Sky's P.O.V
I woke up in the room that I was sleeping in with only the broken lamp providing lights. I looked around and realized that he wasn't here. I finally let out a small sigh. I stood up only realizing I was chained. My injuries are still in a throbbing mess. I just closed my eyes and took a deep breath and began destroying the chain in whatever way I can. Whether it was throwing it on the ground or just simply kicking on it.
Anything is better than to stay in this place. I remember my scarred face as I flinched is I felt the sore feeling. This is stupid, bakit pa ba ako? This is so freaking stupid! Wala talagang mangyayari na ganito kung hindi lang kami naging ang napili bilang tagapagtanggol sa mundong ito!
It's all because of the greedy mastermind who stole our ability to wander and roam freely like little naive kids in this world, although I knew from the start that eversince we were little kids, our mind have been activated to see the world in different perspective. Making us believe that we are not little children anymore and we have a responsibility to fulfill. A responsibility to save Emperia from danger.
It's like were born to be trapped in a cage of battlefields and we would just be baits to the creatures unknown to us, and we would eventually throw ourselves to them. Because if not, It's like questioning destiny if we were totally imperfect. And it is made for us play to our hearts content but there will only be two endings.
The one that will keep us alive, or the one that will keep the innocent Animalias alive.
A game made by greed, and a game only us children will be able to win. And to win is to die.
I Don't want to admit it but it's better if only we lived like normal kids, normal teenagers. But since this is our fate, I can't do anything about it. We just can't.
I still keep on thinking, what if we weren't in this situation and the things that keep on happening ceased to exist. Will I be home and be playing with my brother? Will I attend a normal school? Will I be living my dream? Will I have sincere smiles from now on? Will I not be unhappy? Will I be satisfied? And... Will I ever meet the friends I made now?
I smiled bitterly. Yes, I am acting selfish right now. And so I thought even if turn back time, only they would understand me.
I sat down as bottles of sweat ran in my neck as I struggle to set myself free even though it's impossible. But it didn't hurt to try.
My wrists was numbing and I could feel my arms would latch at any second but I'd rather die in being shot by staying here and die a slow but painful one.
Trust me, torture is painful.
I look around the room and scanned my surroundings and nothing seems out of the ordinary.
I then heard a rustling and the door opened, at doon ko nakita si Meadow. Wearing a thin white night gown, she was breathing heavily and I couldn't help but stare at the girl who was running up to me with diffrent keys in her hands.
"Sky, okay ka lang ba? Nothing hurts right?" Sheasked worriedly while starting to test the keys she held.
I couldn't help but deny the pain that was aching my whole body.
"I'm fine, Meads."
She then inspected my face and like I guessed, the cut on my cheek didn't pass her vision and she looked at me with pure concern while her hands still testing the keys.
I gave her a look indicating I was alright and this is nothing she should worry about so she focused on what she was doing.
"Anyways, Meads. How did you escape? How bout him--"
"Wala siya, I did make noises but he didn't rush to see me. Umalis siya, Sky. Who knows if pumunta na siya kanila Chloe." She breathlessly muttered under her breath.
I looked at her with pure worry, Yes. She might be right. I didn't want to ask but what was his motive? Is he actually bad? Does he know something about the Dark Cloaked Wizards?
"Can we still trust him?" I blurted out.
Meadow looked like she was hesitating to answer but she expectedly did.
"Sky, do you dare to trust somebody who kidnapped you? And after what he did to you?"
I looked down and shook my head. That's right. Even though it's only for a short time, what he did was sketchy enough to make us believe that he wasn't good.
Then Finally, Meadow unlocked my the chain and my hands were finally free to move around.
As I can feel immense pain around my wrists, I massaged it very carefully to ease the feeling.
Meadow then gave me a bottle of water which I accepted and chugged down. When I was finished in drinking the water we both stood up and headed to the door and what we saw was a long endless hallway and the only thing came to my mind.
Where the hell are we going?
I was stood frozen to where I was standing while still clutching Meadow's arms.
"Sky, Ikaw muna mauna maglakad." Meadow whispered.
Okay, hell no. Malay niyo ba may white lady na lalabas any second, this place looked like some sort of place that literally came out from a horror movie.
And when I think of a horror movie, I know na ang unang maglalakad ay ang unang mamatay and In conclusion, I want to be the survivor in some sort of horror movie. Like hello? Doesn't anyone want to survive?
"I'd rather not."
She just rolled her eyes and quickly pulled me while taking the lead while walking. I'm pretty sure na hindi niya alam kung saan siya papunta but she just kept walking.
As expected, ang lakas ng loob niya. I just inspect around us to search kung meron mang ibang Animalia dito at baka habulin pa kami.
The hallway was long and it felt like walking in an endless void. It was time consuming--well not that I actually know the exact time we used up. But I know that it's pretty long.

Bluve's P.O.V
Stupid. That's the only thing I could describe this situation right now. Nothing but stupidity and damn ignorance. Ridiculous. Annoying. And entirely Pathetic.
I might as well say that we can be dead by the time that we save Sky and Meadow. Beacuse of this damn slug that is slowing us down.
"Arghhh! I can't take this anymore! This disgusting mud things is ruining the quality of my Gucci shoes!"
"Can't you guys just give me a John Walker & Sons Master Blenders Collection First Edition Alexander Walkee Blended Scotch Whisky? It's very essential for my everyday diet! Just so ya'll know, Potatoes aren't even enough!"
"Can't we just take a break?! I know you all are very exhausted as I am!"
"Do you have a nearby Diner in this forest? I am totally craving for Korean bbq."
"Do we really not need to take a shower? I don't want anybody seeing me wear the same clothes twice!"
"Guys! We need to stop walking! I am missing one of my airpods!"
"Do you guys have hand sanitizers? No? Ugh--you guys! Can't you just be a little more hygenic? Hand sanitizers is really a must this days."
"Do you guys know that I can use chopsticks? Want me to teach ya'll?"
"OMG! It has literally been 16 hours since we started travelling and there is no single sign of signal in this forest and I am dying to keep my followers updated! What if they call the cops and report that I'm missing!"
"--and she was like looking at me disgustingly but her face was more disgusting with her perked up eyebrows and her signature duck lips accusing me for sleeping with her boyfriend! And I just can't believe it! If I might as well sleep with someone, I'd pick somebody good looking! And I was like 'Bitch, Honey I ain't a bottom--"
"Arcane! Please shut up!" Chummy then burted. Every inch of patience is no longer evident in her tiny frail looking body.
Arcane closed his mouth, whilst scanning the petite figure as his eyes repeatedly go up and down multiple times.
As I thought he was finally going to stay quiet. Boy, I was wrong.
"Honey, not hating or anything alright? But I think your old H&M dress doesn't actually match your aesthetic, it's probably beyond the style of 80's when you look at it. Can you give me a nice turn so I can actually study your physique and I might as well let you borrow some of my precious YSL Saint Laurent Latex jean--"
Before he could literally finish his sentence, he was grabbed by the collar by Alpha as he Arcane was literally surprised.
It looks like he was about to say something the next minute but turns out, he looks like he wasn't going to talk from now on in his entire life.
"Arcane, what are we supposed to do wandering in this forest? What is our exact goal? Can you tell me?" With a husky voice, Alpha asked him.
We stopped in our tracks as we begin to listen to what he was about to say.
"The end of this forest, lies the pathway shortcut in Pynka. Light Kingdom, and in light kingdom we could actually visit Detective Corrine who could help us with the case of both the Whatever enemy you're facing and as well as the disappearance of the Panda and Fox. See? Killing two birds in one stone." He simply explained.
So we are meeting up with a detective? It sounds pretty dumb but I think that'll work.
Alpha then let Arcane go as Arcane tried to breathe back as we try to walk and make our way in wherever our path lead us.
It was a long journey and I pretty much think that as a rich man's son, I am pretty much used to in here hiking for a complete 17 hours than handling the company that I didn't know How much it works.
I looked around and saw the exhausted faces of the guys around me, but they still kept going.
Chummy was holding Alpha's hand. I didn't quite like the view and I don't think I could get used to them. It wasn't at all surprising if I saw them dating since the first time they met was kinda much like a love at first sight encounter.
Sergio was keeping up his pace with Hushy, who was also in pace with Emerald and Leo who was busy jamming and singing a song even though someone in their group was singing wrong lyrics in the wrong key and let's just say his voice doesn't actually suit the song.
Arcane, Hakun and Phoebe was chit chatting with almost everything. It turns out they are partly the perfect social class trio in the first place. Arcane was busy rummaging in his bag to only show the two some branded luxury goods and giving them products good for facial and stuff.
My eyes then landed on Chloe walking with Chippy right in front of me, they are just talking and sometimes not saying anything.
I then remembered the scene 3 weeks ago, where I confessed my feelings to Chloe. I suppose I'm not a very romantic person and I'm also not the type of person who's be showy of their emotions but finally, I was able to feel something romantically towards a person I am really comfortable to talk with. And Chloe--she have this strong sense of character that makes me drawn into her.
I'm usually the type of guy that would actually be impressed to someome quiet, proper, and someone you can control. Men tends to be more dominant and they usually have a great desire to control their partners.
But It turns out that feeling is just a standard and It actually doesn't apply to every men's dream standard. When I met Chloe I feel like I am able to express myself even in limited words.
I admit I'm not a wordy person and I might not actually be the best in dating but, when Chloe showed up she made importance out of everything I say. Well not just anything I say bit also everyone's. And I also like how strong willed she is and I also like how she express her emotions in the right time. I love how she runs away from negativities when she literally know that in the end she's going to risk her life.
I am not saying these things because I like her. I am saying this things because she is amazing and she is really are those things.
Last 3 weeks, as I was cooling of my head while looking in the night sky she came and I confessed.
I asked her out after that, I knew she like me but she didn't tell me an instant answer. Insead she answered me with an 'I'll think about it.'
And that made me like her even more. She wasn't an easy one and she takes time in making every decision she made. She made me surprised in every aspect she could.
I was lost in my thoughts as I kept on walking, not bothering to grant my demand in consuming water even though my throat is dry. I might as well save the water up for later.
The path was a rocky one as we might as well be in shape after all this walking.
I let myself lost in my thoughts as I know that it would have been a long way to go and we aren't even halfway to our destination.
