Zhang Zian thought her expression was off, but he couldn't tell why. Having no time to think about this issue, he rushed out the door.
After he left, Lu Yiyun patted her chest and felt relieved. 
"He almost found out," she muttered to herself, now that she was alone in the store.
"Quack! What did he find out?"
A voice suddenly sounded from above her head.
"Ah!" She screamed and looked up. It turned out that the talking grey parrot had landed on the shelf above her head and was staring at her painting on the computer screen.
On the screen, she had drawn a handsome young man. The style of the young man was like the common heartthrob from Japanese manga, but the outline of his face resembled Zhang Zian's to some extent. 
The young man in the painting was handsome indeed, but for some reason, he seemed to look a little gay.
"No... nothing..." Lu Yiyun couldn't help but want to conceal her intentions, even if the one who asked her a question was just a bird.

Lu Yiyun gratefully picked up her pencil and started working on the protagonist's design. Without her realizing, the decision between no couples or boy love for her comic had also faded from her mind.

A few years passed

Due to him being constantly oppressed Vlad spends most his time at home doing Alchemy as recently he has recently taken the hobby of creating beautiful swords and armour (not impractical fantasy swords with funny proportions and ridiculous hand guards) 

Vlad has seen the armoury on Dresden in his past life and he has been fascinated at how the pinnacle of European craftsmanship can really be!

He has also experimented on different materials such as gold, silver, aluminium, titanium, tungsten and so on...

Vlad is quite proud of his works but amongst all his works, he considers what he dubbed the "Epic" series to be his most proudest works, for you see the "Epic" series are a series of weapons that has a titanium core with tungsten carbide edge, which according to a certain sword expert in his past life is the ultimate sword possible with modern material science.

Not only is it more resistant to rust, has a harder edge (tungsten carbide part), more flexible (titanium part ) and not to mention it's coloured blue (titanium's colour can change) which makes it quite fancy.

Naturally, Vlad isn't going to show off his prized sword as he isn't stupid enough to wantonly gather attention for no particular reason.

Vlad looks at the Epic series neatly arranged before as he stares at them with great fascination.

'They look quite beautiful as if they're made of a metallic blue crystal.' He thought as he picks up a bastard sword and swings it around, he had wanted to pickup the great sword or even a long sword but unfortunately he's still a kid and so it's too long for him.

Vlad then walks over to a large mirror and did a few guard posses such as the wrath guard, roof guard, ox guard and the tail guard.

'Hmm... not bad, not bad at all' Vlad looks at himself in the mirror admiringly as it seems that his "cultivation" is starting to show great changes in his body as his face is getting more handsomer lately and is starting to have an angelic feel to them.

He did a few more swings as he finishes admiring himself, it's after all one of the few things he can enjoy right before he start putting his blades back into his storage ring.

As he's doing that however he accidentally takes out a Chinese Jian (劍=sword), Vlad stares at the blade as he glances at it, giving it a few twirls before placing it back in the ring.

"Useless crap" Vlad snorted as in his opinion the Jian is a crappy sword.

It doesn't have a hand guard for one which means your hand is exposed and can be chopped off as compared to a European swords with large protective hand guards, second the blade is too thin and light which means that it has less power in its strikes and prone to break. 

After that Vlad puts on his disguise and heads out to run a few errands.

Vlad naturally heads to a familiar whom he has regular dealings, these pass few years he has been regularly coming a particular to trade his gems into money.

"Ah little De you finally decided to pay this big sister a visit?" the female shop keeper said.

De? Obvious Vlad can't use Feng Jin so he needed to create an alias, for now the woman knew him as Hua Li De（鏵立德）he came up with it by vaguely basing in his previous life's name when translated Fu Li De  (VLAD=弗拉德)

Fu Li De sounds strange for a name in this world so he messed with it for a bit before coming with his current name which also has a meaning, 立 means stand and  德 means morals. Vlad felt a little mischievous when he was thinking of a surname and added Jin (金）to the  Hua (華) while it still sounds the same. 

So his name basically means stand on morals,  by the way 華 means flowers in ancient Chinese as a pretty boy like him obviously deserve a flower in his name. 

 Nothing like a little bit of narcissism to cheer himself up from his crappy life, and it's not gay to have flowers in your name ok! The japs has Sakura in their names so it isn't gay at all. Not to mention it's quite a common practice for ancient Chinese and Japanese to add flowers in their name.

"Big sister Xia I came again to trade for the gemstones you love so much" Vlad said as he hands off an emerald gemstone to her.

She examines the stone before saying "the quality is as great as always"

"So have the stuff I have asked for arrived yet?" Vlad asked as previously knowing that she has certain connections he had asked her to find a list of ores along with their description, Vlad obviously going to use them for alchemy.

The lady shop keeper or sister Xia as Vlad came to know her frowns before saying "I have certainly put a word out but we've been only able to find a few of them in the list you gave me"

She then stared into Vlad intently as she asked "why are you even trying to do spending so much trying to find those useless thing? With the amount of money you spent you could have bought large amounts pills and elixirs and still have enough left for a unique martial arts technique"

Vlad smiles as he reply "now now big sister Xia you should know better than to ask about others dao path."

Sister Xia seemed irritated by Vlad's reply and didn't press further, the only thing she knows this cheeky little fellow is that he seems to be a disciple of an eccentric alchemist with a wired temperament.

It baffles her though that in these last few years that despite a disciple of an alchemist, he has ever asked for to find any medical herbs at all instead he only ever asked is to find is a bunch of seemingly useless rocks.

Xia Chung Hua examines the rocks Vlad has requested trying to find what use these seemingly rare but ordinary rocks are used for but fails to find any use for them.

If she hadn't known any better she might even suspect that the Vlad's teacher might be a cook but obviously not just any old man in the street could consistently produce such high class gems. 

'Hmm... he must be practicing some strange cultivation technique' she thought as has heard heard some of the bizarre cultivation techniques such as the "sunflower manual" and so on, obviously she doesn't think that Vlad is practicing the sunflower manual as there're countless cultivation techniques out there.

Vlad then cheeks the goods before stuffing them into his inter special ring, he said good his goodbyes before heading out the store.

As he's out side he might as well grab a bite at a restaurant before heading to the market to restock up on his food supply.

He heads to a restaurant to grab a bite, but as he was eating his BBQ pork rice (chasiu faan, 叉燒飯)

A large bang resounded

As a group of people barged into the restaurant arrogantly like they own the place.

A HEMA instructor in a cultivation world

"People just won't leave me alone can they..." Mi said waking up from an uneasy nightmare. Her long hair started to stiffen but soon relaxed and became smooth as water. 

Staring at the ceiling in her darkroom, realizing the sun has not risen yet. She removed the blanket and straightened up on the side of her silk bed. She stood up and put on her indoor sandals and walked to the doors to the balcony that was in her room. While going outside, she could barely see her surroundings since it was still dark even though she was on the temple's 4th floor.

While walking on the balcony, moments later she could see the small light from the sun rising in the horizon. Walking back to her room, she realized that she promised her dad that she would go back to the training with uncle today. She started regretting that decision because she did not feel the mood for it after that dream she just had.

"I wish I could just run away from this place...," Mi muttered to herself as she walked over to her closet.

Her closet was filled with fancy clothes, yet they seemed to never be worn and covered with a layer of dust. Kneeling on the floor she reached the corner to grab a white training robe and pants and dressed into them.

After she was done dressing out of her pajamas, she slid open the wooden door in her room and started walking towards the stairs. After walking four floors down to the main floor there were a few maids and servants cleaning the walls and floors. When people started to see Mi walking down the stairs, they all made room for her to move through.

"Just Intime to eat Mimi," said her mother who was sitting at the table taking a sip of her morning green tea, "Your hair looks so messy today, why don't I help you brush."

"Mom there's no need...," Mi tried to talk but stayed silent instead. She knew her hair was messy and did not bother fixing it. Her abnormal black hair symbolled as cursed or death in her village, after all, the village is part of the order of the White Blossom.

People belonging to the White Blossom or Bai Mei Hua has two prominent characteristics which were their white hair and white eyes. Mi on the other had had black hair and white eyes which startled everyone in the village when she was born. 

There was another group they call Heilerens but they themselves state that they were the order of Black Lotus. They themselves also have two prominent characteristics which were their black hair and black eyes. Mi was lucky only because she had white eyes, otherwise, people would have killed her right after birth besides her parents who were very protective. 

Looking at her mother who was making a comb out of her own hair before walking behind Mi and started combing. Normally people could straighten their hair with the use of their power, but Mi was still young to gain full control to do so. 

The order of the White Blossom and Black Lotus both have a special ability that was only unique to them and them alone. They can manipulate their hair creating objects of their choice such was weapons like bows and swords. Their hair becomes hard as steel, making it unbelievably strong. But there is a cost when creating, they had to spend energy called Rai that is stored in their body to keep the object they create before it falls apart and become normal hair. They can reattach the hair they used to make things back as if nothing happened.

After Mi's mom finished fixing her hair, they both sat at the dining table to eat. At that moment Mi and her mom were waiting for father to come before they started eating. Mi's father finally came moments later and sat in between her and her mother. 

"It's rare to see you up so early," Mi's father said in surprise, "well let's eat!"

They ate their morning breakfast as a family, and these moments make Mi feel calm and happy which was the reason why she did not think about running away. Her family are the only one that did not see her different. 

After they finish their food, Mi was the first one to leave and started walking towards the training grounds south side of the village. About 30 minutes have pasted, Mi finally reached to her destination. At the moment, it seemed that she was the first one here.

"It seemed like I came too early...," Mi thought.

Looking through the open space in front of her, rocks, trees, tall grass, and bamboo were all she could see. Pondering what to do now, Mi walked towards the forest of bamboo where the river is. She held a portion of her black hair and turned it into a pair of black daggers which she broke off and held one in each hand.

She practiced the basic Tai Ji Jian for a good 15 minutes before the rest of her class came. Mi's uncle oversees teaching the new generation to fight using their hair and helping them to control the Rai in their body's in consumption and endurance.

"Wow, would you look at that, the demon is here," said one of the boys who just arrived. 

"I know right, I wish she could just get out of my sight," one the girls behind the boys said, "hehe she should color her uniform black as well, suits her color."

Mi ignored them and walked towards the middle where the rest of the class is for announcements from teacher. Her uncle was taking attendance standing on top of the rock started calling out people's names. 

"Feng Mo"

"Here"

"Li Yun"

"Here"

...

Moments later, the teacher called out all the names besides Mi because he already knows she's here, but the main reason was that people would give her a death stare if she ever talked or make an action.

"Today we are going to practice sparing against each other, so everyone picks a partner and will practice going against each other," the teacher said, "Mi come with me I'll be your partner for the time being"

Mi removed herself away from the crowd and followed her uncle to an empty spot in the fields. The other students looked at Mi with disdain before they dispersed to find partners of their own. 

"How long can you keep your daggers without running out of Rai," Mi's uncle asked. 

"About an hour and 30 minutes give or take," Mi replied getting into a fighting stance.

"Not bad, a 100% improvement from 45 minutes, now let's see how long you can last against me," the teacher said as he dashed towards Mi and grew himself a white Zhanmadao. (A sword made to cut down horses, an ancient Chinese weapon back in the day to deal with Calvary)

At least 5 hours have gone by so everyone took a break to eat and rest. Mi on the other hand decides to climb up in a tree and rest there and not eat since she did not feel hungry. About two o'clock in the afternoon, the teacher told everyone to gather again. But something happened, and one of the students fell to the ground. 

"Apologies to Mi right now!" the teacher yelled after hearing the boy talk about how Mi was a demon that would terrorize this village.

The boy in front of him stared back at him with no means to do so. The other students who were beside the boy also revolted against their teachers request.

 "Why should he!"

 "Teacher that girl is a Heileren child!"

 "She is not one of us!"
 … 

Bullying people was not exactly common for them; the older they are the more people want to show that they were better than those under them. However, Mi's age was not the issue; in fact, she is one of the oldest among them. One after another the students continued to throw insults about the girl; each filled with hatred and despise. 

The teacher was getting very impatient and continued to scold them. Mi who was leaning against the tree was not too far from the crowd was angry but decided to stay quiet and gripping forcefully the hair within her palm.

"That's enough!" The teacher was just to have enough with his students and yelled. "All of you join in pairs to be ready to fight me and Mi since no one here is willing to cooperate."

"That's not fair, you are the teacher, there's no way for us to...," the student who was still on the ground spoke, but he was cut off by the teacher.

"That is not my problem, you children have already lost my respect, and this is what happens." The teacher replied without care then walked over to where Mi was at.

There were 3 domains that existed by accident. The Islands in the sky called Raiah, the earth we all know today Terra, and the civilization below the earth Gaiah. 

Raiah and Gaiah are unknown. The people who live on earth or we should say "The surface" never came to contact with anyone in these domains because the domains have their own mysterious realm that separates them apart. This novel is mainly about Raiah, other domains will probably be on a different novel in the future.

Raiah's domain is in the sky. Sky is filled with islands big or small. Some islands are even chained together by the inhabitants in the past.

This book has many characters meaning there is not just one main character. They all have their own story line and some even intertwine with each other.

One chapter per week, school really been hell for me.

"Umm, sir so we are in the 1930's you say- what is the law of the land, do the police do their job, are they corrupt you know the usual."

Hearing this the old man merely laughed before spouting back, "Young lad it's fine the police aren't corrupted more like their too scared of the gangsters since the 1919's when they'd become incredibly incompetent, which isn't a surprise considering the amount of power the Triad hold anyway. And every other region is in chaos ruled by warlords and such."

"Also calling me sir makes me feel old, call me something else I don't know like Lǎoshī, Shuòshì or something since I'll be teaching you the art of tailoring to make a living now won't I young..."

Hearing this I was relieved though I didn't know what to do, my real name or my real name.

You might be confused so I'll explain, Yamcha is my real name since it's my current life's name however my previous life's name was Yum Cha, so you can guess because of that I was a Yamcha fan from the start.

But that names the only personal thing I remember other than the Dragon Ball knowledge I engulfed from that kid who tried stealing my body pesky kid really but I merged and took his knowledge so I'm not that bothered.

"Master my name is Yamcha, and I was trained by a hermit living off on a island by his self, though I'm not sure if he's still alive (due to getting beat the crap out  for being a creepy pedobear.) I can remember I came back to civilisation yet everything became a blur until I woke up today."

Hearing this the old tailor merely sighed, as he looked at me, he knew I was a martial artist he could tell from my body language as well as my muscles.

It was plain obvious to all considering my rough hands and grazed skin. Not to mention my healthy bronze skin.

"Yamcha, it's fine my name is Tailor Hung, you can call me Master if you'd like."

"And seeing how well you've trained your body I think I'll pass onto you my own martial arts. I come from the Hung Clan that no longer exists, and I trained in the Hung Family Iron Fist Technique."

'This boy, his attitude and his aura is extremely positive, he's sure to be a good person- not to mention his Chi pathway that is extremely free that lets Chi flow through like a river. Not to mention his physique if his body is anything to go by then he's definitely a prodigy martial artist.'

'He's the perfect successor to the Hung Clan, rather the only successor since I have no one else to hand this power to anyway.'

'Maybe through his hands this endless violence and corruption can finally end, the world is no longer the same, just a few years ago millions died due to the increasing aggression if the various Empires, and I fear our neighbour the land of the rising sun is too keen to occupy us.'

'Maybe, just maybe he could be the key to a united nation, one with power and one with the people.'

His thoughts ended as he realised Yamcha had seemingly been stretching as his bones cracked up like crazy suggesting his body had healed and that his body had gotten too relaxed. 

Having heard enough Yamcha, headed to the doors as he opened it up noticing that the people were already out as they had gotten into the swing of things.

Everyone was either getting their shops ready or getting themselves prepped up.

And I could see that a hairstylist had already gotten his shop ready as he lifted up the shatters, as another person got their restaurant ready as steam wafted through the air flying around freely.

While another person was doing some sort of transportation business as he propped up five human sized boxes upon his back as he then swiped at the ground with his feet before another box launched into the air before falling onto his back.

It was evident he had a strong body for an average human, as he then moved so fast he left afterimages, seemingly unfazed by this the residents carried on with their businesses.

That guy's physique was incredible as each and every muscle of his was popping with power, while his bones seemed incredibly steady.

Forgetting that Yamcha landed down from the stairs as each and every one of them glanced at him before moving on.

To them weird people were as common as the air they breathed in, this was due to the area being occupied by multiple empires.

Meaning once in a while a strange fellow or lass would appear but they didn't care they had work to do.

Seeing this Yamcha didn't understand why they did that, he wasn't strange looking at all other than his wild wolf like hair nothing else and his chiseled physique.

So he headed to a nearby water well not being used and looked at himself on it, he had his normal face and all but he looked strangely older than before about 22 and his hair yes his was now blank white.

It was a shock to take in as he gasped seeing his appearance, but he shrugged it off as he saw that he was wearing traditional Chinese clothing for some reason and his Gi was gone.

He had on what he wore in super with the white Chinese turncoat and black martial arts pants with martial arts shoes.

He assumed that was what was norm in this era and wasn't bothered by it but his hair had surprised him to say the least.

He figured it was due to remaking his body, it made sense in all honesty to be honest. And his skin was even more tanned now and last but not least he could feel a scar had appeared on his skin from his shoulder blades to his abdomen.

And for some reason he felt something in his pockets, and taking it out he noticed it was his red capsule developed by Bulma for him to use.

It kept the Dragon Balls and all his other items in it such as his food, clothes, accessories, etc.

He was glad that his new Master was honest enough to not rob him.
