. Its body was pale white with black, red, blue, and purple lines on its body as the glowed. The face looked like a skeleton mask except it had spikes at the jawline along with the area around the eyes being completely dark except for the purplish red eyes that glowed through the darkness.

 It had 6 pairs of wings with 3 on each side. The left side was more ominous as the top wing was a pitch black wing with 7 dark shaded colors in it. The bottom wing was Black wings that looked like a swan as it had a dark red color in the middle of it. The right side was different as the top wing was a golden color batwing with the bottom wing being the same as the other side except it was white with some blue in it. The middle wings were purple scaled wings like a dragon."

"Dragon wings that were purple do you think because the demon had purple dragon wings it is related to the dragon I am talking about?"

I believed they may have a connection as both seem to be quite as powerful as you see with the dragon even when it got hit by your familia barrage of attacks it still survived. The demon, however, is said to be dead as it appeared in Altena and destroyed 3 familias. This 3 familia were Veles, Kalfu, and Enki familias."

"Enki familia didn't they have a level 5 that was just promoted."

"Indeed not only that the other had a total of 5 level 4, 18 level 3, and 43 level 2 along with countless level 1s, yet they were all destroyed by the 'Demon'. All 3 gods were sent back to heaven, but..."

Riveria sighed as she fished out a smaller coin pouch and gave it to Lenoa, as the witch continued. "but it is said that the demon during their ascension back to heaven had managed to attack all 3 gods in that period actually harming the gods as it is even said that Veles was 'devoured' by the 'demon' and the other 2 were killed."

"What!?"

"Well there is no proof that this happens, but many did not take the chance and attack the demon and annihilated it from existence. Oh, this is a forbidden subject to Altena so don't let rumors spread or else both your head and mine will no longer be attached to our shoulders." Lenoa said while giggling.

Riveria had a stunned and apprehensive as she began to wonder. "These two are different as one died, but you said they may have a connection."

"Indeed, in many myths that are spread of an ancient time when humanity was prosperous. It said that there was a magic using hand signs, talking dragons, that raised people and trained with them, nine-tail foxes, animals that can transform to become human, and many others. oh right your ancestors are said to be from those myths too right? No biggy the demon and dragon could be related to those myths."

"Where can I find information about them." Lenoa pointed at 3 giant books and said "These 3 books contained the remainder of the myths that were told as most were either lost in time or destroyed by the dungeon spawn as they arrived at the surface and/or the gods that considered the legends blaspheme and destroyed them.

These books are what was written about the little parts of the myths that survived and was recorded down by many people who are 'fascinated' by the ancient history." Riveria looked and ask Lenoa how much as the lady raised her hand with a 2 figure as Riveria took out another pouch and handed it to her. Lenoa grabbed the 3 books and wrapped them in a brown waterproof paper as she tied a rope around it to secure them and handed it to Riveria.

As Riveria was about to leave a knocking sound came from the door as a dark-skinned elven women came in. She was a beautiful woman who had had long hair that was the color of an African Amethyst with her eyes showing a blue-violet color as they stared at Riveria.

She was wearing a dark violet magic robe that revealed her breast and shoulders as the lower part of it had a slit showing her dazzling legs. On top of her robe was a small cape that covered her shoulders as on the back of her robe was a symbol of a shadow with white eyes opening its arms like it was welcoming everyone into its embrace. 

She also had a lazy playful face as she started maliciously smile as she seen Riveria. "Oh looky, here we have Your highness, Riveria. What brings you to these parts I thought you were going on an expedition to break your record. Oh, wait I forgot your sword princess was injured so you had to cut your trip short. It seems the Loki familia isn't all that great after all. Don't worry if something ever happens to your familia then my Apate familia will rise and take your familia place."

Riveria furrowed her brows at the person that came in. "It's none of your business, Minerva. Plus calling me your highness when you yourself are also the same rank as I am unbefitting of someone with your status. If your people were to know what you did they would be embarrassed by you."

Minerva was stunned by Riveria statement as Riveria had a slight smile as she picked up the books and left. Minerva turned around as she pointed at Riveria "You!...*Bang*" before she could say anything Riveria left the shop as Lenoa peeked through her hat.

"Not only your races, but even the familia each other enemies. Sheesh if you want to fight you can do it outside after all having your kind in my shop is kinda irritating."

"What do you mean by my kind witch!?"

"People like you and Riveria who are anomalies."

"Don't you dare compare me and her together!"

"What do you want!" Lenoa said looking at her as she commanded the question instead of asking causing the dark elven women to gulp as she straightens up.

"Tell me, what did Riveria ask you for."

"You hav.." *Cling* "I already have the money."

"Oh, well she ask.....

Riveria walked back to the Loki familia and went into the meeting which she saw Loki and all the high rank adventures there along with a small blond head elf that was somewhat nervous. 

"Oh, Riveria your back. Great timing I just came back and called everyone in to discuss what I learned." Loki said as she began to tell her conversation with Ouranos and new things she learned from him. It took a complete our before she was finished as Finn and the other fell into a deep thought process as Finn looked up at Riveria.

"Riveria, have you found something from Lenoa?"

"Nothing particular about the dragon itself, but I did find gain some information that could be clues."

"What kind of clues?"

Riveria began to talk about what Lenoa told her about the 'demon' and the myths and legend along with taking out books and showing them. Loki was going through the books as she said.

"The theories and ideas are great stories, but they also do not make sense as it said all these powers stop existing along with many creatures, then the age of humanity comes and science and technology then came. Not only this, but the science and technology caused many to try to recreate the past as they used it to create monster and a core to reproduce monsters which they later grew out of control forming the dungeon along with variety of races emerging due to the outbreak. 

This does not make sense at all especially the part where the demigods who have god blood as gods cannot have children and what is worse is that in these stories on myth is that humanity imagination created us gods along with the reincarnation cycle and Heaven and Hell."

"Loki you say that, but you seem to enjoy the stories," Finn said as he looked at Loki who was reading the stories. "Indeed after all I came down later and I have never seen or heard of the stories before. To think children imagination are this big."

After reading through the stories Finn sighed. "Well these stories could give us potential clues, but most of these myths and tales are incomplete or what people theorize, but the demon that appeared and the dragon could have a connection. We should wait till Ais wakes up as she talked to the dragon maybe we can get more clues for her."

Everyone else agreed as they dismissed and went back to their rooms.

I was walking to school when someone grabbed my tail, causing me to trip and fall after they let go. I yelped, revealing my ice blue tongue.
"Move it you blue-tongued freak!" said the boy who had caused me to trip. I took a deep breath and freezed his feet to the ground with my frost breath.
I smirked, "Have fun getting out of that, ya big bully." I said before getting up and walking away. I brushed the dirt off the skirt of my school uniform just as I reached the gate. "Vyrania High School. Vyrania was the only School district that would accept me in the first place." I said to myself before walking through the open gate and onto the school's campus.

I was walking through the halls in search of my classroom when a girl walked up to me and pushed me to the ground and said, "Stay out of my way or else you'll end up expelled!  My daddy's the principal and he will expel anyone I tell him to!" I narrowed my eyes and the temperature dropped to negative ten degrees fahrenheit.
I stood up and said, "Enjoy the ice cold temperatures because the weather is calling for some hail." It then began to hail inside the hallway. The girl was pelted with hail as she ran away. I sighed and continued on until I reached my classroom.

When I entered the classroom I felt someone staring at me but I ignored it as best I could and sat down in my seat in the back of the classroom. Slowly students began to pour in and class was about to begin.
The teacher then arrived and said, "Alright, welcome to Myths 101 where we will be learning about the myths of dragons and other mythical creatures." She then called out attendance and everyone was present.
I sighed. I only took this class to learn about how humans thought about dragons only to learn that most thought of us as the villains. Which I guess isn't entirely wrong as some of us loved to harm others and some of us liked playing with the humans, but there are a few who want to protect the entire human race like my parents. I just wanted them to leave me alone, to stop calling me names, to stop knocking me down, because I will get back up and fight, whether it's physically or mentally or just messing with the temperatures around me, I will not back down.
"Miss Icicle please answer this question about dragons. Are there more than one kind of dragon?" The teacher asked, looking directly at me.
I sighed again but stood up and said, "No, the only kind of dragon is the ones of myths and they all breath fire as well as kill." This is technically wrong but how are humans supposed to know that there are more than one kind of dragon.
The teacher smiled as I sat down and said, "Good job, that is correct. Now can anyone tell me why all dragons breath fire?" The boy who is always staring at me raised his hand and the teacher called on them.
The boy then answers the question, "They breath fire because they were all born with fire inside them but it's just myths so therefore they breath fire because that's how we portray them. They're fire-breathing monsters that knights must fight to save the princesses." I rolled my eyes but otherwise stayed quiet.
"Yes! That is also completely correct. Now can someone tell me why dragons kill? No? No one? Alright then. They kill because that's how they must survive, they kill to survive just like we do. Is it right of us to kill them? Probably not, but they're just myths so it doesn't matter much to us, the readers of such myths." The teacher said before going on and on about all the other mythical creatures.

The next class wasn't as bad as it was just math class and I was quite good at it.
My math teacher called on me, "Miss Icicle, please answer this question for the class. What is 1889 times 10?"
I stood and said, "The answer is 18,890. Although, had you made the problem much harder it wouldn't have taken me less than half a minute to solve it."
He shook his head and said, "Just sit back down you ungrateful brat." I sighed and sat down, narrowing my eyes and making it negative 20 degrees fahrenheit. "Why is it suddenly so cold in this room? The stupid air conditioner must be acting up again." He muttered before leaving the room.
I smiled, unbothered by the freezing cold temperature. The boy sitting next to me was watching me with curiosity but I continued to ignore him. The other students began to freak out as they were all freezing cold. I stood up and walked over to the ice covered windows. "Such a wonderful day but it seems that the school wishes us to freeze if they don't get the air conditioner fixed soon." I whispered, pretending to be completely human and not at all a dragon. Little did I know that the boy who sits next to me was listening as well as standing behind me.
"You don't seem at all bothered by the cold like the rest of us Icefang. Why is that?" He asked. I jumped and spun around, clearly surprised.
"That's because I'm an Icewing." I think to myself. I then answer out loud, "It just doesn't bother me as much." I sigh and shake my head. "Give it a few and the temperature will return to normal." I add and just then the temperature returns to normal.
"Woah, they must've fixed the air conditioning. C'mon, let's sit back down." the boy said, walking back to his desk and sat back down.
I sat back down as well and waited for the teacher to return. Just then our third hour teacher walked in. "Welcome to English Class." she said.

My name is Icefang and my family has left me for Japan and I live all alone in my house. I have recently discovered my need to toy with the lives of others as well as my icy cold powers. I can breath a deadly frost breath and I'm immune to cold temperatures. The kids at my High School find my clothes choices strange and think my wings, tail, and horns are fake. + From ancient Greek myths to Game of Thrones, the legend of the dragon is one of the most enduring and romanticized throughout history. It has been traced back as far as 4000 BC and exists in all parts of the world. In and around Europe dragons are viewed mostly as monsters of evil intent. In ancient Rome, the army used dragons as symbols of strength. During the Renaissance, fear of sea monsters kept sailors from venturing too far from known waters, and the edges of their maps would read "Here be dragons."


+ The etymology of the word dragon, which it says entered the English lexicon in around 1220 and was used in English versions of the Bible from the early 14th century. Dragon derives from Old French, the language used by nobles and law courts following the Norman conquest of 1066. This, in turn, stems from the Latin draconem or Draco meaning "big serpent," which was derived from ancient Greek δράκων (drakon).


+ In Greek mythology, the Hesperian Dragon named Ladon was a hundred-headed serpent that guarded the golden apples in the garden of the Hesperides. Historically, European dragons were viewed as being evil, jealous, and greedy hoarders of treasure. In the stories, they were generally treated as violent monsters who must be slain by heroes and saints. European dragons could have four legs, two legs, or none, and often had wings.


+ In Asia, and especially China, the view of these creatures was very different. Dragons were thought to live under the ocean in the winter, arising in the spring with a clap of thunder to bring the rain needed for their crops, according to the American Museum of Natural History. They breathed clouds and moved the seasons. The dragon was the symbol of the Chinese Emperor, and the Imperial throne was called the Dragon Throne. Known as the Dragon, the emperor ruled in harmony and brought peace and prosperity to all.


+ Chinese dragons are depicted as being more serpent-like, with long, snaking bodies and usually had four legs. They are generally seen as wingless. How people view them and what they believe about them varies widely, but the idea is too widespread not to think there are some common roots.


+ Ancient Origins discusses a number of potential roots. The first one is crocodiles. Saltwater and Nile crocodiles are the two largest living reptiles on earth today. Currently, saltwater crocodiles live in the eastern Indian Ocean region, and Nile crocs in the rivers, marshes, and lakes of Sub-Saharan Africa. But 1,000 years they had a much larger habitat range and could have been encountered by people living in Greece, Spain, and Southern Italy.

+ Dragons appear in the mythology of many ancient cultures but nowhere else in the world was the creature quite so revered as in China. There, in marked contrast to other world mythologies, the dragon was almost always seen in a positive light and particularly associated with life-giving rains and water sources. Considered the most auspicious year sign, worn on the robes of emperors, depicted in the most precious materials from gold jewelry to jade figurines, and with countless references in literature and the performing arts, the dragon was everywhere in ancient China and looms as large today in the Chinese psyche as ever.


+ One of the earliest creatures to appear in the tales and legends of ancient China, the dragon is most often depicted as a giant and lithe beast which dwells in either water sources or clouds.


+ The Chinese dragon is extraordinarily powerful, and when it flies, it is usually accompanied by lightning and thunder. When, by whom, and on what reality the dragon was first invented is not known, although some historians suggest a link with rainbows and a 'serpent of the sky' which is seen after rain showers or at waterfalls. Carved jade dragons have been excavated at sites of the Hongshan culture, which can be dated to 4500-3000 BCE, far before any written records of the creature appeared. The historian R. Dawson gives the following description of the Chinese dragon's physical attributes.


+ Alternative descriptions give similar attributes but sometimes with the body of a snake, the eyes of a rabbit, the belly of a frog, and the antlers of a deer. Other qualities of the dragon were that it could change its shape and size at will and disappear or reappear wherever it wished.


+ The Chinese scholar Wen Yiduo suggested that this fantastic collection of beastly parts was actually based on the political union of several different tribes, each with a different animal as their totem. The dragon was, therefore, a symbolic representation of the assimilation of these tribes into a single nation. An interesting hypothesis, it does not, however, explain the appearance of dragons long before any such political associations existed in early Chinese communities.


+ Despite the dragon's fearsome aspect it was not usually seen as the bad-intentioned monster that inhabits the myths of other cultures around the world where it is typically slain by a brave hero figure. Indeed, in China, the dragon was and is regarded as being a just and benevolent creature.


+ It is for this reason they became associated with rulership and especially the emperors of China who, in their capacity as the holders of the Mandate of Heaven and as God's representative on earth, must always rule in a just and impartial manner for the good of all their subjects.

+ We encounter dragons in almost every ancient culture of the world. Dragons played an important role in the beliefs of our ancestors and these creatures were depicted in a variety of ways.


+ Dragons can be placed in two groups- East and West dragons, and they were regarded as either good or very fearsome and evil creatures. In ancient China, the dragon was a highly significant creature that became a symbol of the Emperor and his throne was sometimes called the Dragon Throne.  Ancient Chinese believed dragons were in control the weather and water. These creatures were said to be able to manipulate oceans, floods, tornadoes, and storms.


+ There are nine distinctive Chinese dragons and some of them are serpent-like creatures with large bodies and long heads. The dragon in China is believed to be a benign creature that is said to bring wisdom, power, and luck. They are famous for their goodness and to ward off evil, protect the innocent and bring safety to all. Tradition and celebration of New Year in China can be traced to a dragon named Nien (or "year").


+ Nien was a legendary wild beast that attacked people at the end of the old year. Villagers would use loud noises and bright lights to scare the creature away, a practice that slowly morphed into the Chinese New Year festivities. Today the dragon has its own year on the Chinese calendar. On the British Isles and in Scandinavia, dragons were often depicted as wingless creatures. In this part of the world, the dragon was depicted as a more malevolent creature that was very difficult to kill. The West dragon was wingless and lived in dark places or wells where he was guarding hoard treasures. Approaching the dragon was almost impossible because of its poisonous fire breath. Dragons in British and Scandinavian mythology often appear in stories when a prince tries to save a young maiden from being abducted by the fearsome animal. 


+ If he can slay the dragon, he can become the new King and win the girl as his bride.n ancient Chinese mythology we encounter five enormous dragon kings who were rainmakers and rulers of the waters. Four of them were stationed at the cardinal points and ruled the seas. Their chief had his abode in the middle. The five dragon kings were named Lung Wang. The dragon kings of China lived in crystal palaces under the sea. 


+It was believed these underwater dwellings were part of the mysterious Underworld that could only be reached through underground mountain caves and special secret entrances. When the Water Dragons rose to the surface the caused typhoons and when they flew through the air caused heavy raining and hurricanes. The Dragon Kings are among the deified forces of nature of the Taoist religion. A dragon's head was one of the most famous symbols of the Vikings. 


+The Viking dragon was in many ways a representation of the Midgard Serpent, a mythical sea creature who fought with the Norse god, Thor. The reason why Vikings built ships with huge dragonheads was that they wanted to appear as frightening as possible from a long distance. Vikings called their longships "Drakkar" or dragon ships and the dragon was a powerful and fearsome symbol of war.


+ Many have seen the Welsh flag features a red dragon and that the Prince of Wales uses rampant dragons on his banner. The old British word "draig," meant leader, and the word, "pen," meant head. The two words combined to form Pendragon or Pen Draig, a noble surname in early Britain as early as the fifth century. The dragon symbol continued to be used by the last native Welsh princes of Wales, Llewelyn ap Gruffydd, and Owain Glyndwr, during their struggles against English occupation in the 14th and 15th centuries.


+ The Pendragon name in Welsh literature includes Uther Pendragon, father of the legendary King Arthur.

Ever since then, dealing with creatures from a different dimension had become a top priority for all government organizations and forces.
In the Special Task Force alone, there had been more than 30 sets of prepared cases for such a situation, which all dealt with a variety of creatures that may appear from a different dimensional.
After the arrival of the hellspawns, everyone began to believe that those threats were not too far away.
In addition to Christianity which had myths in this respect, there were also all kinds of myths and legends all around the world. Who knew how many were true and how many were false!
"Each country has its own myths and legends, as well as its own Holy Land. I know that many countries have cultivators who summon creatures from other lands. They are not just hell summoners!" Lu Xuan said.

What Lu Xuan had done was to completely ban the system that could summon creatures form a different dimension, as it was conceivable what kind of sensation it will cause.
"But I'm certain that they won't agree to it!" Dragon said with some shock. At this time, he finally understood Lu Xuan's plan, and his heart could not help but be shocked by Lu Xuan's massive efforts.
Lu Xuan nodded. He had his hands behind his back, with broad sleeves hanging on both sides. He wore a moon-white robe, making him look like an immortal.
"Of course they won't agree, but it's not up to them to decide on the current earth!" Lu Xuan said. "I will tell you why!"
Lu Xuan spread out his hands, as a mass of Spiritual Aether was condensed onto his hands and then turned into an earth.

Lu Xuan had used an outlook of the world that completely subverted the Dragon's three values. Lu Xuan had analyzed the origin of myths in various countries, which may be caused by the projection of creatures from different dimensions onto earth.
"Between these spaces, there are endless Space Storms. Even if the creatures are as powerful as angels and demon, they would not be able to cross it. Therefore, if they do not have the necessary channels, they will not be able to arrive here!" Lu Xuan continued. "But there is another kind of place that are small to medium sized. They are very close to the earth, and just like the relationship between the earth and the moon, some people can be forced to cross. This is something very difficult to prevent!"
Lu Xuan said, as the thought of those secluded sects. The entrance to those secluded sects were actually very close to the earth. Because they were too close to the earth, there was actually no way to stop them.
This was because there were too many channels. Once the space on earth was no longer able to suppresses the strong, the secluded sects may be able to easily tear up the space to come to earth.
If they were as far away as heaven and hell, then Lu Xuan could directly seal their descending channels.
It was impossible to banish them to heaven and earth, so that they could never enter the earth again.
"Mister Lu, are you saying that you want to block those strange spaces that are far away so that they cannot come?"
Dragon understood what Lu Xuan meant.

Well todays its the thirty-first of the year, what year I don't know. My phone doesn't tell me so I don't care! Santa and Jack have both actually become quite famous amongst the survivors. In just six days they've done quite a lot of things for people. Jack's even running a ice cream shop with Santa now. Its only open in the mornings from six o'clock to twelve in the afternoon. Before they start working on taking care of the reindeer, Prancer is pregnant. Seems Dasher knocked them up and its interesting to learn that they count as myths.

So Prancer got pregnant pretty fast, Santa explained its cause they finally get a break. Since they no longer really have a duty to Christmas anymore. That now they'll start reproducing like normal reindeer, but a bit faster since they're magical still. So I occasionally stop by the ranch and give those reindeer some attention. Donner Likes to lift me up in his antlers and basically kidnap me. While making loud and slightly annoying happy noises at his idea of fun. Though anyone that passes by gets a laugh at seeing the settlement leader being deernapped.

Today however Jack kidnapped me into a small blizzard. Bringing me to a strange place where around me are six different terrains. Where six giant creatures, representing earth, fire, water, air, light, and darkness. Are looking down at me while Jack is just playing with a snow soldier behind me. So I sigh and take a look at the creatures all looking down at me. Seeing some pretty typical mythical creatures among them.

For fire it was a big majestic looking Phoenix wreathed in golden flames. Water was a Hydra that had four heads and aquamarine scales. Earth had a giant Golem Earth Dragon that looked to be made of a mix of the strongest metals. Air had a pretty big but appealing mothery Sylph woman. Light had a typical angelic looking annoying fuck that had a fake smile. That was eaten by a Ancient Holy Dragon soon after so guess thats representative! Finally Darkness had a Fenrir and Barghest mixed wolf. That looked at me with I guess a smile, that made me feel the safest from all the others. So since nothings happened yet I walked to it.

Where it stuck its face into mine pretty quickly but I just chuckled. While I started hugging and petting the giant wolf which surprised it. Since most would be scared of the moon devouring Fenrir, and the Barghest that has some dangerous stuff in its myths. However, I only saw a big fluffy puppy and loved on it. Before the Phoenix interrupted me with a exasperated screech. The other myths seemed rather curious though at what I did. So with a cough I sat down in front of the darkness representative. Jack couldn't help but burst out laughing like a mad man.

"You really don't give a damn do you kid? Your meeting some pretty dangerous mythological creatures. Yet you treat one like its a puppy you've had for years! If the others hadn't sealed their domains they'd love this!"

As Jack finished his little mad laughter spree, a new voice spoke up.

"Jack Frost Guardian of eternal winter! What is the meaning of this! Why have you brought a mortal into the space between our seals! Answer before I roast you both alive!"

"Chill out you over grown fire chicken! This Biazar Chimera, a human who's died once. A god apparently favours him a fair bit that he's been reincarnated. Into this world but once he dies or wills it he will move onto another world I guess. As his soul from what me and Santa Claus can see is a blazing rainbow. Thats bound to exist forever until its some how snuffed out."

When Jack finished that long explanation, the motherly sylph spoke up.

"Oh? So this child is special.... but you mentioned his soul is like a blaze. So that must mean you need something from us right? Since his soul likely has no breaks to stop it from growung to fast. Eventually making this strange but unique child die forever right?"

"As expected from such a motherly but stunning lady. You figured it out pretty fast unlike the fire chicken there!"

With a chuckle from the Hydra and Earth Dragon representatives. While the Holy Dragon gave a small nod of understanding. The Phoenix kept screeching angrily at Jack for insulting it. The Fenrir behind me though suddenly grabbed my collar and threw me onto its back. Before a childish voice spoke out making the others stop.

"I like this child of man, he didn't mind my appearance or looks. He just treated me like a life long friend of his when he saw me. Sure its a little demeaning as the daughter of Fenrir and a ancient Barghest to be treated like a puppy. But its nice to have a friend, even among the mythological community. People avoid me cause of father being the devouring moon wolf, and mother spreading diesease wherever she walks.

But this child doesn't seem to mind our looks much, Hydra got a curious look when he saw her. Earth Dragon got a very interested look when he saw them. Sylph got a although sleazy look a very genuine look of interest. That angel from before got a disgusted look, but Holy Dragon got a very approving smile. While you Phoenix got a slightly normal look but he was still pleased. So guardian of eternal winter, I'd like to know your plan for this child!"

Everyone had a rather stunned look on their faces from what this pup just said. But I mainly got that she's lonely so I started pampering her as she just spoke for me. So when the others looked at each other Jack just gave the most manic but joyus laugh he could. A blizzard kicking up in wake of his laugh before dying down.

"Princess you've got guts to speak your mind towards these old monsters. While being pampered by Biazar there! So I'll gladly tell you for being brave enough to listen! Its quite simple that child needs a "Guardian Beast" that can handle his souls explosive growth. So I brought him to this space where you ancient monsters are at. So that you could all pour a little of your power into making him one. Before he destroys this already fucked world where the dead are roaming!"

As soon as Jack finished the young Fenrir Barghest didn't wait. Her domain lit up with a seal while she looked at Jack rather intensely with a mad look. Before with a roaring chuckle the Holy Dragon followed suite saying "This shall be exciting to witness a myths birth!" The Hydra and its heads gave a approving nod, joining suite. The Earth Dragon gave its approval as its seal suddenly lit up. Then the Sylph who gave Jack and me a amused giggle at this sudden action. The Phoenix under the stares of the others gave in unwillingly.

So under Jack's guide i returned to the center of the realm. Where my soul suddenly felt like it being attacked. While above me a new mythological creature was being born. After twenty painful minutes of soul rending torture. A small puppy dropped into my arms. Well I say puppy but its a black and red Fenrir, with gold highlights in its fur. With some metallic dragon scale like armour around its feet and claws. six  burning white gold anglic wings sprouting from its back. While it has some black fog seeping out of it. Like that of a Barghest but hopefully this little one doesnt spread something bad.

While I studied the puppy in my arms Jack interrupted my thoughts.

"Woah thats a pretty interesting looking myth that was just born. From your powers using his soul, painful but effective method! So what shall us the mythological community call our new member?"

Jack looked at each representative with his arms spread wide. As they all spoke in unison as if they decided already.

"Myriad, The beast of eternity and all six elements. The one who walks with man yet also not."

Jack stood there thinking while mumbling something to himself. While I just said something that caused everyone to basically do a funny crash. Like when someone says something stupid in anime.

"Wow so I just made a kid with six mythological legends at once. This is one weird new years but I got a puppy. Out of this all that also doubles as my companion for keeping me alive."

So before anything could happen Jack hastily escaped with me. But I shall remember those looks I received. As they completely didn't expect my random comment. So once Jack brought us back, I was standing out front of Santa's home. With Myriad in my arms still, while jack trudged off to likely complain. Which judging by the suns height its already the afternoon so I went to get lunch. After getting some reindeer milk from one of Santa's reindeers of course. Before finally heading off to a cafe that recently opened up in the settlement.

Where I took a seat outside at one of the open air  tables and ordered a meatball sub. So while waiting for it to arrive I made a special bottle in the workshop. Promtly starting to feed Myriad some reindeer milk not caring for the looks I got. Clementine showed up later though and looked at my pup. Before simply asking what she is and stopping once I said a myth. As asking me anymore would break her already breaking logic. My meatball sub showed up shortly afterwards, so I started eating it under the gazes. While I let Clementine play with Myriad to take her mind off the logic breaking.

So like that a few hours have passed with Clementine following me around. Myriad now riding on my head making wafu sounds. As everyone is throwing a new years party around us. Making merry and trying to not care so much about the strange pup on my head. But once a make shift alarm hit midnight, everyone's screams. Made Myriad spit out a giant golden fire ball into the sky. As it exploded shortly afterwards in the atmosphere like a fire work. So this really has been the most confusing yet slightly funny end of the year yet.

I'm not a great writer or anything hell I can barely English my own English! Quality will go up and down a lot but I'm just trying to be entertaining in a freeway. He then proceeded to read "Investiture of Gods", "Journey to the West", "Classic of Mountains and Seas" and "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio".
Other than the separation of sky from earth and the creation of man, the rest could have been done in the Cultivation World.
It was already seven thirty in the evening when Ling Yun finally stood up from his seat. Ling Yun managed to extract the relevant information and grasp the key contexts from the legends. 
He had them all in his mind, made possible by his photographic memory.

His objective was to be able to read the book given to him by Li Yunxiang's mother. 
There were more than three thousand common chinese characters. He used the translation tool on the website to see the transformation. His demonic memory ensured that he memorized everything he saw.
That's about it. There is no need to learn those words that are rarely used.
At eleven thirty at night, Ling Yun shut down his computer and checked his items again. He stored two sets of sports wear and shoes into the spatial ring and left home.

Ling Yun headed straight to the Tiger Cliff for Dugu Mo. Tonight was the promised night of battle with Dugu Mo.
Ling Yun headed straight for the peak of Dragon Mountain. He was as fast as a spark.
"Eh?! Dugu Mo isn't here yet?" Ling Yun exclaimed when he found no one in sight.
Ling Yun was worried initially. Could he have wiped out too much of Dugu Mo's memory that night? Given Dugu Mo's character, he should have been lying in wait for Ling Yun!
That was impossible. Ling Yun remembered that night vividly. He had specifically erased only two hours of Dugu Mo's memory when he had been at Qi Cultivation Level Nine. 
Ling Yun had had full control of the Mystical Dragon Howl. It wasn't possible for any deviations to happen with Dugu Mo if he had managed to preserve the memories of Qin Qiuyue, Tang Meng and his friends.
Pacing around at the peak of Dragon Mountain with his hands behind his back, he came to notice some words carved onto the railing at the edge of the Tiger Cliff.
It was Dugu Mo's handwriting. "Ling Yun, something urgent came up and I left after waiting for you for half an hour. Let's duel another day!" It was signed, "Dugu".
These words were carved on the two centimeter diameter railing with the tip of a sword. Even though the words were small, they were legible.
Ling Yun was right about Dugu Mo being early. Ling Yun used two fingers to pinch the railing. The cyclical shape flattened to a four centimeters wide piece of iron plate which erased the words.
Ling Yun then used two fingers to carve a "Understood!" on the deformed iron.
There was no need for the duel since Dugu Mo was not there, but that also meant that his plan to get Dugu Mo to explore the crater with him was in vain.
Ling Yun smiled and stood up. His eyes were now fixed on the black hole. The crater looked like a huge monster's gaping mouth in the night light.
Many people must have gone down these few days. It should be quite fun!
"Let's go, Little White!"
Ling Yun went to the other side of the Dragon Mountain and headed down from there. It was steep with no visible road, which was really not a problem at all for them. They were deep into the dark woods in no time. They traveled towards the valley between Nancui Peak and Dragon Mountain.
They stopped in front of that old tree they had visited previously.
It was only two hundred meters away from the edge of the Crater. Ling Yun could reach the edge in less than ten seconds.
"Little White, we are going to explore the Crater. Do you think this hole is connected to it?"
Little White fully understood Ling Yun's question. Her narrow foxy eyes blinked as she shook her head before quickly nodding.
Ling Yun didn't know what Little White meant with those gestures, but it didn't matter to him. He laughed and said, "Alright, I won't be able to travel through this hole, so I'll enter from that side. Let's rendezvous at the bottom of the Crater, shall we?"
Little White stared hard at Ling Yun before disappearing down the hole.
Ling Yun was not in a hurry. He ensured that there was no one nearby before going to the edge of the crater.
He stopped at the edge and extended his neck in a bid to make out what was at the bottom.
Ling Yun knew how the inside of the crater looked like since he had explored it with his divine sense. It was in the shape of an inverted pail with the bottom of the pail broken.
The bottom was large, but the entrance was small. The diameter of the top was about three hundred square meters while the bottom was about four hundred. There were no obstacles in between.
It was dark and eerie. No trace of light could be seen. Ling Yun could only see up to thirty meters with his Physique Tempering Stage Level Three vision. The rest was an abyss of darkness.
In this quiet night, he could clearly hear the rapids of the river echoing from below as though millions of horses were galloping through.
Ling Yun steeled his heart. Since he had decided to explore the crater, there was no room for fear. After careful observation, he found a place that could be a good foothold about eight meters into the crater and jumped right in!


Lingyun's tribulation has failed and he has descended onto Earth in the degenerate age. Step by step, he will rise up against the natural order!

In a dark alley where no one can see, A group of bullies were beating a single person each taking turns dishing out their punishment.
"huh.. you are so pathetic and weak, this is just to easy."
"Boss can you believe it he doesn't even put up a fight."
"Its because he can't."
On the floor covered in blood and bruises with a few broken ribs is Ryuji Kaede. His entire body is convulsing, blood is seeping out of his mouth.
"We have a class dungeon raid coming up and you better not be going."
That's right in two weeks the class is doing a dungeon raid on a D-rank dungeon which is a fairly easy dungeon to clear especially for beginners. the class splits up into teams and competes with each other to see who kills the most monsters and obviously who kills the dungeon boss and clears the dungeon. Usually after the boss is killed you have 2 hours to get out of the dungeon which is why mapping is important and everyone learns it as a mandatory class so no one gets trapped inside a dungeon because there is no way to get back.
"Boss you sure he wont make it."- Enjo
"It's ok these injuries will take weeks to heal he wont even be able to come to school for a while either."-Johnny
"Puaaaa"(Spit sounds)-Johnny
The big boss of the bully group is nicknamed "Johnny" and his two groupies are called Enjo and Ito Fujimata they are brothers. Enjo is a well built with the aesthetic of a football linebacker and his brother is skinny but has some noticeable muscles their classes are for Enjo he is a Tank and Ito is an archer both B-ranks. Johnny is an A- rank swordsman. 
After they were finished beating me and done relishing in my pain. they finally left and I was their slowly bleeding out with two broken ribs probably more, looking up at the sky. 
Dark storm clouds started to form not long after and it started to rain.
"Great how could this night get any worse."-Ryuji
Above his head deep in the clouds a shadow could be seen it is at least the size of two or three military cargo planes and is moving fast. 
"Wh..What is that thing."-Ryuji
"Hmm you seem compatible boy."-Dragon
"Whos there, what is this voice."-Ryuji
Just then the shadow got closer and it's form could be made out their was no mistaking what creature that is as we have a lot of fantasy and myths based of of it. 
"Your a Dragon...."-Ryuji
I tried to move but I am so hurt and low on blood that my body isn't responding it's as if I am slowly dying. 
"Don't worry your already dying... but so am I."-Dragon
As his face is right above my body he put his claw right at my forehead and then a dark ominous shadow enveloped the both of us. Along with more pain than I have ever felt in my entire life. 
"My insides... My body gaaaahhhhhaah."-Ryuji
With my body being torn in two tears running down my face a pain that could make a nun cry all of it was just to much. 
Inside the shadow with the dragon, I could see that it was a beautiful red color with red eyes huge claws and wings it resembles what dragons look like pertaining to western culture instead of an Asian dragon. But at closer glance I could see huge gashes and wounds all over its body with a weird blue blood pouring out form them. Whatever this thing was fight before seems terrifying just by judging how it made this huge talking dragon flea. 
"What happened to you are you okay."-Ryuji
"Don't worry about it, don't have time."-Dragon
"I thought dragons were myths, I mean even all of the monsters in the dungeons theirs nothing even close to a dragon."-Ryuji
"pant... pant I am the last of my kind."-Dragon 
"Shit times up.... listen to me very carefully>"-Dragon
"Okay"-Ryuji.
"The Gods need help, I couldn't stay neutral forever and this is the outcome."-Dragon 
With those as his last words he left the shadow, and everything went black. The only thing i can hear is loud roars and screams. From wat seems to be a big battle, I stayed in that black shadow for a while listening to the screams of the battle trying to figure out what he that dragon was doing until suddenly the screams died down and everything went quiet. After the screams and the roars stopped I passed out as my mind and body were both exhausted beyond belief, and fell to the cold wet concrete of the alley below.

100 years ago gates leading to dungeons appeared along with people with powers called hunters. Now 100 years later schools are in place to train the next generation of hunters.
