章 11: Power Up
Looking at the scene infront of him Zed is shocked.
When he decided to use his draugar bloodline, He suddenly feel dizzy and his mind is blank.
His memory is fuzzy, He remembered clashing head on with the creature and talking to this group of five, but after the dead girl spoke something he didn't remember anything afterwards.
Did i end up killing this girl?, Zed thought
Thinking that this is his first in killing a human being but he feels nothing, but still his body is shaky.
Looking at the four kneeling guys, Zed asked "Where is the nearest city beside Calesar city?"
Not intending to make Zed wait too long, fearing Zed will be angry again the big nosed guy answered, " It is one hundred kilometers west big brother, there's a city called Eplodon City, although it is not as big as Calesar but they have waterfall bath there as their main attraction and many beautiful girls" said the big nosed guy while choking on his own blood
He then continued, "Do you want us to take you there big brother?"
Thinking briefly zed answered, "No need, You can go now"
The group of four guys swiftly get their asses off from Zed's sight, and whispered to themselves
"Next time i don't want any hot blooded girl in our group, although she's beautiful i still treasure my life"
"Yeah, i agree"
After finishing his business with the group, Zed forgot to see the treasure guarded by the beast.
He then swam back down to the lake floor.
Arriving at the lake floor Zed cannot find anything, He swim in circle searching for the treasure.
When he gets to the corner of the lake, There are many thunder frevor around him.
Excited about the treasure he will got, hoping it is a spear with Thunder attribute.
But then, he was soon disappointed, the treasure is an orb like treasure with thunder attribute. The orb rest on the lake floor covered by a huge rock, and sand so it is covered up good.
Thunder is a sound that lightning makes, So basically Thunder Frevor will help the user burst of power to make a lightning sound with a little spark of lightning. Thunder Frevor is one of the rare elemental frevor, finding it inside a lake is so lucky that if one knows it they will vomit blood and consumed with envy.
Taking the orb from the lake floor, when suddenly a hologram appear.
"Elemental Orb Detected, Do you wish to absorb it?"
Before Zed accept, Zed swam back up to the surface, dragged the creatures body towards his shelter.
In Zed's shelter he then think accept to absorb the Thunder Orb
Immediately after thinking accept, the Thunder Frevor produced by the orb is sucked towards his body.
Thinking that it will hurt again just like the first time he got draugar bloodline, waiting for a minute nothing happened.
"Absorption completed, Comprehended Thunder Frevor"
"Thunder Frevor Mastery - 1%/100%(Vital Mastery)"
Feeling his new power, He decided to use Thunder Frevor and Channel it to his punch.
He was shocked!.
He is the only Warrior Class Fighter in the whole Advarus empire who can use Elemental Frevor!. In history nobody can absorb the Elemental Frevor to their body if they don't have Mage Essence. That's why Warrior can only Absorb Attribute Frevor through training while Mages Absorb Elemental Frevor through comprehending.
But Zed has successfully absorb thunder element through sorcery, in other words Zed is half Warrior half Mage, A Warrior Mage!!
Checking his mastery it has raised significantly
"Thunder Frevor Mastery - 10%/100%(Vital Mastery)"
Thinking that the sudden rise of mastery is due to channeling Thunder Frevor into his punch, He then decided to channel to all over his body to further increase his mastery and maybe he can make a new skill himself by killing beast that gets attracted to the Creature's corpse.

City Lord Of Calesar City Mansion
"It's been a week since Zed go through his journey" said a middle aged man while stroking his beard
A beautiful woman in his thirties responded, "Yes dear i am worried, i don't want our son to get into trouble" She said while having a troubled face
"We need to do this for his sake, a war is coming and i don't know if i can survive this" With a dejected look, he reach out his hand to stroke the woman's head
"Can we at least send someone to check on him, I just want to know, how is he handling his situation" said the woman with a pleading face
The middle aged man answered, "hmm, Fine" he then continued " Nightgrip!!"
A man wearing all black come out of nowhere appear, his face cannot be seen it's like there is some kind of barier, "You called my lord" he said with a monotone voice.
"Check on how's Zed's condition make sure you report it in detail" said the middle aged man
The man wearing all black answered "Yes my lord"

After hours of training Zed finally stop, He is exhausted due to his first time experimenting with elemental frevor
"Thunder Frevor Mastery - 30%/100%"
Now he can use Thunder frevor all over his body to boost his sudden burst of power, his kick and his punch can make a spider web like crack on a small hill expanding fifty meters in length, No Knight Class fighter can make that kind of strength even noble knight rank may not have that kind of strength.
Pleased with the result he then proceed to get a good night sleep not forgetting to hide the creatures body by burying it. Thinking tomorrow he will go to the Eplodon city to exchange this beast.
Before he can close his eye and have a peaceful dream he slapped himself hard on the forehead.
"How can i forgot that this beast certainly have a Beast Core" he scolded himself for forgetting something so important
Beast core can be used by warriors or mages to boost their rank, the higher the beast rank the better the boost is.
Descending from the tree he then re-dig the corpse while cursing to himself.
Zed struggle to take the corpse out because of the weight, he even use his madman rage skill to carry the corpse out. After struggling to take the corpse out due to the weight of the corpse he then take his raging black and slice through the creature's forehead.
Inside it there's a blue shiny core, Zed take it out and put it in his pocket. His pocket is made of beast skin that is strap onto his waist.
After taking the beast core he then bury the corpse back and climb up to his shelter.
Feeling tired for all his carrying and burying due to his clumsiness, he then fall into the dreamworld.
This night Zed had another weird dream.
He is in the middle of the sea, he is alone floating with nothing except seas as the eyes can see.
Rain pouring down on him with lightning came crashing down once in a while.
He looked around feeling scared, when suddenly the water around him turn darker.
He then look beneath the water, there is a shadow lurking down there. The shadow is so big that it is at least two hundred and fifty times bigger than Zed.
Panicking, Zed then swam away trying to get his distance from the shadow. This is the scariest moment Zed ever experienced in his life.
Just as he was swimming desperately, he was pulled down by something. When he sees what that shadow thing beneath him, He was so scared that he peed himself.
This creature is a Dragon like snake its, body is so big that his strength mean nothing infront of this thing. it's yellow eyes staring at him, it's teeth is razor sharp and ten times bigger and longer than zed. Then the creature have a scary smile on it's face.
Looking at the smiling creature, Zed lost his soul. The creature then open his gigantic mouth and swallowed zed whole.
Zed woke up screaming on top of his lungs. he was sweating all over his body and soon he finally relaxed a bit knowing that it was just a dream.
Waking early in the morning because of the dream, Zed decided to take this time to absorb the Beast Core. To absorb the beast core one only need to sit down, adjust their breathing, and put the beast core in their hand and start feeling the beast core frevor then absorb them.
Zed do just like that, after an hour of absorbing the beast core grew dimmer but still shiny meaning that it have more frevor in it. When an hour passed his back feels hot, the heat seems rising by the second until Zed cannot hold it anymore and screamed.
He throw away the beast core and start rolling on the ground.
After ten minutes or so, the heat finally subsided and Zed passed out due to intense pain.
Little did Zed knows that the tattoo on his back is changing.
