Sent to the Violet Museum, the both of us are. Due to a holiday, the museum is closed to the public, therefore not a single employee or guard will be lurking inside and outside of the museum. The only thing me and Virgo must do is to surpass the security mechanism of the vicinity.
In a steady and cautious pace, the two of us entered from the back of the vicinity, knocking down the back doors. We are in touch with professor Olive since she is responsible for disabling the CCTV cameras which are on a recording state since it is a holiday and no will be around to watch the monitors.
Upon entering the museum, we wait for the professor's signal. It took about ten seconds for Olive to deactivate all the security mechanisms of the vicinity. This includes bars, locks, CCTV cameras, monitors, and tripwire hooks. I am surprised, she surpasses Charlotte when it comes to hacking skills.
"Go! Good luck Team Rocket!" Through an earbud, professor Olive finally gives the go signal, saying everything has finally been disabled. She then disconnects from our communication system in order to continue with her other tasks. As for us, we proceed to our heist.
Even with everything disabled, we persisted to walk in a cautious and smooth pace. With no one looking or staring at us, stealing the book will be a breeze. Its location is quite obvious since it is only located in the center of the museum. As we walk closer to the book, our eyes marveled upon the structures and pillars, giving an ancient appeal.
Hanging above us are large fossils of Pokemons that once roamed our land. One of them is familiar to me, Aerodactyl. The fossil Pokemon who falls under the ownership of the dragon master, Lance. That reminds me, what could the elite four be up to this time?
Anyways, back to the heist. As we walk, Virgo's attention is grabbed by the library section located on the east of the museum. Books, stacked in rows and columns, shelves each separated for a genre, with tables in order to rest your tired feet. This is truly attention-grabbing for bookworms like Virgo. However, with all my best I try to convince her to focus on our current mission.
If there is a library, there is also an art section. How, I wish to take a closer look at such fine artistry. The paintings were painted during the golden eras of Johto. Its beauty captures one's heart, bringing joy and content. If only if I have the time, I'd spend it on drawing again. Come to think of it, the artists of the past are more creative than the ones today due to the lack of inspiration.
Me? The park inspires me so it's not kind of a big deal to me when there are multiple Pokemons to draw. In return to me being attracted, Virgo persuades me to focus on the current mission.
Truly, this museum contains both of our hobbies, reading, and artistry. Someday, I'll visit the Violet Museum to spend all my time, glancing at priceless paintings while Virgo reads a dozen enthusiastic novels of her favorite genre.
Back to the book, it is placed on top of a wooden lectern, coated in brown. Coincidently, the sun's light directly points at the book, giving it a glorious appeal. The professor is right, it has a fancy velvet color with no title at all. Suspicious it is, for this is my first time to see a book without a title.
Virgo makes the first move. Unable to control herself, she jolts to the book, flipping the pages and reading it with her eyes. Just from the first page, Virgo is left in complete shock. With her eyes-wide-open, she asks me to take a closer look.
"What the?!" I exclaim, seeing a page with no words. I flip to the second, the third, then the fourth, everything remained blank. A book's purpose is somehow not present in this "book". It does not have what readers search for, the artistry found in words.
Although it may be blank, at the center of the book lies a page like no other. Painted in gold the page is, bearing a magnificent illustration of the wings. On the left is the dazzling rainbow wing and on my right is the shining silver wing. Virgo then twitches her glasses, and begins to read the small notes.
"Only the heart of gold and the soul of silver shall be worthy of the wings. If it falls under the palm of evil, it shall turn to black, withered and decayed." Virgo reads carefully.
"I guess we just need to tear the page in order to steal it right?" I suggest.
"Perhaps." Virgo concurs.
After enough thinking, I volunteer to rip off the page. Taking the whole book rather than ripping off the page we need would only raise our suspicion. My hands are currently on the page of the book, when suddenly something from behind us interrupts. We look the ceilings, and there we saw the ceiling made out glass, shattering into fragments as ropes from the skies begin to descend.
We then hear the laughter of people, somewhat descending from the skies. For us, it seems to be gobbledygook since we wonder where the ropes are attached too. Little do the two of us know that we're held captive by those who control and roam the skies of Johto, the pirate of the skies, the Rebirth Society.

All I wanted is to have a typical life, a life with no burden nor struggle. A life where someone appreciates my existence. Why did my desire for a blissful life bring me down this path? My body is filled with thorns as I walk to a path which I could not stray from. What have I done to deserve this? Why did they abandon me? Why am I shrouded with the hands of lie and fear? All I wanted is to live a life where no one mocks the burdens I bear. Is that too much to ask for? 

I am Luna Evergreen, a name feared by many, a name mocked by everyone. Let them shroud their eyes with the terror I hold upon, let the trumpets roar my name. Let those who oppose me live to regret their decision! To infect the world with devastation, that is the purpose set upon me. Blast off to the speed of light, surrender now or you'll surely lose the fight.

BLAST OFF!

I was arranging the new books on the shelves when my phone beeped. 

Hey baby, just arrived at my office. Miss you already. (Nate)

I was smiling wide and replied to him right away.

Hey you! Miss U too. I'm at Novelty, it's a slow day. Boring. (Marissa)

It was boring, and without him to look forward to at the end of the day, I would be back to my routine. At least I got time to catch up on my romance novels. I had finished arranging the books, so I started reading on my Kindle while waiting on the store.

Then another text came in.

Boring is good. I'll call you tonight baby. Wear something sexy. (Nate)

I replied that same moment.

Sexy for sure. Boring is not good. I miss u! #pouting (Marissa)

I smile seeing his name calling me. 

"Baby, I'll be seeing you tonight, it's just for a couple of days. Stop being a brat, or are you doing this on purpose for your punishment? mmh?..."

"Nate...maybe, but I do miss you. Would you call me this afternoon after work? I don't have anyone to hangout with after work. Except maybe Matt, but..."

"I would really like you not to hangout with him. Though it's not my place yet, but I will definately reward you if you didn't. I will try and make time to call you after work just before my other meeting okay?"

"Okay, I guess I'll be catching up on my reads then. See you later...." We hangup after we said our goodbyes.

The afternoon passed by excruciatingly slow. I was mostly day dreaming while holding on to my Kindle.

Then the lady from the cake store entered. "Afternoon, oh my...this is a very nice place. I'm Alicia Griffin from Sugar. I had an appointment with Archibald Michaels?" She gave me her sweetest smile. 

"Hi Mrs. Griffin. I'm Marissa. Let me give him a call. Would you like some tea while you wait?" I asked her, while ushering her to a seating area. 

"Call me Alice dear, and Griffin is my maiden name.. I'm single by choice. you've been to the shop already right? sorry about the penises." She laughed as I was blushing at her. 

My god this woman. 

I smiled back at her and was about to call Archie, but he was already at the door, pacing his steps quickly. "Marissa, the lady from the cake shop....oh hey there. Sorry I'm a bit late. I'm Archibald Michaels, call me Archie.... They introduced each other as I went to the back and prepared them some tea.

I came back minutes later, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them flirting with each other. 

What happen to the ten minutes after introduction? They sure as hell move fast. Archie was holding her hand as she furiously gave him some sexy winks and smirks. 

Damn! I was definately behind her in flirting lessons.

She should teach me some moves, all I could do was blush. I walked to their direction and coughed intentionally letting them know of my arrival. 

"Ah Marissa come sit here kid, now...Alice, this lovely young woman here was the one that shoved the idea into my head. She told me she love your cake and we should negotiate on pricing." Archie was looking proud at me, again all I could do was blush a deeper shade of red. 

Damn! 

I smiled awkwardly at her. "Sorry, I'm not used to being called on."

"Ah...Archie, you have a shy one here. But I thought I saw you with your dashing young man the other day. You can't be that shy then. Come, sit with us. I'll let you pitch your ideas. And see what we could do with the pricing and the type of menu you intend on serving here." She patted the chair next to her. 

I sat down and blurted out my ideas. My notes were given out to be evaluated, it was like talking to my teachers. They were full on listening to me babbling about the menu and pricing. I did my research, well I just Googled it actually but they were gulping down my ideas enthusiastically, I was feeling proud of myself. 

We talked more for another hour until Archie told me to head on home, that he would close up the store later. But I had a feeling he wanted some alone time with Alice. 

Damn he's smooth...

So, I head on back to my place, and took a quick stop to buy some groceries on the way back. It was still four in the afternoon the air was nice and warm, so I decided to put on my bikini, then bring my coffee and Kindle, and towels to relax on the beach while catching the afternoon air.

I decided to teased Nate and took a sexy selfie and send it to him. Then I put the phone on mute and ignored him for awhile as I was finishing off on my sexy book.

The sun was setting when I decided to go back to the cottage and took a shower. I was putting all my things on the kitchen counter when I remembered about my phone that was muted. I was so relaxed and drifted away in my book that I completely forgot about Nate. 

I smiled and opened my phone. There were six messages and four missed calls. Then a call came through. It was Nate, I was grinning when I picked it up.

"Marissa? Where are you?! Are you okay?! Why aren't you replying to your text and picking up your phone. Did you know how worried I am?!!" His voice was elevated and firm at the end. It made me instantly wet. 

What the fuck is wrong with me? 

"Baby? Answer me?" He asked again, softly this time. 

"Em...yeah, I'm back at the cottage. Sorry, I muted the phone I was reading my book." My voice sounded croaked, I was horny and was trying to hide it from him. But my breathing was heavy, he could definately hear it.

"Marissa? Are you actually horny hearing how I was truly worried about you? Baby...answer me!"

"Ye...yeah, I think there's something wrong with me Nate. I don't think it's normal for a virgin to feel like this. I should definitely Google this." I could hear him chuckled on the other line. 

"Tell me little one, what are you feeling right now? Honestly baby..." He asked me with his deep sexy voice making me moaned, and he definately heard that one.

"Well...ermm I'm horny, I think I'm wet from all your harsh and demanding questions earlier." I answered meekly to him.

"I really need to know if you're really wet Marissa, slid your fingers under your bikini baby. And snap a picture and send it to me. Now little one. I'll be waiting." Then he hung up on me. I did as he tells me to do. Then he called me again seconds after I sent him my proof of arousal. 

"Damn it baby, you are so fucking perfect. I would like to lick you right now. But first I want you to play with yourself in the bathroom just before you take a shower, I want you to edge yourself and not let yourself come. Can you do that for me baby? I want to see you come tonight on our video call. I have another meeting in fifteen minutes and I'm already half stiff. I really need to calm myself down before the meeting. But I want you to have a little fun. I will see you at eight tonight okay?"

"Okay..." That was all I managed to say. My breath was hitched and he was definitely hearing it as he groaned on the other line.

"Don't make me spread your legs roughly little one. Keep them open for me, you want this right? Tell me if you want to stop okay?" He asked with his sexy voice, I was nodding my reply.

Sarah's mother raised her voice out loud saying. "What is going on in there Jonathan you better be not or overreacting to what Sarah's doing!?" As she boils a small pot of vegetable.
Jonathan responded as he puts on his snow boots, coat and Gloves so he can give Sarah's scarf.
"I'm not overreacting I'm just being cautious for our little girl I don't want her to get sick during the midst of this winter season." As he raises his voice back to his wife. 
Has been done Jonathan sees Sarah scarf hanging on the coat rack on the wall by the front door and so Jonathan grabs the scarf then head backdoor. As Jonathan dash is out through the door and into the cold frosty snow he said over and over is it piles up from the ground to the sky up.
Meanwhile Sarah made it from her home backyard through the small nearby forest and to her Friends backyard, that is covered in snow. Serious hops up and shout out to her friends window by saying.
"HELENNNNNAAAAA, IT'S SNOWING ... WAKE UP!!!" 

That's out there in one minute, Sarah's friend Helena, opens her Window said.
"What the hell come on Sarah do you really need to ... Woow!?"
Alina was surprised that she sees falling snow that's cover covers her backyard and see if that Sarah her best friend is shouting to her through her bedroom window to call for her that it's snowing.
And so I got ready to play in the snow, Sarah stands outside in the cold Snow, Rubbing her hands together from threw her mittens, then she realize that she's not Wearing her Amber color scarf, That's her mother got her for the Beginning winter Holiday. Until Jonathan appeared in the nearby forest towards her house and call's out to Sarah.
"Sarah, you forgot your scarf." Said Jonathan as he slows down and walk towards Sarah.
 Sarah noticed your father and said. " Oh hi papa ... (as she waves her I say hello torture her father is direction), What are you doing here, at Helena's house!?"
Jonathan walk towards Sarah, as he stands in front of her he wraparound her bright Amber colored scarf gently around her neck.
 "I'm here so I can give you your gift back that mom works so hard to give you. So don't forget it."
Said Jonathan as he pats Sarah shoulder with a smile.
" i'm sorry papa, I won't forget next time."
Said Sarah as she smiled happily.
"All right then, I just wanted you to stay warm and stay safe okay ... and come back before lunch Mommies almost done with lunch."
 Said Jonathan in a strict turn of voice, as He walks off towards back to the house.

And has the snow continues Falling Sarah now feels truly warm, cozy, and safe As she wears her Amber color scarf that was given to her From her mother.
Sarah turns back to her friend Helenas House to see if she is leaving soon. But at Sarah surprise, Helena Didn't exit or come out of the house and Sarah just stand there with The warmth Oh for scarf As snowflakes fall. Till a little bit later the back door peeks open A little bit. Shows eyes widened in Surprise, then the door open fully wide as Helena steps out and her warm winter clothes.
Helena hops out of her house and down to the doorstep in front of her backdoor, then hopped Again into the Freezing snow that piles largely from the ground up. Gasolina lays in the deep snow she wins both of her arms and legs Until she's Created a snow angel and she got back on her feet. Sarah Race up to Helena and hug her with a smile of enjoy.And so Sarah and Helena talked and argued to what they should do since it's snowing. They decided to build a snowman first, then to make a small snow fort behind the snowman so it looks like a guard installed a dash to the forest to build a snowman.

Meanwhile.
Jonathan came back to the house as he enters, he slips his boots off. Then one by one pile of each one on his socks and leave them on the sides on his large Leather boots and he hang up his coat on the coat rack and walk to the living room. And to see a beautiful lady In blonde hair, Laying on The long three seated couch, reading a hard cover novel called. "Falling White rose petals." As the lady giggled and blushes as she reads the romantic, erotic novel, Jonathan covers her eyes with his hands.
" Oh come on, am I not enough for you (chuckled) honey."
Send Jonathan in a joyful tone of speech
She chuckle as well and said.
"Oh please you're more than enough, this is just Aimee's i'm just Borrowing it because she said it's exciting book and she said it will help Spice our nights up When Sarah asleep."
As she is in a neon bright green nightgown.
"Oh really ... then ... let me see."
Said Jonathan as comes in for a kiss and snatches the book from out of her hands.
Jonathan reads the novel out loud as he walk away From his wife and as he wins the first two paragraphs of the novel, Jonathan's eyes widened and surprise the Erotic details of the book that his wife is reading and Also surprise that she is even into what the book is detailing.

" Oh my...Oh wow...That heavily detailed...here sorry Crystal."
Said Jonathan as he closes and toss it in the novel back to his wife Crystal.
Crystal catches the novel, and holds it to her chest and she holds it she blush and chuckles responds by saying.
"Jonathan, are you jealous."
Then Johnson blushed and Responded by saying.
"Well nomI'm just worried that you are Getting tired of me, that's all sorry."
Said Johnson in a Turn shy turn of voice.
Crystal giggled by saying. " you are jealous."
"OK fine maybe I am still."
Crystal giggled In both a nervous and silly Manner. As then she times the normal to the couch and slowly walked towards her husband Jonathan, and she remembered correctly that it was 10 years ago that she fell in love for him back in the war of the gate, during the battle of the Nie Lake, Back in the land of the Scorch and Dunes.

A couple of days have passed since our triple with Lucy and Rosa.
Today is the birthday of Alexas and Alexa. Ray had breakfast as usual and went to their house to give presents. He had breakfast as usual and went to their house to give presents. After that, he took the spellbook for Alex and went to the workshop to take the pendant, he was lying there. Having packed them in a bag, Ray went to their home. Going to the door he knocked, from the door he heard Alexa go meet the guests. She opened the door and saw him, Ray smiled and said.

It was customary to celebrate the 16th birthday only with close relatives and good friends of the family. Ray did not fall into this circle, so he was not going to linger for a long time. He went in and greeted the guests of which there were quite a few, they were dressed pretty well, some of the guests were dressed in clothes of the level that Lucy brought with her from the capital. Soon, Alexa came up and brought her brother with her. Alex greeted him, Ray answered him the same, and after he got his presents out of the bag and began to congratulate them.
-Alex and Alexa, I congratulate you on this wonderful holiday, on this day you have become adults and now you can embark on the path that you choose. Alex, this book, spells E and F rank. She will help you on the path to becoming a magician and help you learn magic to protect your sister. Alexa, my father helped me make this pendant, but I tried and helped him with all my strength, when we trained with you, you lacked such an item, I think you will find it useful.
After he handed over the gifts, Alexa and Alex thanked him, he told her to pour mana into the pendant. She did so, and a bluish magic barrier appeared around her. Alexa was surprised and said.
-Wow, this is the magic of the barrier.
-Yes it is a pendant with a magic barrier. Although not very cobbled, at the beginning of the path of the magician it will be useful, especially if you meet a melee opponent.

-I think you should not distract you from the celebration, I was only going to give you gifts. Let's drink a glass and I'll go.
-Yeah, good. Now I will bring glasses and wine. Said Alexa.
While Alexa walked away, Ray decided to find out how new workouts were progressing, with Alex.

Alex poured us wine, they drank a glass, and Ray decided to leave. he told them he should go and left.
Ray left and went home, thinking about Alex's situation, he decided to go to dad and thank him for everything he does.
He came home, went to his father, he was, as usual, busy reading something there. Ray turned to him.
-Dad I came, they really liked the gifts.
-Well, of course I liked it. Still would.
-Ha ha dad, actually I didn't come to say that. I thank you for everything that you do and will do for me, I am very grateful to you.
-Yes, great, I'm glad that you understand that my mom and I will try to help you on your way. You're already an adult, so I'll add that I won't get into your business if you don't ask, and you mother won't either, unless of course it concerns the wedding, ha ha.
-Ha ha, thanks dad, okay, I'm going to train.

Surviving after the fall of humanity. The man known as the Black Seraph was thrust into the past and given one opportunity to change fate.

But people do not change overnight, and Seraph must find a new path forward and learn there's more to power than being a tyrant if humanity is to survive the Genesis Game.

It's here, that damn shitty engagement proposal is here. Damn it I knew it was created when we were just babies but did it have to come so early? I haven't made any preparation to counter this, ah I really will have to wing it won't I?

Our family is just catching up on the news as we have just returned from a small trip. Our first family vacation! Let's recap, it was nothing too far, just further south down the coast of the territory for winter. Of course, the Ventrellas would have multiple properties, including a beach house. Well, it's more appropriate to call it a manor. Definitely not as large as our home but substantially wealthy compared to what I'm used to in my world.  

While our mansion isn't too far from the sea either, it was fun to go somewhere else from home too. It was a week-long journey by enchanted carriage, the best money could buy. It wasn't smooth sailing but it was much better than a regular carriage, it's absolutely necessary with my motion sickness. 

With the carriages enchanted for stability, unnatural lightness and comfort the beast mixed horses could travel speedily. I'd say it wouldn't lose out to a standard car's speed traveling on the open road, like an RV trip! Of course, these speeds are only possible with this combination of money, connections and carefully controlled magic monster mix of this world. Most people, nobles included, wouldn't be able to enjoy such privileges even with a lot of money. 

It's a nice perk I have no control of and might as well take advantage of. 

While mother, Lilyanne and I relax and sightsee on the way, father went ahead with his attendants to examine the territory. He would meet up with us on certain points and nights but arranged so that he would arrive at the vacation home first to prepare for our arrival. Even on vacation, he manages to fit so much work in. It's much more economical that way.

While winter is not the most active season outside of the holidays and new years, father has no shortage of work to see to. It's all administrative and winter is a good catch up paperwork season. It's also appropriate enough time to see the land and people when they're hunkering down for the winter months. The stocks and storage are filled and accounted for and the various village and town leaders have free time. It's also good timing for communities to request aid or specific orders before winter hits and to prepare for the planting season. 

Of course, we have many capable employees to communicate and do that for us but it's good to have direct experience with the people. It's based on Grampa's humble beginnings and something that Father quite enjoys after marrying over. Like a rich sheltered prissy boy fascinated with normal things, common people take for granted. Oi, my idiotic parents' marriage is beginning to make a lot more sense now that I think about it like that.

Grampa did not join us, he's not even in the territory I'm sure. Left a few months ago on another adventure. 

Part of his excuse was to go contact some capable old fried about finding instructors for Lilyanne and I but the truth that everyone knows and accepts is that the man just has a serious case of wanderlust. 

He just has to go.

 It's already remarkable he stayed put so long around the mansion but that's only because we were born. The special circumstance of mother getting pregnant and giving birth for the first time, paired with our attempted kidnapping kept him here for nearly 3 years straight. Isn't that a record for him? I'm sure plenty of people are counting.  He needs to be off on adventures, racking up crazy stories, and meeting up friends, both old a new. While his favorite haunt is up north with that stupid prince's elf uncle, no one really knows where he could be at any given time.

In short, he's a great and charismatic general, an even better hero, and a god awful nobleman. No sense of responsibility or follow up. The servants all laugh about how the administrative and management department people all wept tears of joy and praised the Goddess for days on end when father first accepted to be married over. 

Something tells me it's no joke.

I would have preferred to go along with him but there's no way mother or the maids would have allowed it, I'm still deemed too young. And it's not like I could just sneak on a stowaway, trust me I tried. Got caught and dragged back by Mrs. Gerda astonishingly quick, even after the horses left. She's been terribly strict on me to and fro this trip, I've had next to no chances to sneak out!

Thank you, Ms. Gerda, but this is far too much attention. Well, it's not like I don't give her reasons to be vigilant... I've only accidentally set one fire but still.

Oh well, it can't be helped, next time then.

And so we had a lovely family trip by the southern seaside and even passed our second birthday safely there. Even though it was winter, there were many warm sunny days especially early on in the trip. While the seaside near our home was large, it was essentially a port.  It has many rocky cliffs overlooking the gorgeous view below but it was still a strategically planned port with a naturally forming bay. I like our local port, it has a lot of potential for trade and commerce there. 

But the vacation house is a proper beach all with classic crashing waves and warm golden white sand. 

Sand that Lilyanne spent most of her time making sand....sculptures. Sure let's call them that. I tried to get her to splash in the water more or climb up some rocks to look at tide pools. While I got her to do a few more activities it was mostly foiled due to her own fear or the maids' fussiness, probably both. Well, she caught a few colds, nothing serious but it was probably for the best for her to take it easier. 

Still it was fun to play like a normal child with no worries.

My favorite though had to be our visits to the surrounding town. It was a beautiful place right out of a travel brochure, with all wide white stone walls, blue roofs, and twisting seashells encrusted decor everywhere. When Lilyanne was feeling under the weather I was surprisingly allowed to tag along with father more often on his work there. He's a competent man when he's not using his foul mouth offending people. It was even oddly pleasant to spend time outside following his work.

Sometime we would even go down together as a family for meals or during holiday markets. 

It was all that one would consider an ideal family vacation.

Maybe it's due to tagging along with the kidnapping attempt or my own more active initiative but isn't my relationship with my parents, especially father, progressing much smoother than last time around? 

Interesting, I don't expect it change much but I would like to see how it goes. 

Which bring us to this point, where our capable head butler Alfonso, whose been handling matters since we've been gone. He reads us the breaking news of the proposal report.

"A marriage! This early? Frederick darling I know I'm not as practically well versed in such matters but don't tell me it's normal for nobles to be arranging children so soon?"

"Unless arranged by families far prior to birth, yes this is rather too soon."

"Oh we must reject it, or at least stall it. It's far too early for this nonsense."

"Maria my love I agree with you with all my heart but unfortunately the matter isn't that simple. It's regarding the royal family of the North."

"I know, oh I know. Oh, where is papa when you need him?"

"My Lord and Lady, I've  already taken the liberty of contacting the old master's contacts and count Urderidge in getting the word to him."

"Oh thank you Alfonso, you always know what to do. Uncle Geoff will most certainly be a help until papa comes back."

"It would be best to discuss the terms in person. The annual spring conference will be held in a month in the midway land and we're invited to stay in their private residence during and after. They're requesting we bring both the children, to let them and their son get to know each other."

"You mean pick and choose between our girls like they're calves to slaughter at the market. Oh, Frederick, I don't like this one bit"

"It's just a meeting my lady, surely more will be resolved with time."

"They're just too small be rolled up onto politics, oh they couldn't. And travelling again? We just got back. Lilyanne hardly just recovered from her last bout of illness and we're taking her to where it's even colder and harsher?!"

There it is, the shift in her eyes. There's something about the way mother looks at Lilyanne, to me, then back again. It's something I've been long expecting, something Rosalia doesn't really need to see but should. It's the moment where mother weighs us and chooses in her heart, though she'll never admit it out loud, which child to let go of.

The choice is obvious. Somethings really can't be changed.

I'm getting sold off again.

You've probably heard this sort of story before.

 

Once upon a time, blah blah blah a boy and a girl fell love and everything was beautiful and perfect, except for this thing called life getting in their way. 

He was this cool foreign prince and she was basically perfect. Really it's a very boring run of the mill story. I'll even spoil it for you, they kill the villainess at the end.

Not the type of story I'd read personally.


So where do I fit into this?

Apparently I'm her older twin sister and the very very lucky fiance to the foreign prince. You know, the dead villainess? Sucks I know. 

Now I get to do it all over again from the beginning.
