I'm using this to set the stage for this novel (as in the setting of the novel) so as to not confuse myself or anyone else.
This is my first time writing a novel so there would be countless mistakes so please help correct me via comments and please do send feedback so that the quality will improve.

Untuk menulis, author itu perlu mood yang baik, bukan hanya perlu waktu dan jari-jemari untuk mengetik. Saya udah duduk di depan laptop dari tadi malam lho, tapi nggak bisa menulis satu patah kata pun. Suerr, saya udah nyoba tapi nggak bisa.

Kenapa? Ada dua hal.

KOMENTAR PEMBACA:
Kemarin ada yang tulis review/ulasan novel "The Alchemists" dan menuduh saya ingkar janji. Pas saya cek, pembaca satu ini sudah mengikuti novel "The Alchemists" selama 227 bab dan baru komen 3 kali, semuanya NGGAK ENAK dibaca. 

"Janji 2 bab perharinya mana mba???
Sepertinya mba sibuk.
Please, jangan berjanji jika tidK bisa menepati."

dulu yang bersangkutan pernah komen begini (yang saya ignore walaupun saya nggak merasa kasih janji2 palsu ya)
"Mba mau ngasih saran aja nih..
Kalau emang lagi sibuk dan belum bisa kirim cerita terbaru, gak usah janji-janji palsu segala...
Tiap hari kayaknya ada aja alasannya deh."

Saya nggak pernah ya tidak menepati janji saya untuk update bab. Kalau pun publishnya delay, saya selalu kasi pemberitahuan atau minta maaf. Sejak novel ini diterbitkan tanggal 20 Februari 2019 sampai sekarang 8 Agustus 2018, baru ada 178 hari, tetapi bab yang terbit sudah di atas 220 bab, artinya ada hampir 50 bab ekstra yang saya update selama ini.

Mengenai janji saya untuk update 2 kali sehari kalau kita masuk 50 besar di versi Global, mohon dibaca akhir bab 219, saya akan update MULAI tanggal 12 Agustus, sebanyak 2 bab sehari selama seminggu.

Sesusah itu kah membaca? Tapi gampang banget untuk komplen dan menyakiti hati orang lain?

Ini ya... saya tulis ulang targetnya, bisa dicek di bab 219. Kalau masih ada yang juga salah paham dengan target ini dan berapa jumlah bab yang akan kita dapat minggu depan, bisa dicek lagi yaa... Biar sama-sama enak dan nggak ada yang merasa saya nggak menepati janji.

TARGET:
Kalau berhasil masuk 50 besar di minggu depan = saya update 2 bab per hari mulai tanggal 12 Agustus 2019 selama seminggu. 

Kalau berhasil masuk 20 besar di minggu depan = saya update 2 bab per hari selama seminggu mulai tanggal 12 Agustus 2019 dan di tanggal 17 Agustus-nya saya update 5 bab sekaligus untuk merayakan 17- Agustusan.

Saya ga mau dianggap sebagai penulis manja yang dikit-dikit ngambek klo menerima omongan nggak enak, tapi saya mau bantu meluruskan saja, biar kita fair. Saya mengerti kalau pembaca kadang terlalu bersemangat dan ingin membaca terus dan tanpa sadar nulis komen yang kurang enak di hati. Sekali dua kali gpp kok, namanya juga manusia. Tapi tolong jangan jadi kebiasaan. Kasian pembaca yang lain soalnya, jadi kena dampak saat mood penulis menjadi rusak dan tidak bisa menulis. 

Banyak teman-teman penulis lain di Webnovel ini yang mengalami hal serupa, tulisan yang susah payah mereka buat menuai komentar sepihak yang nggak enak dan bikin mereka down... akhirnya nggak semangat nulis, akhirnya merasa mereka nggak berbakat, dan nggak mau mencoba lagi... Kasian kan? 

Salah seorang penulis sangat berbakat yang baru-baru ini juga mengalami omongan nggak enak dari pembaca adalah Bunda Snow yang menulis "Bolehkah Aku Mencintaimu" dan "Ocean Marine". Kasihan lho, beliau pernah sampai nangis berjam-jam karena karyanya dibilang kayak telur busuk oleh satu orang pembaca yang nggak tahu diri, padahal tulisan beliau itu BAGUS.

Sekali lagi, menulis itu bukan hanya perlu waktu dan tenaga tapi juga pikiran dan suasana hati yang baik. Bantu penulis yang kita sukai dengan memberi dukungan dan dorongan ataupun kalau mau kasih kritik lakukanlah dengan bahasa yang tidak menyakiti. Aturan yang dari dulu saya pegang, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything."

Jadi di sini kita kerja sama yaaa... Penulis akan berusaha memberikan karya terbaiknya, pembaca menghargai dengan cara memberikan dukungan, masukan, komentar, dan kritik yang membangun. Ingat, menyenangkan hati penulis yang kita sukai lewat komentar yang baik tidak mengeluarkan biaya lho.. Malah dapat pahala kan? #kedipkedip

GAYA PENULIS vs GAYA PEMBACA:

Berikutnya adalah gaya menulis dan gaya membaca setiap orang itu berbeda-beda. Ada penulis yang senang menggunakan sudut pandang orang ketiga, ada yang kalo nulis alurnya dibuat cepat, ada yang lambat, dll. Gaya orang baca juga beda2, ada yang senang langsung tahu apakah ceritanya happy ending atau tidak, ada yang marah-marah kalau dikasi tahu spoilernya, dll.

Trus gimana dong kalau beda-beda gitu? Ya gampang, carilah buku atau novel yang gayanya sesuai dengan gaya membaca kita. Saya nggak senang dengan novel yang bertele-tele dan panjang, jadi saya akan menghindari novel semacam itu. Sederhana sekali. Hidup jangan dibikin susah.

Tapi kalo saya suka novelnya, tapi nggak suka gaya menulis authornya, gimana dong?

Ya mau gimana lagi? Berarti harus kompromi, kecuali kalau kita mau nulis novel sendiri. 

Nah, ngomongin soal gaya menulis, saya punya gaya menulis yang saya kembangkan lebih dari 25 tahun karena saya mulai menulis di umur 12. Dulu gaya nulis saya nggak begini. Bisa cek 2 novel lama saya di Webnovel "Glass Heart: Kojiro - Nana" dan "Katerina", ditulis tahun 1998 dan tahun 2004. Tulisan saya beda banget dengan novel "The Alchemists" ini. Gaya menulis saya terbentuk selama puluhan tahun dan udah susah kalau tiba-tiba mesti disuruh berubah mesti begini atau mesti begitu. 

Salah satu contohnya sekarang, saya tuh emang senang memberikan spoiler sedikit2 di dalam novel ini, kenapa? Karena di dalam ceritanya akan terjadi banyak peristiwa yang menurut saya asyik, tapi sayangnya perjalanan kita ke sana masih lama, sementara kemampuan saya mengetik tidak secepat kemampuan otak saya berpikir. Dan saya senang berbagi momen2 menarik yang akan terjadi dimasa depan, biar pembaca bisa sama-sama excited kayak saya.

Plus, dari beberapa spoiler yang saya bagikan, ada belasan alur yang masih saya sembunyikan, jadi sebenarnya tidak mengganggu kejutan-kejutan saat cerita mengalir nanti.

Naaahh... tapi tidak semua orang suka dikasi spoiler, tentu saja. Makanya saya selalu kasi judul di setiap bab spoiler dengan kata "TEASER", jadi untuk pembaca yang memang tidak suka spoiler bisa menghindari bab tersebut, dan nanti tinggal melanjutkan baca bab normal seperti biasa.

Mohon nanti pembaca yang tidak suka spoiler langsung HINDARI SAJA ya bab-bab ekstra dari saya yang saya kasih label "TEASER" biar bacanya nggak terganggu dan kita sama-sama enak. Saya bisa tetap dengan gaya menulis saya, Anda bisa tetap dengan gaya membaca Anda.

Kompromi itu perlu agar hidup menjadi lebih damai dan menyenangkan. Iya kan?

Oh ya... Kenapa saya bela2in nulis sepanjang ini untuk "curhat"? Karena saya ingin kita fair. Soalnya menulis itu perlu mood, dan saya tahu pembaca yang sudah setia mengikuti novel dan memberikan dukungan pasti sudah menunggu-nunggu update bab baru. Daripada kalian kebingungan kenapa saya belum update bab untuk hari Kamis, saya kasih tahu saja apa sebabnya. Soalnya klo nggak, tar saya dituduh janji palsu lagi nih...

Kok bisa nulis curhat panjang begini tapi nggak bisa nulis bab? Ya bisa dong, soalnya nulis curhat atau kritik atau komplen emang gampang. Yang nggak gampang itu ya nulis novel.

Untuk teman-teman pembaca yang sangat supportive selama ini, TERIMA KASIH banyak ya... Saya ntar sore atau malam coba lagi untuk nulis bab berikutnya, DEMI KALIAN. Kalau nggak mikirin kalian sih saya udah tutup di aplikasi ini, BERHENTI UPDATE SAMA SEKALI dan hibernasi sebulan di rumah untuk menamatkan "The Alchemists 2" dan jual buku cetaknya saja. 

Saat ini sudah ada 5700 pembaca, kalau 500 orang aja beli buku cetaknya saya udah dapat duit banyak. Tapi kan saya nggak lakukan.

Unfortunately in the other sources the novel jump from chapter 11 to 73, meaning there's no chapter 12 to 72.

But I find  in other sources it's have 1 to 60 chapters, but here in my update its only have 57 chapters cause some chapters are doubled. And I can't find the next chapter to 60 I don't know why it jump to 73 chapter.

La verdad he estado muy ocupado en este ultimo tiempo, ademas de que llegue a estar al día con los capítulos que he escrito.
