Yo so check it out. What if this dude like, died and then instead of going to heaven or whatever, he was reincarnated as get this, Harry Osborn. But you see the thing is he's not really a fan of Marvel comics, he prefers DC, but then he had this like crazy smart idea 'hey I'm rich let's be Batman' and that's basically all you need to know

The Shadow has a long and storied history. Over the course of the character's radio and publishing history, The Shadow became an American icon in his own right, and was even the inspiration for Batman, V for Vendetta, as well as being cited as a strong influence on the evolution of comic book heroes in general. 

The Shadow has many ties to DC, even though the character was published by many different companies at different points in history.  Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel, and Lester Dent (who wrote the Doc Savage stories) both wrote stories for The Shadow, among others.

DC Comics first published a Shadow series in the mid 1970's. An aging Shadow also appeared in Batman comics in which it is revealed that (in-universe) The Shadow was Batman's "biggest inspiration", as well as the surprising facts that The Shadow saved a young Bruce Wayne as a boy, and that The Shadow knows who Batman is, but the secret is safe with him. Batman also referenced The Shadow when he was once disguised as a night janitor at a police station, a method which The Shadow often used to obtain access to police records in his day. 

Another couple of DC published Shadow series was released in the 80's, and there was one more in the 90's. The Shadow also made a few cameo's in other comics in the 90's. 

This fanfic blends the radio version with the novel and comic book version. Certain RPG systems have been used to provide stats for the character to make tracking of changes easier. This interlude does not cover the many other Shadow comics, novels, pulps, and even movies that have been published over the years.

The Living Shadow, more commonly known as simply The Shadow, is whispered about but seldom seen, feared and mysterious, but frighteningly effective once involved. The Shadow has worked with famous figures such as Doc Savage and Batman, and is even cited by Batman as a source of inspiration and a model figure. 

Decades have passed and nothing as been seen or heard of The Shadow. Criminals have forgotten the chilling whisper in the dark, "The weed of crime bears bitter fruit!" Nor do they recall the frightening laughter in the dead of night. 

But soon the streets will again be haunted, the criminals stalked, evil pruned. 

Who knows what evil lurks in the heart? The Shadow knows!

It was freezing cold, the threadbare second hand jacket brought no warmth. His surrounding looked depressing and the eyes of the passing people looked bleak, this atmosphere summed up the vast majority experience of Marvel-New York City; namely the lower end neighborhoods. 
He hated he couldn't recall his own memories before arriving in this new reality, everything of his prior life was void inside of him. With his knowledge of the comics and cinematic universes wholefully intact and with all of Jermey York memories, he had little choice; he would reinvent himself.

He stared in wonder at his status sheet, it was such a marvel; The System. The sheer implications of it could shatter minds and end the universe and all realities.  He was possibly the most dangerous individual; not even the gods, old and new, be it Aesir or the Olympians, he had the potential to have it all. Not even those above the so called gods could fathom his potential. But, he would need time to grow, because what is potential, if it's not seen to fruition.

His first persona: Red Hood-Jason Todd, the second Robin to be trained by Batman. Red Hood was a killer, unlike Batman, he didn't allow his victims to breathe, which lead to him and Batman coming to blows  many times. Jason Todd was also murdered by The Bat greatest foe, the  Joker only to be revived by the league of shadows with the Lazarus Pit. 
He ran onward and his excitement grew the more he pressed himself, fatigue no where in site, his body quickly adjusting to his needs. He didn't have the sheer speed as the flash nor the quickness of Quicksilver, his breakneck pace was borderline Captain America, he knew he hadn't  reached his limits, unlike Captain America Cole had a Helaing Factor which would make his far faster then the likes of Cap. He dipped further into the untapped pool of his abilities. At such speeds the human mind would have to be able to keep up with the body; he learned this the hard way as in his mind his leap over the trash can was near perfect yet his body fail to meet that demand and he tumbled, his leg catching the top, he rolled across the ground pain traveled across his body before vanish as quick as it came. 
He und himself before Sandy Carmichael's orphanage for troubled kids, a quick scan of his-and-Jeremy York memory had already told him of his troubled past. His parents were once upon a time well-to-do members of the upper echelons of New York royalty; greed and corporate espionage lead to their murder and his fortune being squandered by a certain group of people. 
The greed of his extended family had no bounds. Using back channels, they managed to work out a lucrative but foolhardy deal with that 'group'. They even snatched away his inheritance, he wasn't even sure if his trust fund had survived his Father's older brother's greedy hands. Money was one thing he needed the most, the system only accepted money and certain extraordinary items; his family would have to give him a full accounting soon. But, his mind wasn't on machinations of mere men; his mind was on one glowering fact Jermey had always missed. His family was assassinated by agents of 'Hydra.' He also knew the Hand in this universe was working alongside them. 
"New-boy! You're past curfew," and all to familiar voice ripped him from his dark reverie.

"Won't happen again, Ms. Carmichael." He replied. He has hidden all  the malice he had for the woman,

"You forget yourself, boy! Under my roof, I'm Mama." Her voice waffling his ears as his eyes scanned through the darkness, the tall tale sign of light cigarette gave away her position.

"Another hour and I would have thought you tried to run again." Her voice carrying a trace of mirth and ridicule. "It sure was fun the last time, huh? I hope you realize soon that your past life is over." She continued. The last time she and her much older sons chased him down and when they caught him, the beating left him little to do but stay in bed and nurse his injuries. He was a lucrative check for them, they won't let him go anytime soon.
"This place is the end of the line for the likes of you. How old are you now? Fourteen? Fifteen?" Her voice wheezily and scratchy. That told him of a long life of alcohol and nicotine abuse. He shifted on his feet and cast his eyes toward the dark region of the big rickety porch that was the view of the Carmichael home for the wayward. Cole quietness caused the old woman to flick her cigarette away and enter the house, she left it cracked, just enough for him to know she expected him on her heels, expediently.

He smiled coldly. Time. He only needed time. Soon he would be done with  this place, but for now he need familiarity; there was also the added benefit of disguise. He tossed his book-bag on his bed, more akin to a cot. His room was actually the attic. Since the older kids took up most of the rooms in the old three-story house, it left him little to no choice; because at the Carmichael's home, one either fought for a room or played their cards right and received one. Let's just say the old Jeremy couldn't accomplish either.

He looked down at his watch, it was 9:33 PM. Tomorrow, he had school. As he looked through the time-stained window of his makeshift room a thought crossed his mind, running toward his secret compartment-this This is where he hid his precious items, most foster kids learn this quickly, or they soon part with anything of value.

Turning on the outdated iPhone he browsed the Internet. He query, anything supernatural. He wanted to know how far along was the timeline. His search only brought more questions, but he at least knew the invasion of New York hasn't happened, Hulk hasn't surfaced either, there wasn't even a mention of an iron man, But Tony Stark had just been reported missing..

Before long his search leads him to sight and witness accounts of extraordinary individuals. Sighting and witness accounts of a red spider-themed vigilante that shot webs from his hand operating in the greater New York area. He soon unearthed cellphone footage on the Hell's Kitchen daredevil. If that was Daredevil, then the other cloaked figures in the minute-long video were probably The Hand.

He pondered on other major scenarios. Apocalypse. House of M. World War Hulk. Infinity War.

He had no clue how he came to be here, but he knew unless he utilized all his cards, he wouldn't even have the slightest chance to find out how, and whom, had placed him here. One thing was for certain, he had the most potential, and could possibly be considered the biggest threat or savior.

He blinked as the sun entered his room, he felt so much better then last night, his body felt like
It was waiting to be tasked, to be tested. He withdrew the sheets and started to prepare for school. Below him, he could hear the other occupants stirring and running about.

Before he could put on his shoes a notification appeared before him and with it came to his very first mission, his quest for power and understanding.

Cole Stephens, a unmentionable man from earth perishes only to awaken inside the body of a recently deceased teen. He quickly learns he has been transplanted into the Marvel Universe with a system.

It was sometime between morning and midday.
The city of Metropolis was bustling with people, everywhere you look people were busy with their daily life and speaking of daily life, there was a well-known tall building with an enormous globe that sits on top of it, the words 'Daily Planet' were displayed on that globe, which was a name hinting the sort of business run inside that building, it was the name of one of the most famous newspaper companies in the DC universe and also where mild mannered reporter 'Clark Kent' works but unfortunately, Clark Kent wasn't there today.
Inside the Daily planet
"Jimmy, did you see Clark today?" an attractive woman with long black hair asked as she seemed to be hurrying somewhere, she was 'Lois Lane' a successful journalist who is also working for the Daily Planet.
In the comics Lois Lane is often seen as a friend and a work 'rival' work for Clark Kent however in some versions and adaptations of the superman comics her relationship with Clark Kent went even further to become also that of a husband and wife…
"No, miss Lane, do you want me tell him you are looking for him when he comes?" Said a ginger youth with a bright smile on his face, his name is Jimmy Olsen, working as a photojournalist for the Daily Planet and he was a good friend for both Lois Lane and Clark Kent and especially for superman.
"No need Jimmy, this is going to be my scoop" Lois Lane answered as she left with a smile on her pretty face.
Meanwhile, 'Clark Kent' was still aimlessly running trying to escape the noises he is hearing.
*BIIIBBB!!*
"Hurry…"
"You are going to be late…"
*Grrrr…*
"Don't miss that…"
"Ok will tell…"
"What about dinner…"
*Caw caw*
"Merci"

Hundreds of thousands of conversations, sounds, voices, etc… from around the world were being transmitted to him at the same time, in a sense, to him it was noise pollution.
Superman kept running seeking a shelter from all those noises but where could he hide? His hearing sense was excellent if not even better.
"Superman!"
Suddenly he heard 'his' name, that call seemed like a call for help.
But unfortunately, he didn't feel like helping, he wasn't a bad person but just he didn't feel like helping, main reason for that was his current condition, he felt like he was in need of help before being able to help.
"Superman! help!" he heard another call for help
"Nope" was what he thought
"Help me! Superman!!" another call for help reached him
"Some help me first!" He thought as he again ignored the call for help But 
"Superman!"
"Superman!!"
"Help us!"
"Superman!!!"
The shouts for help suddenly increased, each time he ignores one, two or three shouts would reach him.
"God! Why me? Aren't the noises I am hearing enough? Where did these people come from?" he said as he grumbled
"Superman!"
"Fine, fine, I will come" he said as he gave up and decided to help
"Superman!" Unfortunately, it wasn't like whoever were calling for help could hear him therefore the shouts for help didn't stop which only made him more irritated.
Alas, following the voices calling for help, superman arrived at the harbor and what he saw there was simply amazing in a sense.
At the harbor, several big flaming ovals where floating in the sky as terrifyingly looking creatures kept flying out of them while for some reason lots of people where gathered there and were being kidnapped by the creatures and back into the flaming floating ovals.
"Parademons!" superman was shocked
It was his first time in that world and he was still trying to get used to life there and to his powers, but his first opponents were parademons? And if there is Parademons, it means that 'Darkseid' is there as well, and that is a bad thing.
As a fan of Dc comics he knew who Darkseid is, and what terror he could bring, reading or watching that terror is something but living it is something else entirely no to mention he got to face that terror, the current superman was at a loss because Darkseid was a super villain whose powers equaled the actual superman's and in some adaptation Darkseid was far stronger than the actual superman, so what would that make him for the current superman?
However, things didn't stop at that.
When he looked around more following the screaming people, he saw that there were familiar characters fighting the parademons, or rather than characters they were people as he is living in the same world as them now, anyway, said familiar people included Batman, Wonder woman, Flash, Cyborg, Shazam and Martian manhunter those were members of the justice league so it weren't strange for them to be there when a threat like Darkseid was present but superman was surprised by someone else
"Lois Lane" he said surprised
Lois lane is a character with her own fanbase, she even got her own comics.
But she doesn't have super powers, well, at least aside from few adaptations but the current one in front of him doesn't seem to have any super powers.
Now what does he know about this pretty lady?
To him Lois Lane is a headstrong and ambitious woman but also a bit of an idiot, as even now in that 'hunting field' she wasn't trying to run away but seems to be chasing someone.
Upon closer look there was a bald healthy-looking man in black suit that seems to be trying to go somewhere.
"Lex Luthor" again superman recognized another face
Lex Luthor was most of the time depicted as an enemy of superman in almost every DC comic except few, as he feared him, envied him and even tried to harm superman on lots of occasions.
Not exactly a supervillain although he was depicted as such in lots of works but the current superman's impression of him wasn't good either as Lex Luthor is selfish and always thought of how to make his desires come true not to mention he dislikes superman a lot, therefore the current superman doesn't like him either.
"Lots of trouble" was what he thought, he might be superman now but he isn't the actual superman no matter how much he dreamt of being a super hero but of course not like that, there were lots of things on line, mainly his life, mr Mxy words still echoing in his head, how is he going to make him change his impression of superman and especially in such situation?
"Superman!" a grim voice suddenly called, it sounded so close.
Turning around, superman saw a man in a black suit, just from a glance one can see that the design was based on a bat, and as if that wasn't enough there was a big black bat on the chest area of the suit.
"Batman!" superman said surprised, till few moments ago batman was a distance away from him and now he is behind him, when did he get behind him? Superman couldn't tell…

A young man while online browsing for a movie to watch, read somewhat upsetting comments, unable to leave without saying anything he commented his thoughts unaware of the consequences of such act...
“So? You like superman eh? Let us play a game, shall we?” 
Alas, because of a blunder, a normal young man of modern age finds himself in the world of DC comic as none other but Superman

After one and a half years, things were going extremely well. My first two books were a big success, and my third one was about to be released at any moment now, with great anticipation of the public I'm told. 

Besides, the 'power puff girls' cartoon had it's premiere just yesterday. And to celebrate it, I and my sister had our friends at home to watch it together. All of us loved it, especially me who couldn't stop grinning when I remembered the deal we had made with the studio. 

"How about this?" Alex said after a long time of trying different approaches to the characters I was describing to him.

Alex Dawn was the profesional artist I chose when Clark gave me his 'ok' to progress with my comic. 

He was young and had a 'modern' style of drawing, somehow gloomy but stylish at the same time. Definitely perfect for the image I have on mind. 

"That's perfect. With that character done I believe we can now make a quick draft of how the story goes for the first chapter" I replied once I saw his drawing.

"Finally" He laughed a little, "Honestly I didn't think that a kid could be so demanding" 

"Hahaha, I'm sorry. But you know it has to be perfect for us to even have a chance of making our way up in this business" I said in a relaxed manner. 

I wanted to be respected by him, so I never tried to act my age as I usually do in front of others. It was weird at first, especially for him, but it worked out well at the end. 

"I know. I know. You have already told me all about it. Now let's get going with the story" He said in anticipation. 

At the beginning he was skeptic about me. That changed a little when he was aware that I had written two books. And all was fine when he started to draw the characters. I noticed that he was already anticipating how they were going to interact on the story. 

"Well the story begins with 'Batman' ..." 

I could've started with other character, but at the end I decided that the lack of powers and the detective aspect of him, will be the key to introduce organically certain events in the future. 

"So the 'Penguin' was a mafia inspired character, I expected him to be a business kind of guy, but I like more your idea" He said when I presented the villain of the story. 

"Yeah, we need to introduce the dark side of 'Gotham' early on. So I thought that this was a good way of doing it" There were better villains in my opinion, but he was definitely the best for the story I wanted to tell. 

"It really works... For the first chapter this is really good. I'll prepare a draft for next week so we can see if there's need for any changes" 

"That sounds good to me" I was satisfied with the story, but if he has any suggestions about the art, I would be a fool to not consider his thoughts. 

"Sam, your mother has arrived to pick you up" Clark said once he entered the room we were in. 

"Perfect timing. We have already finished the details for the first chapter. Now it all depends on Alex to do the first draft" I said with a big smile. I was happy with the quick progress we had today. 

"That's good news. Probably we are going to be able to be ahead of the new wave of young creators, if we continue at this wonderful pace" Clark said with a smile of his own. 

"What's this 'new wave' are you talking about?" I asked with curiosity. 

At this time, the overall sales of comics were shrinking. Mostly due to the endless quantity of storylines with the same old characters, and the over use of especial editions to entice collectors. 

And until this day, I haven't heard anything about new comics from any of the big publishers. Which was weird, as they usually promote their work when there's a big release coming up soon. 

"It was an exaggeration" He started jokingly, "I just know of a couple of friends that are in the same situation as me. They found their own talented kids to help them save their business" Clark said while ruffling my hair. 

"Oh, are you saying that there are others kids like Sam?" Alex asked. 

"I don't think there exist someone one like him. But, at least he's not the only talented kid his age" Clark teased. I usually would joke about it in this kind of situations, but my mind was a mess after hearing Clark's words. 

The possibility that I wasn't the only person reincarnated in this world was something I never thought of. And now that was all I could think about. 

"Do you know what kind of project are they doing?" I asked with what I hope was a normal tone of voice. 

"Mmmm. I know that one is doing something about zombies, and the other something about space, 'Star wars' I think my friend called it" He said. And to my grief, it's confirmed. I'm not the only one here. 

'Star wars', and maybe 'The walking dead' were the projects the others were working on. Fortunately, those were not projects I thought of making myself. But I still wasn't 'safe', because if there are two, there could be others too. 

The possibility that there could be someone else doing a project I had in mind for the future, makes me incredibly nervous. My only comfort is knowing, that until now there hasn't been any other projects like those that I'm aware of. 

"I'll be going then. I'll see you next weekend" I simply said. And with new found determination, I went to reunite with my mother. 

We were in the building in front of the the one used by the publishing company. My mother parked close to the entrance, and she was waiting for me in the car. 

She was reading a version of my fourth book to be published. She's in essence my personal editor, so she's looking for all the errors I've made. 

For my third book I decided to go with 'How to train your dragon', which I believed was a good transition from princesses stories. And for my fourth one I went with 'Kung fu panda', a different kind of story, but safe at the same time. Which made sense, considering that my original plan was to advance slowly towards more mature stories. 

"Mom, do you remember that one big publishing company that wanted to work with me?" I asked her once I entered the car and greeted her. I should've been more patient, but I couldn't waste any time now. 

"Yes, they have been constantly communicating with Clark. And because you are a minor, we have been maintaining your identity a secret... 

... And now it seems that you want to publish a book with them" She finished with a tired sigh. 

"Yes... I know what you think about overworking myself. But I just have this big idea, that will result in many books, and I think that a big company is the best place for it to be a big success" 

"My son, your two previous books were an enormous success. And you have other two books on the way, one of which is really good, while the other, well it could get better" She said with a teasing smile, while pointing the 'Kung fu panda' book... "I know I've told you before about going with a bigger company in the future, but does it really matter where do you publish your book? Especially with the success you have had" 

"Well, not really. I just REALLY think that it will be more beneficial for me if I do that" I looked at her pleading for a positive answer. 

What I said was the true, but not by the instinct nature I conveyed. I needed the book to be released quick, before someone even thinks on making the same one. And a big company was the better alternative for this situation. 

"... Ok, it's not a big deal after all. So stop with the puppy eyes" She relented. "But I'm curious, what book are you planning to write?... That bit of information will be my condition to help you" My mother said with a smirk on her face. And I just smiled back, I knew that she was just joking around after all. 

"It's called 'Harry Potter', and is basically about a secret magic school for wizards" I finally said when I failed to resist my mother pressure. I'd swear that she has some kind of power, if I didn't knew better. 

"That sounds interesting... Your imagination never cease to amaze me my son" She said with a pleased tone.

Samuel Bane, a guy who was just a normal 23 year old in another life, was living in a new world with his memory intact. 

The new world is almost exactly the same as the one he lived before, except that the period of time was similar to the mid 80's that he knew by the movies and tv shows he watched.

This story will focus on how Sam enters the entertainment business. Getting his works published and meeting new people on his way towards an unheard level of success. 

The concept of the story has inspiration in "I'm really a super star", but it's nothing alike.

I really appreciate Coulson, he doesn't talk a lot but he really seems to be a nice guy. I really hope that he will survive. Those bloody cards are constantly reminding me of my defeats. Maybe, if we hab been ready, we could have avoid that. We knew that Loki was a snake, and we gently invited him on board. Only the new nice guy was ready and I'm glad that he told us what to do. 
Normally I don't like following orders but this time, I didn't mind. 
I leave the conference room. Steve followed me, I know that he was not very close to Coulson but he seems truly sad too. We walk in the helicarrier, not talking and just thinking about what we could have done better. 
Thor joins us not too long after. We are now in the room where Loki was imprisoned.
We all know that now Loki is unfoundable, and without Banners help, it's next to impossible to find him.
And now we are here, sulking. The silence is heavy and Steve is the first to break it: 
"Was he married?" 
I answer: "No, there was a cellist, I think." 
"I'm sorry" 
Thor: "Me too, I hope that he will survive" 
Me: "He is an idiot" 
Steve: "For what? For believing?" 
Me: "No, for taking on Loki alone, the amount of people that can fight a god on this planet can be counted with the fingers of our hands. He should have waited. Even Batman didn't engage and he was right. Natasha wouldn't have engaged Loki neither. So yes he is an idiot. "
Steve:" He did his job, we are soldiers. "
Thor:"Yes he is a warrior. " 
Me:"And is it intelligent to send your life away for nothing? He could have died, and should have if Batman wouldn't have been there. Let's stop talking about him for now, we can just pray for him. Thor, what can you tell us about your brother that can help us find him? 
" He is very intelligent, cunning, a little bit arrogant, a very skillful magician. Very proud of himself and his achievements." 
Steve:"And what are his usual strategies?" 
Thor:"Hit where it hurts the most, divide, inspire doubt and distrust in a team. He doesn't fight with honor." 
Steve:"Yes and he really hit us hard there, divide and conquer is what he used on us." 
Me :"And he is proud, he wants all the eyes of the world on him, he wants everyone to see what he have done, a gigantic monument in the sky with his name on... Son of a bitch. I know where he is." 
It's my fucking tower, I will make him leave it as quickly as you say fuck and kick his ass back to Asgard. He really made it personal, first Coulson, now my tower? I repair a bit my armor and I fly there.
I think that Thor and Steve understood my reflexion. They follow me. 
Direction: the lab. I take my armor, repair it, and fly to New-York. I will be there in three hours. I also need to inform the others. Let's quicken the pace.

I really appreciate all the conscrutive criticism that I received the last few days, I think that it will help a lot for my story. And I'm very happy to hear that a lot of people like the story too. I'm also happy that I don't have any haters, that just want to write hateful comments for the fun. (special message to BlaqueLyte who wrote a novel in the comments, I really appreciate that!!!) Also thanks for the reviews!!! And again sorry if you don't like it but my batman is not the comics batman, maybe he will become stronger after, who knows?

Ryan is a genius who survived the apocalypse and after being the only being left on the planet Earth was offered an opportunity by Gaia, and with the energy released by the destruction of the planet, was reincarnated as an American baby. His new planet is filled with mutants, heroes, gangsters who are similar to the comics from before the doomday. Watch how he continues his life in this new world... Normally it's a daily chapter update, sometimes I can write more but other days I can't write any. Short chapters too. 
From the comments and reviews the story is too fast, so if you like slow-paced story you may not like this one. Also if you didnt watch the films, you will not understand some things.

The bat-mobile was nearing Wayne Manor from an area covered in trees so Alejandro could not see the Manor. He attempted to read batman's mind but all he got was static and batman responded

Batman: I had training from john johnzz so I can circumvent your attempt to read my mind. Try it again and I will gas you to sleep. 

Batman does not like anyone going into his head but his response alone baffled Alejandro. He did not dare to try to read batman mind again but looked ahead and saw that he was going to go into a waterfall and freaked out for a short amount of time. Screams were coming from the bat-mobile until the car jumped into the waterfall and a tunnel within filled with lights and tech and a huge cave. Although Alejandro has gamer mind which helps keep him calm under duress it didn't kick in that second until he went through the waterfall there seemed to be a gap in time where it kicks in too late. The bat car approached the middle of the bat cave and parked the car and the bat-mobile opened and batman came out and Alejandro was frozen in place for a second. 

Batman walked up to a gigantic computer and turned it on showing a name and a picture Jason Blood, Zatanna, John Constantine, and DR. Fate as well as many other mystical members of the justice league with powers and abilities listed. Batman looked at Alejandro as he attempted to get out of bat-car awkwardly.  

Batman: "I know you have psychic powers however I checked your background and everything about you is normal and your DNA checks out as human. I could feel you attempting to read my mind before we got here. The reason I got you is that there is a prophecy from both of our young and older League members whose powers are magical calming that a powerful being will come into existence which might be the doom or salvation of us all. So I investigated and studies births and past and current events and did not find anything until a few days ago." 

Batman clicked the computer and it showed Jaime turning into blue beetle the first time and the fights he got into. Then showing that after Jaime having better control of himself after the next day. Batman then proceeds to show  M'gann M'orzz picture and powers and abilities listed. 

Batman: "Recently M'gann bioship communicated to M'gann that another bio-ship was close by but was cloaked but she couldn't sense anyone. I investigated the surrounding area with my satellite and saw an almost undetectable ripple so I studied M'gann ship and found out that the only way something like that occurs is if the ship is in camouflaged mode. Your mistake was that you flew over happy harbor when you left El Paso. I do not know how you were in two places at once so I have spoken to J'onn J'onzz and he spoke to mars the real martian officer was late by a week."

Batman Investigation skills were no joke he even manages to figure out that Alejandro was somehow even though the Martians did not know his true identity. Batman began asking me if Alejandro wanted to work and train under him so he can keep a close eye on him through the young justice group and make sure that he did not became the destruction of the world. Batman said it was mandatory. 

Alejandro: "So you want me to go to some fancy school and work under your "apprenticeship" as a cover and join a group called Young Justice who will babysit me or test my character? Okay, then let's be honest I...."

Alejandro explained his powers were psychic and he felt the call to go to mars to help and then he explained almost everything to batman except for the system and Alejandro expect batman to be just as honest. Batman did not like exposing his identity to Alejandro but since Alejandro put it down as a condition to work with the league and young justice. Batman knew it was a risk he had to take. After their agreement Batman inputted a code name and authorization for Alejandro into the system then he escorted Alejandro to a zeta beam. On the opposite end of the zeta beam in Happy Harbor a mechanical voice verifying the designation of two people coming through.

A group of youths standing at the end of the zeta beam awaiting batman arrival and the team consists of BeastBoy, Kid Flash, Robin, Miss Martin, Zatanna, Raven, Aqualad, and Superboy. Batman and Alejandro (code name: Psi) entered into the hollowed-out mountain and addressed the team. Alejandro feeling shy put his hoodie over his face because he did not want to show his expression of excitement meeting all of his heroes in one day. He was afraid he would get so excited and faint if he met the rest of the Justice League. 

Miss Martin: "Welcome to our team I would like to extend thanks for helping my people on my home planet."

Superboy: "angry stare..."

Kid Flash: "Hey nice to meet you"

BeastBoy: "Thank you for saving my sister's home-planet my name is Garfield"

Raven: "waves but has an intense stare as if she trying to figure him out"

Robin: "welcome to the team."

Aqualad: "Guys we are overwhelming him lets give him some space so he can get comfortable"

Zatanna: " It is him! I can feel his power with my magic."

Everyone looks at Zatanna knowing she was referring to the prophecy but the whole time Alejandro was dealing with another problem entirely. 

[Host has learned and mastered Hydrokinesis, Electrokinesis, Underwater breathing, Accelerated Metabolism/Superhuman Speed/Reflexes/Stamina/Molecular acceleration/agility/ Animal Morphing now merging with current shape-shifting powers/ Magic (cannot be used due to flaw in magic host must create a better power if not then with each and every magical used a price must be paid), Empathy/Emphatic Absorption/Emphatic inducement/Emphatic healing, Astral projection, Solar Energy Absorption/ Super Senses, Super strength, Infrared vision, Telescopic vision, Microscopic vision.] 

Alejandro was shocked but didn't understand why he did not obtain the physiology of a Kryptonian, homo-magi, or martian he just learned their powers and reconditioned it to work for him in his enhanced human body which he was fine with. His only problem was magic and it price factor so he knew he couldn't use magic he was planning to create better physiology and stack it with his enhanced human physiology according to the system instruction. He had no idea how he was going to do it but he was determined to find out. Although everyone was realizing that Raven and Zatanna were flocking to him as if they were drawn to him but wary of his energy. He also had to ponder on the fact that the team is different than the show, and comics so not everything is in line 100% according to his comic or television knowledge so he had to keep learning. 

Robin and Superboy escorted Alejandro to his room so he could get some breathing room. They informed him that he was going to have to get up tomorrow since he starts his new day in school and then later he will come back and begin training.

A hard-working family man in his 30s stuck in an endless repetition of living in a mundane world. The only joy that made him happy is his wife, kids, and DC comics. Unfortunately, He was murdered because someone who was wearing a MAGA hat saw him and his family speaking in sign language and mistaken their method of communication for gang signs. 

Because of that, he called his friends as he tailed the deaf family before they could even get home and confronted them with his buddies screaming "stupid wetbacks how dare you! you guys come here to my country America and steal our jobs! MS13 does not belong here!" BANG BANG BANG BANG! 

The Man dying and his the rest of his family dead, while attempting to defend them and fight back their only crime, was being deaf and mixed with Mexican, Puerto Rican, and El Salvadorian.  In his dying breath as he held his family one last time thinking GOD I wish I had superpowers so nobody family could go through what we went through.  GASP fade to black.  

A mysterious being spoke "I heard your prayers yet I cannot send you back to your world I will reincarnate you to DC Universe" A voice thundered from the being and a flash of light surrounded the man's soul before it faded to nothingness.

BANG💥

And small explosion hits wades side as the explosive that batgirl put here goes off, destroying his ice amour and Injuring him. "impressive" wade grunts while holding his side, spreading the ice over his body again to protect it, "but I won't go down that easy" wade laughed before advancing on batgirl again. As he ran batarang flew at him so, wade knocked them away with his blade causing a few to blow up, "more explosives" he grumbled.

During wades run at her, batgirl had set up a few explosives in his path while she threw batarang at him. 'come on dick wake up' she thought while watching wade cut through the explosive batarang she threw, "surrender now criminal before you get really hurt" she shouted trying to keep wades focus on her. "Hahaha, I know you set traps for me but bring it on" wade chuckled then he ran towards the explosive trap batgirl set up.

Wades foot suddenly hit something causing him to look down, he saw the trap she had set for him which was setup to injurer him greatly but not kill him. This made wade laugh before he froze it all completely before he continued on to fight more, he was enjoying himself too much for this to end.
 When wade ran through the trap batgirl closed her eyes and looked away since she didn't want to be blinded but before she could look back a fist hit her in the gut, as so fell to her knees in pain she was trying to figure out why the trap failed.

 "that was a nice trap but too bad for you I have a few tricks" wade laughed while he waited for batgirl to get up to fight again. He paced around her keeping his body warm, during the pacing he had also put his other sword away since he didn't want to kill batgirl. 'killing her will brand me as a bad girl forever, also when she is older, she is rather hot if I remember the comics correctly' he thought while watching batgirl start to get up.

While the fight was going on robin had contacted batman and was laying down next to wall with a concussion, batman had told him to only intervene if batgirls life was in danger.

 "his skills a rather impressive" a sudden gruff voice declared from besides him, robin turned to see batman standing next to him. "are you going to help her?" robin asked in a daze, he couldn't really focus on anything well and he was starting to get a massive head ache. "No, he isn't trying to kill her and this experience could help her" batman explained while he watched the fight go on.

Wade had kept pushing out what he calls the frost aura as he fought so he noticed someone new arrive, 'probably batman I could fight him next' he concludes as he wrapped his fist in ice. "frost punch" wade shouted as the punch hit batgirl causing her body to cool down and ice to surround her turning her into an ice statue, 'why did I shout that, so embarrassing' wades face was beet red.

"what did you do to batgirl" batman calm, guff voice asked as he walked up to wade. "she is trapped in that ice, if you don't get her out, she might get frost bite or hypothermia "wade explained while drawing his blade again. "and you want me to fight you or you won't allow me to get her free" batman stated calmly while watching wade closely trying to get as much information as he can. "yes exactly" wade replied with a smile under his mask.

" I wont fight you" batman declared before continuing " I searched the man you knocked out, seems like he was a drug dealer, so seems like you were trying clean up the streets, also during this fight you haven't tried to kill batgirl' he explained while staring at wade. 'shit this fight won't happen I should probably run before he tries to make me a sidekick' wade thought, suddenly the ice around batgirl vanished and a smoke bomb went off covering everything in smoke allowing wade to run away.

A few kilometres away from the alley wade stopped running as he sat down "I should head home soon but maybe I will do a sweep of small-time thugs" he thought aloud. And that's what wade did for the next hour, going from street to street knocking people out and he locked them all in an ice jail that he moved around with him.

 During his sweep of thugs, he filmed their illegal dealings on the first drug dealers' phone and he also got their confessions on the camera. Wade left the cage in front of the police station and gave to phone to a random police man.

"who are you" the police man asked as wade walked off, "you can call me frostpool" wade laughed then ran for it. For the next hour he walked home, he stored his clothing and mask into the ring just in case batman managed to put a tracking device on it and encased himself in ice. 

Wade got home and managed to sneak up to his room with no one noticing he but he opened his room to find his mother staring at him in disapproval.

"what where you doing" Mary asked with a look that told him he was walking on ice (pun intended). "I was out fighting crime" he confessed realizing he had to tell the truth, "why would you do that" she questioned with a calm ton that would scare even batman. "because I wanted experience" wade explained while he started fearing for his life. The next five minutes where spent with both of them staring at each other waiting for the other to break.
"if I said you are banned from doing this you would still go out" she sighed suddenly surprising wade, "probably" he confessed hoping she was going to let him go out". 

"I shall make a deal with you then" she decaled, " you can only go out one night a week and you shall call me after every hour or I will send a search party to find out what happened , also you must not attack the big-time bad guys " she concluded, then waited for wades agreement then stormed out. 'that was weird' he thought before jumping into bed and going to sleep.

In the batcave 🦇

"so, he goes by frostpool, he caught 23 criminals and also filmed their illegal activities last night before handing them in this morning" batman explained to his two sidekicks, "now what where your thoughts on his skills" batman asked

"he is skilled in marital arts and had an ability that allows for the creation and control of ice" batgirl described, "he also has amazing physical strength as his kick sent me flying" robin added. "yes, I agree on your thoughts he also seems to have a great grasp on what's happing around him "batman agreed as he wrote a description on frostpool and his abilities on his bat computer.

"we should keep an eye on him for the next few months to get as much information as we can on him before engaging contact with him again" batman concluded as he then sent the information to a few members of the league to see if anyone else had any information on this kid.

Chapter 005 [...:Lost of when we wake…]

Swinging back, I picked up my ringing phone with aching arms. Gwen called and had asked to meet up to talk about Harry. 

"Yeah, I could use the relaxation." My arms were killing me. The things I do for friends.

I landed at the scheduled meet near Starbucks, the soon to be coffee giant of america. 

I pushed open the glass door to find her sitting on one of the more comfier sodas near the fire. She waved when she saw me, I returned the gesture. 

My mind on the other hand was in turmoil. When I looked to her I saw how she had always been. Kind, compassionate and caring, but the alternate memories told a very different picture, especially the comics, and considering how accurate they had been thus far. Who she was and what she had done in them, not to mention how she would die… It was throwing my perception of her into chaos. 

I hadn't thought about any of this during school because I was still a little out of it dealing with the new memories, my perception of everything had changed. Now though, focusing on her it was a very different ball game. 

Shaking my head, I tried to force a smile, "Yo Gwen." 

"Yo? Trying to be hip." 

"Have to be if I want to fit in with them Hipsters." 

"I can't see you in a fedora."

"Hey, if I get paid, I'd wear almost anything." 

She smiled then concerned, "Right, why weren't you coming for the ESU?"

"I thought this was about Harry?" 

"Him too, but after." 

"Ah, you play a mean game Gwendolyne Stacy." A thought suddenly occurred, "A question before we start, does anyone named Warren work there?" 

She scrunched her eyes, "No? Only a family called the Conners, and Eddie." 

I was going to have to track his @$$ down and bury the nut job if he tried anything. While I was all about giving people second chances, I was not psyched for a clone saga, or anything he came up with. Half my problems would be solved if I didn't bother with keeping Supervillains alive. I tried not to outwardly groan, and that was another problem I would have to come up with a solution to. 

Was wiping memories still immoral? Maybe punch them repeatedly in the chain until they get brain damage a bad idea? 

Ah, I'll think about it later, for now try to focus on how how to explain why I wasn't coming to the ESU. The teachers had offered internship to the two brightest in the school, which happened to be the both of us, I said I would think about it, and the teacher had stated the importance of such a matter. 

I swirled the cup of coffee in my hands, "May isn't talking to me, but we're going through some financial difficulties." 

"Oh Peter..." Her expression softened. 

"Yeah, she isn't one to say anything but I know I need to step up. And soon." It wasn't like Spidey's life as a crime fighting machine was suddenly going to stop, it was more likely it was going to be turned on its head. I needed to be stabilized soon. 

"Anything I can do to help? I know a few places I worked part-time at before- Wait is that why you aren't coming?" 

"Yeah, I don't think the ESU can pay me enough. It would be a stop gap measure, there are more problems that I need to deal with soon enough. It would be better if I tested out and finishing school in less than 6 months to a year, and start up a company in the meantime." 

She froze, "Test out...like from school, are you leaving?" 

"No, I'll be around, just wanted to finish up on the tediousness of classrooms. I need to make money and soon." I glanced to the fire beside us and took a sip, "There are other things I need to put my focus into as well."  

"You can just have a part-time job," her eyes a little wide, as she spoke fast, "or, or you could, uh join, the military!" 

"The military," a little bewildered.  

"I mean," she slumped, "Maybe not the military, definitely not." She cleared her throat taking a sip of coffee, "So are we never going to see each other again. You're just going to leave me- I mean us behind, Harry and I." 

"Gwen I'll be in the same neighborhood as you, it's not like you can't call." 

"Yeah..." She seemed to be utterly down. 

I sipped my coffee wondering if I should tell her I was Spider-Man. But it was likely that wouldn't lead to anything good, it rarely did in Spidey's life. I swirled the coffee wondering if I was basing things a little too heavily on the comics regardless of how accurate they were seeming to be. It wasn't like everything had matched up exactly, only major events and parts.  

This was a little out there, "You know I kind of wanted to see if I could hire you." 

"Huh?" 

"It's not that weird." Talking fast, "I thought I'd get a leg up on the competition by getting one of the smartest, and most capable person I know, who also has a good moral compass. Which in business and especially science seems to be rarer than a legendary pokemon." 

She raised an eyebrow, "I think I can stand to hear you go on."

I rolled my eyes, "To sum it up, you actually like science, are good at it, and you're really nice. Also working with one of my best friends is a major perk." 

She smiled, "Flattery will get you nowhere. But," she turned serious, "Are you actually serious about this?" 

"Very." 

She pursed her lips, "And Harry?" 

"If he and his dad is cool with it, I have an idea of what he could do." He was a good businessman in the comics but I didn't know how that translated here. I would have to test him to see, but of course I was going to take major precautions. I was going to get Matt Mordock to lawyer up on contracts if he was joining, the Osborn family always seemed to implode and explode not too long after Spidey appears in public. 

"I am getting paid right? As much as you're a friend Peter..." 

"Definitely, don't worry I wouldn't do that, you'd probably also head the biology division." I wasn't buttering her up or anything she was just as smart as Sue Storm or Johnny, she understood and had a passion for it. If I was going to become a company for mad inventions, she would be perfect.

She said with determined eyes, "I might try a trial period after the ESU if and only if you have a stable company and deliver on what you promise." 

"Gotchya. No worries." I felt a little nervous, I had no idea how businesses were run, but they had to start somehow somewhere...right? I knew it was going to be worth it but still I groaned internally from how much work it was going to take.

I took a sip of coffee. Best to change topics, I needed to talk to a legal and business expert on the details later, "So, what was up with Harry?" 

She took a breath, "Yeah..." 

She went on to explain how Norman Osborn had been dropped from a hundred meters up onto solid asphalt and had miraculously survived. Naturally. While it was one thing to root for the death of a Green Goblin, it was another for hearing Harry's dad had nearly been murdered lunatic in a bird costume calling himself the Vulture.

To say I had mixed feelings was an understatement. 

"Where is Harry now?" 

"He's been with his dad for the past few days and have cut off contact from everyone. I tried to visit but they wouldn't let me in." Her eyes dropped as she frowned into her cup. 

If it hadn't been confirmed Gwen was normal in most iterations I would've thought she had superpowers, "Don't worry I'll go check up on him." One face and I was ready to go see Harry, not that I wasn't going to check on him, but the words left my mouth before I could think about them. 

She smiled, "Thanks Peter." 

"No problem." She had to have superpowers.

Saturday

I entered the ESU with Gwen as she took me there, Eddie was there as he had work.

"Bro! How's hanging!" A giant smile on the tall muscular bound college student. After Jarvis he looked positively small, but he was still taller than me. He walked up and hi-fived Gwen and clasped forearms. I never understood why he did that greeting, but it was cool. 

"Not too bad." 

"Flash still giving you the up and up, I see you still have your shoes," he grinned.  

"I think he likes to sniff socks more so than the sneakers," returning the expression. 

"Come on, I'll introduce you guys." He walked us over to a family of three. A shaved blonde guy in a lab coat with a metal prosthetic for his right arm, he had a soft smile as he wrote in his notepad and typed something on the computer with his right. His name was Dr Conners, and his wife Martha Conners who was the redhead watching a little blonde haired kid was like them riding around on his skateboard must be their kid. 

They stopped what they were doing when they noticed and came to greet us. Pleasantries were exchanged Doctor Conner said, "Feel free to take a look around, we'll be in our office if you need us," and started to walk there. 

I jogged and caught up with them, "I actually have a proposition for you." 

I laid out what I had been planning getting everyone in one the idea, "That's not… a bad plan. But I would need to see prototypes and at least a base plan for what you want exactly," as Doctor Conner pulled away from the group and we had been talking serious business in his office. His wife had joined us not too long afterwards.  I was essentially a businessman and him my client. 

Basically, it was similar to an old social media site called LinkedIn from my world where instead of business associates this would be more under, 'Anyone in Academia or Pursues Knowledge'. 

That was the easy sell, the harder one would be the selling them easy to use and repair inventions than the ridiculously overpriced ones they currently had, at a lower cost in return for endorsements of both the site and the inventions that I used. 

"Show us what you have." 

I pulled them out from the backpack I had been carrying them in. They checked them over quietly asking questions when needed, and once finished they sighed and asked for some privacy. Ten minutes later, Doctor Conners had been scratching his head with the metallic arm he had as a prosthetic. 

He sighed as his wife elbowed him with a smile, "Son, you had us from the start." 

I grinned as we shook on it. Sweet I was rich now. Alright maybe no rich, but it was a start. 

"Something I wanted to mention before, why haven't you shown this to the hospitals, you'd make a killing from how many lives it would save." 

"...I need to patent it still, which is still in the process, and two," I coughed, "I didn't think about it until you mentioned it." 

He snorted, "You'll need someone helping you organize, can't be that forgetful in business." 

Once we left the office Gwen noticed us, she finished her conversation with Eddie, and asked when we had walked close enough, "What were you guys talking about?" 

Conners smiled, "Peter and I made a deal…" 

I felt the hairs on the back of my neck raise as I looked back to see a screwdriver and tool kit left strewn on the ground.

I dreamed. 

I was four. 

An unfamiliar hallway, slamming against the wall as I ran from the monster behind me. Most kids had night terrors, fears of the dark, or random phobias of monsters under the bed. 

For me, they were all too real. 

I don't know when I understood, or if it really was the first time I had seen death, but I remember sitting and watching a man in a trench coat walk up to a nice couple and chat with them for a few minutes. I looked back to my toys to see if I could stack them diagonally. 

When I looked up the couple was gone, and the man in the trench coat had blood dripping down his smile as he stared at me. 

Time passed and I had grown used to scenes like them, grown people from all ages simply disappearing after talking to strangely dressed people or sometimes funked out animals. A poodle one second was a lion with acid breathe and a snake's tail before it disappeared. 

One day I had cracked the second ever novel I have ever read. I hadn't hit puberty and my mind had still been young things and I still missed things. It was something we had been forced to read as an English Class. It had been recently popular as fantasy. It had been about modern day kids dealing with Ancient Mythology. Suddenly, everything made sense. 

The monsters, disappearing people, magic spells I had seen. I wasn't delusional, they weren't the psychosis of a lonely kid who didn't have many friends. It was a massive relief. 

But I hadn't really been thinking, my relief turned to horror when I realized how many people had been chased as kids, no one was really safe. The Novel had been surprisingly accurate rendition of a lot of what I had seen even if there was a lot missing like the glowing symbols floating in the air and the monsters that looked very strange even to the Greek mythos. 

It didn't matter how much I read, I still couldn't do anything, I had seen people try and fight them with guns, knives, glass, signposts, huge muscles, karate, and still die. 

Except two. 

Once, when a kid not much older had been running from a large dog about the size of a Humvee, with glowing red eyes. He himself held a glowing gold stick. 

When the dog lunged and he hit him, I realized it wasn't a stick. But a Sword. The monster dog had burst blood, and howled a dying cry before collapsing and dropping dead on the spot crashing into him. 

Another when some kid had gotten to close to the river and he had shouted something. A glowing word floated in front of him and fried the tentacle. 

I didn't want to be next, not when I had finally figured out why they had never targeted me over the others, but that didn't mean they wouldn't soon. I had to be ready, like Batman and Spider-Man comic we had in our class. They won using their minds and being prepared.  

I knew what I had to do.

I woke up. 

I blinked, rubbing my eyes in the glow of the full moon. 

That was a nightmare, no a memory from my alternate. Even with my alternate's memories I hadn't retained everything, there were large missing spots. Memories people took for granted or some that were simply repressed due to time, it explained a lot of who he was and the kind of world he had lived in. 

Now I was sure it was a variant on an old story 'he' had read in that world, which was a strange thing. Originally, I thought he had lived in a completely fantastical world, since that's what his most recent memories had pointed to. It was surprising where he had started out. 

I quickly wrote down the dream memory in case I had forgotten, it might come in handy later. If I didn't forget that was. 

It was very close to Percy Jackson stories, but there were massive diveragences and differences in the world. Excluding that, he himself wasn't even a Half-blood or anything like it, he seemed to be entirely human with only possessing Clear Sight with how little the Mist had affected him. 

He came across few people like him that could fight, and most of nearly everything was trying to kill him, this time a little more than normal. 

Though there was also something about how Hecate created a lot of the Mist in the Mortal world. It was vague but the definition was something like 'a veil between the supernatural and mundane warping the perception of mortals to see things into their view of reality'. 

Which now that I thought about it was rather bullshit. 

This proved to me further that I had only gotten his memories and not anything else, because in his more recent memories he had gotten a strangely multi-coloured glowing sword and had been incredibly skilled at it. His vision had also mutated for some reason. He was definitely not normal. I didn't have his vision, even in the mundane he had a type of ability to see the unseen, almost clues or things that others would miss piercing sub dimensions. 

In essence, I had none of his original abilities. 

Which sucked because the eye ability was cool as shit. He seemed to be unique in that regard as well since I hadn't seen anyone else in his memories with one. 

I yawned, putting away the book and went back to sleep. Ah, well, his monster fighting days weren't as important as his memories reading spider-man and marvel comics, those would be a lot more handy. 

I rolled over and went back to sleep.
