章 12: Modern Family begins
I am pretty sure that Modern Family will begin today.
As for why? I will visit Haley's home for the first day today and she told me about her uncle's trip to Vietnam yesterday.
If I thought I just replaced Dylan and wouldn't change anything? I didn't worry as the plan to visit Haley was forced on that date.
That was the day her mother would get home from a massage and she should be in a really good mood after that.
And besides that I already changed some things. It seems that I was Haley's first kiss. In the series Dylan wasn't as she only met him a few days or weeks prior to the pilot episode.
After she knew me she started to like me after one or two months.
What surprised me the most about that was that something in the series changed or didn't?
I don't know.
The thing is that me, Haley, and the others played truth or truth a few days into our knowing and she said her most embarrassing was that she never kissed a boy. She told everyone she had her first kiss at 11 to form her image.
Unlikely for any normal 11-year-old, but knowing Haley it was probably true.
I was getting dressed.
I put on a pure white shirt with beautiful trousers.
Soon after I took the new Audi to the house Haley told me.
I parked it a street away and walked to the house.
I texted Haley as she told me to do.
She quickly went downstairs and opened the door.
"Hi Ethan", she said with a smile. She was dressed in beautiful jeans and a black shirt.
"Hi Haley", I said leaning in for a kiss, but was quickly stopped by her dragging me upstairs.
"Haley. Is that the boyfriend you mentioned?", I turned around and saw a beautiful-looking middle-aged woman coming towards me.
She took my arm and said, "Hi, you must be Ethan? How old are you? Do you know Haley is 15? How long do you know each other?", she asked continuous questions in an almost threatening tone.
I didn't mind as I knew she just wanted the best for Haley. Due to this I replied with a smile and said,
"I am Ethan. I am a little bit younger than Haley and we have quite a few classes together and we have known each other for quite a while now"
She seemed to relax a little after that.
I suddenly heard a loud sound of ouch from outside. It seemed to come from a young boy.
It seemed that Phil shot Luke at this time, not later as in the original.
After that me and Haley went upstairs to watch a movie.
Shortly after there was a knock on the door.
The door opened and a middle-aged man, which I recognized as Phil came in.
"Hi, you must be Ethan the player yo", Phil said trying to look serious.
"Yes, Mr. Dunphy. I am not as big of a player as you. You must be a big player as a magician, right?", I said with a smile.
"How do you know I am a magician?", he said leaning onto me and whispering, "Are you also one?"
To which I replied, "No I just saw the magic stuff and asked Haley about it. But I am really envious of you. It must be great to be a magician"
"Yes, it is the best", Phil said with a huge smile.
"Dad, please go now. We want to watch a movie.", Haley said annoyedly at the side.
"Okay. Okay. I will go now. Have fun but don't get kids.", Phil said sarcastically with a smile.
"DAD!", Haley screamed.
"PHIL!", Claire followed soon after hearing what he said.
We watched the movie for about half an hour and Claire suddenly came in with a laundry basket.
She put the clothes in.
"MOM!", it started again. I smiled.
After that Claire left, but she didn't close the door.
Haley wanted to close it, but I told her that that wouldn't be needed.
What Haley didn't know, but I knew was that Claire was hiding behind the door.
She smiled a little bit and she relaxed her guard a little bit more against me.
I smiled. The abilities from the templates are really good sometimes.
We finished watching the movie.
After watching it, I kissed Haley and went to drive home.
I couldn't stay longer as the whole family was going to their uncle's home. I wasn't qualified yet from the closeness to participate in such a meeting. Especially uninvited. They didn't even know me yet.
