Hi! Just a author note. You know, everyone does one. So, This is just a little note about the story but their's no spoilers so feel free to look at it!
Number 1. If you like fantasy you came to the right place! I love fantasy! I always have. I got my interest in fantasy by reading a novel genre of it. I was so in it, I decided to make a fantasy story! That's how I got this idea.
Number 2: Romance. Well, I don't know that much about romance but I will try my best. I think it's a little hard.
3. Long chapters. I don't actually make long chapters but I will make it go over 300 words. When I got some advice from the "Book Of Authors" I couldn't believe what I was seeing! They said each chapter in a novel has to be at least over 1,000 words. I was like: No can do.

Romance is a very popular genre in Webnovels. The first thing that come to mind when we talk about romance are the CEO novels. Even though we don't want to admit it, they are the mainstream romance stories in the Webnovel website.

Elyon knew that "Romance" is not his strong point. He writes a fantasy story with romance, but he can't tell if the romance will be able to attract female readers. Out of curiosity, he asked some of his fellow authors the question "Why do you read romance stories?"

Here are their answers…

Kyosei: Because I am single. 

Reili: To fill my empty void of a love life.

Minrei: Because romance let you feel what is to be loved, plus it is universal you dont need to learn magic or cultivation in order to read.

Bajj: Due to lack of romance irl.

Murakami: I read because I enjoy the friction and conflict between the FL and ML. The insistence vs resistance is naisu.

Qin: I reads romance only for ideas and info.

VlassisBehrakis: I don't read romance novels.

Elyon then  ̶a̶m̶b̶u̶s̶h̶e̶d̶ asked some readers about their opinion about romance novels.

Yin: I read romance novels because I want that kind of drama to happen to me in real life. But I know it will never happen haha.

A Certain Irresistible Meowlin: I wonder why? And I do read romance novels. Though the chance of me dropping them is also the highest out of all the genres. Every so often I come across a scene that makes me just want to squeal and fangirl.

Elyon decided to dig deeper and asked a few of his senior "romance authors" some questions about their reason for writing romance stories.

The first question is… Why did you choose to write Romance Stories?

Anjeeriku: I'm comfortable writing romance stories compared to other genres. I'm a helpless romantic person and I like novels that can invoke other people's feelings.

Bajj: First of all, I like reading romance story. It was the reason why I read books before and reading other genres comes after. All in all, due to these romance fiction books, I got the opportunity to read more great books with different genre.

MishaK: That's what I read, so write that too.

Zehell2218: Because as reader, I want to read romance novel so when I write, I write romance since my motto is I write what I want to read.

Ikazainudin: The easiest genre. Everyone can relate.

End_of_Era: It wasn't a full on Romance, it was slice of life with romance which I feel was necessary with progression of the characters.

The second question… When you were making your ML and FL, did you imagine yourself as the lead of your story at any given point in time?

Anjeeriku: I would be a liar if I said no. There were instances that I'd put myself in my FL's shoes. Whenever that happens, my writing feels more passionate and truthful that sometimes it was hard to know where my fl starts and where I end. 

Shen Yi, LMD's ML was based on a person I've lost, The One That Got Away so it was sometimes hard not to self-insert whenever there were scenes that need to invoke feelings from readers. 

Bajj: I believe that every character the author was making and breathing life into it, a part of him/her is added to its character. But me imagining of being the ML/FL, never. I'm too pure for that. Kek

MishaK: Yes I did but sometimes. Otherwise you can't infuse emotions in your characters. It is important to understand your characters.

Zehell2218: Yes, I imagine myself as the lead. Of course, I tweak it a bit, such as in age and appearance. But mostly, the characteristics is similar to me.

Ikazainudin: FL and ML character based on what I want to be irl. Yup. I imagine that will be my love story.

End_of_Era: Yes, my leads had some ocassional self insertion.

The third question… If you were to choose some other genre aside from romance, what would you pick?

Anjeeriku: Fantasy. I always look up to those authors who can write fantasy stories/novels well. I believe writing a fantasy novel is harder than writing romance.

Let's just say that it's a unique way to see a world in the eye of a lady (if you are a man of course). When done properly, the execution of the story can capture the hearts of anyone, even male readers. I believe that no matter what gender you are, as long as you find the story interesting then it doesn't matter whether you are a guy or a gal no?

Perhaps, when I'm not too busy to write my stories, I'll once again pick a romance novel to read. Hopefully, I will find another hidden gem that will bring unexpected surprises to anyone who are lucky enough to find them.

Have you ever heard the saying: a shrimp that goes to sleep gets swept away by the current?
Well, it is very accurate for my terrible circumstance. As it turns out; while I try to narrate this diary as best I can, the devil has put his flames into action to keep his Lucite from boiling over in another oven. Yes, I pay the broken dishes because of a "jealous boy".
The guy couldn't think of a better way to control- how to say it?- the intensity of his beloved than to take advantage of the most vulnerable moment to attack her. When she began to remember the pleasant moments with little Alexis, the demon made his flames numb the part of Luz's brain that processes fear. Maybe that's why, now and as always, she only wants to sleep forever and dream with magic. Humans say it's a symptom of depression, but I think it means the need for a change.
Anyway, how is the devil so brazen as to try to convince me that he loves her; if he's afraid she's going to take up with someone else and their love story will disappear forever?
Their story could come to nothing and, as volatile as one is in adolescence, I understand his concern but I don't share it... if there is mistrust, it is not love.
Now more than ever I promise to narrate in the way that bothers you the most.
Continuing with my torture:
When one fears nothing, one lets things pass just like that; as if this world were all rosy and danger were something imaginary. The demon "knocked out" her fears and put him in "lazy bear" mode. With her guard down, like any coward, he let his flames penetrate beyond the norm. And I say it with all its letters, because he has practically tied the hands of his beloved.
How can I explain the shame that this demon represents for beings of non-human origin?
You see, as I have said before, he has her hands tied because his flames have invaded her left hemisphere. This hemisphere controls everything on the right side of the human body. So he also controls his girl's right hand... the hand of the present.
The consequences would be the best in Luz's eyes, but she does not know what it means. Now she will no longer live a fantasy love; a love based on something that she will never be able to prove that it exists in reality, but a fantasy love... she will be able to see her dreams in reality.

It is impossible for that to happen immediately; that is why he is satisfied that there is something to guide her to the answer.
And who is the only one with rationality in this parody of paranormal romance?
Obviously, I'm the only one who understands teenagers because I have a lot of teenage mouse souls in my tummy. I don't tie them up, I let them be free in their paradise, which costs me a lot of exercise.
The demon used some necromancy trick or something similar to that; so that the lines that press Luz's skin sing little sounds that she will never be able to hear. Every time her skin vibrates, trembles, writhes for better or for worse; she won't understand it, but a meowing cat will come to her mind, which will be a sensual symbol for her skin. This means that it is up to me to make her feel "woman" and what is the bridge between Luz and I... the damned demon.

Let's remember that Luz is in the forest to think how to convince her father not to make a scandal. Her only company is the dark, starless sky. For her this solitary environment is necessary if she wants to concentrate; because Luz has always been hopelessly distracted. If you don't believe me, just ask the little bee that is about to sting her on the tip of her nose.

Sure, I make her look like a typical fairy tale witch and that's it. What an easy way out for a demon who must have something special for Lucifer to be so interested in his love story.

Luz as a child always looked for stories where the protagonist would fly with the Pegasus and they would be friends for eternity. From this reverie she is taken away by the meowing of a cat of my own species. It is more than obvious that the demon must have offered her a feast; in exchange for her appearance in the forest, so that the sensual perspective she has regarding cats in renewed in Luz.
Before she dared to enter the forest, she only saw the few trees in the neighborhood. She admired the cats that with great agility went from one roof to another. Luz, as she grew up and learned new concepts, began to associate cats with something sexy and imagined them doing a Strep tease in the trees. For her, cats are the exotic dancers of nature and; the devil has taken it upon himself to renew her memory of that concept with a compatriot identical to me.
The cat is gray-furred with coal-black eyes. He fearlessly climbs, unlike many of my kind, trees. Apparently he is not afraid heights, just like me. But Luz was sick of imagining others doing what she wanted to do. It's not that she wanted to be an exotic dancer, she just wants to feel sexy and doesn't know how.
Humans are bound by blood, because in it lies the inheritance that predisposes them to certain things. This explodes in adolescence, at this stage is where you most realize that your essence suffers. I think that's why the hormones at that age are in turmoil. It is the skin where the essence shows its conflict, the skin is the rope of the essence and the fingers are the ones that make the knot or release it. That's why the fingers of Luz are my blood, because I represent her sexuality and she decides whether to let it emerge or not. Blood is the rope of the soul as skin is the rope of the essence (essence and soul are two different things).
My soul is subject to the desires of an adolescent heart and so the protagonist Luz is subject to Lucifer and the devil.
"The demon killed two birds with one stone"
For me it is curious to think that, according to the demon, she does not like cats while dogs do, but she finds us cats very sexy. Dogs are good because they are adorable and we cats are bad because we are sexy but she wants to be sexy.
What kind of contradiction does this girl have in her head?
I'd better get down to business:
Luz looked at the cat and thought of a very sexy bad boy like the hunks in her romance books. She used to like fantasy books; now she preferred teen romance books instead. She laughs to herself, at the thought that this cat has come to seduce her. Especially when the cat walks along the branch with its slender figure. His eyes are so fixed on her that she gets a strange feeling. 
When the cat raises its jaw, Luz thinks she sees an Adam's apple on it's neck. 
"Remember, in the dark lions look like ducks, the darkness distorts everything"
She stops looking at the cat and closes her eyes to enter the only darkness she can control, her own.
"Adam's apple, a Pegasus and a gray cat. Yes, they will be the main characters in the fantasy that tells me what to do with my dad. I must believe that everything that is done with a human heart, reaches another heart to make it more human".
Who knew Lucifer liked good night stories for rebellious children?
Of course, only his parents know that (if he has any).

Once upon a time there was a cute kitten who became a hero when he decided to offer his belly as heaven to the abused and despised souls of millions of mice in the world. But since there is a great hero, there must be an illustrious villain who stands up to him: Lucifer.

I am the cute kitten and I am doomed to be the babysitter of a demon in love ... Lucifer's inescapable orders.

I also have to channel confused souls, in the midst of their stagnant rebellion, towards the vile temptation to be the protagonists of a romance sponsored by Satan.

Reading and connecting with a character with personality can lead you to live his life between the pages ...Would you dare to feel the fire of the demon as if it were magic?

Of course, in order to attract you to this game of seduction I must put the cards on the table:

A girl with hellishly adolescent whips. Beats that led her to a promise that would condemn her to cross her path with that of a demon too handsome to see past her blue eyes.

Now that same demon does not know if heaven was worth his betrayal of Lucifer ... now he is without heaven and without the melodies of the heart of his sweet girl.

"Sweet girl of mine ... mine ... only mine"

And it must continue like this, because otherwise, the diary of a girl's fantastic heart will be incomplete. ... or not?

Maybe the sexy side of magic speaks for all of our demons.

Look, I wasn't planning on posting this but here we go. I've always found it ever so slightly troublesome that the only genres under female lead are: Urban, History, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Teen, and LGBTQ+. 
While on the other hand, the genres under male lead are: Urban, Fantasy, History, Horror, Sci-Fi, Sports, and Games. 
Why is there even a difference in the first place regarding genres for each lead? And get this, Urban female lead displays as Contemporary Romance, History female lead displays Historical Romance, Fantasy displays as Fantasy Romance, Sci-Fi turns into Sci-Fi romance, and Teen stays teen which is good and so does LGBTQ+. 
This begs the question to me of why a history genre with a female lead HAS to have romance? Why does a fantasy story with a female lead HAS to have romance? It doesn't make any sense to me as to why it's required. 
For another thing, take a look at the male lead side of things. They have extra genres like Horror, Sports, and Games. For some reason, LGBTQ+ has completely disappeared. This has made me run into issues where my story, Nights Like These, has a female lead and is a horror story. It makes no sense at all.
Anyways, I digress. Back to the main point. Urban for male lead displays as Magical Realism, Fantasy displays as Fantasy, History displays as History, Horror displays as Horror, Sci-Fi displays as Sci-Fi, Sports displays as Competitive Sports, and Games displays as Video Games. 
Uh, what? Nothing of that makes any sense to me - they don't even have anything romance-related! Why is there a huge difference between the possible genres for female leads and male leads? It doesn't make sense. 
Why can't a romance story be told from the perspective of the guy? Why does every genre girl related have to involve romance? Why can't the genres for sports, horror and games be for female leads as well? Why is LGBTQ+ only limited to female leads? 
My brain is getting fried from thinking about it all. 
As my last point, I'll be sure to create a male lead romance. Mark my words.
