The stories I will upload isn't mine.
This will consist of the stories I found on Youtube or in Reddit. I'm making this so that I will be able to archive the stories and at the same time read it in WN's UI (Which is so goddamn good). You can find the authors of said stories in the 'Author's Thoughts' section at the end of each chapter. And one last note, please support the authors of the stories if you find it good. 

Like I said, I'm not the author of the stories I will upload. I'm only compiling them to read them for my own use, so do not report this pls.

And that's how it began, the horrible series of short stories I will publish on this app because I can't write actual literature.

Adam can't help but be happy! He received a system! Wait... is he really the only one who got it?
He hurries to check the reddit on his computer and press f5 repeatedly.
5 minutes and nothing. If there are no people talking about it on Reddit it is because there are less than 100 people in the world with powers or because there is no one else.
Adam looks at the action buttons he is very tempted to simply choose [cultivate], but it is better to [study] first. The boy chooses to study and he feels several options, choose theme 1, 2, 3, ... Allocate study time 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours ...
He checks the hours, it is 10 pm, he usually goes to sleep 00:00. But fuck it, it puts 4 hours of study with 3 subjects of study Cultivation of the body, origins of heroes and tutorial to be a vigilante. 
The next 4 hours are the most amazing things in Adam's life. It is as if he were an experienced researcher. No Reddit or google. He quickly accesses historical databases and oriental literary analyzes, philosophy and Chinese mythology. Adam reads it with absurd speed, and he manages to memorize the contents that seem interesting and quickly discards the useless contents for the purpose of research, Adam makes colorful, consistent, referenced and organized notes. After that he begins to study the origins of heroes, most of his focus was on more current cinema and comic book stories. In less than 5 minutes he realizes that it will not be useful to study the origins of heroes, these tales are meant to entertain and impress, because they have to be marketed. Adam will study biographies of real heroes in the future, but his focus of study shifts to vigilantism. 
In this matter he dedicates almost two and a half hours. Much of the study consists of neighborhood surveillance forums, training for shopping security guards and tips for de-escalating dangerous situations.
The more he studies, the more quickly he realizes that it is not possible to be a hero overnight. Much of it consists of investigations and passing the job on to more competent people. 
Someone dealing drugs? Who does he buy from? Who's boss? Oh do they use an app to combine exchanges? Pass the investigation on to cybercrime. Are exchanges in another state? So it's a federal investigation, pass the job on to another team. Police and politicians involved? Pass the investigation to homeland security. Multi-country crime? INTERPOL.
You will have thousands of agents investigating financial transactions, identifying suspects, building a psychological portfolio of criminal leaders, discovering locations of warehouses and more.
Crimes escalate quickly with investigations and this needs resources. Or he can stick with watching the neighborhood. 
Adam finishes studying, he is kind of discouraged because much of the vigilante study just made it clear that being one is either boring or stupid. Cultivation is just a series of mysticism, he will have to see more about philosophy and oriental medicine. And about heroic origins, it is also useless. Better learn about other things.
He looks at his watch, 2 am. He needs to enter the supermarket at 7:40 am. But he is still too energetic to sleep.
Wait... I have superpowers and still have to work in that supermarket? 
Never.
Adam chooses [Cultivate]

Adam is an 18-year-old who works as a cashier in a supermarket chain when he discovers that he has a system to become a Cultivator. The first and only cultivator on earth.

    I am a photographer I was taking photos of the town I live in. Where the mysterious pine forest lies. A infamous forest where supposedly an ancient demon traps and torments the poor sap that enters inside. Usually most people that come inside never return. I drove the forest and took photos of it from outside of my car on the road. 
  I swear I saw a shadowy figure seemingly fly over the trees in the mist. Its eyes were piercing red. It was big and black. It stared right at me. I immediately got into my car and drove off. It was the most terrifying thing I've ever seen.

  We've gone even deeper now. Luckily the map has helped us know where were going. So when we leave we can guide our way back. I have been using the map. We found a dead animal in our travels. It was pretty creepy. It was a squirrel with there head missing. Now it's the late afternoon and were about to set up the tents. 

Jenny Franklin wants answers after her brother goes missing in the errie pine forest. She her boyfriend and her two best friends venture into pine forest for answers. There diary entries chronicle there terrifying search for answers.

I've always had a fascination with werewolves and lycanthropy. I think the thing that draws me to them is their raw power and lack of control, which is the opposite to me since I strive for total control and usually have little to no power or stamina. 

As of late along with my studies into demon summoning I have also started to look into the lycanthropy curse. Sadly it's not very easy. Like with psionics, it's been shrouded in modern pop culture. A simple search for lycanthropy and you get bombarded with things about dungeons and dragons, and how dungeon masters should implement the curse into the gameplay style. On the other end of the spectrum when I go to my book supplier, the place I usually get all my occult books from, I end up finding myself knee-deep in erotic novels. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against D&D nor erotic novels, they just aren't really relevant to my current journey.

The few parts that are somewhat relevant say that there are three ways to become a werewolf. 

1. You have to be born with the affliction.
2. You have to be bitten by a werewolf.
3. You have to be cursed via a ritual.

Number 3 is sorta what I'm going for although it is useless, to say the least. All the accounts on how this work is contradictory to one another. Some stories tell of mages receiving a magic cream from their teachers, that when rubbed on the body, causes the person to transform into a werewolf. Some tell of amulets or baubles. One of my favorites is one from a guy that supposedly was a very high ranking member in a cult. According to him once you reach a certain level in the cult you are met with a question from your higher-ups. "Do you wanna become a vampire or a werewolf?". If the person were to choose werewolf they were expected to perform horrible acts, abominations in the eyes of God so that they can attract as many demons as possible. These demons will then proceed to possess this person and thus through the power of all these demons inside the person, they will be able to transform into beast willing to kill whomever their master commanded. According to this person, werewolves are the assassins of the cult.

With both books and google being completely useless I turned to my last online source, Reddit. Sadly Reddit was even less help than books and google. If it was apparent to me before it sure as hell is now. Occultists have no real idea of what they are doing. Mages, witches, warlocks, whatever they wanna be called doesn't matter, we are all just children running around in the dark hoping to find something that will help us out. If you ask about shapeshifting on Reddit (Or any online forum) you'll be met by three types of answers: 

1. Magic doesn't have the ability to transform you physically.
2. It is theoretically possible but very improbable. You don't have the knowledge nor the power to do it.
3. I am a shapeshifter.

The answers are conflicting and no help whatsoever. Meaning I'm back at where I started, in the dark with all the other occultists. I have one last place I can turn to and maybe that's what I was destined to do all along. 

Demons. They are known as teachers so maybe they can have the answers I am looking for. First I will have to summon a demon and successfully communicate with... it... her.... him... not sure. Along with the synchronicity I had with the house sitting thing I also had another synchronicity regarding lycanthropy. I had talked to my one friend about how I was looking into lycanthropy and she said that this discord coven/server she belongs to had created a room for shapeshifting the day before. What are the odds?

I went to check the server out but sadly I was quite disappointed with it. It was less about magick and more like a social gathering of people who have an interest in magick and of course, no one truly believed that shapeshifting was possible. The running theory was that it's only possible on the astral plane... So I left the server as soon as I had joined it.

Even in a group of people with the same interests as me I still manage to feel alone...

it was a sunny morning in my quarantined and locked hometown of beach boro. I had woken up, had my food, got on my pc, and started my stretches. I had just finished watching Starset's new music video for the new single titled trials reimagined that had just been on youtube since I know that divisions 2.0 is coming and I am also aware that they are milking the 10th track of there 3rd album for some reason since it has something to do with the song being an anthem for the rebels in the Starset lore of the story and it could be the theme for the people who are surviving this COVID crisis as we speak.
turning on my tv I had started watching the news just to see what is going on in our world. and from the look of the state America is in now. a black lives matter uprising is still going ever since the incidents were now set in motion because of the one incident that caused a violent cry out for justice in that area.
more this world changes. the more fucked we truly are in this world as we see the truth in front of our eyes. and from what I heard on the news when I watched tv. it is scary that this virus will stay around for long and will not stop until we are all dead.
as for me. well, I am still at home. witch is what I call a cage now. sitting on my chair I put on a 24/7 CreepyPasta stream for Quarantine at the End of the World. and yes this stream does change as I watch and sleep to it as well since I am a fan of spooks and love having inspirations for writing stories in any site I am putting the story's on. and if you do not know what a 24/7 CreepyPasta stream is. well... it is where you hear your fave story's on the stream while you relax and sleep. and if you are still confused. there here is the description of the CreepyPasta stream.

if it does sound familiar to you. then that is good. anyway here is what had happened today.

inspired by first-person shooters and MMO games. this story is set 9 months after the virus outbreak and is also going to be in the collection of scenarios in different worlds. this story may contain swearing and sex. read with caution.

in the final days of winter. I had spent days. maybe months at home during this crisis. and during that time I was missing a lot of events that have happened around me when this year went to complete shit.

knowing that I would be stuck in the house for god knows how long. I decided to keep a journal with me just in-case I do tend to go insane while inside lockdown.

however.

that changed when I saw Yui materialize in my room dus scaring the shit out of me or leaving me in shock.

either way depending on my reaction. but what came next was just enough to make my dreams come true.

Yes, I am starting my story with a cautionary, because I didnt feel like a three page synopsis was appropriate. So, for those of you that are here for a story, you should take these points to consideration:
1. I am actually writing this because I want feedback on writing style and story building. Maybe you will like it, and maybe you will not. If you comment and leave things like "story is trash bro, git gud", without leaving proper reasoning or background, trust me, you will not like my response, if I bother to do so at all.
2. I am not writing this to make friends, or to create a majestic world that captivates the masses. If that happens to come to pass, then the story definately went above and beyond my expectations.
3. This is a story in my voice. It is not "about me", but will be written from my perspective, perhaps often in first person point of view.
4. This is a DARK Fantasy-FICTION story, may even contain science FICTION at times. If you dont like what goes on in my head, stop reading. The characters, world, and situations are not real, but if you want to belive they are and give me hell for mistreating imaginary characters, then have at it. I will be happy to ignore you. I believe this shouldnt need to be said, but then I see facebook and reddit stories and wonder about the human race.
5. I am sarcastic and brunt, if you could not tell from my previous notes. I will try to make a story that people will enjoy, but it likely will be a narrow window of people that share my tastes.
6. My plan is for the story to develop slowly. I dont plan to have any large time lapses. I want the character(s) to grow and learn as most would, a day at a time.

A former military gamer is contacted by a mysterious benefactor that has noticed his interests and has decided he is qualified for a special virtual reality gaming system test. Curiosity gets the better of him and he ends up plummeting down the rabbit hole that becomes his life. There are a couple problems however, the first being he is already dead, and the second is that he becomes a she.
Note: This is a story based on my perspective of dark fantasy and may not be suitable for people who are offended... by anything. It is marked as "male" lead because it is narrated from the perspective of MC's male persona, for anyone that cares.
Further Note: I plan to progress the story at a modest pace, if you don't like stories in for the long haul, you may not like this one.

Her morning went more peacefully than she had expected, the rain held off until she entered her building so she was able to avoid getting wet. Considering the contradicting weather in Canada there was no certainty that this luck would last. In the morning it could be a sunny day but by the end there would be a full hail storm with the sun still up in the air. In the beginning of this job she wanted to keep spare clothes at the office just in case but hated the idea of it being accessible to anyone. At most, she kept a pair of heels under her desk for her to change into every morning.
Her office itself was a private business firm that mainly did consulting and took care of legal issues. It was tough work and included lots of reading but she enjoyed the fast face environment. There was also a fair bit of variety, in the morning she could be negotiating a simple licensing contract and in the evening talking to high profile criminals. She grew up watching crime documentaries and tv shows, it wasn't a hard decision when she went into law. It was partially a selfish decision, becoming a lawyer would award her a certain status and protection. The pay was also nice enough to stop her from being a complete stay at home potato. She liked to skim over her law school years because those were painfully long and were the darker times of her life.
It was quite ironic to her that she was spending so much time worrying about a potential stalker when she was in contact with bigger criminals everyday. The topics would range from money laundering to sometimes murder, yet she was never afraid of them because she held the power. They needed her for their trial so it would not do them any use to get rid of her. Her success rate was very high so she never worried about revenge after she failed either. There was a clear contract and discussion with the clients about her probability of success and what they would have to accept if they wanted her. All of this experience and interactions that part of her was surprised it even took that long for her to gain some criminal action in her life. Not that she hadn't had run ins with the law but after she had started working here there was nothing. So for around five years she was peaceful and that is why she took this incident more seriously. 
If there was one thing she learned is that to forgo an incident as a one time incident could lead to death. Especially as a coloured woman in this society she was already at a disadvantage. Finishing up her lunch she quickly refreshed herself before picking up her phone. There were at least twenty more minutes left of her break and she could use it to research. Pulling up Reddit she typed in "I think someone is stalking me" into the search bar and hundreds of different threads appeared. She knew a generic statement like that could trigger so many other posts but it was overwhelming how many there were. There were even posts from yesterday from a woman in the UK. What was nice that on Reddit you could post your problems and only really need to give age and sex as identifiers. It helped the readers understand better what was going on and the age dynamics at play. 
The first thread she saw was a thirteen year old girl describing her getting stalked at a local mall. Thought nothing of it, person did not look harmless till he went to the fake school name she gave and researched about her. She found out through a friend and in the middle of the night received a text message from this stalker saying "why did you have to lie about where you go to school."
'Oh my, this is what I mean when I say there is no real privacy anymore. That's so creepy.' The comments below were just telling her to keep records and tell her parents so that they can contact the police. Yet, while that was great advice for a thirteen year old it wasn't the same for a twenty-six year old lawyer. She already knew what they had advised but she was looking for something more. On a behavioural analyst perspective or self defence basis was her main intention. It was annoying that in Canada there were laws against weapons and the hidden variety so a pen knife for example was illegal. She couldn't carry anything inconspicuous without risking her job, even if she had it and no one knew it was fine. The issue was that she wanted to keep it and use it if need be, however the damage she does to them would be under question too. 
'This is so frustrating.' Switching in and out of different threads she began to skim them for any similar situations and any advice that would work from her. After 30 or more posts she closed her phone and rubbed her eyes in irritation. Her brain hurt from all the back and forth in her mind from both thinking she was doing too much and doing too little. The best test would be to carry her umbrella like a weapon and hope that no one follows her back home. If they do then she can confirm that she is being followed for sure and probably stay over at a friend's house. She did see that a lot of people asked their friends to take them to their car, she could enlist a couple of her coworkers until the subway at least. 'Okay that's enough I'm done thinking about it for now.'
Pushing her personal phone back into her work drawer she went back to her work. There was a pile of contracts sitting on her desk and all were new cases she hadn't seen before. Just as she was getting into the rhythm she felt a coworker tap her on the shoulder. Looking back it was one of the secretarial staff in the building. They weren't close friends but definitely on friendly terms since Jane and her started around the same time. 
"Hey, Jane what's up?"
"There's a package for you in the front, I was going to bring it to you but the mailman insists you sign off."
"A package for me?"
"Yeah....but its a bit weird."
"What do you mean?'
"Well....come see for yourself."

Adaya wanted nothing more than to be free but when she is unexpectedly murdered by her ex boyfriend her life is drawn to an end. Only a bitter laugh was left in her as the life faded from her body, "so this is my end...can you move the light please I'm trying to die."

"Miss what are you saying?? Miss you won't die, please open your eyes!"

"Miss??" She opened her eyes only to find herself in a fantasy realm with a new body, family and life. It didn't take long before she realized that she transmigrated into a novel but wait.. "why is the male lead my stalker ex boyfriend?" I WANT A REFUND.
