Suddenly, my stomach turned, and I started pushing him. “Get off me... now!”

“What’s wrong?” Logan asked, quickly sliding off me, and I ran into the bathroom and vomited the contents of my stomach into the toilet, barely making it there in time.

Suddenly, a cool washcloth was pressed to my forehead.

“You should go,” I moaned, feeling as if I had the worst hangover imaginable, but I had nothing to drink.

“Not likely.” I glanced up at him, and he was beaming from ear to ear. “Morning sickness?”

I nodded, frowning. “Well, you don’t have to look so happy about it.”

He kissed the back of my head as I hovered, knowing it wasn’t over yet.

“It just tells me that my child is making his presence known.” Logan turned the washrag over and pressed the other side to my forehead. It instantly felt better.

“Our child,” I corrected.
