章 10: Bloodline Monster
A week has passed
In this one week Zed focus on his training and combat experience by fighting Wild Beast in his vicinity. Now his mastery had reach forty five percent reaching Adept mastery. Zed's plan is to stay here for a month then he will start to go deeper in Savanna Forest.
The outskirts of Savanna Forest span over fifty kilometers, Zed fights with all kind of beast and growing stronger steadily, Now he is a level 2 knight rank. Zed usually fight with his fist because he is not proficient in spear so his spear cannot hit fast enemy. Now he can use his body more efficiently and can channel more power, His grip can destroy a Hardened Stone which means his grip at least have seven hundred kilograms of force.
Zed's body now had many scars due to fighting with beast, his temperament is changing, Now he is more calm when facing trouble.
Zed now need to find a suitable target to try his Madman Rage Secret Skill on. Thinking about it, Zed decided to go deeper to find a peak Wild Beast. He run sneakily to find the target, avoiding unnecessary fight.
After twenty minutes of searching he found a lake and decided to rest there for a while and catch some fish to eat.
This lake is a border signing as the end of the Outskirts of Savanna Forest
Diving into the lake zed immediately catch a big fish to eat, when he tried to swim back up he suddenly feel something staring at him.
Turning to see his back he was shocked, there's a pair of yellow eyes looking at him from the bottom of the lake. It is a big snake like creature and have four fins along his body and two long fin beneathe its head, The creature is so big that Zed is not even one tenth of its body. It's aura is suffocating making Zed hard to move.
Trying his best to get to the surface, when suddenly his feet caught by the two long fin and dragged back down by the creature.
Zed struggle to break free from the two fins, but to no avail, He was dragged down by the creature. When he is face to face with the creature he was shocked, beside the creature's eye there's a blue trident mark, meaning that this creature have a percentage of Leviathan Bloodline!! The King of The Sea!!.
Zed screamed in his heart "What is this Monster doing in a lake?! isn't it supposed to be in the seas?"
Not wasting anymore time Zed strike first by punching the creature face. The creature didn't move and put on a mocking face, it thinks what can a puny fist do to its hulking body. When the fist make contact with it's face, the creature flung sideway almost letting go of Zed's feet. The creature is angry, it smash Zed's body to the lake floor.
The impact hurt so much that Zed cannot help but groan underwater, The air in his lung is forced out because of the impact. Cannot hold on anymore Zed desperately tried to swim back up, the monster didn't sit still and caught Zed again, preventing him from getting out of the water.
Having no other choice, Zed decided to use his Madman Rage Skill. His blood flow faster, his body buldge, all the veins in his body popped making Zed look scary. Feeling his body grow three times stronger he grab the creature fin, trying to ripped the fin off.
The creature screamed in pain due to it's fin ripped.
Zed didn't stop there, he threw another punch with all his might to the creatures head. The creature flung away smashing rocks on the way and finally hitting the lake floor. wasting no time Zed swim up to the surface.
On the surface, Zed take a deep breath and swim back in. His Madman Rage Skill is still active making him swim faster like a jet in water.
Arriving at the scene the monster still there standing it's ground, like it's guarding something. Curious of it Zed decided to get rid of this monster first.
The monster look at him menancingly with a determined look saying that it will fight Zed to the death.
The water is rumbling, the creature's eye turn blue then a ten trident made of water appear beside it, with a roar the trident flew fast to pierce Zed's body. Responding to the attack Zed's eyes turn blue too, He then defend himself by parrying the trident using his bare hands. Every time zed parry a trident, his organ shook because of the impact but Zed grit his teeth and held on.
For the last trident, Zed decided to grab it.
When Zed grab the trident, The Water frevor inside the trident slashed Zed's hand, but Zed endure it and throw it back to the creature.
The trident successfully pierced the creature's stomach, the creature let out a screeching scream. It is so loud that the water rumble. Using this chance, Zed swam back up to the surface to take his raging black and swam back down to finish the beast off
The beast is howling in agony, blue blood leaking out of his stomach where the trident still stabbing strong
Zed using his strength swam down to the lake floor
Zed look at the pitiful creature intending to finish it off, when suddenly the creature's body spewed spark of lightning around it.
it's aura turned fierce, it charge towards Zed and turning into a streak of lightning intending to crash it's body to Zed's.
Zed accept the creature's challenge by making his blood flow faster until it reaches it's peak, then he charge forward with his blue eyes. A sadistic smile appeared on Zed's face.
"BAAAAM" a huge loud sound echoed throughout the lake and propagate to the forest.
Zed's body flung back and crash to a rock throwing mouthful of blood while the creature's body flew straight out of the water and landed on the ground lifeless.

A group of five people is walking on the outskirts of Savanna Forest
"What should we hunt today?"
"Eadeer is on demand right now, we can get a fortune if we can kill one"
"That's impossible, Eadeer is to fast for us to kill"
"How about we kill Blue Skin Salamander, it's slow and not as threatening as Eadeer, because it specialize in it's defend and sturdiness"
"We'll do that let's find them, they live near a lake"
Just as they approach the lake, they suddenly heard a screeching sound that is so loud that they need to cover their ears up.
"What the hell is that?! it seems like the creature is fighting something"
"Judging from the aura it emitted, it is probably a peak Wild Beast Rank or Early Predatory Beast Rank"
Just as they discuss about the screech another loud sound was heard, "BAAAM", immediately after the sound a big shadow flew out of the lake and crash in front of them.
When they saw what crash in front of them they're scared and some peed themselves. The creature in front of them is so big and scary that not even one of them dared to move, fearing that the creature is still alive.
A man emerge from the lake, this man is bulky and scary with veins and scar all over his body with blue eyes, and a spear in his right hand. This man is obviously Zed.
When the group see Zed emerge they don't dare to move because Zed's aura is suffocating making them hard to breathe.
Zed's blue eyes landed on the group, He than said "Are you guys competing to get this beast corpse?" while folding his hand in front of him trying to be scary
"No, of course not big brother, we are just passing by if you want we will carry this beast corpse for you" said a guy with a big nose
"Wait there's five of us and him alone, he surely is exhausted after killing the beast, if we can take the beast corpse we will get a fortune" Said a girl with a sharp eyes that gives off a knightly look but still this girl can be considered good looking
Hearing what the girl says, the group gain their confidence back and draw out their weapons.
Looking at this scene, Zed is pissed because his scary look didn't work on a girl.
Zed move fast, before the group know it all the other four was hit on their stomach and sent crouching on the ground holding their stomach while vomiting blood.
Realizing what just happened, the girl shiver on her boots. She didn't expect that the guys in front of her to be so strong.
Zed's vanished from the spot and appear on the girl's back.
"Little girl, you still want to compete to take the beast corpse?" Zed said with a sadistic grin on his face. Hearing the voice from her back, the girl sweat.
Before she can even reply, Zed's grab her neck and lift her up from the ground. She struggle to get Zed's hand off of her.
"You should behave properly in front of something you didn't know, Little girl"
After saying that, Zed's blue eyes glow brighter, then he gripped his hand tighter and crushed the girl's neck
After killing the girl, Zed's blue eyes fade and he snapped back to reality.
