Evangeline slammed the door before Eric could say anything else. 

She didn't know what was happening to her. The moment she realized that they were alone inside her unit, her heart thumped more than its intended specs. She talked more than necessary and she couldn't settle in one place. She wanted to run around!

She calmed her erratic heart and stared at her adorable pets who were looking over at her, asking for food.

"Don't worry. There's no deeper meaning to this. I'm just returning the favor," she mumbled as she went in her room to take a bath and order food.

After almost an hour, Eric went out from the guest room with his clothes attached to his body. He didn't like wearing someone else's clothes. Thus, he first washed his wet garments and dried them as he took a bath. 

By the time he went out, Evangeline was already seated at the dining table where various foods laid out in vibrant colors. Aromas circulated in all corners that made one salivate. It was like they were celebrating from the sheer amount of food present on the table. And judging from the exquisite cuisine, Eric would bet his life that they were not cheap.

"You sure took your time."

Eric's attention flickered to Evangeline's soft sarcastic voice. His eyes traveled from the food to the alluring woman, who was now wearing a simple shirt and shorts. 

In fact, the short was too short. He could practically see her smooth, creamy thighs and her round perky bottom. Her dump wavy hair was alluringly cascading on her back. Her face was flushed, lips full and tantalizingly red. Her skin, supple, tender and smooth, evident that she freshly came out from bath.

Breathing heavily, he ate his food in silence.

"Eric, you should try this. This is an authentic wagyu meat. It melts in your mouth. And this, this is a black bone chicken, it's hard to breed and have lots of nutrition! And this . . ."

Evangeline went on and on as she served one food after another on Eric's plate. More like, she shoved all the food onto the poor man's dish.

Clasping her hands in delight, she said, "Wait, I'll get us a bottle of wine." And she zoomed in the bar counter.

Evangeline's dainty waist swayed as her round bottom cheeks temptingly peeked out from her short shorts, wiggling with each sway.

*gulp . . .

Eric released a low grunt when his cock was squashed inside his pants. He wouldn't be surprise if he found a zipper mark thereafter.

His pupils rounded when Evangeline appeared on his side out of nowhere, pouring wine into his glass. Her body slightly bent and some of her hair fell from her shoulders while her shirt stretched to accommodate her ample breasts.

Closing his eyes, he savored the smell of her hair . . . then he straightened on his seat and slid his eyes on Winter once more, distracting himself.

Evangeline inwardly smirked at the sight of the uncomfortable man.

It meant she could entice a reaction from him. 

Which is a good sign.

The two continued to eat in silence until their stomach was full. As Eric guessed, they couldn't finish the whole food.

"You should take these with you. I'm just going to throw it all out anyway. You can reheat it if you're hungry," Evangeline said, breaking the silence between them.

Eric didn't argue. He could save money and time on the idea. And the food was after all, delicious!

"Thank you." 

He helped Evangeline wrapped the food and eventually, she led him outside.

The atmosphere turned a bit awkward after that. Eric didn't know what to say while Evangeline continuously stared at him as if studying his face.

"I'll go ahead," he said. He then went to the elevator lobby, leaving the beauty behind who was still standing in the doorway.

"Eric."

He stopped and looked at her. But she just stayed there without moving nor saying anything.

He nodded a bit. "See you tomorrow." Then he left.

A period of time passed and Evangeline was still glued on her spot. She was smiling to herself like an idiot.

She was not exactly ignorant of her feelings. Though she didn't trust anyone completely, it didn't mean that she would deny what her heart wanted.

I want him.

Yes, she like Eric . . . but she wouldn't admit that anytime soon. 

She would get close to him, but she wouldn't get too close. She would build a bridge to him, but she would not burn her escape route.

She didn't entirely trust him after all.

For now, I will enjoy this feeling.

It has been so stressful kasi kahapon lang natapos ang 1st Monthly Exam namin and it was easy but not to the point na perfect na, may mga super little limot lang ako sa ibang na study ko and I don't mind. Iyon lang nakaya ko eh, I should be proud of myself because if I won't then who else?

Napatingin ako sa cellphone ko that is beside my pillow and I saw a text from Pervy, "Di mo ba ako namimiss baby? Halos two days kitang di nakita, I miss you so bad :(" iyan ang text niya, I just roll my eyes because of his OA side again.

I typed a reply naman, "No, hindi kita namiss and would you please stop being OA," and I press sent. Yes, cold ako sa kanya lagi. I mean he doesn't have to act like my real boyfriend just because he didn't date a Royal Northernian before right? It's so mababaw. 

Bahala siya if he will keep up this act but ako hindi, only kapag andyan si papa or grandma, but if they're not, no sweet-girlfriend-act.

I look at my phone again when I felt it vibrate, it's his reply sa reply ko, "If OA means 'showing my love for my baby' then yes, I am OA baby."

Napatingin ako sa bintana ko when may narinig ako na nag-tik-tik na sound, and may super liit black na bato ata? Who the alien ang nagbabato sa window ko, oh my goodness! Baka it will break malalagot ako.

"Buy me some cotton candy baliw," And I do my most effective pa-cute with my beautiful eyes para bilhan talaga ako ni baliw na Josh ng cotton candy. 

He stick out his tongue, "Ang takaw-takaw mo, di mo pa nga nauubos iyang lollipop mo na sobrang laki tas ngayon gusto mo na naman nang cotton candy? Oh come on Juls, uso iyong ubusin muna ang kinakain bago bumili ng iba," and nag grin na naman siya.

Napa-pout naman si me dahil doon, hmp! He's like a father talaga and it's so kill-joy. Ang sarap kaya tignan nung cotton candy na na-form ng parang flower with different kinds of colors huhu. I look at my lollipop na dinidilaan ko and malaki pa rin ito, di ko ata mauubos to ng mabilis huhu, buti nalang its so tasty so I'm enjoying it naman.

"Oo na! Oo na! Ibibili na kita!" 

I was shock na napatingin kay Josh na papunta na sa nagtitinda ng cotton candy. Parang kumikinang ang mga mata ko ngayon and siguro there will be hearts sa mga eyes ko if I would describe it. 

Nang mabili na ito ni Josh and papunta siya sakin, napatawa nalang siya na parang inaasar ako na para akong baliw na ewan na parang bata but I didn't mind ang importante ay nandito na sa harap ko ang napakalaking cotton candy flower with colors!

"Para kang timang Juls, alam mo 'yon?", sabi niya pero I just stick out my tongue, I don't want to make him asar muna kasi he is so mabait ngayon and baka he will bawi this cotton candy and lollipop, mahirap na. Di ko pa natapos.

Immediately, sinunggaban ko ang cotton candy, and it sweetly melts on my tongue, heaven! 

"Saan tayo sa susunod?", I heard him ask, then tinignan ko nalang siya at sinenyasan na I will eat muna saglit and then I will answer but of course pinagpatuloy namin ang paglalakad bahala na kung ano maisip ko na next naming pupuntahan.

When I tapos na kainin iyong tatlong subo ng cotton candy, I look at Josh, "Hmm, sa food court tayo, I'm craving uhh-- Ano nga tawag doon? Ah! Kwek-kwek!" and I raise my lollipop when I'm glad na na-remember ko iyong name ng favorite ko na orange balls tapos may egg sa loob yihee!

Naramdaman ko ang hands ni Josh na nasa ulo ko and mess my hair, tinignan ko siya and sumimangot, pasalamat siya binigyan niya ako ng husbands ngayon, si honey lollipop and cotton candy hmp, "You never change," nasa ulo ko pa rin ang hands niya and wala ata siyang plano na iwakli iyon.

It's okay naman, para hindi ako ma bother na tignan nilalakad ko na way and ma-focus ko ang pag eat ng mga husbands ko, oops it is not a good term hihi. So anyway, buti nalang nasa ulo ko ang hands ni Josh because para niya akong gina-guide diba.

"Juls," rinig kong sabi ni Josh and I look at him and he is looking sa harap namin, he's calling me pero bakit nakatingin siya sa ibang direction? Timang ba siya? Okay I don't know what's timang but it suits him now kasi.

I opened the door to the room that was given to me. It was a simple guest room, draped with luxurious curtains and sheets. They were even a small desk with a mirror standing across the bed. 

I couldn't help but examine everything. My hands unconsciously slipped in my pocket, and I popped in a gold coin in my mouth like candy. They were even a small closet and an empty chest. I walked over and sat down in front of the large metal chest and opened it to see if they were anything inside.

 Nothing. 

I decided that this was going to be my personal chest. I didn't want anyone to rummage through my clothes, nor did I want people to steal from me. With my hands against the metal part where a lock should be, I tried using one of the skills that I had. Metal Manipulator. 

I wasn't quite sure what to do or how to activate it. 

"Metal Manipulator," I called out. Nothing. 

Scratching my head, I tried touching all around it, hoping that something would happen. Even still, nothing transpired. This time I carefully examined the chest. I imagined a lock appearing before me with a simple combination key that only I knew. Though what happened in front of me was genuinely unexpected. The whole metal chest melted into a puddle. A second later, the metal morphed and changed into a bit smaller chest with a three different combination lock. 

What the hell? I cocked my head confused. I felt a massive drain of energy escaping from my body. Once again, I popped in another gold coin and felt a bit of my energy come back. 

Click. Click. Click. 

The chest opened, and a message appeared in my mind. 

Magical Chest

Created from dragon magic, this chest can not be opened without unlocking all three locks. Number lock, blood lock, and a key.  It can magically store a large amount of items in the chest. No one can move or touch this chest without the owner's consent.

A key appeared onto the ground, and I picked it up. I pulled out a bag of gold coins and placed it into the chest neatly. Taking out a handful of coins, I put it back into my pocket. Closing the chest, it automatically locked by itself. 

Well then, my deed was done in finding a unique storage space that I did not know was even possible to recreate. I got up and pulled out the gold coin in my pocket and popped it into my mouth. When I turned around, I noticed Phil standing in front of the door staring at me, crunching the gold in my mouth. 

I'm done for. 

"D-d-did you just eat that gold coin?"

Though I'm surprised that he did not see me changing the chest but instead just caught me eating a gold coin.

"I'm not sure what you are *crunch* talking *Gulp* about." Complete fail. I couldn't help myself from the sweet taste of gold in my mouth that it just naturally happened. 

"You did it! I know you did." Phil glared towards me. Without any fear that I might be some kind of monster, he grabbed my hands and pulled it towards him. He pried my hands open to see a single gold coin in hand. "See! I didn't see things!"

"Calm down. You're getting too excited." I brush his hands aside. The cat was out of the bag, and the only thing to do was act naturally. As if that was easy enough. 

"How are you eating gold like it's some candy? Wait, does it even taste good?" Phil asked curiously. I could tell they had no sense of fear but more of wonder. 

"Yep. It tastes great, though I don't think it would be even possible for you to eat it. It's metal, you know." 

"I wasn't going to try." 

"So, why haven't you asked the million-dollar question?"

"Million dollar question? What does that mean?" 

"That's," I stopped myself realizing what I had said. In this world, people don't have any form of currency in dollar bills and instead still used gold. "What I meant is why haven't you asked me why I am eating gold?"

"Oh. Well, I was a bit too taken aback to see you munching on gold that I forgot." He lightly blushed in embarrassment. "So, why are you eating gold?"

"Skin problem." I bluntly replied with a straight face.

"Huh?"

"Just think of it like this. My body has been cursed, especially my skin. So I need to eat gold to replenish it to its healthy look." I showed him my arm, but he stared at me with confusion. 

"I never heard an elf eating gold before. You must be some special kind of elf to be cursed...That means you must have accumulated a lot of wealth." Phil was silent, looking at me warily. 

"Well..." I didn't want to indulge in any more information. I only met Phil for four days now. Him finding out my secret of eating gold was something I did not expect to be dropped like a bomb so quickly. 

"Here." Without thinking, I handed him a gold piece in his hands. "You can have this."

Phil looked down, confused. His demeanor changed, and he quickly turned angry. "I do not need gold to stay silent. You can keep it." His voice rose up in a fury. 

"Sorry. I didn't mean no disrespect." I took back the gold coin and instead popped it into my mouth like it was nothing.

 Ah~ The sweet, savory taste of gold in my mouth could not beat any sweet that I know of right this moment. If I could, I would eat more, but I needed to hold back and keep an ample amount if I wanted to stay for two years. Right now, I only had enough for one year.

Phil started uncomfortably. He saw me just eat the gold as if it was candy. "That look like it hurts." His anger was abated and instead was amazed at what I just did. 

"No. It melts like chocolate in my mouth." 

"Chocolate? You say some strange things, you know." 

"You don't know chocolate?" I gasped in shock. There was no chocolate in this world at all? The thought horrified me. I love apples, but the next second favorite treat was chocolate. This was a sacrilege. I needed to find out if they were any sweet shops around here that even had one. "Just think of it as some kind of candy." 

"So you are a noble, aren't you." 

"No. I told you I'm not." This was going in circles again. Does he not get it?

"But you know only nobles have the wealth to indulge on sweet things and even have Ancient Draconic coins. Not only that, you eat it like it's nothing. That means you must have a large stash somewhere." 

He had a sharp mind, though they were one incorrect thing. I was not a noble but a dragon. Telling him that I was a dragon sounded like trouble brewing in the making. Was this the effect of Double Trouble or just my bad luck? I didn't know, but I was getting a headache. 

"Please keep this a secret." 

"I will. Though what would you do for me?"

Why this little brat.

"What do you want?" I crossed my arms.

"Three favors that you can not disobey later down the line."

"It got to be reasonable."

"I understand. I will hold up my end as a gentleman." 

I couldn't help but eye him suspiciously. The things this guy can come up with could be dangerous if I'm not careful. I made sure to steel myself for the possible problems that he might bring up to me later down the line.

"Fine. Three favors it is." 

"Great." Phil stuck out his hand to shake. I reluctantly grabbed it. How I wish he took the gold instead of asking for favors that I could not go back on. All of a sudden, I felt a rush of energy from his hand. An electric shock ran throughout my body. "The contract is complete."

I’m rich! Gahahahaha! Wait.... Noooooooo. I’m eating it? Someone stop me, for once in my life I am considered a billionaire but now I have to resort to eating gold for dessert or my scales will become dull and weak. Sigh....The woes of being a dragon. Especially when I can’t just leisurely spend it on my own whims anymore. Sob. Sob. 

Wait a moment, what is this? My life is entwined with a demon lord? Why? I want to live a peaceful but fun life. Not resort to having only three choices where it will lead me all down to my own death. This is not fair!

Being brought to a new world where monsters, heroes, and even magic resides. Dear god of fortune if you are there please please please stop making gold taste like sweet candy. Instead make it taste like apples. I want some apples right now, sigh. I do not sound like a dragon at all. Also please zap this damn demon lord out of my life!

Ragus sighed since they aren't going to leave any time soon.

He made his way towards the location where he had placed many pits.

"Well, come at me, vicious mutts." Ragus spoke, still holding the spikes on his hands.

The alpha started to rush, moving away from the pits as it charges at Ragus without care.

Ragus's eyes flickered with light, the alpha thought that he will use the spikes again, hence, he decided to take the first move to catch the enemy off guard, but to think that...

Ragus threw the spikes down, he immediately clenched his fists, he stood firmly and at the next instant, he punched.

The alpha wolf jumped, with no way to avoid a punch while it's midair, it received a punch from its neck

Swish~ Pak!

"Khahak!" The alpha wolf was sent away a few meters from its previous location, bearing the pain from its neck, it slowly stood up.

But Ragus didn't stop there: "Die you useless mutt!"

This time, he's the one that jumped, with a kick aimed at the wolf's head.

The alpha wolf still trying to balance itself couldn't dodge.

Pak~! BAM!

Ragus's kick landed on its face, slamming it on to the ground forcefully.

The alpha wolf yelps from the pain while Ragus's feet still stepping on its head, the latter then glared at the remaining wolf, but instead of backing away, the wolves actually glared more fiercely than before.

"The heck is wrong with all of you?!" Ragus couldn't help but exclaim helplessly, to think that even killing a wolf and then pummeling the alpha wolf isn't sufficient to force these wolves away from fear and actually became fiercer.

Ragus sighed, he removed his foot from the alpha wolf's head.

But then, he noticed something, the alpha wolf's stomach is actually too thin: "How many days had you all not eaten?"

The wolf is already beaten quite harshly with two attacks, but its eyes still fiercely glaring at him.

Ragus shook his head and then took something out of his pouch, a round blue pill and approached the alpha wolf.

"Grrrrr!" All of the wolves growled.

"Wooo." As they were about to charge, the alpha wolf seemingly stopped them in fear that more of them will die if they continue any further, so long as they can leave this place, then, they'll definitely stay as far away from this place as possible.

Ragus continued to approach the alpha wolf.

"Grrrr." This time, the alpha wolf is the one that tried to shooe Ragus away.

Ragus sighed, he then immediately threw the pill at the alpha wolf's mouth and kicked its jaw to close it completely.

The alpha wolf yelped, but as the pill melts in its mouth, the alpha wolf's health slowly returned to normal, it slowly stood up and licked its mouth until the flavor of the pill completely vanished from it.

Ragus sighed, he stood up and slowly backs away: "Now, get out of the village before someone else kills you, and remember to not come back!"

Sadly, the wolves couldn't really communicate with a human.

But for some reason, the alpha wolf made a sound before retreating back to the forest dragging their dead friend away too.

Ragus sighed: "Finally, I thought it will last longer than that..."

As he thought of this, he continued placing the stakes inside the pits and covering it up so that it wouldn't be visible to a monster's eyes, after all, there may be a next pack that will visit his house.

Dawn already appeared when he finished, the next thing he did is to sigh another time due to a depressing event, he took his pouch out and glanced at the pills inside.

"Nine..." Each of these pills is called 'Candy', it's something that he had been making himself.

And every day, he feeds them to his children.

He made his way to the end of his field, and there, a ten-meter squared land can be seen, planted are different kinds of medicinal plants.

"This, I'd have to make an extra."

He looked at the herb and touched it.

He plucked six of them and then walked to another plant.

Ragus sighed, these herbs are hard to make. especially when all of them are not available in this world, instead... he created them himself!

Ragus returned home with a heavy heart and took out a cauldron from underneath his house.

He placed it out and started heating it up: "Since I can't control mana to heat something as simple as this, it's a really troublesome thing to do."

It took nearly an hour before the cauldron heated up completely, he filled half of it with water as it started to boil immediately.

He placed all of the herbs he picked inside and started mixing it with a long steel spoon.

After a while, only 1/20 of the liquid remained, he immediately poured it on a bowl to cool it off.

Afterward, he cooked a pot of rice and mixed it together with a third of his concoction.

Ragus heaved a sigh of relief and started to make it form into a round pill, the remaining concoction is then used to make the rice more shiny and firm like that of a candy.

After an hour, he stood up, he heaved a sigh of relief: "I think I won't be able to guard the fields today, I'll ask someone to do it on my stead."

Ragus smiled satisfied at his children, he couldn't help but utter in a low tone: "A peaceful life doesn't sound so bad."

A Father with five children! Her wife died giving birth to five lovely children, a lone father without a way to bring them up alone decided to become... a farmer! But later, having children that are extremely talented, will he, as a father be able to held his head up high?! Or... is he really a useless father?

'Urgh..'

Fei Shuang woke up sluggishly.  She slowly opened her eyes and blinked a few times. Her head was hurting so badly, as if it was hit with a rod.

How drunk did she get last night for her to be in such a state? The last time she drank this much was the night of her graduation out of college. 

Drowsily, she shot her eyes open once more and wandered to the multicolored blanket— Wait a minute, and when did she get tucked under the blanket? As far as she could remember, she slept with empty bottles of beer on her but as she gently observed her surroundings, there was not a single bottle near or even behind the sofa, not even on the centre table that contained the candy bowl she continuously puked on but only to see pancakes—

And wait... her eyes encountered a white paper placed under the glass cup with 2 pills of whatsoever she didn't know. She gently took the paper and read the content which says, "I didn't want to wake you up because i knew you had too much alcohol yesterday. Don't look for me and don't worry too much,take the pills after eating to soothe the headache. I've gone out for some groceries and will be back very soon.... Well maybe even come back while you're still sleeping XD.

Now she understood, it was all ZhenZhu's work. But how did she clean up the house and even make breakfast on time? Did she woke up early? What time is it exactly? 

Fei Shuang looked at the wall clock and read the time struck 12:OO PM. "Huh? It's already 12:OO?" She almost jaw dropped then continue, "Does this mean ZhenZhu didn't go to work today, all because of me?" She questioned herself, confused.

'This wasn't want I wanted, I don't want to affect ZhenZhu's work...' Fei Shuang murmurs. Anyways, she shouldn't let the pancakes run cold and slowly grabbed the armrest of her powered wheelchair. She suddenly had the urge to pee and needed to wash her face too.

She slowly directed her movement towards the bedroom, and went straight into the bathroom. She used a lot of effort to adjust herself onto the toilet seat. There were tears and screaming fits as she supported her head with her hand.

'Ouch.. it hurts so bad.. Gosh, life is getting harder and harder for me. I can't even squat on the toilet sit anymore, this is driving me crazy. God did I offend in you anyway? 
Well definitely, when was the last time i went to church or even bow down to pray?' She couldn't remember, maybe that was the reason why God is angry with her.

In her moment of desperation, she said to God, "I don't know why this has happened, but if you can make me to understand this, it might make things a little easier."

Fei Shuang moved towards the laboratory to brush her teeth. She gently squeezed the toothpaste. 

After brushing up her mouth and washed her face, she steered her movement out of the bedroom and went straight to the sitting room. She discovered that ZhenZhu was already back.

ZhenZhu saw her and said, "You're up? The pancakes have already gone cold,come while i reheat it in the microwave for you."

"Wait, I'll eat it like that. I'm so hungry that I can't wait for that long."

"Ok, as you wish." ZhenZhu dropped the plate back to its rightful place and continued, "Do you know that Angel is still sleeping? I wonder what he did last night to be so tired.

"Ahhh I can't believe i-it.." Fei Shuang suddenly stopped talking after recalling what happened yesterday night. She was actually the one who poured a whole bottle of beer into Angel's bowl.

'Oh Shit! Did i really do that? That's so mean.'

"You can see it for yourself if you want to."

"No thanks. This is so good! Mmmmmm yummy! The pancakes are wonderful!" Fei Shuang couldn't resist and praised ZhenZhu's dish. The pancakes were covered in honey with blueberries.

"I'm so happy you like it. You need to change. Let me go fill the bathtub while you eat."

Fei Shuang only nodded and continued eating.
She was so hungry that she ate all it all and even end up burping.

'Burpp.. God I'm even adapting to bad habits.'

She just finished taking the pills when she heard the doorbell ring.

*Ding Dong*

"I'm coming!!" ZhenZhu spoke from the comfort room.

"Don't worry Girlfriend I'll open the door and see who it is." Fei Shuang immediately directed her movement to the door."

*Ding Dong*

"Gosh I'm almost there!" Fei Shuang murmured to herself as she opened the lock. She was surprised with the person at the door.

The man noticed her face reaction and said,
"What? Why are you looking at me like that? Won't you welcome me in?" 

Fei Shuang only stared at him. Not a single word escaped her mouth. He was an average height man with bushy eyebrows and brown almond shaped eyes. He had a symmetrical face with a few days' growth of beard. His hair was a fine coffee brown matching his casual wear.

"Who is it?" ZhenZhu asked in annoying tone while holding a shower gel. She immediately threw what she was holding at the man but he slightly dodged.

"What are you doing here you thief?! What do you want now eh? More Money?"
ZhenZhu asked coldly as the anger inside her began to boil.

The mans countenance darkened as he heard ZhenZhu's words.

"I don't need your money. How many times do i have to apologize to you ZhenZhu? I'm not here on my own will, Fei Shuang called me last night."

"You're a liar! How do you expect me to believe your cheap lies?! Fei Shuang would never call you." ZhenZhu immediately disagreed.

Fei Shuang wasn't sure if what he was saying was a lie, so she decided to speak up. "I didn't call you Monkey,did i?"

"Yes you did. Let me remind you what happened, you called me around 1:50.. maybe 55 and said you wanted to do business. You said you'd pay me a huge amount of money just to burn your house and castrate Cao Feng!"

"Burn her house? Castrate Cao Feng?! Are you beginning to come up with things you bad monk—"

Monkey wasn't in the mood to listen to any of ZhenZhu's accusations nor her bad mouthing and immediately cut her off.

"I'm not done ZhenZhu. I knew you (Fei Shuang) would never agree to do business with me ever since the incident that happened a while ago and you sounded a bit drunk so i—"

Fei Shuang stopped him from finishing what he wanted to say after recalling everything that happened yesterday, "You convinced me not to burn the house but rather sell everything inside it and keep the money for yourself. And you promised you'd make Cao Fengs life more worst than death."

'What have I done Fei Shuang?!'

ZhenZhu wanted to open Fei Shuang's skull to see if her brain was working well. She wondered if Fei Shuang had really gone bananas.

"Why did you do that girlfriend?What were you even thinking?!" ZhenZhu looked at her as if she wanted to beat her up.


"..."

'Why on earth did i call Monkey after what he did? He scammed my best friend and ran away on their wedding day!' Since it was clearly her own stupidity that put her into this mess, all she could do was go silent.

"Well you made such decisions because you were drunk and that's why i don't blame you. I should have pressed charges against you Monkey when i had the chance, now get out of my sight before i call the police!" ZhenZhu spoke out of anger as she tries to lock the door but was stopped by Monkey.

"Wait, I'm not done yet! I've got something important to say and give you and Fei Shuang but I suggest it in private. Let me get in the house first." 

After not saying anything for about 3 minutes, ZhenZhu conceded.

"Fine! You can come in but you only have 10 minutes and then you'll leave." ZhenZhu was busy talking to Fei Shuang and didn't get to see the suppressed smile on monkey's face.

"It's ok for me." He entered the house.

"Innocent, what?" Lexi frowned hearing the literal meaning of the game. Though parts of her were relieved, alas, she doesn't consider herself as innocent. 

Churu tilted her head and stared at her with a harmless yet honest look, "Aren't you a virgin, chu~?"

Lexi's face went all beet red hearing the word 'virgin'. It's not that she was totally ashamed of it because it's her pride to preserve her chastity only for Morris Liu on their wedding night, however, it was still embarrassing to hear those words coming out from the cute little dumpling. Moreover, Churu blurted it out like she was just asking her if she had eaten candy or not. 

"Oh ho, don't be shy chu~" Churu teased with a sly grin on her cute adorable face. 

"Churu!" Lexi splashed bits of water to Churu as she hushed her and her teasing smile. Alas, Churu did get wet from all over her face which stunned both of them. Just then, a notification once again showed out of thin air,

Both Lexi and Churu blinked numerous times with a blank expression on their faces. After some time when the notification vanished, both of their expressions brightened up as they subconsciously turned their heads to each other. 

"Chuuu!!!" Churu flew and hugged Lexi's cheeks in jubilation. Feeling the little dumpling, Lexi could not help but warmed up. 

"You're so fluffy, Sissy!" She rubbed Churu's back by the back of her index finger. Indeed, though they had spent many days together, alas, aside from the facial mask that Lexi put on Churu, she never touched or felt Churu's body. It's like the little dumpling was only a wandering spirit. 

Shortly after, Churu flew back and demanded with an ear to ear smile, "Quick, bath me chu~!"

Seeing how giddy the cute little one, Lexi felt the excitement and good vibes Churu was sending hence, she nodded in agreement. 

"Yes, yes, Madam." 

The night continued as Lexi pampered Churu until she nearly melts from relaxation. They also did their usual facial session before until late at night.

The next morning…

Lexi woke up feeling light and blooming as she had a good night's sleep. Seeing that Churu on her side who had a facial mask on her face early in the morning, Lexi giggled. 

"Morning pretty~" She lightly poked Churu and was satisfied on the soft solid texture lying beside her. 

"Am I really pretty, chu? Did I became much prettier after I leveled up, chu?" Churu sought for a compliment as she rolled to face Lexi. 

Lexi smiled before she slightly nodded which brightened Churu's mood to another level. 

"I knew it, chu~!" Churu cheered repeatedly and flew in the air while spinning with her arms wide open. Lexi on the other hand also stood and stretched her body.

She had done her usual morning ritual before she headed downstairs for breakfast. Churu who turned to a sparkling dumpling followed her as usual. 

However, even before Lexi could reach the dining area, she could hear her parent's loud laughter. Not only she was surprised by the light atmosphere surrounding the whole Yang mansion, but Lexi was also shocked silly hearing Ethan's voice coming from the said part of the residence. 

Lexi fastened her pace and to her surprise, her parents together with Ethan were happily having breakfast. 

"Oh dear, you're awake?" Mother Yang gently called out which made her father and Ethan turned their attention to her direction. 

She blinked her eyes countless times thinking that her eyes were deceiving her. Alas, Ethan was really having breakfast with her parents! What's more? They seemed like they were enjoying each other's company!

"Kyaaa~! Mr. Initial task meeting with the parents, chu~!" Churu instantly fangirled witnessing the scene on the dining area. 

"Uh… shouldn't you be resting?" Lexi asked and started taking cautious strides to her mother's side. 

"Oh my dearest, that's what we told Ethan but he insisted to accompany us to breakfast." Mother Yang responded with a satisfied smile. 

'Ethan?! When did they start addressing in the first name basis?!' The corner of Lexi's lips twitched. Though Ethan Lu was younger, alas, there is a certain line in addressing people especially those who don't have close ties. Hence, why do her parents seemed comfortable with him if they only met him last night? 

Lexi shifted her obvious suspicious gaze on her father yet, Frederick Yang also had a peaceful aura around him. He spoke,

"You didn't tell us that the friend you mentioned was Ethan."

"Friend?" Lexi repeated in confusion. Recalling her discussions with her parents, Lexi remembered that she once mentioned that she only has one friend but she never disclosed who it was. God knows she was referring to Churu but sadly, not her parents, hence, it led to this kind of misunderstanding. 

"Eh? She even called me big brother, Auntie." Ethan winked at her with a sly smile on his thin red lips. Unlike last night when he was pale and seemed he was dying, Ethan was now full of vitality and back to his usual self. 

'Auntie?!' Lexi scoffed and was rendered speechless hearing him call her mother like he has known her since childhood. Lexi wobbled on her seat as she was mind-boggled by Ethan's charm. He even managed to bewitched her parents!

"Dear, I'm so sorry about last night… we should have listened to you until the end. If it wasn't for Ethan, we won't know what really happened last night." Mother Yang sounded dejected as she apologized to her. Lexi who was lost like a little child darted her gaze to her mother, and to her father, who also had a disheartened expression.

"Stand up straight and tall Grace." He nudged at me as we went to the limousine.

"That is my personal driver.. usually he doesn't really care what's going on but do be cautious because you never know who we might encounter." He whispered towards me as we both got inside the limousine.

I got close to him and whispered. "WHY ARE WE GOING TO YOUR HOUSE. WHAT IF THE CRAZY PSYCHO ISABEL IS THERE... I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH HER."

He whispered back. "Don't worry. We are going to the resthouse... she should not be there." 

The driver caught on to our whispering giving us a suspicious look.

"Hello, young master. Whenever you call you are always alone... I see that you have a friend with you." The driver said to us from the front.

Louie nudged me to answer.

"Oh yes... I guess I find her company rather relaxing." I answered.

"Although I am quite curious.. who is this beautiful young lady with you? Why are you taking her to your home? Does your fiancee Isabel know about this." He barraged me with a lot of questions making me really shiver in fear.

WHY DOES THIS DRIVER HAVE SO many QUESTIONS... I'm like barely holding it together.

Louie clears her throat answering it for me since he saw how nervous I was. "I'm Grace Baltazar. I'm the C.E.O of Bittersweet Food Corporation perhaps you have heard of some of our products?" He answered.

"Oh... I do love the butterscotch dream... although I am very old... I occasionally eat that candy... it's like heaven in every bite.. especially when it melts..." The driver said.

"Lovely... I'm glad you enjoy it." Louie chuckled.

He's good... well too good at pretending to be me...

"Although why are you going to young master's personal resthouse? Surely you do not wish to perform anything inappropriate." The driver asked sneering at us.

WHY DOES EVERYONE ASSUME WE HAVE BEEN FUCKING... CAN'T WE JUST CHAT LIKE NORMAL. ALSO, THIS DRIVER IS TOO CHATTY FOR MY TASTE.

"Oh heavens no! I'm coming home with her because of uh..." He answered for me. "It's for future collaboration with the Bittersweet Food Corporation on a new product... and it was Mr. Quinones's idea to have lunch and discuss our plans at his place so we would get acquainted with one another."

"That sounds lovely. Although I have to tell you, young master. Your father called, he's telling you to do good on your presentation in a few hours." The driver said.

"Thank you for telling me," I answered.

I go close to Louie whispering to him. "What is the deal with this gentleman? Pretty sure he isn't just a driver...

Louie whispered back. "I'll ask him so he can say.."

"Excuse me, my good sir? You seem to know a lot of Mr. Quinones? Are you just his driver or are you more than that?" Louie asked.

"Ms. Baltazar, I've been a servant to the Quinones family ever since the young master is a child... so yes...although you are very familiar to me... have we met before? The name Grace is very familiar to me." He turned around looking at Louie.

WAIT! He's that butler that's been cooking for us! When we were in high school! I remember him always being outside doing gardening!

"Remember when you went to my house... You always liked the salmon, he's the one that cooked them." I said to Louie...

"Oh right... I do remember visiting your place Mr. Quinones when we were in high school... we used to do our homework together."  

The driver's eyes widen in shock. "Oh my! You are Grace?! You've grown into such a well-rounded lady..."

"Thank you..." Louie replied smiling to the driver.

Aww... the driver is pretty sweet... he even complimented me... although it's kind of weird since I'm at Louie's body and Louie is in my body...

"We are here young master..." The driver got out of the door and opened it for us.

We thanked him and entered the large resthouse through the garden.

"Wait?! You actually live alone here?" I asked him.

"Yes... it's where I sleep and go when I don't want to see Isabel or deal with any problems with anyone from my family." He sighed.

Now that I think about it... I haven't really met his mother or father... usually I just met his butler, him and...

"There you are Louie... out there being a womanizer like you always do?" A man standing in front of the resthouse door crossed arms. He looked very young... a few years younger than me... that's for sure.. although he looks a lot like Louie...

Welp! I mean he isn't exactly wrong that Louie is womanizer... but WHO IS YOU? Who is this big shot? Looking like he owns the place.

"Since you didn't come home yesterday I immediately assumed you slept with a woman... and frankly I was right." He glared at Louie before glaring back to me.

"Oh... I didn't sleep with Mr. Quinones... I'm actually here to collaborate with him on a product together... I'm Grace Baltazar and I'm the CEO of Bittersweet Food Corporation... who might you be?" Louie offered his hand towards the man.

"Anyways Ethan what are you doing here?" I asked him, giving me a foul look.

"I'm just checking up on the man that's going to reel in all the investors with his presentation... since father doesn't trust me. He never does... so just checking up on you." He said in a semi annoyed voice.

Why does he look so pissed... he can just present the thing for me... if he wants to.. I HONESTLY DON'T WANT TO DO IT.

"We must be going right, Mr. Quinones?" Louie nudged to me.

"Oh right... follow me... we'll discuss it in my quarters.." I said to Louie...
