Hi my names christian the title doesn't really explain it but I'm a author of several novel I'm also a sorta starter artist I can do anime photos off the internet, I can also do little people like from comics but they sorta look like a five year old drew them, and last but not least I am good at drawing heads with faces and hairs but not that good I'm trying to become a better artist so I can hopefully make this and my other novels into a comic so you can see what the characters look like without having to picture it I hope I can do that soon so I can make the comics that you guys or girls would like but any way I mainly focus on romance adventure stories and if you guys stocked with me throughout this entire time you guys know I don't really put a main villain and I don't add a plot to it that's one of the reason I ended my novel raging love because I couldn't think of anything like a plot or a villain now I'm going to make when I'm done with the current novels a new raging love novel but with a different title called raging time I'll give you a short description when I figure out what's it about, now to my life I'm 14 years old born June 30 I'm a preborn baby I think I said that correct it's basically when a baby is born sooner then it was supposed to be, I had speech issues when I was 1 I only started speaking at 3 years old my writing is promptly terrible well it's not that bad just a little messy I'm not good at certain things in the occupation of writing one of them is punctuation as when you read the other stories, I usually don't add commas and periods, and it's not because I'm a complete stupid person it's because I don't really know how to use them.   School activities ended and I was on my way home when I saw Kabir. I walked up to him and said a ' thank you', at least for standing up for me in the class earlier. He smiled and told me to keep up my good work and not be discouraged by ungrateful people like Aisha.
  
   Kabir and I do not talk much, I tend to spend time with the girls compared to the boys, just my thing. At least the girls feel free around me, just talking with Kabir has brought a smile on my face.

  I was walking alone to my house with a novel in my hand 'False Impression' which is quite interesting and the lovely part is that it is a crime novel. It is about diferent crime scenes and how most part of it is connected to one person.

  I love crime, adventure, teen fiction, thriller and Christian Romance. I don't like Pure Romance, I dislike the stuffs in it which makes me wonder why most people feel comfortable reading it, just my point of view tho.
  
    I was still reading and walking with half of my mind on the street and the other on the book I was reading when I heard a voice. I definitely know that voice, I turned around to see my favorite senior.

      " You should avoid reading while walking, especially under the sun,it is quite dangerous", senior John said.
     "Oh Senior John, Good Afternoon, I am head over heels in love with this novel that I can't wait to finish it's reading", I said.
  "Good, but you should at least get home. I am still wondering why you love novels this much, you are a Science student",he said.
   "Of course, reading is my best hobby especially reading novels, I just love looking for new words, thinking big and so on", I replied
   "Ok, you are close to your house now, my greetings to your mum", he said and left.

  I got home and greeted my mum. She is a teacher in a Senior Secondary School teaching Biology.   My dad is a Businessman/Pharmacist. He deals with soaps, disinfectants, etc and also foresee the Pharmacy shop. They are built on the same land so it is easy that way.

   The day activities ended well as I was the last to sleep all in the name of reading that novel. After finishing it's reading, I closed my eyes only to see some images. I opened my eyes and look around with my breathing getting high, what is wrong with me?

  Imaginations occur in a teenager's life, you tend to imagine when you are inspired, or probably when you start developing feelings for someone. It can also be as a result of admiration right? I thought aloud
  
   I looked at the time and it was 11 pm, I checked my brother who was already sleeping soundly. I wonder what is wrong with me, even though I use to wake up late to read, once I lie down on the bed, I always end up in the dreamland within seconds. Kabir's image keeps appearing whenever I close my eyes.

  I laid back and close my eyes but all I could see was how Kabir stood up for me, how I admired his face, the smell of his roll-on and everything I thought. I stood up from the bed and went outside the room to the bathroom, I concluded my business and went straight to the dining table. I took a spoon and mixed some honey and lemon in a cup. I drank it along with a satchet water. I learned it aid one's sleeping.

  I went back to bed a few minutes later and I did not know when I went to dreamland. I woke up the next morning around 8 am , I said my morning prayers and my dad left for work. I actually wanted to follow him but I know quite well it would be boring for me and I don't really feel that good around his workers maybe because they engage in obscene talks I am not quite comfortable with.

  I decided to rest after washing the plates with my junior brother who is 3 years younger than I am. I later finished washing and doing other stuff I needed to do, and decided to read my books. I settled down to read but my mind is not together, I suddenly felt the same imagination I had yesterday reoccurring again. I can't stop it as much as I want to.
 
  Within some seconds, I stood up and started working, I swept the house and rearranged the rooms. My mum was quite surprised I was working quite extra. I don't know what is happening to me but I have to stop this imagination.
  My mummy later asked me to rest: "Michael, you are working quite too much, please rest o," she said.
 "Mum, don't worry about me, I just feel like working today"I replied, which was partially true because I do want to work but not in this way. She left me when she realized she could not convince me. After the whole work, I crashed on the bed, around 4:30 pm and all I could remember was waking up the next morning.
 
   I was overwhelmed throughout the whole weekend with the thoughts of Kabir on my mind especially his act of kindness he showed in the class. I was trying to block the imagination but it is not working, I later stopped trying to block it, I should let it flow I guess.
   
  At least I admire him but isn't it weird that I imagine stupid things like ' Imagining both of us sitting together, walking or holding hands, protecting me from some bullies that tease and taunt me for being a nerd.

  All this while, I don't know what I am into,  whether a fantasy, mind trick or just some weird feeling, feeling I never thought was bad. The only thing I know is that I admire him.,

''what did you mean by 'more handsome than he ever can be'? huh?'' he whispered in his raspy voice stepping just inches away from me, with a glint of mischief in his eyes. 

Me being the stuttering star, I am, the talent I only got to discover today, itself. Tried not to showcase my talent. Clearing my throat more than necessary, I replied, 

''Isn't that the truth? You are ugly'' wow so much for confidence! He and I both know that's a lie. He's like a Greek-god, without any doubt. 

''Really, but the way you were checking me out earlier, your eyes were saying a different thing'' he says lowly and chuckles when I feel the heat rise on my cheeks. shit! 

He hesitantly places his hands on my cheeks, his eyes were on me the whole time, maybe contemplating if I flinch or not. Getting courage, he rubs my blush and stares at me with the same intensity. 

My heart was beating at an erratic rate, that I am so sure he could hear it as well. 

''Calm down'' he whispered. And I didn't know why, but for reason, I was nervous, not the bad anxiety I get, but a good excitement as if now, I could understand what the female protagonists from romance novels meant by, 'stomach erupting with butterflies' because that's exactly the feeling I am getting right now. You know, what is the craziest part above all of this? I am scared. I am scared because after 6 years, someone whose touch I am not accustomed off, touched me and I didn't flinch. Scared, that I needed 1 year to get accustomed and feel safe with Cy and Em's touch. Scared, that I got accustomed to his touch within weeks and felt safe. 

I was waiting for it, to come, but it never came. The anxiety I get when people touch me. This was too much, I thought. So I wanted to do the only thing I could. Pretense. The pretense of flinching. For some reason, I didn't want him to know, that I was accustomed to his touch, I didn't want him to know I felt safe around him. Most importantly, I didn't want to accept the truth. 

''How are you so different, Winter?'' he whispered, with the same intensity in his eyes and rubbing my cheeks soothingly. Maybe for him, the gesture was platonic, but for me, my tummy was doing summer saults. I didn't want to pretend, I felt as if I would betray him by doing it, I started feeling guilty, to even think of something like that. 

 

Before I could question him what he meant by that, something started ringing, the telephone I guess. And I instantly took a step back and lowered my gaze, 

‘’Chris, Coach’s on the line, he said you’re not picking up his call?” Dan shouted, from the living room. 

‘’Yeah, coming’’ he replied staring at me intently for a moment and then, he left, without even sparing a single glance back at me. Something inside me stirred with hurt, but I ignored it and continued with my dinner. 

 

Placing plates on the table, I served the food. 

‘’ delicious!!’’ Dan exclaimed, after taking the first bite, making my smile wider than it was before. Hesitantly, I sat beside Christian, who was quietly eating his food. Dan sat across us. 

 

‘’Are you taking any cooking lessons?’’ Dan asked, taking another bite. 

‘’No, actually, I like cooking, it’s like a hobby, and yeah, I was motivated by my siblings, they love eating my food’’ I say smiling at the thought. And the next thing he said, wiped my smile away, 

‘’So what does your father do?’’ I visibly tensed which Christian notices, I never spoke to him about my family, and I also didn’t know anything about him till today. So it’s fair. 

 

‘’Dad, can you pass me the sauce? And how was your day today’’ Christian says, trying to change the topic. As if realizing, ‘’I am sorry Katherine, I didn’t know that, it was a sore topic’’ Dan apologizes. 

‘’No, no don’t. How would it be a sore topic, if I don’t even know what he does? He left us years ago.’’ I say with a forced smile and continued eating. 

 

My dad was definitely a sore topic for me. More than anyone on earth, I thought, I knew him. I thought, he loved me. I thought, he meant it when he called me his princess. I thought, he was telling the truth, when he said he would always protect me. The thing that will always keep breaking my heart would be the fact that Peter and Angelina never got to know how great, how awesome dad, he was, how funny and caring he was, at the same time I am happy. Happy, that, then they would also feel betrayed as I was. Happy, that, they could still trust people. The only thing I would want to know from him if I ever get to meet him is that; why did he leave us? I still remember, how territorial he used to get when other men used to flirt or talk with mum. What changed? 

 

‘’Did I just ruin the mood?’’ Dan muttered. It was cute that I laughed. And he had this joyous smile playing on his lips.

‘’Baby girl!!’’ Cy shouted, from the other end. I am sure Dan and Christian heard him but kept quiet. 

 

‘’Cy, I can hear you loud and clear, can you please talk calmly?” I said sounding annoyed

‘'why are you disturbing me?’’ I asked bluntly. 

 

‘’you are so mean!! Okay, just tell me which flavored ice-cream do you want? Brown crunch or peanut chocolate?’’ the thought of Ice-cream made my mouth watery. 

 

‘’Peanut chocolate’’ I replied, cheerily like a five-year-old. What? Ice-cream does that to me. 

 

‘’okay, you are not getting it’’ 

 

‘’whyyyyyyy’’ I whined which caused both the men choke on their food with laughter. Instantly my cheeks turned red in embarrassment. I forgot they were here. 

‘’because someone told me, I was disturbing them’’ he replies, and I can literally see the smirk on his face. 

 

‘’it’s because, I am busy, I am not at home’’ I say, sounding annoyed. 

 

‘’Where are you then?’’ 

 

‘’ can I answer all your questions after coming back home? Daddy.’’, Christian chokes on his food and drinks water. Dan stares at him amusingly. Whereas Cyrus was laughing on the phone. 

 

‘’Why are you so innocent huh? Okay, listen, I and John would be crashing at your place today, mum and dad are going to be away for 2 days and Peter invited John, so yeah, see you there.’’ 

 

‘’okay bye,’’ and I hang up, looking back at an amused Dan and an annoyed Christian. I swear, it’s his time of the month. 

 

After finishing the dinner, I took the plates and washed them, though Dan asked me not to, I could see how exhausted he was, so, at least for today, I wanted him to have some leisure timing for himself. He was in his study, whilst Christian was standing on the doorway of the kitchen idly, not even requesting to help me. And for the whole time, I felt his gaze on me. 

 

‘’Okay, it’s late already, I gotta go’’ I say wiping my hands on the tissue and checking the time on my phone, which was 10:30 already. 

 

‘’uh-yeah. ‘’ Christian said, rubbing the back of his neck, for some reason I felt as if he was nervous for something. 

 

‘’okay… see you tomorrow. I guess?’’ I said awkwardly and headed towards the study where Dan was sitting. 

 

‘’Dan, I am leaving, thank you for having me for dinner’’ I say, shooting him a smile. 

 

‘’No, thank you. For cooking us the marvelous dinner!! I cannot remember when was the last time I had such delicious food!’’ he replied with a grin, rubbing his tummy and added “Chris, you are driving her back right?’’ 

I was going to say ‘no need’ however Christian replied before me 

‘’yeah’’ 

 

‘’I don’t need a ride, I have my car, I can drive it back home, no problem’’ I say, dismissing the offer. 

 

‘’It’s late dear, it’s not safe, let him drop you now with his car and he can drive your car back before you leave for school tomorrow. Sounds good?’’ 

 

‘’I don’t wanna-‘’ I was cut short 

 

‘’you are not bothering us. And I have practice at 5 am so I can just drop your car and jog to the school, I don’t have any problem’’ I stare at him with wide eyes. 

 Is he sick? Or did I add something he was allergic to? Why is he behaving like a gentleman? 

 

‘’Now let’s go’’ he said and started walking outside, leaving me completely utterly speechless. 

 

Biding bye one last time to Dan and promising to come back, I exit the Jones household. 

 

Christian was leaning on his car and scrolling his phone. When I came, without acknowledging me, he went to the driver’s seat and turned on the engine. Leaving me flabbergasted as usual.

I bent on his level, staring directly into his eyes with venom in my eyes,

"Listen here you self-centered jerk and listen good" I started holding his chin up with my pointing finger,   
"don't you dare talk to me like that, if you do" I raise my eyebrows tilting my head with a smirk, ''consequences will be worse'' I whisper in his ears as he lets out a growl I didn't know how all of my confidence flashed in an instant. Though, it felt amazing.

"you will regret this" he replies venomously.

There was a driver waiting for them in the parking lot when they got there. They both entered the car and he started driving.
"You look pretty," Tyler said trying to make small talk.
"Thank you; you don't look so bad yourself" she murmured
"I'm not really that bad to be married to once you get to know me"

They arrived at the court in a matter of minutes. Siobhan and Tyler were told to sit down read the contract carefully and sign their copy each.
Siobhan was annoyed at how unreasonable they were being with her. She was not allowed to have any contact with Brian or any of her friends in order for her not to slip any information out. But Siobhan was a hundred percent sure that if she were to peek into Tyler's own document there was nothing like that for him. The contract also said that if she were to disclose any information whether purposely or mistakenly she was going to pay 12.5 million dollars personally within one month of disclosure and her father was going to pay thrice the price or else he would lose his company and if she disobeyed any of the other rules she would pay 3 million per rule and how many times she broke it.

"At least hindi na Aragog" natatawa nitong sabi saka muling niyuko para sa isang mas matagal at mas maalab na halik.

"Ano, sa honeymoon na ang tuloy natin?" ang nanunuksong tanong ni Louis nang walang kahirap-hirap siya nitong pinangko saka sinimulang maglakad palabas ng simbahan. Hindi alintana ang isinasaboy na rose petals sa kanilang dalawa.

Nanlaki ang mga mata niya sa narinig. "Ano ka ba naman, sa tinagal-tagal ng panahon nagawa mong maghintay ngayon oras nalang naiinip ka pa?" pabulong niyang sagot habang natatawang namumula ang mukha.

Kinindatan siya ni Louis. "Sabagay, everything about you is worth waiting for."

Nakangiti niyang hinalikan ang matangos na ilong ni Louis.

"I love you so much, Jade" nasa mga mata ni Louis ang sinabi.

"Alam ko, at mahal na mahal din kita. Nang sobra" pagkasabi niyon ay hinawakan niya ang mukha nito saka muling hinalikan.

Elyon knew that "Romance" is not his strong point. He writes a fantasy story with romance, but he can't tell if the romance will be able to attract female readers. Out of curiosity, he asked some of his fellow authors the question "Why do you read romance stories?"

Here are their answers…

Kyosei: Because I am single. 

Reili: To fill my empty void of a love life.

Minrei: Because romance let you feel what is to be loved, plus it is universal you dont need to learn magic or cultivation in order to read.

Bajj: Due to lack of romance irl.

Murakami: I read because I enjoy the friction and conflict between the FL and ML. The insistence vs resistance is naisu.

Qin: I reads romance only for ideas and info.

VlassisBehrakis: I don't read romance novels.

Elyon then  ̶a̶m̶b̶u̶s̶h̶e̶d̶ asked some readers about their opinion about romance novels.

Yin: I read romance novels because I want that kind of drama to happen to me in real life. But I know it will never happen haha.

A Certain Irresistible Meowlin: I wonder why? And I do read romance novels. Though the chance of me dropping them is also the highest out of all the genres. Every so often I come across a scene that makes me just want to squeal and fangirl.

Elyon decided to dig deeper and asked a few of his senior "romance authors" some questions about their reason for writing romance stories.

The first question is… Why did you choose to write Romance Stories?

Anjeeriku: I'm comfortable writing romance stories compared to other genres. I'm a helpless romantic person and I like novels that can invoke other people's feelings.

Bajj: First of all, I like reading romance story. It was the reason why I read books before and reading other genres comes after. All in all, due to these romance fiction books, I got the opportunity to read more great books with different genre.

MishaK: That's what I read, so write that too.

Zehell2218: Because as reader, I want to read romance novel so when I write, I write romance since my motto is I write what I want to read.

Ikazainudin: The easiest genre. Everyone can relate.

End_of_Era: It wasn't a full on Romance, it was slice of life with romance which I feel was necessary with progression of the characters.

The second question… When you were making your ML and FL, did you imagine yourself as the lead of your story at any given point in time?

Anjeeriku: I would be a liar if I said no. There were instances that I'd put myself in my FL's shoes. Whenever that happens, my writing feels more passionate and truthful that sometimes it was hard to know where my fl starts and where I end. 

Shen Yi, LMD's ML was based on a person I've lost, The One That Got Away so it was sometimes hard not to self-insert whenever there were scenes that need to invoke feelings from readers. 

Bajj: I believe that every character the author was making and breathing life into it, a part of him/her is added to its character. But me imagining of being the ML/FL, never. I'm too pure for that. Kek

MishaK: Yes I did but sometimes. Otherwise you can't infuse emotions in your characters. It is important to understand your characters.

Zehell2218: Yes, I imagine myself as the lead. Of course, I tweak it a bit, such as in age and appearance. But mostly, the characteristics is similar to me.

Ikazainudin: FL and ML character based on what I want to be irl. Yup. I imagine that will be my love story.

End_of_Era: Yes, my leads had some ocassional self insertion.

The third question… If you were to choose some other genre aside from romance, what would you pick?

Anjeeriku: Fantasy. I always look up to those authors who can write fantasy stories/novels well. I believe writing a fantasy novel is harder than writing romance.

Let's just say that it's a unique way to see a world in the eye of a lady (if you are a man of course). When done properly, the execution of the story can capture the hearts of anyone, even male readers. I believe that no matter what gender you are, as long as you find the story interesting then it doesn't matter whether you are a guy or a gal no?

Perhaps, when I'm not too busy to write my stories, I'll once again pick a romance novel to read. Hopefully, I will find another hidden gem that will bring unexpected surprises to anyone who are lucky enough to find them.

It's me again, Lemon Grenade. After creating the story Reincarnated into a Shingle Sea Urchin, I realized how fast I did things and how I didn't put much effort into the story. I've spent my time thoughtfully contemplating on how to improve myself this year before I came up with a new story.

I originally promised another story that involved aliens and game elements, but I got extremely lazy during that time and temporarily gave up. But I've been working on others in secret during my silence. This time I came up with one that's unique and something I'm willing to invest more time in compared to my first one which was a prototype.

This time I won't try to speed run things. I'll try to put effort into the storyline and plot. I'll try to personalize characters and put effort into them. Unlike the first time, I have a relatively good path that I plan on following. Yes, I said that for my first novel, but complications rose so I ended it prematurely.

But I won't start releasing chapters for a while. If I do, the pressure will bring up my habit of speed running things. Once I've completed a portion of it that I've deemed satisfactory, I'll start releasing chapters.

I have reasons as to why I chose the main character to be a female.
The first reason is because I feel more enthusiastic when the character I'm imagining is female.

The second reason is because I'm tired of almost all the female Wuxia/Xianxia novels that I manage to find and read. It's very hard (and rare) to find a legit cultivation novel with a female protagonist that cultivates seriously.
Almost all female cultivation novels have a main male character that goes after them. It results in a lot of romance and little cultivation. The same could be said to multiple male characters going after the single female protagonist. It just results in too much comedy and romance, with little cultivation time taken seriously.

Examples would be Genius Doctor: Black Belly Miss and The Demonic King Chases His Wife. Although I've read the first to 300 and the second to 500, which isn't the whole, I stopped because of the romance. Although yes, there was a period of time where they separated, but even then, cultivation wasn't really taken seriously. 
(Correct me if this changes past what I've read. I'm kinda judging, but what I've said is mostly true for what I've read so far. So you can't blame me)

The ones that I can really appreciate are Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka? and The Good-For-Nothing Seventh Young Lady.
The first one has almost no romance with the female character and is all about evolving to become stronger in order to survive. 
The second does have multiple males going after her, but she takes cultivation very seriously and puts in effort to cultivate. If not, she's usually doing important business stuff or figuring out problems. She's not even in love with any of the male throughout the entire story, only friendship. It's extremely slow romance as she slowly falls for a guy that only has a soul, but has a personality that I like very much.

You can find plenty of male cultivation novels, and a lot of them are famous. Almost all of them seriously focus on cultivation; pursuing the Dao with not a lot of romance. Even the ones with female leads still do cultivation seriously even if the male protagonist falls in love.

But NO! When it's a female, the cold and dark world of cultivation suddenly becomes all happy and vibrant! It's all about the male guy! Yes, I have seen darkness and coldness in female cultivation novels like the ones above, but definitely not as much as one with a male MC. It's like the whole world has to be nicer just because the MC is a girl!

For male MC's, most of them struggle to the top. They have to work their way to advance by slaughtering enemies and using them as stepping stones in pursuit of the great Dao. They always severely injure themselves while approaching the brink of death just to survive. There's always gore, evil, and darkness that the MC has to traverse through while maintaining their sanity.

But NO! It's different for a female MC! They do struggle, but definitely not as much. Enemies are slaughtered and used as stepping stones, but I've never seen a female have a Dao they want to pursue. Yes they injure themselves, but definitely not as bloody and gory. Life or death situations are way less compared to the latter. Things are seemingly brighter with a female MC.

The best part of it all is that they're buffed with their seemingly harsh past life. Almost all female MC's in cultivation novels have OP medical skills, assassin skills, and military skills from their past life. I've never seen a female MC cult. novel where she was originally born in a cultivation world and has to work her way up. I've seen several male MC novel's like that, but no female.

Yes, I know male MC's are like that too, but not a lot of them actually have the female tropes. A good portion of them are just male MC's who are in high school or college, or just an average worker. They have to learn harsh things and go through mentally insane things. On the other hand, females are granted buffs and don't start this way out when they arrive. (Correct me if there is a female cultivation novel like that)

In conclusion, the males usually have the tough life while the females can just relate to their past life to get things done. Not to mention getting help from the leading male(s) character(s).
 
You really can't sympathize with the female MC's suffering in their past life as they usually do a brief overview of what their other worldly harsh life was like (sometimes male as well). The males usually have to go through hardships throughout the novel which immerses the reader (most of the time).

Well, as a person who believes in gender equality, this is a frustrating problem for me. I just wish there'd be more novels where the female has to suffer hardships physically and mentally like the male trope does without the buffer and external help from their lover. I also just wish the female would pursue the Dao and not crazily fall in love.

I know you're all saying, "But Lemon! Those novels are to catch readers that love romance!"
I know! But do you think all males and females like romance cultivation novels? 
"But these are all romance cultivation novels!"
Where's the action filled, Dao pursuing cultivation novels with female MC's?!
Where's the female MC's that pursue a lonely road of cultivation like the male MC's?!
I bet there's tons of female and male readers wanting more action-packed, little romance female Xianxia/Wuxia novels!

To make matters worse, they make the males personality traits very annoying to other males! Only the Seventh Young Lady has satisfactory male traits including the leading male.

Yes this all sounds sexist, but hear me out. 
I know some like the romance part, but as a person who loves action-filled novels, the romance part isn't all that big for me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy romance ones as well, but only if the MC is a male and the romance is kept in check and not exaggerated like the female ones. Very rarely will I enjoy a male lead in a female cultivation (Seventh Young Lady).

Yes, I am using past life experience for the female MC, but that's because I'm lazy. I can understand why the others use this buff of their female MC's, but apparently it's easy for the male and not for the female.

I will try to do as little romance as possible in this novel and keep cultivation serious. There will be a little, but I don't know if I'll include a handsome male lead or multiple male leads. It all depends on the direction of this novel.
