Lin Fan went to a shop nearby to buy a computer. As a computer god, how could he not have a computer?

The computer seller, Lil' Wang, was just assembling a computer. Lin Fan said, "Lil' Wang, is this computer okay? Will it hang?"

To Chinese doctors, this would be a great help and to Lin Fan, there was much to gain from this as well. From that day onwards, he wouldn't have to be afraid of not having enough Encyclopedic Points.

Sun Xiaomeng was sitting alone in her office, contemplating with her chin rested on her hands. 
In front of her, the computer screen was displaying two documents: one was a PDF file in English about animal behaviorism, and the other one was a Word file where the cursor was blinking. It was the Chinese version of the PDF file which was translated by a translation software. 
On her right side, a pot of bracket plant on the windowsill was bathing in the soft autumn sunshine and growing healthily, bringing vigor to this quiet and simple office. 
Behind her was a customized bookshelf that almost covered the whole wall. The bookshelf was stuffed with all kinds of professional books. Voluminous books that were as thick as dictionaries were put on the bottom, regular academic books were placed on the top shelves where she could reach them by raising her hands, and in the prime position in the middle were the latest journals and magazines in Chinese and in English. If she was going to relocate her clinic in the future, it would take much effort to move this bookshelf alone. 
It was not accurate to say that she was in contemplation: she was absent-minded. Her brain was completely vacant, a status she enjoyed very much, because she could temporarily get away from her busy schedule in the clinic and her studies so that her brain could get a rest. 
Knock, knock! 
She was woken up from her vacant status by a knock on her office door. 
"Come in." She rubbed her palms and placed her warm palms on her cheeks so that her stiff face became softer. 
Wang Qian and Li Kun pushed the door open, but they didn't come in. They just stood at the door and said, "Sister Xiaomeng, we have cleaned everywhere else except your office. Would you like to check up our work?" 
Sun Xiaomeng didn't ask them to clean this office because her "patients’" medical records were placed on her desk, and she was afraid that they would mess them up. Besides, she was the only one who usually came in this office, so it was not dirty at all.

Someone was knocking at the door again.

Long Xian pushed open the door and stuck in her head, "Sister Xiaomeng, Wu Yue is here. I have brought her to the operating room." 
"Okay, I'll be there in a minute." 
Sun Xiaomeng checked the calendar on her computer, and pulled a medical records file from the cubbyholes on her desk. She put it under one arm, walked out of the office quickly, made a right turn and then arrived at the operating room. 
"Hello, Doctor, I’m here to trouble you again." 
In the operating room was a middle-aged woman holding a flight case. She was dressed up elegantly, wearing a beige woolen coat that fit her well and a pale blue scarf that suited her temperament. She seemed well-educated from her behaviors and the way she talked. 
"Madam Wu, you are punctual as always." Sun Xiaomeng smiled at her cordially. Wu Yue was her long-term client, and she had been visiting her clinic every day recently. 
"I am very sorry to trouble you every day," said Wu Yue very politely. 
"What are you talking about? I’m just doing my job." Sun Xiaomeng had a very good impression of Wu Yue, not only because of her temperament and the way she talked, but also because of her decision. 
Sun Xiaomeng looked out the window, "It's a nice day today, but according to the weather forecast, tomorrow will be windy with temperature drops. Please keep warm and don't catch a cold." 
"Really? Thanks for reminding me. I will put on more clothes tomorrow." Wu Yue smiled gently. 
"Also, please keep Little White warm," Sun Xiaomeng reminded her. 
"Yes, absolutely." Wu Yue put the flight case in her hands on the ground and opened the case. She held up a Pekingese dog from the case. 
The Pekingese dog gazed at Sun Xiaomeng with its black-and-white eyes open wide, sticking its tongue out fawningly towards Sun Xiaomeng. It seemed quite perky. 
"Hello, Little White, how are you?" Sun Xiaomeng rubbed its chin and it barked twice. Little White enjoyed when she got close to it. 
Little White was a normal Pekingese dog that was wearing a pair of special shorts for dogs on its butt—this was quite normal, because many dog owners would put such shorts on their pets for many different reasons. For example, when the dogs were on their menstrual periods, or when the owners didn’t want their dogs to be sterilized nor did they want their dogs to get pregnant, or when their dogs were sick... 
Sun Xiaomeng held up Little White to the operating table, and Wu Yue put her hands on its body and touched it softly to stop it from moving. Little White was lying with its stomach on the table without moving or barking. Little White was not like this the first time it was here - it tried to run away a couple of times after seeing all the strange-looking tools and the cold stainless-steel operative instruments. 
Sun Xiaomeng opened the file and looked at Little White’s case. Though she could almost recite what was in there, she read through the file seriously out of respect to Wu Yue. 
"Is Little White’s diet schedule and bowel movements normal?" She put on the disposable rubber gloves and started the regular inquiry as diagnosis. 
"Yes, I totally follow the diet standard made by you," answered Wu Yue earnestly. Sun Xiaomeng formulated nutritional meals with ingredients precise to the unit of gram according to Little White’s age and weight. Little White seemed to be in good spirits recently, and it was probably due to Sun Xiaomeng’s nutritional menu. 
"Good to know." Sun Xiaomeng took out a small flashlight from the pocket of her white gown, turned it on and observed closely Little White’s eyes, nose, and ear canals. She then pinched its chin to observe its tongue and throat. 
She nodded towards Wu Yue, indicating everything was normal. 
Sun Xiaomeng took off the dog shorts worn by Little White. There was medical cotton and medical gauze circling Little White’s stomach and the binding was stabilized by medical tape. The furs around its stomach were shaved so short that its pink skin was visible. A bit of transparent plastic tube was sticking out from beneath the cotton. 
Wu Yue turned away her head. She couldn't bear to see it like this. 
Sun Xiaomeng took out Vaseline from the medicine cabinet and applied it on the anal thermometer to test the body temperature of Little White. 
Since they had been meeting every day, Little White felt very close to Sun Xiaomeng and almost treated her as its second owner. Though it shuddered a bit, it lay on the operating table still and didn't struggle or run away. 
Two minutes later, Sun Xiaomeng pulled out the anal thermometer and looked at the temperature indicated on it. 
"How is it?" Wu Yue asked anxiously. 
Sun Xiaomeng nodded towards Wu Yue again and smiled, "Its body temperature is normal. Little White is in good condition." 
Wu Yue exhaled one long breath, and relaxed for the first time since they met.

Instantaneous shadow kill was a high tier assassin skill. Even though the explanation was somewhat similar to the ultimate move of the assassin- death in one strike, the threat was much lesser, like a weaker version of the skill. The skill was flexible, which made it a good learning skill for beginners, it could even be used as an escape tool.
"Theft" needed no explanation. Even though it was not as perverse as Frost Blade's Pillage and it did not have a high success rate, the fact that it could allow the player to obtain free items from others could only be described as BUG-like.
As for Acupoint assault, this skill was a little worthless.
First of all, amongst the seven classes in Rebirth, there was never a lack of crowd control skills. Even Pugilists had the sideway kick to knock their enemies airborne.
Of course, airborne effects were cleansable, which made it far inferior to knock up effects, but amongst the other crowd control abilities it was considered a decent one.
Secondly, this skill had to hit the target's acupoint for it to work. Traditional Chinese medicine was fading in the world, how many gamers knew of acupuncture points?
In comparison to other crowd control skills, Acupoint assault was far less useful and was far less powerful than it sounded.
Rightly so, otherwise, Assassins could simply cast Acupoint assault and proceed to kill their target with their assassination skills. That would have been way too overpowered.
After Wang Yu tossed the three skill books into the channel, Lone Vagrant Guest and One Page Book went silent before saying, "Brother Bull, you should pick first…".
One Page Book and Lone Vagrant Guest did not know that the Assassin had left these skill books behind. Wang Yu could have kept all of them for himself if he wanted to, but he was an honest man.

¨Look! There!¨ Simon pointed at the mountain that wasn't too far away from them. The mountain was about the size of an average mountain. The mountain was in the middle of two other mountains and the biggest of the three. The tree mountains almost looked like three claws pointing towards the heavens. They had traveled overnight and luckily there weren't any more problems as Marcos and Lana were much more cautious as well as the beginners. 

On this walk few people spoke trying to kill the silence within the group, however, after everything that they had experienced so far, all they wanted to do was process everything completely. They were physically and mentally tired.

Niko was impressed by the location of the settlement from afar as he believed that Marcos didn't lie. 

As they came closer and closer to the mountain, they entered a forest like a biome which was also rankless. The trees were fairly big and parts of the canopy connected to one another, allowing sunlight to pass through, creating a magical feeling within the forest. Sounds of metal on metal could be heard in the far distance as they approached the mountain. 

The mountain dwarfed them as the settlement stood under it like a god looking down on the world. There was a dirt road that leads towards the settlement and a few people could be seen walking here and there. Some had armor parts while others looked like they were just summoned. These people didn't pay much attention to these beginners as they were focused on their own problems. Many of these people were either dirty or possessed many scars on their faces, showing the beginners that even after entering this place, life was still hard.

Although the settlement was on the foot of a mountain there was still a wooden wall and gate that blocked anything and anyone from entering right at the foot of the mountain. The gate was made out of thick dark brown wood that was as high as a two-story building. The gate was also made out of wood and outside of it were two people who seemed like they were guarding it. 

The two tall male guards wore leather armors and held wooden spears on their hands, as they greeted Marcos and Lana and allowed them to enter. Voices were instantly heard coming from the inside.

¨Trading a small dagger for two blue shards!¨ A woman said as she held out a common looking dagger.

¨I have a nice axe for just five red shards! Come on people, it gives your strength one point!¨ A man who looked tired said.

As they walked past the gate they were welcomed by something they didn't expect. The place was lively and full of people talking and trading. The streets were wide and outside of the sheds and inns were people talking and trading. Everyone in this group of beginners was in awe as they expected a much worse atmosphere filled with death and sadness. It truly looked like a game world. It was almost like these people had accepted this world and they were just trying to live in it.

The word ¨Shard¨ Stuck into Nikos´ mind as it seemed like it was one of the currencies of the world. Many of these people were looking to trade their items mainly for these things. Marcos had told them that there weren't any coins or bills, therefore people traded for useful items. Niko also noticed that there were different colored shards like blue, green and red, which made him wonder what was so important about these shards.

¨Why are there so many people here?¨ Someone in the group of beginners asked.

Marcos smiled and said, ¨This is a common place for people to trade as the inns are also located here and it's also near the safest east gate.¨ 

Looking around Niko quite admired the settlement. The streets were fairly wide as two cars would be able to move on them, and the architecture of the many structures in this settlement gave him a medieval vibe just like in the video games. The houses were made out of stones and wood and the streets changed from a dirt road to a rocky ground.

The many beginners felt slightly safer as they were surrounded by so many humans and buildings, there was a slight feeling of home again, but nothing like how it was.  Marcos told them to follow him as he was going to take them towards the newbie part of the settlement.

After walking past various people and buildings and moving up the mountain closer to the newbie area, the new people asked a few questions about the settlement and their surroundings.

¨Only Chinese players? What happened to the whole human race thing?¨ Simon spoke to Marcos. They had just walked past a group of people who called themselves the Chinese Dragons. From what Marcos told them, they were like a clan, and although Marcos said they weren't officially a clan, they were still recognized by everyone. They formed a huge party and completed missions together. They were also fairly talented as well, however, they only accepted Chinese people into their group, which was interesting.

¨There are many reasons for this, some people just can't let the past go, while others feel better around those they can relate to, I don't know man.¨ Marcos shrugged.

¨Why would they need such a huge group though?¨ Louis added.

Lana was the one who answered this time as she said, ¨Maybe they are going to take on a dungeon, who knows, there have been a few dungeons found lately.¨

¨Dungeons?¨ Niko asked as it peaked his interest.

¨You guys will find out more about that later, were almost at our destination. We are heading to the biggest place in our settlement and it took a while to create something like this. This is only for the beginners, therefore, after today you guys will never return here.¨ Marcos said as he looked forward.

Looking around, Niko realized that the buildings that surrounded them looked like apartments and the people who were around here did not possess as much armor as the people near the gate. On the doors of many of these buildings were numbered, from 100 to 125, there were many of these. 

¨We are here.¨ Lana said spoke as she looked forward.

Everyone else followed her gaze and in front of them was an open wooden gate that led into the mountain. The gate was the height of two people and as wide as five, it looked just like the wood from the gate without any decorations or patterns. These people wondered how they were able to dig with a mountain, but as they thought about the many crazy skills that existed they understood. 

As they entered through the gate they were welcomed by an inside made out of wood and stones. There were wooden pillars here and there along the walls and a few lanterns placed evenly as they walked further into the mountain. 

Marcos stopped, turned and said, ¨This is where I will stop guiding you all. Just keep moving forward and you should approach a desk with a person there, After talking to that person you will all stay in a room and rest for a while and someone should come by to take you from there. Maybe in the future, some of you might survive long enough to partner with me on a mission. Lana who was next to him nodded and they began to walk back. Many people looked at their backs with mixed feelings. Although they met the man a day ago, they held admiration towards the people who saved their lives.

After his sister and ninety-nine thousand random people around the world disappeared in one day three years ago, Niko’s life had always been revolved around finding her. He was facing dead end after dead end, until one day he was summoned to another world along with ninety-nine thousand other people. Putting two and two together, he came to the conclusion that his sister was also summoned to this world two years ago. This world is filled with danger, and evolving is key to surviving. The evolved lived while those unable to adapt perished. With the hope of finding his sister as motivation, he aimed to become strong in this world of magic, monsters, demons, and gods.

The duelling class was held in the biggest training ground in the academy. The ground housed the 200 or so people who decided to sign up for the duelling classes. There were many Elders teaching the class due to the large amount of students opting for it. The class was split into groups and each Elder was in charge of teaching at most 15 students. There were two large duelling fields and a open hit style classroom for each group. You can guess the size of the size of the training ground with this information.

I was assigned to Elder Akash's group which also had Rohit and surprisingly Aryan in it. I was happy to see the familiar faces in my class. They introduced me to the rest of the group. The people in the group all had good magical strengths near the same level. Also everyone except me belonged to 19-24 age group.

In the group of 15, there were only 2 girls and by looking around the training field I found that it was more or less the same in other groups. This was surprising since when I looked around in the morning in the meditation grounds, the ratio of men and women was almost equal. It was no large disparity like this. When I asked about it to one of the girls, she said that most tribes do not allow girls to take up duelling field since it was male dominated and against their tribe's culture. The girls were only encouraged to take up Healing and Potions related fields as it required less physical strain. The Indian society, both mundane and magical was like that, I was informed. 

There were also two non-Indians in my group. Both were from Asian countries near here. One was from Thailand and another was from Singapore. These countries had very small magical population and hence the children in these communities were taught by their parents or relatives in their own homes and only when a child wanted to further pursue his magical studies was he sent here or to one of the Chinese sects. This was preferred since Chinese sects had many restrictions.

Coming to the Duelling class, it focused mainly on the practical side of duelling. We were expected to be ready with our own spells for the duels. Hence despite my late entry I did not have a lot to catch up on. 

The class started with Elder Akash directing us to run a few laps around the huge ground as warm-up. We were joined in the run by the other groups in the training ground. This was followed by a few warm up exercises to avoid unnecessary injuries. Elder Akash then pit the 15 of us against each other in mock duelling battles. Elder Akash observed all of them and when a battle was over, he gave us his views on what a did wrong and what he had to improve on.

To my disappointment and shame, I lost all of my 12 out of my 14 matches. Every one of them except two newcomers like me had more than 2 years of duelling experience and destroyed me very easily in the matches. Everyone had different and unique styles and before I could find ways to defeat them they easily knock me out. Rohit it seemed like was holding back quite a lot in the last duel just so that I had a chance to pass the test. He defeated me in a few minutes in today's match by moving a lot faster than last time and knocking me out. Aryan cast unique and powerful spells that I did not know how to defend against. One of my group mates named Akhil was able to shoot spells out his eyes and caught me off-guard. I was told that it was his tribes speciality and none of the other tribes were able to replicate it. Thankfully even after all the battles, I was not physically hurt and I did not have to get treatment otherwise I would have missed my Healing classes.

Elder Akash called me aside after the mock duels and told me what I lacked was spells that subdued people and the experience duelling otherwise I had both the physical and magical strength required to defeat them. He recommended some books related to non-lethal duelling spells to make up for my lack of spells and then the class resumed. 

The next part of class was dodging. Elder Akash would send small stones at us at high speeds and we had to dodge without using spells. I excelled in this due to my improved eye sight and reaction speeds due to my falcon animagus and faced no problems.

With that today's Duelling classes ended. Tomorrow there will be mock duels again but instead of dodging practice, we will have another practice. I was quite happy with how the class was conducted. The duel defeats brought me back to the reality and taught me that even if I was magically stronger than everyone and knew a lot about magic, I could still be defeated easily by someone weaker than me. It was a good lesson to learn. In real life I could not afford these defeats as it could lead to my death but here I could afford to lose and learn from my mistakes. 

After a short rest and lunch, it was time for my Healing class. I am expecting to face a lot of problems in this class. All the healing knowledge I have learned till now is in English while here it is totally different. The people here have their own spells and their own way of doing things. I will not be able to use my past knowledge here and I will have to learn what is taught here from the ground up. The class may end up as a waste of time for me.

Due to my lack of knowledge on Indian healing practices, I ended up in the beginners Healing class. Thankfully all my classmates belonged to my age group so it was not awkward. Unlike Duelling, my class here had more female members than male and also included a lot of foreigners. Of the 30 students in my class, 10 were foreigners. They were here mostly due to their countries lacked good healers to take care of its magical population.

The class ended up being a lecture. We sat in our seats listening to Elder Yamini talk about various medical things. This was the first time I was seeing a female Elder in the academy. She looked like she was over 60 years old and wore the traditional clothing called saree but unlike the male Elders clothing, her saree was colourful. 

The class was too boring to me. I knew all of the things that she was teaching and I felt it was a waste of time. All the information was same just different names.

I needed to do something about this class since I was sure after the first class that it was going to be a waste of my time. So I met Elder Yamini after class and explained my situation to her. After a few minutes of interoggation she understood my situation and gave me a way out of it. 

She listed out some 10 books to me and told me that I had to memorize all of them in three days. For these three days I was given permission to skip the class but after the deadline was over, I will be required to write a test to check my knowledge and if I pass, she will ask a Master healer to take me as an apprentice. If I fail, I will be kicked out of the class and will not be allowed to attend the class again.

The assignment was quite challenging but I felt it was an easy thing to do so I agreed. After thanking her for giving me such a chance, I left the room and walked towards my next destination. The academy library.

Okay so the Illustration is complete I updated the book cover on royalroad.com scribblehub.com and webnovel.com, I've also updated the synopsis to what is going to be on A m a z o n.
The illustrator delivered the illustration to me around 3 or 4 hours ago., so it was completed fairly recently.
It took me mmmm 7 or 8 tries maybe 9 before I was finally able to get kdp amazon to accept the illustration. I tried 6 or 7 times of those to get it to accept the pdf. In the end, it did not accept the pdf book cover, but I was able to make a workaround and submit the image through the cover creator by uploading the image and delete all text projected over the illustration by the cover creator and wallah only took a 2nd try to get it done after that.
This was for the paperback version mind you, no problems with the ebook on that front. Keep in mind I was just about to go too sleep when the illustrator contacted me and I only recently reverse my schedule back to somewhat normal. It was then that this whole fiasco started.
Now then, the ebook has passed review and is currently publishing which means their setting it up on their sites and apps for amazon, kindle and their various national variations.
The paperback is in review. Both the ebook and paperback should be released around or within 72 hours from what I've been told. I will also get an email when the ebook is published and maybe when the paperback is published not sure.
Next, I noticed when I was reposting the amazon version of the synopsis that the paperback's synopsis was lacking any spaces between sentences which is indeed an issue.
Now I would go ahead and edit the ebook and paperback just so they're more professional, but I tried that, it won't let me edit it right now and the button to do so are greyed out.
That said I do want to edit the synopsis of the two books so they're not a mess but I will have to wait, if they even allow editing of them after they've been published anymore. I know they used too.
I may or may not release another update when they've been published and or edited but for now you seem to have all the information and anymore may just be overbearing.
Also the paperback minimum price was 42 something odd dollars with no royalties, so I raised the price of the paperback to 50 dollars USD so that I can even make a profit off royalties, even with that each purchase of the paperback only gives me 4.25 dollars. The cost of printing is 25 something odd dollars per book, I guess amazon gets the rest and or put it into shipping costs???? Crazy right?

I started to look around the library with observation for skill books or actual books that require manual learning.

Most of the books in the library were, well diverse because, it's a library... 



If I recalled the libraries that exist in real life organize books through the Dewey Decimal System. So how are the books organized in this world? Since obviously fighting books and magic well, should have a different classification right? 



Even if this game did use the Dewey Decimal System, what's the point since I don't even remember the correct order of the books. I started looking around at the books to see if I could get any hints on how the books were organized. 



Although the books are labeled by name and sections, I still have no idea what which section means. It also doesn't help that each section of the library still has a varied selection of books. 



Instead of wasting my time figuring something out, I just walked to section M, since there are huge signs which point to each section. 



The signs are arranged in a circle in the middle is a huge study area with hundreds of desks and chairs surrounded by thousands upon thousands of books. 



I have to say this library is huge, I can't even see the end of section M. 



It would make my search very easy if each lettered section represented how the books were organized. As in, a book starting with M would go into section M.



Well, I don't think life wants me to have it easy since the first book I saw in Section M was Glass making by Kai Doyle. In which nothing in the label corresponded to the letter M. 



Unless?



Glass has 5 letters and his name is 8 letters long, while M is the 13th letter of the alphabet. 



I quickly went to another book to check if my theory is correct. Psychological Manipulation for beginners by Felix Rowland. 



"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...13, 14, Shit." 



I don't think my theory is correct. 



The question is though, what is the correlation between Psychological Manipulation and Glass Making? 



I picked up another book, 10 Worse Fighting Styles Ever Created by, Matthew Malone. 



???



I'm so confused wtf is the correlation or is the library this messy and none of these books are in the right place. Or, is there some secret organizing system among the people of this world that I have yet to find out about. 



"Welp, back to observing every single book in this library."



"Nope, nope, nope, tf is 100 ways to satisfy women in the bed, maybe just a peek...YEP NOPE NOPE, onwards!" 



This is like finding a needle in a haystack, in the middle of this ocean of books, I'll find a good book that will be helpful. 



The only thing is why was my luck so good in the beginning where I was able to receive a legendary skill and a magic skill.

In the remaining 8 or so hours in this game, I've yet to find a good book that would help me in the game.

I didn't have to do anything, besides waiting until the game closed, I just kept on using my observation skill. During these 8 hours, my observation had leveled up to level 10.

Just as I was observing through the library, I had finally caught something interesting.

"Looks like I'm back in real-life." 



I took off the googles and check my clock.



"Exactly 12 hours, not a second more not a second less." 



"At least, I won't oversleep for online schooling anymore, since I'm waking up half an hour before my AM class, Bio and Informatics start." 



The thing that I was most curious about was the new elements that I had learned in-game. Could I transmute them in real life?



In my head, as I was about to transmute something, I noticed a new tab in my head.

I mentally clicked on Foreign Objects, as the basic elements are most likely objects made up of different elements found on Earth.

Most of the Foreign Objects had minimal use and would not help me very much besides the Black Eleven Steel, Holy Mithril, and Eleven Wood. That I had found out about from the Katana and the Beginners Armor.



However, the question is, how can I get the stats of the Katana from in-game?  



I quickly transmuted the Katana from in-game into real life, using a few hundred pounds of gold that I had transmuted in my free time. This would make it so when I'm transmuting large or dense objects, I wouldn't accidentally kill myself by creating a vacuum.  



I've also learned to always keep my window open. 



As soon as I mentally sent the signal my hand glowed purple and the hundreds of pounds of gold disappeared and my room which was filled with air is completely devoid of air. 



I felt my skin start to burn due to the human body being put into a vacuum. My insides were also freezing and I felt the blood flowing through my body begin to backtrack. 



Although the process of transmuting only took roughly 5 seconds, If I was subjected to that pressure for a couple more seconds I would die. 



I felt a huge gust of wind as the air flowed back in my room. 



In my hands was a shiny black katana with a glowing white tang on the handle. 



However, I had no time to admire the katana I had transmuted as I started coughing up blood, due to the blood in my body backtracking. 



I was also sure I sustained some internal injuries due to their being a lack of pressure my frail organs definitely didn't come out unscathed. 



"Shiiiiii-"



I held back my curse as I realized it was still 8 in the morning and I would definitely receive a beating if I cursed out loud. I looked all over my arms and noticed burns all over them.  



I begin to transmute the skin and muscles on my arm back to normal. Since I had learned the atomic composition of simple proteins and skin cells, which definitely helped the process in order to regenerate my surface skin cells. 



As for my internal injuries, I'll have to let them naturally heal, since I have yet to learn in-depth about the human body and don't know what my organs are made out of. 



If I mess up transmuting my skin, it would be ok as it wouldn't be fatal. However, if I messed up while transmuting my internal organs, well then shit, I guess I'm not alive anymore.

An everyday average Joe, through a stroke of luck managed to uncover humanity's lost secret of transmuting. From there onward, he must ward off forces that desire this long lost ability and uncover, more of humanity's lost secrets.

"Uh…no?"
I was staring at Lionel Stuart in disbelief. What the fuck was the middle-aged patriarch trying to play at?
"This is my very own magic…well, not exactly mine, but it belongs to my Green Dragon."
The chibi Green Dragon reappeared and floated above me, growling…cutely. I mean, his current form looked like it belonged to a stuffed animal. Not exactly very convincing or intimidating.
Stuart watched me, fascinated. "Really? Those wood-element spells look very similar to the techniques of my clan. The one you just used…Spring of Hellebore, and the one from earlier…Dance of the Sakura Blossoms, if I'm not mistaken…those are extremely advanced wood techniques of the Stuart Clan. Where did you learn them from?"
"It's just a coincidence, I assure you," I assured him while trying to suppress my irritation. "The element of my Celestial Guardian, Green Dragon, is wood. And so his spells are wood-based. It just happens to resemble your techniques, but I created them myself. By your logic, every wood magician must have learned their spells from the Stuart Clan."
"The issue isn't that you used wood magic. It's that your techniques are extremely similar to the secret sword techniques passed down our clan." This time, Cecilia had joined in, rising from her seat as she explained. Folding her arms, she stared at me intently. "Forgive me, but it's very difficult for Father and me to believe that this close resemblance is merely a coincidence."
I pushed my glasses up my nose as I sighed. "I'm telling the truth. If you don't believe me, then I don't know what to say."
"Where did you learn those techniques from?" Stuart repeated his question firmly. "I must really insist that you tell me."
"I made them up myself," I replied stubbornly. "I don't know anything about the Stuart Clan's wood magic or sword techniques. Not unless either of you admit to teaching me your techniques, but that's impossible, right?"
Father and daughter glanced at each other, and then shook their heads.
"This is the first time we've met," Stuart pointed out.
"Other than that match all those months ago, I have never shown him any of my techniques," Cecilia said as well. "And we never really had a chance to encounter each other. It's not me."
"That's because I didn't learn it from anybody!" I exploded, a vein bulging in my temple. Just how thick were these people? "I just scraped together whatever skills I learned from school, combined it with whatever wood magic I read from books, and used my imagination to create Green Dragon and his wood spells!"
"I hardly think Jing Tian Academy has the staff capable of teaching you such advanced wood magic," Cecilia remarked skeptically.
"What books did you read?" Stuart asked, still not giving up. I paused for a moment, racking my memory.
"Five Clover Mysteries by Woody Allen, The Essence of Wood Element by Elliot Wood, The Hidden Secrets of Forest Magic by Fred Forrester, and Encyclopedia of Hundred Flowers by Cassandra Flowers."
"Ah. I personally know Cassandra." Stuart leaned back in his golden throne, nodding as he looked convinced. "Her book is an excellent one, and is certainly not one meant for beginners. But you've also read Wood's Essence of Wood Element, which is the must-have book on basic wood magic for beginners, so I can't say I'm surprised."
"You can't be saying that you seriously believe him, Father," Cecilia protested hotly. "We need to find out how…"
"Are you saying someone from our family taught him, Cecilia?" Stuart asked. She hesitated for a moment, and then nodded.
"We have to consider that possibility and track down who is leaking our clan's techniques."
"Even if there is, no one is leaking them to me," I snapped in annoyance. "I'm telling the truth. You can cast a truth spell on me if you don't believe me."
Stuart raised a hand. "There is no need to go that far. I will take your word for it. You have no reason to lie. If you meant to keep the identity of your teacher a secret, you wouldn't have displayed it right in front of me and my daughter of all people."
"…that's true," Cecilia conceded reluctantly.
"But I must say…those wood spells are really impressive. It's amazing that you can create such spells that resemble my clan's ancient techniques so closely…techniques that have been secretly passed down my family for generations."
"Bah!" it was Franklin. Apparently, he was agitated that everybody was focusing their attention on me and leaving him in the sidelines. "I hate to interrupt this conversation, but who cares if this lowly commoner has learned some wood magic or not. As long as the winner has yet to be determined, our match isn't over."
"Oh, but it does play a critical role," Stuart corrected him. "If Richard has mastered such advanced wood magic, then he has a much greater claim to becoming my successor. His techniques, while impressive, are still raw and flawed. If I personally teach him the Stuart Clan's sword style, I'm sure he will reach greater heights, especially as a mage."
Franklin seethed in frustration, but I quickly held up both hands.
"I appreciate your sentiment, Lord Stuart, but I am unable to become your successor. I wish to follow in my father's footsteps, and I have my own set of magic I wish to focus on." Green Dragon floated above me, growling silently. "My main theme is constellations, and not wood magic."
"Ah…the ancient Chinese constellations from over millennia ago." Stuart nodded in understanding. "That explains your Green Dragon. And the Vermillion Phoenix and White Tiger you used against my daughter during your match against her."
"Well, are we going to continue the fight or not?" Franklin demanded impatiently. I could see that he was getting desperate.
"Oh, yes. I'm sorry for interrupting the both of you. Please go on." Stuart looked as if he had just only remembered that the two of us were in the middle of a duel.
Franklin bowed in thanks before turning to face me. He grinned. "If all goes well, I'll settle this match with my next attack."
"Then do it instead of…telling me of your intentions?" I asked, confused. What idiot went and told his opponent what he intended to do or how he was going to attack during a match? Was he trying to get himself killed or something?
"I don't need you to tell me that!" Franklin's face darkened in fury. The idiot really talked too much. Rearing his hand back, he began accumulating a large amount of mana into his sword. Waves of mana began washing across the room like tidal waves and surging toward him. "Franklin Ultimate Style: The King's Ultimate Royal Requiem."
He dashed across the room at superhuman speed, thrusting heavily with his sword. White, vicious tongues of energy lanced from his blade, slicing and tearing into everything that was in his path. They headed straight for me, predictably enough.
"Green Dragon," I called out. My chibi Celestial Guardian nodded once, and then transformed into a serpentine strip of green mana that coiled around me and my blade. Raising my sword high, I then completed the casting of yet another new spell. "Ten Thousand Miles of Peach Blossoms."
Suddenly, the air was saturated with pink fruits. The green and brown mana coalesced into rows of peach trees that stood on either side of me. Peach blossoms began drifting away from the branches, filling the air with a sweet scent. The white tongues of energy were sucked into the burgeoning peach blossoms, which swelled at a terrifying rate.
The expanding peach blossoms then drifted toward a stunned Franklin. Try as he might, there was no way he could escape from tens of thousands of peach blossoms that surrounded him on all sides. I caught one last glimpse of his terrified face before the vibrant sea of peach blossoms engulfed both his vicious tongues of energy and their owner like a tidal wave, greedily swallowing them up.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"
KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Franklin's scream tore across the room as he unleashed every ounce of mana he had in him in order to break free from the sea of peach blossoms. The myriad of pink flowers and fruits were blasted apart and withered away as the force of the explosion ripped them apart.
"Damn." I sighed in disappointment. "That Ten Thousand Miles of Peach Blossoms didn't even reach a tenth of its original strength. If I could just use its full power, then he would never be able to overload them like that."
A loud, splitting sound drew my attention to my sword. A huge chunk of metal had just fallen from the blade. Chipped and cracked everywhere, it seemed that my sword wouldn't be able to withstand another spell. Despite my caution and apprehension, I was still unable to prevent the poor weapon from falling apart.
"That was an interesting attack."
Franklin stumbled out of the smoke and fell to his knees. Thrusting his half-broken sword into the ground, he leaned on it to prevent himself from collapsing. His entire body was red and bloody, with numerous cuts and bruises lining his face and arms. Even his suit was not spared, huge gouges and rips prevalent over the expensive fabric. I doubted that any professional tailor would ever be able to mend it. Despite his beleaguered state, Franklin continued to taunt me defiantly.
"But is that all you've got?"
Ignoring him, I tossed my ruined sword to the side. It struck the polished, marble floor of the arena and bounced off several times before finally laying still.
"What is the meaning of this?" Franklin spat breathlessly. Panting, he struggled to his feet and pointed his blade at me. "Don't tell me you're giving up? So…you're admitting defeat, aren't you?"
Wow…this guy was truly delusional, wasn't he? I shook my head and watched in amusement as he sank back to his knees, unable to remain standing for even a few seconds.
"Really? Is that what this situation looks like to you?" I tried my best not to laugh. "I'm the one standing while you're the one on your knees. And you're in a much worse condition than I am. So which of us do you think will win if this fight goes on?"
Franklin gnashed his teeth in fury and frustration. "You've discarded your weapon. Isn't that as good as saying you're giving up? Even if you claim that you're not giving up, then what the hell are you going to fight with now?"
I raised both my hands in the air and grinned.
"My bare hands will be more than enough to deal with the likes of you," I replied as I slowly strolled toward him, keeping my hands raised. "Noble."
"Why, you…! Know your place, scum!" Franklin yelled. With a sudden explosive burst of strength, he jumped to his feet and lunged at me with his sword.

Story confirmed dropped. I have been instructed to discontinue the story because 1. it's no longer profitable, and nobody is reading the story or unlocking the premium chapters. 2. Ranking has been consistently below 2,000, and I will be penalized for underpeforming. 3. Apparently I have antagonized the readers and they have petitioned for this story to be deleted. 4. Poor rating of only 2.1, with the story only receiving negative reviews - meaning there is not a single positive thing about it.

I went to the road just like the guild master told me to. The reason I want to go to the library because before starting the game I want to have a complete knowledge about this games world. And because of  that, I have to study the books of this world as known as "The Beginners Guide".
It was stated in the games catalog that the beginners guide can be found in the libraries of each realm.

After entering the library I found an old man sleeping on the couch residing there. He suddenly woke up, must be because of my footsteps.
" Hello young man, How can I help you?" he asked me.
" Well, I was looking for the books about this world. Where can I find those?"
" You can go upstairs. You will find everything you need right there."
"Oh Thanks geezer"
" May I ask why do you seek the knowledge of this world?"
" Well I have become an adventurer just a while ago. So before sailing for any journey I want to know what I am up against perhaps."

The library was like a maze. I was lost for a while when I was finding the stairs for going to the 2nd floor. They could have used some signs -_-
After looking for a while I found some books about this world. I  picked on book titled ' The Chronicle Of Realmville '. The book seemed locked. While trying to open it, I saw a pop-up
                                           " PLACE YOUR HAND ON THE BOOK " 
I did as it stated.
                           " VERIFICATION CONFIRMED, PLAYER MODE ACTIVATED"

I guess the books are also varied by players and npcs. Because, for a player this books are beginners guide but for the NPC's these are historical books. Nice idea by the developers.

I checked the table of contents. It was divided by some various sections. First I checked the 'Player Guide". The was obviously the job classifications and the attacks list every classes and sub classes  could use. It was stated that every class except could use magics but how much they could use will depend on their class and aura. I do know about the classes and subclasses. There are 7 aura types in this game. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, White, Purple. Each aura type has its own natural magical attribute the players can use. Which are respectively, Fire, Water, Earth, Thunder, Wind and Beast.
I know Im one aura and attribute short. Its Dark aura. There are no details about this aura and it seems like this aura doesn't have any attribute or anything. The game didn't planned anything for this yet I guess.
Oh yes! There are some more stuffs written here. The amount of magic a player can use could be find from their aura color. If a players aura color is light, then that player would be able to use less magic on the other hand, the player with the darker aura color would be able to use more magic.

Personally, I like the blue color most. So I want the blue aura and obviously the darker one. But I also like the fire attribute.  I can't actually set my mind on a aura or attribute lol.
Well, lets see what fate has for me. We will see it in the next weeks Job Selection Ceremony.

There was this creature level and list as well. There are 5 creature level. They are classified according to their strength and power. Those can be low, medium, high, legendary and god.
Except the God level creature, the rest of the level can be found in the forests or in the dungeons.
Dungeons are the place where various types of loots could be found which could be sell or use. The higher the dungeon level the higher the loot rate is. Every once in a while, The God Level creature will spawn in a temporary dungeon for a certain time. Not to mention, the loot rate is sky catching as well. The system will give some sort of signal when it spawns like a massive thunder strike and every player will get the notification and the location of the spawn. Players who will get to clear that dungeon will get reward from the system as well and that reward could be convert into real world currencies as well.

Well, thats something pretty amazing. Like the game is literally paying you to play the game clear a dungeon, which means the dungeon isn't obviously a child's play.
There are something more written here. If a player fails to clear the dungeon and dies in the process, he or she will have his account progress deleted and will have to start over the game again.
Wait, what? Are you kidding me? Are you literally kidding me??!!! The developers can't be serious are they? 
DAMNN!! Thats too much rough and harsh. Like the players efforts and time will be whoosh into nothingness. These dungeons must be something!

After looking through the beginners guide for a while I decided to leave the game for now.
I have now gathered the knowledge I needed before starting the game. Now from tomorrow I will start the game by a full on strategy. 
WHOA! I sound too much serious about this game ! Thats not obvious. Its the first time I have ever been so excited about a game. Not a visible enthusiasm but a hidden one, an excitement burning with a cold flame. I longed for something different to happen, something so exciting and new that it will carry me along with it like a great tide, something that lets your life blaze and burn so the whole world can see it.

After logging out from the game, I felt dizziness. I guess It was because of diving into the VR for long for the first time. I checked the clock, it was 4 am. I should get a good sleep now. I opened my phone and was checking the 'Heir Of Legend Online Forum' and fell asleep the moment I laid my body on the bed.
