Batman and Hawkgirl looked down at the chest Gray was carrying, before looked up with a frown as they gazed into the pitch black eyes of the Pseudo-Servant in front of them.

"Affinity? Catalyst? I believe you neglected to mention such things before we decided to summon a Servant?".

Gray sighed before rubbing his temples. He left his apple in the kitchen and he really wished he had brought it with him.

Pointing to the three objects in the chest below, he spoke with a tone that reminded him of Scathach, as her manner of teaching was a form of teaching that was very much agreeable with the twenty year old.

"When summoning a Servant without a catalyst, the Servant with the most affinity towards is usually summoned. When summoning with a catalyst, you can narrow down the choices of the Servant summoned, to get a more powerful Servant. Any other questions?".

The Flash tilted his head and frowned but couldn't help but ask.

"Wouldn't the Servant with the most affinity you have be the best choice? If you can work with that Servant the best, wouldn't it be the better choice?".

Gray shook his head and summoned the spear of Achilles instead. A wave of Divinity was let out by Gray, and it brushed through the superheroes like a gust of wind.

"Tell me, if you summoned Achilles for example, a hero with near invincibility, do you think he would still be able to fight equally with Ryougi Shiki? A woman who can cut through the unkillable? Who can cut through death?".

The scarlet speedster looked as though he wanted to retort but the memory of the beautiful brunette cutting through Superman's arm came to mind. Even Barry Allen couldn't regenerate from something like that. Especially if Superman could not.

Gray turned towards the three catalysts in the box and spoke. The sword was taken out and placed on one of the circles.

"The Japanese blade is several hundred years old yet it can still cut better than the knives in my kitchen. I've gotten it appraised and they said that it once belonged to a famous samurai, although they couldn't be sure of their identity".
 
He took out the book next, and the faint lettering on the spine read "Doyle", causing Batman's eyes to widen.

"Arthur Conan Doyle? As in Sherlock Holmes? How would he be able to be summoned. He's fictitious. How would-".

"And Chinese Immortals that can walk on clouds and Greek Heroes who legends are still retold today are not? It is not how true the legend is. It is how it affected the minds of humanity, as well as the Mystery behind their legend. In this day and age were Heroes, such as your selves, rely on technology to get things down, even if that technology is so advanced it may appear as magic, you could never ascend to the Throne of Heroes and become Heroic Spirits. Maybe Diana due to her heritage but that's all".

Batman stopped talking and rubbed his chin at Gray's words. 

Throne of Heroes? Heroic Spirits? Mystery? Terms that he had absolutely no idea about, but they filled in parts of the puzzle that was the man in front of them.

If he gave more pieces, they might be able to find out his powers if they were directed at some other mythological Hero.

Gray pointed to the final catalyst in the box, placing it down gently on the final summoning circle.

He spoke,

"This red garment belonged to a famous Chinese Martial Artist. His name was was Li Shuwen, and he was one of the greatest martial artists in history. His prowess with Bājíquán gave him the title of Demon-Fist Master, and his skill with the spear made many call him Divine Spear Li. Using this as a catalyst would almost guarantee him to be summoned. Whether that be as a Lancer or an Assassin that remains to be seen".

Batman raised an eyebrow at Gray's words, and he sighed once more before explaining.

"In a Holy Grail War, there are Seven normal Classes a Servant can be summoned under. Saber, the Servant of the sword. Lancer, the Servant of the spear. Archer, the Servant of the Bow. Rider, the Servant of the mount. Caster, the Servant of sorcery. Assassin, the Servant of killing. And Berserker the Servant of madness. That is the most general explanation on Classes I am willing to give. There are other classes but don't worry about them, if you summon one, they'll most likely kill you before you can get a chance to explain yourselves".

The definitive tone in Gray's voice revealed that he wasn't messing around. The Seven Classes ran through the minds of the League, and Batman and Hawkgirl both looked at each other, communicating through the psychic link.

Gray saw them look at each other and watched as they gradually come to a conclusion as all the present members of the Justice League nodded. 

Hawkgirl stepped forward and picked up the katana while Batman opted to use the the book written by the famous writer, a first edition of a Study in Scarlet.

Gray looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Really? I would've thought you wanted to summon without a catalyst. Can I ask why you chose to do so?".

Batman looked at Gray without any hint of emotion in his voice.

"Just like you, I have absolutely no obligation to tell you my reasoning".

Gray gave the Dark Knight a queer look before nodding his head thoughtfully.

"That's good. You're finally learning".

Much to the ire of the caped crusader Gray stood up and walked away from the catalyst contained the garment of Li Shuwen, causing Kaldur to frown and point to the red robe belonging to the martial artist. A look of confusion was evident on his face.

"Will you not use the catalyst to summon Gray? I thought that-".

Gray gave the Atalantean a smile before shaking his head. Gray pulled out a small piece of paper with a Norse Rune inscribed on it. The quality of the paper was high, indicating that the catalyst was a modern one.

He put the rune in the center of his summoning circle, not caring to look at the annoyed gazes of Batman or Hawkgirl as Gray's catalyst wasn't any of the three that he offered them.

"The thing about Servants is that they need magical power to help sustain them. Despite the Age of the Gods still being around, meaning that the mana in the air is still at a high quality and quantity, you as Masters do not possess the power to sustain Servants with high Mana Parameters. If Diana or Aquaman were Masters, then we might be able to discuss some compensation in exchange for high level catalysts".

Batman looked down at the book and Hawkgirl grasped the handle of the blade tightly as the two accepted Gray's reasoning. Neither had any idea what they were doing. And if Gray decided that he didn't want to help them, there was nothing they could do.

The rune on the center of Gray's piece of paper looked esoteric in the eyes of the Lord of Order. It was just a simple line on a piece of paper, representing "ice" out of all the other Norse Runes, but there was something about it that screamed power.

Traces of Divinity could be felt from the Norse Rune, but Dr Fate couldn't think of what Servant Gray could possibly summon from such a catalyst.

Gray smiled and raised his Command Seals over the summoning circle. Batman and Hawkgirl repeated this action as the rest of the superheroes stood at the side in wait.

"Repeat after me".

The red tattoo on Gray's hand started to glow, and the jewels he had placed around the edges of the circle started to melt, and travel along the lines of chalk that he had created. Batman and Hawkgirl both watched as the jewels did the same on their circles, and watched as their hand glowed with a strange power.

"Let silver and steel be the essence.
"Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation.
"Let white be the color I pay tribute to.
"Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall.
"Let the four cardinal gates close.
"Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate".

A bright red light appeared from the summoning circle beneath the three Masters, and a crackle of red magical power burst out from beneath them. Gray looked at Batman and Hawkgirl, who both nodded for the Pseudo-Servant to continue and he did.

The level of Mystery contained within each of the catalysts bloomed in the circle, and in the eyes of Dr Fate and Zatanna, a doorway was being formed between here, and another dimension, somewhere in the vast multiverse.

"Let it be declared now;
your flesh shall serve under me, and my fate shall be with your sword.
"Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail.
"Answer, if you would submit to this will and this truth"

 The words caused many of the people present to frown but none tried to stop or discourage Gray or their team members. Across the country, several figures perked up and looked in the direction of New York City, all with a smile on their faces.

Even Saber, who was standing beside her Master in Metropolis showed a small smile as she trailed behind her Master in her spirit form. The two red Command Seals on her Masters hand caused the beautiful brunette to frown but she followed her Masters orders.

All Servants knew how to by their time. Even Berserker was not that rash.

"An oath shall be sworn here.
"I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven;
"I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell.

Red colored lightning crackled as it created several scorch marks on Gray's rooftop. The two Green Lanterns created a barrier to block the magical power, but had to keep replacing it in order to stop more cracks from forming.

In the mind of Hawkgirl, an old sounding voice resounded out, and memories of countless battles filled her mind. Through the eyes of a warrior she saw the deaths of her friends and enemies as she continued cutting down all those who opposed her. A single sword slash was all that was needed to kill.

Batman similarly heard the voice of an older man. His thick British accent gave away his origins, but the tone he used was completely unlike the logical and rational reasoning he knew. It was twisted, still emotionless and rational, but the smile behind the glasses sent shivers up the spine of the Dark Knight.

In Gray's mind, a beautiful visage came to mind. A goddess, in every sense ruled over a land of ice and snow, completely opposite her other version, the Queen of the Land of Shadows. She was the winter rose that all the other gods sought to obtain, yet, she was forgotten, and even in the progression into the Age of Man she remained.

At the end of the day she was neither a god nor a ruler. Even if her title "the Mother of Scandinavia" falls off, she is still a girl.

The bright crimson light vanished and three Servants stood tall in front of their Masters. 

Hawkgirl's unsheathed his sword and knelt down on his knees, placing the blade in front of her.

Batman's gave a horrifying charismatic smile before bowing with one hand on his chest and another behind his back.

Gray's stood tall and motionless as they all spoke in unison.

"We are the Servants of White..... Now.... Are you the one, who I shall call Master?".

Waking up in an abandoned apartment in Gotham City was never how I imagined my Saturday morning. Seeing Gods walk amongst Men brought familiar yet foreign memories to mind.

I knew who they were, yet I had absolutely no recollection of myself before today. Waves upon waves of experiences and feelings pilled themselves up like mountains within my mind, yet it was jumbled and incoherent.

Being able to stand side-by-side against Demons and Beings whose very presence could shake the heavens and the earth was a dream that every kid had as a kid.... right?

Two weeks had passed since the incident; Geralt was sitting in his hideout's forge making a small knife out of depleted Promethium. When he finished the knife, he opened one of his books to check its quality; "Damn." He stood up and walked outside his hideout, once outside he raised his hand and fired off five balls of light towards New York.
When the balls left his house they started to reflect light and rapidly picked up speed, within a second they crashed into different criminals around the city. Geralt went back to his hideout and the victims looked around in awe. Back in his hideout he started melting down the metal to re-forge it, this time he forged it into a small armor plate and check it quality "…damn…well…Rome wasn't built in a day..."
He melted the tiny plate once more and set it away, and then he grabbed a bunch of 8th metal and took it to the forge. His eyes started to glow as the metal started to melt, "Rome wasn't built in a day, but with these eyes…and my power…I can!" as the hours went by his new one sided Viking sword started to take shape.
He took the red-hot blade and admired it 'when I used that shitty steal, I would have to fold the steel to get it how I wanted. But thanks to those books and 8th metal it's like I've entering a new league...now if only I could figure out how to get Volatile Promethium to match 8th's quality.'
Geralt stepped back outside to deal with some more criminals before finishing the blade of his new sword. When he came back down to the forge, he grabbed a rusted engraving stencil and bathed it in gravity before carving the blades name on the back of the blade. "Angurvadal…" he stopped to look at the name, and then he continued "…The name means stream of anguish, it is said that the blade will blaze in times of war. But gleam with a dim light in times of peace. And this time--"
He stopped talking as a small candle flame appeared at the tip of the stencil, very quickly the flame heat rose as it hit 12,000 degree. Geralt started carving the enchantment and as he did he slowly changed over to thermonuclear flames. Once finished with the high-end enchantment, he layered it with a durability enchantment then put the stencil down.
He grabbed a smaller stencil and turned the blade over to its back, then started from there as he covered the blade in a seal. The heat that radiated from the blade faded along with the patterned enchantments, and a dim yellow light started to appear on the name of the blade. He used the small stencil to carve a protection seal on to the tang of the blade.

"There…now nobody can say this thing kills people unintentionally." Geralt held the blade as he exited his hideout. When he looked out the window he was shocked to see it was a new day, he grabbed each of the pieces of its hilt and attached them. He went back to the cave and grabbed the stencil before drawing what he called the tracker, follow and finally master-child seal. He returned to his house, and stood on the roof as he undid the seal on the blade to bask in its beauty. "Damn, I'm amazing--" as he raised the blade to the sky he stopped and sighed "it's only been two weeks and now we have an alien invasion…COME ON, WTF!!" Geralt turned around to grab one his suits and as he did, he kept complaining while he resealed the sword.

Above the northern Hemisphere a Giant plant sized Alien colony was being attacked by the U.S government. Groups of people watched from below and Media members all over the world recorded it, since the Alien Colony shrugged it off like the attacks weren't there.
The Justice league flew in to engage it, Simon had Batman and Aquaman in one bubble, and in another he had Victor and Flash. Before the league could engage a giant green beam was fired at them, Jessica made a shield to protect everyone.
But the beam hit it and sent them crashing into earth, when the beam faded a giant 12 miles deep pit was formed at the outskirts of Canada. As rubble started to fall on the downed team, Jessica stood up and used her ring to prevent it from killing the team.
Diana stood up and looked for Superman's heart beat; once she found it she slowly removed anhd pulled him out. Cyborg leaned back against the rubble and informed them all "It's a mining colony, they go from system to system breaking everything down… and I mean everything! It's how they live, hundreds of millions of them. There are cities and everything."
Superman sat on a rock as he leaned against the wall, he was visible tired and hurt. Batman looked around and asked "what did it hit us with? They took out Superman and flash like they weren't even trying. "
Cyborg responded "it's a sort of gravity drill it uses to break down a planet. Gravity that dense could make flash slower and Superman Heavier."
Batman nodded as he said "you said it eats stars…that means it powered by a Red sun too, I'd expect."

As the league started discussing what to do, Geralt flew high above the skies as he studied the mining colony. 'There are so many different kinds of energies in that… dome, planet…over sized top…' Geralt used his eyes to study how the machine blends them together. 'Amazing, I wonder if I can get Cyborg to translate the data on this machine for me.'
Geralt stopped and looked around 'where are Cyborg and the league anyways?'  he rose higher into the air and spotted the Giant pit, Geralt turned back to the mining colony, as he did he saw multiple nukes hitting the surface of the colony but not making a dent.
Geralt flew over to the pit and heard the league talking. "Ohh, they're having a moment."
Cyborg said "When Hal, told us he was leaving and that he'd given his beat to you two, we didn't question it. We trusted that he knew what he was doing and ad chosen his replacements well, you think, you don't belong here? Boo-frikkin-hoo, grow up. You're not here because we said you could be, but that should be and that means something, don't screw it up."
Geralt applauded as he heard this "well done Cy… although how much did I miss and why are the lanterns acting like this?"
Superman smile then said "you didn't miss much, although… how are things going up there." The league looked at him in confusion, but before they could ask him anything. A message written in Yellow Solar radiation appeared in front of them. "I was going to help you guys…but it's pretty clear you guys have major issues… I'll just wait here."
They all read it as the message faded into Superman's body, everyone looked to him and Superman said "Geralt's not wrong, we don't trust each other and it's a problem."
Aquaman sat up as he said "well, right now we don't belong together, do we? It's not just the rookie lanterns that changed our team is it? There's this new Superman too…Batman only wanted you on the team so he could keep an eye on you. Figure out why you're here and what it has to do with the death of our Superman, he doesn't think it's a coincidence and neither do I."
Superman smiled as he remembered something he once heard "batman once told me the only way to find the truth was to question everything." Batman frowned as he said "I didn't tell you that. I told my Superman that."
Superman continued to reminisce as he said "really? Well, maybe it was my batman who told me that you are so like. We didn't like each other, you know, didn't trust each other, not at first, not for a long while. That came later, he kept luthor's kryptonite ring to use against me. He kept files on how to beat all of us."
Everyone looked towards Batman, and Aquaman asked "Do you?" but before he could force an answer, laughter appeared inside the pit as a wormhole opened up. And Geralt took a set inside the cramped pit, he stabbed the new Angurvadal into the ground beside him.
Diana looked at him and shook her head; Geralt smiled and stared down Batman. Diana turned back to him and asked "well do you?" Geralt smile grew wider as he waited for the answer.
Batman "yes." The rest of the league turned to him and yelled in anger "why would you even do that!?" flash said. Superman and Geralt said "Go on tell, them." Diana turned to Geralt and said "hold on, did you know about this?" Geralt sighed as he looked into her eyes and knew.

Far away from a galaxy, a blue ring siding shined.

In a different universe, a tomb suddenly shined and a device came out from the tomb.

"A new Deunamist has risen in another universe. It is time for the Giant of Light to rise again and protective humanity." An ancient voice sounded.

Then the device enters a total and headed to its new host.



Both items approached the boy and enveloped him as that day, a myth of a giant of light appeared with only a survivor survive from the tragic incident.

MC POV

5 years have passed since then as 14 years Daniel Turner walked to his apartment and entered his bedroom.

"5 years have passed since huh?" He said and he let out a blue ring and a device.

"Ring?Status." He said.

"98% sir." A voice comes out from the ring.

"That is plenty." He said and grab Evoltruster.

"Nexus." He called the being in that device that made him half human and half Ultraman as he said when he met the giant a year ago.

"Will the Kaiju rise today?" He asked and the drive shine.

"Still no answer huh." He said and slip the drive into his pocket.

"I had to meet Hal again." He said and slipped the blue ring into his finger and he got envelop in blue light.

Now he is wearing the same cloth as Green Lantern but in blue colour.

"If I am not wrong, today is supposed the day the sidekicks goes to the Hall of Justice." He muttered and started to fly in the air.

"Not like I am interested in it. " He said and started to speed up his flying.

He arrives at a hangar when he sees someone approaches him.

"Daniel." Hal Jordan greeted him.

"Hal. So why do you needed to meet me today? Does Saint Walker has any mission for me?" I asked him.

"No. Rather I wanted to bring you to go to the Hall of Justice." Hal said to me.

"No," I replied.

"Oh come on. You will meet heroes that are the same age as you thought they are 2 or 3 older than you." He said to me.

"My answer is still no," I said.

"Look. I know you hated Batman as I do since he sneak into your house and discover your real identity. And tried to snatch your 2 sacred items. Just ignore him. I just wanted to introduce you to the Team." He said to me.

"You forgot to mention Hal I break his rib," I told him.

"Yeah. Gosh. I saved the video of you blasting him and break his rib even though he breaks yours too. I watch that video many time with the Flash. Who knew the famous Batman got his rib break because of 12 years old kid?" Hal said to me.

"Okay. Fine. I will follow you but on one condition." I told him.

"What is it?" He asked me.

"You must treat me that new Domino Pizza's pizza combo tomorrow," I told him.

"Alright. Now let's go. I wanted to arrive at the Hall of Justice before the Flash with his sidekick arrives." He told me.

We both flew with me following behind him.

"So how is the Evol-thing doing?" He asked me.

"Same as always," I replied.

"Seriously, that device confused me. All we know is that the device made you have half of the unknown bloodline with half is still human. Plus it made you like Superman but degraded version." He told me.

"And that is why that billionaire wanted to keep the device away from me and kept it in his damn cave," I told him.

"Haha." Hal laugh.

We arrived at the Hall of Justice with many citizens are taking pictures of the heroes.

The reporters then pointed their finger to us making all people look at us.

Hal landed with me following him.

"Whoa. It's a Green Lantern."

"Who is that?"

"His sidekick."

"Dude. It's Blue Lantern."

"The one from Brooklyn." 

"I heard him. He is strong."

"Plus he looks hot."


I heard the chatters from the citizens with my super hearing.

My eyes looked at the heroes in front of us.

Green Arrow with his sidekick, Speedy, Batman with his sidekick, Robin and Martian Manhunter.

"Hope we are not too late," Hal said with him walking to them with me following him.

"Not late like the Flash does." Green Arrow commented.

Then 2 people arrived and I see Aquaman with a black skin teenager followed him.

"Greeting everyone." Aquarian greeted us with us greeting him back.

I just started at them with Batman stared at me then turn his head. Guess he has a grudge with me.

Then 2 blur arrived and the Flash and Kid Flash has arrived.

"I knew we are the last one to arrive." Kid Flash said.



The press went nuts as the League members walked the younger heroes toward the hall. "Is that Batman?" one asked. "Oh look! I see Flash and Flash Jr.! " another reporter said excitedly.

"His name is Speedy, duh!" someone else scoffed.

"No, Speedy is Green Arrow's sidekick." someone else corrected.

"Well that makes no sense." the other guy sulked.

I chuckled hearing that without no one notices.

Ignoring them the heroes continued their walk to the Hall of Justice. "Ready to see the inner sanctum?" Green Arrow asked Speedy.

"Born that way." the red archer smiled.

"I'm glad we're all here," Aqualad said looking at the other teens.

"Have all five sidekicks ever been in the same place at the same time." Kid Flash asked only to be cut off by Speedy.

"DON'T call us sidekicks. Not after today," he said calming down.

"Sorry." Kid Flash apologized. "First time at the hall. I'm a little overwhelmed," he said.

"You're overwhelmed, Freeze was underwhelmed why isn't anyone ever just whelmed?" Robin asked walking further ahead. "Oh, maybe that's why," he said looking up at the seven huge statues of the original Leaguers.

"It's the first day for them and of course they must feel overwhelmed.

"Robin, Speedy, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Blue Lantern. Welcome." The green-skinned telepath intoned, turning and walking back deeper into the hall. Robin and Kid Flash bumped fists as they followed the martian. "You now have unlimited access to the gym, our fully stocked galley and of course our library," he told them into a large room with comfortable furniture, large screens on the walls and of course hundreds of books lining the walls.

"Make yourselves at home," Flash told them and Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad all sat down in the chairs with me the same.

Then they started at me and Robin is about to open his mouth when Speedy speak.



Speedy remained where he stood watching their mentors talking.

"A quick debrief to discuss five ice villains attacking the same day. We shouldn't belong." Batman told them. Turning around he allowed a scanner that popped out of the ceiling to scan him.

"Recognized: Batman 02. Aquaman 06. Flash 04. Green Arrow 08. Martian Manhunter 07. Red Tornado 16 .05 Green Lantern." a computerized voice said as it scanned each of the Leaguers. When it finished as door labelled, Justice League Members Only, opened.

"That's it?!" Speedy asked angrily causing the Leaguers to turn to look at him. "You promised us a real look inside, not a glorified backstage pass!" he told them, anger still clear in his voice.

"It's the first step," Aquaman said calmly. "You have been granted access few others get."

"Oh really?!" Speedy said gesturing up to a window where photographers were still taking pictures of them. "Who cares which side of the glass we're on!"

"Roy, you just need to be patient." Green Arrow said stepping forward.

"What I need," Speedy said stressing the word. "is respect. They're treating us like kids! Worse, like sidekicks! We deserve better than this." he said turning to the other teens. Blue Lantern stopped looking at books and the other three looked at him with blank looks on their faces. "You're kidding right?" he asked disbelievingly. "You're playing their game! Why? Today was supposed to be the day! Step one in becoming full-fledged members of the league!"

"Um, sure." Kid Flash said leaning forward. "But I thought step one was just a tour of the HQ," he said confused.

"Except the hall isn't the leagues real HQ! I bet they never told you it's just a false front for the tourists! And a pit stop for catching zeta beam teleporter tubes to the real thing. An orbiting satellite called the watchtower!"

Flash and Batman glared at the green-clad archer. "I know, I know but I thought maybe we could make an exception?" he said hopefully. Batman just narrowed his eyes. "Or not."

"You aren't helping your cause here son. Stand down or" Aquaman said, stepping forward.

"Or what? You'll send me to my room? And I'm not your son!" he said glaring at Aquaman. "I'm not even his," he said turning his attention to Arrow. "I thought I was his partner. But not anymore," he said taking off his yellow hat and throwing it on the ground. The other four stared in shock. "I guess they're right about you four," he said walking out. "You're not ready." He said but then I laugh hearing that.

He glared at me.

"Why the hell are you laughing?" He asked me.

"You said we are not ready. How about you? Are you ready to pledge yourself as a true hero?" I asked him.

"Of course I am." He replied.

"Seriously. Throwing a tantrum like a child is considered ready to become a true hero." I said to him making him angrier.

"Dude. Chill down a little bit, won't you? Do not be angry at the statements I said though it is true." I said and he throws a punch to me but I block it easily.


"You are by no far a hero Speedy. If people like you who didn't have the discipline become a hero, then we are tossed." I said and he retracts back his punch.

"Just because you have that ring doesn't mean you are a hero." He said to me.

"Indeed but without discipline and a righteous heart, you are not a hero." I countered back making him grit his teeth and walked away from the Hall of Justice.

I liked the heroes who just stared at me.

"What?" I asked them.

"Did not expect you to deliver a fine speech to him," Hal said to me.

"Very funny GL. " I replied.

Then one of the comm screens activated showing the man of steel. "Superman to Justice League. There's been an explosion at Project Cadmus, it's on fire," he informed the mentors.

"I've had my suspicions about Cadmus. This may prove the perfect opportunity to"

"Reporting into the big black Batman is the Demon Etrigan. The Sorcerer Wontan is doing all he can, using the amulet of Aten to bring the sun it's the end." the yellow-skinned demon rhymed over a smaller section of the comm screen.

"Superman?" Batman asked.

"It's a small fire. Local authorities have it under control." the man of steel replied.

"Understood. Then Cadmus can wait." Batman said pressing a button on the control panel. "All leaguers go to Etrigan's location. Batman out." he and the other heroes turned to face the teens. "Stay put."

"What? Why?" Robin protested.

"You're not trained," Flash started to say.

"Since when!" Kid Flash shouted.

"I meant you're not trained to work as part of this team." the speedster explained gesturing to himself, Batman, Green Lantern and Aquaman.

"There will be other missions. When you're ready." Aquaman said.

"But for now stay put," Batman ordered as the mentors walked over to the teleporters.

"Glad you didn't bring you to know who?" Green Arrow asked Martian Manhunter.

"Indeed." the telepath replied.

"When we're ready? How are we ever supposed to be ready when they treat us like sidekicks!" Kid Flash raged.

"My mentor, my king, I thought he trusted me." Aqualad lamented.

"Trust? They don't even trust us with the basics!" Kid Flash shouted. "They've got a secret HQ in space!"

"What else aren't they telling us?" Aqualad asked softly.

"I've got a better question." Robin scoffed bitterly. "Why didn't we leave with Speedy."


 I sigh gaining their attention.

"Well, they left to handle that Wotan but do you remember that there is another problem we can solve," I said to them making them wielded their eyes.

"W-wait. Are you going to Cadmus?" Kid Flash asked Blue Lantern. "Because if you're going I'm going."

The two turned to Aqualad and Robin awaiting their answers. "Just like that? We're a team on a mission?" Aqualad asked.

"We didn't come for a playdate," Robin confirmed. Aqualad grinned.


CADMUS POV


The group are now in an orb blue energy from my ring as Daniel is chatting with the other sidekicks.

"So you have been Blue Lantern for 5 years?" Aqualad asked me.

"Yeah. I partnered up mostly with Hal." I told him.

"Must be fun to patrol the space." Kid Flash said to me.

"So Blue Lantern, what does your ring symbolise? I know Green represent Will." Robin asked me.

"Hope. It represents hope and Blue Lantern Corps is close with Green Lantern Corps. We are allies." I told him.

I then see the Cadmus building.

"We have arrived," I said and alarmed down. Kid Flash is the first to move with Robin following.

"They seem too eager doing this," Aqualad said to me.

"Too much eager," I replied.

Over at Project Cadmus, the local authorities were having trouble getting everyone out of the building. "Help! Get us down!" a pair of scientists shouted from a second-story window.

"Stay put! We will get you out." the fire chief promised. But as soon as the words left his mouth the room the scientists were in exploded sending them toppling out the window.

As they were falling a red and yellow blur sped across the ground and up the wall catching the scientists and tossing them on the ceiling. Unfortunately for Kid Flash, tossing the scientists had cost him his momentum causing him to fall. He would have had a rather nasty landing to if he hadn't managed to catch the window ledge the scientists had fallen from.

"Look, it's what's his name, Flashboy!' the fire chief shouted excitedly.

"Kid Flash! Why is that so hard?"

"Soo smooth!" Robin said sarcastically while I and Aqualad go to them by me creating stairs for us after we erased the fire.


"So you got any plan, Robin?" I asked the Boy Wonder who shakes his head.

Walking into the hallway, the ping of an elevator caught his attention. Turning he saw a humanoid figure with large horns inside the elevator as the doors closed. "There was something in there," he said as Kid Flash, Robin and Aqualad rushed into the hallway behind him.

"Elevators should be locked down." Kid Flash said confused.

"This is wrong," Robin told them after running up to the elevator and pulling up a scan. "Thought so. This is a high-speed express elevator, it doesn't belong on a two-story building."

Neither did what I saw on it." Arcane agreed. Walking over to the elevator Aqualad quickly pried the doors open.

"And that's why they need an express elevator," Robin said as they looked down at the extremely deep elevator shaft, going deep underground. Firing a grapple line at the ceiling he lowering himself down with Kid Flash and Aqualad jumping on the line behind him. I simple glowed blue and hovered down with them. They quickly passed Sublevels twenty-four and twenty-five. "I'm at the end of my rope," Robin told the others. After jumping off the rope and landing on the rim of the elevator shaft it didn't take Robin long to hack into the security programs. "Bypassing security... there! Go!" he told the others as five green smiling Robin heads appeared on his hologram screen.

Aqualad pried open the doors for them to see a long metal hallway. "Welcome to Project Cadmus," Robin announced.

Kid Flash taking the initiative sped along the hallway to scout out what was ahead.

Aqualad barely had time to utter "Kid, wait!" before the young speedster nearly got himself run over by massive grey beasts with massive tusks and razor-sharp teeth. Luckily for him, they didn't seem to notice him. There was a whole herd of the beasts walking in an orderly two-line fashion. All of the young heroes watched them go past with wide eyes. There were smaller gnome-like things crouched on the beast's heads. It looked at them and its small stubby horns began glowing red.

"Well, that obviously wasn't out of the ordinary," Blue Lantern said sarcastically.

"No, nothing going on here." Aqualad agreed.


In a lab elsewhere in Cadmus, a man with long brown hair, dressed in a lab coat was working on something using the genetic materials of some of the creatures that he had in test tubes. Carefully he placed a drop of a pink solution in a clear liquid that had a strange blue crystal inside it. The crystal quickly dissolved thanks to the new ingredient and the new mixture glowed a bright shade of blue. The pinging of an opening door brought an irritated expression to the man's face.

"Doctor Desmond." a man dressed in a blue jumpsuit and a yellow helmet, complete with one of the smaller gnome creatures on his shoulder walked in.

"Tell me, Guardian, what part of no interruptions did you not understand?" Desmond asked snidely placing the glowing blue vial inside a container with others just like it.

"A gnome on Sublevel 26 reports four intruders," Guardian informed him.

"Huh, did I miss a perimeter breach alert?" Desmond sighed.

"No."

"Then the gnome is confused. Whatever might occur in our fall lab above ground the real Cadmus is the most secure facility in D.C." Desmond boasted. Neither of them noticed a tall horned shadow behind them.

"My job to keep it that way," Guardian replied.

"Fine, take a squad." Desmond sighed, clearly frustrated with Guardians insistence.

"Might I recommend Guardian leave his g-gnome behind?" a tall thing-gnome dressed like a doctor suggested entering the room. "If violence were to occur..."

"The little guy would be in my way." Guardian agreed.

"No!" Desmond said, Charley. "The benefits of instant telepathic communication outweighs other concerns." Reaching down he rubbed the chin of another small g-gnome that sat on his desk. Its horns began glowing red, and in response, the gnome on Guardians shoulder did the same.

"I need my gnome with me at all times," he said in a robotic voice. Tuning he clasped a fist to his heart and bowed slightly to Desmond before turning and walking out of the room. When he was gone Desmond turned back to his microscope.

Glowing light on a pair of large steel doors turned green, deactivating the lock. The door opened, allowing the fourteen heroes access to the next room. "Ok, I'm officially whelmed," Robin told the others


"Let's just hope that this mission goes well without a problem." I thought in m head.

Daniel Turner become a Blue Lantern Corp along with a giant of light.
