At the last day on my second week of school, all I could think of is how lucky I was to have such a mature and nice sister. For her age at least. 

Nine year old kids were not all that different from the seven years old I interacted just months ago. Thankfully, like is common knowledge, girls do indeed mature earlier than boys. 

"Sam! You need to start working on the next chapter of the 'power puff girls'!" 

"Yeah!.. You and your sister should work on it first thing on the weekend" 

My friends, Emma and Ellie, said enthusiastically. All it took was to bring the comic I made with Hanna to school, and this pair of twins to 'find' it under my desktop, for them to want to be friends with me. They really liked the story. 

I was prepared to play the loner once again, after all it gave me more time to work on my projects. But at the end, I was aware that having friends would certainly ease my mother's worries. Besides, the prospect of having a pair of cute blond haired and blue eyed girls as friends, was hard to give up. 

"I had already promised you to ask my sister after school" I said calmy. 

We were just waiting for the school day to end, and it seemed that they wanted to remind once again about continuing the story. 

"But you said that last week" Ellie pouted. 

"Yeah, why should we believe you?!" Emma added. 

"Liar!" They both said at the same time with their characteristic twin sync power. 

This again. They were just playing around, but I thought that they had already forgotten about it after this monday. 

I could already see the direction this conversation would take if I left it unattended. They would annoy me to death. 

"How about I let you read the new story I am working on" I said suddenly, changing the topic of discussion. 

"For real?" The both of them said enthusiastically, while grabbing my shirt and rocking me a little. 

After we became friends, I had told them about how I was writing lots of stories. They were extremely interested when I revealed that some of those stories were about princesses. But until now, I had ignored any pleading they gave me to let them read any. 

"Yes. My mother finally approved my writing, so I'm confident that this story is good enough, and will be popular in the future!" I said confidently while giving them my notebook. 

To bring the stories from my previous world to this one, I have planned since I was little to start with writing books. For that reason, I've worked tirelessly in improving my writing. 

"I love Anna! Emma said when they finished reading my story. 

"Me too! And Elsa is so cool with her ice powers" Ellie added.

"But it would be better with pictures!" The both of them said. 

Of course, if I could get published having pictures on the book was necessary, especially considering that it will be aimed to little girls. 

"I'm glad that you like it. I promise to let you read others stories so you can give me your opinion" I said to them. "Also, I'll ask Hannah to draw some of the princesses, so you can see how they would look" 

"Yay!" They said while giving each other a high five. 

"But don't forget about the comic" Ellie suddenly added with a serious tone, which caught off guard and made me nod absently. 

After that, we talked for a little bit longer until it was time to go home. I said my goodbyes to the twins and went on my way to reunite with Hanna. Who usually waited for me near the school gates. 

"Sammy!" Was all I heard before being lifted off the ground by a strong hug. 

"Hanna, what happened?" I asked. She was clearly excited over something. 

"Our comic. I showed it to my art teacher and she liked it a lot. She even said that it could be published at the local newspaper" She said happily. 

That's surprising. I never even considered this method to get stories getting known to the public. Even if the local newspaper wasn't as popular as other ones, it was still a huge platform. 

"That's amazing big sis!" I said, and I truly mean it. I was really happy about it. 

"I know! Now all we have to do is to finish a couple of comics more, and Miss Eva will do the rest" She said while squeezing me harder. 

"Incredible... But, could you put me down already?" I added after a while with a tired smile. 

"Nope, hehe" She laughed and continued to hug me tight, until our mother finally came to my rescue. 

The conversation towards home was particularly loud. Hanna talked on and on about what her teacher said, and how me and her were going to work all weekend to get the next chapter of our comic ready. 

I didn't complain about it, but I planned to talk with my sister about not getting too carried away. She normally takes my opinion into consideration, so I wasn't that worried about it. 

"Sammy" My mother said once my sister went out of the car to greet father, "I know that you're a smart boy, so I'll let you decide about what to do with an opportunity that has appeared recently" 

At first, I thought that she was going to talk about me being at fourth grade once again. But when I heard her out, my interest increased immediately. 

"Your stories are really great lately. So I took the liberty of showing them to a friend I have that works at this publishing company... " 

"Will I get published?" I interrupted her. My excitement was off the charts at this moment. Recently I was wondering how to approach this matter, and now my mother just brought it up to me from nowhere. 

My mother sighed, and then continued "I don't know why it even surprises me... It's highly likely Sammy. We'll have a reunion with my friend next thursday. I don't have to work in the morning, so I'll be accompany you. And if we agree to their terms, I'll sign any paper in your behalf" 

"Thank you mommy!" I said loudly and gave her a hug, "you are the best!" 

"Sometimes I would prefer that you enjoyed your childhood more" She said while caressing my back softly, "but the thought of halt your progress when you work so hard, makes it impossible for me to even think about it... So, for the immediate future, I'll give you my full support" 

I had already enjoyed one childhood and that was enough for me, now all I wanted to do was to capitalize on all the properties I know. Of course I couldn't say that, so I just kept hugging her while saying my thanks for all the help she had given me. After all, it was thanks to her that I could get better at writing in such a short amount of time, and now it was her that got me this opportunity. I was really lucky to have her as my mother.

Samuel Bane, a guy who was just a normal 23 year old in another life, was living in a new world with his memory intact. 

The new world is almost exactly the same as the one he lived before, except that the period of time was similar to the mid 80's that he knew by the movies and tv shows he watched.

This story will focus on how Sam enters the entertainment business. Getting his works published and meeting new people on his way towards an unheard level of success. 

The concept of the story has inspiration in "I'm really a super star", but it's nothing alike.

Finally, Zhou Yu was able to make Zhou Shuyu happy. Soon, she left with He Yuanyuan to start her "business". Those toys had also been seen by Zhou Hao and other kids. Their eyes were wide open when they saw the toys. They all pretended that they wanted to help and took the opportunity to play with those toys. However, to Zhou Shuyu, those models were important goods, she did not want those kids to touch them at all. What if they scratched the models, then the price would go down.

Having been kicked out by Zhou Shuyu once again, Zhou Hao said gloomily, "brother Yu, that's not fair, you hid so many toys from us and did not give us a chance to play them."

It was actually understandable, boys just liked this type of toys, so all of them were drooling over the toys that Zhou Yu made.

Thinking that the old village chief was always looking after him, Zhou Yu decided to give something in return, "okay, as long as you can help me to remove the wild weed in my yard, I will make one for you."

Because he was lazy, so the yard was very messy. There were some areas had already grown many wild weeds. So this was a great opportunity for him to have someone to help him to clean the yard.

Hearing what Zhou Yu said, Zhou Hao thought for a second and quickly left the house. When he returned to the yard, there was a group of other kids with him. "We are all going to help you, can you make one for each one of us? We promise that we will only play the toys here, we will not take them away," said Zhou Hao.

The kid was smart, and he was not selfish, no wondered that he was the leader of the kids in the village. It would only cause a few Moe coins, the little Niannian's contract had given him 5000 of them, so Zhou Yu did not mind about this small amount of coins. He just happily agreed. In the children's happy cheers, he wrote down the toys that each one of the kid wanted.

"I want an airplane!"

The children shouted one after another, fearing that they would not get one when it was finally their turn to ask for a toy. While Zhou Yu was recording, he looked at Zhou Hao curiously, 'Why did this brat did not ask for any toys?' But soon, the puzzle was solved. When there was only one left, this brat looked around and said loudly, "I want an aircraft carrier!"
  
Damn, this kid really lived up to his leader's name, even the toy that he asked was also the leader's level. But since he had already agreed, then he could not take the words back. He just simply let this kid go this time.

Zhou Shuyu was very busy these two days. Because of this, He Yuanyuan did not dare to come to visit Zhou Yu alone. After all, it was not appropriate to have a young woman staying in a room with a young man alone.

Meticulous design, beautiful craftsmanship, perfect details and most importantly, it was very realistic. No one knows which carpenter would make the scale models beautiful to such an extent.

The photos of those models soon became widespread. Zhou Shuyu's small shop also gained quite a popularity because of this. What surprised her, even more, was that, within just a few days, all the models were sold out, there were even some people commented that if she had more models, inform them at once.

People with skills truly could make money easily. Earning several thousands of Chinese Yuan just like that. It was no wonder that he wasted such precious wood just to make some models.

After collecting the money from the bank, she went to Zhou Yu's house immediately. Upon arriving, she was immediately shocked by what she saw.

Under the big banyan tree, there was a workbench with many model parts placed on it.
A large ship with a length of humans height had already been assembled halfway. Upon a closer look, Zhou Shuyu noticed that it was actually a domestic aircraft carrier model. 'Holy cow… how much is this worth?'

The first thing that flashed in Zhou Shuyu's mind was the price of this model.

Originally, it would only take an evening to make the aircraft carrier, however, those kids, especially Zhou Hao didn't have any patience, they wanted to see how it was made. So in the end, Zhou Yu reluctantly asked the beaver to finish half of the carrier first. Then Zhou Yu would personally finish the other half. Of course, he would not able to craft any small parts of the carrier. But those big parts, he was able to finish them under the beaver's instruction. This was why everyone was watching how the aircraft carrier was being made.

Only when he needed to do it personally did Zhou Yu realized that how skillful the beaver was. He had often thought that woodworking was as easy as building blocks, however, when he needed to do it, he realized how difficult it was. If it weren't for the fact that the beaver was constantly correcting his mistake, he would've probably made a big mess.

The noisy yard had also attracted some adults as well. Some were there to look for their kids. It was already the time for lunch, but those kids still didn't want to go home, so there would definitely be many brutal ass smacks later on.

However, the attention of those adults was soon attracted by the aircraft carrier as well. Seeing the magnificent aircraft carrier slowly formed its shape, they were all amazed by the skill that Zhou Yu suddenly had. Comparing the work done by the old man Zhang, whose job was to repair the broken furniture in the village, the beautiful work that this young man did, was completely on a different level.

Zhou Shuyu could only wait patiently on the side, while using her sharp eyes to scan this aircraft carrier. At the same time, she was trying to estimate the price of this carrier.

However, she had a vague feeling that she would not be able to sell this 'treasure'. With two meters long in length, it was too big! It would be a problem for shipping.

Only until Zhou Yu's stomach started to make hungry noise did he finally stopped assembling the parts. He was not a stranger to the scale models. It was just that since he started to live on his own, he didn't have any spare money to support him to build any.

After Zhou Shuyu took her share of the profit, she gave Zhou Yu the rest of the money, that she had earned in the past few days. She then tried to persuade Zhou Yu to sell the carrier. Of course, she knew that the possibility would be very low.

And as she had expected, after Zhou Yu took the money, he just smiled while shaking his head. Then he returned to his house to make his lunch. The kids that surrounded Zhou Yu were instantly relieved. Such a good toy, of course, they preferred to play it.

Zhou Yu might look very calm, but after he took several thousand Chinese Yuan, he also felt as if he was on cloud nine. As soon as he returned to his house, he immediately started to count the money.

As the bottom-level writer, who only relied on the bonus of releasing the chapters every day, having suddenly earned several thousand Chinese Yuan made him felt like he just hit the jackpot.

Originally, he thought that he was only able to make money when the comic studio or the game company came out, but he didn't expect that he was able to solve his income problem this quick. Hey I'm Kris Mage and I'm the popular guy in school, the topic of everyone's conversations, the guy who's dated at least 27 different girls... But that's not the only thing, I'm also super handsome and manly, everyone wants a piece of this charmer! Oh and I have the PERFECT morning routine, I get up out of bed- doing a back flip ( Spin on the spot, ) then I go brush my teeth, which I can do in under 30 seconds, then I go get some orange and mango juice out of the fridge, that I can drink under 30 seconds ( I often wipe the juice off my face onto my white shirt  ), I go change into my clothes and tadaa I'm done!! That is it, the perfect morning routine, well according to a comic I read it is. Uh... Oh right... I have a whole collection of comics, books and manga. Basically anything you can read, I've read. Yeah, It's nerdy as hell, but so long as no one finds out I'm a total freak it should be fine... Well, there is one person who knows I'm a book nerd, but they wouldn't DARE speak of it! EVER. A few years ago me and the guy were.... As much as I hate to say it... Fr- FRIENDS DAMMIT!!! We would go to my house on our bikes singing some stupid song, it went like "OOhhhhh!! Let's go!! Na na superrrr herrros on theee wayy!! YEA YEA YEA, Weeeee are gonna save the daaaaaay!!! No matter wha-" UGGGGGGGGHHH just thinking of it makes me cringe!!! Are voices would crack every time we sang "daaaaay." I can't believe I use to do that in public! All the kids we rode past would laugh at us, but we wouldn't care, we we're to caught up in the song... Actually... Some times I still hum the song while reading at night... B-but it's not like my voice cracks anymore, and plus I do it in my room, not on the pathway were everyone can hear me! Oh right- The day we stoped being friends... Err...

 It was the day a new comic was coming out, me and the guy had been talking 'bout it for weeks!! "Mega millions," it was about a middle schooler who wanted to become the worlds greatest hokey player, of course sports comics are the best!! When I got to school, I ran straight into my class, to the guys desk, and we started screaming out of joy, jumping on the spot and spinning around. Throughout the whole day, we talked in every class, just about mega millions, we got told of 'bout 10 times, ignoring the teachers. In period 6, the last class of the day, sport, and we were playing hokey! Being the nerds we were, we pretended to be the 2 main character from Mega millions, I was Vector, the rival, and the guy was Menji, the hero of the story. As we were playing and saying stupid nerdy lines, a group of kids came up to us, if I remember correctly there names were; Benonison, Jermenly and garatmon ( *Ben, Jeremy and garret. ) Of course, they were considered popular ( obviously not as popular as I am now. ) Our role-playing came to a hault as one of the boys grabed the guys shirt and threw him down, my mind stopped. My... Friend... Had been thrown to the ground. And now he was getting called names. "Nerd. Looser. Book freak." They even told him things like " No one likes you. Books are only for loosers like you. Just die. Go on and jump of a building." They even grabbed his bag. What was inside? It was mega millions. It had a sticky note stuck on the front cover, I didn't have enough time to read it at that moment. They proceeded the rip the book up in the guys face, screaming insults. Then they turned to look at me. Being... Being the worthless guy I am, I ran away knowing they hadn't seen my face to well. I ran and ran as I thought things like "they don't know I'm a book freak too, If I run they won't beat me up!" sliping and tumbling, I grabed my bike and peddled, I peddled so fast I thought my feet might break, heart beating as fast as my feet it could rip out of my chest. I was a coward. That night it rained, it hailed, it was cold. The next day riding to school, I didn't dare to sing. When I arrived at the destination and put my bike down ( dropped it ), I ran to where my fr- the guy had been beat up... Blood stains... And the sticky note in a pile of riped up paper. I walked slowly to where the sticky note layed. Picked it up and read it. "-For Kris, my best friend, I hope we can read this book together!" Mind blank. Tears Streaming down my face. I sunk to my knees. Hands on the cold wet ground. I stayed like that. I stayed like that for hours until a teacher found me. After that I never talked to the guy again. Well not like I use to... I started insulting him. Pushing him around. But not once did the guy push me back. I... I never wanted to run... I never wanted to leave him... Why am I such a worthless piece of-.... No, nevermind, I don't care. I'm popular now, I have everything anyone would want. I'm cool! I'm no coward!! Yeah! Yeah....

School has resumed,trying to settle down amongst the hustle and bustle.
I know i said, if the worst comes to the worst, topublish new chapters weekly.

Its one week gone and few days,i think and i have not published a.new chapter yet.
Well aside from writing novels,i do lot of other things.
programming, illustration ecetera. 
And so far, its been really tough on me, considering that school has resumed and that 30 days Vigilante is coming soon.

If not for the leering bunch of students along with their equally perverted class teacher, Fiona would have not hesitated to show the dark-eyed boy his place. But to her immense bad luck, the only empty desk was the one beside that very boy who gave her an ugly sneer.
"Fiona? You may have your seat," the young teacher said as he sized her up and down. Fiona wished she could punch him in the face. But for the sake of her parents' reputation, she ket her mum and walked ahead through the gap between the desks. 
The boys seated nearby hooted with excitement as she passed by them.
"Hey, baby!" one of the boys leered at her. Fiona stopped in her tracks and her fists curled up. She turned around and banged her fist on the desk of the boy that had called her. The bang echoed several times.
"Yes, darling," she said with a raised eyebrow and an aggressive pout.
The boy, feeling threatened at her aggressiveness, immediately looked away. Fiona sneered and straightened herself. The girls felt threatened too, not by her beauty, but by her aggressiveness. She could easily qualify as a bully.
Fiona walked to her assigned desk, without care. Due to her aggressive behaviour, the earlier commotion had died down. She sat down and pulled down her backpack to check her schedule that she received a week ago. Her eyes widened with surprise when she realized that the pervert of a class teacher would be teaching them Mathematics. Never mind, it was her favourite subject. She silently pulled out the book from her backpack and set it on the desk. The class had already begun.
"Isn't it foolish to join a new school on the eve of the midterm exams?" Fiona heard the dark-eyed boy beside her say. She calmly brushed the bangs from her forehead.
"Oh?" she exclaimed calmly without batting an eye.
"..." the boy gritted his teeth at her cold reply. Her cold reply stuck at the back of his head. 
On the other hand, Fiona was not paying attention to what the pervert was teaching or writing on the blackboard. Instead, she pulled her sketchbook and started sketching for a comic she was working on.
"Now, now..." the boy was not willing to give up, "You must have a lot to catch up on, don't you? Should you not be paying attention to the class?"
Fiona ignored him and glanced outside the window closest to her. The blue sky was dotted with fluffy white clouds. But her eyes had a distant look in them.
RIIINNNGGG- RIIINNNGGG!
Fiona took a deep breath when she heard the bell ring. The whole class emptied quickly after they bowed to the teacher. She did not bother about it. Only the boy and she were left sitting there. The boy silently glared at her but Fiona paid him no attention. 
After running out of his patience, the boy stormed out of the classroom. Fiona did not bother about his tantrums. She calmly closed her sketchbook after filling up one of the pages.
She could hear the faint commotion of the kids outside and glance towards the window. 
As much as she knew, the midterms were within two weeks. But she could care less about it. She decided that she could use some distractions by exploring around the school. 
She shoved her sketchbook inside the bag and left the classroom. She left the classroom and looked around. Kids, both young and old, were hovering around the corridors like parasites. Fiona lazily loitered around.
Her eyes focused on the giant physical map of the city. She remembered the list of the persons from earlier. She moved closer to the map and inspected it quietly. After a few moments of close inspection, she concluded that her part of Mission 25 for tonight was mostly based around the southern outskirts of the city. She had moved into this city with her parents a week ago. So, the map came in handy.
"Maps serve as a bonus for geographers if they could study," her geography teacher at her previous school would say.  
Her focus shattered by the loud crash nearby. She turned her head toward the commotion and so did the others around her. Her palms balled into fists at what she saw. Three older girls, judging by their uniform blazers, were pinning a girl just her age, to the ground. One of the girls pulled her up by her hair but the girl could hardly stand up. She fell back when the girl released her hair. 
Fiona's fists tightened when her eyes fell on the pair of underarm crutches leaned against the wall. She did not waste a moment and run towards the girl lying on the ground. 
"Are you okay?" she asked, crouching down next to the girl. The girl looked up with pitiful eyes. Her eyes were bleeding with tears and scratches were visible on her face.
"I..." the girl began with bated breath, "Who are you?"
"Fiona... Fiona Coulton."
"Oh!" the girl exclaimed as her eyes widened with surprise.
"Come on. Stand up," Fiona tightly held her arms and helped her up. She let her lean against the wall as she retrieved the crutches form the other side. The girl was barely holding on as her legs were wobbly. Fiona quickly supported her weight and placed both of the crutches under her armpits.
"I am Alia, by the way," the girl wheezed, "Alia Khatun."
"Nice to meet you," Fiona said flatly. Then, she glanced at the three girls who were sneering at the sight of the two.
"Alia," Fiona placed her hand on the girl's shoulder, "Please go."
"Huh?" the girl named Alia, looked up with surprise.
"Go," Fiona nodded encouragingly. The girl sighed before she slowly started moving with the help of her crutches.
The three girls from earlier were about to follow Alia, but Fiona blocked their way. She raised a perfect leg and propped it against the wall. 
"Leave her alone," Fiona calmly said, while crossing her arms.
"And what if we won't?" the girl in the middle asked, who seemed to be the leader. She glanced at the other two before smirking at Fiona.
"You will regret it," Fiona said without batting an eye.

Fiona Coulton, our female lead, is the perfect daughter of her equally successfully parents. She loves to sketch and grabs the top position in her class the moment she lands into her new school. She has a secret identity that her parents successfully cover-up. But her perfect life is not so perfect. Because she has a problem that even her parents can't ignore. 
For a while, her adventures provide the distraction she needs. But, sooner or later, she has to face reality. Will she be able to do it? 

"Boss, why did you hug me?" she squirmed, "It's distracting as well as suffocating?"
"Suffocating, huh?" he said cheekily, "But, I am tired."
"..." she pressed her lips into a thin line, "But I am not your body pillow."
"Hmm, right," he loosened his hold, "You are my heart pillow."
"..."

I have been awed by the mystery and the powers of the elements since I was a kid. I think I ought to give credit to all the anime cartoons that was available in our time, especially when it dominated the Philippine Primetime shows in the 90's. I also caught the Funny Komiks fever which is actually quite an integral part of my childhood as I've learned to read and associate the words just by looking at the pictures – all by myself and with my twin brother, KC. This culture pushed me to draw pictures and cartoon characters that led for me to be creative, ultimately finding out that I can make and invent stories of my own. 

As my skill advanced from the traditional stick figures, I needed a challenge and by the age of eight, I have started to make my own stories loosely based on the arena-type battles such as Dragonball Z, Pokemon, and Flame of Recca. We don't have much money then so we have to improvise to hone our craft. After the end of our school year, my twin brother and I used to pull the spring from my notebook and compile all the empty leaves to stitch 'em up together to form a thick notebook to make my cartoon stories – my very own comic book. We have made tons of it, usually strips of stories that ranged from ten to twenty pages at most, but by the end of my first year in highschool I finished a full length comic book story called "Pyrobot" – a robot created to protect the Earth similar to Combatron and Megaman. But this didn't make me happy though. The plot of the story is quite juvenile then, so I plotted a story – a serious one that touches topics of mystery and gives tales of adventures made by an entirely different civilization. That's when I conceptualized "The Omegatribe", which is the book's original title eleven years ago. I tried to plan it to fruition but then school made me extremely busy, it forced me to just put a pin on that project. 

Graduation came fast which made me happy for a bit thinking I could start the project in hiatus but lo and behold, college revealed to be my enemy too. I tried drawing slides and planned to color it in the computer by scanning it and rendering it on Photoshop but all was in vain as this takes too long a time to continue. This project is going down the drain and I could feel the urge of giving up but luckily, God has given me a window. He led me to our college publication, The Business Access Magazine, and this gave me the necessary foundation to make me adept in putting my thoughts into words. After gaining my bachelor's degree in Management at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, I finally vowed to finish the story I started on 2003 and turn this comic book into a novel instead. On January 2009, I started to write it all up. It's quite hard at first as I have been writing it while taking another degree in accountancy at the University of the East. Also, the challenge is the research and plotting the story to make it complete. This ate time that it took three years for me to finish it and another year and a half to revisit the story: to create a time table, assign the time frame, and identify the lunar faces on each chapter. I have finished writing it on the same time I passed the board last year on May 2013. I have to thank God for this miracle as I couldn't have done it without his blessing, guidance, and inspiration. It's quite a challenging adventure, one that I am really thankful to experience.

When Bathala created the world, He made sure that the Earth will be safe from the Mortals: the Men and Women of the Earth. Their potential for evil has saddened Him deeply. He has to go away to create Paraiso but He needs to protect them from destroying themselves.

To make sure that life will prosper on Earth, He has blessed three righteous tribes and mandated them to protect the Fountain of Life from being corrupted. The Fountain seeds green life on Earth. Without the fountain, life will cease to exist.

The three tribes that are led by Nagozul, Yagisiv Haya, and Daomagar, left their villages and created their dominion on Bathala's three islands collectively known as The Holy Lands. Their purpose: "Protect the Fountain of Life at all costs." They have been true in following their holy edict and have proven themselves to become the Holy Sentinels of the Lands of Bathala. They have maintained the secrecy and the anonymity of the Holy Lands with perfection as life continued on Earth.

Tens of thousands of years later, the Kingdom of Nagozul has now grown arrogant and has disobeyed Bathala's mandate. An impending doom now shrouds the Holy Lands. Extinction of the mortal race is upon them and the fate of the world is at stake. It is up to the brave Holy Sentinels, the young Princes of Nagozul, to complete the mission and save the souls that are inhabiting the islands of God.

I have decided to stop writing this novel because I don't feel anything while writing it, it has boring for me to come up with scenarios and I have also made a lot of mistakes while writing this novel.
I want to concentrate on my current fan-fic for now and maybe in the future, I will start posting a DC comic fan-fic but that might take time.
Thanks to all the readers of this novel for supporting it to this day, too bad this has to come to an end.

Evan thought he was finally making progress with Rylee. They laughed, joked, she even agreed to go on a date sometime. On all accounts, he should be elated. 

But one wrong word and she withdrew, climbing back into her shell. 

Evan took her to the doctors, she got cleared to have her stitches removed, and when she was free of the chair, she politely asked to go home. 

No board game, no staying longer. Game over.

After dropping her off, Evan drove home, feeling bewildered. He tugged at his brace and wanted to blame something for messing things up. Maybe she only said she would go out to spare his feelings? What if he misread her actions all along? What if she secretly hated his cooking? He sat on the couch, staring at an empty TV screen until Zane arrived.

"Who died?" His friend remarked, dropping into a seat and handing him a bottle of cola.

"Girls are confusing," Evan admitted. 

Zane burst into laughter. "I should have known. What happened?"

"I asked her out, she said okay. We talked, she got depressed and left," Evan summarized. 

Zane leaned back and rolled his eyes. "What did you mention that set her off?" He dug.

"We were talking about careers—"

"And there's your mistake."

Evan was stunned. Zane elaborated, "She works two jobs. She barley makes enough to pay her bills. Her family is all out of state, and she's been on her own since her looser X dumped her. She meets you, and you are absolutely killing it with your artwork. That's a lot for her to handle."

"But she was fine before," Evan groaned, hitting his head against the couch. "So, talking about careers intimidates her?"

"I wouldn't say intimidates, more like, depresses her," Zane decided. "But that's still not a great sign. 

"I think if you're interested in romance, avoid some of the time bombs in the mean time. Don't ask about the X, don't ask about the art, focus on things that make her happy. She likes you enough to go out sometime! Isn't that a win?"

"You weren't here when she left," Evan felt he was too old for this type of heart to heart, but he needed some reassurance. He had a few flings in high school, but nothing super serious. He was not ready for this level of relationship. 

Rylee felt, fragile. Like a bird that would fly away if you moved too soon. He just wanted to get closer without scaring her. Unfortunately, he was already screwing it up.

"Okay, we can do damage control. There is movie coming out she's been dying to see. You know, dogs at home when their owners are away, cute cartoon. We drag Tara and her out, get back to basics. Minimize the chances for you to put your foot in your mouth."

Evan glared, "Thanks."

"You're welcome. You will come to appreciate my direct approach. Oh and you're paying, by the way, since I've seen your PatronPower and I KNOW you have more spare change than I do." 

Evan didn't argue. He pulled out his phone and opened his favorite forum, desperate to relax. As he navigated to the thread with FallenSparrow, he had a new understanding for the romance they were creating. At first he felt a little embarrassed writing something sappy like this, but it felt nice now digging into those intense emotions. Seeing Rylee hurt helped him understand his characters motives. He found it easy to use those emotions to progress their role play.

Zane noticed his attention shifting, and stood up to hunt for food. While Evan typed, he scrutinized the mess left from the hamburgers. At least Evan had the forethought to put the leftovers away... "Don't mind if I do," Zane smirked, and started heating a patty for himself.

When he returned, Zane watched his friend writing in silence. After talking with Anna, he felt confident in his choice to play matchmaker. So why did it now seem so difficult? Honestly, he should have known. In college, Evan was always bad with girls. He laughed easy, used his good looks to charm them, but lacked the EQ to realize they were attracted to him. The breakthrough with his comic hadn't helped. Evan wouldn't say it, but he was cautious with relationships now, as if expecting someone to like him for the wrong reasons. 

Despite the fact that Evan's name was listed in the creator section, few people paid attention to that. It had given Evan freedom to be normal. He would always say that the comic was famous, not him. But each convention threatened to change that. Recently, management companies started contacting him. The emails had their own folder, and Zane would catch him comparing fees and reviews. Drawing a comic was one thing, but planning a future was becoming a different struggle. There were other things to consider like branding and merchandising. 

On the one hand, he needed to plan his career.

On the other, he was just a young adult trying to figure out how to work things out with a girl he liked. 

Zane finished his hamburger, formulating a plan. It would involve being a third wheel on a number of occasions, but really, could they manage without him at this point? Evan could handle the business side of things. 

Romance? That was where he needed a wing man.

Rylee was a college student with her dreams spread out before her. She was engaged to her best friend, pursuing her passion for art, and couldn’t wait for the future. But everything came crashing down when he departed, leaving her heart and her wallet empty. 

Despite the pain of betrayal, she tried not to loose hope. Putting her plans on hold, she was forced to focus on a 9-5 work cycle, secretly wondering about the ambitions she shelved in the process. The occasional artist alley table was not enough to fulfill her longing to do what she loved, and importantly, to find REAL love.

Everything changes as she grows closer to an online friend. Late night role playing adventures turn into long conversations, and his encouragement spurs her to return to forgotten projects. Meanwhile, she meets a famous artist, who makes her want to give love another chance.

Could it be, this love story, would be hers this time?
