My world went black as my VR set logged me out and shut down.

I thought to myself I should of charged my set while I was reading the booklet. Oh well, 4 hours sure went by really fast. I plugged in my set and went out looking for food. I saw what looked like a feast being laid out on the table.

"Oh good I timed it right. The other children will be here shortly. This is to celebrate you winning the lottery and getting a VR head set. You will have 2 years to save up before you get your own place. Now my child please wash up and come have a seat. You are the guest of honor after all." Said Sister Amy.

I looked at her with suspicion but went and washed my hands for dinner. I kept wondering to myself what was her plan. We almost never have a feast like dinner unless someone high up from the church came to our orphanage but now there is a true feast for me. I wonder what is going on and what the plan is going to be for this meal. A full turkey and ham, green bean casserole, cut up fruit salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, fresh rolls, Milk, 2 different juices and a small but fancy cake. We are usually lucky just to get ham sandwiches during the holidays. Thinking about my welcome package I got for my welcome birthday gift I wondered if I should just go out and get something to eat by myself and skip this meal here. I know she is going to want something big with all of this food. It costs at least 4 gold coins which would take a couple months for the lowest of roles in the game to earn.

"Thank you Sister Amy for this lovely meal. I am honored that you would do this for me."

I walked over to my usual place and sat down next to the one friend that I had here.

"Hello, Sam!" I said with honest happiness. "How have you been? I haven't seen you around much."

Sam is 17, short dark blonde hair, hazel eyes, 6foot 2inches, skinny but muscular from his days working on a farm. He is one of the hottest males in our city and spends most of his days either working, turning down offers for relationships and helping out people who have less. That man could have anyone that he wants but he hangs around with me whenever he has the time to. He is my best friend since we were kids.

"Yo, I have been busy working with harvest season right around the corner. A lot of tools that need sharpened and repaired. So how's the birthday girl doing today? You are the talk of the town right now. Oh and I managed to get you a present with some of my money I made." replied Sam.

"You didnt need to get me something. I know how expensive things are and how little you are paid for all your hard work. So how many did you have to turn down today?"

"Only one officially, also I get you a gift every year whether I make it for you or buy it now that I am working. You are special to me. Where else am i going to find a stubborn, kind, Black haired beauty with exotic color changing eyes, that is short enough to rest my arm on and can battle me in wits? The answer is nowhere."

"You just called me short, I am 5foot 6inches. I am not short for my age. You are sweet for the rest though and I know I can be stubborn its part of my charm."

"Children please sit and be quiet so we can say Grace to thank god for the ability to have and eat this food." Said Sister Amy.

Silence descended over the table as we said Grace.

"So my child, first off let me tell you happy birthday and congratulations on winning the lottery. You got it at the age where people have to find work so it came at the perfect moment. God blessed you with an answer we have been looking for this past year. I have been trying to find you work but to no avail. Now I see why I have not managed to find you work, god prevented it. So have you set up your avatar yet? Have you chosen your name? What about your role in the game?"

"Thank you for the birthday wishes. I have set up my avatar, I will be known out here by the people who know me by my actual name of course but in the market and game I am called Shi. No last name has been decided yet and as for my role I just got to the beginning town so I will have a few days to get used to things before the game assigns me my role. I did meet my guide for the game and pick my welcome package. No idea just yet what is inside as I had to charge up my VR set." I replied.

Sam smiled and said "So tell us about your avatar... What race did you pick? Coloring? Etc. I want to know everything. Did you get your rumored birthday package by doing all the set up VR stuff? Come on sweet Marie you have to give us all more information then you have. Also what is up with your name She or is it spelled weird? Also why call your female character just she?

"Marie so that is her name. Thank you Sam for saying it so I now can remember it since she will be something now. I have 2 years to profit as much as I can off this child before she can leave my orphanage and need to play this right." Thought Sister Amy.


"Well I know you wont approve but I went with the Dragonkin race. My colors are black and crystal. I know my avatar is solid black and shines just like that black stuff we used to see on the roads that the sun would shine on and make it look like a rainbow. I think it was called oil. I wasn't intending to go with those colors but it just called to me so I went with my gut feeling. As for the crystal part I have no idea at all where that will come into play other then that is my enraged color whatever that actually means I haven't a clue yet. As for my name it was an accident in our speech vs what the game is used to. I said she as in S H E meaning female and it took me for saying S H I instead so I ended up named that. I am so upset about that but I cant change my name ever so I am stuck with it."

"Wait a sec!!! Doesn't S H I mean Death in an Asian language? Why would you choose that name since  you are so sweet? Couldn't you at least change the spelling to not be so dark? Also why black? You look better in so many more colors. Dragonkin, why pick that race? Its so eww and expensive just to be it. You hate reptiles yet you are now one forever in the game. Hmmm I dont know if this is still my best friend sitting next to me or not now. So much is just wrong from the difference in game and out of game." Said Sam.

"Yeah I know but the race just called to me and I went with my gut completely both in color and race. I do hate reptiles with a passion but I dont know how to describe it. I looked at the race and didnt even realize that I walked over and was touching it. The wow factor was just that high. I looked deep inside me foe my coloring and that was the only set of colors that just felt right. Its an old and almost never seen color combination too. No idea what exactly that means but I do know it's odd as the NPCs gave me a warning about choosing it. Now as for the name yea it means Death but I cant do anything about it now. I am still the same person you know Sam."

They had a ton of more questions but I couldn't really answer them just yet. So I ate in silence and listened to the little ones talk about their dreams for if they win a VR set.

"My dear child, have you thought about who you might want as your staff now that you have a VR system? We have a lot of good kids here who can be taught and trained to exactly what you need them to be and do for you."

Ahh now I am starting to know what she is wanting from me and why we had this huge dinner. She wants me to feel pressured into choosing an orphan or two so they can start making money and helping support the orphanage since they are too young to actually work a job. Their earnings would go into the Orphanges bank due to their age. Now it's making sense.

"No sorry, I don't even know my role and what I could possibly make a month so it's too soon to think about that sort of stuff."

We finished our dinner and I excused myself as I was planning to do a bit of research about the game and my race and then go to bed so i have all the time in the world tomorrow to play.

The removal of the television  had made the children focus more on their studies by the help of their mom. Because they have more time, Kenna  can do more of the self defense tricks she had seen on t.v. The tricks she had seen on t.v. had clearly inculcate in her mind even without the television she invisioned herself doing the act.She imitate the karate  tricks daily she had no idea in her young mind if she's doing it correctly or perfectly , but she's growing stronger everyday and she loved the feeling, the sweat that comes out of her body makes her feel good,she's full of life and energy as though living in the underground basement all her life has no effect on her unlike all of her siblings that they were so weak,sickly and very pale in coloring,, Kenna and Marko had become the sparring partner in their karate match in a form of play. Luckily they were not seriously injured in their play of  back jump kick, flying side kick, as well as with the use of their fist,elbows,knees and tumbling,except for some bruises or ankle pains that naturally gone after a few days. They enjoy what their doing while their mom allow them to do what they want as long as when its time for their dad to come,time also to stop their play.. 
           " Mom, why is it dad always go up the stairs and we are not allowed to go up there?",  she asked her mom.
           " Because dad had to go to work so he will have money to buy our foods and clothes", Noanna answered.
           " Mom, can we go up there too?", Kenna ask.
           " Sorry but no! we can't!, dad will be very angry", her mom said. Noanna know what will be the answer if she ask her dad, she had been kept hidden in this underground basement of their house thirten years ago, when she become pregnant with her daughter  
Ninna. Yes, her own dad is the father of her childrens, so it is an incestous relationship and she's aware its bad. But how can she fight off her dad? she remember how it started. She's twelve years old when her dad   brought her in the seminar workshop he had attended as a civil engineer. That night he started raping her in the hotel room they had stayed for the duration of his seminar. From then on he always bring her whereever he goes, she's not allowed to talk to her mom or brothers and sisters,even in school she's not allowed to have friends. He hit her with his belt if he had seen her talking or even playing with anybody. He had been too harsh on her, but her mom and siblings thought she's the favorite child of their dad she's the sixth amongst the nine children of her parents, she has three sisters and five brothers, if they only knew the truth behind .. Until she became pregnant when she's seventeen years old, from then on she had been kept hidden in this basement which she can breathe through the help of inside vent and exhaust vent which her dad personally built.How many times she had tried to make noises so her family up there will notice she's here but no help came.Since then her dad came to sleep with her four times a week  he always make sure to lock the door inside so no one can enter the basement and she assume he lock it outside when he leave, until the children were born, her dad is the one that assist her whenever she gave birth to her children.
            " But why?", Kenna insisted, the voice of her daughter bring her back to reality.
            " Because there are zombies up there, he don't want us to be eaten by zombies", Noanna reasoned.
           " What are zombies?", Kenna innocently asked.
         " Dead person who comes back to life, they walk like this", she tried to walk like how zombies walk in movies.  Kenna laugh lightly, but the child seriously reconsider what her mother said after a while.
           " Then why they do not eat dad?", Kenna ask.
          " Because dad is already very old, they don't like how old people taste like", she told her daughter.
            " How old is dad?", laughing Kenna asked.
           " Dad is already sixty two years old", Noanna replied.
           " Is that too old?", Kenna wanted to know.
           " Yes,that's too old if you count it's a lot of numbers",, Noanna said.
         " Can you teach me about numbers ma? I want to learn how to count", Kenna requested.
       " Yes of course, we will do that starting tomorrow", she promised to her daughter that lit up a smile in her little face.
        " The next day she was obliged to teach her daughter about numbers, surprisingly Kenna learned so fast. She's really a fast learner, Noanna thought. The other kids were interested as well. In a months time she had taught a lot of things she herself learned in school when she 's younger to her own children. All of them were hungry for new knowledge. She pitied the situation of her children,that's why she allowed Kenna and Marko to do their karate play she know it will strengthen them and the practices will keep them healthy.. It might help them be freed from this basement someday and be able to live a normal life.
          She had been scared of her own father and now she had no one to turn for help. She wanted her children to be strong and courageous, because her own cowardice had brought her loneliness, pain, desperation and a lot of frustration.. The only thing that kept her alive is the thought that one day her children will be free. They will be freed and all of the abuses they experience now will come to an end, that is with the help of her children. Her devil father will be put to jail and he will going to pay for all the sins he had done to her and her children.

She thought they live in a normal way living hidden in the underground basement since birth till she reach the age of sixteen. But she later learned that everything about them is a big mistake of her parents..The abusive father and a coward mother who tolerated the devil to abuse her and her children...

Shouko accompanied Yuuya to look at the other clothes yet the little boy didn't show much response as he did toward the blue sweater. She tried asking the sales advisor but unfortunately, the sweater taken by the boy earlier was the very last piece.
"I'm sorry, Yuuya," Shouko was a bit down when she thought she couldn't fulfill the little boy's wish, "They no longer has the design. Why don't we look around and try to find something else that you might like?"
"It's alright, Auntie," Yuuya answered with a soft smile, his lips curved up as he looked at Shouko, "I'll just choose something else."
Seeing that the little bun was a bit closer to her from before, Shouko braced herself to ask, "Well, can you tell Auntie why did you like the sweater?"
This time, Yuuya reacted with blush tinged his chubby cheeks instead of fidgeting with his jacket. Shouko laughed instinctively once she saw his reaction. Without thinking, she reached out a hand and softly patted his head.
Yuuya's eyes widened then he smiled shyly. Shouko laughed again.
"Was there anything on the sweater that caught your attention?" Shouko repeated her question that he left unanswered before.
Yuuya blinked his small, beady eyes. His small head nodded shyly. In a soft and milky voice, he said, "A paintbrush. I liked seeing the paintbrush."
Tilting her head to one side, Shouko tried to recall the sweater. Since she just took a glimpse of it, the image of the sweater was a blur in her mind before she gradually thought of the emblem that was embroidered on the sweater.
Her eyes lit up as she pointed out, "You liked the paintbrush? Do you like coloring?"
With a nod to confirm the question, the scarlet on Yuuya's cheeks spread more.
Understanding that this little boy was totally fixated on it, Shouko couldn't help but smile softly. "Have you colored many drawings? It seems that you love coloring so much, Auntie wonders how many have you colored?"
The soft glow in his eyes faded a bit, revealing a trace of sadness. Yuuya lowered his small head, he was back to fidgeting with his jacket. When he spoke, he sounded hesitant and sad.
"I love drawing and coloring but... Mom disliked it..." 
Shouko was stunned. Baffled, she didn't know what to say as a thought popped in her mind.
In an abusive household like the one that Yuuya came from, although a set of color pencils and coloring books didn't cost much, it went without saying that his parents would be extremely reluctant to buy them for him.
It just happened a few weeks ago yet it was still fresh in her mind how Yuuya's mother behaved toward her own son. 
Her heart ached thinking of what else this little boy went through under his parents' abuse and torment.
"Then, let's look at another section," Shouko quickly changed the topic. It was better to redirect his attention from the bad memory, "Come!"
Yuuya lifted up his head. He gave Shouko a nod.
But, before she could raise her feet and step away from the place, a large and heavy hand draped over her shoulders. Perplexed, Shouko looked at its owner.
"Kyoya!" 
Kyoya gave him a wry smile. Lifting up his arm, he gently stroked her hair, "Have you forgotten about me, your own husband?"
Baffled by his words, Shouko laughed in helplessness, "I didn't forget about you. I'm just helping Yuuya to find his clothes."
Kyoya cast a gaze at the little boy who was now looking back at him. His smile softened seeing his tender look, "Have you found anything you like?"
Ever since he saw his wife confronted the mother-and-son pair, he just watched quietly from behind. It was a matter that didn't need his interference unless the mother planned to go physical on his wife. 
Seeing his wife's happy face when she interacted with the little boy brought back countless memories in his mind. He was delighted to see her like that yet he couldn't help to feel sad as well.
She had always been this soft toward children, especially their son.
"Not yet, Uncle," Yuuya answered with his round eyes staring straight at Kyoya, "I'm sorry if I take Uncle's wife's time too much."
His answer amused Kyoya. He retracted his hand from Shouko's shoulders before he crouched down opposite the little bun.
"I've heard that you like coloring," Kyoya smiled, his dark gaze exuded tenderness when he spoke to Yuuya, "If you liked them so much, you could try drawing on your shirt. It would feel more special that way, yes?"
"Could I?" Yuuya's entire face beamed. His pale face turned a shade rosier, "I could draw what I like, Uncle?"
"You can," Kyoya replied in a firm voice yet his gaze remained gentle. It was almost the same way he always looked at his wife.
Yuuya's eyes sparkled brightly. His countenance brightened as a fit of giggle escaped his little mouth.
Shouko didn't know what to say when she saw the two men, one big and one small interacted with each other. It was hard to not feel soft when she was seeing such a heartwarming scene, especially when it was her own man involved.
As though he was sensing her appreciative gaze, Kyoya looked up and met Shouko's eyes. At the moment their eyes moment, both of their smiles deepened and their eyes gleamed softly.
It was like they were enveloped in a pink bubble, separating them from the rest of the world.
"Do you have any idea about it?" Shouko was the first one who broke the trance.
Kyoya nodded once, he slowly stood up. Yuuya was still staring at him with awe, inciting a laugh from him, "We could ask the director if she would agree to an art session for the children. It would be a great way for them to learn something new."
"Do you mean... by inviting an instructor to the care home?" Shouko was surprised yet it felt pleasant when she thought of his idea.
"En," Kyoya smiled. He swept his gaze toward the rest of the children who were happily showing off their new clothes to one another, "But, that kind of event has to be planned first. For this time, you have to choose another sweater, boy. All of your friends have chosen theirs, you should do the same too."
"Oh," Yuuya looked around and saw his friends' happy faces. It seemed like he was the only one who hadn't pick anything.
Shouko laughed softly looking at his slightly dejected look. She came closer to him and offered him her right hand, "Let's go now. Auntie will help you choose."
Yuuya smiled and once again he held hands with Shouko.
Kyoya watched them with a smile. The waves of sorrow in his heart gradually calmed as a layer of warmth spread within him.
In the end, Shouko chose two sets of clothes for the little boy. One set of winter home clothes while the other one could be used for outings. Kyoya went ahead and paid for all the children's outfits before they left the children's department. 
"Where is the restaurant?" Shouko asked while she was waiting for the children to assemble in a group.
All of the purchases were handed to the department store's staff. Kyoya instructed for them to be delivered straight away to the care home. By doing this, the children wouldn't have to tire themselves holding the shopping bags. 
"It's on the top floor of this mall," Kyoya watched the bodyguards brought the children to the elevator. Since they were too many, they had to spilt into a few small groups, "They could enjoy the scenery overlooking the town as well."
Most of the children weren't as healthy as their peers. To avoid them from having to move around thus tiring them, it was the best for them to just eat in the mall. They had to conserve their energy for their trip to the aquarium next. 
Shouko smiled sweetly to her husband, she felt as if honey was dripping from her heart. In an instant, she hugged his arm and planted a kiss on his cheek. Kyoya was dumbfounded. It took him a second to react. 
"Why did you kiss me, love?" Kyoya arched an eyebrow, looking at his wife with undisguised pampering in his eyes. 
"It's because my husband is so handsome," Shouko answered wittily, "I won't lose anything by kissing a handsome man~"
Kyoya purposely frowned when he asked, "Then, once I'm old and got gray hairs, you won't find me handsome anymore?"
Shouko's smile turned even sweeter hearing his words. Once he was old, she would still remain by his side, accompanying him for the rest of their lives.
In a soft voice, she replied with her eyes beaming in happiness, "By that time, I would be the prettiest grandma beside the most handsome grandpa."
Her answer sent a ripple in his heart as warmth diffused within him. He felt like she was gently touching the softest part of his heart.
"You're right, my wife," Kyoya leaned down, his warm and broad palm was placed at her waist, pulling her closer to him. His breath hovered on her lips as he continued, "We would always remain a beautiful couple."
Although pink blush had begun to tinge her cheeks, Shouko still let him kiss her. 
It was a totally different feeling since right now, she had acknowledged what she truly felt about the man who was holding her at this time.
She loved him.

Throughout her life, she always felt like she was standing above the ocean. While nervously waiting for the ocean to swallow her whole, she still pushed herself to bravely dancing over the surface, enjoying her life.

It was not until one day when she woke up, she realized she had lost a portion of her life.

And then there was him. The one man who was patiently guiding her back to the shore even at the risk of drowning himself.

"You know, I am jealous of my past self because she experienced the love you gave her. I want to remember my feelings but... it's only void in my mind. What should I do?"

He has closed off his heart since he knew even his closest person could throw him away. 

He thought her appearance was just a trivial addition in his life. Little did he expect she could crack open the hard shell covering his heart.

For the first time, he chose to allow himself another chance to love and be loved by someone. But, he never thought to have his hope shattered once his existence was erased from her mind. 

Facing the new beginning, he vowed to make her be happier and loved.

When they got close enough, their mother beamed at them all and gave them a quick hug
"Oh, my babies are all grown up!!"
"Mum!!!"
All three of them squirmed in their mother's hold and tried to get out of the hug. They didn't want their friends seeing them like this.
Once they finally managed to get free, Zero was led over to an open field in front of the house. There was a giant orb that was made of glass placed in the middle of the field.
Inside the orb, various colors swirled and mixed together, they all formed a beautiful image that would make anyone gasp in awe.
Zahir knelt beside zero once he got close to the orb and said:
"Okay Zero, I want you to listen to me. You don't have to stress much over all this because I will be proud of you no matter what happens. Just do your best, okay"
Zero nodded to his dad and moved forwards alone towards the orb.
The orb was known as the Selector. It had the uncanny ability to detect innate magic within children and bring out what branch of magecraft they were most in tune with.
There were six forms of magic that the orb would recognize, they were
Fire magic; which the orb would recognize by bringing forth a red color. This magic was known to be the best for offensive spells.
Water magic; which the orb would recognize with a blue coloring. This magic was known for being the best for healing spells.
Earth magic; which the orb would recognize by showing a brown coloring. This magic was known for being the best for defensive spells.
Wind magic; which the orb would recognize with green coloring. It was known for being the best for rebuff spells
Light magic; which the orb would recognize with a yellow coloring. It was known to be the best for negation spells.
Dark magic; this would be recognized with a black coloring. But there wasn't much known about it, because only one person had ever gotten it before and he had disappeared a long time ago.
Zero hoped he would get something grand like fire magic, or even light magic. It had been his dream to find out his affinity forever.
While on the road during his former trios he never got a chance to find his affinity, he simply tried his hand at everything he could and tweaked them to suit him better.
His cultivation and sharp mind had allowed him to never bother about whether or not he was using a spell correctly. All spells just seemed to work for him...
He was just grateful he had sealed his soul before this test. 
[You're sure you should do this Zero? I still don't think this is a good idea at all]
Bezel had been against Zero performing the test from the very first told him about it.
He didn't know what sort of reaction the orb would have towards someone with such... Special circumstances.
'You don't have to worry about that bezel. I'm sure everything will be fine. I mean, what could go wrong?'

Zero ignored his cheeky hanger-on and walked straight up to the orb. He placed his hand on it and channeled a small portion of his soul power into it.
The orb was able to tell the affinity of a person by absorbing thirty percent of their soul power. It was generally known that children don't have much soul power.
Children at most have 500 units of soul power, and the orb was calibrated with the thought in mind that the amount of soul power it would be absorbing would not exceed 200 units.
And that, was where the orb's crafters fucked up.
KAABBOOOOMMM!!
The orb which had been calibrated only to absorb 200 units of soul power from an untrained child was incapable of withstanding the sheer force of Zero's soul power - which, even when sealed, still possessed the full weight of a top cultivation expert.
What greeted all the guests there was the explosion of a three-thousand-year-old relic in the hands of a child.
Every single person there was stuck with mouths agape and shock written all over their faces trying to comprehend what exactly was going on.
[Wow. I wonder who could have predicted such a turn of events] 
The smug voice of bezel rang through Zero's head.
'Not now Bezel!' Zero screamed internally.
He listened to the crowd murmur about what just happened
"Has this ever happened before?" someone asked
"Of course not. That globe was made by some of the kingdoms best mage crafters!!" another person exclaimed.
"But isn't he too strong?"
"Or perhaps the globe is broken?"
These were some of the words that were reaching zero. 
He turned to his parents and saw they were just as shocked as everyone else. Well, at least his mother was shocked - his father meanwhile.
"Oh my goodness! That's my boy!!!"
"!"
Everyone was surprised by Zahir's sudden shout, but he paid them no mind, he  ran up to Zero and carried him above his head
"That was amazing! Did you see that honey!? The globe couldn't even read him!!"
Zahir turned to his wife with an expectant look, which made her snap out of her shock and move towards the pair along with her other two sons.
She could gawk about the damage done to such a relic later. Her son needed her right now.
"Of course honey," Lucy said as she smiled to Zero, "I couldn't believe it myself"
"Yeah Zero!! Don't feel bad about breaking the -- Ow!!"
Hiro held the back of his head in pain and Loki brought his hand back while smiling at Zero
"Shut up you moron" Loki whispered to Hiro.
Zero simply stared as his family tried their hardest to cheer him up from what they saw as a simple mistake.
He knew this was no mistake, it was all due to his stubbornness and inability to listen to advice. If only he had listened when Bezel told him what could happen with his soul power, this would have never happened.
'But why in the world would something like this even happen! I sealed my soul for this very reason!!'

Holding her mother's index finger, little Alana trotted on the stone covered path of her new and first school - Mc Lauren's kindergarten.

Taking in her surroundings she took in everything that her little eyes could. Small children playing with each other merrily and all she wanted to do was be a part of their games.

"There now we have reached dear", her mother reminded her once they were standing in front of the cute little building. 

"Friends", Alana said pointing to the group of children playing. Her mother sighed seeing the little vampire children play.

Life in Craestiria wasn't easy as it seemed to be when it came to the human population. Although the vampire King and Queen were understanding for the humans, majority of the vampires still had the belief intact that humans were to be used as only pets and slaves. 

More precisely blood bags.

But truth be told these animalistic things happened years ago. It had been a decade since all these things had came to a minimum. 

"Dear you will make friends soon. They aren't your friends", Mrs. Haze said cautiously. But she felt bad when she couldn't answer her daughter's questions of why she couldn't be friends with the playing children.

In all honesty she was very afraid of the vampires herself. A circumstance in her childhood made her fear the vampires to no bounds.

Alana was so young that the child couldn't tell the difference between a vampire and a human. And Mrs. Haze, being  a young mother couldn't find an appropriate reason to tell the difference to her daughter yet. 

Waving her goodbyes to her mother Alana went inside. On her way she found many children crying and whimpering, not leaving their parent's hand. She wondered why they weren't happy to come to school.

All the schools of every town had both humans and vampires studying together to avoid the rift of supremacy in future. Since the passing of the law that Slavery among humans was to be discouraged, the rulers made sure every school and institution abided by the law so that the young minds could be moulded to envisage the equality.

"Here little one, you have to assemble here", Alana turned to see a woman who was a fellow teacher usher her to the group of children. 

Soon she was in one of the cute little classrooms, stuff toys, Lego toys lying everywhere around small tables and chairs.

Everyone was given a coloring page which had an ice cream drawn on it. Alana busied herself in the work, not bothering children around her who were making small talks.

"Lion has sharp teeth."
"No a vampy has sharp teeth."
"Vampy is able to drink only blood but lion can eat everyone."
Alana who was well taught in her home by her mother before joining the kindergarten thought which animal was a vampy. 
'I will ask mamma today who is this vampy animal", she thought to herself.

While children blandly coloured the ice cream softy, Alana decorated by adding chocolate lentils with different colors. She even gave shades of brown on the yellow ice cream cone.

Smiling at her colour page and after staring at it for a long time she went to the teacher.
"Ms. Jelly I have done it", she said in her childish voice.
"Its Ms. Julie dear", the teacher said smiling sweetly at the small kid. Though she was a vampiress, she didn't mind the human child calling her that.

Raising the page, she showed it to everyone, "See this kids. Alana here had done it so beautifully. Everyone give a clap for her."

And so the children clapped while little Alana smiled sweetly. 

"Its not done like this Brendon", the teacher said as she roamed the class looking how everyone was doing.
"Alana dear can you help him please ?", she asked to which the child diligently obliged. 

She seated herself beside the little boy, spreading her coloring page in front of them.
"Don't take the color out of line", she said quietly taking the eraser and rubbing it on the boy's page.

"It is yummy. I want to eat it", the boy said holding Alana's page to which she sent a fake glare.

"We don't eat paper silly, we eat blood", Alana turned back to see another boy frowning at her colour page.
He looked no less than a grumpy cat.

The boy, who was huge compared to her had warily scribbled only red colour on his entire page. "This is bad", he said and suddenly snatched the page from the boy she was helping and tore her page into two.

Today marks my first day in the new world. My new family took me to their home.
Our ride was a carriage, showing that the world is far beyond than my old one. 
I could see weird creatures flying in the air. It appears that different animals or monsters live in this world.

Currently, I'm outside with my father. In this world, magic exists. Its concepts are relatively complicated. Magic and skills use a point system that requires Exp to level up.
It is similar to the games I played in my old world. I got excited when I heard about this, which brings me here. Since we were alone, I decided to ask my father about the system.
"You want to know about the system? Well, we're not completely sure ourselves. Neither your mother nor I are scientists in the field. After listening to uncle Fujiwara's explanation of soul mates, Daiken got more clarity and a better understanding of his situation. As he went up to his room to change for the meet-up with Kunimichi-San, Aika and Haru came running behind him. Giving him a tight hug and a pat on the head which he had to bend down to their level, they help their big brother do something about his new hair color.
"Aniki! Why don't you wear a beanie? They are cute and go well with the clothes you have picked don't you think?" Aika suggested.
"Nah, I'm gonna have to remove it since I'll have to be changing." Daiken rejected. 
While the two figuring out different methods on how to cover up Daiken's hair, Haru was struggling to make out the words he wanted to tell them and his nervousness wasn't helping at all. A few minutes later Haruto finally made his sentence.
"N-Nii-S-San H-how a-abou-about c-color-coloring y-your h-ha-hair w-wi-with s-sp-spray?" Haru asked in his timid, shy voice.
"Hm… that ain't a half-bad idea. Thank you, Haru." Daiken Nii-San replied. "But who has brown hair spray?
"I think I have some." Aika volunteered. "Let me go check."
While Aika scurried off to find the hair spray, Haruto went to find a towel to wrap around Daiken's neck for when they use the spray on his hair. Stood there as he watched his sweet, adorable siblings being so caring towards him gave him a bright smile on his face. Realizing that he has to get ready to leave, Daiken closed the door and changed his clothes.
Sitting patiently till Aika came with the brown hair coloring spray, Daiken and Haruto had gotten everything ready.

Smiling brightly showing his perfect set of teeth, Haruto said "Th-Thank Y-You D-Dai-Daiken N-Nii-S-San."
While they continued their conversation, Aika came running carrying a large spray can that said 'Color fast' on the label over to her shy baby brother and caring big brother.

"Lori? Didn't she move?" Daiken questioned thinking reminiscing about the past.
"Not her, Suzuki-San"
"Suzu- Ohhh Suzuki-Chan!" He said with a clap.
"Well not exactly Suzuki-San who gave the coloring to me her sister did, Nana-Chan. Now go sit on that chair over there." She said pointing to the small stool sitting in front of the dressing table.

"Don't worry me and Haru told about you a lot. Right Haru?" Aika said looking at her twin before going back to attend to her older brother's now straight, silky, smooth silver hair that was exchanged for the right side of his bangs.
Slowly nodding to what his sister, Haruto put his left tiny baby hand to his big brother's knee and said "Yes Nii-Chan" with a big bright, sparkly smile that could heal the Earth and solve world hunger.
"Thank you, Aika, Haru," Daiken said closing his eyes so that his sister can spray the silver part. "I'm so blessed to have siblings like you guys."
"Nii-San Don't. Move."
"Sorry Imoto." He replied with a sheepish grin.
Fifteen minutes later, Aika Imoto had finished coloring her brother's hair while Haruto had gone down to complete his homework before heading for his weekend club activities. Tapping her brother on the shoulder to wake him up, Aika got down from the tiny chair that she was standing on to reach her brother with.
"Thank you, my sweet Imoto," Daiken said getting up and giving his sister tight hug. "Now where is my sweet ototo at?" He continued running downstairs to find his brother who was silently finishing his math homework.
"Nii-San," Haruto whispered.
"Ha~ru~to," Daiken said giving his brother a hug. "My sweet, sweet Haruto."
"I'll be going now," Daiken yelled before closing the door and leaving his house. Jumping over the short unnecessary gate that was right in front of his porch, he ran the rest of the journey to Kunimichi's house.
"I feel like the jacket isn't necessary," Daiken said to himself while he touched his hair to check if it had dried. A while after walking a familiar voice called out to him.
"Daiken?" The man was as Daiken correctly guessed, Shirogane Kousaki
