Bella and Luke returned to Birmingham two days before Christmas, choosing to stay at the townhouse in town rather than out at Tre and Cornelias.  As her first order of business, Bella called to accept the half-hour interview series job immediately before she and Luke collapsed into jet-lag comas.  They emerged in time to spend a pleasant holiday with her brother and his family.

Two days after Christmas, they flew to New York and rented a small apartment for a few months to use as their base of operations.  Charlie and the network crowd were happy to hear that the pair would begin the second Two Streets Over season in February and were very positive about Bellas plan for the remainder of the episodes.

With the help of a realtor, just before New Years they found and fell in love with a property about a half-hours commute outside of the city.  The forty-acre farm included a century-old farmhouse with a huge barn and four other outbuildings in addition to a pond and pristine old growth forest.  They spent a day with an architect creating plans for upgrades and modifications to the house and one of the other buildings.  Remodeling was well underway when Bella and Luke set out to begin shooting their second season.

Their time on the road passed quickly as once again they fell into their rhythm of working together.  Taking into account Bellas growing girth, Charlie created a schedule for them that kept them from flying for more than a couple of hours at a stretch.  They shot episodes in Dublin, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Rome, Brussels, Berlin, and Paris.  They finally made it to Marrakesh, too, and Bella felt vindicated since it was she whod caused them to miss the city the first time.

They returned to New York at the end of April with their half of the season completed.  Per Bellas plan, they passed the baton of hosting Two Streets Over to a younger, hipper duo: Nathan Grant and Morgan Reilly.  Luke and Bella would remain a part of the show, joining Charlie as executive producers.

In mid-May, they had their final walk-through of the renovations on the house.  It was everything Bella had imagined and then some.  All of the hardwood floors had been stripped and refinished, the kitchen and bathrooms were completely upgraded with granite counter tops and custom cabinetry while keeping the nostalgic charm of a hundred-year old farmhouse.  In the master bedroom, Luke took her into their walk-in closet to show her a surprise.  On the back wall he pressed a panel and it popped open, revealing a hidden compartment with a combination keypad lock.  He opened it to show her the customized space hed had built to keep the toys theyd collected.  There were narrow shelves on the left side and hooks on the right.  Bella saw her black leather collar and lead, the black cuffs, and the blindfold hes surprised her with in Argentina.  Added to those were more cuffs, a riding crop, a selection of vibrators and dildos, her favorite body wand, and their latest addition, a soft black leather flogger.  She touched each item lovingly, a satisfied smile on her face.

She pulled a knob to open a drawer lined with black velvet, but it was empty.  What is this for? she asked him.

Oh, I dont know, he teased.  Nipple clamps, jeweled butt plugsWell use our imagination.  Bella giggled quietly with anticipation.  I figured these werent things we wanted just lying around, what with little ones running around and all.  Do you like? Luke asked her.

No, she answered.  I love.

Their tour of the renovations continued to one of the outbuildings a few hundred yards behind the house.  What had once been a large barn had been transformed into a state-of-the-art video production facility and the home of Cowboy Films.  The exterior maintained a facade in keeping with the spirit of a gentlemans farm but gone were the dirt floor and wooden stalls.  Theyd been replaced by sleek offices, edit bays, a conference room, and a small theatre.  One of the offices would be for Bella when she worked from home.

They spent the next couple of weeks moving and getting settled into their new home, their new life.  Luke began work at Cowboy Films almost immediately, immersing himself in his first project, a documentary about the earthquake in Sardinia.  Bella nested, arranging and rearranging the nursery, and she spent time planning her first shows which would begin in September.  On cool spring evenings they relaxed on the porch of the house, chatting quietly and watching the occasional deer that wandered across the meadow in front of the house.

Early one steamy summer morning, Rose Elizabeth McGillicutty made her entrance, red-faced and squalling, all seven pounds, nine ounces of her.  It wasnt until after hed anxiously counted her fingers and her toes that Luke noticed her red hair.  Rose was joined two and a half years later by Nevin Charles, eight pounds, ten ounces, and also red of hair.

Shortly after Nevins birth, Charlie suffered a mild stroke and at Bellas insistence, theyd had the empty housekeepers apartment off the kitchen remodeled into a comfortable bachelors suite, although thus far Charlie had refused to even consider moving in with them.  From time to time he came for dinner and stayed overnight.  The children considered him Grandpa Charlie.

Bella had stubbornly refused to hire a housekeeper or a nanny for the first few months after Rose was born.  It was only after Luke used his position as Dom that she finally acquiesced, though they found middle ground in the form of a compromise.  The housekeeper and the nanny worked weekdays only; weekends were family time.

Bellas show Conversations took off in the ratings almost immediately.  In the beginning she attributed the high number of viewers to people who wanted to see the woman whod been trapped in the earthquake, but the fact was that many people continued to watch throughout the season.  She interviewed people who interested her, from former Presidents to authors, to actors, to scientists.  And the formula seemed to work.  Her personal favorite interview had been with a documentary filmmaker whod just won an award at Sundance, the head of Cowboy Films, Luke McGillicutty.

P/S: I will be rewriting this novel because so far what you have been reading was just impulsive writing from me. I have no proper planning for the plot and even I dont know the ending of the story. However, there were people who insisted on supporting Zhang Ye. However, soon, they drowned in those people's spit. They had no chance to talk!

Zhang Ye felt sourness in his heart. He was also very distressed. That was the popularity that he had worked hard to obtain. But just because of their few words, it was being scattered away. Even those who supported Zhang Ye's poems were no longer that firm in their beliefs. After all, with so many professional Teachers and famous authors and poets collectively denying Zhang Ye's worth, people would all have second thoughts as to whether his poem was really good.

Even his fans were scolding him. Zhang Ye's fists clenched tightly.

Zhang Yuanqi said indifferently, "This is what the circle is like. You have to get used to others. If not..."

This was an old poem. Why so? Because according to the poem's age, it was actually quite old in Zhang Ye's world. It was not very famous at all until the movie, "If You Are the One 2" was released. It then became famous. Even the drama, "Palace" had used it as lyrics for its ending song. Later on, someone said that this poem was composed by Tsangyang Gyatso. Actually it wasn't. There was even a copyright lawsuit. The original author of the poem was Tashi Lam, Dodo? The original name of the poem was "The Silence of Vadjra Guru Pema" and also "See Me or Not".

Some people might question whether a love poem like this would be suitable in this situation.

It was precisely that many people were not sure. This poem was not a love poem at all. It had nothing to do with love. This poem's inspiration came from his world's Guru Rinpoche's famous words, "I have never abandoned people who believed in me, or even those who did not believe in me. Although they will not see me, my children will forever be protected by my compassion." This poem expressed the Guru's neither clinging, nor abandoning love for his disciples. It had nothing to do with romantic love.

It was perfectly apt for Zhang Ye to use it as a response!

Maybe he was not as noble as the original authors, but it currently represented his feelings!
