章 1: Beginning After End

Steve's alarm clock rings at 6:00 am, as it does every day. He groggily reaches over to turn it off, then sits up in bed and rubs his eyes. Despite the early hour, he feels restless and unable to go back to sleep.

Steve: (to himself) Another day, another dollar.

He goes through his morning routine with precision, showering, shaving, and getting dressed in his usual business attire. He checks his phone for any urgent emails, then heads out the door to start his day.

As he walks to his car, he notices the sunrise painting the sky in shades of pink and orange. He pauses for a moment to take it in, but the beauty of the scene fails to lift his spirits.

Steve: (to himself) What's the point of it all?

Steve is a 32-year-old man who has achieved great success in his career, he works in a reputed MNC named "Noogle" and earns more than $250,000 annually.

He is an ordinary person, nothing too special. He was born with an IQ of 110, which wasn't particularly high. Despite his best efforts, Steve failed to get into a super prestigious college, but he eventually graduated from a decent one. In order to pursue his dreams, Steve had to work very hard. He often felt like he was working against the odds, and he grew distant from his parents and friends as a result. By this point in his life, Steve had lost touch with many of the people he once cared about, and he felt very alone. The only people he had in his life were his colleagues in the office, who he saw every day but didn't feel particularly close to.

He drives to work, navigating through the city streets with ease. He arrives at his office building and takes the elevator up to his floor. As he settles into his desk, he notices the other employees around him, busy with their work.

Steve: (to his colleague) Hey, Jim. How's it going?

Jim: (smiling) It's going well, thanks for asking. How about you?

Steve: (shrugs) Same old, same old. Just another day in the grind.

Jim: (nodding sympathetically) I know what you mean. It can be tough sometimes.

Steve: (sighs) Yeah. I just feel like there's got to be more to life than this.

Jim: (encouragingly) Maybe there is. You never know what opportunities might come your way.

Steve nods, but he's not convinced. He spends the rest of the day going through the motions, completing tasks and attending meetings, but feeling a growing sense of emptiness inside.

As he drives home at the end of the day, he realizes that he's been living on autopilot for too long. He's ready for a change, but he's not sure what that change should be.

Steve: (to himself) It's time to start figuring things out. It's time to start living my life, not just going through the motions.

Steve reminisced about his parents' phone call from last month, where they attempted to persuade him to get married. "Steve, son, you're not getting any younger. It's time to settle down and start a family," his mother had said. "We can even arrange some blind dates for you, if you'd like." But he rejected their proposal that time.

Steve had been single his whole life and had never had any luck with women. He recalled his feeble attempts at flirting with a few girls during his college days, but they had all ended in failure. As he contemplated his parents' words, Steve began to wonder if perhaps they were right. Maybe it was time for him to get married and find new goals in life.

As Steve was lost in his thoughts, he suddenly heard a loud screeching noise. Before he could react, a speeding truck crashed into his car, sending it tumbling and cartwheeling out of control. The last thing Steve saw was the sleeping driver of the truck, oblivious to the chaos he had caused.

The truck sustained only minor damage, but Steve's car was totaled, its twisted metal frame smashed into a nearby wall. As the world around him faded to black, Steve's final thoughts turned to his own mortality.

"I can't believe this is happening," he muttered to himself. "How many people will come to my funeral besides my parents? Maybe I should have lived my life differently. And also I hope that someone erases the hard disk of my laptop." Steve's consciousness gradually faded into darkness.

In the darkness, Steve reflected on his choices and the missed opportunities that had led him to this moment. He wished he had done more, seen more, and lived more fully. But now, as his life slipped away, he realized that he could never make up for the lost time.

A few minutes have passed,

Steve slowly opened his eyes and found himself floating in a vast, empty white space. As he took in his surroundings, he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"Afterlife actually exists !!!" Steve exclaimed in disbelief.

He looked around, and the space he was in resembled the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from Dragon Ball Z. Steve couldn't believe that an anime could portray the afterlife world so accurately.

The size of the space was hard to determine, as all Steve could see was white space. So, he tried to move as far as possible. After what felt like an eternity, he arrived at a wall and touched it.

Suddenly, a massive eye opened from the wall!!!

"Ahhh", causing Steve to shriek in terror.

As he turned around, he was met with the sight of a colossal titan staring down at him.

"What the hell?!" Steve exclaimed, his heart racing. "Am I in some kind of anime world?"

The titan didn't respond, instead looming over Steve like an insurmountable obstacle.
