Blondie was laughing. It sounded shrill in his ears. "I was thinking of having a little fun. But if you're looking for a duchess, I'm at your service."
The Caribbean beauty sulked at these words. Alexandre leaned over, hungrily pressing his lips onto hers. Her lips were soft and tender. She moaned, immediately allowing his tongue to enter her mouth. It tasted like a sweet guava.
The showgirl trembled slightly under his hand. He liked angry sex, then he let go of the dark-haired girl, lifted the chin of the American and then kissed her without restraint. Suddenly the exotic girl slipped from his lap. He heard the water splashing and she swam away. With dark eyes he looked at her back. "Don't you want to have an adventure with the three of you? I was going to make the two of you my duchesses tonight." He purred. "How about an adventure on the high seas?" With one hand he removed the cloth from Blondie's chest. His eyes were dark as he looked at her white hills. But when he looked up again... There was a silent rage in her eyes. He raised his eyebrows in wonder. Suddenly a slap. 
"An adventure alone is more likely!" His cheek burned as he put his hand on it. He was confused. "Bastards like you think they could do anything!" She snorted loudly, jumped into the water, and finally gave his island a violent push.
Alec fell down and fell into the water. Everything was spinning around him. He didn't know which end was up. The alcohol shot up in his head. His body was paralyzed. Water burned his lungs as he tried to catch his breath. Confusing him even more. His muscles contracted painfully. He flailed around wildly, but his muscles tightened even more. As he sank like a stone and the current pulled at him. Pulled him into the sea. Bright sunbeams burst through the dark surface of the sea.
But suddenly a woman's face appeared in front of him. A mermaid. Eyes as clear as turquoise seas. Her hair fluttering around him like rays of sunlight. She reached under his arms and pulled him to the surface. Pressing him against her soft breasts. "Breathe." Roared her voice at him. "Breathe." He heard in the distance. Then he felt velvety-soft lips on his. Air was pressed into his lungs. It hurt like hell. A stream of water came out of his mouth and nose. He turned his head to the side and spat it out. Dark spots danced in front of his eyes. As he recognized the shining face of his mermaid. She had saved him. Her look was worried, but at the same time so proud.
Alec felt butterflies fluttering in his belly.

The statements have been documented by fact-checkers, and the media have widely described the phenomenon as unprecedented in American politics. Many of his comments and actions have also been characterized as racially charged or racist.

During his presidency, Trump ordered a travel ban on citizens from several Muslim-majority countries, citing security concerns; after legal challenges, the Supreme Court upheld the policy's third revision. He enacted a tax-cut package for individuals and businesses, rescinding the individual health insurance mandate. He appointed Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Mueller also investigated Trump for obstruction of justice, and his report neither indicted nor exonerated Trump on that score. The House of Representatives launched an impeachment inquiry following a September 2019 report that Trump had abused his presidential power by pressuring the president of Ukraine to undertake actions which would have the effect of helping Trump's 2020 re-election campaign. Early life and education
Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, at the Jamaica Hospital in the borough of Queens, New York City.[1][2] His father was Frederick Christ Trump, a Bronx-born real estate developer, whose own parents were German immigrants. Looking at the Legal Power of Attorney, Gu Nianzhi was silent for a long while.
Holding her phone, she paced up and down her room. Finally, she leaned against her pillow and said tactfully, "Professor He, I don't think it's necessary for me to have a legal representative now. You know that I study law as well, even though you're a reputable lawyer who is a consultant, and there are many out there who want you to be their legal representative but wouldn't have the chance to—"
"But you're not willing to let me?" He Zhichu interrupted Gu Nianzhi. He was becoming more and more pale. He looked at the cars driving past him and the clear blue sky. He could hear birds chirping, and a flock of pigeons flew as people walked through them. Everything was perfect, but she wasn't with him.
Gu Nianzhi hesitated, thinking of ways to convince He Zhichu. She did not wish to sign an agreement like that, but she didn't want to rudely reject him like she had in the past.
Perhaps this was the exact meaning of growing up— hiding one's own true feelings. Gu Nianzhi felt that as a grown adult, she should not be behaving so petulantly, venting her emotions all the time.
After waiting a few moments, as Gu Nianzhi was remained silent, He Zhichu finally guessed what her answer would be.
He hung up and switched his phone off.
He sat alone in his car, expressionless, like a sculpture—beautiful, but lifeless.
He sat there for a long time, with cars on the expressway zooming past him. He just couldn't bring himself to move. There was so much life passing around him, but none of it belonged to him. The one that did, had left him. No matter what he did, she always left him alone.
He leaned on his steering wheel, buried his face into his elbow, and stayed there. After a while, a police car stopped behind him. An officer came over to check on him, tapping on the window.
"Mister, are you okay?"
He Zhichu was his Maserati. The officer knew that the person driving the car could either be someone incredibly rich or an esteemed politician so he tread carefully in order to avoid unnecessary trouble.
He Zhichu straightened up slowly and looked at the cop. Shaking his head, he said, "I'm just resting because I'm a little tired. I'll leave now." He started his engine.
The police officer quickly said, "Book a hotel room to rest if you're tired. Don't drive in this state. It's dangerous."
He Zhichu's eyes were dark and bloodshot On top of that, he was as pale as a sheet. One look and anyone could tell that the man wasn't getting any sleep.
Concerned about his safety, the police officer trailed slowly behind him in his cruiser while He Zhichu drove. He only left when He Zhichu's car entered the South gate of B University.
When He Zhichu returned to his office, the first thing he did was put up an announcement that the exams for the teaching assistant position would be delayed because he was flying back to America for a few weeks. He would be back after two weeks after which the exams for the 10 candidates would be conducted.
He Zhichu left almost immediately after this, only taking with him his passport and wallet—nothing else. He took the earliest flight to New York. He needed to be as far away from Gu Nianzhi as possible, otherwise he would go mad, He Zhichu felt.
The news of him leaving the country soon spread to Huo Shaoheng.
Huo Shaoheng sat thinking about it after receiving this piece of information from Zhao Liangze.
Leaning against the sofa's backrest, Yin Shixiong crossed his legs and said slovenly, "This Professor He is quite smart isn't he? Not only did he approve of Nianzhi's medical leave, but he also found a reason to return to America. Now no one will realize Gu Nianzhi's leave or absence!"
Chuckling, Zhao Liangze kicked Yin Shixiong playfully. "Not only was he smart, but also he put in so much effort too."
"Honestly, looking at how Professor He treats Nianzhi, it's actually quite comparable to Mr. Huo. It's very obvious that he's treating Nianzhi way better than he does his other students!" Yin Shixiong said happily.
"That makes sense actually. One of them is a professor, and the other is her guardian. Both are her elders, so of course they both care for her."
Zhao Liangze was now hiding behind Yin Shixiong as he said. He didn't want to face Huo Shaoheng's gaze.
Huo Shaoheng did not respond to his two secretaries, though he waved his hand, signaling for them to leave the room. He looked at the computer, busy with work. No one else knew, however, that he wasn't paying attention to the screen.
His thoughts were fully consumed by the weird feelings He Zhichu displayed towards Gu Nianzhi.
Why did He Zhichu show so much concern for Gu Nianzhi?
Was he already showing concern to her more than a professor?

Was it during the six months they were on exchange in America, or maybe earlier than that?
Huo Shaoheng thought over of this silently with all the focus he had; a clue flashed in his mind, he couldn't grasp what it was before it disappeared.
Standing up, he crossed his arms and paced around the study. He couldn't figure it out at all.
Using the intercom, he called for Zhao Liangze.
"Is anything the matter, Mr. Huo?"
"Little Ze, I had asked you to run a check on He Zhichu and Wen Shouyi a while back. Did you do it?" Huo Shaoheng stood by the window, distracted by his thoughts.
Nodding, Zhao Liangze went to his desk and then returned, handed Huo Shaoheng a set of documents. "I've checked again, but it was similar to what I had found last time. But if you were to look at the timeline of this document from the start, you'd realize that it's quite interesting."
Opening the document, Huo Shaoheng flipped through it while listening to Zhao Liangze's explanation.
"These documents indicate that the He's are one of the wealthy families in North America. Their assets span across a good portion of the region. He Zhichu and Wen Shouyi have citizenships in Argentina, Brazil, England, and America. He Zhichu himself has great influence in the political and military areas in America as well."
Huo Shaoheng flicked his fingers at the document: "This final point wasn't here the last time."
"Yes, that's correct. I recently added the influence He Zhichu had in the political and military worlds." Zhao Liangze coughed and then said, "If it had not been for Nianzhi, we would not have seen this side of He Zhichu."
He was referring to the dispute Gu Nianzhi had with Xin Xinggao in America and the incident she'd met with at the Caribbean Sea.
He Zhichu had been in the commanding position for both of these incidents and it showed the vast amount of power and influence he possessed to have been able to help Gu Nianzhi get through those tough times.
Huo Shaoheng looked at the documents, and said, "The He's have been keeping low profile all these years. However, 7 years ago, He Zhichu became the largest shareholder of the biggest law firm in America. That brought the financial power of the He's into the limelight."
"Yes, and then, 3 years ago, He Zhichu entered the Law faculty in Harvard University as a lecturer. He started off as an assistant Professor. In merely two years, he became their long term professor and received the rights to conduct consultations for PhD students. Last year, he accepted the invitation of B University as an adjunct professor in their law faculty."
Walking to the front of Huo Shaoheng's work desk, Zhao Liangze leaned forward on it, lowering his voice.
"Mr. Huo, look at the time line: the year that He Zhichu entered Harvard as a professor is the same year that Nianzhi began studying in C University."
Huo Shaoheng nodded slowly with a gaze so deep and dark that no one could have guessed his thoughts.
"If I'm understanding this part here correctly," Huo Shaoheng pointed, "when Nianzhi graduated last year, He Zhichu decided to accept master's student for understudy all of a sudden. The law faculty at B University was way stronger than C University's, but instead of accepting the students there, he decided to come to C University and interview Nianzhi specially."
"Yes!" Zhao Liangze clenched his fists and hit them on the table with a loud thud. He continued agitatedly with bright eyes, "Nianzhi was sick that time I think, and had missed the interview. I remember Big Xiong going to the school to apply for medical leave for her, and he came back full of criticisms about He Zhichu's attitude! He grumbled for a long time after, wondering what was so good about a professor like that, and that it'd be better if Nianzhi wasn't selected."
Speaking of Gu Nianzhi falling 'ill' that time, Huo Shaoheng lowered his head uneasily and avoided Zhao Liangze's eyes. Covering his mouth with one hand, he coughed lightly and then said, "Basically, we can conclude that the things He Zhichu did...he was doing them specifically for Nianzhi."
Zhao Liangze nodded enthusiastically.
"Yes! That's it!" He leaned in again and asked, "Mr. Huo, do you think that He Zhichu knows Nianzhi from before?!"
The mystery of Nianzhi's family background would finally be solved if it was really the case.
The truth, which they had been investigating for six to seven years, would be coming to light; Zhao Liangze was beyond excited.
Huo Shaoheng fell silent for a long while. Zhao Liangze worried that he disagreed with him. Then he heard Huo Shaoheng say, "It's possible, but there's also another thing."
"What?"
"He was intentionally getting close to Nianzhi, but in fact, he had a background reminiscent of an individuals from the CIA, the British Military Intelligence, or Israel's Mossad, for example."
"You mean, there might be a chance that He Zhichu is a Special agent from these countries?!" Zhao Liangze was stunned.
However, he had tracked this for a long time. "No, he could never be a special agent for one of those countries. They could never afford him. He's like the underground pastor of North America. Even the Presidential election candidates must be approved by the He's before they can apply for it. So, the intelligence from the countries would have been controlled by He Zhichu. Not the other way around."

Completing 9 years of elementary school at age 14, Lion receives the result of his test to enter the Federal Institute, the best public high school in the country, as the school system mixes high school to technical education, Lion chose the course technician in industrial mechanics, for being an option that has a campus in his city.

* He could choose the course of industrial mechanics or chemistry that exists on the campus of his city, but he chooses to leave the comfort zone and know a different area than he has been since he was a child, for many of the things he learned from his mother and father, will be attending the course of chemistry.

Lion has always assisted her mother in her work, as well as other co-workers who are struggling to preserve what remains of the Atlantic rainforest, and this year he took a stage in the recovery unit of abandoned, run-down, trafficked animals.
There he falls in love with a turtle, which was abandoned because it gets too big, when asked what Christmas wants he asks for a terrarium or that his parents make a lake at home so he can adopt the turtle.
After thinking a lot and analyzing the fact that Lion already has 25 other animals and still have not given any type of work except feed cost to the animals he can not plant or raise food alone, and also that a small pond would be legal and that they could leave all work to Lion, they have a pond, and today they bring the lucky turtle home.

Gun-Ho was heading to his work when his Land Rover was running out of gas. Gun-Ho stopped by at a gas station in Baekseok Town, Cheonan City to fill up the tank of his car. He was heading out when he received a call from S Group's former vice president.
"President Goo? I'm afraid that I will have to take a rain check for our lunch appointment today."
"Something happened?"
"One of my close relatives just passed away. He was in Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. Since he didn't have any children, I will have to handle everything for him."
"I am so sorry to hear it. We can have our lunch at any time, sir."
"Me too. I know that you are a busy man, and I know you make time today for me."
"No, it's okay, really. When everything gets settled, just let me know, so we can have our lunch then."
 
Gun-Ho was reading a newspaper in his office when the directors and managers started pouring into his office.
"Oh, that's right. Today is a meeting day."
The managers and directors in uniform were all carrying a note with them for the meeting. It was the first meeting for the new chief officer of the research center; he joined the meeting instead of the former chief officer. Without the former chief officer and former plant manager, the members of the executive group looked more vibrant and young overall.
A total of five members attended the meeting today: Sales Director Dong-Chan Kim, Construction Director Hee-Byeong Yoon, General Affairs Director Joon-Young Choi, the new research center's chief officer— Joon-Soo Oh, and Internal Auditor Hee-Suk Goh. Director Jong-Suk Park couldn't attend the meeting since he was in the U.S. for training.
"Let's get started with the sales report. We will hear the report from the general affairs department later."
As Gun-Ho instructed, the sales director started giving a report.
"We are ordering raw materials from Seongil Polymer once again for the products, T-Cap that we provide to H Mobis. We have sold 50,000 of them last week, and the total sales revenue is…"
Gun-Ho looked at his watch and the sales director took it as a sign that he was making Gun-Ho feel bored. The sales director started wrapping up his report. After the sales report was done, the construction director and the chief officer of the research center gave their reports by turns as well. Receiving reports by itself took about an hour. Gun-Ho made some comments on them from time to time.
"The plant manager in the production department is now in an advisory position and the production director, Jong-Suk Park is in the US for training. So, please visit the production department in turns while their director and manager are absent."
"Yes, sir."
"I had worked at a production department as an apprentice years ago, and I know, from my personal experience, that the production field could become slow when there is no one supervising it."
"We will take turns in supervising the production field until Director Park comes back."
Once the meeting was over, a bunch of reports piled up on Gun-Ho's desk waiting for his approval. Gun-Ho didn't review all of them thoroughly but he sometimes read just the title of a report before he signed it.
 
Around 10 AM, Gun-Ho usually started reading an economic newspaper or watching the news on his smartphone, after reviewing the reports and signing them. That day, Gun-Ho was watching the news with his smartphone when he received a call from Tokyo. It was Ji-Yeon Choi— the restaurant owner in Akasaka, Tokyo.
"President Goo? It's really hard to get in touch with you these days. It seems that you haven't come to Tokyo recently."
"I've been really busy with my factory work. I know I should visit Tokyo soon."
"I can tell that you have been really busy there since I am reading a Korean newspaper from here too. I am aware that you will soon start a joint venture with the American company, Dyeon and also you acquired RiverStar Building in Gangnam."
"I see."
"But you have Mori Aikko here who you have to take care of. You can't just let her be here by herself all the time."
"Haha. I will make time to visit her soon."
"I received a call this morning from Mama-san Segawa Joonkko of the bar in Shinjuku."
"What did she say?"
"She said Mori Aikko is in a hospital right now."
"What? Is she okay? Is it serious?"
"She got a kidney stone or something. I forgot the exact word already. President Goo, if you can't come to visit her to the hospital, call her at least."
"I will go see her right away. Thank you for letting me know."
Gun-Ho called for his secretary, Hee-Jeong Park immediately.
"I will need a flight ticket to Tokyo, Japan. I will leave tomorrow. I don't need a travel visa, so just reserve a flight ticket leaving tomorrow."
"Yes, sir."
 
When Gun-Ho arrived in Japan, he first stopped by New Otani Hotel in Akasaka, Tokyo and reserved a room for himself. He wanted to leave his luggage at the hotel before going to see Mori Aikko at a hospital. Gun-Ho first went to the restaurant in Akasaka which Ms. Ji-Yeon Choi was running; he was carrying cosmetics that he purchased at the duty-free shop at the airport. But Ms. Ji-Yeon Choi was not there. Gun-Ho left the cosmetics with a staff at the restaurant and made a call to her.
"President Choi? I just came to your restaurant and you are not here. Do you have the name of the hospital where Mori Aikko is at?"
"Hahaha. You came so fast because your lover is sick. Give me one moment; I will find it out for you."
After a moment, Gun-Ho received a call from President Choi.
"It's Tokyo Women's Medical University Hospital. She is in the room no. 1206. Her examination was done, and she will have an operation today."
"Where is Tokyo Women's Medical University Hospital?"
"It's in Kawadacho, Shinjuku. Why don't you take a taxi? All taxi drivers should know where that hospital is."
"Sounds good. Thank you."
 
Gun-Ho arrived at Tokyo Women's Medical University Hospital, and he headed to the patient's room no. 1206. When Gun-Ho entered the room, Mori Aikko was reading a cartoon book on a bed in a half-sitting position. Mama-san Segawa Joonkko was there too. She was looking at her smartphone while sitting next to Mori Aikko.
"Mori Aikko!"
"Oppa?!"
Mama-san stood up and greeted Gun-Ho as well.
"You came."
"I must look so ugly now. I didn't even wash my face today."
"Don't worry about it. You are always pretty."
Mama-san chipped in,
"Her surgery is scheduled at 3 pm today. After the doctor who has been taking care of Mori Aikko completes his ambulatory care duty, he will start her surgery."
"Is she seriously ill?"
Mama-san said some words describing Mori Aikko's illness, but Gun-Ho couldn't understand the word. When Mama-san realized Gun-Ho couldn't understand the Japanese word of that illness, she wrote corresponding Chinese characters on the cartoon book which Mori Aikko was reading. It said kidney stones.
"Oh, kidney stones!"
Gun-Ho nodded his head showing he now understood.
 
Gun-Ho looked around the hospital room where Mori Aikko was staying at. She was sharing the room with several other patients and the room didn't seem to help Mori Aikko take a good rest.
"Let's move her to a first-class hospital room."
Mama-san nodded her head.
Once Mama-san left the room, Gun-Ho and Mori Aikko left alone. Gun-Ho held Mori Aikko's small hand.
"You will be fine."
"I know."
"They just need to take out stones from your kidney. No big deal."
Aikko nodded her head.

This is the story of a poor young man whose poverty even shreds apart their family willing to climb his way through society and into the top. A very realistic novel that moves away from fantasy and sci-fi and focuses solely on the issues of society and life.

The sun rays shined on the Land of the Rising Sun, as a plane landed down in Narita airport, Japan. A girl with the name Yukimura Kahoru smiled to herself, as she looked out the small oval-shaped window whilst waiting for the plane to stop, so she could let herself step out and breathe the fresh air of her homeland.

The twenty-two-year-old girl was on the chubby side and sometimes got stared at for her size. Regardless, she was still positive and bright. Her natural dark brown hair was a shoulder-length bob with a full fringe that covered her eyebrows. With her bright chocolate brown eyes and her contagious smile, she could make anybody smile no matter how scary they were.

She had spent five years in the United States studying and becoming an intern at one of her family's medical branches. Kahoru's family owned a few hospitals in some countries and the hospital was well known for their polite and well-trained doctors and professional surgeons.

Most of her family members were all in the medical scene. It was natural that she became a doctor. She was training as a general surgeon. She was always with her father at the hospital when she was very young and she had learnt many things throughout the years; she had learnt how to diagnose a few illnesses when she was ten years old. Kaho had come back to Japan to visit her family and friends.

After departing from the aeroplane, Kahoru powerwalked towards the baggage claims, to collect her suitcase. As she arrived at the number isle the passengers were told to go, the bags hadn't come yet. Kahoru watched the empty conveyor belt spin and after ten minutes, bags and suitcases appeared. To her luck, the first thing that came out was a large salmon-pink suitcase. It was Kahoru's. She quickly went to grab her suitcase and barely dragged it off as it was heavy.

As soon she had grabbed her suitcase, she quickly made her way through customs and towards the arrivals gate. She was exhausted and slowed down her pace and slowly walked out of the automatic doors of the arrivals gate. As she looked at the faces of the people waiting for their friends or family to arrive, Kahoru did not find a single familiar face. She thought her family was late. As she made her way to an empty seat, she sat down and checked her phone for the time. Suddenly her phone started to buzz. It was her younger brother Ryutaro. She quickly accepted the call and lifted her phone to her ear. "Hello?" 
"Kaho-nee! Where are you?" An excited voice boomed out. Kahoru jumped and suddenly was wide awake.
"I just left arrivals. Where are you?"
"Um, I'm kind of hiding."
"Hiding where?"

Just in the corner of her eye, a tall pretty boy stood next to a pillar sort of away from the crowd of arriving passengers. He wore reflective sunglasses and an oversized orange hoodie with black denim jeans. Now that looked like someone who was hiding. He also had his phone up to his ear and looked around like he had lost his sheep.

Kahoru started to walk towards him and at the same time, the boy turned. He raised his sunglasses up with his other hand and his expression lit up but he dared not move but hung up the phone. Kahoru grinned and trotted to her younger brother. He waved at her and she waved back. Kahoru finally arrived at the pillar and Ryutaro hugged her. 

"Long time no see Ryu." Kahoru smiled back. Yukimura Ryutaro is one of Kahoru's three brothers. Two of them were half brothers. She also had a half-sister.

Ryutaro was her full-blooded brother. He was also the only member of the family who didn't choose to become a doctor. He was in the entertainment industry as a young actor. Ryutaro was younger than Kahoru by three years. He wasn't very well known since he had started just recently but he had somehow accumulated a small fan base. "Let's go home! Everyone is excited to see you!" Ryutaro playfully slapped Kahoru's back as he grinned.
"Mm!" Kahoru grinned back as she rubbed her back.

As they drove to the family residence Ryutaro had proceeded to ask many other questions. "How's Mei-nee doing?"

"She is doing good. It's been very busy recently so we haven't had time to talk."

Mei was Kahoru's older half-sister who ran the American branch of the Yukira medical group. She was 5 years her senior. She goes by the last name 'Tang' now as she had gotten married to a Chinese man named Tang Sheng. They both have a daughter who is two years old. Her name was Rachel.

Sheng was a medical student at Harvard University and now he was the owner of the Yukira Medical group now at a young age. He had met Mei at the university and dated for a few years before getting married and having a beautiful little girl.

After their small talk, Kahoru had fallen asleep. It had been an hour and a half since they had driven and finally, they have arrived at the Yukimura Residence. The residence was located in the south of Tokyo. "Kaho-nee! Wake up. We're home!" Ryutaro poked Kahoru's cheek.

Kahoru slowly opened her eyes then rubbing them with her hands. Ryutaro grabbed her arm and suddenly dragged her out of the car. "R-Ryu what are you doing?!"

"Everyone is waiting! Hurry up!"

"Let me stretch first." Kahoru gave Ryutaro an icy glare and his spine shuddered.

"Don't be so cold to me sis..." Ryutaro pouted.

Kahoru chuckled as she stretched her body. "Don't drag me out of the car like that next time."

As the siblings made their way into the residence, the maids had followed them behind with Kaho's Luggage. Another maid opened the door for them and led them inside. 

"We're home!" Ryu suddenly shouted. A few seconds later a head popped out from the living room.

"Kaho-chan! Welcome home!" A middle-aged lady ran towards Kahoru.

"Mother, I'm home!" The mother and daughter had been reunited and hugged tightly.

"How is everything in America? I hope your sister is not mean to you."

"Everything is fine and Mei-nee is very good to me. I've learnt so much in such a short time!"

"I'm very glad to hear that."

Kahoru's mother Aiko held both of Kaho's hands. While they were chatting, A middle-aged man walked up to them. Kaho noticed the man behind her mother. "Father!"

She quickly let go of her mother's hands and excitedly hugged him."How have you been Kaho?"

"I've been good!"

"Makato! Don't steal my daughter from me!" Aiko pouted. Yukimura Makoto is Kahoru's father and the head of the Yukimura family.

"Don't forget about me." A man interrupted.

He looked very tired but he still smiled. He looked to be about ten years older than Kaho.

Next to him was a lady just shorter than Kahoru. She held a young boy who looked to be around four years old.

It was Kahoru's older brother Yukimura Kenjiro and his wife Yukimura Nana. The young boy was Ren, their son. "Onii-san! Nana-onee san! Long-time no see! You too Ren-kun!"

Everyone smiled at each other. As they chatted at the doorway, a maid interrupted them. "Sorry for interrupting, breakfast is ready."

The family had sat down at the dinner table ready to eat some breakfast. The chef had served pancakes with a slice of melting butter and a dollop of whipped cream on top. It was sprinkled with kiwi, strawberries, blueberries and bananas. Then to finish it off with chocolate powder and maple syrup. Kaho's eyes twinkled as she cut a piece. When she put the pancake in her mouth her tastebuds exploded. "It's so delicious!"

"Watch your weight. Don't eat so much."Kaho immediately stopped chewing and opposite her was a boy 2 years younger than her about to sit down. Had a neat appearance and a cold demeanour to him.

He wore rectangle framed glasses. This was Kahoru's younger half-brother. Yukimura Shintaro. "Shintaro! Long-time no see!"

"Yes. Long-time no see." Shintaro smiled.

"Oi Shin?! Where did you go last night? You didn't even come home!" Ryutaro complained.

"That isn't your business"

"Don't tell me you were picking up girls without me!"

Shintaro remained silent. He gave a cold stare like summer had suddenly turned into winter. Ryutaro kept his mouth shut.

Shintaro was a medical student at The University of Tokyo. Unlike his bright personality siblings, he was quieter and a bit cold. He had a different mother, and Mei and Kenjiro had different fathers from the three siblings. Aiko had Kenjiro and Mei before she had met Makoto.

When Kaho was two years old, her father had been kidnapped and drugged after a fallout with a lady who was more powerful. She was insane and was obsessed with Makoto.

The woman had raped him and had the child nine months later. Four years later she suddenly showed up at his doorstep and just abandoned her son. Not once they had seen her since.

Aiko had raised the child as it was her own. The child was Shintaro. Everyone loved each other and although there were a lot of quarrels, their bond was unbreakable.

No matter how far they were in the world, there would always be a string that connected them.

They were also one of the most powerful families in the medical field in Japan as they have expanded their headquarters to multiple counties and they were a well known and respected group.

"Kahoru. You've been on a long flight. Once you finish breakfast, take a bath and rest. The jet lag must be rough on you." Makoto spoke in a stern tone.

"I will father." Kaho smiled. After breakfast, Kaho went straight to the bathroom and took a warm bath. She smiled and thought to herself, since it was a Saturday today, two weeks from now, her year level from high school was going to have a reunion.

They had one every two years ever since school had ended. She hadn't been to her previous reunions as she was overseas. She couldn't wait to see her friends and boyfriend. She was beaming with joy.

After her bath, Kaho was refreshed and went straight to her room. The moment she laid on her bed, she fell asleep.

A few years after disappearing from her family and friends, after the death of her mother, and her beloved partner betraying her, a general surgeon returns to her homeland only to somehow end up in an arranged marriage set up by her father, changing her life completely. 

What adventures will await her?

"I will accept the marriage, will you?"
