He stumbled upon a book called The Progenitor by Count De Vile.
He pulled it out along with a collection of dust and showed Lucas.
Lucas said "Well you found the one."
Jasper questioned "How do you know?"
Lucas replies "Count De Vile is a nickname for Dracula."
Jasper says "Perfect, I'll look through this while you find any other books that may be helpful."
After looking for a few minutes Lucas found a book called Grimoire - The Supernatural and Where to Find them.

After having a mishap Lucas dies but is transported to a space where he meets God.

God seeing his obsession with fan fiction allows Lucas to be reincarnated into any with two wishes.

Larimore High School is dubbed the Land of the Forsaken by its students. Fey Norris, a latina transfer student from a different state, isn't sure what to call it. "No." I said giving Christian the eye. 

"Yes, we are Aren come sit down." Christian says petting the spot next to him. She strolls on over and sits down. 

"God, I need new friends." I said rolling my eyes at them. 

"Hurry up with your work we're on patrol duty tonight." Aren tells me and Christian while popping gum in her mouth. 

"Seriously! We were just on duty two nights ago. What gives?" Christian said. 

"I don't know, Gamma's order." Aren said shrugging. 

"Well he is your father Aren can't you talk to him?" I ask her. I sit my work down on the coffee table. 

"Uh no you know how my father is. Plus, there's been reports of suspension around the territory line." She blows out a bubble. 

"What kind of suspensions." Christian said turning to face her. 

"Just like unfamiliar werewolf smells and paw prints." 

"What does he think it is, or who?" Christian asked. 

Aren leans up off the couch and starts to look around the room to see if anyone may be paying attention to us. We're currently in the pack house which is the main house. All the werewolves come here for business and to lounge. Right now, there's a couple of werewolves at the computers and in the kitchen. Me and Christian leaned forward to her. 

"He thinks that maybe it's Sasha." She says in a hush voice. Me and Christian eyes grow wide and we look at each other in shock. 

"I thought she was dead." I say. 

"No, the scouts said that they heard reports from Insofar that she survived the transition." Aren said. 

"Oh my god. Well what is she after then?" Christian asked. 

"Nobody knows." Aren said. 

We hear feet coming close behind us. Instantly we resumed back to what we were doing before. Aren popped her bubbles, Christian watched the game and I did my intern work. 

"What were you guys talking about?" My cousin Greta asked leaning over the couch. 

"Christian's obsession with me." Aren said laughing. He grabs Aren into a head lock and nuzzles her head with his fist. 

"You wish Deshka." Christian tells her. 

She elbowed him in the stomach. Once he let go of her she put him in the choke hold. "What did I say about calling me that." She tells him. 

Her full name is Deshka Aren Parbat. She hates her first name Deshka so she just goes by her middle name Aren. I roll eyes at them and focus my attention on Greta. 

"So, what are you doing?" She asks me. 

"Work for my dad." I tell her showing her all the paper work. 

"Mhm I don't miss being an intern. Worst days of my life I still wake up with nightmares." She said laughing. 

"It's not so bad, besides the paper work." 

"Don't let me hold you back then. See you later." She gives me a kiss on my temple and walks off. 

Quinneths P.O.V.- 

"Hey I'm home." I say loudly. 

"Hey how was your day?" I follow his voice to the living room. He sits at the couch with his reading glasses on reading a book. 

"It was decent. What are you reading?" I ask him. He closes the book to show me the cover. The books called 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell. 

"Guess what?" 

"What Quinn?" He said flipping the page on his book. 

"I missed you today." I tell him leaning over to give him a hug. 

"I missed you too. Oh, when I went to see Irene, she gave me two applications for you and Lyraina." He pointed over to the nightstand next to him at the applications. 

"Yay she came through. Thank you!" I tell him. I get off the couch and grab the applications. 

"You're welcome and don't forget to thank her." He tells me looking up from his book. 

"I will." I give him a smile and look over the pages. 

"She said the applications are due in two days so make sure you and Lyraina get it done." I give him a nod and assure him that we will. 

"I have some homework to do. I'll see you in the morning." I kiss the top of his head and head towards the stairs. 

"Don't stay up too long." He tells me. 

"You either." I resume to go upstairs and start on my school work. 

Ms. Sapphire's P.O.V.- 

Earlier in the night at the diner... 

I stare at her as she walks to her car. So naïve and innocent it's disgusting. She unlocks her car door and starts up her car. Looking to her right she sees me; she looks around in confusion thinking at I'm looking at someone else. She soon figures out that I'm not looking at anyone else, it's her. I look into her eyes; she's trying to figure me out. She is as beautiful as Myers describes her to be, too bad the beauty won't last. 

She pulls out of the parking lot and heads down the road into the night. I turn around and head back into the woods to Insofar.

"Look it's the great conjunction." I tell Alexander pointing at the sky.

"Yeah, I forgot about that. Where are they?" He asked trying to find Jupiter and Saturn in the sky. I grab on to his wrist and use his finger to show him where they are.

"There's Jupiter... Then right over there is Saturn." He follows his hand that I'm holding. "Cool huh?"

"For sure." I let go of his hand as it drops down to his side.

"Can't you imagine being apart for that long. Then having to wait 20 years to be close again." I say staring at the planets in the sky.

"You don't even know the half of it." I can feel his majestic eyes search all over my face. Reading all the stories I lay buried beneath the surface. I never wanted anyone to figure me out, will he?

Quinneth Worthingshire, who goes by Quinn, is a 17 year old teenager who attends Batcavers Highs School and works at the local antique shop in her town. 

In the town of St. Helena nothing interesting happens until she has a rather unusual encounter with a tall, dark haired handsome man.

"Whatever.. I'll just call it as potions too! Even though it's weird.." George laughed awkwardly.

George then carefully added the last ingredient for making the upelkuchen.

"Two tablespoons of wishful thinking..." He added the last ingredient, that is weird as f*ck! "What the hell is this white paste thingy?!" He wondered.

"Wait.. is it?! If anyone sees a white goo like this, we'll instantly think of that thing.. Pfft~ Nah.. I hope not!"

When George added the two tablespoons of wishful thinking, the concoctions suddenly changed from liquid to a gel-like paste. Then the concoctions thickened and shrunk a lot.

That concoctions suddenly changed it shapes like a shapeshifter. It formed into a square-shaped cake, but this cake isn't really that big... It's only like a mini jewelry box. This cake had a white fondant covering it, and it also has a black frosting decoration of words on the top of it, that says "EAT ME". 

George then grabbed the cake and touched it. It looked and feels very smooth when he rubbed the cake. "Uhh.. it's pretty weird. The concoctions turned into this small cake?! I'm pretty interested in this thing! Very interesting.. I heard that it tasted good too... Like any normal cake.. But I don't even know about whenever I wanted to taste it out!"

George then placed the drink me potion and eat me cake in the table. He placed it like what youngsters did on their Instagram.

He placed the two items strategically, so it looked aesthetically pleasing to the eye. And then he took a photo with his phone and decided to print it, to make an advertisement with it.

"Hey A.I. do you have any printer that could use bluetooth?" George asked the A.I.

「Ding! There are a few of them! Do host want the RF powered one?」 

"Of course I want the RF one! Wait.. I forgot about my real intention to come here! Let's see..."

「Ding! Do host really want the photo printer?」 

"Of course! Just give me the item! I'll check on my farm first!" George excitedly looked at his phone. He pressed the application to see the surveillance cameras on the twilight forest.

It has been a total of four hours since he came back to his shop, so.. many days have passed in the twilight forest. And when he sees the condition of his farm... 

The farm looked like it has experienced some trials and tribulations. George's face twitched when he saw that. A few people covered their ears while chasing a small figure that was running hysterically. "What happened in there?!" he then pressed the rewind button of the recording and saw a few incredible things.

The first few days after George went out from the twilight forest, the farm was still fine and was beautifully taken care of. The two pigtificates, little ginseng, and Mu Yifei helped each other on the farm. It looked like a farmer family that consists of four.

But.. on the sixth night, there are a few small animals came to the farm. Unfortunately, that small animal is very hard to see with the surveillance camera, as it was kinda dark and it's too small.

But.. The next day... A few crops are gone. The Pigtificates duo and the others panicked when they saw that in the morning. But in the end, they decided to plant more crops.

But, similar to the yesterday.. More vegetables that were quite big were uprooted from the ground. They became more anxious on this day. And tried to plant more of it.

The cycle repeated itself for a few times. And then he heard the voice of the four of them. "Oink! Mengi... I think we should take turns on guarding the farm! We can't afford to lose more of Master's precious seed!"

George blushed when he heard that. Why does that sound so wrong?!

And then Mengi said. "Okay.. I'll do it! But.. how do we say that tho the two of them? They couldn't talk with our language... And we also can't understand their language!"

In the end, they decided to use body language. It was kinda hard to do that... It literally took them almost a few days to make the humans and the ginseng loli girl to understand.

George shook his head when he saw that. "Ugh.. maybe I should give order to Mu Yifei to teach them mandarin language. The language barriers are going to be troublesome in the long run.. But.. what kind of animal that could eat the crops cleanly, that it looked like it was uprooted?" George wondered.

It was small, like a squirrel and was black, like a rat. He couldn't see it clearly with the surveillance camera.

And then George saw in the night, that very same animals crept into the farm and nibbled a certain plant.

George gulped when he saw that it was Themerm's turn to guard the farm. He was still oblivious to the fact that he might be in danger right now.

The rascal tried to eat a mandrake a little by little, so it was going to be painful to their ears...

EEK~ AAAAAAA~

Then as expected, the mandrake popped out from the ground and run like crazy. Thus creating chaos on the farm. It was a different kind of mandrake that anyone had seen before. It was exactly from the witchery mod... The mod developer is kinda crazy for putting that features. Unfortunately, they were just annoying and obnoxious. They couldn't kill you with their screams but only gave you nauseating and dizzying effects.

The culprits were very shocked by it and scattered around, while Themerm jumped from his spot... He felt really dizzy and he wanted to vomit real bad. 

The people from the house all awoke from their slumber and went to the farm. But they don't know that it was their biggest mistake when they opened the door and heard the mandrake's scream. They felt the same weird sensation.

They couldn't help but trying to kill this mandrake who ran away hysterically from them. It was very hard, as it was kinda small and very fast. George facepalmed when he saw what's happening.

George Candra, a nature enthusiast fell from a cliff and found himself awoke in the bottom of a ravine with a ton of skeletons surrounding him.

As he tried to climb up, he found out that he have a system, but it wasn't your usual system. It was... a shop. Yes... a shop.

With the coins that he found nearby, he somehow managed to survive in the bottom of the cliff. He even made a house in there, until someone crashed the house and destroyed it...

"..." He suddenly felt an urge to just demolish the house he just finished building a moment ago.

"WTF... There's a person on the roof." He poked the man and demanded compensation of the house to him, but the man can't seem to understand Indonesian, nor English.

"Uhh... Wo.. ai.. ni?"

The man's face darkened.

I really want to write something special today because, when I was a little kid I told my mom I was going to build her a rocketship with a rocking chair so she could sit in there and relax a little bit. So I'm going to do something imaginary but even slightly real, with all the gloom and despair of the nightly news but even a sliver of complete and utter hilarity and absurdity. 
It's going to have to be a dark comedy, about the racial downward spiral of today's society going completely out of control in a mad farce of equine rebellion and canine submission. For some reason the animal farm of orwell comes to mind but, I know that if it's to be at all original then I wont be able to read it again before the work begins. And so I'll just have to rework, some of the concepts in that other work, to more modernly accord and or jive, with today's bumbling leaderships, or, perhaps the demeanor(s) that they aren't quite so aware of, that they, seem to conflate and or equate, with their positions. One same concept will have to be politics told of, through the metaphor and subtlety, and ironical overtness, heard throughout that other work, in slogans and maxims such as, all animals are created equal, but just, some are more equal than others. Maybe a few others but, there where the tragedy lies, inherent in basic life, will have to come that play of short circuiting that some crave after. I was thinking I could, tie it up with a neat little bow of prequels, significant plot twists, holes, Easter eggs and other such discussion prompting elements. It should take me some time to fill this completely out to fruition but, I don't really have much else I do besides writing. And what really can I do about it besides muse on the so called factitious, headlines, brought forth and about in answer to those, twenty or so people in the world who actually rule us ALL!!, those Waltons and Putins's and Trump's oh my! (And Yes, that was a wizard of OZ reference) but, them with their amped up protection rackets, and oligarchic mysoginies blaring out at full steampunk radioactive narcissism.. or, if indeed saying all that gives them far too much credit, perhaps they'll have a little micro rebellion of their OWN and just implode in on their own systems, selves and well all just watch and idly say, I TOLD YA SO!!
P.S. let's not forget that the wizard of oz WAS the very first full color motion picture!

highly cerebral intentions mingle with those of much more physical means and ends, while a small amount of poetic alliteration interspersed with utter logic drives most of the alien and robotic narratives, the human narratives mostly just evanesce, and sometimes balk, at the unwitting impulses of its creation.

Walking down the path that lead to the gate Joshua took in long deep breaths to calm his fury. The whole situation was maddening, but he didn't want to take that attitude with him as he headed out to meet Madalyn.  As he started to take in the scenery around him and listen to the soft breeze flow through the fruit trees in the area he stopped in his tracks for a moment in surprise. There was something he had just noticed that for some reason seemed to evade his thoughts ever since they had come to this farm. "Where are all the animals?" He said out loud to himself.

 There were no songs from birds fluttering through the trees, there was no chirping of insects in the grass, and there was not a single farm animal on the largest farm in the entire area. As he passed more farms on his way to find Madalyn he was able to see there were no animals there either. It was as if they had all vanished along with the people when everything started. 'Why would all the animals disappear?' Joshua thought as he tried to find any signs of recent animal activity. Letting out a sigh he decided to put the situation to the back of his mind to investigate later, but for now he had found what he was looking for.

 One of the farms he was passing by had a pole outside the front porch with a dirtied hooded jacket hanging from it waving in the wind. The lights were on in the building and when he approached he could hear the clatter of dishes coming from inside. He knocked on the door before entering the building and came inside to see Madalyn cooking some breakfast. Her eyes were still a bit red showing that she had been crying the night before and the bruise on her face was now covered with gauze. She took one look at him before waving him over to take a seat at the dining table.

 Joshua took her up on her offer and took a seat at the table. He quietly watched as she finished a skillet of eggs and paired them with some bacon and toast she had already finished cooking. She split the food and put them on to two separate plates before setting them on the table. Then she brought a pot of coffee over and filled a cup for the both of them before settling down in the seat across from him. Clasping her hands together she said one quiet prayer to herself before starting to eat with Joshua following suit.

 The room was quiet except for the clanking of forks on their plates for the longest time. Joshua wasn't sure how to start up a conversation about what they had planned to discuss so he just decided to wait until she decided to talk. After a few more bites and a sip of her coffee Madalyn calmly put her fork down before looking towards Joshua and catching his attention. "I'm going to tell you about my past between George, this town and everything else. I just want you to listen to my story. When I'm done then we'll see if you still want to work together or not." She said calmly.

 "Alright. I'll just listen." Joshua said before putting his fork down and giving her his undivided attention.

 "I've always been a small town girl, but this town isn't the one I originally came from. There are many small farming towns around this area and many of them send their children to school in a bigger town further west of here due to the fact that most of the smaller towns only have a total of ten to fifteen kids at a time. So most kids in the area know each other from school more than from town." Madalyn started to explain.

 She got a bit of a far off look as she looked in the direction of what Joshua assumed was the school she and most of the other kids went too. "My family wasn't a very wealthy one. We owned an extremely small farm that didn't have much of a specialty and could only grow whatever we could get our hands on. My Father would sometimes have to work as hard labor on other farms just to get by while my mother would sell off some of our product in town on her own. Knowing our situation I decided that I wanted to help out as much as I could in the future, so I would study my heart out during school. I hoped to gain a scholarship for college so I could get a good job and help my parents in any way possible." She said with a far off look as if she was remembering better times even under those circumstances.

 "George on the other hand was from a rich farming family. His parents owned one of the largest farms in the entire area along with multiple small farms that they had other people operate." She said as sadness started to fill her voice at the thought of what would come next. "George was the first son so he was in line to take over in the future, but his parents took more of a liking to his little brother as he was a much smarter and a more attentive person than George ever was. Of course people didn't know that at the time so everyone still assumed he would get the farm and George's little brother would go off to college. How wrong we were." 

 Laura stood up from the table as she took their now empty plates back into the kitchen to set in the sink. She continued to tell her story as she turned on some water out of habit to clean up all of the cookware. "George and I didn't exactly fit in the same circle of friends when we went to school together. He was the big jock on campus that was a bit dull and straight forward. He played linebacker for the football team and had a lot of friends around him. I on the other hand was the quiet studious poor girl with few friends. He was a year ahead of me even though looking back on it I'm surprised at the fact he didn't have to repeat a year with the grades he had. I guess his family background helped him out there." She let out a soft chuckle at some memory that must have popped up in her head.

 "Any ways George took an interest in me in my junior year while he was a senior. All the people around me started to encourage me to go out with him, but I was more interested in my grades then having a romantic relationship at the time. At some point my parents found out and did something that would start a chain of horrible consequences for me. My father had worked at one of George's family's farms and his parents had taken an interest in me since their son seemed to be smitten with me. After a talk with them one day my father came back encouraging me to go on a date with George. At first I wanted to refuse, but after my father explained how it could be helpful for my family I decided to give it a try." She turned off the faucet as she turned around looking back towards Joshua. She walked back over and once again set across from him as she took a sip of her coffee before she continued.

 "George wasn't a bad person at first just a bit over the top. He was always easy to anger and used football as an outlet as a kid. Our relationship grew over the months and we were seen as one of the nicest couples in town at the time. Soon George was going to graduate while I still had my final year to finish. After graduation he convinced me to sleep with him." She stopped for a moment and took a deep breath before continuing. "He wasn't overly aggressive or anything, but I knew that if I had refused at the time then it could both cause problems for my family and might even cause him to start having negative emotions towards me. I had spent almost a year with him up to that point so I decided we were close enough to take the next step. That was a mistake." 

 She turned to look towards Joshua as anger started to build in her eyes. "After the first time it started to become expected for me to sleep with him when he wanted. For that summer he would always come over to my home just for that reason and my parents wouldn't care in the slightest. While all of that was going on George's parents had decided to test him to see if he would be able to handle being over their business in the future. They gave him one of their smaller farms near here and wanted to see how well he would run it. He failed spectacularly." Madalyn said with a cold look. "Whenever something wasn't going his way he would use sex as a way to get rid of his frustrations which put me right in the line of fire. I should have noticed the signs of him becoming more abusive then, but I stayed with him like a good little girl for my family. Half way through my senior year I found out that I was pregnant." The comment got a look of surprise from Joshua as he hadn't expected it.

 "By the end of my senior year not a couple of weeks after graduation I was walking down the aisle as my father handed me off in my marriage to George. Looking back on it all of those smiling faces then seemed so fake. His parents seemed disappointed in their son at the way he was handling the farm, my parents seemed to only be trying to please everyone else there, and George had the biggest fake smile of them all. He was clearly not ready to be a father…a couple months later he would get his wish. I had a miscarriage." When Madalyn said those words she looked down towards her stomach. 

 "I was devastated. I had been looking forward to being a mother so much after I had come to terms with it, but fate wouldn't allow it to be. George at first was happy with an extra pep in his step until his parents became even more disappointed in him for not giving them a grandchild. He immediately had a complete change in attitude when he learned of this and blamed everything on me. For a while we tried and tried again to have another child, but I could never get pregnant again. Soon we visited the doctor to find out why but nothing was wrong with me. Later that same night I suggested that maybe he should also get tested and that was another mistake. That was the night where he first hit me. It was a harsh slap to the face that sent me sprawling to the floor." Her eyes grew darker as she described what happened.

 "That was the first time I noticed how filled with anger he was. I was so focused on trying to have another baby that I hadn't taken notice of how quickly George was starting to explode all the time. Things only got worse when his parents had finally given up on him and named his little brother who had recently graduated as the heir to their business. George took all that anger out on me, he blamed everything on me. There was nothing I could do about it. People would just look the other way because they were afraid of his background. Even my parents didn't seem to mind since their farm was doing so much better with George's parents backing it." Her eyes started to tear up at the memory.

 "I remember going to the police to report him, I even showed them all the bruises I had to start hiding under my clothes. Instead of getting help George showed up at the police office an hour later with his big fake smile as he talked to them before taking me home. I was beaten so badly that night that I couldn't show my face in public for two weeks. I was completely trapped with no one to help me until finally this mess happened. I got my chance to break away from him and get back at him for all the things he did to me. I took it last night, I finally am free to be me again." She said with a frail smile as she looked towards Joshua. "That's my story now go ahead and say I shouldn't have done it. I'm sure those towns' folk back there already want to gun me down if they could."

 "No, I think I get it. I've been around something similar before." Joshua said as he let out a held breath before looking Madalyn back in the eyes.

 "What did your father hit your mother or something." She said with a disgruntled frown as if to say that wouldn't be the same.

 "No, gods no. If anything my mother would be the one to beat some sense into my father." Joshua waived off her claims as he chuckled at the thought. "My mother used to hold a meeting with some of her patients that she had found out had been victims of domestic violence. Since I've always wanted to become a doctor and follow in her footsteps ever since I was younger, when I became mature enough to know about those types of situations she would have me come along as well. At first a lot of them were afraid of me, but eventually they started to open up with me around. I've heard a lot of stories similar to yours in one way or another and I've learned to see the signs of domestic violence as well. If I didn't know you had some type of power to retaliate against him I would have believed you know matter what after seeing all the glaring signs."

 "So what? You pity me and that's why you want to keep me in your group?" Madalyn continued to stare at him waiting for his response.

 "That's not the case. We're in a situation where working on our own and hoping everything works out in the end will probably lead to all of us dying in the long run. I want us to work together to survive and even if you killed him I'd rather have you on my side than a backstabbing man that would have gotten half of us killed in the future. I'm not saying I fully trust you yet, but I want a chance to get to that point. That's all I'm asking for." Joshua replied truthfully laying all his thoughts before her in hopes she would give him a chance. For a while the room was once again quiet as she looked away from him and turned her gaze to a nearby window.

 "Poison." Madalyn said quietly as she continued to look out the window.

 "What?" Joshua asked.

 "My power is actually control over poison. It's not overwhelmingly powerful yet, but just a bit put into George's food killed him over night. "Madalyn explained. She noticed Joshua glance towards his cup of coffee before returning his gaze to her in surprise. "You're lucky that I'm trusting you otherwise you'd be dead within the hour." She said with a smile that made Joshua feel like he was being watched by a snake. It was not a feeling he wished to ever have again in the future.

Joshua is a young man fresh out of college and preparing for medical school. After dropping his friend off at the airport and packing up he takes a road trip to Las Vegas to meet up with his family on vacation. On the way a weird ringing sound grabs his attention and before long take his consciousness. When he wakes up the world has changed, several people have disappeared, and dead miasma born creatures walk the streets. Will Joshua be able to survive his circumstances and figure out the mysteries of the strange occurrence?

This story will be PG-13 (didn't want to say general audiences considering some vivid imagery)

"R-rated romance movies aren't for everyone. How about a change of subject, since you look a little uncomfortable: What's your favorite book series?"
"I am currently reading Ian Fleming's 'Casino Royale'. The first installment of the James Bond series. Pretty much anything action, adventure, or mystery. Some of my all-time favorite series include Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson, J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter, and Anthony Horowitz's Alex Rider. I also enjoy 'Lord of the Rings', 'The Chronicles of Narnia', Encyclopedia Brown, Nancy Drew, The Hardy Boys, and may others. What about you?"
"I've always enjoyed the classic dystopian sci-fi novels, such as '1984', 'Animal Farm', 'I, Robot', 'Dune', and 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. My mom also insisted that I read Jane Austen, Nicholas Sparks, and other romance authors. That's how I got into E. L. James and J. Kenner."
"So, you're a nerd and a romantic." I catch myself giggling a bit. {Gosh, what is this man doing to me. I've become a blushing schoolgirl.}
"Fine, go ahead. Make fun of me. But in my defense Orwell and Asimov are good writers. And you can't tell me that 'Pride and Prejudice' isn't a good book. It has history and finesse. What more could you want?"
"Okay, okay! I didn't mean to offend you, I'm just surprised is all."
"What, that I read romance novels?"
"No. That you read actual books."
"Harsh. But understandable. Most actors and celebrities don't portray themselves in a way that suggests any of us have the time or willingness to sit and read anything other than tabloid articles about ourselves."
We continue to talk about books for a while. Both pizzas were amazing. All good things must come to an end though. Austin takes me home and kisses me goodnight. It's an unexpected, but soft and gentle kiss. {Wow. I guess a second date isn't out of the question then.}
"Goodnight, Alexandra."
"Goodnight." {Something about the way he says my name in that dark accent of his drives me wild. I just hope that he doesn't notice.}
I take a shower I notice a new text from Austin. [Hey, I had a good time tonight. Would you like to go on a second date? I was thinking we could go to the movies sometime during the next week.] {Maybe it's best I leave that for tomorrow morning. That way I'm not making a hasty decision, right?}
 
When I woke up, I responded to Austin's text: [I have a commission due at the end of the week, but I think I can spare enough time for a date.]
[Good. Let's say Friday at 6?]
[Sounds like a plan.]
[It's a date then. 😉]
I call my mom, as I do almost every Sunday. She is excited that I've actually gone out on a date for once. Everything is going well at home, and we are all set for dinner tonight. She tells me to invite Zach, and I agree that it would be good for him after dinner with his mother.
I decide to go talk to him in person and drive over to his apartment.
"Hey. I wasn't expecting you today. Is everything alright?"
"Yeah. My mom invited you to dinner tonight. I told her about dinner with your mother the other day."
"Okay." He laughs a bit, and I can't help but smile. "I'll go to dinner with you and your family."
"I will text her to let her know."
"Uh… just out of curiosity, how was your date with Austin last night?"
"It was great! Have you heard of Pizza Pi? Their mac'n'cheese pizza is surprisingly amazing."
"Pi as in 3.14?"
"Yep. Kinda funny if you think about it."
"I think Sam said something about that place at some point. Maybe it had something to do with one of her dates. I can never keep them all straight. Anyway, how did it go? Do you have a second date lined up?"
"Actually, yes. Friday at 6. I believe we are headed to a movie theater."
"That sounds like fun. I'm glad you had a good time. Speaking of time, we should probably get going before your parents start to worry about your whereabouts."
