Chapter 32: Fè Atansyon

Hushy's P.O.V
So, one thing is stuck on my mind.
And it's you! Ani ng utak ko sabay-dinuro.
Napatingin naman si Alpha sa akin.
"What? Why are you pointing your fingers at me?" Tanong niya sabay bigay ng matamang tingin sa akin.
"We're lost. Because of you!" Ani ko. Wait, teka nga lang. Bakit siya ang pinagbibinatangan ko?
Bigla namang kumunot ang noo ni Alpha nang narinig niya ang sinabi ko.
"What do you mean?" He asked confused. Aba't ako rin naguguluhan.
"Wala." Sabi ko tapos napa-iwas tingin sa kanya.
Why did I say that again? Self, Remind me.
I just heaved a sigh. I am sure that we aren't going anywhere this time. But if ever meron man kaming ma-achieve dito then good.
We just walked in silence. The mere existence of Arcane tailing us is making me uncomfortable. It's not that I don't like him. It's just that, he is clearly not a peculiar.
The prints we left behind is also making a sound, as we cross to a muddy river. I can listen to the sound forever when suddenly I heard a growl of a creature.
What the frick was that?
I turned to see that everyone was looking at Arcane.
"Uh, Do you have any food that I can consume?" He asked tilting his head sidewards, covering the embarrassment in his face.
"Meron—" Before Chummy can say anything, I cut her off.
"Wala. But since we're in the wild we can hunt for worms."
"Worms? Seriously Hushy? You are going to feed Arcane some worms?" Chloe muttured.
"We don't have any food left."
"What do you mean? We do? Let's not just waste each others time and start traveling when needed." Alpha said.
"Okay guys! I'm not hungry! Turns out I just have a bad diarrhea." Arcane ripped off your conversation.
"Oh, that's nasty." Phoebe said as she began covering her nose.
"Let's just walk and set camp here, don't you think?" Hakun suggested.
"Yeah, nice idea." Emerald agreed as he began to set up the tents. And Alpha helped him as well.
"We are staying here for the night. Is that fine?" Chloe asked and Arcane just gave her a small nod.
The sun was setting and we all knew that this night, we must devise a plan. A real one, a plan that could save us all.
My feet was placed on a leafy surface as I was facing the campfire. Chummy and Alpha brought potatoes so it's okay if we don't hunt for food.
I turned to look at everybody, they seem Nice and calm.
But, I don't really know why but. I wanted to know if Sky's alright, or where she is or is
she eating fine?
I would kill just to know what's going on.
I was so wrapped in my devoid thoughts when Leo sat beside me and smiled.
"I know what you're thinking. Don't worry, we will find them. Make sure that they are safe." He looked down and played with the cuffs of his coat.
"I hope so." My face frowned upon hearing that, cause what if they're not okay? But somehow there's this little warmth that Leo gave that I clearly wanted to feel more.
"Hey, Tell me Leo." I looked at him straight in the eyes.
"Yeah?"
"Do you like, Sky?" I asked while I started shivering. This can't be it.
At first, he looked shocked but then he laughed.
"You got your Sky. But I like, Meadow." He softly whispered as he rested his chin on his knees.
I was speechless, unable to say anything. But, thinking about it made me lighter. We all have love interests, I see.
"An I hope to save her soon." He murmured.
I giggled because, I like the way he was being positive in times like this.
"Luto na ang mga patatas!" Chummy informed.
We both got up and started to got one from the heated pot.
I took a small bite and, the flavors bursted in my mouth. This is probably the first time today that I ate a proper meal.
"Good right?" I asked and turned to Leo who was munching down the potato in his hand.
"Slow down, Buddy. You'll choke." I informed but then he made an angry gesture.
"I'm older that you, you little Dimwit." He then continued munching in his potato.
Then Arcane came. He then got his food and he sat beside me.
"Ugh! Peasants food is really gross!" He said while covering his nose with his hands while taking a bite.
Duh, so dramatic.
I did question why he munched so fast by the second bite.

As we finished our meals, I headed inside the tent and so did Leo.
Me, Arcane and Leo shared the same tent.
Chummy, Chloe and Phoebe shared theirs.
Sergio, Chippy in theirs.
Alpha and Emerald.
And Bluve and Hakun was in theirs.
"Have A nice sleep, Hushy. You're gonna need it." Leo said. I gave him a quick nod. And lay down and started to drift to sleep.

Chloe's P.O.V
My eyes bolted up tiredly. Alam kong sobrang aga pa magising. I looked at my watch and saw that It was still 2:16 am. Yeah, talk about early.
Pinilit ko ang sarili ko na matulog pero wala paring nangyayari kaya lumabas nalang ako. Ayoko kayang gumawa ng eksena.
But upon, leaving the tent. May nakita akong lalake na nasa labas. Tumitingin sa mga bituin.
I walked to him then there I realized who it was.
"Bluve." I said as he looked at me.
"Hey, Chloe." He greeted as he began patting the space next to him.
I quickly sat down and accepted his offer and then turned to him.
"Why are you here?" I asked him.
"Look up, it's a beauty being here." He replied.
I didn't look at the stars cause I was fixing my gaze for him and only him.
"When I was young, my mom used to take me out in our backyard. We would usually place a mat and lie down. And look at the sky."
"My mom used to say that The stars are the most beautiful. Beautiful like the person you will kiss in the end, like the person is the only one that matters in the whole universe." I told him, pero he didn't even bother giving me a quick glance.
"Do you know, Chloe. A kiss is just a kiss until you find the one you love.
A hug is just a hug until you find the one you are always thinking of.
A dream is just a dream until it comes true.
Love is just a word until I met you."
Tinignan ko siya ng maigi.
"Wait, you mean—?"
"Just look at the stars, they'll explain everything."
I did just what he told me. And never have I ever saw the stars so beautiful as this moment.
