Mc POV : 

Its been few months since I have been reborn into  the Harry Potter universe and it's been  uncomfortable  but warming. Uncomfortable due to not bing able to move and not having a personal space , while warming because of the love and doting  I get from my family  as I was an orphan in my previous life.

My training has finally show results and now I am able to sense 20 m around me . My control of magic has also improved as I trained with  having my toys flying around .I also  tried to sense the magic of the surrounding  while successful ,it was painfull to say atleast as I fainted right after due to having my brain overload. I am now three months old and decided on give them hints ,so they could accept my maturing faster then the kids . 

I have already made my plans on what to do
1 )making my family no 1 economic force in the world
2) learning martial arts 
3) gathering information on the magical world 
4 ) becoming influencetial in magical world .
5) becoming the strongest in both magical and muggle world.

As I was thinking about the I need things to do  my mom  come to me with a bag , as I saw filled with toys  and said to me " My little ignis how are  you ? come see mom bought new toys !!"

I grinned and said my first word "Mom!!!" . to which her expression turned suprised then to excitement as she picked me up and said "My baby said his first word  and he said mom !!" .            and then started walking towards the living room where my father was saying "Dear see little Ignis  said his first word "  .  and then said  not bothering to wait for reply " And do you know what he said ?? he said mom !!!!"
 
 Dad stood up waking towards mom and me asking  me "ignis say it again ??" . with a joyful expression he had  .
I did as he asked saying "Mom".  Were my mother showed a triumphant smile seeing which he  showed a forced which did not last long as I said " Dad "  To which he happy if the joyfull  smile was any indication .

Time skip 9 months

Author POV

We see a young boy playing around the  house or as the other would see it .  The boy seem very fit for his age with cute looks which can make  older women mad to carry him . He is of course our OP  Mc, Ignis.

Nine months have passed since that day he said his first word and he has already successful done a lot of training his magic control had gone off the roof  with him able to control his magic . His  training in senses has also improved with him able to sense 3 km . He was also able to sense magic in the surrounding without fainting . He showed his family  knowing how to walk at the age of five months and with it also started building stamina  by basic running around the house . He had also shown his family that he can read and write with the "help" from his grandparents as they "thought " him how to read.

Today is  my first birthday and also my first year coming to Harry Potter universe .I am  excited as today I  can ask my parents so i can start going to family library to read books ,as I  was banned from going there by his mother caught me red handed reading high level books  saying that I am too young to read that kind of book.

 
 As I sense mother coming I stop running and sat in the sofa  just to see the door to the room open with my mother   coming in  and   sitting down saying  "  Ignis , today is your birthday  so we are celebrating tonight and invited some friends of ours !!"

I replied "ok mother " . 

As the day went by I was getting visible exited which my family shrugged off thinking it was due to my birthday and meeting new people.

At noon people came in with their children which I have no interest in taking to . My birthday proceeded like normal with  me blowing my candle and recieving presents .The others congratulated and introduced there childrens whome I politely greeted and then they started to leave as my party  came to an end  . 

As the people left after the party I sitting with my family as it was family tradition to give the last gift,  my mother asked " Son what do you want as a gift??"

I immediately replied with a grin " I want the permission to enter library and read books "
 My mother visible grew annoyed but still replied " ok but no more then 2 hours until you are older " 
 I replied " ok mother " as I had the perfect memory so it was no problem to me.
   I then went to my room where I immediately fall asleep due to being existed all day  but suddenly woke up in a strange dream ....

The next morning in the Arkhases british manor.

I'ts the day that they decided to go to the Diagon Alley to buy all the school supplies for the school year, it's a brightful day without cloud at sight and the temperature is quite hot and promise to be even hotter in the afternoon, a good day to doing shopping.

The countryside where the manor is located is near of London where the Diagon Alley is located, the entry of the Diagon Alley behind a pub called the "Leaky Cauldron", a popular wizarding pub, it was built by Daisy Dodderidge in the early 1500s, it serve as a gateway between the wizarding world and the muggle world since then. The Diagon Alley is widely known and not only in Britain but also in Europe even if almost every country has something like the Diagon Alley for buying wizarding furnitures. The Diagon Alley is one of the biggest wizrding shop place in the world and the biggest in Europe, just ahead the Place Cachée in Paris in France.

"Do we need to go to Gringotts" asked Alexandre to his parents.

"It's not necessary, we keep enough galleon with us to buy half of the Diagon Alley so we don't need to go to these ugly little creatures, they are so arrogant and only love gold, I'm not their biggest fan, but I still respect them and don't have racis thoughts them" answered Jonathan while smiling, then a slight frown came to cover his handsome visage when he said the last part.

"Great, I didn't heard a lot of good on them and I don't really want to go to this bank."

"Even if don't really like them, I still like and highly respect Filius Flitwick, he is half-goblin and he is a very strong wizard, probably one of the strongest of the world, he is a Charm master and won many times the Dueling Championship and is still called Duelling Champion, he will be your Charm teacher at Hogwarts and he is the head of Ravenclaw house, I'm sure you will like him, he is a formidable teacher and very tolerant person and very protective of his students, be nice with him, show some talent and maybe he will teach you the art of Duelling, if one day he proposes to you to learn it, accept immediately, no one can teach how duelling better than him." Said Jonathan with a serious tone in his voice where a deep admiration could be heard. 

"We will go for the Diagon Alley, we will apparate in front of the Leaky Cauldron, don't forget to cast an invisibility charm before, it will spare some muggles to wet themselves if they saw us appear in front of them from the thin air without any notice" said Marcus with a smile.

"Alexandre, take the hand of Jonathan, Aurore the one of your father and Yoruichi, take the mine" said Elena.

The three childrens, as said, took the hand of the three adults, ready to go make some shopping in the Diagon Alley.

"Invisibilis" said the three adults and they, along with the childrens became invisible like if nobody was here and they soon apparated from the manor to the Leaky Caudron.

It was said in the books and in the movies that apparating was very uncompfortable when you are new at this, this is very true, it's a very weird feeling, I don't know how describe it but it makes me sick. We apparated in front of the Leaky Cauldron, after verified that nobody was here, mom, dad and uncle uncasted the invisibility charm.

We soon entered in the pub and I must say that it's look like in the movies but way bigger, it's old, dusty, it's like a old tavern you would see in movies in medieval times. The pub was filled with a lot of wizards and witches and of course magic was everywhere, chairs were flying, glass washing themselves. Without losing any times, we walked towards the exit of the pub and soon reached a small, walled courtyard. We reached a brick wall, dad took his wand and tapped on some bricks with it, sonn the briks started to moove and the wall slowly disapeared to let us enter in the Diagon Alley.

I'm finaly in the Diagon Alley, on of the most famous place in the Harry Potter world, filled with as famous shops, it's a magnificent sight, it's a quite narrow paved street filled with shops on the right and on the left, it's also very crowded and we can only trample on the paved ground. It's probably with stars stars in the eyes that I, with my family, slowly make my way in this famous and magic street, I turn my head in every way to try to catch the sight of everything, almost affraid to miss some of this magnificent sight. Now I can said "I'm in the Harry Potter world", of course I already started to learn magic but we can't said that we are in the Harry Potter world before going in the Diagon Alley or Hogwarts, the two emblematic places are the unavoidable place of this world for every fans of the saga Harry Potter, and it's with joy, euphoria and delight that I slowly stepp on this mythic street, the Legendary Diagon Alley.

We started by buying quills and ink in the shop called "Amanuensis Quills" then we went in one of the most famous shop for every Harry Potter fans, the shop called "Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions" to buy our school uniforms, I also passed an order for a dress robe, exactly the same that Alone wears when he is possessed by Hades in Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas, my looks are extremely similars to him, except my eyes, they are way more beautiful and magic, it's not like I want to brag but I often find Yoruichi lost while staring at them, even Daphne is sometimes blushing when she looks at my eyes, it must be said that their colour is quite unnatural.

We were ready to go to the next shop when someone bumped into me, when I noticed who bumped into me, a slight smil appeared on my face.

When Henry Marth, a rich, handsome and playboy but lazy young adult save a strange black cat at the cost of his legs and his handsome face he lost everything, his friends, his girlfriend, even the love from his parents, he finally saw how superficial everything in his life was and ultimately sinked in depression. After giving Mrs. Diamond a surprise that she will try her hardest to forget, Alistair notices the halo on Rogers chest burst into light fragments and fade away.

She quickly tries to hide her astonishment and says, "You did not have to subject yourself to that since I have already committed to terminating the oath. I hope you know that you will still have to attend classes even if you are sick." 

However, deep down she becomes impressed with his decision to follow through with his punishment even after being let off the hook.

Alistair gives her an enthusiastic smile and says, "Of course! This type of food is the best for me after all!" quickly turning his attention to Roger, who is packaging a box of beautifully cooked food from the table behind Mrs. Diamond, he says, "Now it's time to fulfill your oath with me!"

Without giving Mrs. Diamond anymore time to process the his actions or become upset even further, Alistair grabs Roger by the hand and pulls him out of the cafeteria, barely giving him enough time to stuff the food away into his clothing.

"W-Wait! Where are we going so suddenly?" Roger questions in a slight befuddled tone.

"We are going to the library to teach me how to read! You already agreed so you wouldn't back out now would you?" Alistair slows down in the hall outside of the cafeteria, beckoning for Roger to take the lead to the library.

"You mean right now? It's going to take a while to teach you man! I got to get the materials ready and a lesson plan from the teachers and everything." Roger tries to placate Alistair into letting him go so he can enjoy his food while it is still warm.

"No can do! I need to learn by today to understand what I need to do everyday and where to go! Unless you want to be with me all day, everyday!" Alistair smiles mischievously as he follows behind Roger.

"By today!? You are asking the impossible man! You are trying to learn how to read and write in a single day! You got to pace yourself! Besides, I haven't even eaten yet. Let's just hold off until tomorrow, okay?" Trying his best to reason with Alistair, Roger tries to explain the difficulty of the task while mindlessly walking towards library.

"Don't worry! I'm a fast learner and you can eat while you teach me! I'll even make you a deal, if you have to repeat anything even once for me, then we can stop, sound fair?" Alistair smiles brightly at Roger as the walk into a room filled with books and desks from wall to wall.

Roger turns his head from one side to the other, realizing that he just led Alistair right to the library due to them talking about it the entire time. He hangs his head in defeat as he looks at Alistair and weakly nods.

"Fine, then let's start with these." He walks over to a shelf filled with childrens books that explain lettering and pronunciation.

One hour later

Alistair has a plethora of books next to his side while a downcast Roger is sitting across from him eating his food at a very slow pace, seemingly unable to enjoy the taste of the amazing food.

Two hours later

Alistair begins going through the dictionary at a breakneck speed memorizing each words definition and pronunciation. Roger left due to being ignored by Alistair for long periods of time, feeling unneeded.

Three hours later

Alistair learns a better way to speed read through book with the spiral absorbing information as if a black hole, all he has to do is view the page for a brief second and the contents will be memorized.

Four hours later

Alistair begins to realize that the rate at which he is able to retain information is beginning to slow down. To the point where he will actually have to read each page individually. From this, he also feels the spiral in his mind slowing down to a crawl, seemingly satisfied.

Alistair lifts his head up from the books he had his nose buried in. Satisfied with the progress he made today, he decides to head back to his bedroom to sort through the information he was able to find out.

He leaves the library and heads towards his dorm. He enters his room and lays on the bed staring at the ceiling, thinking to himself.

"From what I can gather, I appear to have something very wrong with me. The only mentions in any of the books that I read, regarding my insane hunger are references to zombies, cannibals, and other beasts that roam the wilds."

He touches his abdomen, feeling the cold skin and a slight movement underneath in the flow of a spiral.

"I guess I need to keep my appetite a secret from the people around me. Luckily, I managed to get by on everyone assuming I have a special constitution. However, no constitutions affect anyone's diet. Even if one did though, it would not drive them to the point of insanity."

He moves his hand up to his neck, remembering the scene with the beast back in the wilds, and it's message, "You must grow stronger little one...You are going to be part of me eventually, after all." 

What stuck more on his mind however is the beast mentioned that he had been thrust into a "game". One where it is assumed that he will be the one to die. A cold chill runs down Alistair's back when he thinks of his fate if left up to the beast.

He shakes his head to snap himself out of that state of mind comes to the decision of, "I do not know why my memory is so good for a while, or why my I lose focus when I'm hungry. I'll need to learn more about what I am and grow stronger if I want to live without worrying about being prey to another."

He turns to the schedule he received from Professor Washington previously.

"It seems that I am not the only new student for tomorrow, meaning I will be in the same starting point as the others." He reads the introductory passage of his classes and sees the start date of the semester as tomorrow.

"The first class I have tomorrow will be...?" He turns the page to look at his classes.

It's my first novel and I am writing here to just get some feedback. Please don't hold back and give me everything you got. I'll take mindless rants and very constructive good criticism. I just appreciate the fact that you took the time to read and review if you did!

Further update. This novel is now on pause. I have been taking everything in from the experience of writing this novel, both positive and negative feedback. I will revisit this novel in the future after I get a more concise picture of what direction to take it in. In the meantime, I am going to be writing another novel on my own time and after I finish it, I will begin the daily upload process. After I finish, I will come back and revise this story on my own time and re-post it after fixing everything I want to fix.

Fifty years had passed since the dark days, the world has become stable. Thirty years ago the animals in dormancy began to wake up. People wrote historical records of all the past they could remember of; Human wars, description of eras, technology, past discoveries and common knowledge.

The population kept going down until now, schools were made to share the knowledge of the old generation.

Supernatural events kept happening in the world, natural disasters were locked in some zones of the world. Animals life cycle and reproductive rate became accelerated, each animal generation was stronger than the previous one.

Human population faced another setback after a third of the born childrens were under the dormancy status half of the day. All kind of solutions were tried for it, nothing worked. Most of the children who had it died while sleeping.

But then, the first child survived. After his fifteenth birthday there was no longer dormancy. 

He "awoke".

The moment he awoke faint traces of light could be seen from his skin, dissipating in the air as he recovered the sobriety. He lost the protection but gained life. In his eyes world became more colourful, he could see dim traces of light all around him and feel as if a marvelous substance where filling the entire space.

As he awoke it was like the first spark of a chain reaction, the humans who were under dormancy began to woke up. Not all of the people who fell asleep in the beginning were alive. Almost all of them died leaving behind no more than ashes. The same can be said for the animals.

The dormancy status will be described in the future as the way the living creatures who could produce resonance with the universe energy, named ether as a way to commemorate the human ancestors who once believed on it, try to adapt unconsciously their bodies so they could evolve into beings who are blessed by the ether and can get to control it.

Humans who began to woke up, discovered all their environment had changed. the unlucky ones which where left on the wild could be now under large water bodies, entangled on the roots of the new large trees, under the ground or deep into some beasts territories. The ones who had been carried along by their families where no more than a twentieth of them. And less luckiest than them where the ones who could awoke in the surface, near some resources to live. If the resources were enough, it would mean a big possibility that a human settlement could be near or not that far.

Thie history books named this epoch as the beginning of the apotheosis, the ascension of the peasants. The mortals were a step closer to divinity. The high beings were born again in this world.

The modern world suffered great changes made by the universe energy retraction. The door of spirituality and the struggle for power was left open by the possibility of "ascencion to godhood". Gods were no longer myths and legends, the ancient tools came back to life and the new gods are in need to reign.

he then went to find kakashi

once he found kakashi he saw that he was giggling aswell and grinned

"kakashi you got to read this" jiraiya said grinning as he showed him the page

once kakashi read it he started to giggle as well

they both giggled together with blood gushing from there noses

"huh 15 minutes maybe the alarm wasn't good enough to wake me up" he said to himself

meanwhile kakashi and jiraiya were walking  quietly  to the meeting place reading their porn  perverted giggling escaping their mouths once in a while 

some of the women looked at them in disgust whille the single mothers covered their childrens ears who were looking on in confusion in slight curiousity 

back with  the Aaron 

he was just reading his fanfiction till he spotted  jiraiya and kakashi coming toward him 
and smiled 

"so did you guys have fun" he asked 

"you bet we did gaki" jiraiya replied grinning while kakashi eye smiled 

 they had  bags of clothes in there right hand and  a couple  of books in the left 

as I looked at them I  sighed and palmed my face

{ of course they would by porn} he thought  before he heard a shout 

"DAD" shouted naruko as she ran in  dropped her bags and hugged him and grinned  I rubbed her whisker marks she purred I smiled 

"hey naru chan how was your trip" 

naruko was suprised as he never called her that before  she started to blush but then fought it down 

It was fine but we might want to hurry up and get out of here once the others come I managed to get here before them 

why is that? I asked  jiraiya and kakashi started to look on in confusion 

beca- was an even louder noise that inturrupted  what she said we all looked up 

jiraiya and kakashi sweatdropped while I groaned 

tsuande kushina sakura and even satuski all had panicked expressions while they were running toward my location  with a mob of fanboys chasing after them  

"TO THE VAN DATTEBANE" kushina yelled panicking before she grabbed my hand along with naruko who grabbed her bags and dragged us to the veichle  

tsuande did the same to jiraiya and kakashi and we drove off 

seconds before the  fanboys came out and started to run after the car yelling "wait for me princess"  and "I cant live with out you" before  the van disappeared at a far distance

Diagon Alley, it was as I imagined it to be, a stunning medieval buildings with a lot of weird looking people, anyways we first went to Gringotts to exchange my money to a Galleons, at first, professor Mcgonagall told me the school will loan me some money, but I quickly refused, and told her I have some money from my parents.

As I enter the bank, I see a lot of tall disks with an ugly looking goblins, but I don't dislike them because of their looks, because in the end what truly matter is the character, * Fake Humble Sigh*.

As we go inside, we walk to the disk with the sign (Muggle Money Exchange) professor Mcgonagall then talked to the goblin "Excuse me, Mr. Najashi wishes to make an exchange from pound to Galleons,

Then the goblin looks down on me expressionlessly and talk "how much would you like to exchange".

"I want to exchange £800", I said in a calm tone.

"Very well Mr. Najashi, That will be 265 Galleons 8 Sickles 3 Knuts".

As we got out of the bank, we see a Family of red hears walking towards us.

"Oh, professor Mcgonagall, I thought it was you! how are you doing?" said the redhead women which I presume is molly Weasley.

"I'm doing quit fine molly, how are your childrens? I believe the twin will be going to Hogwarts this year!, and where is Mr. Weasley? I hope he is fine".

"Oh yes, these two prankster will be in your care this year *Sigh*, and I'm afraid my husband wouldn't make it today because of all the extra raids happening, and who's this young man you have with you", said Ms. Weasley in a warm tone.


"That's Mr. Najashi, Ekon Najashi a New First Year Student in Hogwarts"

*Ms. Weasley looks at with a Welcoming look*, "How are you dear I hope you doing fine!, come and meet my sons, that's George and Fred", "Hi Ekon, how are you", "me and my twin will be going with you to Hogwarts this Year!". the twins spoke after each other in a funny way.

Then I turn to Ms. Weasley and say in a polite tone, "pleasure to meet you Ms. Weasley."

After that we bought our clothes and books together, and I took that opportunity to become friends with twins, and I have to say you will never be bored with them, after that we parted away, and professor Mcgonagall told me we have to go now to Ollivander to buy my wand, I was a little bit nervous, (ok this is the moment!, this will be a day I will never forget!).




So we are now in front of the shop, and as I open the door I see a pale looking man looking at me with his creepy eyes then he come closer and closer till I Talked in loud clear voice "Hi I'm Ekon a new Student In Hogwarts and I need a wand".

"Oh Well hello there Mr. Ekon"

"General Kenobi"

"What??"

"Oh sorry Nothing". (old Habits never Die *Smile*).

(he then Handed me the wand, and as I take it from him black and white light illuminate around me, and I felt tremendous strength from the wand).

"Great, That's wonderful Mr. Ekon it seems I Finally Found the one, aaand that wand will be 12 Galleons for the wand!".

"WHAT !!!, That's too much for a wand if I remember correctly a wand will cost 7G!".

"NO NO Mr. Ekon, Please calm Down, I'm not scamming you or anything …. after a long time, and a lot of Bullshit Scamming, I grew tired and Sick of seeing his face Trying to bargain with him, we settled the price to 9G, if I asked to lower it anymore I'm sure he will hex me and kick me out of the store.


After that scam Shop, we bought an owl, I did not care what owl will I Buy I only wanted it for the mail.


Then after that the professor Dropped me in the Orphanage and apparated to god knows where.

For the Following weeks I practiced my Spells and Studied the First Year Students Books, I Focused mostly on transfiguration and potions.

Among the 12 Chinese candidates, there were two girls and ten boys. They stayed in six double rooms on the same floor.
As Ye Jian and Yang Ye entered their room, the first thing they did was to take out the books and exam papers, some of which were in English, from their luggage and put them next to the head of their beds.
They didn't pack other clothes, except for their blue and white school uniforms. The short-sleeved shirts and long trousers had a refreshing sports style.
It was lunchtime at 12 o'clock. When Ye Jian and the other 11 Chinese candidates walked to the cafeteria of the hotel, they found that all the candidates from the different countries had gathered there!
As a token of their hospitality, the students of Australia, which was the host country, talked with the students from other countries in the cafeteria.
Ye Jian glanced around the cafeteria. There were several groups of black-haired Asian students, but the Vietnamese students were not seen. She must know their whereabouts to keep an eye on the Red Scorpion.
At the sight of so many students in one cafeteria, Yang Ye whispered to Ye Jian, "Tut, tut, tut. I'm going to have stomachache due to the pressure…"
"Do not…" Before Ye Jian could finish her words, a commotion came from behind. And then, she heard Gu Fan, a Chinese candidate, saying in a deep voice, "You need to apologize!"
All the students participating in the competition spoke fluent English. And Gu Fan spoke standard American English. Ye Jian knew it was him by listening to him speak.
As she turned around, she saw a Vietnamese boy glaring at Gu Fan. There were several books scattered on the floor. Gu Fan brought them over from China.
"Why should I apologize?!" said the Vietnamese boy in a fierce tone. Sneering, he continued, "This is a public place. And you have blocked our way by standing here!"
The viciousness of the boy and the hatred in his words were a bit absurd.
And the other Vietnamese students were just like him. It seemed as if the Chinese students in front of them were their enemies.
"You are a group of impolite invaders. I will not apologize to you," said the boy, escalating a simple matter to the conflict between the two countries. 
All of a sudden, the Chinese students shot sharp and fierce glances at the Vietnamese students.
Invaders? How dare he claim that the Chinese were invaders?!
Ye Jian had a calm look on her face, but her black eyes were shooting a sword-like gaze at the Vietnamese student.
She approached the stone-faced Gu Fan and whispered to him, "Go and get the teachers. Let's not argue with them about this kind of matter." If these Vietnamese students wanted to discuss the conflicts between China and Vietnam in the past 30 years, she wouldn't mind talking with them.
Gu Fan lowered his head to look at his books which were knocked over on the floor. He thought that now that he was in Australia, he should not have disputes with the students of other countries. As he bent over to pick up his books, Ye Jian grabbed him by his wrist. Smiling, she said, "They should apologize and pick up your books. It has nothing to do with international conflicts. We don't need to treat these people of ill manners kindly."
She spoke in English with composure in her tone. But the look in her eyes was fierce.
"I will go and find the teachers. Boys, help Ye Jian! Don't let anyone bully her!" said Yang Ye sternly. She had realized that the Vietnamese were provoking them intentionally. "I don't believe they have the guts to play any tricks in this place!"

The little old man was very energetic. He ran into the kitchen and smiled at the two of them. His eyes curved into crescent moon-like shape, emanating an unspeakable, strange feeling.

Looking into his eyes, Li Du suddenly realized why he felt so familiar!

On the second day after the bugs entered the brain of Ah Meow, he went to the city park to look for stray cats and dogs, intending to carry out an experiment. In the end, he saw Sophie was feeding the animals.

Later, when he was about to leave, he had almost fainted after using up too much energy because of the bug. This little man had helped and ridiculed him. 

Mr. Martin looked at him and smiled. "You’ve finally thought of it. You have a good memory."

Mr. Li was speechless now.

The dishes were cooked. Soon enough, the table was full of food. Finally, the scallop tofu soup was placed at the center of the table, and all the dishes were there.

Mr. Martin gave Li Du a thumbs-up. He smiled with his eyes. "You are really talented. Seeing all this Chinese food gives people like me an appetite. I like Chinese food. Chinese food is very healthy!"

Lisa Martin nodded in agreement. "Yes, we want to eat more Chinese food in the future. The flavor of Chinese food is quite unique. Unfortunately, there are only a few Chinese restaurants in Flagstaff."

Li Du said unconsciously, "Mrs. Martin, if you like it, I can come and cook for you in the future. I have a lot of free time."

After saying these words, he regretted speaking without due consideration.

But Mrs. Martin felt satisfied and smiled. She said, "Our kitchen is always open for you. You are such a good young man."

Mr. Martin laughed and said nothing. He used chopsticks to grab food for Mrs. Martin. Both of them showed affection in front of Sophie and Li. Sophie ignored them and she fed Ah Meow a piece of salmon. Ah Meow enjoyed it with delight. 

Later, they started to talk about some daily topics. Mr. Martin began to ask Li Du about his job.

Li Du told him about the storage auction work. He also told them about some of the interesting encounters during his work.

Mrs. Martin listened attentively. Both of them put down their chopsticks when he spoke. From this, Li Du understood that they were well-behaved, educated people.

After a while, Mr. Martin said, "I remember that the child of the Fox family is in the same business too, right? The child who wrote a blood letter and pretended that he was using his own blood when, in fact, it was the blood of pigeon."

Li Du was surprised at first. D*mn, was he referring to Hans?

Sophie answered his question, "Hans Fox is Li's partner. They work well together."

Mr. Martin gasped for air, and looked strange after hearing this.

Li Du reacted quickly. He suddenly understood why Mr. Martin looked strange. As there was a saying that "birds of a feather flock together," the elders must have been thinking that he was a playboy as well as Hans!

This moment, he felt a deep sense of powerlessness, as Hans was his brother and Sophie was his girlfriend. It was difficult to make a choice.

Sophie spoke before him. "In character, Li and Hans are totally different. I know him because of Ah Meow. At that time, Ah Meow was a stray cat. It suffered a near-fatal trauma, and Li spent 2,000 dollars to save it…"

Beginning with Ah Meow, she told them things she knew about Li Du.

Li Du was embarrassed. Sophie gave a face to him by highly praising his morality and his character.

After Sophie finished her speech, Mr. Martin said immediately, "What happened in Bones Community? Why don’t we know about it? "

Both the guests and the hosts were thoroughly enjoying themselves. Mr. Martin drove Li Du back to his apartment with his old Chevrolet after he realized that he had not driven to Sophie’s.

The next day, they need to handle all the books they had acquired from the auction.

There were mainly novels; Li Du thought the second-hand books were valuable.

He asked Godzilla to put all the second-hand books together, and then he identified their value. Hans was in charge of the new books; he would classify them and then try his best to sell everything off.

Hans gave Li Du a laptop and said, "The Internet may help you a lot, dude. Judging the value of the old books will be a difficult task."

However, it was not a difficult task for Li Du. He put these books in good order and released the little bug. Then, the bug searched for the valuable books. 

Relatively speaking, the older the book, the greater the value of the book.

As expected, the bug did not let him down and quickly flew toward the books located in front of him.

However, it stopped on a photo album, not a book. 

Li Du retrieved the bug and took away the album from the stack. Then, he tried to release it again. The bug had no interest in the rest of the books. It flew lazily in the sky and it flew back to his hand again. 

He was very interested in this album. The album was thick, as big as the thirty-two-mo size. He opened the album to see some photos of desert landscapes.

The first half of the photos were mainly cacti, gravel, and dry river beds. The rests were sphinxes, pyramids, and various ruined buildings.

When he saw thede, he knew that the photos captured the Egyptian scenery. The photos were black and white with a yellowish tone to them. The material was soft and they were totally different from modern printed photos.

Li Du never studied photography, but he knew that these photos were old, absolutely not contemporary!

There was a total of 65 photos after he counted. He closed the album and shouted, "Big Fox, come over! I think I’ve found something interesting."



They love gold, and they love silver. Even more so, they love gems that dazzle, like stars across the skies.

Holding the fort, there’s an ocelot, a wolf, and an Andes condor. At the side, there’s a loyal hound, an irascible ape, and an African honey badger. Who said that you can only rely on humans when treasure hunting?! 


Pi was fond of reading Chinese books. At first, it was not very used to them. But the Chinese language had a magical power, in which each word was formed by special rules, and each word's form had a special meaning. This was fascinating to Pi. Take the word "mountain" (山) for example, by looking at this character, the peaks of the mountain seemed visible. 
It followed Zhang Zian's suggestions to sit straight in front of the computer and type for a while, then sit on the window sill to look into the distance and observe the busy pedestrians. After a few minutes, as the eyes were adjusted and relaxed, it sat in the basket hammock chair and read books on the tablet, then repeated the cycle. Pi enjoyed the routine.　　
Maybe Pi was already used to searching for information in the complex records of the nameless book. It was able to read extremely fast and not only was it able to understand everything, it was able to remember them. Each time Zhang Zian came upstairs to check on it, he found it reading a different book.　
"Eeek!"　　
Pi typed its explanation: "I've read the English versions of these books. That's why I read fast."　　
Zhang Zian nodded in acknowledgment.

Pi enjoyed any type of books. Novels, traveling journals, essays, poetry, science, biography...it enjoyed all of them. To satisfy his growing appetite for books, Zhang Zian retrieved the books he read in his childhood from the storage room, and borrowed some more from Wang Qian and Li Kun. He stacked the books next to the basket hammock chair so that it could access them any time.　　
Pi was gentle with the paper books. It handled them with care, and was careful when flipping the pages, yet these didn't slow down the reading.　
Soon, Pi finished reading all the paper books in Zhang Zian's house and those he borrowed elsewhere.　　
Apart from the daily business of the pet shop, Zhang Zian had an additional task of browsing the online shopping website for discounted books. He would buy some every time there was a promotion.　　

"Master, this is heavy! You are receiving a lot of couriers lately."　
Wang Qian and Li Kun walked into the shop with two heavy boxes, and placed them next to Zhang Zian's reclining chair.　
"Yes. I bought some books."　　
Zhang Zian removed the packaging with a knife. It was book series and journals. The journals were from last year, so the price was good. Pi was not picky about the publication dates anyway.　　
Wang Qian and Li Kun looked at the Abyssinian cat breeding book next to Zhang Zian, and asked in confusion, "Master, you've been buying so many books, but we've never seen you reading them..."　　
Zhang Zian rolled his eyes at them. "Do I have to let you see me reading? Can't I buy books for other use? Cut the crap. Go back and prepare for your exams!"　　
He didn't tell anyone else about Pi's arrival for now, especially Wang Qian and Li Kun. These two idiots had big mouths and liked bragging everywhere.

After seeing how happy it was, Zhang Zian felt both glad and troubled.　
A mound of books had risen next to the basket hammock chair. His old books, borrowed books, recently purchased books and journals were stacked into four peaks of a mountain. The tallest one was the same height as a person, and the smallest one was as high as the waist.　
Zhang Zian could not find the books as fast as Pi was reading them. The books would reach the ceiling in a few days.　　
Paper books were more expensive and less frequent in discount. Storage was also less convenient. Books and journals were consumables to Pi, and had little long-term 

storage value. After all, it owned a nameless book containing everything. Reading Chinese books was only to appreciate the beauty and depth of the language.　　
When not reading, Pi appeared lonely, bored and melancholic. It knew that it could not go downstairs and show up in front of other people, which might bring trouble to Zhang Zian. Even if it did go downstairs, there was nothing to do and it could not communicate with the other elfins. It might as well stay upstairs to type. But typing all day became boring too. So it often sat idly on the window sill.　　
Zhang Zian was worried about Pi, and so did Old Time Tea, the traditional Chinese medicine expert. Old Time Tea said that long-term melancholy was not healthy, and Pi would fall sick if it continued this way. In modern medical terms, Old Time Tea meant depression. When someone was alone and low-spirited for a long time without interaction with the outside world, it could end up having depression.　　
Humans were social animals, and so were monkeys. Pi might be the same, who behaved like a monkey. But Zhang Zian couldn't possibly get a troop of monkeys to play with it.　　
Many studies suggested that negative mood had a negative impact on health, and may cause a variety of acute and chronic diseases, such as gastric ulcer, endocrine disorders, hair loss, etc. He did notice a lot of short yellow hairs while sweeping the floor lately.　　
Since paper books were not enough for Pi's reading appetite, after much thinking, he decided to seek help from the omnipotent internet.　
"Pi, would you like to try online novels?" He suggested to Pi.　
"Eeek?"　　
Pi was reading in the basket chair, and was distracted by his question.　
Zhang Zian explained, "Online novels are a new form of reading as the internet grew popular. They are pretty much like the e-books, except that they were created to be shared on the internet."　　
"Eeek?"　　
Pi put down its book and typed on the laptop: "Are they fun to read?"　
"Some of them are, and some are not. Online novels have a lot of genres, and are many in number. You can always find the ones you like." Zhang Zian answered honestly. In fact, he had not read many online novels. He didn't sound very confident. 　 

Leaving literary and artistic quality aside, the biggest advantage of online novels was its volume and number. Before he could find a better solution, they could at least gratify Pi's reading appetite, and chase away the melancholy and boredom.　　
"Eeek!"　　
Pi nodded and typed: "I want to try some."　　
"Good. I'm downloading online reading apps for you."　
Zhang Zian took away the tablet, downloaded multiple popular online reading apps in the App Store, registered accounts for Pi, then taught it how to search for books.　 
Pi took back the tablet happily, and dived into the ocean of online novels.
