章 11: How fuc*ing rich are you?

After that day passed me and Haley were officially a couple.

Most people knew that as me and Haley were popular in school.

Today marks our first week together.

I decided to show her my house today. I never showed it to anyone. She was the first.

"So what surprise are you going to show me?", Haley asked with a smile while kissing me.

"I am going to show you my house", I said while starting the Nissan Skyline I drove to school. Haley didn't care that I had no driver's license. She knew that I drove without one.

"Really? The mysterious Ethan will show me his house? What's next. A meteorite is coming to the earth to destroy us.", she said while laughing.

The mysterious Ethan was a way my friends made fun of me due to never showing my house to them.

"No I will really show it to you", I said while driving towards the Highway.

"Well. Now I am curious", she replied.

~a few minutes later~

"The way we drive to your house is similar to the way I drive to my grandpa", Haley replied.

"Really? Maybe your grandpa is my neighbor", I said with a smile knowing what I said was true.

"Hahaha", she just laughed.

I had a little bit of schadenfreude inside me. I wondered what her reaction would be when she knew.

~another few minutes later~

"You are really driving to my grandpa. You aren't living in this street are you?", she said a little bit nervous.

"I am", I replied driving into the street and right into the house.

"Wait you are living in that house? You are that young guy my grandpa told us about?!", she asked confused.

"What young guy?", now it was my turn to get confused.

"My grandpa told our family that his new neighbor seemed awfully young and how rich he was with his cars.", she said with a teasing smile while accenting the awfully.

"Your grandpa won't be Jay Pritchett? Is he?", I asked acting confused.

"He is", she said laughing.

"What are the chanc-", Haley didn't finish the sentence but quickly jumped into the bush.

I was confused, but then turned around and saw Jay's car driving by.

"Hey Ethan. I need to tell you something. You are invited to a neighborhood meeting, where we discuss some things.", Jay said opening his window. Beside him sat the pretty lady I identified as Gloria at our first meeting.

"You must be Gloria, right? His wife? I saw the wedding photos on your lawn.", I said to the beautiful woman beside Jay.

"Yes. I am.", she said with a smile after hearing that I knew she was his wife through the photos. I knew from the series that she hated it when people thought she really was Jay's wife.

"Bye Mr. Pritchett", I said goodbye with a smile.

"phew- That was close," Haley said while going out of the bushes.

"Am I really that bad?", I asked teasingly.

"Yes you are", she said and kissed me.

"By the way. You really have many cars", she said seeing four of my current cars. These were mostly newer models of the Mercedes and Audi I had. The more expensive ones were in the garage. I recently made plans to make it also have an underground to store more cars. I loved cars.

My thoughts drifted away.

"Hey. Earth to Ethan. Why are you so absent? You won't have more cars in the garage, will you?", she said in a tone that she didn't believe.

I just laughed.

After that, we went into the house.

I showed her anything besides the secret tunnel I made a few months ago.

She was surprised and ordered me to let her have a pool party in my garden sometime in the future.

"Now let us come to the garage. The best part of the house", I said knowing the Enzo alone was worth as much as the house if you sold it to the right person. If not even more. But I didn't lack that little money.

After seeing all the cars in the garage, Haley said only one sentence with her mouth wide open. She may not know much about cars, but she knew alone from the appearance that they probably cost much.
