Children of Mayhem is a completely different story of Gods, Goddess, and their children. The book taking inspiration from all known God inspired religion books and creating a new and fascinating tale.


Children of Mayhem is about twelve children named after each month, being born from a woman name Tabitha, the guider of the seasons. These twelve children were granted magical gifts and powers, making there family rather odd and peculiar. 

August is one of the youngest of the children, living life as any regular teenage human would, little does he know though, is that soon Gods will make moves that plan on ruining his average life, making him discover his true blood and identity.

Note that I am only telling the story from my grandfather's side of the story. Therefore, you need to consider that history is only interpretated by a human, that means that it is not the whole story. So is the story of grandpa Cho's interpretation that may not be the whole story. 

This happened 50 years ago when my grandparents are still alive and young. They were born and raised in South Korea. The whole fucking conflict started mainly between the heads of the families. That is my grandfather Cho and Yun-hee's grandfather Joon. As you know, the South Korea in the 1960s was called the "Asian Tiger" in the economic growth and development. Our families were one of the most important figures in the economic growth of South Korea. They tried to compete with each other to see who really is the more powerful family. After years and years of building up businesses, left and right, no matter what kind of business it is, the two family can't seem to outrun each other. Joon explained that he's angry that my father had a son on some other woman. The son was me, you can call me, fucking bastard. He said that his daughter was broken hearted, and disapeared without a trace, and it was all my father's fault. They said that my father committed suicide. What a stupid father he is. 

Grandpa Cho invited Joon to a one last "Socratic" conversation. I don't what exactly that they talked about, but they were competing when they are not supposed to. All of that hours, but no one yielded ror won. It was never settled. Then the boastful fuckers in my family tried to end it themselves by also doing the same thing, but no one succeeded. If one had lost, another one wins the next, it is just a fucking "covering hole after hole" thing for both families. Both of the heads of the families never bothered to stop this. My grandparents ran a library near the mansion, and raised me there. but made me visit those fuckers every week, and most of the time they make me stay there for a week, but there are also books there, so I wasn't totally wasting my time. 

Then it came to a point that the children in both families were trained hard in improving their intelligence, and I was one of them. Then all of it as I saw, were just ways for the parents to show grandfather so that one of their children will be chosen as a successor. I was always there when they participated in the Debate, but I was never been allowed to represent. There was one time that we were all loosing to the number one of the Yangs. They had no choice, but to send their last shot. That was me. Looking at their faces, they were all stained with hate, maybe that is the reason why I stopped reading faces, because what I always see and expect, is hate. Those fuckers looked like they already lost, because the debaters are arranged from the best to the worst. The last person on that "team" is the worst, and I was the last one. I easily beat that number one asshole of the Yangs, and the other assholes came after him until I won. I came down the stage, but still, they had that stain of hatred in their faces. There were no celebration for the victory. 

I was called by the Yangs as the pinnacle of the Hyuns, because I was too gifted, but those stupid fuckers treated me like I am not one of their own, because I'm just a bastard. They were so ashamed of me, so that is the reason why I wasn't sent to school. They also decided not to bring me into any Debate again. And that is why I call them fuckers. I later found out in the books that a child must interact with other people to live normally. Later Tyrion took her to a nearby inn and fed her, they drank wine and talked, and soon they were making love. Tysha gave her maidenhead to Tyrion, afterward they kissed him and sang "The Seasons of My Love", Tyrion truly fell in love with her and got married to her by a drunken Septon with pigs as witnesses. 

Afterward, they happily lived in a cottage by the sunset sea in Lannisport. But then Jamie told Tyrion that the girl was a whor*, hired to make a man out of him. The house was white and looked to be two stories high. The lawn is cut and has a shine to it.
Our neighbors' houses also looked beautiful. Each house had a fresh cut lawn and a white coloring to it.
My mother carries me into the building. Once inside, she takes off her shoes and changes into slippers.
I was half expecting a Butler inside, but there isn't anyone else in the house. Darn, I thought we were filthy wealthy nobles.

A year has passed since my birthing to this new world. Nothing excited happened since then due to me being a baby.
In that year, I discovered that my mother's name is Nii Michiko, and my father's name is Nii Kaichi.
We live in a peaceful neighborhood. It seems like my parents are relatively popular with them too. Periodically, my parents would show me off to the neighbors. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it.
Today is like no other. I'm sitting on the rug with my mother at my side.
"Kaichi... It's been a year since he was born but... He hasn't made any noise since!"
"I know Michiko... I don't know what to do..."
'Because I don't want to talk!'
Why would I speak if I didn't want to? Well, better start before they get suspicious.
"Mama... Dada..."
"Look, Kaichi! He spoke! He said, Mama and dada!"
"I know! I saw it with my own eyes!"
I looked at my parents with an annoyed expression as they talk.
'I know I'm a baby and all, but this is still embarrassing and annoying.'
"Oh! Do you think he'll start to crawl or walk today too?"

I start to crawl in a random direction, then I tried to stand up, but fell to my butt.

After a couple of attempts later, I finally succeeded in standing up. Then, I tried to walk forward.
I was wobbling the whole time, but I succeeded in walking. My parents started gawking again.
After that day, nothing new or excited happened. Four years pass in a blink of an eye. 
I'm now five years old. In the past four years, I mastered talking, walking, eating, and most child's behaviors. My parents gave me a lot of toys, but the only thing that interested me was books.
Luckily, the language in this world is the same as my old, which explained how I could understand them at birth. I could even understand this world's writings.
Sadly though, all the books my parents got me were children's books, which were mostly pictured books. 
Currently, I'm outside with my father. In this world, magic exists. Its concepts are relatively complicated. Magic and skills use a point system that requires Exp to level up.
It is similar to the games I played in my old world. I got excited when I heard about this, which brings me here. Since we were alone, I decided to ask my father about the system.
"You want to know about the system? Well, we're not completely sure ourselves. Neither your mother nor I are scientists in the field. All we know is that you can use Exp, which you get from your experiences to gain and level up skills. These skills can allow you to run faster, fly, punch hard, etc."
"Interesting..."
"It is, isn't it?"
"Yeah! Oh, does that mean I could get skills right now?!"
"You could, yes; however, we have locked your ability right now. You'll be able to access yours when your around twelve. We want to make sure you get skills smartly rather than all willy billy."
"Oh, okay..."
I was a little down at this fact. I could fly or go supersonic, but I had to wait seven years before I can. 
"Don't worry, son. Your smart, but we want to make sure you don't make any dumb choices. You should get and level up the skills you need for your future job. This is pretty normal, you know? One thing different, though, is that you'll have more Exp than the average."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"Well... The system in place gives parents the authority to add skills to their children for the first 250 Exp. We didn't do this; therefore, you'll get 250 Exp more than normal..."
"Oh, okay."
That kind of makes sense; however, something tells me that he isn't telling me the full story. I tried to ignore this sensation.
"Oh! You'll also get even more Exp too!"
"Huh?"
"I was going to tell you when you were twelve, but I'll tell you now. I'm going to transfer my Exp to you! I have about 49,000 Exp stored up. When you turn twelve, I'll have around 50,000, so you should be able to get anything you want."
This excited me.
"Wait!?"
He's going to give me 50,000 Exp?! I could level up anything then! I still got to wait till twelve, huh. While I wait, I could try to learn how it works so I can use that 50,000 Exp properly.
"Thanks, dad! By the way, can you get me a book about how the skills thingy works?"
"Huh? I could, yeah. Sadly, there aren't any pictures in it so that it might be too hard for you, but I'll gift you it anyways."
"Really! Thanks, dad!"

On his way to the city, a plane crashes onto him, which kills him. He awakes into a dark room with white text. The text tells him that he dies and that he will be reincarnated into another world. Then the text tells him that he will get a set number of wishes based on his past life, which he gets only one. Sho's wish was to keep all of his memories from his past life. He awakes back as a baby named Nii Sho. After a few years, he discovers that magic and skills work as those in his games he played; they're based on a point system. He also discovers that he has points more significant than the average person and that his father transfers his points onto him. What will he do with these points? How strong will he get?

Today I have tailoring and alchemy. They both aren´t in my class, they´re in specially made buildings. 

I stepped inside the room of our tailor class and found it packed with half-finished clothing, fabrics, wool even silk. And between all this were around 17 woman and 2 guys. 

"Morning." I greeted them and they turned around to me, looking at me, almost staring. 
"Is something?" I asked. 

"Where did you bought your dress?" One of them asked. 

I wear a green dress with black lines on it, which seem to dance. 

"I made it myself." I said and got looks of envy and respect. 

Is it so good? I was bored and thought I shouldn´t wear my black or white dress every day. 

I searched for a chair and waited for the teacher, who came 15 minutes too late. 


"Sorry, I was delayed by a college, she told me a story about a girl with a really well made black dress." Said a little pudgy looking woman. 

She looked over the class and stopped her gaze over me. 

"You!" She said. 

"I?" I replied. 

"You match he description, and your dress looks like it was made by a master tailor. Do you own a black dress with a red pattern on it?" She asked. 

"I do." Me 

"Who made them?" She 

"I myself." Me 

"Really? Then you´re better than me." She said and squinted her eyes. 
"Well my name is Mrs. Tifany, your teacher in tailoring and we´re going to make some fine clothes this year. The theater class asked me to make some costumes for them and our goal is it to give them the best we can do." Mrs. Tifany 

Everyone nodded and Mrs. Tifany asked each one of us if we had knowledge about tailoring, 
it seems that all of us have at least a little bit and most of us were on LV 2. 
Mrs. Tifany is on LV 5 she said. 

She gave us some fabrics and we had to make something we want, she wants to see the extent of our skill. 


I asked her. 
"Mrs. Tofay? Is there a guild or something like this where I could sell inventions of new?" 

"There is but it´s hard to get a good price if you don´t have some connections. I know one of the higher-ups, you can show me your new thing and I´ll see if I can manage something." She said. 

"Then could you please come with me to a dressing cabin?" I asked. 

"You have it here? What kind of dress is it?" She asked and showed me the way. 

"It´s something for the breasts." I said and took a bra in her size out of the inventory. 

She looked at it and said. 

"This looks well made, how do you wear it?" 

"Please undress your top and I´ll show you." I said and she did. 

I helped her putting it on, without fondling, I´m not into a saggy and chubby woman. 

"How do you like it?" I asked. 

"It fits well but what does it do?" She 

"It stabilizes your breasts, it also stops the nipple from rubbing against the fabric. It can make them looking larger and brings them into form." I explained. 

"This is wonderful and they also look good, this is indeed a good invention." She 

"And I don´t think I should make it public without a patent," I said. 

"Yes, you could make a lot of money with it. I say you what, I´ll speak with my friend and we´ll arrange something. But I want some compensation." She said. 

"How much?" Me 

"Oh no money, I already saw that you're better than me, so I want you to teach me how to improve. You´ll never learn out and have to know when someone is better than you." She said and got some respect from me for that. 

"Okay, I can do that." I said and we shook hands. 

The rest of the lesson I explained her the manufacturing process of my bra. 


I ate and left for my next lesson, it´s alchemy in which I don´t know what I should expect. 
I was so so in chemistry and I don´t know if this alchemy here is the art of mixing potions or if it is the equivalent of science to my world. 

The teacher was a grumpy looking man named Mr. Loris who said that we won´t mix any potions unless we´ve read and memorized a whole book with more than 1000 pages all of them about plants. 

Seems like it is about potions.I would never to this in my old world but here it only took me a few minutes. 

I didn´t need much time for the whole buck but thought. 

I have to be careful, I heard that you can get insane with so much knowledge. But then when wasn´t I already insane? 


I walked up to Mr. Loris and asked. 

"Mr. Loris?" 

"Yeah? Your name´s Clair ain´t it? I´ve heard of you. Don´t say it, you want to make potions because you know all of the described plants in the book I gave you, am I right?" He said and I nodded. 

I think the teacher talk about their students, that could mean that this art teacher might come. 

"Good then here are some questions, for what do you use Hulweed, where does Galikaroot grow and what happens if you eat Curalipetals raw?" He asked. 

"Hulweed is used for sedatives and could paralyze in extremely high doses, it´s often used by field doctors because it´s relatively easy to find and easy to handle. You just have to ground it and smear it on the wound for an effect. 

Galikaroot grows in caves, it´s hard to get because it grows in the feces of the Galika monster which is ranked A on the monster ranking list. 

And you´ll die if you eat Curalipetals raw, it dissolves your stomach and you´ll die by internal bleeding's. But if you boil it beforehand it´s a good stomach medicine. " I said. 

"Yep you´re the Clair they talk about, good, then I´ll talk with the headmaster," He said. 

"Why? I only want to make potions." Me 

"Because you only start with potions in the second year, so I have to ask him if you could skip this year. He´ll probably summon you in the next week." He said and gave me 3 other books. 

"These are the books up to the fourth year, you normally learn them while you work on the plants from the year before but you´re a little different. 
I expect good results from you, the years with you here might become interesting. " He said and motioned me to go. 

I read them and were astonished by the vegetal knowledge of this world. There are thousands of plants for medical and alchemical usages. 


The day went on and I walked to the orphanage after my lessons. 

I was greeted by some children who brought me to Hira. 

"Hira, miss Clair is here. " They shouted. 

We went inside and I saw Hira with Alina sitting on a table, talking. 

"Hi, what´s the topic?" I greeted them. 

"Miss Clair nice to see you, I talked with Hira about the things we need to buy, let me thank you again for your generosity." Alina said and bowed deeply. 

"There´s no need for that. And what do you want to buy?" Me 

"We thought about hiring some carpenters, who can fix our roof and fence," Hira said. 

"You don´t have to, I can make that." Me 

"We couldn´t allow such a lady as you to make your hands dirty by repairing our roof." Alina. 

"I would use magic for that." Me 

"You could do such a thing? I heard that magic is mostly for specific usage." Alina asked. 

"I´m a little special, show me the broken parts and I´ll repair it or should we make a whole new building?" I asked. 

""A whole building?"" Alina and Hira 

"Why not? It would look better and doesn´t need as much renovation as this building." Me 

"Are you sure you can do that?" Alina asked worriedly. 

"I think, what do you like more wood or stone?" Me 

"Äh...ehm stone would be best. But let me first get all the things out, the children have to help." Alina said and we brought everything we could use outside. 


It took us not much time to get the things outside because I said that we´ll buy new furniture. They only took a lot of blankets and personal stuff out. Now we´re standing in front of the old building. And I began. 

I imagined a large house out of stone in my head, it should be three floors high, it has to have a basement for the food and other things, a giant room for eating on the ground floor, with a kitchen and a large bath. Then for the first floor a large living room, where they´ll have many toys and a working room. The two upper floors are for the children and staff. Ten rooms each floor, with enough space for two children in every room. And single rooms for the staff. 

This should be enough. 1 million mana, pretty much. 

I willed the building to vanish into nothingness and raised the new one out of the ground. It has no furniture, but we will buy it later. 

The ground quaked and the children as well as Hira and Alina were making large eyes. 
I turned around and said. 

"Now we´ll need furniture, please describe the things you´d like to have." 

But the children needed a few minutes to come over their shock. 

"You can go inside, I´ll be on the ground floor with Alina and Hira, the first floor will be a playground and the second and third floor is for you to life. There are no beds and other furniture, but I´ll make them later. Please choose a roommate and then come down to me." I said and pulled the still stunned Hira and Alina inside. 


"Th...this is... breathtaking," Alina said. 

And for normal people it would surely be, the walls were out off polished stone, the floor is made of dark brown wood, and everything looks extremely pretty. 

I began to produce the furniture, a giant table with chairs around it, tableware, and some other furniture. 
The next thing was the furniture for the first floor. I made a giant fluffy carpet and some toys out made of wood. Blocks and such things, a rocking horse and a small fort. Specific things like dolls will come later and will be handmade. 


The first children came to me and I started to make beds with real mattresses. They didn´t know them but were delighted when they lay down. Some closets and desks and I were finished. I was in Hiras room as a child came inside and said. 

"Miss Clair, there are guards who want to know what happened." 

So I went down and saw ten guards and a few onlookers. 

The guard noticed us and asked me politely, probably because I look like a noble. 

"Hello miss, we heard some noises and saw this building sprouting out of the ground, may we know how this happened the reason" 

"Sure, I am the new supporter of this orphanage and thought I should renovate it, so I used magic and build a new one." Me 

"You surely jest, miss, this is far beyond any magic," He said and gestured at the building. 

"Oh, I´m not lying, I can show it. I wanted to make a new fence and some stone statues." I said and waited for a reply. The guard deliberated with his comrades and finally said. 

"Very well, you may demonstrate your magic." 

I destroyed the old fence and a new 5-meter high fence out of stone rose from the ground, an entrance with a metal gate, with two lion statues made of stone in front of it was behind me. 

The onlookers and guards all had an open mouth. 

Is there a title for making people do this? 

"You see, nothing to worry," I said. 

"Yes indeed, it was magic... I´ll give you a warning, this district is dangerous and such a building will get attention from thieves. You should employ guards. Now then, have a nice day." The guard said and left. 

We went back inside and finished with the furniture. And I was suddenly hugged by Alina who began to cry. She remained in this position and finally said after she wet my dress. 

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, I thought I have to close this orphanage, which raised me and then you came and made all this wondrous things in just two days. Say is there anything I could help you with? I would do everything." 

"Hm, I plan to buy a slave I meet a few weeks ago when I do that could she live here for the time I need to buy us a house?" Me 

"A slave?" Hira said. 

"Ah yes, she is an elf and I met her in an inn. I healed her scars but forget that she now might be sold, so I thought I should buy her this weekend." Me 

"Off course she can, you´re really generous," Alina said. 

"Not really, I do most of the things I do on a whim." I replied, but they said that they do not agree with me in this case. 

"Hira, I´m sorry, but we have to begin your tailor lessons tomorrow, I need to enchant the statues, so that they´ll protect this place. " Me 

"You can even do that?" Hira. 

"Yes I did it with your old desk, I tried to enchant it with the maximum of enchantments I could muster. It worked well but now each demon who goes in your old house will die by laser attackers." I said nonchalantly. 

"What?" Hira asked, but I ignored her and walked to the lions. 


The enchantments were as followed. 

One for making them into golems, then strength, agility, durability boosts, resistance for physical and magical attacks, a friend-foe recognition, as well as an enchantment for an artificial intelligence that could discern between both. And last but not least an enchantment for extra mana capacity and enough mana to stay in use for a couple of hundred years(500 million). 

I finished my work, went back inside and said my goodbye. 


I went to my dorm, ate with Kira and Lina, who talked about their day and went to sleep. 


The next morning was normal, waking Kira and Lina, then breakfast, a quick shower, and school. 

Today are the last two lessons for this week and I´ll visit Ilza after teaching Hira. 
I have forging and monster theology today. 

Monster theology was first. 

The lesson started with our teacher who brought a stuffed wolf. 

He´s called Mr. Wafhunt an old man and he was a hunter who earned his money with hunting exotic animals, now he´s teaching his knowledge for the future generation. At least that´s what he said. 

We got a monster encyclopedia and our instructions are mostly theoretical, we also got more books. But we´ll go on an excursion after the school tournament. So we have to train. 

There´s nothing extraordinary to mention, I produced a little ruckus as I slept during his lesson and he tried to embarrass me with questions, which I could answer because I already knew the content of his book. This in return caused him to ask more questions until the lesson finished. 


I ate and went to my forging lesson. 

The forge was a giant hall with many furnaces and all of my fellow students are muscle packed men. 

I recently know why woman is so annoyed with the stares of men, they don´t stop. 
And because I speak from experience, I also know their thoughts. 
But I have the opinion that these stares are a kind of compliment so it wasn´t that hard, that and because I could kill all of them with a thought if they would try something. 

There was this guy who tried to touch my ass during lunch break, let´s say he won´t touch someone for a long time without thinking twice. 

But back to the topic, the teacher came and said I could leave as thin as I am but I "convinced" him by lifting an anvil with one hand. 

He then lectured us about ores but I didn´t listen as I already knew them. He noticed that and asked me why I was so absent and I replied that my dad´s a blacksmith and I am his apprentice. He asked me a few questions but stopped after the third one realizing that I speak the truth. 

He said that we´re allowed to use the forge whenever we want, but we have to bring our own ores and tools. 

We also got a book about forging while embedding mana into your sword. 
It says that it´s a technique for master blacksmiths and could produce with an extra enchantment a sentient sword. I´ll have to try it later, I need to try if I could make a sentient sword which can change its form. 

Well, that´s about forging. I went back to my room, left a note that I´ll be out for the weekend and visited Hira. 

She said that there were some thugs who tried to break in, but they were swiftly killed by my statutes. 
But they had to clean the mess. So I made another enchantment on them which allowed them to use simple water magic. Now they should be able to clean it on their own. 

I thought Hira simple stitching and sewing and left her a large pile of fabrics for practice. 
I also made dinner for all and it was greedily eaten. 

It was night and I changed into my Dex form with wings and started to fly to Ilza, hoping that she´s alright.....
