章 56: My Daughter

Tyler's POV

I was staring at the result of the paternity test in my hands. Even if I had already accepted the possibility that Anika could be my daughter, as I stared and reread the result, I still couldn't believe I was a father of a four-year-old girl. I suddenly felt guilty that I wasn't there for my daughter growing up, and I promised to do everything I could to make it up to her.

And I could feel the piercing in my heart as I remembered Arabella's lovely face, and I realized I was going to hurt her; and I didn't know how am I going to tell her about Anika, but I could feel it deep in my heart that Ara will still accept me.

I knew nothing about Anika until Joshua came to my office, and they kept it a secret from me for four fucking years. I know my priorities will change now that I have a daughter, and I need to speak with Emily before I confess everything to Arabella.
