章 38: Chapter 37 more trouble

I didn't post the last to days because I was tired. Babysitting had made my life a living hell, I'm even thinking of never have kids. (I'm only 17, although I watch the baby with my mom. I do most of the work)

Looking up at the black clouds I opened my mouth having the core I made come out. I could tell that the heavenly eye recognized me, so it would go all out. me not using everything I have would be me asking for death. My core is different from others, as I'm a dragon my weapon is my core. As to what my core can do I will have to find out.

Looking at the core I looked back to the cloud. see as clouds were about to strike, with a roar I flapped my wing and me and the core few side my side heading towards the lightning that was falling.

As the core flew towards it an image of a dark red dragon formed around it. The image roared and everything seemed to stop. Even the heavenly eye, the lightning that was falling and The high gods that were watching froze.

With this the core and I eat the lightning at a crazy speed. To my shock the core devouring speed was more than twice the speed of mys. This lightning strike was around the same level as the last one to my surprise.

As I devoured the lightning In a few minutes I started bringing through. Sky realm level 4, sky realm level 5, sky realm level 6 all the way to saint realm level 2. My combat strength was equal to a high god level 1. My combat strength that once was able to skip 20 realms dropped to 19.

Although I wanted to continue the lightning seems to come out of that state in which it was in, and it hit me. I took the full hit of it and I was only left with some scratches. I devoured most of its energy, not to mention dragon scales and the core that didn't move.

The heavenly eye seeing this felt fear, 'this human I have to kill him, he very existence goes against the heavens. He must die.' It thought.

In side draken

The dragon was shocked when it saw the cores abilities, the fact that it was able to freeze peak level high gods, the heavenly eye, and the lightning was too shocking. Not to mention it devouring speed that was faster than Drakens.

"To think something like this exists, even in the origin realm something like this is impossible." Said the dragon with its eyes about to pop out.

In space

All of high god took much longer to come out of there frozen like state, the dragons that were watching too much longer than the other. There only around 40 high god

"someone… no something like this should not be allowed to stay alive any longer, it's very existence is a sin ." said medlevel high god, that had a holy air to him.

Everyone one here heard his words and they knew who this old man was. He was an elder of the holy church, it could be said to be the most powerful force in this realm. They even had some power in the divine realm, and when a focus like this announces for someone's death then that person only has death waiting for them.

When the grey dragon heard his words he hesitated, but in the end chose not to help the young dragon. Because of 3 reason.

1- If he were to he'll the young dragon without knowing this personality and he turns out to be some heartless being than what he would have done would truly be a sin.

2- the holy church is a force they could not face with their power at the moment and only death would be waiting for them.

3- the holy church is not going to be the only focus that's going to be after the young dragon. Some other greedy dragons would also be going after the young dragon for his bloodline. Also some other focuses would not just watch as a being this strong grow. So for their future they would stop at nothing to get their hands one this dragon.

The grey dragon knew they would not kill the dragon as they would be sucking his blood dry and with his recovery ability they would have enough blood for hundreds of eyes. Now all he could do is wait for a moment to strike and try to take all the benefits for himself. No dragon would let a moment for them to purify their bloodline pass.

With a smile on my face I looked up to the clouds. Was this not a good moment to just keep increasing my rank. If this goes then forget god realm I might not make it to high god in this little realm. As I waited for the cloud to gather light my smile disappeared.

Small black flames started appearing with in the cloud. "The hell why is there a heavenly god realm tribulation within the higher realm. This should be with the higher realm." I yelled as tears seemed to almost fall from my eyes.

The maximum level within the higher realm was high god. anything that went past that leave would face a peak heavenly god realm tribulation.

'But how did I pass the high god realm, it can't be my bloodline right, no that would have happened a long time ago. It must be my existence itself.' I thought as I looked up at the black flames. This planet is going to be destroyed soon and it will not last.

"It seems like this is as far as I got" I said. My scales were almost melting just from the heat alone and it didn't even finish gathering. 'Can't I just devour the heat, hopefully I could breakthrough to high god then maybe.' As soon as this thought appeared within my mind me and the core started devouring as my life depended on it.

Out of space

"It seems like I didn't even need to lift a finger" said the old man with a look of disappointment, as he got to a safe distance. He was around sweating just from the heat alone. He was a mage, not a swordsman who trained the body.

His goal was to get his hands on that dragon either tame it or still it's bloodline, and by saying stuff like this dragon existence was just a way to have everyone who had thought of their own to think again.

I was slowly breaking through. The heat alone had more energy than the lightning by several times. I broke through all the way to the saint realm level 10 until the flames were getting ready to fall. Seeing that I didn't devour enough energy I got ready to have an all out battle.

But something weird happened, the heavenly eye and the tribulation seemed to tremble before they quickly ran off. Looking at the fleeing tribulation although I was confused, I was more happy that I survived that. After a few minutes I was getting to but something else happened in front of me. A man with a holy, and kind smile appeared.

Why can't I get a break.
