Life has become surreal for Valerie Hughes. After braving Hollywood for years, she finally gets her big break on America's favorite drama, Scent of Winter, starring the one and only Celeste Brentford, Valerie's celebrity crush since childhood. If Valerie wasn't too busy making a fool of herself, she'd actually try to shoot her shot with Celeste. One problem: Celeste is very straight, and in a very serious relationship with a soccer star. As the two get closer, Valerie discovers that her idol is more complex than she originally thought.

While Valerie tries to navigate her new life on set and acting alongside her new friend, Celeste goes on her own journey of self-acceptance.
