章 21: The End is Near
General POV
The last days were really hard for Ender, so for once he stayed away from the Seven Deadly Sind and made time for himself. He knew from his memories around this time the Sins should meet the doll, Gowther.
Meliodas remained silent about Ender's decision to leave while Diana complained of coming to love the demon as a friend.
Both Kind and Ban also kept silent.
One reason Ender stayed away was because of his alternative personality, as he called it, or Demon Ender. Original name I know. How it happened Ender didn't know, but with the appearance of the other guy, Ender remembered what happened on that day. The day goddess blood rained down the sky.
Flashback 3000 years ago
"Stop this instance! Let her go!" screamed Ender, slamming his fist against the holy formation forming around Melascula.
He never expected the sealing formation to be designed by the Supreme Deity, so not even his commandment could break through it.
"You are too late, Ender the Coward. Nothing can stop the process of being sealed away. Not even your commandment can stop it. Accept your faith and be sealed like everyone else," spoke a person with white wings. He was Armael, a captain of the seal corps.
"Ender, please save me!" Melascula cried out as the coffin of eternal darkness absorbed her body.
Ender fell on his knees and blankly stared at the place where he last saw his future wife. He tried everything he knew, but nothing worked. At that moment Ender felt something break inside his soul and something accepted Melascula's fate. He would direct all his sadness and his accumulated rage at the person who did this to her, Armael.
"He, hehe, hahahahah! Now you've done it. I will kill you all!" Ender screamed as he turned towards his enemies.
A shiver ran down the spine of everyone who saw the demon laugh. Everyone had heard of the coward and his antics, but they've never seen him laugh like that.
Suddenly, a massive amount of darkness erupted from Ender as he stood up. The left side of Ender turned into a humanoid form while the right side stayed normal.
"Use the holy light to repel the demon spawn," shouted Armael, who saw the danger he and everyone else were in.
"Yes, come to me, you bastards. I will make sure you all suffer from the same fate they will inside this thing," said Ender as countless Vanishing Pearls flew out of Ender's body.
The demon took one and threw it with incredible speed at the head of one angel. The moment it hit its destination, the head vanished, leaving only the body behind while blood was spraying out like a fountain before the body fell to the ground.
"Attack him! His commandment isn't working anymore. We can kill him now!" screamed Armael in confidence, but hid behind his minions like a coward.
The people gained confidence and all of them attacked Ender, but they could not even reach him as every pearl around him flew to each one of them, teleporting their body parts away, leaving only a stump behind.
"Come at me, little birdies. I will pluck your feathers out one by one," laughed Ender as he heard the screams of his enemies.
Ender teleported to one angel trying to fly away, grabbed his head, and slammed with it into the ground.
"Let me go, you filthy thing! How dare you touch me!" the angel shouted before screaming in pain as a foot pressed against his head.
Ender grinned as he looked at the screaming angel before sifting his view to his wings.
"So... you consider yourself holy because you have such beautiful white wings?" asked Ender with a smile on his face that would make villains like the Joker proud. The Enderman slowly but gently grabbed one wing and stroke it.
"What a beautiful wing," said Ender before a smirk appeared on his face.
Grabbing the wing, Ender pulled it out from under the angel's body. The angel screamed in pain as he felt a burning sensation on his back. Blood and bones come out of the angles back.
"What will you do now? Your body is not pretty anymore. Still, this is not enough for what you have done."
The other angel's eyes were bloody red, seeing their comrade in such a pitiful state.
"Kill him!" they screamed as they charged at him with their weapons.
Ender leaned forward, exposing his back to his enemy.
"Ender Hailstorm"
"Let's see how you will deal with this."
The angels had no way to dodge the massive amount of pears that emerged from Ender's back and headed towards them. More screams filled the area.
"Yes, scream, little angels. It is like music to my ears," laughed Ender as he danced around the bodies of his enemies.
One angel dodged Ender's pears and charged at the demon with his sword, ready to pierce his enemy's heart.
"Die, you abomination! I will avenge my fallen comrades!"
He shoved his sword right through Ender and the demon stopped in his tracks.
"Finally he is…"
He couldn't speak due to his shock, seeing Ender looking him straight into his eyes with an enormous grin.
"Dead?"
The angels saw that although his sword pierced Ender's body, no blood came out. It was as if he hit the air. The one-second stun was all Ender needed as he thrust his hand through the angel's body, grabbing the angel's heart. Ender stopped for a moment, feeling the beating heart before ripping it out of his body.
"Come, little angels. I want your blood!"
The battle between Ender and the angels lasted 3 hours. The pearls caught those who tried to flee, and those who fought Ender could not hit him despite his commandment not working. Ender laughed and thanked Chandler for being his teacher.
Despite killing so many angels, Ender never found Armael, who, like a female cat, left his squad.
After the 3 hours of constant fighting, Ender's energy resources were depleted, and he fell to the ground next to all those he killed. The shock Ender received after he regained his consciousness back was immense.
His mind could not comprehend the massive amount of killing, so he did the best thing possible. He sealed those memories away. With that, he also forgot about the demon personality he had inside.
Flashback end.
Ender walked through a forest while debating about the recent things that happened and what he should do.
Normally, Ender would erase his memory of that event and just forget it and live as if nothing happened. It should be done, but something prevented him.
"I can't forget it. I have to continue living with it. I can't run away anymore."
Ender POV
I felt happy walking through the forest as I encountered a green-haired boy and a giant armor walking together.
The boy looked at me, and I looked back. I knew who it was, and he knew who I was.
'I don't want him next to me right now.'
I nodded to him, and he had a slight smile on his face.
"Hello, Ender. It is good to see you again."
I nodded my head in a greeting and walked away, not turning around but not before saying.
"Long time no see, Gowther."
General POV
Time passed and Ender found his way back to the bar on the pig. Ender sat on Hawk Mom as he listened to Meliodas talk about the Coffin of Eternal Darkness.
"Meliodas, do you have any idea why the holy knights want this coffin?" asked Elizabeth.
'This should be the right moment to appear,' thought Ender as he teleported in front of everyone.
"A simple answer to such a simple question, Elizabeth."
All turned around to see Ender.
"First, where the hell were you, and what do you mean, Ender?" asked Ban.
"The coffin is a seal for the demon clan, my race. The sacrifice of the Goddess Clan sealed the demon clan and the holy knights believe that freeing the demon will allow them to conquer Britania. A foolish idea, if I say so. Now that Hendrickson has the blade, he can use it and open the seal."
Everyone gasped as they heard the terrible news.
"But when they open the seal, they won't find an army who will help them conquer everything. The demons were trapped for 3000 years and when they are free, do you think they will join the humans who were one of the races who sealed them along with the giants and fairies? No, when they came out, they will do what they want, and that is to enslave the rest of the world. That is what your captain wanted to prevent."
"So as a demon you are also on the side of the demon clan?" asked King as he readied his weapon at Ender, who just waved it off.
"I would lie if I said I didn't want them back because my love is one of those that had been sealed, but I swear I won't fight you."
'The holy knights will do the job for me. And if they fail, I will do it myself,' added Ender in his mind.
"Then I hope you will watch us win because this won't be the time for the demons to come out," laughed Ban and everyone relaxed.
At night, Ender was sitting on top of Hawk's Mom when he felt a presence to his left. It was Meliodas who sat beside his best friend.
"I knew you would come," said Ender as he glanced at the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins.
"Elizabeth explained to me what happened to you after I was sucked into the Amber. You changed. You turned into the very same thing you hated. Don't think I couldn't hear the lie you told them? Do you really want a new Holy War to happen?" asked Meliodas.
Ender stood up and glared at Meliodas. His body loomed over the minor demon.
"And do you? Don't be a hypocrite, Meliodas. I know you want the same thing as I. You want them out. I know the reason why you made the Seven Deadly Sins. Every race is presented in your little groups. You prepared them well, but do you think they are enough to fight the other commandments? Your goal is connected with mine. You want to break the curse that was placed on you and Elizabeth and I want to be reunited with Melascula."
Ender took a few steps away when Meliodas himself stood up and looked into Ender's eyes.
"Then tell me, why are you gracing us with your presence and not with the holy knights? What hinders you from opening the seal by yourself?" asked Meliodas and Ender knew what he was looking for.
"I was there at Danafor when Liz died and I saw a demon having the key. He tried to open it by himself, but he failed. Even with all the sacrifices, he forgot the last ingredient. I swore to never harm Elizabeth. This and only this is the reason why I haven't already opened the gates myself. It is your decision to believe me or not."
Meliodas shrugged before turning around.
"Can't win this argument. I'll believe you."
"Meliodas. If it truly happens. If the demons come out, I want you to be prepared," said Ender and Meliodas stopped for a second before giving Ender a thumbs up.
"That is why we are the Seven Deadly Sin. We will defeat them."
Both demons headed inside.
Time skip
All the Sins talked happily as a mage teleported inside, grabbed Elizabeth, and disappeared.
"Ender, is this your doing?" Diana demanded to know.
'So it started?' thought Meliodas, not expecting it to be so soon.
"Those were the holy knights. We have to move," said Meliodas.
"What about Ender?" asked Hawk.
"He is unable to do it by himself since his ability isn't used for combat. His goal is to reunite with his clan and bring destruction to Britania, but he has to hope the holy knights do it for him. So he is useless in resurrecting his clan and bringing destruction to the world," analyzed Gowther.
"Hey, **** you, Gowther. That is not true. I have no reason to bring destruction to Britannia. I want to reunite with my lover... who is part of the demon clan... that want to bring destruction… yeah that is not good for you."
The Sins flew towards Liones while Ender felt the massive magic power coming from the kingdom, so he teleported there. Over the clouds, Ender felt the infinite magic coming closer.
"Ah, so this is where you are, little girl. I wondered when you will show yourself."
King Arthur stopped advancing when he saw a large black figure appearing above him. The creature wore a black cloak that didn't let any light inside to see who it was.
Truly, Ender loved this cloak. It looked so badass.
"Who are you?" asked Arthur.
Ender laughed as he posed in front of Arthur.
"I, am the true king of Camelot! I demand a battle against you so I can reclaim my rightful throne," shouted the Enderman.
The Camelot knights, which were illusions, plus Arthur looked at the crazy figure before the king turned to his mage.
"Can you dispose of him?"
She shook her head.
"We know each other very well. The best way to handle him is to ignore him."
Ender stomped towards her before coming face to face with the hooded figure.
"How dare you tell him my weakness, Merlin? By the way, nice hoody. Still, mine is better. Just feel its texture."
Then, all of a sudden, he hugged her.
"I missed you so much."
Tears wear falling down Ender's eyes and drench her coat.
Merlin tried to shake Ender off her, but the demon clung to her desperately.
"Get off me! You are delaying things. Wait a second you, you want the ritual to happen, don't you? Damm you, Ender."
Ender smiled as they saw his plan through before pushing her away from him.
"See ya, Merlin."
Ender teleported into the air to have an excellent view of the fight that was to come.
The fight didn't really matter to Ender because he knew what would happen. He had the key, but his promise to never harm Elizabeth prevented him from doing anything by himself.
So Ender used the time he had free to just enjoy himself. He shuddered, knowing that as soon as the others were out he would be their errand boy, but another part of Ender was happy. Sure, working sucks, but sometimes it clears your head, making you forget about the problems of the world, and it can be fun too. Also, he would be reunited with Melascula. So it was worth it.
"I hope you are ready, everyone, because the demons are coming to town."

Broxhitman1998 I doubt I will ever finish this fanfiction but I still have like 10 chapters lying around in the dust and so I was like: Why not release them and those that enjoyed it can have some more chapters?
